Abstract:
A novel dinuclear gadolinium(III) complex of an amide linked bispolyazatricarboxylate macrocycle (DO3VA) having 2-bromoisovaleric acid pendant arm is reported. The molecular longitudinal relaxivity of the dinuclear complex [Gd2{acamidoet(DO3VA)2}(H2O)2] is 13.23mM–1s–1 which corresponds to a “per Gd” relaxivity of 6.62 mM–1 s–1 (20 MHz, 37 ± 0.1 °C, pH 7). The “per Gd” r1p value is higher than the relaxivity of the clinically approved CAs. The transverse relaxivity (r2p) of [Gd2{acamidoet(DO3VA)2}(H2O)2] is 14.34 mM–1 s–1. The r2p/r1p values of 1.08 indicate that the complex is T1-weighted CAs. The 2-bromoisovaleric acid seems to be an excellent pendant arm for holding Gd(III) metal ion at any pH. The remarkable stability of the complex at various pH and in presence of protein shows that the ligand can be used as functionality in making new CAs for MRI and the amide core is a versatile core molecule for the creation of polynuclear gadolinium(III) chelates and dendrimeric CAs.

Abstract:
Sodium benzoate is one of the most widely used food perseverates and has to be used in regulated amounts to avoid its harmful health effects. Reviewing the scientific literature for traceability of the analytical measurement results of sodium benzoate in various food and drug applications to the SI units, it has been found that no scientific details of certification of sodium benzoate CRMs used for the calibration of measuring equipment are published. For this reason, the national metrology institute of Saudi Arabia (SASO/NMCC) certifies a sodium benzoate solution reference material. In this work, sodium benzoate was synthesized, purified and a batch solution reference material was prepared as 1014.47 mg/kg then homogenized and bottled. Homogeneity and stability of the candidate RM were assessed and the results obtained showed that the material is sufficiently homogeneous and stable. Characterization of the reference material was carried out by HPLC-UV, LC-MS/MS and UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer as three independent methods. The certified value was derived by combining data from the three methods using the weighted mean approach and was found 1016.13 mg/kg. The certified uncertainty was calculated as weighted uncertainty and was found 10.47 mg/kg (1.03%). Sources of this uncertainty were identified from the characterization, uchar, homogeneity, uhom, and long-term stability, ults, as well as the bias allowance, B.

Abstract:
Ethiopia is the largest wheat producer in Sub- Saharan Africa. The productivity of wheat has increased in the last few years in the country, but low as compared to other countries. This low productivity is attributed to a number of factors including biotic, abiotic, shortage of high yielding and stable varieties. The objective of the present study is to identify high yielding and stable genotype. A total of twenty genotypes including Dambal (st. check) and Mada walabu (Local check) were evaluated for two cropping season 2017 and 2018 at four locations: Sinana, Agarfa, Goba and Gololcha. The experiment was laid out in RCBD with three replications. The result of combined analysis of variance showed high significant differences for genotypes, environment and GE interaction. The result of AMMI analysis indicated that 36.3 %, of the total variability was justified by environment, 28.6% by genotypes and 34.9% by GE interaction whereas IPCA 1 and IPCA 2 explained 74.2% from the total GE. Based on GSI a single criteria for stability and high grain yield, genotypes G9, G1, G14,G10, G15 and G12 have the smallest genotype stability index which means they were stable and high yielding genotype. The best genotype with respect to environment Gololcha 2017 and Gololcha 2018 was genotype G10. Genotypes G3 and G17 were better adapted to environments Agarfa 2017. G12 is high yielder stable across tested locations. Therefore this genotype was identified as candidate genotypes to be verified for possible release.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Grain yield of 15 durum wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) genotypes consisting of 13 cultivars and 2 advanced lines, tested in a randomized complete block design with four replications across 8 environments of Central Anatolian Region of Turkey was analyzed using nine parametric stability measures. The objectives were to assess genotype-environment interactions (GEI), determine stable genotypes, and compare mean grain yield with the parametric stability parameters. To quantify yield stability, nine stability statistics were calculated (bi, S2di, Ri2, W i2, σi2, S2i, αi and λi). Yilmaz-98, Cakmak-79, Kiziltan-91, Selcuklu-97 and C-1252 were more stable cultivars, which had 9, 8, 6, 6, 6 out of all 9 stability statistics used, respectively. Especially, among these cultivars, Yilmaz-98 and Cakmak-79 were the most stable cultivars. Furthermore, three-dimensional plots of mean response versus each stability statistic were shown to visually evaluate the yield potential and stability estimates of the genotypes. Genotype mean yield (–x) was significantly positively correlated to the regression coefficient (bi), environmental variance and genotype to the environmental effects (αi), indicating that high grain yielding genotypes had larger values bi, S2i, and αi, S2i, W i2, CVi, αi and bi, were significantly correlated, indicating that they measured similar aspects of stability

Abstract:
Accurate estimation of aerodynamic parameters of an aircraft is a matter of great importance in aviation industry as well in aircraft design and development programs. In this paper, Gaussian sum extended information filter (GSEIF) is studied for aircraft parameter estimation. The convergence condition for the GSEIF has been obtained using the normalized Lyapunov energy functional by proposing a nonlinear observer for the filter and studying its asymptotic behavior, this is a novel approach for deriving stability results for corresponding nonlinear filter. The performance of extended information filter (EIF) and GSEIF is evaluated for aircraft parameter estimation using simulated flight data generated using the MATLAB implementations. The estimation results using GSEIF are better than that obtained using EIF, especially when the initial state is not known (well), which shows that the proposed technique is really feasible for aerodynamic parameter estimation.

Abstract:
According to the stages of the banking system stability monitoring, the analysis of caus¬al links is used to identify the causes of the crisis trends spreading and the rationale for the most effective levers of regulatory influence on the banking system parameters by the central bank. The research is based on the use of the canonical correlation method for structuring causal links between the indicators for the assessment of the banking system stability, which are grouped into four sub-indices (assessing the intensity of credit and financial interaction in the interbank market, the effectiveness of the banking system functions, structural changes and financial disproportions in the banking system, activities of systemically important banks); the method of regression analysis and the calculation of elasticity coefficients is also used to assess the sensitivity of the banking system stability to changes in parameters that characterize the banking regulation instruments. The article analyzes the results of quantitative and qualitative assessment of the banking system stability (comparison of actual results of the evaluation with the data for previous years and comparison of values of stability indicators with critical values). The causes of detected deviations are determined taking into account the results of applying the canonical correlations method. Regression models have been constructed to confirm the dependence of the banking system stability index on the change in parameters that characterize banking regulation instruments, and to determine the most effective of them. Practical testing of submitted proposals is realized based on the Ukrainian banking system indicators for 2007–2016.
