Abstract:
In an effort provide access to devices and prepare students for the future, a small rural high school committed to becoming a high-tech school. However, data collected using the IPI-T process suggested teachers were typically the users of the technology, students were often disengaged, and teachers were asking students to participate in lower-order surface activities. Missing from the process was the implementation of the faculty collaborative sessions. The year after the initial rollout of the devices, IPI-T data was collected three times. Additionally, faculty collaborative sessions were planned and facilitated within one week of collection data. Participating in each faculty collaborative session, teachers (a) became familiar with the IPI-T Rubric and Protocols, (b) analyzed and discussed the data, (c) identified high-quality examples of student learning that foster student engagement with technology, (d) designed high-quality lessons that foster student engagement with technology, (e) compared longitudinal data and set goals for future data collection using the IPI-T tool. An analysis of the data revealed when implementing the IPI-T process with fidelity teacher and student technology use increased as did student cognitive engagement when using technology. In addition, it was found that students use technology for information searches the majority of the time rather than media development or to collaborate among peers for example, which is associated with higher-levels of cognitive engagement.

Abstract:
The Generalized AutoRegressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) type models have become important tools in financial application since their ability to estimate the volatility of financial time series data. In the empirical financial literature, the presence of skewness and heavy-tails have impacts on how well the GARCH-type models able to capture the financial market volatility sufficiently. This study estimates the volatility of financial asset returns based on the GARCH(1,1) model assuming Skew Normal and Skew Student-t distributions for the returns errors. The models are applied to daily returns of FTSE100 and IBEX35 stock indices from January 2000 to December 2017. The model parameters are estimated by using the Generalized Reduced Gradient Non-Linear method in Excel’s Solver and also the Adaptive Random Walk Metropolis method implemented in Matlab. The estimation results from fitting the models to real data demonstrate that Excel’s Solver is a promising way for estimating the parameters of the GARCH(1,1) models with non-Normal distribution, indicated by the accuracy of the estimation of Excel’s Solver. The fitting performance of models is evaluated by using log-likelihood ratio test and it indicates that the GARCH(1,1) model with Skew Student-t distribution provides the best fitting, followed by Student-t, Skew-Normal, and Normal distributions.

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and learning facilities on student loyalty mediated by student satisfaction. The subjects of this study were students of the Magister Management of the National Development University “Veteran” Yogyakarta. This research includes a quantitative approach with a survey method. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis method used was SmartPLS 3.0. Results 1) The effect of service quality directly has a positive effect on student loyalty by 0.002 but not significant because the T-statistic is 0.008 <1.96 and the P-value is = 0.994> 0.05. Thus the quality of service does not have a significant effect on student loyalty of Master of Management at the National Development University “Veteran” Yogyakarta. 2) The effect, learning facilities have a positive effect on student loyalty of 0.339 but not significant because the T-statistic is 1.218 <1.96 and the P-value is = 0.226> 0.05. Thus, learning facilities do not have a significant effect on the loyalty of students of Master of Management at the National Development University “Veteran” Yogyakarta. 3) Influence, learning facilities have a positive effect on student loyalty by 0.339 but not significant because the T-statistic is 1.218 <1.96 and the P-value is = 0.226> 0.05. Thus, learning facilities do not have a significant effect on the loyalty of students of Master of Management at the 'Veteran' National Development University Yogyakarta. 4) The effect of learning facilities in this case has a positive and significant effect on student loyalty by mediating student satisfaction of 0.192 (T-Statistics = 1.984 and P-value = 0.048). The estimation results of the mediation test show that student satisfaction can mediate the effect of learning facilities on student loyalty because the T-statistic is greater than 1.96, namely 1.984 and the P-value = 0.048 is smaller than the P-value 0.05. It can be interpreted that there is an effect of learning facilities on student loyalty which is mediated by student satisfaction.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether or not the influence of the Principal's Leadership Leadership and Pedagogical Competence of PAI Teachers Against Student Learning Outcomes of Class VIII Private Schools in Leuwisadeng District, Bogor Regency. This research method is a quantitative method. This research is a radom sampling study because the population of 495 is taken from 15% of the total sample, namely 74 respondents. To get empirical data on variable X (students' perceptions of teacher competency) and Y variables (student learning outcomes) that is done by questionnaire or questionnaire. The Principal's leadership covers the Cognitive element, which is managing the school effectively and implementing a daily program. The apective element is able to motivate students to discipline in learning and work and achievement and the Psychomotor element is maintaining a student-centered learning climate. In PAI Teacher Pedagogical Competence has a cognitive element that is mastering the theory and principles of learning that educates, learning activities that educate and evaluate or evaluate, the apective element takes over the characteristics of students and the psychotoric element is communication with students and the development of potential students. while the Learning Outcomes have a cognitive element that is curiosity of students, dare to experiment and academic values, apective elements namely attitudes toward teachers and friends, class attendance and responsibilities towards homework, psychomotor elements namely self-actualization. Abstract:
Student t distribution has been widely applied in the course of statistics. In this paper, we focus on finding a geodesic equation of the two parameter student t distributions. To find this equation, we applied both the well-known Darboux Theorem and a triply of partial differential equations taken from Struik D.J. (Struik, D.J., 1961) or Grey A (Grey A., 1993), As expected, the two different approaches reach the same type of results. The solution proposed in this paper could be used as a general solution of the geodesic equation for the student t distribution.

Abstract:
The number of factors that can affect satisfaction, researchers try to see from the aspects of competence possessed by lecturers, educational staff, prices or costs to be borne by students and service quality. This research was conducted in the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics, University of Panca Marga Probolinggo with a sample of 100 management students from a total number of management students of 1000. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant influence between competence, price and quality of service on student satisfaction. Based on the results of research analysis shows that competence, price and service quality together have a significant effect on student satisfaction, where the magnitude of F is 19,060 with a sig level of 0,000. Whereas the results of the research analysis partially showed that the coefficient t of the competency variable, -0.201, proved that competence had no partial effect on student satisfaction with a sig value of 0.841. The coefficient t of the price variable, 2.609, proves that prices affect student satisfaction. If the price is raised and followed by an increase in service it will increase student satisfaction. So partially the price has a significant effect on student satisfaction. The coefficient of service quality t arithmetic which is 5,531 with sig 0,000 means that partially the quality of service has a significant influence on student satisfaction, while the quality of service provides the greatest influence on student satisfaction.
