El, Idrissi Sarah Cherki. "Responsible innovation for information systems : understanding the facilitators of responsible innovation and encouraging its application among future IS practitioners." Doctoral thesis, Université Laval, 2021. http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11794/69371.
Full textLocated at the intersection of technology, organizations, society and policy, information systems (IS) play an important role in addressing major societal dilemmas, such as sustainable development. In recent years, environmental sustainability, more particularly, Green IS, has received considerable attention by IS scholars. This thesis contributes to this literature by providing a comprehensive understanding of the emergent concept of Responsible Innovation (RI), and how to apply RI in IS innovations. The contention is that by adopting RI principles, IS organizations and practitioners can become change agents of innovation for sustainability. This thesis presents three interrelated studies which demonstrate how this change can be enabled. The first study develops a taxonomy of RI facilitators as a starting point to applying this framework in IS research and practice. The taxonomy led to the identification of six dimensions that facilitate RI projects. The second study involves a qualitative field study of organizations, investigating the application of RI in their innovation processes. This study led to the creation of theoretical propositions on the application of the RI framework for IS innovations. The third study, using an action design research methodology, develops a training workshop aimed at teaching RI to IS practitioners. The results of this study suggest the workshop is effective in engaging people in reflexivity about IS innovations projects and encouraging them to apply RI principles in their future careers. Bridging the gap between practice and theory, this thesis is a valuable source of knowledge for IS researchers and practitioners to integrate RI in IS innovations, leading us closer to the prerequisites needed for sustainability in organisations.

Full textThe knowledge universe of an innovator-entrepreneur (IE) can be conceptualized using maps of categories or cognitive taxonomy (Brännback and Carsrud, 2010). The information possessed by an entrepreneur following a high tech invention (Mohr et al, 2003) constitutes "knowledge structures" (Walsh, 1995) sharable with people involved in the innovation design process. Through work on these structures with the IEs and then their business coaches, an information system can be created. From initial maps of categories a near-decomposable system as a hierarchy of components can be developed, dictated by effectual logic (Sarasvathy & Simon, 2000; Sarasvathy, 2001). The hierarchy of components related to the model developed enables a new and better design of maps of category, which in turn makes the artifact (method) more cohesive and relevant. The artifact thus comprised, an "effectual information system" which can be simultaneously used by entrepreneurs and business coaches, plays the role of mediator and fosters the emergence of heuristics to develop strategy during participation in a business incubation program

Full textThis research-action in management sciences is placed at the crossroads between information, firm and life theories. Its objective was to understand and characterize the processes of emergence and evolution of the information and communication systems (ICS), using an integrative and global angle taking into account cognitive and environmental factors, and including the actor within the definition of the ICS. The evolutionary approach of the populations of ISC represents a continuous and non linear dynamics, according to gradualist try-mistake-selection-retention cycles, and a dual saltationist scheme. The long term indeterminism principle highlights the game of random and necessity around the actors in and around the ICS, as well as the effect of the entropic time arrow. The evolution is realized through competition, association or cooperation, and is characterized by the transmission of a teleonomic patrimony submitted to selective variations within the time, and which reflects the primary functions of the ICS. It is structured on genomic bases of knowledge and relations, mobilized and operationalized through the ways of competences and routines (intrinsic dimensions of the ICS), that will allow the satisfacing of the environment according to the context and the problem to be solved (extrinsic dimensions). The managerial implications of this research crystallize a more integrative vision of the ISC seen as factors of continuous innovation, and which processes of evolution can be facilitated according to the complexity of the problem to be solved, and the constraints linked to the historical and environmental context

Full textSince the beginning of the 21st century, the French Army Light Aviation (ALAT) has been concerned with the process of digitalization of the battlefield. In the meantime, only very few scholars had addressed this issue although the consequences of such studies could lead to a paradigm shift in the aerocombat. This Ph. D. Thesis aims to outline a series of new outcomes in terms of evolutions of the Information System understood from the perspective of emerging uses developed by the ALAT pilots dealing with Helicopter Mission Planning. This research studies the emerging uses apprehended as “bricolages” in Ciborra’s sense and in the socio materiality theoretical framework. However, the operationalization of the results is subject to the epistemological framework of critical realism, on the one hand, and to the implementation of new methods in terms of experience feedbacks (Lessons Learned), on the other hand

Full textThis research was focused on the use and the non-use of ICT in the cancer care networks in France. To understand these two categories, it’s at first necessary to take into account the circuits and communication processes genealogy. Previous technologies and communication processes are used to evaluate and estimate the networks’ technical offer. The new technologies do not create new exchange circuits. They are only used reinforce the ones already at work. The apprehension of these two categories then requires the analysis of the socio-political and professional aspects of the reforms. The non-use of ICT in cancer care networks can also be explained by a form of social critique produce by the professionals when it comes to developing a new policy. For health professionals the network’s technical offer can be seen as a tool to redefine power centres, in competition context between healthcare institutions and medical specialties. ICT are also used as a monitorin and tracing system by the politics. It is impossible to study the use and the non-use of ICT in the health ca sector without taking into account the incompatibility between medical logic behind doctors’ work and the administrative rationality that outlines the reform. This incompatibility explains why the ICT is not used in man occasions. Finally, note that the research comes to the conclusion that there is a necessity to recognize this category of non-use

Full textInteractive video was a long time considered as a technological innovation capable of producing new systems of communication. In spite of the possibilities offered, no application has ever gone beyond the prototype stage. The study of the behaviour of interactive video terminals users, denotes that contrary to its promoters suppositions, this technology which resorts more and more to computers, has gained the interest of a large public. Interactive video must be viewed in both the economical sector of communication and data-processing (hardware and software). By this means can be considered how the situations observed between 1988 and 1991 may be developed. The present report particularly emphasizes video has little or no relation with new forms of writing, nor with artificial intelligence, or even the apperance of a new form of communication ; we are above all, in presence of new technological apparatus designed for distributing information. The study of functions and programmes contents proposed by the interactive terminals in public places shows that the role of the users consists mainly in cooperating towards a setting-up of a personalized information ; this collaboration requires for the user, the complete control of the technical rudiments of data-processing. The outcome of interactive video in public places will in no way be understood without taking into account the entire proposals of the data-processing products designed by the term "multimedia". In this aspect the major contribution to the formation of interactive video users, would appear to be the elaboration of a new training scherme to meet the needs of data-processing multimedia hardware and software

Full textThe main objective of this research is to develop an optimal solution in terms of precision, cost and weight of the equipment for computing the athlete’s velocities and accelerations using high data rate GPS measurements. This thesis is divided into three major sections. First, the theory about the computation of velocity is presented. Then, the theory about the computation of acceleration is shown. Finally, results of field tests are given. These tests were conducted to compare different parameters used to define an optimal strategy to obtain precise velocities and accelerations. The principal parameters tested are: computation modes (stand-alone or differential); processing algorithms using pre-computed positions, Doppler frequencies or carrier phase measurements; weighted observation matrices using satellites elevation angles or signal/noise ratio; filtering techniques using a moving average or Fast Fourier Transform; and GPS receivers of different quality (low cost receiver or geodetic receiver).

Full textThis thesis is oriented in management sciences and focuses on open innovation (OI). In pragmatic terms, open innovation aims to create value on the one hand and the means to disseminate it through the synergy of contributors to an ecosystem on the other. In more managerial and organizational terms, Information Systems (IS), their processes and their tools will help speed up the creation of value and optimize and trace the dissemination of this value. This research is based on a theoretical and empirical basis. It is based on a part of the theoretical corpus of the management of information systems linked to the problem of knowledge (Dudezert, 2013) and its construction, integrity and evaluation (Biot-Paquerot, 2013, Bidan and Godé, 2017) and then on a participatory observation approach within various entities in the phase of co-construction of knowledge through business and innovation ecosystems (Oruezabala, 2017) - EdF, Région Auvergne -Rhône-Alpes, Bee Live, etc. - and "client-pilot" approaches. This qualitative approach has enabled us to highlight results that show a great diversity of field approaches and the originality of tools such as pilots, lead users and cartographers

Full textOur research focuses on industrial innovation in the context of a free market. Within this context, we tackle the problematics of creativity through questioning the interaction between creativity and knowledge capitalization within the firm. First of all, considering the information we have access to, we will examine the research works made by the Industrial Engineering or its related domains in the field of design, innovation, creativity and knowledge capitalization. We will show the differences and similarities between creativity and design, then we will position creativity within an innovation process and finally we will analyse the established relations between creativity and knowledge capitalization. This approach enables us to position our work, its environment, and to clearly define our research subject. Then we will present the qualitative investigation grounds whose results allowed us to develop a first model of creativity. The results were compared to the synthesis of the theoretical corpus as well as to the analysis of the creativity aids in order to establish a pattern for an industrial creativity approach. This first model was submitted to the analysis of some creativity actors. Then we built a new version of our model and thoroughly compared it to creativity projects in order to measure if it was potentially generic. Finally, we developed a dynamic tool enabling us to partly draw up a formal model aiming at answering our research matter

Full textThis research shows the absolute necessity of multirefential approach in situations and facts investigations (educational). The object is there studied in its complexity, heterogeneity, opacity. Any innovation is, potentially, an institutional analyser. Here, the initial aims of a telematics innovation might induce a parental intervention into the daily pedagogic action. This provoked strong resistances and conflicts who fed to abandon the initial project. A new project was stated over by only a few teahers on a wholly different bases (v. 3). A multireferential perspect inscribes (v. 1) educational system in the wider social system: the notion of crisis is enlighted by those of edcuational form & system. A critical approach of social change and of innovation leads to rigorous dicrimination between them. In this genral framework, the polysemic notion of "etablissement" will be analysed through three aspects : institution organization group, dicriminated for intelligilility, but interlaced in everiday life. The notion of "projet d'ecole" (polysemic) is linked with the precedent. The teacher function - agent actor- is approached in a socio-temporal perspective. In v. 2, self-concept notion is studied as also interactions person technics imaginary and social pratices. Interactions person soeen-machines are interpreted by narcissism. Telematics development is skached. Personal implications always emerge

Full textConsulting is not an established trade such as the lawyer or physician profession to which consultants use to compare themselves. However consulting is a very important and legitimating factor in the economic world. In the beginning of the 90s as in the early 2000s, it successfully mastered the crises it encountered. Its structures are relatively stable. Eventhough the consultants mediate between the film and the everchanging economic world, it is to be asked what are the factors which help those developments and stability? In order to answer this question, we have set at work a pluri-methodological process resting on four levels over the period from 1990 through 2005. First level: a statistical analysis of consultants' morphology and professionnal and social dynamics whereby can be seen their closeness to business bourgeoisie as well as the transitory character of their consulting activity. Second: a lengthways analysis of consulting companies which renders the space structure visible, either by showing the structures at work in the consulting process (capital undivision, integration of diverse resources, concentration, social surface and volume of resources. Third: the opposition which exists between conception and realisation. Fourth an analysis of the ERP implemented at EDF helped render visible the complex interplay between consultants and their clients. A synthesis of those different analyses shows the cyclical nature of the appropriation by consulting firms of consulting services, which helps understand both the ability of the trade to change and at the same time as it perpetuates them

Full textThis abstract synthesizes the results of a survey which we carried out of Algerian scientists specialized in agronomic, veterinary and biological sciences, in order to analyze the knowledge management of scientific production and to evaluate the importance that they carry to the sharing of the knowledge and the progress of collective intelligence. The data obtained reveal an essential need for creation of a convenient framework for sharing knowledge in order to enhance collective intelligence. This research confirms the need of an information system of high added value (National observatory of the agronomic research). Algeria, faced with strong constraints of insufficient agricultural production, needs to fit into this logic and to use its research results as a source of innovation and performance in its current strategy of reducing its food bill. Nonetheless, one of its constraints concerns the lack of tools to encourage the capitalization and the enhancement of its scientific output. Through this work of knowledge management applied to the scientific production of the Algerian researchers, a need even more crucial emerges, which is sharing of knowledge not only within communities of researchers but also with enterprises and farms

However, in the information and communication technology field, a lot of innovations do not meet user requirements. The purpose of our research work is to identify, through the study of human interactions, the mechanisms of innovative projects, in order to find the best ways to save time and / or avoid certain errors. Several case studies in the field, using an inductive approach, bring to light practices often used in the development of innovative projects. Then flexible methodology (from problematic to requirement model) is built and becomes a real toolbox (understanding the situation in order to be able to propose or to make the best decisions)

Full textLearning systems are a particular class of systems designed to produce services; their main purpose is to increase the competency of learners. This type of system is likely to face many transformations in the next few years. Indeed, learning systems must be able to respond to the changing needs of learners and of the industries that recruit the learners for employment. Moreover, they will operate in an increasingly competitive and more aggressive environment. The primary objective of this work is to define a performance measurement system of higher education institutions, which we will then link with action levers to allow a reactive control. Note that the main specificity of the learning system is that the product (learner) is also the actor in the production process and the client of the organization that provides the system. Thus we are confronted with a new type of product, the active product ; and the control system must be able to take into account this characteristic of the learning system. We propose a method in order to implement an integrated and reactive system of control. This method is composed of nine different steps from the definition of the system s strategy to the definition of the operational goals. The method is also using a phase of model to define a process map and a UML model.hese works are based on two principal activities: the deployment of the strategy through the conception of the performance measurement system and the conception of the control system itself. These two activities are articulated around a model activity, indispensable to implement our system. Existing methods will be used and adapted to our particular needs, like method of balanced scorecards for the deployment of the strategy or the Statecharts formalism to model the behaviour of our cooperating structure of control

Full textDrawing upon cybernetics, hypertext, interactive computing, packet switching, computing resources sharing and Cold War ideology, the emergence of the ARPANET network at the end of the sixties was the product of almost fifteen years of innovation, mobilizing numerous participants, members of the American " military-scientific-industrial " complex. After a critical study of the Internet historiography -especially the narrative of the supposed military origins of ARPANET, the thesis emphasizes the heterogeneity and uncertainty which constitute the innovation processes, as well as the multiple temporalities at work in the emergence of this information infrastructure. Based on an empiricist position, inspired by an anthropological approach towards the sciences and techniques which postulate the nesting of social and tehnological aspects, this thesis is built on three main points : -the exploration of the emergence of ARPANET, its many components and the associated sociotechnical networks. An important place is given to the birth of the interactive computing at the end of the fifties, symbolized by time-sharing computers, which foreshadow the network computer ; - the critical use of the translation model and its limits in studying the innovation processes ; - reflections on the history of information tools, linked to writing " processual " history. The description of the emergence of the first computer network reveals implicit questions of how to conceptualize innovation, and of determinism in particular

Full textOrganizations that employ Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to innovate, generate performance results that differ greatly from one organization to another. The Three principal factors that influence performance are: the degree of intensity, coherence and the scale of the systemic innovation. On the basis of current knowledge, the concept of systemic alignment is clearly identified in the research literature. The herewith thesis purposes to examine the notion of the business model innovation. A systematic literature review has been conducted. From a conceptual perspective, the review provided a clearer definition of the concept of a business model; and in turn, facilitated building a typology based on the various existing business model frameworks. The research framework examined innovation within the business model from three perspectives: (1) The strategic level is assessed employing a matrix that examines how innovation is positioned within the business model, and identifiying business model innovation trajectories. (2) The configuration level is studied based on the Caisse and Montreuil’s tetrahedral framework. (3) The operational-tactical level is focused on key success factors and the interdependencies, herewith entitled the structuring chains. Literature on this subject is relatively new therefore a comparative case study methodology has been favoured. Three companies located in the Province of Québec, Canada have been studied. Each represents a business sector. Each has led a significant business model innovation that is clearly ICT driven. The research concludes that the concept of a business model is relevant to better understand the systemic alignment within the context of ICT implementation. A total of nine propositions are identified and have examined how companies manage business model innovation. These nine propositions constitute the bases for future research.

Full textΙn the new era of education, the globalization, the openness and the universality of the Internet, the Web 2.0 and the Information Communication Technology (ICT) applications have important implications in the teaching process as well as in the traditional research functions within universities, such as: the redefinition of the participants’ roles in the "teaching-learning" process, the change in the way knowledge is shaped, shared and assessed, the evolution of teacher professionalization and the transformation of the role, the mission and the way universities operate in general. All of these changes are related to a great extent to the issue of the introduction and integration of educational ICT in education and teaching. Within the context of educational globalization and industrialization, ICT plays an important role in the structure and the interaction of the three university levels (micro-level, medium-organizational level, and macro-level), raising at the same time, considerable concerns about the management of new emerging administrative and communication challenges. Thus, the approaches that attempt to explain the interdependence among the three levels of a techno-pedagogical system within universities vary, including: techno-deterministic, social, and pedagogical approaches. Every debate on the issue of ICT applications in the educational environment tends to focus on the general concern about the relationship between the commercial and/or industrial rationalization of the universities, whereby the latter are regarded as ‘organizations’.Within this frame, the present research is based on a communicative approach, which is characterized by the organizational communication, aiming to investigate and interpret the information and communication issues that intersect with the three university levels and derive from the involvement of ICT in the “teaching-learning” process in higher education in Europe, in the name of the modernization of the educational services and products. The main research questions concern the extent to which educational ICT constitutes the main instrument for the commercialization of higher education in Europe, as well as the role of educational ICT not only in the operation and the communication of universities as public organizations in the digital age, but also in the possible reformation of the participants’ pedagogical and communication activities.Under this perspective, the investigation focuses on the considerations of key actors-participants (mainly those being responsible for managing information and communication systems within universities and the teaching staff) about the processes and consequences of technology, information and communication mediations, which influence the learning process in higher education in Europe. In particular, the study is conducted in France and Greece, taking into account the general neo-liberal socio-economic context

Full textSince the middle of the 90s, the e-organization and the intranet set up themselves as excellent model of the practices of organizational communication. The objective of the research is to put in visibility the dynamics of innovation by taking into account the devices of mediation and the communicationnels processes which allow the institutionalization of scripts. Devices and processes of creation, innovation are particularly studied through a case of collective conception (intranet project of a international group), professional associations and manager press. We proceed, on one hand, to an analysis of the story that these authorities give themselves in touch with the intranet, and so, the developed reflexive activities. On the other hand, specific processes are analyzed in a strong way in the sense that they question the sociogenesis of the e-organization in socio-cognitive dimensions of the innovation : devices and process of classifications, selections, celebrations, controversies, updatings. The organizational hétérogenesis is put in touch with the proposed scripts, with the redistributions of these answers and their movements. By taking into account the isomorphic processes, in their normative and coercive forms, the imitation envisages then as an acted and active process a " libidinal economy of the e-organization ". The scripts appear as authorities (not exclusively linguistic) of performation, the power of which increases by means of repetitions and of differentiations: they establish a distributed and unstable socio-cognitive map of the e-organization from which four interacting figures emerge: a structural-normative figure, a socio-cognitive figure, a sociopolitical figure and a socio-aesthetic figure

Full textThis research focuses on the determinants of the intention to use the digital HR information of employees. Based on the approval theories and technology's adoption, we chose the TAM as the core of our model. Thus, our study contributes to the understanding or the reject of the the digital HR information in a professional environment and to find out the explanatory facts of this approval and the intention of using it by potential users. To give an answer to this problematic, the model developed and implemented, is inspired by the theories and theoretical models that treated the behavior of acceptance and use of information systems (TAM TAM2, UTAUT, UTAUT2 .. ) and the results of two exploratory studies. The proposed posture in our search highlights the adoption of digital RH information. Our study also conducted us to well understand the main reasons of the adoption of the e-HRM service by employees. As well as our research puts in obviousness the important role that the RH function plays in the use of the digital RH service along and after its muse en place. The results obtained after the evolution of this framework model and the hypothesis test using the PLS approach suggest that there are hints of the way of proceeding to foster of the settling of the dematerialization of the RH project and the digital transformation of the RH function

Full textThis research work deals with the services compositions at a business level: a business process is seen as a composition of services to achieve an objective, taking into account contextual information on the environment. Also, in this research, the idea of considering the compositions as a persistent artefact is developed for reuse and sharing purposes. The PAχ approach offers models of compositions in order to specify compositions at different levels of abstraction. At the intentional level, a composition of services is seen as a composition of business goals. At the orchestrated level, a composition of services is specified as a business process in which some activities and operations are abstract. At the executable level, a composition of services is a business process in which the activities are carried out by identified services. At the trace level, a composition of services is seen as the trace of the execution of a business process implemented by invocation of services. The PAχ approach provides a flexible approach based on co-engineering paradigm for defining business processes which satisfies a business need and based on the reuse of services and composition of services. The proposed approach is flexible because the realization of activities depends of the context in which the PAχ approach is deployed. The approach is based on co-engineering paradigm: it suggests involving business actors to design a process, i.e. a composition of services during execution. Co-engineering improves alignment between business needs and processes to satisfy these needs
Girard, Aurélie. "L'intégration des médias sociaux dans les stratégies d'e-GRH : le cas du recrutement." Thesis, Montpellier 2, 2012. http://www.theses.fr/2012MON20158/document.
Full textThis work addresses the issue of the integration of social media in recruitment strategies of organizations. Although the number of recruiters using websites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin or Viadeo is constantly growing, both theoretical and practical knowledge of these innovative usages remains limited. In order to better understand these usages and build an appropriate analytical framework, two complementary theoretical fields were mobilized, social capital theory and improvisational theory. Following a preliminary study to refine the initial questioning, four case studies were conducted among two recruitment agencies and two companies that have implemented innovative strategies. Finally, to validate a part of the results and add a prospective vision, a Delphi study was then carried out on a panel of 34 experts. These different studies reveal two main practices developed by organizations: employer brand management and operational recruitment. Social media appear not to be similar but complementary with the previous means of recruitment. They allow organizations to adapt to new applicant behaviors and develop their relational capital. However, their mere usage is not always synonymous with relational approach. In addition, the valuation of tinkering and improvisation proves pertinent to better integrate social media in recruitment strategies. Their integration modifies the place and role of HR professionals in terms of skills, responsibilities and strategic importance. However, this study highlights different challenges to overcome

Full textWithin the current context, the transformation of industries through new paradigms of performance such as The Factory of the Future (FoF), Industry 4.0 (I 4.0) or even The Smart Factory (SF) is at the heart of the industrials’ current concerns. The present work address the problem of the transition from a specific situation (AS-IS) to a target situation alike FoF (TO-BE) considering the desired situation AS-WISHED and the resources constraints. In this line of action, the main contribution concerns an approach based on a co-evolution model enabling to guide manufacturing industries to perform such a transition. Based on the work of Tolio et al. (2010), we propose an enhanced co-evolution model that integrates the strategic level of decisions, the information system role (IS) and the role of the human workforce. From the theoretical perspective, this new model consists in 3 domains: Product design/ Manufacturing/ IS which are structured into two levels of analysis: external (strategic) and internal (operational). The resulting structure of 6 sub-domains is in turn composed of 3 components covering the decisions related to each sub-domain and level of analysis. From the management perspective, the management of co-evolution relies on the modelling of their components. Hence, we exploit the modelling language constructs of the ISO 19440 (2007) standard for the internal components. Then, we characterize the existing co-evolution links between the different sub-domains of the proposed co-evolution model. At last, a 3 phase approach enabling to exploit the enhanced co-evolution model is proposed. It considers the feasibility constraints and the co-evolution constraints linked to the management of the links or impacts that came into play in the co-evolution. As such, it enables to work out progressively a feasible TO-BE model

Full textThis work questions the answer to be given in terms of organization of the health technical offer and its fair distribution in the territories especially for the elderly patients with multimorbidities. It is based on the assumption that there is space for a concept of small multi-disciplinary outpatient health facilities, with a small health-technical platform, which would help to streamline and optimize care pathways. The method consisted on the one hand to study in Germany smaller community interdisciplinary health care center (the MVZ) in operation for a longer time than the the French multidisciplinary médical care centers. And on the other hand it analyzed the national heath data to reveal both the existence of comorbidités related groups and homogeneous care pathways related groups. The results are positive, both in network science analysis and in the automation of representations of complex care pathways. They made it possible to create representative patterns of groups, to characterize the consumption of care, in terms of medical devices and human resources, to quantify the cumulative distances traveled and the costs accumulated by patients according to their place of residence and the health institutions to which they are sent. We get addition elements for the definition and labeling of small community health centers, satellite of larger hospitals. This work represents a particularly useful step, both conceptual and practical, for complex health data studies of elderly

Full textSkills are complex management objects which are essential to define employers’ needs and draw one’s profile and wishes. Aggregated in positions, jobs, professions, they form a transactional framework in a space of abstract artefacts and their links. This thesis aims to assert the centrality of a mapping device by examining: the benefits of a clearing of this space, especially trough digital transformation; the indispensable support of technological artefacts to help a person or a group, to identify, decide, evolve in this space; the role of cartographer to be taken by the human resources function. The research is based on a professional career in the field of human resources and methodologically, crosses needs around the notion of competence with the contributions of modern cartography (GIS, geomatics, data visualisation). It leads to a synthesis by the design of a SaaS platform demonstrator, and a cartographic methodology for abstract space
Lepanto, Luigi. "L’adoption des innovations dans les systèmes PACS et la perception des bénéfices : le concept de l’alignement tâche-technologie comme outil d’évaluation." Thèse, 2011. http://hdl.handle.net/1866/5345.
Full textContext: The first PACS deployments date to the early 1980’s. The recent upgrade of PACS in a university teaching hospital has offered the opportunity to study the introduction of innovations in a mature technology. Objective: First, to conduct a literature review of studies evaluating user perceptions following deployment of PACS. Second, to evaluate in a case study if task-technology fit predicts utilisation and perceived benefits. Methods: A systematic review of the literature was conducted to identify studies evaluating user perceptions. An adaptation of the Task-Technology-Fit model developed by Goodhue (1995) served as a theoretical basis for the case study conducted with an auto-administered survey. Results: The models used in the studies identified in the review are more suited for initial deployments of PACS, rather than mature systems in a state of continuous evolution. There is a significant correlation between the level of task-technology fit and the users’ perception of net benefits, as well as use. The study also revealed a divide between the perception of users and that of developers involved in product evolution. Conclusion: The findings validate the use of task-technology fit to study a PACS upgrade. It is important to maintain a continuous interaction between users and developers beyond the early phases of product development.
