Abstract:
In the article devoted to the famous bibliographer and local historian Boris Timofeevich Utkin (31.07.1923—21.09.1996), his contribution to the development of Russian bibliographic thought, bibliographic technologies, compilation work, to the popularization of bibliographic work, to the study of the history of libraries of the Urals is considered. Utkin’s school, which emerged in the 1970s, is still active. The methodology of bibliography of local history documents developed by him is used by specialists in creating branch and subject bibliographic resources. B.T. Utkin became the first historian of librarianship in the Urals. Thanks to his publications a number of modern researchers appeared, new facts and events were found, unknown names of librarians-activists were discovered. B.T. Utkin’s popularizing activity in the field of bibliography has no precedents. In the book “Amusing Bibliography”, written together with I.G. Morgenstern, a multidimensional professional image of the bibliographer is presented. The memory of the scientist and practitioner is preserved in the libraries of the region and the Chelyabinsk State Institute of Culture.

Abstract:
The provision of bibliographic resources for individual branches of science and / or practical activity is traditional and now it is one of the most developed areas of bibliography. The library and information sphere, including library, bibliographic and scientific information activities and the scientific disciplines that study them needs (library and information sciences) it as well. These areas are characterized by the proximity and significant concurrency of goals, objects, processes, methods, and results of activities. At present, their further integration, transformation of traditional libraries (first of all, scientific ones) into library and information centers is underway. The bibliography of library and information science and practice includes: 1) bibliography of literature on history, theory, methodology, organization, methodology and technology of these activities, 2) bibliography of publications and electronic resources of library and information institutions; for bibliography as such bibliography of bibliography is also of particular importance, 3) bio-bibliography of branch leaders (polybiobibliographic and monobibiographic (personal) resources).Since the 1940s the Russian State Library is the main center of the current bibliographic registration of literature on librarianship and bibliography (until 2015 – the release of current indexes, since 1989 – the formation of a thematic abstract bibliographic database). The library prepared many printed retrospective indexes and lists on the problems of library and bibliographic science and practice, which creation not only its bibliographic, but also research, methodical and production structural units took active part in.In the XXI century, the Library activities in the field of retrospective branch bibliography are limited to the creation of a series of indexes “Bibliography. Bibliographic science”, reflecting the scientifically significant array of native bibliographic literature in Russian since 1959. The main attention is paid to bibliographic registration of publications and electronic resources of the Library and about it, as well as works of its staff.Electronic catalogs and bibliographic indexes are being created that take into account the products of libraries of the Russian Federation, as well as countries – the former Soviet republics. Polybiobibliographic and personal indexes are being prepared.

Abstract:
The interdisciplinary character of the science of language causes great difficulties in bibliographic support in this field. The object of bibliographing in linguistics is not only literature on the language, but also a variety of linguistic resources, which represent a special object to study a branch of linguistics - lexicography. Bibliography of linguistics is the least studied field by specialists among humanitarian bibliographic complexes. The paper first studied the array of domestic bibliographic sources for more than 150 years; the most significant of them are shown. The subject of research is national bibliographic resources in the linguistics field. The objective is to characterize the historical development of the linguistic bibliography in Russia. To achieve this goal we had to solve a number of tasks: identify existing sources for ongoing historical research; to trace the history of forming bibliographic sources, bibliography of bibliographies of linguistics; to form and analyze the body of bibliographic materials; to characterize the problematic areas in the bibliographic software of linguistics. Using the bibliometric analysis it was studied an array of bibliographic products published between 1860 and 2013, the dynamics of bibliographic resources formation was determined, the degree of bibliographic support of some topics and issues in linguistic science and prior directions of their development were revealed. The main results of the study should be considered: 1. The nuclear of fundamental indices on general and applied linguistics is singled out in analyzed literature sources covering the period 1918-1977, as well as in Slavic linguistics for 1825-1981. The complex of current and retrospective bibliographic products was formed and replenished in the country in 1963-1988. 2. The largest share of bibliographic sources in linguistics is presented by book and article bibliography (over 70%), many of which remain bibliographically unrecorded and unused. 3. The following subject areas of linguistics are considered to be bibliographically supported: inter-linguistics, culture of speech and language norms, lexicography, linguistic geography, linguistics regional geography, onomastics. 4. An obvious need to continue the index or database of bibliographic aids in the field of linguistics over the past 50 years is marked. 5. Further development of the linguistics bibliography is impossible to imagine without creating an electronic guide on the bibliographic resources of linguistics, which would reflect the diversity of bibliographical resources and provide their rich information potential for professionals and remote users

The article is devoted to the study of the general aspects of bibliographic activity in the information society. At the same time, the essence of bibliography is explained from a terminological, scientifictheoretical, methodological and conceptual point of view. The general interpretation of bibliography in this regard explains two main conceptual directions: bibliographers and documentarians. As a result of research in this area, it becomes clear that bibliography as a whole is a field of human activity and is considered as a system.

Abstract:
One of the priority areas of the research activity of the Russian State Library (RSL), in particular its scientific bibliographic activity, is currently the study “Information and bibliographic activity of Russian libraries (theoretical and practical aspects)”. Relevance of the research is caused by the fact that information and bibliographic activity refers to the main activities of libraries of various types and kinds. Libraries create bibliographic information for wide distribution, provide bibliographic services to their readers (subscribers). Bibliographic information is also used in various particular library processes (acquisition, library and information services, organization of mass events, etc.). The article considers the results of the analysis of the R&D object — bibliographic (information and bibliographic) activity of libraries as a system object (essence, boundaries, objects and subjects of activity, internal structure, etc.). The analysis was carried out on the basis of theoretical concepts developed by the domestic bibliography science, as well as the modern terminological system of the library and information sphere, fixed in national standards. The author identified and analysed the main directions of bibliographic activity in the library (library bibliography): bibliographic processing of library collections (library bibliographic cataloguing); formation of reference and bibliographic tool; creation of bibliographic resources and products of “non-catalogue” type (indexes, lists, reviews, etc.); bibliographic service; bibliographic education; scientific and methodological activities in the field of bibliography.

Review of the joint monograph “Essays on bibliographic activity of the Russian State Library: A monograph” / Russian State Library ; ed. by G. L. Levin. Moscow : Pashkov dom, 2022. 734 p.The author reviews the joint monograph by the leading specialists of the Russian State Library (RSL). The article is publishedon the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the reference and information office as the division of the library of State Rumyantsev Museum in December 1918. The office rendered all types of bibliographic user services (e. g. address, subject, specifying bibliographic references). The reviewed monograph covers all the main fields of RSL’s bibliographic activity: development of reference library collection, reference and information services, building of all the main types of bibliographic directories, bibliographical information service in culture and arts, making of bibliographical indices of Russian emigration literature, research in theory of bibliography, etc. The choice of RSL bibliographic activity as the main object of study makes an appropriate contribution to the development of Russian theory of bibliography. The reviewer regards intensification of research activities of larger libraries (e. g. national) as an attribute of the modern theory of bibliography. The joint monograph is one of few large-scale research works covering the full range of the national library's bibliographic activities of the last century; therefore, it is of high value.

Abstract:
In light of the global return of tribalism, racism, nationalism, and religious hypocrisy to power’s center stage, it is worth returning to the question of the relevance of bibliography. It is a time when, at least at the seats of power in the United States and some other places, books seem to have become almost meaningless. Bibliographic pioneer D.F. McKenzie’s strategy was not to constrain bibliography in self-defense, but to expand it, to go on the offense. What is our course? This essay explores bibliography’s past in order to suggest ways in which it can gain from an engagement with the methods and motivating concerns of Indigenous studies. The study of books has often functioned within a colonialist set of assumptions about its means and its ends, but at the same time, having been at times in something of a marginalized position themselves in their professions, its practitioners have developed unique tools, passions, and intellectual focuses with decolonial potential. That unusual “spirit”, in dialogue with Native people and Indigenous ideas — about media, about what constitutes a “process”, and about the historical and political meanings of recorded forms — may be key to transforming the imagination of the study of books and to enriching its place in the world.

Abstract:
In recent times marked by the offensive and largescale advancement of computer technol-ogy numerous libraries, scientific and educational centers in the world are creating their own extensive databases of literary and bibliographic texts. Facing such databases the close reading method designed to work with specific texts would seem to lose its meaning. The Italian sociolo-gist and literary critic Franco Moretti became the main critic of the close reading. He presented his ideas in the book «Distant Reading». This book can be viewed as a program to update the methodology of studying world literature. Moretti believes that the world literature should be studied not by looking at the details, but by examining it from a long distance: studying hudreds and thousands of texts. He suggest to use the Digital Humanities (DH) methods, i.e. to ap-ply digital (computer) methods in the humanities. To show the reasons for the survival of certain types of texts, Moretti compares literary processes with biological ones and draws an anology between natural selection and reader selection. Moretti’s predecessor, who first used quantitative methods in literary studies and saw common ground between literary and biological processes, was the author of the fundamental monograph “Methodology of an exact study of literature” B. I. Yarkho (18891942).Moretti’s book “Distant Reading” shatters stereotypes of the bibliographic environment. It is directed no to the study of close (slow) reading, but to the study of the entire world docmentary flow. This approach opens the way to the use of quantitative methods in the study of world bibliography. A new research strategy “exact study of bibliography” will be formed as part of digital and automated text processing.

Abstract:
In the year of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, the authors consider the activity of the V.I. Lenin State Library of the USSR (GBL) on preparation and release of bibliographic publications during the Great Patriotic War. This topic was covered in the specialized literature briefly and fragmentally (with the exception of work in the field of recommendation bibliography). The aim of the article is to fill in the existing gaps in the study of this area of GBL activity during the war.In the pre-war years, the GBL transformed into one of the leading bibliographic centres of the country — both reference and bibliographing. Both directions were mainly concentrated in the Scientific Bibliographic Department, where at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s preparation of bibliographic publications was structurally distinguished. With the beginning of the war, the GBL reorganized its work in accordance with the conditions and tasks of wartime. The amount of bibliographic work in the first months of the war was significantly reduced. Publishing activities, including the production of bibliographic publications, ceased and resumed in the second half of 1942. Recommendation indexes and lists on actual subjects were the main type of bibliographic materials created and published by the GBL during the war years. The article highlights the activities of two leading bibliographic departments of the GBL during this period: the Scientific Bibliographic Department and the Military Department. There are two areas of activity of the Scientific Bibliographic Department: general and scientific-auxiliary bibliography and recommendation bibliography. During the Great Patriotic War, the library produced mainly reference manuals, as well as also prepared several scientific publications. The authors present employees of both departments who have made the most significant contribution to the preparation of bibliographic publications. In addition, the article notes several bibliographic publications created in other structural divisions.

The aim of the article is to analyse the experience of visualising the national bibliography data as a method of studying the documentary flow of the country’s publishing products, and as a means of imaging publishing industry statistics (using the example of Sweden). Research methods. Achieving the set goal is carried out using a system of general scientific and special methods: theoretical (analysis, synthesis, generalisation, etc.), empirical (description), review and analytical, comparative, statistical, etc.). The methodological basis of the study are general scientific principles of objectivity, complexity, continuity and comprehensiveness. From the standpoint of scientific methodology, the issue is studied on the system approach basis. Scientific novelty. The conducted analysis of the project in data visualisation of the national bibliography of Sweden presents an original approach to imaging some certain bibliographic data set, studying the documentary flow of publishing products, conducting publishing statistics, and informing users more widely in an accessible form. Main conclusions. The national bibliography of Sweden presents current and quality statistics data on the country’s publishing products. Implemented by the Royal Library of Sweden, the project in bibliographic data visualisation shows that the national bibliography, as an authoritative and transparent indicator of tendencies in Swedish book publishing, makes it possible not only to analyse the products publication, but also to clearly and definitely visualise and illustrate it. Visualisation makes it possible to identify certain relationships in the set of information about new publications, to display the distribution of data, as well as composition and comparison. The project demonstrates the ability of the Royal Library of Sweden, as a national bibliographic agency, to effectively and efficiently adapt to the modern media-landscape, and respond to the current demands of time and the users’ needs. Mastering the Swedish experience in data visualisation can contribute to improving the Ukrainian bibliographic practice and transformation of the national bibliography of Ukraine in the digital environment.

On the basis of the correspondence, an attempt was made to highlight the mutual interest of Y. Mezhenko, which laid the foundations of modern Ukrainian bibliography and his colleague by profession F. Maksymenko in the context of the Ukrainian bibliography and its history. The Evolution of views on the tasks of the Ukrainian bibliography at a distance of time during the long period of communication in the 1940s – 1960s is considered. The study addresses the issues and problems of the Ukrainian bibliography, which were of great concern to both prominent Ukrainian bibliographers at the time. This paper intends to describe the environment in which Ukrainian bibliographers had to live and explain the level of scientific freedom in the USSR as well as to partially present their characters and the realities of their existence. In order to achieve this, a descriptive method is generally employed Historical principles are also especially emphasized. As we can see, even in difficult times of Soviet totalitarianism, issues of Ukrainian bibliography in the correspondence of Y. Mezhenko and F. Maksimenko occupy a leading position. In spite of remote communication and constant professional workload, both colleagues in the profession managed to keep track of all the news in the bibliography not only in Ukraine but also in the USSR and abroad. INFORMATION RESOURCES OF THE NATIONAL LIBRARY AS A SOURCE FOR THE STUDY OF THE ELECTRONIC BOOK MARKET IN POLANDThe aim of the article is to present publications and databases based on legal deposit copies sent to the National Library as potential sources for the study of books on electronic media. The authors carry out a critical analysis of, above all, the statistics provided by Ruch Wydawniczy w Liczbach [Polish Publishing in Figures] 2001–2014 as well as inventories making up the national bibliography system, Bibliografia Dokumentów Elektronicznych [Bibliography of Electronic Documents] 2001–2015 and Bibliografia Dokumentów Dźwiękowych [Bibliography of Sound Documents] 2009–2011. The data obtained as a result of the analysis have been confronted with information contained in the basic component of the national bibliography system — Przewodnik Bibliograficzny [Bibliographic Guide]. The analysis has demonstrated that the statistics provided by the National Library’s publications are not useful to the study of the electronic book market owing to the fact that the data overlook the aspect of the medium. The analysis has also shown that the bibliographic information about the current production of e-books and audiobooks is incomplete. Drawing on the results of the analysis, the authors have concluded that the incompleteness of the National Library’s sources stems partly from the methodology used in their compilation and partly from problems with obtaining legal deposit copies from publishers. In addition, other National Library resources — the main catalogue, digital repository or e-ISBN service — do not, in their present form, constitute alternative sources of information about electronic books published in Poland.

Bibliography is one of the main areas in the range of scientific specialties of the Higher Attestation Commission in section 5.10 “Art History and Cultural Studies”, specialty 5.4.10 “Library Science, Bibliography and Bibliology”. The article is devoted to the problem of reflecting bibliographic subjects in the scientific activities of the central libraries of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to consider the problems of creating bibliographic resources, conducting applied scientific research on bibliographic topics and how trends in the development of bibliographic activities of libraries are presented in the publications of specialists. The author concludes that not only conducting bibliographic research itself, but also creating bibliographic resources of various types and genres is scientific work, and libraries rightfully account for their scientific activities by their creation.By carrying out activities to create bibliographic resources, libraries solve historical and cultural problems: preserving the cultural, historical and scientific heritage of the peoples of Russia through bibliography.Research activities to study systems for the formation of bibliographic resources in libraries of different types and for bibliographic services to different categories of users are actually bibliographic studies, they are aimed at improving bibliographic activities themselves. By conducting such research, bibliographers determine the prospects for the development of their activities.

Abstract:
Valery P. Leonov proposed an original approach, opening prospects for the development of bibliographic studies in the digital age. The book's title conceptualizes and designates a new research program. The poetics of the bibliography is more than a theory of fine literature. It is understood as cultural-historical discipline combining information and humanistic functions of books. As a result of the very thorough analysis of the works on history and theory of literature, he concludes that the poetics should be understood as an art of bibliography. Leonov’s poetics of bibliography reveals the cultural and anthropological value of reading and writing, restores the high status of printed books. The library is seen as an important institution of socialization and humanization. The relevance and significance of the book are emphasized. V. Leonov has compiled the massive array of historical sources and current publications that modern bibliographers should get familiar with. The study findings may apply to developing new education courses in bibliography. The book will be of interest to professionals and the wide audience.

Abstract:
This article aimed to investigate the bibliography of the Study of Brazilian Problems (PBS) discipline at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) between 1971 and 1984. It was used primary and secondary sources, which unveiled the theoretical corpus that supported BPS teaching at UFPR. Some methodological elements of Cultural History were mobilized based on the understanding that individuals and groups grasp the social world and share it in a particular way, producing strategies and practices (political, social and educational) (Chartier 2002). Finally, the analysis revealed that BPS’ teaching programs were based on a bibliographic diversity, marked by books that were aligned with the Doctrine of the National Security and Development (DNSD), but which appeared alongside the works of some anti-regime authors. And that bibliographic focused on national problems denoted adherence to a larger DNSD policy aimed at encouraging the participation of university youth in the national political and economic plan. Abstract:
The authors consider the possibilities of popular (recommendation) online bibliography in promoting young people’s reading. Basing on the analysis of the modern socio-cultural situation characterized by the rapid growth of digital interaction, the article raises the problem of fast and qualitative orientation in the increasing flow of information. The authors conclude that the real tool of information and bibliographic search for everyone can be online electronic bibliographic resources of libraries. There is insufficient information on the use of these resources by modern young people. There was conducted study in 2018 to obtain data on reader preferences and the bibliographic sources to which they mainly refer. Students of the Moscow City Pedagogical University attended it. The sample group consisted of 43 people. The authors assumed that modern young people are focused primarily on obtaining information on the Internet, while they have a need for competent assistance to find and select the right publications. Respondents got the questionnaire compiled of 13 questions. The processing of the survey results consisted of their qualitative and quantitative analysis. In accordance with the set tasks, the study was carried out in the following areas: analysis of sources of information about books and publications used by modern youth, study of inquiries to information resources of libraries, identification of satisfaction with the quality of bibliographic information. The results of the study showed that the respondents prefer to find complete, accessible and up-to-date information about books and publications, as well as the publications themselves, on the Internet. The most valuable and preferred is the bibliographic information provided in electronic form. At the same time, many respondents are not satisfied with their own search for the necessary and high-quality publications both in the libraries and on the Internet. The authors present the possibilities of network resources of popular (recommendation) bibliography as a navigator in fast and efficient search and selection of the necessary publications.

Abstract:
The review of the monograph of the Doctor of Philology N.D. Kochetkova “Dedications in Russian publications of the 18 century: research, texts, bibliographic index” (Moscow; St. Petersburg, 2020) is presented. The content of this scientific work, which is important both for the history of Russian literature of the 18 century, and for bibliography, book studies and related humanities, is revealed. It is noted that the dedications reflect the most diverse aspects of the life of writers of the Enlightenment era: from client-patronage relations with government officials to friendships and family unions. This fact makes them an important source in historical and cultural research. The monograph analyzes dedications to various recipients: members of the royal family, dignitaries, heads of educational institutions, representatives of the clergy, women, friends, relatives, scientists and writers. An important component of the monograph is a detailed index of dedications in publications of the 18 century, including about 1780 items. It is a contribution to the bibliography of the Russian book of the 18 century and creates prospects for further research of dedications within the framework of literary studies, cultural history, and book studies. It is concluded that the monograph by N.D. Kochetkova will be a reference book for specialists studying Russian in the 18 century.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to validate the usefulness of resource description and access (RDA) from user perspectives by implementing an RDA-based bibliographic retrieval system, and comparing it against two retrieval systems. Design/methodology/approach – Surveys and interviews were conducted to gather responses from 20 subjects who used the systems. Usability was measured according to the following metrics: search usefulness from search process and results; search efficiency, measured in time and the number of steps involved; general satisfaction for search results and process, and for information need; satisfaction for search functionalities, with five sub-measures (usability of functions of search tool, appropriateness of search results, usability of additional information, usability of associative relations, and appropriateness of search categories); and system convenience in terms of understandability and ease. Findings – The survey results indicate that all but the satisfaction for appropriateness of search categories showed significant differences between the systems. The interviews show that the RDA system received from the subjects a more positive evaluation compared to the counterpart systems, in search usefulness, search efficiency, general search satisfaction, satisfaction for search functionalities. Practical implications – Though a few organizations such as the Library of Congress in the USA have implemented RDA, no such endeavors have been undertaken in the context of Korean bibliography, and especially for the systematic validation of usability of such a system from user perspectives. Originality/value – This is the first published study that validates the usefulness perceived by users of RDA in the context of Korean bibliography.

Abstract:
А high theoretical and methodological level of bibliography and the validity of its object, subject and research methods were ascertained. The main social functions of bibliographic information were determined — namely search, communicative and evaluative. It was indicated that they are projections of the philosophical categories of the General, the Special, and the Individual onto the bibliography. Differences in the definition of the term "bibliometry" by modern specialists, which indicates the need to improve the scientific level of bibliometric studies, were examined. It was proposed to study the co-evolution of bibliography and bibliometry in the aspect of involving the theoretical base of bibliography in determining the social functions of bibliometry. It was found that these are the functions of scientific declaration, structural analysis and scientometric function. In bibliometry, their analogs are search, communication, and evaluation functions, respectively. It was noted that the triad of social functions of bibliometric information should be considered both from theoretical and methodological positions, and in the applied aspect. Their scientific value is undoubted, since a certain set of functions increases the role and status of bibliometry in the system of social communications. The bibliometric profiles of researchers created and accumulated in the international scientometric platforms Google Scholar, Scopus and Web of Science are tools for the practical use of the public functions of bibliometric information for the needs of science and education. It was concluded that it is advisable to implement a national project to consolidate bibliometric information from the aforementioned scientometric platforms on the basis of the information-analytical system "ibliometrics of Ukrainian Science" created in the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.

Abstract:
It is noted that nowadays there is no unanimous opinion among bibliographers regarding the object of bibliography. It is justified that the existing approaches do not correspond to the realities of the new communication environment. It is proposed to define book communication as an object of bibliography, which is a dynamic, protean, non-linear, multi-level system of interaction between the author and the reader with the help of a book and is carried out on both synchronous and diachronic levels and covers social institutions related to being books that transform in time. In a generalized form, book communication consists of the following levels, which are certainly historical: 1) the real world — the author; 2) author — own subjectivity; 3) text — cultural and historical context; 4) communicative mediators (book publishing institute) — text; 5) book — cultural and historical context; 6) communicative mediators (institute of book distribution and book preservation) — book; 7) book — reader; 8) author — reader; 9) reader — social memory; 10) the reader — own subjectivity; 11) reader — reader. It is concluded that it is on the study of these levels that bibliography should focus its attention, if it claims a holistic theoretical view of those types of activities that are related to the functioning of the book in society. Undoubtedly, the list of levels can be expanded. Bibliographic research should be carried out at an interdisciplinary level. Only under such conditions can bibliography claim to correspond to the new post-non-classical stage of the development of science, choosing complex self-developing systems as its object.

Abstract:
From the past half of a century, identification of the relevant documents is deemed an active area of research due to the rapid increase of data on the web. The traditional models to retrieve relevant documents are based on bibliographic information such as Bibliographic coupling, Co-citations, and Direct citations. However, in the recent past, the scientific community has started to employ textual features to improve existing models’ accuracy. In our previous study, we found that analysis of citations at a deep level (i.e., content level) can play a paramount role in finding more relevant documents than surface level (i.e., just bibliography details). We found that cited and citing papers have a high degree of relevancy when in-text citations frequency of the cited paper is more than five times in the citing paper’s text. This paper is an extension of our previous study in terms of its evaluation of a comprehensive dataset. Moreover, the study results are also compared with other state-of-the-art approaches i.e., content, metadata, and bibliography. For evaluation, a user study is conducted on selected papers from 1,200 documents (comprise about 16,000 references) of an online journal, Journal of Computer Science (J.UCS). The evaluation results indicate that in-text citation frequency has attained higher precision in finding relevant papers than other state-of-the-art techniques such as content, bibliographic coupling, and metadata-based techniques. The use of in-text citation may help in enhancing the quality of existing information systems and digital libraries. Further, more sophisticated measure may be redefined be considering the use of in-text citations.

Abstract:
Ectopic pregnancy is a condition in which the fertilized egg implants and begins to grow outside the uterus, usually in one of the fallopian tubes. Currently, with the advancement of science, the diagnosis can be made within the first weeks of evolution, after fertilization, identifying the gestational sac in the cervix using ultrasound techniques that seek to implement a measured treatment that does not affect the fertility of the the patient. The objective of the research consists of analysis of the diagnosis and management of cervical ectopic pregnancies in Ecuador, through the study of cases described in the bibliography. The type of research is of a descriptive bibliographic nature, because it seeks to identify the diagnostic tools and clinical criteria described, as well as risk factors described in the bibliography. There are clinical criteria that help detect a cervical ectopic pregnancy such as intense abdominal and pelvic pain, abundant vaginal bleeding, hemorrhages and sensitivity in the area near the cervix. Among the treatment options that exist are medications such as methotrexate or some others that inhibit embryonic growth. In Ecuador this problem is growing and is due to the absence of knowledge about the malformation and the lack of a protocol for its management and resolution, given that there is no established order in how to treat patients with this pathology, causing medical care slows down and generates greater complications

Abstract:
The bibliography presents the list of publications by Piotr Flin (1945–2018), an astronomer and exact sciences historian. This study presents a list of two hundred and fifty (including two hundred and forty-three separate) publications of the late Piotr Flin and a list of three doctoral theses he supervised. It is likely that the list of publications presented is not a complete bibliography of the author’s works. Due to the specificity of the study, the co-authored publications are listed in a chronological order, not an alphabetical order of co-authors. In addition, compared to the standard bibliographical style adopted in the journal, the date of publication appears at the end of each bibliographic record in square brackets. Providing the date in this format follows the convention adopted on the SAO / NASA portal Astrophysics Data System and its enriched copy: “The Science Archive Facility” at the European Southern Observatory. In accordance with the conventions adopted in the aforementioned portals, the list of publications also includes two reviews of a co-authored monograph by P. Flin.

Abstract:
AbstractThis bibliography sets out to explore the topics that Muslim women in the West reflected on and researched as they joined the institutions of higher learning and began to have an input in the creation of knowledge. It also attempts to gather the available information about the experiences of Muslim women and surveys the available literature in English on Muslim women living in the West. While Muslim women have been professionally active in many fields, the bibliography is focused primarily on the production of knowledge by professors in the humanities and the social sciences and their contribution to our understanding of the debates about the women of Islam.

Abstract:
Abstract We study the paratexts in Erasmus’ imprints with Johann then Hieronymus Froben of Basel between 1514 and 1536. From Valentina Sebastiani’s bibliography of Johann Froben we observe that Erasmus was a more abundant paratexter than other authors who published with Johann Froben. We supplement that work with a bibliography of Erasmus’ imprints with Hieronymus Froben. We note trends across the Erasmus-Froben corpus, including: a remarkable number of imprints, equally balanced between new editions and re-editions, abundant dedications without correlation to format, indexes in folio volumes especially, a growing attention to errata lists over time. These patterns shed light on one author-printer partnership but also on more general trends in learned publishing in the early 16th century.

Abstract:
The experience of compiling a bibliography of American Jewish liturgy from the establishment of the press through 1925 is discussed. The parameters of the bibliography are detailed as well as its contents. The present lack of complete or systematic documentation of American Jewish liturgy in Judaica libraries is noted. Also discussed is the significance of liturgy for the study of American Jews, their religious and cultural identity, as well as their demographics. This paper details the experience of compiling a bibliography of American Jewish liturgy through 1925, and describes some of the parameters and contents of the bibliography. This bibliography was published by Hebrew Union College Press in late 1997 under the title American Jewish Liturgies: A Bibliography of American Jewish Liturgy from the Establishment of the Press in the Colonies through 1925.
