Abstract:
The aim of the master thesis named Valuation of the company Bankovní akademie - Gymnázium a Střední odborná škola, a.s. is to estimate market value of the company as at the date of August 31, 2015. The common valuation methods are used in the process of determination of the value. At first, the company is being shortly introduced, which is followed by a strategic and a financial analysis in order to examine the companys financial soundness and assess the perspective of the companys future. The conclusions of the analysis are used for value drivers prognosis and financial plan elaboration, which is followed by valuation of the company. Taking into account the good prospects of the company I choose the DCF equity method to determine its value. The comparable transactions method is used as a supplemental valuation method.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis is focused on the harmonization of work and family life. Specifically focused to the return of women with completed secondary education without leaving exam to the labor market after the maternity leave. The aim of this work is to find the unique determinants that affect transition between maternity leave and labor market. Next step is to compare unique factors with those that can be seen in the literature and specific determinants that can be seen in the financical sector. Adopted research strategy is qualitative approach, specifically semi-structured interview and questionnaire, which is conducted on nine preselected respondents. Collected data are analyzed by using open coding method, which brings us following details and conclusions. The respondents with completed secondary education without leaving exam are not interested in harmonization of work and family life, they would rather separate both spheres.The biggest barrier of return to the labour market is low education, the lack of kindegartens, night shifts and the lack of work experience. On the other hand there is an advantage on labor market if the mother have enough work experiences. Newly identified determinants are: poor financial situation of the family, the lack of information and sick child as a barrier of the transition between maternity leave and labor market. Vice versa contacts in the work field makes huge advantage when the mother has them. The results of this study provide hypotheses for further research. The contribution of this work is an insight to the return of a particular group of women to the labor market. It is possible that these women could experience different barriers than better educated mothers.

The Castle of Education and the Nation is a work concerning secondary segment of schooling system in the political district of Sušice. The time scope of the work is framed by two school reforms from years 1869 and 1953. The work is divided into four topic areas. The opening part dedicates its attention to crucial literature regarding secondary schools, based on it the development of the secondary schooling in the inquired period is outlined, also the formation and evolution of secondary schooling in the political district of Sušice. Second part founded on the primary source research. All secondary schools in the political district of Sušice are analysed in detail with the emphasis put on changes in numbers of students in particular class, their gender and language composition and their geographical and socio-professional background. Emphasis is also laid on the percentage of the studying, who completed particular school successfully. The third part of this work builds on the second part. It sums up and generalises the results of the analysis and manipulates with it further using some theories from the field of history, sociology and the theory of nationalism. Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the issue of civic attitudes adopted by students of vocational schools. The author presents an overview of previous Czech research which shows that students of vocational schools are placed at the bottom of international surveys inquiring civic and political knowledge. Moreover, the results reveal that the students of vocational schools express their support for democracy as a way of government the least. The goal of the thesis is to describe civic and political opinions of concrete students and show who influences them and how. It is designed as a multiple case study. Six students of vocational schools from Prague, a smaller town and a village in Central Bohemian Region were chosen to participate in the study. The core of the work is the description of the individual cases in a detailed context including their family, community, school and friends. The findings indicate that the studied students are usually not interested in politics. Their political beliefs are heavily formed by their family and peers. School as an institution does not have any influence, not even through civic education which is compulsory during the first years of high school education. This diploma thesis is focused on pupils' motivation to learning in ICT at vocational secondary schools and colleges. The main educational goal of ICT as a subject is to develop pupils' ICT literacy. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with motivation as a pedagogical concept and appropriate teaching approaches to it. An analysis of ICT subjects in the curriculum of the Framework Education Programmes for vocational secondary schools and colleges contributes to form an integral part of the theoretical base. The empirical part is divided into three mini-surveys carried out at a vocational secondary school and training institution in Liberec. The first was a questionnaire for pupils to discover what motivates them to study ICT. The second was a questionnaire for teachers which aimed to find out if and how teachers apply and exploit pupils' ICT literacy in their teaching of vocational ICT as a specialist subject. The third element was interviews with ICT teachers with the aim of investigating how ICT teachers understand the role of ICT as a subject and how they develop their pupils' ICT literacy. To enable the nurse at least to perform her profession at a standard level, she needs not only material equipment, but also most of all the moral support of her superiors. Sufficient knowledge and experience are important for that profession as well. Another important aspect is to be able to see the meaningful tasks of her work and to have a feeling of certainty. My work has got three targets, which are: Target 1: To show, how the nurses of the middle management motivate their juniors to make them work more efficiently. Target 2: To analyze experience of middle management nurses with a team management. Target 3: To show whether, and in which way the nurses in the middle management motivate their juniors to increase their professional competence. I have used a qualitative research method for my study. A technique of an in-depth discussion was used for the collection of data. The research group contained 14 nurses in chief positions. The statements of individual nurses were categorized. They were divided into six basic groups, which are: Motivation factors, de-motivation factors, composition of the working team, work in a team, education and registration.

This diploma thesis deals with the issues related to the quality management system in the field of secondary education, specifically in relation to the provision of education with an apprenticeship certificate. The quality management system is mostly associated with the private sector as a production process. However, the quality of services is as important as the quality of products. Quality management has also been known to the public sector for several years. Also state administration organizations, local authorities, universities, etc. deal with the quality management system. Secondary schools should certainly not be excluded from this sphere, as it is a necessary part of the school education system. The quality of the education provided, its course and results should undoubtedly be systematically managed. The first part of the thesis contains the definition of basic concepts focused on education and the school education system, defining quality, quality management methods (ISO, TQM, EFQM, CAF) and the principles of quality management in education. (in English) This thesis deals with the choice of the Czech secondary vocational schools. Through a description of important theoretical approaches connected to the education and a study of the Czech educational system, the paper is getting to the analysis based on qualitative interviews analysed in compliance with the grounded theory approach. Through these interviews the process of choosing the secondary school and the relationship to the chosen school is described. In this part also the data from OECD PISA 2012 are used to provide an additional context. It is argued that the choice done by the apprentices is significantly limited and that the main source of such limits is social. These conclusions are connected with overall context of the Czech highly differentiated educational system. The thesis deals with problems of disabled pupils'education financing at secondary schools. Its aim is to create the integral survey about the disabled pupils'schooling, to compare and analyse normative financing of the most expanded educational specialization in accordance with regions. Theoretical part includes national educational concepts and programs directed at handicapped pupils. Besides detailed characterization of the health troubles'single types there are also described institutial schooling and normative financing of handicapped pupils. There are the analysed reports of MŠMT (Ministry of education and youth's psychical education) about handicapped pupils at the research part. Charts and graphs contain datas of pupils in the Czech republic according to health trouble's type, number of pupils at special classrooms and of integrated pupils during 2007-2012. The inseparable component of the research there is survey of pupils'schooling in accordance with the schools'promoters. Conclusion is devoted to detailed comparison of normative financing of the most expanded educational specialization 65-51-E/01 Stravovací a ubytovací služby (The board and accommodational service) in the first place for mental disabled pupils and pupils suffering with developmental disorders of learning and behaviour.

The thesis is dealing with vocational education in Czech Republic. Particularly, it is focused on the comparison of students' and teachers' opinion on the contribution of vocational education to future path of the graduates. It has two parts - theory and research. Theoretical part begins with discussion about vocational and general education on the philosophical and empirical level. The specifics of Central Europe in this discussion are also mentioned. In the next part, system of vocational education in Czech Republic is presented, including its history and current issues. Theory is ended with providing statistics about changes in participation in education since 1989 and about the success of the graduates in the labour market in tertiary education. In practical part, interviews with students and teachers are conducted to find out their opinion about influence of upper secondary vocational education on the future success of the graduates.

ABSTRACT Human Protection in Emergency (HPE) is the subject of this theoretical research thesis. The theoretical part focuses on a set of human protection in emergency and military training in the broader historical context but also legislative context. Space is devoted to the unambiguous definition of related terms. Furthermore the course curriculum reform with emphasis on the level of secondary vocational education. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of the research that was conducted among the students of first and second years of nonscience oriented secondary vocational schools. Data for the research was obtained by questionnaire survey and analyzed the statistical method. The work also includes a draft concept for the implementation of the teaching of human protection in emergencies. The objective of this proposal is to ensure access to information concerning the HPE for students but also for teachers and that contribute to the formation of desirable patterns of behavior for participation in the incident. The purpose of this diploma work is to evaluate the work of teaching assistants in supporting the study of convicts with disabilities in the Vocational School in Vinařice Prison. The partial aim of this diploma work is to determine whether the teaching assistants are providing enough support to pupils with disabilities in the level of support that will lead to better learning results and also would enable students to succeed at the open labor market. Diploma work will be divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The practical part will be elaborated by quantitative and qualitative research methods. Quantitative research will be conducted through a questionnaire, which will be focused on support which is provided by teaching assistants while working with students with disabilities and then on the perception on teaching assistants support that is provided to students with disabilities. Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on the process of civic and political socialization of adolescents in the context of the reflexion of current political topics in the lessons of civic educational basis on secondary technical schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the explanation of basic terms regarding the chosen topic. It is then followed by an analysis of curricular documents of secondary technical education in the Czech Republic on the national level, from the point of view of the possibilities of the inclusion of current political topics into the teaching lessons. After the theoretical consolidation of the topic, a practical part of the thesis follows, which consists of a case study. This study aims to describe (with the help of the methods of mixed research) the reflexion of current political topics in the Civics lessons on a chosen secondary technical school, for example regarding the teaching methods, also the frequency and intensity of including the topics into the lessons, or expression of personal opinions of the teachers on current political topics. Through the realisation and evaluation of a questionnaire survey is at first found out the perception of teaching about current political topics, as the pupils of the chosen secondary technical school perceive it. Then is through the realisation of half-structured interviews with the teachers and the following analysis in the whole context found out also their position towards teaching about these topics. The ending part of the thesis then includes the conclusion of all important and interesting findings the study brought, evaluation of reaching the goals which were set for the research, recommendation for the pedagogical praxis and also a reflexion on the use of the findings on an own future praxis.

Title: The comparison of the conditions for teaching Educational area of Man and Health in primary and secondary schools Objectives: Research whether schools have such conditions for teaching Educational area of Man and Health in order to achieve the objectives of framework educational programs. Research basic information about the structure of PE teachers in primary and secondary schools and on the structure of PE teachers in Prague and Pilsen region. Research the different conditions of teaching Educational area of Man and Health in primary and secondary schools in Prague and Pilsen Region. Propose appropriate solutions to improve the situation. Methods: We used for comparison of results of non-standardized questionnaire containing mainly closed types of questions. The questionnaire survey was for PE teachers in elementary and secondary schools. The surveyed regions were Pilsen Region and Prague. Results: We found that overall conditions in schools meet the standards of basic curricula. Overall conditions prevent attainment of the objectives and tasks set out in the basic curricula. Conditions for physical education are demonstrably better at primary schools than at secondary schools. Higher educated teachers are located at secondary schools and in Prague Region. The theoretical part assembles methodological starting points for the research - the content and meaning of curricula documents for science education; the contemporary scientific knowledge about selected molecularly biological topics taught at secondary schools; the characteristics of student preconceptions and misconceptions, their diagnosis and importance. The practical part contains the setting of research problems and aims related to their object, presented as the content analysis of curriculum and the teaching methods concerning molecularly biological topics at a selected secondary school; the diagnosis of preconceptions regarding the term "nucleic acids" with pupils (first, third and fourth grade) studying at a selected secondary school (ninety- five respondents) that served to the determination of overall character of stated preconception (genesis, modification and conceptual change during the study at a secondary school). The incorporation of new laboratory exercises with the topic of nucleic acids to the education in the fourth grade and the assessment of their impact on the shape of the preconception has been also the part of the project. This diploma thesis deals with development of industrial school in Volyně in the last one hundred years (1914-2014). Due to such long and rich history of this industrial school, being the second oldest functioning school of this kind, we covered the last one hundred years. Division into chapters follows the changes of school name where such change reflects certain social situation. In this work you can find development of school, its capacity problems which could be solved by looking for and subsequent finding a suitable place for construction and following building of school grounds, problems with accommodation and boarding of students. We keep track of changes related to changes of political situation, changes of study length, fields of study, students´ activities etc. Certain space is related to presentation of school to public (competitions, exhibitions, seminars). In this work you can also find some interesting facts which characterize given period. Sources for this thesis were taken from the archive materials of State district archive in Strakonice, annuals and annual reports of school and school chronicles. This work should contribute to covering history of education system in Volyně.
