Part of the Department of Philosophy’s Project concerned the inquiry into the students’ attitudes towards religion and transcendent entities. Parallelly with tracking these stands comes the attempt of tracking the changes that occured over the period of two semestres. Therefore, this article represents both a review and an analysis of either occurence or absence of changes, with the final aim of verifying whether and to what extent the relevant BA courses dealing with the mentioned topics could influence the formation of changes in the students’ attitudes.

Abstract:
This study aims to examine the effect of project-based chemistry learning models on cearning completeness and student creativity through the Chemsong video making project. The research method uses the pretest-posttest control group design while the data analysis uses the parametric statistical test that is N-gain, the independent sample t test and the sample t-test paired test. The sample in this study was obtained by cluster random sampling technique from the population of all students of SMK N 8. The gain normality test showed that the average results of the pretest-posttest clasical learning completeness increased by 0.53 with the criteria being in the experimental class and the control class at 0,31 with moderate criteria. The results of the independent sample t-test showed that there was a significant difference in the classical learning completeness of the experimental and control group students, which was 4.56 greater than t critic 1.98 with a significance level of 5%. In the paired sample t test, the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.05. Whereas the results of student creativity t-test obtained sig values. (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the application of the chemistry learning model based on the Chemsong video project has an effect on improving student mastery learning and creativity.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The present investigation intended to explore how four students experienced their first practicum in the university project of Psychological Attendance, from the second year of the Psychology Course. It revealed how that practicum is organized to take care of the student, as well as how the project showed itself as singular, allowing the students' narrative for this investigation. It was possible to comprehend how the psychological attendance opened to the participants many possibilities to learn through experience, by learning in action. At the same time, by the supervisors' careful psychological attention, the students referred how they incorporated such knowledge in their acting by their reflexions about the experiences at the supervisions as well as with clients. It revealed the possibility of significative learning in action as pertinent to comprehend the meaning of psychologist's attention, even when the practicum occurs for Psychology freshmen students. This investigation points to the urgency to changes in the curriculum of Psychology courses in order to contemplate projects that open new possibilities, directing them to the clients' actual needs.

Abstract:
The CCERS partnership includes collaborators from universities, foundations, education departments, community organizations, and cultural institutions to build a new curriculum. As reported in a study conducted by the Rand Corporation (2011), partnerships among districts, community-based organizations, government agencies, local funders, and others can strengthen learning programs. The curriculum merged project-based learning and Bybee’s 5E model (Note 1) to teach core STEM-C concepts to urban middle school students through restoration science. CCERS has five interrelated and complementary programmatic pillars (see details in the next section). The CCERS curriculum encourages urban middle school students to explore and participate in project-based learning activities restoring the oyster population in and around New York Harbor. In Melaville, Berg and Blank’s Community Based Learning (2001) there is a statement that says, “Education must connect subject matter with the places where students live and the issues that affect us all”. Lessons engage students and teachers in long-term restoration ecology and environmental monitoring projects with STEM professionals and citizen scientists. In brief, partners have created curriculums for both in-school and out-of-school learning programs, an online platform for educators and students to collaborate, and exhibits with community partners to reinforce and extend both the educators’ and their students’ learning. Currently CCERS implementation involves:78 middle schools127 teachers110 scientist volunteersOver 5000 K-12 studentsIn this report, we present summative findings from data collected via surveys among three cohorts of students whose teachers were trained by the project’s curriculum and findings from interviews among project leaders to answer the following research questions:Do the five programmatic pillars function independently and collectively as a system of interrelated STEM-C content delivery vehicles that also effectively change students’ and educators’ disposition towards STEM-C learning and environmental restoration and stewardship? What comprises the "curriculum plus community enterprise" local model? What are the mechanisms for creating sustainability and scalability of the model locally during and beyond its five-year implementation? What core aspects of the model are replicable?Findings suggest the program improved students’ knowledge in life sciences but did not have a significant effect on students’ intent to become a scientist or affinity for science.Interviews with project staff indicated that the key factors in the model were its conservation mission, partnerships, and the local nature of the issues involved. The primary mechanisms for sustainability and scalability beyond the five-year implementation were the digital platform, the curriculum itself, and the dissemination (with over 450 articles related to the project published in the media and academic journals). The core replicable aspects identified were the digital platform and adoption in other Keystone species contexts.

Abstract:
This article presents methods and techniques for shaping and developing students’ practical skills through collaboration between the higher education systems and manufacturing enterprises. At the same time, the concept of "Learning" is widely covered by students: learning by imitation, by habit, by success, by trying, by making mistakes, by learning, by comprehension, by understanding. This reflects a four-step approach to develop practical skills of the student. Step 1 - Explanation - Interest - Information. Step 2 - Demonstration. Step 3 - Return as shown. Step 4 - Practise. The following scientific conclusions are made on the "four-step" method of learning: 1. Assimilation (learning), 2. "Learning through conditional reflexes" through repetition, 3. Stimulation (praise) on the results achieved in mastering. It is shown that actions within the reference text method are performed as follows: 1. Data collection. 2. Planning. 3. Decision making. 4. Implementation. 5. Checking. 6. Conclusion. In order to apply the project method in the whole process of practical training, the projects will be as follows: 1. Exact limited task, 2. Task is complex from the point of view of students and requires them to apply existing knowledge in other situations. 3. Independently perform a new task according to the plan with the acquired knowledge and skills. Students are described to use methods to build their skills and competencies at a high level through reference text and project methods. In the final stage, methods of assessing the practical skills formed in students are presented.

After being given the assignment and deadline, team members work tirelessly to complete their project. Such experiences facilitate the transition of major universities’ MBA students into the real business world. On the other hand, most MBA students at small-sized universities work full-time for a company during the day and take one or two courses in the evening each semester. Despite these constraints, Indiana University Kokomo (IUK) (Kokomo, Indiana, USA) was able to successfully develop and implement a required MBA-level FBC course (C599). In addition to having a positive influence on IUK’s MBA students, this course has had a significant impact upon the economic development of small-sized firms in northcentral Indiana. This paper chronicles the “trials and tribulations” the School of Business encountered in creating and executing C599. After presenting representative comments from client companies and MBA students, six implementation problems with C599 are discussed along with subsequent modifications. Finally, suggestions for small-sized universities like IUK who want to develop and implement their own MBA consultative course are presented.

Abstract:
BioBLAST is a NASA-funded multimedia curriculum supplement, targeted to enrich high school biology classes. It is modeled after the CELSS scenario and currently is being developed by the Classroom of the Future at Wheeling Jesuit College. Through innovative applications of educational technologies and interactions with active researchers in life sciences based at the various NASA centers and by incorporating alternative assessment measures, the BioBLAST project seeks to improve student learning and assist biology teachers. The studentsed life-support system, which uses biological processes to supply astronauts with recycled food, water, and oxygen. The students will be encouraged to formulate hypotheses, devise hands-on experiments to investigate key processes, and use computer simulations to investigate what systems are required to achieve stability of these life-support systems in a simulated lunar base. To succeed in their mission, students will learn basic principles in plant physiology, microbiology, human physiology, nutrition, and the interdependence of systems, and the impact of physical constraints such as temperature, light, and water availability on biological system functioning. BioBLAST will be supported by extensive interactive CD-ROM-based materials and World Wide Web and other internet resources, together with intelligent tutor, frequently asked question lists, and mentor networks that will include the ability to contact NASA and other scientists on-line. An early version of this software will be prototyped to selected schools throughout the United States in Fall 1996.

Abstract:
In any activity, thus at work as well, there is an influence of the environment on a human being. This environment, to which every worker has his own individual relationship, becomes a part and background of the worker’s life. The realization of these interactions and relationships markedly affects achieved working results. The ecologically harmless technologies will not be used in forestry considerately towards the environment if forestry workers do not change their negative attitudes to their environment. In this project we tried to map out environmental knowledge of forestry workers.

Abstract:
Digitalization and technological advancement, referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), results not only in technological innovation but also in the changes in society and public awareness. One such tendency is the demographic aging, which implicates two concerns: the instability of the public pension systems and the social awareness related with the risk of major reduction of benefits in contrast to the expectations and the need for the additional private pension security. The research has aimed to identify the opinions and attitudes of the students from Poland and Ukraine in respect to the broadly understood issues of the old age security, as well as to recognize the prospective differences in this field between the researched populations. The relevant research was conducted using the PAPI method in the years 2018–2019. Within the framework of the research, nine specific hypotheses were presented concerning the attitudes towards the selected aspects of the pension schemes and old-age security. The results were compiled in the form of the semantic differential, and the Mann-Whitney U test was utilized to verify the significance of the differences in the distribution of the answers given by the students. Those served as the basis for formulating the conclusions regarding similarities and differences in the opinions expressed by young people studied populations.
