Abstract:
This study aims to determine the effect of owner's knowledge, business scale, business age on the success of business performance by using accounting information as a moderating variable. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed all aspects of human life, from health to the economy. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Blora Regency are one of the industries affected by the pandemic. The population in this study is the perpetrators of MSMEs owners of Blora specialties. Through this research obtained 30 respondents with various kinds of business. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Based on the results of research and data analysis using multiple linear regression and MRA shows that: (1) the knowledge of the owner has a significant negative effect on the success of business performance; (2) business scale has a significant positive effect on the success of business performance; (3) business age has a significant negative effect on the success of business performance; (4) the use of accounting information is moderated negatively on the relationship of owner knowledge to the success of business performance; (5) the use of accounting information is moderated positively on the relationship between business scale and business performance success; (6) the use of accounting information which is moderated negatively on the relationship between business age and business performance success.

Abstract:
This research aims to find out the influence of socio-economicactors of breeders and managerial breeders on the success of dairy farming efforts. The unit of analysis is a dairy farmer in Cianjur Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency. Respondents were taken in a census of 65 people. Analytical techniques are used pathanalysis. The results of the study obtained the state of the socio-economic factors of dairy farmers consisting of aspects / indicators: age, formal education, knowledge, experience, burden of dependents, motivation usaha, business scale and capital show good criteria with achievement of 71.54%. Managerial governance of dairy farmers consists of dimensions/ indicators: data collectionrecords, milking techniques, livestock health, feed, marriage, business governa nce, trade, labor and marketing show good criteria with an achievement of 78.88%. Against the managerial aspects of the breeder, the aspect / dimension of livestock health and business governance shows excellent criteria. The success of dairy farming business consisting of dimensions: Productivity of cows; Production costs; and efficiency of farming. During lactation the average dairy product produces milk reaching 22 liters / tail / day, the average production cost is Rp 2,250 / liter and the average business efficiency of 1.98. The success rate of dairy farming is 75.64%. There is a strong and tangible positive relationship between the socio-economic factors of breeders and managerial governance of breeders. The strong relationship between the two variables is indicated by the pearson correlation coefficient = 0.533. Socio-economic factors of breeders and managerial governance have a positive and real influence on the success of dairy farming efforts. Contribution of socio-economic factors 15.54% and managerial governance 45.14%. Much bigger.

Ensuring dignified care for needy populations worldwide is a collective responsibility that transcends geographical and environmental conditions. Modern entrepreneurs and businesses should incorporate social responsibility into their core objectives and success plans, recognizing the influence of underprivileged communities on their operations. However, not all organizations possess the internal capacity to actively practice social responsibility due to factors such as business type or staff profile. Consequently, many companies support other institutions dedicated to social causes, viewing it as a business opportunity that can yield modest profits. This article presents a case study of Diagnext.com, a small company that has devoted 14 years to technological innovation in digital health and has made significant contributions to public healthcare. Their initiatives have had a remarkable impact on the Amazon Rainforest's remote populations, including indigenous communities and river dwellers, facilitating hundreds of thousands of medical consultations annually. The case study aims to understand the main factors that drove Diagnext.com's promoters to invest their knowledge in social innovation and how they are proactively building their future. Key aspects explored include the leadership profile of Diagnext.com, ethical and sustainability concerns, transparency, and social responsibility. By analyzing these factors, the article highlights the importance of integrating social responsibility into business practices and the positive outcomes that can be achieved through technological innovation in addressing the healthcare needs of underprivileged populations.

The health sector is one of the most knowledge-intensive and complicated globally. It has been proven repeatedly that Business Intelligence (BI) systems in the healthcare industry can help hospitals make better decisions. Some studies have looked at the usage of BI in health, but there is still a lack of information on how to develop a BI system successfully. There is a significant research gap in the health sector because these studies do not concentrate on the organizational determinants that impact the development and acceptance of BI systems in different organizations; therefore, the aim of this article is to develop a framework for successful BI system development in the health sector taking into consideration the organizational determinants of BI systems’ acceptance, implementation, and evaluation. The proposed framework classifies the determinants under organizational, process, and strategic aspects as different types to ensure the success of BI system deployment. Concerning practical implications, this paper gives a roadmap for a wide range of healthcare practitioners to ensure the success of BI system development.

Innovation is an important issue for any business and especially vital concept for the establishment and growth of a successful health tourism businesses for gaining business improvement and differential advantage in competition. Purpose of this study is to figure out gaps in the innovation in health tourism entrepreneurship literature, show the comprehensive whole situation, areas where the related areas focused on and indicate the related promising areas for research in health tourism innovation. Thus, the significance of this study lies in 2 sub topics as; 1) providing a brief literature review on health tourism innovation 2) indicate the research gaps in health tourism innovation. Results indicate that there is a serious research gap in the innovation studies in spa and wellness tourism, since studies are concentrated on health and medical tourism. Moreover, it is understood that qualitative research is preferred by the majority of the authors followed by the mixed methods which leads to a research gap for quantitative studies in the area. Hence, most researched areas consist of determinants of innovativeness, impact on costs, innovation’s relationship with sustainability, innovation drivers, collaboration, aspects of innovation on success, innovation types’ effectiveness on health tourism establishments and successful innovation applications.

One of the things that need to be considered in creating a competitive advantage for culinary, fashion, music, tourism industry players in the pademi era is Database Building and Management, namely the application of a platform that includes WhatsApp Business and email lists as a data container for potential repeat purchases by consumers. Since the pandemic conditions, consumers prefer to buy food, clothing, household items dal other delivery rather than come on the spot. Adaptation for behavior towards the new normal by developing strategies such as social distancing, health consider, cashless, less contact must also be implemented by existing businesses. In the context of business, technology can provide changes so as to create a new point of view in business known as digital marketing or internet marketing that utilizes the internet as a market medium. Conventional businesses are more concerned with purchases made by consumers. However, with a circular business model, how consumers can obtain goods and services is more important. Conventional business success focuses more on the material benefits gained from the sale of goods or services. They are result oriented. However, circular businesses are more concerned with how they can create a balance between environmental, social, and profit aspects.

Purpose. Tourism is a powerful modern industry and its popularity is growing rapidly. At the same time, the industry is highly competitive, and tourism business enterprises must take into account all the risks inherent in the modern global economy in order to succeed. Strategic management plays a vital role in achieving this differentiation. The purpose of this article is to research modern approaches and key aspects of strategic management in tourism. To achieve this goal, a research methodology was used, which included the analysis of relevant literature and data on the tourism market. Method. In this study, an analysis of scientific sources, studies and publications related to strategic management in tourism was carried out. Modern approaches to strategic management in tourism were analyzed, their features and methods of application were determined. To obtain practical examples, an analysis of the activities of leading companies in the field of tourism was carried out. Results. The main modern approaches to strategic management in tourism are defined, which include: competitive strategy, diversification, development of new markets and products, strategy of focusing on clients and development of technological innovations. It is noted that each of these approaches has its own characteristics and methods of application. Scientific novelty. Our study contributes to the existing body of knowledge on strategic management in tourism by providing a comprehensive overview of contemporary approaches and key aspects. In addition, our study highlights the importance of technology, sustainability and innovation in strategic management in tourism, which has not been covered in detail in previous studies. Practical significance. The concept of "quality management of business processes" is thoroughly examined, encompassing a set of properties and characteristics related to interconnected activities that transform resources to deliver a final product or service. The article highlights the importance of combining technologicaland managerial aspects while formulating goals and allocating resources necessary for the execution of business processes. Optimization of processes becomes essential, especially when performance indicators do not meet the predefined standards. Furthermore, it acknowledges the potential to achieve superior results through efficient resource utilization and alignment of all aspects of enterprise functioning, including business process management systems, with the demands of external consumers. Honey is a hype product as immunity booster in the health shock covid-19. Unbalance of supply and demand has raised the price and made the consumer could not afford it. Besides that, global issue about unoriginal honey which spreads in society has made the consumer has negative stigma on SMEs honey product because it does not have complete food safety certification as commercial company. Objective of the research was to increase the consumer trust through originality assurance for honey product from traceability system. The research is a case study with FGD method and then followed by Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) analysis and Business Process Notation as solution. Result of the research showed that the distribution aspect has great power to affect the stakeholder and logistic aspects, due to success of both aspects are determined by distribution aspect. While the stakeholder aspect does not have any power to affect other aspect because if the business system has correct SOP, then both aspects will have appropriate supply chain management. Therefore, the solution is business process improvisation, so that to increase the trust local brand for honey product, it must be optimized through recording system of customer journey, so that the producer could trace the barrier and enabler factors about perspective of the honey originality

Innovative revenue generation by Canadian hospitals is drawing increasing attention. After a critical examination of the literature, we classified these into six areas: clinical/diagnostic insured services, clinical/diagnostic non-insured services, hotel services, retail services, administrative services and financial activities. We concluded that many Canadian hospitals are engaging in innovative revenue generation activities, the success of such activities has been mixed, there are many factors to consider when selecting revenue generation activities, many aspects of innovative revenue generation involve sophisticated business and risk management skills not traditionally required in hospital management, and implementation of many such activities requires support from the hospital board, hospital staff and medical staff.

The quality of professional training of future teachers is determined as an important criterion of the state and effectiveness of the modern system of preschool education The basics of technology of professional training of bachelors of preschool education, ways of forming intellectual, practical skills of students are considered. The mechanisms for improving the quality of professional training of future educators in health-preserving activities in early childhood groups are determined. The difficulties that arise for future educators in the organization of physical education and health protection in early childhood groups are identified. The ways of solving the tasks defined in the article are proposed. The factors influencing the increase of motivation for the effectiveness of students' learning activities in the process of preparation for health-preserving activities in early childhood groups are determined. The importance of the developmental nature of the teacher's interaction with young children in the organization of physical education is substantiated. The necessity of forming in future educators an understanding of health-saving activities as a process of strengthening and shaping children's health and the process of instilling healthy lifestyle skills is substantiated. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to synthesise critical success factors (CSFs) for advancing post-disaster infrastructure recovery and underpinning recovery authorities in decision making when facing future disasters. Design/methodology/approach The seismic recovery after the Canterbury (NZ) earthquake sequence in 2010-2011 was selected as a case study for identifying CSFs for an efficient recovery of infrastructure post-disaster. A combination of research approaches, including archival study, observations and semi-structured interviews were conducted for collecting data and evidences by engaging with participants involved at various tiers in the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction. The CSFs are evaluated and analysed by tracking the decision-making process, examining resultant consequences and foreseeing onwards challenges. Findings Six salient CSFs for strengthening infrastructure recovery management after disasters are identified. Furthermore, the study shows how each of these CSFs have been incorporated into the decision-making process in support of the post-disaster recovery and what difficulties encountered in the recovery process when implementing. Practical implications The proposed CSFs provide a future reference and guidance to be drawn on by decision makers when project-managing post-disaster recovery operations. Originality/value The value of the paper is that it bridges the gap between managerial contexts and technical aspects of post-disaster recovery process in an effort to rapidly and efficiently rebuild municipal infrastructure.

The study revealed the collaboration among SMEs actor to produce and market their product through digitalization be a the best way and a key of success to survive in the era covid-19 pandemic. Demographically and socio-culturally appropriate care is critical for empowering people with metabolic syndrome (MetS) to self-manage their condition. This focus group study aimed to explore the understanding of nutrition and lifestyle behaviors (NLBs) of Malaysians with MetS. Adults with MetS (N = 21) participated in four focus groups at a university’s research clinic in Malaysia. A thematic framework analysis approach was applied to the focus group data using an initial coding framework developed from the Health Belief Model. Six main themes were identified on perceived motivations, barriers, and threats toward healthy NLBs. Motivations to adopt healthy NLBs were body image, personal experience of adverse complications, and family and social support. The perception that healthcare is a business model, the idea that changes in NLBs are difficult and expensive, and cultural influence on food intake were identified as barriers to healthy NLBs. Inadequate knowledge of MetS was identified as a subtheme in this study. Health education and health promotion activities that aim to modify the NLBs of people with MetS should consider the community’s perception of motivation and barriers to change. Addressing these aspects in the development of programs can potentially increase program adoption and adherence, ensuring the success of community-based lifestyle interventions.

"A large number of studies have been conducted examining certain aspects of the financial situation of agricultural enterprises in the Republic of Serbia. However, the overall situation of these companies has rarely been the subject of analysis in previous studies. Therefore, this paper represents an attempt to comprehensively assess the financial conditions of large and medium-sized agricultural enterprises in the Republic of Serbia. Three models (Emerging market scoring, DF Indicator and G-Index) were used to analyse the key areas of financial security (liquidity and debt) and business success of 38 agricultural enterprises in the period from 2017 to 2021. By classifying the total values recorded into zones of financial health, an assessment of their overall position was made. The companies studied at the group level showed a satisfactory financial situation, due to favourable performance in individual cases, while the majority of enterprises were at risk in all business dimensions studied, with the exception of debt. During the analysis period, most of the companies under review recorded low liquidity, which was often accompanied by low profitability. The results of this work provide an insight into the key specifics of the activity of agricultural companies from the point of view of financial analysis and, in this sense, represent an important additional tool in the process of their management, but also contribute to creating an adequate basis for comparison with other business activities in the Republic of Serbia. This study aims to analyze the failure factors of PT. XYZ in 2018 – 2020 in terms of time, cost, labor, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and quality based on the Success Project Factor (SPF). It includes 183 projects with the Non-Probability Sampling technique. The researcher uses fishbone and Pareto to identify problems. The results showed Schedule Performance Index (SPI) 1 indicated the project is in the late category, the Cost Performance Index (CPI) 1 indicated cost overrun, Safety Performance Index (SFPI) 0 indicated the K3 target could not be reached, the Client Satisfaction Index (CSI) = 34.03, indicated that it is in the dissatisfied category, then Productivity Coefficient Plan Realization, it meant the workforce was less productive. After the analysis of fishbone and Pareto, the data show that the highest cause was 13% due to lack of supervision, project cost aspects were 13% due to delays, HSE project aspect were 13% due to no K3 process before work begins, the quality aspect was 17% due to no training, and the labor aspect was 17% due to poor worker discipline.

Introduction: Lean sustainability has gained prominence in the health sector for operational and business advantages. However, understanding the link between lean and healthcare sustainability, especially in social and environmental aspects, remains limited. This study introduces a preliminary framework for measuring lean healthcare sustainability in hospitals. The framework aligns Critical Success Factors (CSFs) with sustainability objectives and business strategies to ensure successful and enduring lean deployment. Methods: The study was conducted among 52 Lean Agile Hospitals in Malaysia using a cross-sectional approach. The validated questionnaire was employed for data collection. A reliability test and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) were also performed to assess and validate the framework using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27. Results: The content validation was 0.9, which indicates that the instrument is sufficient to measure the research objective. The data screening test was performed to eliminate problem observation. The overall reliability value was over 0.830 which depicts data consistency and stability. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin exceeded 0.6, Bartlett’s test was under 0.001 and factor loading was between 0.507 to 0.948, thus indicating a significant correlation matrix among at least some of the variables. Therefore, the latent factors were significant to specific items of the research. Conclusion: It is concluded that important CSF is aligned with the strategic level influence of lean deployment in healthcare, which has a specific impact on certain sustainability performance. Thus, this paper proposed a generic preliminary framework to measure lean healthcare sustainability.

The purpose. To identify the key success factors in the development of the infrastructure of outpatient polyclinic institutions (OPPIs) that provide cardiac care. The conditions of their development based on the principles of public-private partnership (PPP) are taken into account. Materials and methods. The research was conducted according to the program based on general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, interpretation of scientific data, as well as systemic and structural-functional approaches. Results. Significant problems in OPPIs that provide cardiac care infrastructure organization and management were identified. The data obtained showed the need to take measures for financing, organization of a high-tech production process, implementation of modern economic mechanisms in their work are necessary. This determined the search of mechanisms for the joint functioning of the state and business, the development of PPP in health care. The main mechanisms of PPP functioning were highlighted, namely organizational-legal, financial-investment, technical-organizational aspects. The benefits of cooperation for the state and the private partner are determined. A conceptual model of the key factors for achieving success in the development of OPPIs infrastructure based on PPP principles has been developed. Their role in the activities of OPPIs is indicated. Conclusions. The model of key factors for achieving success in the modernization of OPPIs infrastructure proposed in the article is a promising direction in the development of medical establishments that provide cardiac care. PPP is a promising direction in the development of the infrastructure of health care institutions in Ukraine.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to probe experiences of entrepreneurs in the social and health care service provision. Design/methodology/approach – Information was collected regarding entrepreneurs’ views on the factors affecting the collaboration between public and private sectors. A sample of social and health care entrepreneurs was interviewed using open-ended questions. The interviews were transcribed and analysed using inductive content analysis. Findings – Three main categories of factors affecting the success of partnership were identified: the nature of partnership, business aspects and tension builders. Research limitations/implications – The research was undertaken in rural Finland and the sample consisted 13 entrepreneurs. The results must be considered as observations with more generalised conclusions. Practical implications – The results of this study support municipalities in their social and health care service strategy work and especially in consideration of how to also facilitate a fruitful public-private partnership (PPP)-framework, which will largely depend on mutual understanding and consensus. Originality/value – The reform of the social and health care system has raised intensive public debate throughout Europe. Key issues include the reorganising of social and health care processes as well as PPPs in provision of services. This study observes the views and experiences of private entrepreneurs and points out where some potential problems and solutions of social and health care PPPs are.

In this paper we attempt to analyze the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a key factor of Corporate Reputation and Public Health. We observe a reputation change of organization, where sustained success is less determined by what is said, usually through the mass media, but more by what is done, consistent performance and keeping the brand's promise. Corporate social responsibility describes a process in which corporations integrate social and environmental strategies into their business operations and connections with the stakeholders on a voluntary basis. Social responsibility of a company can be defined as the accountability that a company has towards its consumers, workers, other stakeholders and general corporate citizenship. Universal aim of CSR is the improvement of social standards, while maintaining profitability and performance of the company. Companies that engage in CSR have the ability while creating profit, to also further advance sustainability, environmental protection, social responsibility and consumer interest. Organizations today achieve a sustained competitive advantage in the long-term by implementation of ecological models and green technologies that the public perceives as important for better health and quality of life. Objective This systematic review aims to evaluate which applicant characteristics available to an otolaryngology selection committee are associated with future performance in residency or practice. Data Sources PubMed, Scopus, ERIC, Health Business, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection, and SocINDEX. Review Methods Study eligibility was performed by 2 independent investigators in accordance with the PRISMA protocol (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses). Data obtained from each article included research questions, study design, predictors, outcomes, statistical analysis, and results/findings. Study bias was assessed with the Quality in Prognosis Studies tool. Results The initial search identified 439 abstracts. Six articles fulfilled all inclusion and exclusion criteria. All studies were retrospective cohort studies (level 4). Overall, the studies yielded relatively few criteria that correlated with residency success, with generally conflicting results. Most studies were found to have a high risk of bias. Conclusion Previous resident selection research has lacked a theoretical background, thus predisposing this work to inconsistent results and high risk of bias. The included studies provide historical insight into the predictors and criteria (eg, outcomes) previously deemed pertinent by the otolaryngology field. Additional research is needed, possibly integrating aspects of personnel selection, to engage in an evidence-based approach to identify highly qualified candidates who will succeed as future otolaryngologists.

This article presents an overview of modern foreign and domestic scientific publications devoted to the study of psychological and psychosomatic characteristics of women with reproductive disorders, as well as psychological predictors and consequences of these problems. The most and least studied psychological aspects of reproductive health disorders are highlighted, research results are described, and the method of psychotherapeutic work with women is mentioned.Reproductive medicine has now achieved impressive success due to the revolutionary development of biotechnology. However, a significant number of women have to struggle unsuccessfully with infertility for many years, the social consequences of this are extremely significant for the family and society in general. Professional activity is an important component of personality development and determines psychological state, physical health, well-being and life satisfaction. The process of assimilation and implementation of professional activity is a holistic process of becoming a specialist, including internal and external means. Internal means include knowledge, skills, motivation, character, and other aspects, while external means include social regulators, materials, and informational means. Professional development leads to the achievement of professional maturity and level of professionalism. The development of professional motivation in university education plays an important role in the formation of future managers as professionals. In the article, the authors provide a systematization of the components of the motivation system at various stages of opting and professional training. A detailed study of the motives of educational and professional activity indicates common and different aspects for both stages. Learning motives include cognitive need, motivation to achieve success, interest in the process and results of learning. Motives for professional activity include prestige, material means, recognition, development, and self-realization. In particular, the motivation to achieve success is defined as a key motive for the professional development of future managers, organizing their behavior, influencing the goals and the choice of ways of achievement, promoting satisfaction with the choice of profession and self-realization. To determine the level of achievement motivation among students majoring in «Management» at Alfred Nobel University, an experimental study was conducted using the Mehrabian Achieving Tendency Scale (MATS). At the same time, it is evaluated which of these two motives dominates. 71 applicants - future managers - participated in the empirical study. To determine the main professional motives, the test «Motives for choosing a profession» was used. Based on the results of the analysis, the predominant motives for the applicants who obtain professional training in the specialty «Management» were determined. According to the respondents, the most important motivations for the profession were that the profession of a manager allows you to realize your abilities for managerial work; makes it possible to develop professional skills; makes it possible to benefit people; corresponds to the respondent’s abilities and is highly paid. As a result of the experiment, it was determined that applicants who choose to study in the «Management» specialty and have a dominant desire for success make a more conscious choice of a profession that matches their abilities. The conclusions can be used, firstly, to improve educational programs for training future managers in institutions of higher education in the context of filling them with educational components that will correspond to the motives for choosing a profession and develop the motivation to achieve in the acquirers – future managers of leaders. Secondly, the research findings will be useful in management and business, namely, in the personnel management system of organizations. The use of achievement motivation tests and «Profession Choice Motives» are proposed to evaluate candidates who have a diploma in the specialty «Management» or are still taking senior courses, as a tool to focus on more promising and motivated candidates.

The strategic role of banking as an intermediary institution manifests through its ability to gather and channel funds from the public to support economic activities, ultimately enhancing the stability of the country's economic structure. The importance of banking health in the fund collection process requires a sound condition and banking services that attract public interest. Bank health evaluation can be conducted through various methods, including the CAMEL method covering capital, asset quality, management, earnings, and liquidity, as well as the RGEC method encompassing Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital. Bank Sinarmas, as one of the public banks in Indonesia, has played a significant role in economic recovery through the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) and its success in maintaining the health of the banking sector. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach, utilizing literature review and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of this study indicate that the financial condition of PT Bank Sinarmas Tbk from 2019 to 2023 can be classified as generally “healthy”. However, in terms of Asset Quality and Management aspects, it falls into the "Fairly Healthy" category, while in terms of Profitability, specifically the Return on Asset (ROA) ratio, it is categorized as "Less Healthy." The findings are expected to serve as a guide for the company, assisting in maintaining a healthy financial state and improving areas that are less healthy to uphold public trust. The research contributes to academic literature, serving as a significant reference for the development of financial management knowledge, particularly in the analysis of financial statements. It is also envisioned as a foundation for further research with similar focuses. As guidance for future researchers, it is recommended to broaden the scope of research by involving other financial ratio indicators, following the latest methods in accordance with the regulatory framework of financial institution supervision in Indonesia.

Few areas of bioethical practice have been left unexamined, ranging from questions as to the sustainability of the discipline in its current form to the “expertise” of its practitioners; the legitimacy of bioethics in the realms of policymaking; its relationship to philosophy; the purchase of empirical and interdisciplinary method; the relationship of bioethics to the real world; bioethical understandings of the concept of “health” (and methods of attainment); its agenda, priorities, and inclusiveness right up to what might be the overarching question: “What is bioethics all about?” Unsurprisingly, these questions elicit varied responses. Scholars from various disciplines have critiqued fundamental tenets of the “ethics” business, albeit as claims of its “conservatism,” “corruption,” and its questionable “usefulness” suggest, not always with a charitable or constructive eye. Patient satisfaction is one of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of health care service delivery and clinical effectiveness. The information, education and communication aspects of nursing care are the major attributes of patient satisfaction and complement the quality assurance and determine the success of the health care system from a patient centric point of view. This study was aimed at assessing the patient satisfaction level towards selected aspects of nursing care services in surgical areas of a tertiary care hospital of central India using a tool developed in-house. It also explored the association of the patient satisfaction level with selected demographic variables of patients. A non-experimental cross-sectional prospective study design was adopted. Non-probabilistic pragmatic sampling technique was used to collect data from 200 patients. A standardised Structured Patient Satisfaction Rating Scale was used for data collection. Patient satisfaction was measured in terms of Information, Education and Communication aspects of nursing care services. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyses the data. Overall 89.5 percent patients were satisfied towards the selected aspects of nursing care services. A statistically significant association was found between clinical care setting, duration of hospital stay and occupation with patient satisfaction level. Innovative strategies like good practices for health care communication and soft skills workshop may be incorporated in the induction and in-service training module of nursing professionals which ultimately lead to the enhanced patient satisfaction and improvement in the quality of nursing care services.

Every business relies on its employees, and their attitude toward their job and the results they achieve directly impact the organization's stability and performance. To ensure that the organizational effectiveness process runs smoothly, motivating employees to participate actively is crucial. Without their cooperation and assistance, considerable energy may be wasted. In a competitive global environment, employee productivity is linked to several issues that can hinder an organization's success. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors that influence employees' productivity, determine if there is a connection between productivity elements and employee work, and evaluate how incentives affect employees at work and their productivity. The study involved selecting a sample of 116 individuals from different Saudi government agencies, including administrative personnel and managers. The data was gathered using survey questions and analyzed using several statistical techniques. The study results indicate that out of the five tested factors, four of them significantly influence productivity. These factors are health issues, stress, workplace environment, and personality traits. On the other hand, sleep deprivation was found to have no impact on productivity. Accordingly, employees in government organizations acknowledge that addressing health issues, reducing stress levels, improving the work environment, and developing positive personality traits are all critical aspects of enhancing the organization's productivity and achieving its objectives.

Design/methodology/approach The author analyses pre-pandemic working culture, impartial report findings, third-party research, and her deep understanding and domain expertise in human resources (HR) to guide the reader in identifying key components of an effective corporate culture during this fast-paced, disruptive era. The study provides background context and offers three main ways on how to successfully achieve this. Findings The findings from this study demonstrate three main ways in which HR leaders can enhance the working environment and how this can have multiple positive business outcomes. Driving and living core values from the most senior positions all the way through the workforce, changing values which are no longer fit for purpose, creating new workplace networking opportunities and recognising colleague contributions, especially during times of uncertainty, are all critical components of long-term culture success. The findings demonstrate how this is not only beneficial for a business but for the workforce too – helping retain important talent and also attracting new employees. Originality/value The study fulfils an identified need to analyse and inform on forward-looking corporate culture trends and challenges amid the pandemic.

Summary Objective: Information systems integration is hard, especially when semantic and business process interoperability requirements need to be met. To succeed, a unified methodology, approaching different aspects of systems architecture such as business, information, computational, engineering and technology viewpoints, has to be considered. The paper contributes with an analysis and demonstration on how the HL7 standard set can support health information systems integration. Methods: Based on the Health Information Systems Development Framework (HIS-DF), common architectural models for HIS integration are analyzed. The framework is a standard-based, consistent, comprehensive, customizable, scalable methodology that supports the design of semantically interoperable health information systems and components. Results: Three main architectural models for system integration are analyzed: the point to point interface, the messages server and the mediator models. Point to point interface and messages server models are completely supported by traditional HL7 version 2 and version 3 messaging. The HL7 v3 standard specification, combined with service-oriented, model-driven approaches provided by HIS-DF, makes the mediator model possible. The different integration scenarios are illustrated by describing a proof-of-concept implementation of an integrated public health surveil-lance system based on Enterprise Java Beans technology. Conclusion: Selecting the appropriate integration architecture is a fundamental issue of any software development project. HIS-DF provides a unique methodological approach guiding the development of healthcare integration projects. The mediator model – offered by the HIS-DF and supported in HL7 v3 artifacts – is the more promising one promoting the development of open, reusable, flexible, semantically interoperable, platform-independent, service-oriented and standard-based health information systems.

In this meeting-house metaphor, floor is family, roof is culture, house-posts represent physical, mental, spiritual and sociodemographic health and well-being, with surroundings of environment, time and context.SettingInterviews of BBM members conducted in South Auckland, New Zealand, 2020.Participants22 interviewees (50% female) aged 24–60 years of mixed Pacific and Māori ethnicities with a mixture of regular members, attendees of the programme for those morbidly obese and trainers.ResultsTwo researchers independently coded data with adjudication and kappa=0.61 between coders. Participants identified the interactive holistic nature of health and well-being. As well as physical, mental and spiritual benefits, BBM helped many reconnect with both their family and their culture.ConclusionsBBM’s primary aim is weight-loss motivation. Many weight loss studies provide programmes to improve physical exercise and nutrition, but seldom address sustainability and other core factors such as mental health. Programmes are often designed by researchers or authorities. BBM is a community-embedded intervention, with no reliance external authorities for its ongoing implementation. It addresses many factors impacting participants’ lives and social determinants of health as well as its core business of exercise and diet change. Our results indicate that BBM’s holistic approach and responsiveness to perceived community needs may contribute to its sustained success.

It is important for a modern company to qualitatively form a list of personal priority areas for improvement, based on its own strengths, financial capabilities and available resources. It is obvious that today logistics plays a huge role in our lives and the environmental impact of its activities is very serious as it involves a huge number of enterprises, different companies, vehicles and customers. For a long time, people simply did not pay enough attention to the gradual process of environmental pollution and climate change. It is not surprising at all that today the effective concept of sustainable development has gained special popularity, as it wishes that both present and future generations can not only live in a healthy environment with an adequate standard of living, but also be able to satisfy all their possible needs and ambitions, using the available resources of the Earth with maximum rationality, respect and efficiency. The most effective way to follow this concept is the creation and gradual implementation of «green» business strategies. The development of a company in this direction can bring important benefits to it, and this can be best demonstrated on the example of the «Nova Poshta» company.

The main purpose of this article is to examine how a new medical technology – the operating room- resulted in the establishment of a model of private clinics in late 19th – century Barcelona. This research explains that this kind of private medical care happened in an open medical market and successfully met a growing demand. Since its origins in the 1880s, private surgery clinics rose to more than 50 in just half-a-century. Here, several business strategies put at work by those surgeons-entrepreneurs are considered, especially those related to publicity and the search of patients/customers. Several aspects played a paramount role in that success: medical technology, domestic comfort, and surgical efficacy. In a context where medical care delivered at hospital was provided by the city-state or the local bourgeoisie as a part of the medieval model of charity, a potential customer for the private surgery clinics was formed by the urban, popular and working classes through the model of mutual aid societies and health insurance companies. Moreover, private clinics also showed how the process of medical specialization was configured and what kind of relationships surgeons-entrepreneurs established with general practitioners to attract their patients. Here, medical directories and medical journals reveal as a useful source of information.

One way to support sustainable development is to put concern on women empowerment. The role of women in a society is essential, yet often treated unfairly. This study focuses on looking at the aspects that can determine the success of entrepreneurship as a form of women entrepreneurship. Additionally, the effect of women entrepreneurship on social and economic well-being is also investigated. The study took a quantitative approach and employed a survey method on a total of 406 members of Setia Bhakti Wanita cooperative in Indonesia. STATA 14 statistical software was used to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that access to micro-loans has the highest impact on women entrepreneurship (path coefficient 0.43), followed by social environment support (path coefficient 0.32), and entrepreneurial education (path coefficient 0.13). Furthermore, women entrepreneurs have a more favorable impact on economic well-being (path coefficient 0.93), as evidenced by better access to health service, than social well-being (path coefficient 0.89) that is shown from better social relationship with the nearest community. This study offers solid evidence-based recommendations for women’s empowerment in Indonesia using proper entrepreneur organization channels. In many health systems in European countries, SPA services are currently part of or a supplement to health care. Owingto their natural healing resources and long-standing traditions, the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic are important European SPA countries. In both countries, SPA tourism is also one of the most important types of tourism, and with regard to its evaluation according to the number of overnight stays and income, it constitutes a significant share of the structure of the tourism industry. One of the greatest challenges for SPA businesses was the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused travel restrictions, business closures, and a decrease in demand and revenue. The impact of the pandemic on SPA businesses in the studied countries has not yet been examined in detail. Accordingly, the aim of the present study is to evaluate the innovative activities of SPA companies in Slovakia and the Czech Republic in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research sample consists of 122 SPA enterprises from both republics. Based on the results of previous research, innovation is generally perceived as an important element in the development of society, crisis management, increasing competitiveness and commercial success. The main research method for identifying and classifying the types of innovations and innovation capabilities implemented in SPA enterprises was a questionnaire survey. The results of the conducted research revealed that the origin of SPA businesses does not affect the country or how people perceive trends. The connections between the types of introduced innovations and some benefits from the introduction of innovations as well as the barriers affecting the introduction of innovations were confirmed. It follows, for example, that companies that invest in innovation processes can improve their performance and the competitiveness of their team and reduce their costs for production or service provision. From the analysis of factors related to the introduction of innovations, it emerged that the most important factors are those that have a direct impact on economic results and the competitive advantage of businesses. On the other hand, those factors related to cultural, environmental or technical aspects of innovation are less important. Despite repeated calls, not all SPA companies operating in the SPA industry in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic participated.

Purpose Pharmaceutical industry involves highly specialized business processes where strong research and development focus along with market differentiation and localization are the deciders of success. This has led to evolution of segments and complexities in supply chain. This paper aims to focus on segmental differences in supply chain performance of Indian Pharmaceutical firms. Design/methodology/approach This paper measures supply chain performance of select segmental players of the pharmaceutical industry using financial metrics and supply chain operations reference (SCOR) key performance indicators through a five-year timeline. The best performance results are compared across the segments to identify unique performance features, if any. The sample results are validated through hypothesis testing methodology. Findings This paper has evidenced that the innovators segment is performing better in cash-to-cash cycle time and supply chain working capital productivity, whereas generics segment is doing better in distribution cost efficiency and total cost to serve aspects. Research limitations/implications The paper is based on historical financial data of firms and measures the firm focused supply chain performance. The results may not be generalized in a global context but serve as a motivator for other researchers to take similar studies. The paper may further be analyzed with primary data of the firms to understand the segmental difference in customer focus supply chain performance measures. Practical implications This paper has brought out important segmental supply chain performance features of the Indian pharmaceutical firms and identified segment-specific problems by integrating SCOR KPIs and financial metrics. Originality/value This paper has integrated both SCOR KPIs and financial metrics to provide unique insights on segmental differences in the performance behavior of pharmaceutical supply chain.

Hence, it leads to problem statements questioning: (1) the eligibility of matters of facts did not meet UK IP Law; (2) the standard for evidence towards invention using Artificial Intelligence does not conform with UK IP Law; (3) Liability in AI patent infringement is not subsistent in UK IP Law; and (4) AI’s compliance is not subject for responsibility under creativity and non-obviousness criteria. Methodology: The Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) Agreement promotes the public welfare and safety under constitutional laws. India, as a member, is obliged to comply with the standard of evidence in patentability under World Trade Organization (WTO). The study employs comparative contextual assessment using Novartis’ case as trial proceedings for disclosing theoretical framework vital to socio-legal integration of WTO principles. Findings: The World Trade Organization is a committee responsible to advocate business law. Invention for marketability of patent product has its own complexed policy to comply for acceptance of an Intellectual Property creation. Constitutional law is designed to be made comparable with other countries promoting monetary success of their nation exhibiting economic progress in industrial and technological advancements. Hence, authorless works marking artificial intelligence towards public health and safety must be done in lack of any dedication to human connections resulting to immersion of their “new” product as a work of an art making non-obviousness skills to people as part of common logic and interests, hence, a product of convenience. Recommendations: WTO is an intergovernmental task force important to implement constitutional laws comparable to other countries resulting to theory integration of socio-legal aspects based on trade-related principles. Hence, the advocacy of business ethics is a highly acknowledged means of making the lives of people to be technologically advanced with convenience, thus, inventions should be made affordable for public access.

Abstract:
In today's economic environment, network production and trading entities of large enterprises play an extremely important role, being key market participants and strategic figures in the formation of the country's economic system. In Ukraine, the issue of managing networked production and trade entities is becoming especially relevant, given the constant transformations in the economic and business environment. Research in the system of management of network entities of large business in Ukraine on the example of the EVA chain of stores is a relevant and promising area of scientific research. This article is aimed at studying the main aspects of management and operation of network enterprises, in particular, their development strategies, optimization of logistics processes, partnerships and introduction of innovative technologies. The EVA chain of stores in Ukraine is known for its wide range of health and beauty products that meet current market trends. The article analyzes in detail the activities of this chain, its strategies of interaction with consumers, partners and suppliers. The key points of its marketing strategy, including customer focus, competitiveness, cooperation and product availability, are considered. Based on the research, the article concludes that it is necessary to develop effective strategies for managing networked production and trading entities in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the aspects that will help enterprises to adapt to changes in the economic environment and ensure the stable development of the Ukrainian economy. One of the key tasks is to find new strategies for customer relations that will help increase competitiveness in the market and improve customer satisfaction. Another important aspect is the improvement of logistics processes, which will optimize costs and increase the efficiency of goods supply. The introduction of innovative technologies, such as online platforms for ordering goods and mobile applications for convenient shopping, may be the key to EVA's success in the Ukrainian market. Highlighting the experience of EVA can serve as a basis for further research in the field of management of networked production and trading entities and contribute to the development of effective strategies for enterprises in this industry in Ukraine.
