Abstract:
The existence of the supervising institution for many decades does not solve the problem of defining the functions of the student group supervisor, his role in the formation of the team, it remains very urgent. We have investigated the activities of a curator in higher education institutions. In the course of practical research, we found that it is significant to use in the curator's work such key positions as adaptation technologies, reducing the level of anxiety, minimizing material and housing difficulties, and time management. A survey of curators working in student groups of the first and second years revealed a number of problems: 1) the student group is still a completely immature collective, which complicates effective interaction; 2) most freshmen are not ready for new challenges, the requirements of a new schedule, and, ultimately, they find themselves in a situation of overload, which often leads to stressful situations; 3) some students have to experience pressure from parents or teachers in an effort to get good grades, to earn authority in a new student group. A survey of first and second year students showed the shortcomings of the educational process, such as incomplete awareness of students about their rights, responsibilities and opportunities provided by the new student status; the wish of freshmen to receive timely qualified assistance from a curator in their studies and resolving conflict situations, in adaptation, monitoring progress and attendance, communication with parents; insufficient implementation of the organizational function of the curator. The conducted research work gives grounds to conclude that the task of creating a team based on a student group can be solved with the successful implementation of the activities of the institution of supervision as a pedagogical system. The most productive for the learning process consequence of solving the indicated problem is an increase in the degree of trust at the level “curator — student” and, of course, directly in the student environment, which, in turn, leads to an increase in motivation for the learning process and, as a result, a decrease in indicators. for unsuccessful and expelled students.

This teaching system was built on materials prepared by experts in biotechnology and management with the contribution of the students themselves, engendered by their discussions about real life based business situations. This system is fully supported by the resources available within the Moodle platform, especially the adaptability of content depending on the profile of the students. But this system goes beyond this. It promotes constant teacher-student and student-student interaction; it achieves this by using all the possibilities offered by the network, by using an approach that stimulates participation in different forums and recommends a series of scheduled tasks based upon the company they work for. The goal of this system is to organize and take advantage of all the available knowledge, and especially that which the students themselves build in each edition, so that the following edition participants can profit from it.

Abstract:
In the matter of organizing educational work, it is important to pay special attention to the process of adaptation of first-year students, since a sharp change in the environment can lead to nervous breakdowns and stress. Among the main difficulties, we can note the experiences associated with leaving the school team, the lack of independent work skills, the inability to carry out psychological self-regulation of behavior and activities, the search for a comfortable mode of work and rest in new conditions, etc. Therefore, the main task facing the educational institution is - create comfortable conditions, promote the inclusion of first-year students in new activities and social circles. Of particular relevance in the formation of civic activity of young people is educational work at school and university. It is very important, in our opinion, to pay attention to the continuity of civic education at school and university. This is an important factor contributing to the formation of civic activity in a young person.

Abstract:
Wikis are being increasingly used as a tool for conducting colla-borative writing assignments in today’s classrooms. However, Wikis in general (1) do not provide group formation methods to more specifically facilitate collaborative learning of the students and (2) suffer from typical problems of collaborative learning like detection of free-riding (earning credit without contribution). To improve the state of the art of the use of Wikis as a collaborative writing tool, we have designed and implemented ClassroomWiki - a Web-based collaborative Wiki that utilizes a set of learner pedagogy theories to provide multiagent-based tracking, modeling, and group formation functionalities. For the students, ClassroomWiki provides a Web interface for writing and revising their group’s Wiki and a topic-based forum for discussing their ideas during collaboration. When the students collaborate, ClassroomWiki’s agents track all student activities to learn a model of the students and use a Bayesian Network to learn a probabilistic mapping that describes the ability of a group of students with a specific set of models to work together. For the teacher, Clas-sroomWiki provides a framework that uses the learned student models and the mapping to form student groups to improve the collaborative learning of students. ClassroomWiki was deployed in three university-level courses and the results suggest that ClassroomWiki can (1) form better student groups that improve stu-dent learning and collaboration and (2) alleviate free-riding and allow the instructor to provide scaffolding by its multiagent-based tracking and modeling.

To achieve this goal, it is necessary to radically change the paradigm inwhich the interaction of student and teacher is considered.Today, the modern concept of teaching should be taught to the student himself, and the teacher should exercise motivational management of his teaching, that is. promotion, organization, coordination, and consulting of its activities. If there are strong, bright and deep reasons that cause students to strive for active action, overcoming unavoidable difficulties, and achieving their goals, then actions give more effective and good results

Abstract:
The existing dormitories seem to be excessively communized: they do not have any isolated emotional and psychological spaces that people need physically and psychologically for personal rest and reflection. Such an organization of residential premises of colleges does not meet many vital needs of students, as well as significantly reduces the learning effectiveness, which causes the relevance of this study. The article considers and summarizes the conclusions of modern psychologists concerning the interac-tion of students living in student dormitories. We analyzed the need for both communication and development, and solitude to rest from the social and psychological stress and for reflection. The problems of forming zones for various functional processes in an accommodation unit of student dormitories have been consid-ered due to the need to create a comfortable environment, optimally ensuring efficient basic scientific and educational activities of students, taking into account the psychological characteristics of youth development and issues of setting personal space and comfort zones by architectural means. Based on the analysis of the above features, we proposed schemes of functional zoning, recommended for use in student accommodation units. The objects of the study are buildings and their complexes designed for college students’ accommoda-tion. The subject is the formation of comfortable architectural solutions of student dwelling, corresponding to the specifics of students' psychological development and academic work. The purpose of the study is to develop proposals for the formation of the architecture of objects designed to accommodate students, taking into account their psychological features.

Abstract:
We present the social and pedagogical aspects of the formation of student potential as a personnel reserve. We reveal the functions and applied tasks of the social and pedagogical activity of the formation of student potential as a personnel which includes diagnostic, organizing, educating, developing, correcting, forming, prognostic components. We distinguish several typologies of the personnel reserve according to the type of activity, the speed of replacing posts, and the level of preparedness of a strategic and operational reserve. We study the student potential as a personnel reserve through an analysis of public opinion among full-time students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of Moscow and Tambov. The survey involved 220 full-time students. In addition to the survey, students were interviewed by the heads of various structural divisions and firms in order to find out their opinions on student employment and the formation of student potential as a personnel reserve. We indicate that in the process of formation of the personnel reserve a number of interrelated stages are distinguished: social and psychological study, selection of psychodiagnostic methods, psychodiagnostics and social and psychological prognosis.

Abstract:
Purpose: With increased focus on student preparation for high-stakes licensure exams, there is more interest in alternate forms of content delivery and assessment. This interest has focused on factors within the learning environment that may impact student’s course performance and program progress. In this project, the impact of the method of group determination (random assignment vs. student selection) on student performance in a neuroanatomy course within a collaborative testing environment is examined. Methods: The course performance of two cohorts (cohort one: randomized grouping = 80; cohort two: student-selected grouping = 82) were compared. All students completed weekly quizzes within collaborative groups, while completing unit exams individually. The mean sum of both the quiz scores and examination scores were compared. Results: While the two groups differed (Wilks’ lambda = 0.211; F = 53.541; df = 10,143; p < .05), no pattern was evident among the assessments (ie, one group did not differ significantly on all quizzes or examinations). In overall quiz performance, the randomized groupings scored significantly higher than the student-selected groups (F = 112.252; df = 1152; p < .05) while no difference was noted relative to overall exam scores (F = 2.672; df = 1152; p > .05). Conclusions: While the collaborative testing paradigm has been shown to be a valuable learning tool, no differences are apparent in the course performance between students in randomly assigned groups compared to those in student-selected groups. The very nature of random groups may have encouraged students to be proficient in all of the material, whereas students who were allowed to choose their groups may have divided the material among themselves and not become individually proficient in all concepts.

The low level of discipline among elementary school students has resulted in a sustainable impact on students. The problem in this study is the level of student discipline which is less influenced by the lack of attention to the position of parents towards children. This study aimed to find out more about the position of democratic parents in the formation of discipline in learning for grade III SD students. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive type in presenting the research data. The method used in data collection was using the method of observation, interviews, and field notes. The results showed that the position of democratic parents has a very strategic role in the formation of learning discipline for third grade elementary school students. Through the democratic parenting style, parents are able to provide learning assistance and the formation of student character. Not only have that students also been accustomed by parents to have regular activities in the family environment, especially in the discipline of learning. Therefore, the position of democratic parents plays a very important role in the formation of student learning discipline. The suggestions that can be taken from this study for parents are expected to be able to provide good learning assistance to children so that children have a high level of discipline and interest in learning.

Abstract:
In students ' years there is active intellectual, physical development and socialization of the person. It is known that in Ukraine among the students there is a tendency to the growth of various diseases, deterioration of functional reserves of the body, the presence of different defects of the musculoskeletal system, reducing the level of physical preparedness and the like. In the process of analyzing scientific researches and publications, it is determined that different authors pay close attention to the problem of preserving and strengthening the health of modern students, the formation of a culture of health, the creation of health saving educational environment in higher education institutions. The common opinion of researchers is that the need for health should integrate in the cultural need and become a norm of personality life. The main purpose of this work is analysis and synthesis of scientific sources and results of researches of individual authors on the problem of formation of a culture of students ' health. Theoretical comprehension of this problem gave an opportunity to define the essence and content of culture of health as a whole and for students. According to this we believe that physical education is a powerful mechanism of forming a culture of students ' health. In our opinion, an integral part of the formation of students ' health culture is the use of different types and forms of motive activity for active recreation, health and fitness classes and physical recreation in compliance with recommendations on the duration and intensity of motor activity during the week, as well as the requirements to physical condition, a healthy lifestyle. Prospects for further development see in a more in-depth analysis of the formation of health culture of students of different specialties.

Abstract:
Until now, there has been done little research on the purposeful biopsychosocial development of student personality in Latvia. Also, in pedagogical science there has been little done on the formation of balanced development self-management skills in humans. Each person's biopsychosocial development is in harmony with its health or lifestyle habits. The quality of student life and studies depends on their health which is affected by health habits. Their formation is closely linked to the formation of biopsychosocial development self-management skills in students. The objective of this paper is to analyse the interrelationship between personality biopsychosocial development self-management skills and health habits in students. The paper discovers the nature of biopsychosocial development skill self-management in relation with the formation of health habits in students. In the analysis of the interrelationship between development self-management skills and health habits there have been found the main factors which affect both skill and habit formation. The student biopsychosocial development model has been developed based on American psychiatrist George Engel's theoretical modelling. The principles of balanced biopsychosocial development self-management are based on discoveries in papers on humanpedagogy by Professor A.Spona. The paper looks at the awareness of necessity of student self-development and purposeful self-development in action. The interrelationship between purposeful biopsychosocial development self-management and health habits forms foundation for student attitude formation against themselves, other people, as well as surrounding environment. The results of balanced biopsychosocial development in students manifest together with health habits.

It is well established that international education can profoundly influence a student, including identity and agency formation and the acquisition of knowledge and culture. This study applies the concept of self-formation to reconceptualize the international student experience. It captures the development, changes, and operation of identity and agency during self-formation. Utilizing collective autoethnography, the authentic experiences of three international students studying in Australia during the Covid-19 pandemic were collected. These stories illustrate their transformation from international students to student researchers. Through thematic analysis, three phases have been identified in this study, which are self-exploration, self-positioning, and self-determination and shedding light on the role of agency and hybrid identity. A further scholarly investigation is advocated to enrich the discussion of self-formation and add a nuanced investigation into the variability of individual experiences.

Abstract:
Group work is often a key component of student-centered pedagogies, but there is conflicting evidence about what types of groups provide the most benefit for undergraduate students. We investigated student learning outcomes and attitudes toward working in groups when students were assigned to groups using different methods in a large-enrollment, student-centered class. We were particularly interested in how students entering the class with different levels of competence in biology performed in homogeneous or heterogeneous groups, and what types of group compositions were formed using different methods of group formation. We found that low-competence students had higher learning outcomes when they were in heterogeneous groups, while mid- and high-competence students performed equally well in both group types. Students of all competence types had better attitudes toward group work in heterogeneous groups. The use of student demographic variables to preemptively form groups and allowing students to self-select their group mates both yielded heterogeneous competence groups. Students in the instructor-formed, demographic groups had higher learning outcomes compared with students allowed to self-select. Thus, heterogeneous groupings provided the most benefit for students in our nonmajors, large-enrollment class.
