Abstract:
In the monograph the synthesized and studied at the Institute of Chemistry, FEB RAS, and described in the literature fluoride and complex fluoride compounds, including multiligand fluoroacidocomplex antimony(III) compounds obtained from aqueous hydrofluoric acid solution, their crystal structures, properties and applications are analyzed, discussed and systematized. The monograph consists of an introduction, 5 chapters, and a conclusion. The regularities of the synthesis of complex compounds based on antimony(III) fluoride are described in chapter 1. The crystal structures of fluoride and halogen containing antimony(III) complex compounds and their comparative analysis are presented in chapter 2. The results of NQR-spectroscopic investigations and conclusions about the main regularities of 121,123Sb NQR parameter changes are presented in chapters 3 and 4. Ecotoxicological properties of fluoride and complex fluoride compounds of antimony(III) are considered in Chapter 5. The present monograph can be interest for crystallography researchers and chemists working in the field of metal fluoride complexes as well as for Ph.D. and graduate students.

Abstract:
This chapter explains that the book deals with quotients of the complex 2-ball yielding finite coverings of the projective plane branched along certain line arrangements. It gives a complete list of the known weighted line arrangements that can produce such ball quotients, and then provides a justification for the existence of the quotients. The Miyaoka-Yau inequality for surfaces of general type, and its analogue for surfaces with an orbifold structure, plays a central role. The book also examines the explicit computation of the proportionality deviation of a complex surface for finite covers of the complex projective plane ramified along certain line arrangements. Candidates for ball quotients among these finite covers arise by choosing weights on the line arrangements such that the proportionality deviation vanishes.

Abstract:
After abelian varieties, K3 surfaces are the second most interesting special class of varieties. These have a rich internal geometry and a highly interesting moduli theory. Paralleling the famous Torelli theorem, results from Mukai and Orlov show that two K3 surfaces have equivalent derived categories precisely when their cohomologies are isomorphic weighing two Hodge structures. Their techniques also give an almost complete description of the cohomological action of the group of autoequivalences of the derived category of a K3 surface. The basic definitions and fundamental facts from K3 surface theory are recalled. As moduli spaces of stable sheaves on K3 surfaces are crucial for the argument, a brief outline of their theory is presented.
