Abstract:
As the increasing applications of streaming media, using the streaming media server to provide high-quality video service for people becomes a trend. Streaming media server for video format requirements has become the bottleneck of its development, In this paper, we give a kind of transcoding method, through compiling FFmpeg source code under the windows OS, adding the x264 video codec and FAAC audio library, we can get ffmpeg.exe which can run directly, and we use MFC to design the the operation interface, which used to convert other video formats into stream media server supported formats.

Abstract:
Ultrahigh definition video streaming has been explored in recent years. Most recently the possibility of 4kUHD video streaming over wireless 802.11n was presented, using preencoded video. Live encoding for streaming using x264 has proven to be very slow. The use of parallel encoding has been explored to speed up the process using CUDA. However there hasnot been a parallel implementation for video streaming. We therefore present for the first time a novel implementation of 4kUHD live encoding for streaming over a wireless network at low bitrate indoors, using CUDA for parallel H264 encoding. Our experimental results are used to verify our claim.

Abstract:
Peer-to-peer (P2P) systems are becoming a popular means of streaming audio and video content but they are prone to bandwidth starvation if selfish peers do not contribute bandwidth to other peers. We prove that an incentive mechanism can be created for a live streaming P2P protocol while preserving the asymptotic properties of randomized gossip-based streaming. In order to show the utility of our result, we adapt a distributed incentive scheme from P2P file storage literature to the live streaming scenario. We provide simulation results that confirm the ability to achieve a constant download rate (in time, per peer) that is needed for streaming applications on peers. The incentive scheme fairly differentiates peers' download rates according to the amount of useful bandwidth they contribute back to the P2P system, thus creating a powerful quality-of-service incentive for peers to contribute bandwidth to other peers. We propose a functional architecture and protocol format for a gossip-based streaming system with incentive mechanisms, and present evaluation data from a real implementation of a P2P streaming application.

Abstract:
Poor performance and network congestion are commonly observed in the streaming media single server system. This paper proposes a scheme to construct a streaming media server cluster system based on FFMpeg. In this scheme, different users are distributed to different servers according to their locations and the balance among servers is maintained by the dynamic load-balancing algorithm based on active feedback. Furthermore, a service redirection algorithm is proposed to improve the transmission efficiency of streaming media data. The experiment results show that the server cluster system has significantly alleviated the network congestion and improved the performance in comparison with the single server system.

Abstract:
This study aims to compile the management of performing arts in musical performances through live streaming at the Music Education Study Program, State University of Medan and to develop methods for implementing Open Broadcaster Software Studio in musical performances through live streaming in the Music Education Study Program. This study uses a qualitative approach by following the opinions of Miles and Huberman (1984), namely (1) data collection (data collection), which is carried out through interviews, observations, document digests, recording and recording; (2) data reduction, which is done by summarizing, selecting the main things, focusing on the important things, looking for themes and patterns and discarding unnecessary ones; (3) data display, which is done by showing data and presenting it in the form of narrative text and charts; (4) conclusion drawing/verification conducted by drawing conclusions and verifying the research findings. The results of the study indicate that the management of performing arts in Karya Musik performances through Live Streaming starts from the planning, organizing, actualling, and controlling stages. A show can be managed well if it has a good management system too. By having a good management system, the performance of the musical works will be able to achieve greater goals, targets, or outputs. Planning begins with preparing Human Resources and preparing hardware and software. The organization consists of the Program Director as the person in charge, Production manager who oversees the Floor Director and Talent/musicians, Multimedia manager who oversees IT operators, Software and Hardware Operators, and Camera Man, and Stage Manager who oversees Sound Operators and Lighting Operators. The implementation of Musical Performances through Live Streaming has been carried out 3 times. They are the Nusantara Tetabuhan Music Show, the Langkat Tamiang Rentak Show, and also the Orchestra Music Show. the methods and steps taken in implementing the OBS Studio software as a medium for the virtual musical performance process include input and output methods and using OBS Studio Software. The Method of Performing Live Streaming Music Works using OBS Studio Software begins with determining the settings and design layout, selecting Capture Card, Copy Code Live Streaming on Youtube, Paste Code Live Streaming to the OBS system, and Start Streaming.

Abstract:
Recent years have witnessed the intensive development of live streaming E-commerce, an emerging business mode. Although it contributes to economic growth, various forms of chaos show up and disturbs the market order. Therefore, from 1 July 2020, the official release of the first domestic document on live streaming E-commerce, the Code of Conduct for Online Live Streaming Marketing, to the end of the first half of 2021, China has witnessed so intensive release of relevant policies that are rare over the past years. Introducing these policies will inevitably attract the general public’s attention and discussions. Based on online comments, this paper uses the LDA models to extract topics from online comments related to live streaming E-commerce and identifies sentiment polarity and sentiment intensity by the analysis models of different emotion dictionaries to study policy implementation effects and the main topics of concern before and after the policy implementation. The analysis results show that people between the age of 20 and 40 attach more importance to the implementation of the normative policy for live streaming E-commerce. Women, the main force of live streaming users, are less enthusiastic about the policy implementation than men. Moreover, the analysis results of the LDA models and online HDP (online hierarchical Dirichlet process) models demonstrate that the most discussed topics are the contribution of live streaming E-commerce to traditional economic transformation, public welfare activities, resumption of work and production, and poverty alleviation, as well as fraud, counterfeit goods, supervision, rights protection and other incidents in this industry. Overall, the majority of the public holds a positive attitude towards the policy implementation. After further analysis of comments under the relevant topics, it is found that compared with the first two policies released on 1 July and 5 November in 2020, although the proportion of netizens with positive emotions during the implementation of the follow-up policy has increased, the increment is not significant, indicating that the implementation of the new normative policy in a short term will hardly curb the occurrence of industry chaos. In turn, the governments should transfer their attention to actual regulatory problems, and intensify efforts to implement normative policies.

Abstract:
Streaming media is pervasive on the Internet now and it continues to grow rapidly. Most streaming media systems have adopted a typical system architecture in which the storage devices are attached privately to the streaming media server. Unfortunately, with the steady growth of Internet subscribers, the streaming media server quickly becomes a system bottleneck. This paper proposes an innovative, high performance streaming media system architecture (HPSMS) based on the logical separation in the streaming media transport protocol. The architecture avoids expensive store-and-forward data copying between the streaming media server and storage devices. The most salient feature of HPSMS is that the architecture eliminates the streaming media server bottleneck, while dynamically increasing system bandwidth with the expansion of storage system capacity. The system performance of the proposed HPSMS is evaluated through a prototype implementation.

Abstract:
Abstract Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are popular and are used for surveillance and safety purposes, thus often include live video streaming. An attacker with knowledge of the flight controller’s settings can intercept the camera footage/stream. A virtual private network (VPN) connection is considered as one of the solutions in preventing unauthorised interception, but with a cost. In providing end-to-end encryption connection, the VPN connection can slow the wireless connection speed and, thus, impact the real-time streaming. This article describes the implementation of the IoT-based live video streaming system with VPN and analyses the live streaming performance based on quality of service (QoS) measurements. Comparative analysis between video streaming with and without VPN is presented.

Abstract:
A 5G network can provide more comprehensive bandwidth connectivity for the industry 4.0 environment, which requires faster and tremendous data transmission. This study demonstrates the 5G network performance evaluation with MEC, without MEC, WiFi 6, and Ethernet networks. Usually, a 5G network engages with Multi-access Edge Computing, providing the computing functions dedicated to the users on edge nodes. The MEC network architecture presents significant facilities, a network schematic, and data transmission routers. The field test performs high-definition streaming video and heavy-traffic load testing to evaluate the performance based on different protocols by comparing throughput, latency, jitter, and packet loss rate. MEC network performance, streaming video performance, and load test evaluation results reveal that the 5G network working with MEC achieved better performance than when it was working without MEC. The MEC can improve data transmission efficiency by dedicated configuration but is only accessible with authentication from mobile network operators (MNOs). Therefore, MNOs should offer industrial private network users partial authentication for accessing MEC functionality to improve network feasibility and efficiency. In conclusion, this work illustrates the 5G network implementation and performance measurement for constructing a smart factory.

Abstract:
Interactive high quality volume rendering is becoming increasingly more important as the amount of more complex volumetric data steadily grows. While a number of volumetric rendering techniques have been widely used, ray casting has been recognized as an effective approach for generating high quality visualization. However, for most users, the use of ray casting has been limited to datasets that are very small because of its high demands on computational power and memory bandwidth. However the recent introduction of the Cell Broadband Engine (Cell B.E.) processor, which consists of 9 heterogeneous cores designed to handle extremely demanding computations with large streams of data, provides an opportunity to put the ray casting into practical use. In this paper, we introduce an efficient parallel implementation of volume ray casting on the Cell B.E. The implementation is designed to take full advantage of the computational power and memory bandwidth of the Cell B.E. using an intricate orchestration of the ray casting computation on the available heterogeneous resources. Specifically, we introduce streaming model based schemes and techniques to efficiently implement acceleration techniques for ray casting on Cell B.E. In addition to ensuring effective SIMD utilization, our method provides two key benefits: there is no cost for empty space skipping and there is no memory bottleneck on moving volumetric data for processing. Our experimental results show that we can interactively render practical datasets on a single Cell B.E. processor.

Abstract:
Officials live streaming is a new exploration of rural revitalization based on the mode of rural e-commerce and grassroots governance. Officials as anchors have a certain political symbolic colour, which has a special added layer for them to drive the sales of agricultural products and handle political affairs online. Through analyzing the subjectivity and professionalism of officials anchors in live streaming practice, it is found that the coupling of officials live streaming and rural revitalization in practice often breeds the problem of subject trust in the identity of officials, the problem of media practice for the government to promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy, and the problem of emerging discourse governance in cyberspace. For this reason, officials anchors need to consider weakening political symbols, visualizing personal IP, and promoting the normalization of live streaming, so as to promote the transformation of rural governance logic, rural governmental solutions, and rural products to increase income.

Abstract:
Abstract Demands on Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) data transport have been increasing over the years as frame sizes and refresh rates increase. As the bandwidths requirements increase the ability to implement data transport protocol layers using “soft” programmable logic becomes harder and start to require harden IP blocks implementation. To reduce the number of physical links and interconnects, it is common for data acquisition systems to require interleaving of streams on the same link (e.g. streaming data and streaming register access). This paper presents a way to leverage existing FPGA harden IP blocks to achieve a robust, low latency 100 Gb/s point-to-point link with minimal programmable logic overhead geared towards the needs of data acquisition systems with interleaved streaming requirements.

Abstract:
Two-dimensional acoustofluidic fields in an ultrasonic chamber actuated by segmented ring-shaped vibration sources with different excitation phases are simulated by COMSOL Multiphysics. Diverse acoustic streaming patterns, including aggregation and rotational modes, can be feasibly generated by the excitation of several sessile ultrasonic sources which only vibrate along radial direction. Numerical simulation of particle trajectory driven by acoustic radiation force and streaming-induced drag force also demonstrates that micro-scale particles suspended in the acoustofluidic chamber can be trapped in the velocity potential well of fluid flow or can rotate around the cavity center with the circumferential acoustic streaming field. Preliminary investigation of simple Russian doll- or Matryoshka-type configurations (double-layer vibration sources) provide a novel method of multifarious structure design in future researches on the combination of phononic crystals and acoustic streaming fields. The implementation of multiple segmented ring-shaped vibration sources offers flexibility for the control of acoustic streaming fields in microfluidic devices for various applications. We believe that this kind of acoustofluidic design is expected to be a promising tool for the investigation of rapid microfluidic mixing on a chip and contactless rotational manipulation of biosamples, such as cells or nematodes.

Abstract:
Although online live-streaming marketing shows nowadays play an important role in stimulating consumption and activating economic circulation, problems also arise and become more prominent, especially reflected from the marketing participants who are suspected of monopoly damage to the order of market competition. However, due to the absence of applicable antitrust norms for online live-streaming marketing, the legislation by far is insufficient for the determination of the subject in the process of the Anti-Monopoly Law. Worse still, there are legislative defects in constituting monopoly agreements and complex factors affecting the dominant market position. In recent years, foreign countries have attached great importance to the Internet antitrust issue and taken a number of powerful measures, such as the implementation of the hub-and-spoke conspiracy for identifying Internet platform and the clarification of the platform monopoly "synergistic behavior" judgment standards, etc., which is worthy of reference. China, in this sense, should adopt the antitrust law rules for the determination of the unincorporated form of the subjects in online live-streaming marketing, improve the identification path of online live-streaming marketing constituting the hub-and-spoke Conspiracy and collaborative behavior, update the determination criteria of the market dominance in the online live-streaming marketing and enrich the antitrust law determination procedure. All these methods will help to optimize the antitrust law identification path of the online live-streaming marketing.

Abstract:
Data streaming platforms connect heterogeneous services through the publish-subscribe paradigm. Currently available platforms provide protection against crash faults, but are not resistant against Byzantine faults like arbitrary hardware faults and intrusions. State machine replication can provide this protection, but the higher resource requirements and the more elaborate communication primitives usually result in a higher overall complexity and a non-negligible performance degradation. As data streaming operates on highly-partitionable append-only state, some of these performance losses can be counteracted by applying speculative execution and sharding. We show the effectiveness of these concepts in a prototype implementation, which only results in a reasonable drop in system throughput and latency during average system utilization, when compared to state-of-the-art data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, while providing stronger resilience guarantees.
