Abstract:
We investigated the effect of aesthetics in sport on exercise intention and revealed factors influencing the judgment of aesthetics via an open-ended survey. Participants were 75 university students who watched sports video clips and rated the influence of each clip on their exercise intention. Results showed there was a stronger exercise intention after watching clips with high compared to low aesthetic value. Movement, music, and clothing were the three factors that were mentioned most often by participants in regard to aesthetic judgments. Our study highlights the importance of the aesthetic value of sports and provides a method for selection of video materials to utilize these aesthetics to promote public health.

Abstract:
Sport is the highlight of the male-female relationship system. We find that the concept of homogeneity is becoming more and more weakened, sport becomes unisex, which can strongly influence gender judgment in society. The "weaker sex" appearance and spread of the sport indicate that something has changed in the world, so thinking has to change also. Nowadays, there is a dual process in the field of sport: 1.) women appear in the traditionally masculine sports, and this plays an important role in the development of gender relations as mixed races arise; 2.) at the same time, men also appear in previously reserved areas for women, which they have not had opportunities so far (BÉKI, 2018). This phenomenon can be observed, though much slower in sports management. Yet in other sports roles, the gates for both sexes have not yet been opened in masculine and feminine sports. The study deals with how the status of an athlete will be transformed after sport if he/she wants to remain his or her sport in other sports roles - concentrating on coaching and judging roles – to represent his or her own sport. Particularly, we have been focusing on sports whose judgment is not socially acceptable to both sexes. The research sample is team and individual women athletes who are more than 14 years old. Research method is in-depth interview research (n = 145) and questionnaire research (n = 240). The results showed that female athletes are becoming more accepted in masculine sports, although more limited in their careers possibilities than men after an athlete’s life. Their athlete’s identity is strong, they want to stay in the sport on the civilian life as well.

Abstract. IPED consumers seek medical advice when uncertain as to their use. Due to shame or fear of stigmatization IPED consumers are often reluctant to talk about their drug use; they fear prejudice and a lack of experience when caring for this specific patient group. In order to strengthen trust, a non-judgmental, non-stigmatizing and supportive attitude is essential. The interaction should primarily lead to an understanding of why AAS are being used, what the patient’s concerns are, and why medical help is being sought, without judgment or condemnation of the behavior. If no motivation to abstain from drug use is found during the consultation, harm reduction should be sought and the consequences of use addressed. Regular talks and active harm reduction can increase the confidence in evidence-based treatment to achieve personal motivation to abstain under medical supervision.

There are many examples of successful application of the famous Bayes’ theorem to forecast the outcome of causes or influences of events. However, there are also many examples of failures of just using probabilities and statistics without also using judgments in each particular application. This is particularly true in medical diagnoses and in sports. The extension we proposed found a way to calculate probabilities combining logical inference of data and judgment. This research extends the use of Bayes’ theorem by incorporating judgments within the framework of the frequently used decision theory, the analytic network process (ANP) and illustrates its use with an application.

Abstract:
The assumption of risk regulations is a new defense of exemption in the civil code in China. By analyzing the civil judgment documents related to the assumption of risk after the implementation of the civil code, it is found that the court has different understanding of the recreational and sports activities with certain risks, there are differences in the judgment of the participant's cognitive activity risk, and there are disputes over the determination of the offender's no intention or gross negligence, which destroys the unity of judicial application. Therefore, it is advisable to unify the limited contents of recreational and sports activities with certain risks, identify the judgment factors of the participant's cognitive activity risk, and criteria for determining that the participant has no intention or gross negligence, so as to promote the unity of judicial judgment.

Abstract:
Fatigue is a feeling that appears after the human body undergoes excessive physical or mental work. The fatigue may reduce the ability to complete work. When sport fatigue occurs, the athlete's heart load continues to increase, muscles become sore, flexibility is reduced, thinking and judgment become slow, and the athlete is easily irritated. Thus, it is necessary to monitor the athlete's status during sports, such as playing basketball. Generally, the ion current in the body will change when the athlete suffers fatigue. That means the sport fatigue may cause changes in the bioelectric signals of the human body. This paper adopts bioelectric signals to analyze athlete status to prevent sport fatigue during basketball. The experiments on a basketball sport dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract:
The little existing research on risky sports tends to concentrate on the demographic and psychological characteristics of individuals who participate in high-risk sports such as scuba diving, parachuting, spelunking, auto racing, mountain climbing, and hang gliding. This study considers another dimension: most risky sports are group sports. They involve other people as partners or members of support groups. A death, then, affects others. The study asks two questions: How do participants involved in the death itself handle such an event? In what ways does the death impact upon other members of the sporting community? Through interviews and official reports, the authors studied scuba divers' responses to four fatal accidents and found that accounts of deaths frequently blame the victim for the fatality, emphasizing and centering on perceived errors of judgment and skill. These accounts serve as mortality tales and as disclaimers of personal responsibility that mitigate grief and support continued participation in the sport.

Abstract:
The objective of this literature review is to understand the role of ankle dorsiflexion range of motion in sports performance and the risk of injuries. The ankle harmonizes the interaction between the body and the supporting surface through adjusting to the supporting surface and handling forces to contribute effectually to different functional activities. Ankle dorsiflexion is an essential construct in many sport-specific skills. Ankle dorsiflexion is associated with activation of brain areas involved in movement preparation, sensory integration, motor planning/execution, balance, and visuomotor coordination. Ankle dorsiflexion was associated with enhanced activation of deep core and quadriceps muscles. Decreased ankle dorsiflexion is linked to compensations and altered kinetics and kinematics that can potentially affect sports performance and increase the chances of sustaining injuries. It is vindicated to consider more focus on ankle dorsiflexion range of motion in research studies, sports-related pre-season screening, clinical examination, injury rehabilitation, and return-to-sports judgment.

Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of the fairness of the judgment results in the traditional basketball referee training and evaluation process affected by external factors, an intelligent system for training and assessment of basketball referees in sports events based on intelligent sensors is proposed. We collect the judged poses of basketball referees by wearing intelligent sensor devices, store the collected information in the database using the converter, and analyze the pose data with the quaternion pose solution method based on complementary filters. According to the comparator, the analysis result is compared with the standard judgment information, and the action is judged whether the action conforms to the basketball judgment rules of the sports event. The judge’s action pose score is evaluated according to the judgment result, and the training assessment result is outputted. The results show that the system can clearly simulate the acceleration and pose angle data of the referee’s complex actions, the recognition rate of various basketball penalty poses is high, and the error of the pitch, yaw, and roll pose calculations is small. The response time of this system is 4 ms, when the number of requests sent by the client is 200 which is unanimously approved by the referees.

Abstract:
Accurate clinical judgments are critically important for counselors in their work with clients. To date, there are no studies that have assessed rehabilitation counselors’ knowledge of clinical judgment and its importance to implement in practice. In this internet-based study, a random sample of certified rehabilitation counselors (CRCs;n= 579) were surveyed using the clinical judgment skill inventory (CJSI). The CJSI measures clinical judgment skills across seven clinical judgment skill areas (scientific attitude, cognitive complexity, cultural bias, confirmatory bias, memory bias, negative bias, and evidence-based practice). CRC participants overall rated clinical judgment skills to be important. Significant multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) test indicated significant mean differences between practice settings (Wilks’ LambdaF= 3.31,pvalue <.01) in “scientific attitude” (F-statistic = 3.91,pvalue <.01), “cultural bias” (F-statistic = 3.71,pvalue <.01), “confirmatory bias” (F-statistic = 3.02,pvalue = .01), and “evidence-based practice” (F-statistic = 5.62,pvalue <.01). Specifically, CRCs working for a college or university perceived clinical judgment skill areas to be more important than CRCs working in other practice settings. Implications for rehabilitation counseling practice are discussed.

Abstract:
Objective. This work aimed to study the posture judgment method of 3D image analysis of potential motion damage. Methods. The motion damage collection was implemented by the 3D image analysis method, and 3D image data were adopted to identify the motion damage data. Moreover, 3D image acquisition technology was adopted to analyze the model of potential motion damage and analyze the simulation judgment result of potential motion damage. Specifically, it included simulation parameters, motion damage posture collection effect, damage detection speed at the collection point, damage accuracy, and damage degree. Results. (1) The analysis of the damage monitoring speed at multiple collection points of the athletes in the sports environment confirmed that the range of changes in different time periods was different, and the changes showed a fast to slow to fast trend. (2) The 3D image analysis had high accuracy in analyzing the posture of potential motion damage, which rationalized the evolution of injuries. (3) The degree of motion damage under a 3D image changed from rising to gradual, which was in line with the theoretical results (all p < 0.05). Conclusion. 3D image analysis can collect a high degree of small-sample-size data, then perform specific analysis, judgment, and summary, and finally, obtain objective and reasonable data. It greatly reduced the risk of potential motion damage for athletes and also improved the efficiency of injury recognition. Moreover, it reduced the chances of blind prevention and error prevention by athletes, thereby avoiding waste of resources. The simulation test confirmed the advantages of 3D image data collection in the sports environment, and it was solved that the current athletes cannot accurately and timely judge the potential motion damage. It also met the instability needs of the movement personnel of the acquisition system in the changing sports environment and provided a reliable guarantee for the safety and health of the sport personnel.

Abstract:
With the rapid development of computer technology, people have begun to combine virtual reality and other technologies to achieve scientific sports auxiliary training, to get rid of the state of traditional sports training purely relying on experience. The article proposes a deep learning BP neural network human body posture recognition algorithm and briefly introduces the human body motion posture. The purpose of this research was to use the powerful data processing, mining, and analysis functions of deep learning to train the massive data generated in competitive sports training and apply it to competitive sports training. It is committed to promoting the accuracy and analysis of competitive sports training. Refinement provides technical guidance for athletes’ training, promotes the scientific and informatized development of competitive sports training in China, and provides some reference methods for the research and application of deep learning in competitive sports training. The article’s research results show that (1) taking a rural area as an example, we recorded the exercise postures of rural athletes in five different states: static, upstairs, downstairs, walking, and running. Comparing the recognition rate and training time of The BP neural network algorithm, ABC-BP algorithm, AFS-BP algorithm, and ABC-AFS-BP algorithm, it can be found that in terms of recognition rate, ABC-AFS-BP algorithm, AFS-BP algorithm, and ABC-BP algorithm are better than traditional BP algorithm. Among them, the recognition rate of the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm is higher than that of the ABC-BP algorithm, but it takes slightly more time than the ABC-BP algorithm. In terms of training time, the ABC-BP algorithm takes less time, but the accuracy is lower than the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm; the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm has a greater improvement in time consumption than the AFS-BP model and can guarantee the recognition rate and accuracy, and the error rate curves of the four algorithms show that after 500 iterations of the training part, the iteration error value of the ABC-AFS-BP algorithm is the smallest. (2) We evaluated sports postures of athletes from a certain rural team and concluded that bad postures will have a certain impact on the body. Among them, more than 85% of athletes in football and basketball have pelvic rotation. The problem is that football players have reached 90% of the test sample. 60% of football players and basketball players have the problem of collapsed foot. The main problem of aerobic athletes is flat back and collapsed foot. More than 90% of badminton players have high and low shoulder problems, and more than 80% of them have neck problems, which is a very serious body posture problem. (3) Detecting the flexibility experiment of the BP posture detection algorithm, compared with the traditional motion posture recording method, we tested from the three aspects of recording motion accuracy, missed detection rate, and recording time. The result shows BP posture detection. The missing detection rate of the algorithm is low, basically maintained at about 2.0, the accuracy of recording actions is relatively high, generally maintained above 98%, and the highest is 99.15%, and the recording time is short, maintained at 3–4 minutes; comparing traditional posture detection with the BP attitude detection algorithm, the missed detection rate of the algorithm is relatively high, kept at 4–6, the action accuracy is lower than that of the BP attitude detection algorithm, generally kept at about 95%, and the recording time is kept at 5–6 minutes. The posture detection algorithm is more efficient.

Abstract:
Virtual reality has a number of advantages for analyzing sports interactions such as the standardization of experimental conditions, stereoscopic vision, and complete control of animated humanoid movement. Nevertheless, in order to be useful for sports applications, accurate perception of simulated movement in the virtual sports environment is essential. This perception depends on parameters of the synthetic character such as the number of degrees of freedom of its skeleton or the levels of detail (LOD) of its graphical representation. This study focuses on the influence of this latter parameter on the perception of the movement. In order to evaluate it, this study analyzes the judgments of immersed handball goalkeepers that play against a graphically modified virtual thrower. Five graphical representations of the throwing action were defined: a textured reference level (L0), a nontextured level (L1), a wire-frame level (L2), a moving point light display (MLD) level with a normal-sized ball (L3), and a MLD level where the ball is represented by a point of light (L4). The results show that judgments made by goalkeepers in the L4 condition are significantly less accurate than in all the other conditions (p < .001). This finding means that the goalkeepers' perception of the movement is influenced more by the size of the ball during the judgment task than the graphical LOD of the throwing action. The MLD representation of the movement thus appears to be sufficient for a sports duel analysis in virtual environments.

Abstract:
The state vigorously develops the application of community sports and takes it as an important unit of social and economic development. With the development of the economy, residents’ living standards are getting better, which also greatly promotes the development of community public sports. Community public sports have made great progress in terms of scale, hardware, and services, and their impact on society is getting worse. Come bigger. However, there are still some deficiencies in the development of community sports. How to accurately evaluate and predict its facilities, construction, and service levels and put forward corresponding development strategies is an urgent problem to be solved in the field of community public sports. In this paper, an iterative simulated annealing algorithm is proposed to evaluate the level of public sports services and help community public sports institutions identify their own development deficiencies. Through the simulation analysis of the community sports organizations, community members, venue facilities and funds, venue facilities and funds, administrators, and the community sports activities, it is found that the identification accuracy of the evaluation results of the five indicators is above 95%, while the initial threshold of community public sports and social and economic development and the prediction accuracy required by the standard of development status are both 10%. At the same time, the recognition time of the evaluation results in the five indicators is less than 7 seconds. In community public sports development trend prediction and service level judgment, the identification time of the evaluation result is less than 4 seconds, and the overall judgment result is better.

Abstract:
The interdisciplinary nature of sports and the presence of various systemic and non-systemic factors introduce challenges in predicting sports match outcomes using a single disciplinary approach. In contrast to previous studies that use sports performance metrics and statistical models, this study is the first to apply a deep learning approach in financial time series modeling to predict sports match outcomes. The proposed approach has two main components: a convolutional neural network (CNN) classifier for implicit pattern recognition and a logistic regression model for match outcome judgment. First, the raw data used in the prediction are derived from the betting market odds and actual scores of each game, which are transformed into sports candlesticks. Second, CNN is used to classify the candlesticks time series on a graphical basis. To this end, the original 1D time series are encoded into 2D matrix images using Gramian angular field and are then fed into the CNN classifier. In this way, the winning probability of each matchup team can be derived based on historically implied behavioral patterns. Third, to further consider the differences between strong and weak teams, the CNN classifier adjusts the probability of winning the match by using the logistic regression model and then makes a final judgment regarding the match outcome. We empirically test this approach using 18,944 National Football League game data spanning 32 years and find that using the individual historical data of each team in the CNN classifier for pattern recognition is better than using the data of all teams. The CNN in conjunction with the logistic regression judgment model outperforms the CNN in conjunction with SVM, Naïve Bayes, Adaboost, J48, and random forest, and its accuracy surpasses that of betting market prediction.

Abstract:
Athlete injury has always been an important factor that plagues sports. In order to reduce the probability of athletes’ sports injury and improve the judgment of athletes’ action safety, the inherent laws of sports actions are fully excavated, the development of action safety is promoted, and learners and instructors are caused to fully understand the safety of actions. This study uses the LSTM (long short-term memory) cyclic neural network algorithm to judge the safety of athletes in sports competitions. The experiment verifies the effectiveness of the LSTM cyclic neural network algorithm in basketball segmentation and recognition. Sports injury is one of the important factors affecting the performance of all sports, and the problem of athletes’ injury is worrying, so it is very necessary to effectively prevent potential sports injuries. Through the investigation of different professional athletes, the LSTM cyclic neural network algorithm is used for the whole process of extracting an independent motion action including continuous actions. It is used to distinguish key postures and nonkey postures in an action, and to judge the correctness of the action. Basketball skills here are mainly the movements of basic skills such as moving, passing the ball, dribbling, shooting, breaking with the ball, personal defense, grabbing the ball, stealing the ball, and grabbing the ball. The research results prove that the LSTM recurrent neural network algorithm has a good effect on the safety of athletes. For athletes, 41.9% of people can improve the safety of their movements by strengthening strength training.

Abstract:
Drawing on appraisal theory, this paper aims to analyze how the attitudinal positioning of writers of the editorials of business newspapers can be construed by means of lexical metaphors. The focus is on judgment, the evaluation of human actors, because it indicates the subjective presence of a writer. Based on a dataset o3f 32 editorials of two Finnish business newspapers, the results show that the lexical metaphors used during assessments are mostly dead metaphors, representing the source domains of competition and sports, humans and animals, and war, battle, and violence. The most common targets of judgment are institutional actors that are described by the meanings of capacity, tenacity, and propriety. Economic actors are mostly evaluated positively while political actors are mostly evaluated negatively. Cases where economic actors are evaluated negatively and where individual persons are mentioned are unusual but do arise. In general, judgments in editorials reflect the shared values and ideological beliefs of the papers and their readers. Lexical metaphors offer a subtle way of praising and criticizing institutions and individual people, which makes them an important way of communicating as expected in a discourse community.

Abstract. Sport has experienced a huge evolution through the years, which is directly reflected on an increase in the population engaged in sport, as well as in the supply of sport facilities. In increasingly competitive markets, excellence in the provision of services plays a decisive role. Despite the importance of this subject, no studies have been found that evaluate the management of the commercial policy of sport centres and clubs and consequently no valid instruments have been found for this purpose. Therefore, the objective of the present research is to validate the TP-SPORTS instrument: a record sheet structured in eight dimensions and ninety variables that allows the analysis of the management of the commercial policy of sports centres and clubs. In order to validate it, an expert judgment assessment, inter and intrapersonal evaluation using Cohen's kappa test and a pilot test with 150 students of the Physical Activity and Sport Sciences degree have been used. In view of the above, it can be concluded that TP-SPORTS instrument proves to be an innovative and valid tool for the analysis of the commercial policy of sports centres and clubs in our country.

Abstract:
Purpose Based on Haidt's social-intuitionist theory, this study analyzes the differences in ethical decision-making between sport athletes and the general public in order to understand the ethical judgment tendencies of athletes and examine the determining factors influencing their judgment from the perspective of their environment. In so doing, this study hopes to motivate education for enhancing ethical consciousness as well as institutional policy. Methods To this end, 200 elite athletes in their twenties registered for more than 10 years at the Korean Sports Association and 200 college students in their twenties from five universities in Seoul were selected for comparison. Response trends for each item were analyzed by percentage, and differences between groups were confirmed by the χ2 test method. Results The results are as follows. First, in general ethical situations, athletes usually showed a compulsory ethical view that emphasized principles, whereas in a sports situation, they showed a double consciousness and revealed a very strong consequential ethical view which put much emphasis on outcome. Second, athletes strongly maintained a Confucian ethical view that recognized ethics as a norm compared to the general public and, as a result, it was found that paternalism was relatively stronger than rationalism in their ethical decision making. Third, athletes regarded other people's thoughts and group interests as important criteria for ethical decision-making rather than individual thoughts and interests, and showed a group-centered mindset which emphasized group harmony and relationship. Fourth, while the general public viewed excellent athletes as those with excellent skills and good personality, and valued their morality, athletes thought relatively little of the influence and importance of morality in their success. Finally, it was found that coaches and managers were fundamental to the formation of the athlete’s moral view. Conclusion An in-depth understanding of sports participants' ethical awareness should come first in order to enhance ethical consciousness in sport. I hope this study will work as a catalyst for research which approaches athletes' ethical consciousness from a socio-cultural context.

Sports federations, being private associations, have traditionally awarded their contracts regardless of EU Public Procurement directives. The Court of Justice of the European Union has recently given its first ruling on this issue: Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, judgment of 3 February 2021. This article intends to summarize and comment on this decision, a preliminary reference requested by the Italian Council of State. The Court of Justice of the European Union has stated that, if the sports federations depend on any state authority, namely the Italian National Olympic Committee, they should comply with the Public Procurement directives. This might increase transparency, although it could add structure and length to contract award procedures, above certain economic value. The judgment affirms that Italian sports federations have been established for the specific purpose of meeting needs in the general interest, not having an industrial or commercial character, but is less clear regarding whether they are subject to management supervision from the Italian National Olympic Committee. The Court of Justice of the European Union defers the final decision on dependency to the Italian court, thus giving little guidance to other Member States.

Abstract:
Multi-person behavior event recognition has become an increasingly challenging research field in human–computer interaction. With the rapid development of deep learning and computer vision, it plays an important role in the inference and analysis of real sports events, that is, given the video frequency of sports events, when letting it analyze and judge the behavior trend of athletes, often faced with the limitations of large-scale data sets and hardware, it takes a lot of time, and the accuracy of the results is not high. Therefore, we propose a deep clustering learning network for motion recognition under the self-attention mechanism, which can efficiently solve the accuracy and efficiency problems of sports event analysis and judgment. This method can not only solve the problem of gradient disappearance and explosion in the recurrent neural network (RNN), but also capture the internal correlation between multiple people on the sports field for identification, etc., by using the long and short-term memory network (LSTM), and combine the motion coding information in the key frames with the deep embedded clustering (DEC) to better analyze and judge the complex behavior change types of athletes. In addition, by using the self-attention mechanism, we can not only analyze the whole process of the sports video macroscopically, but also focus on the specific attributes of the movement, extract the key posture features of the athletes, further enhance the features, effectively reduce the amount of parameters in the calculation process of self-attention, reduce the computational complexity, and maintain the ability to capture details. The accuracy and efficiency of reasoning and judgment are improved. Through verification on large video datasets of mainstream sports, we achieved high accuracy and improved the efficiency of inference and prediction. It is proved that the method is effective and feasible in the analysis and reasoning of sports videos.

Abstract:
Doping continues to be one of the biggest risks to the credibility of elite sports, and its practice remains widespread among athletes despite improved controls. Athletes’ support personnel could be key to preventing doping behavior. In this sense, anti-doping education for this population appears as a possible strategy to reduce doping behaviors in elite sport, but these programs must be evaluated and designed based on scientific evidence. The aim of this research is to explore the impact of an anti-doping education program about substances perceived efficacy, ill-health short- and long-term effects, and the morality of doping substance use in Spanish sports sciences students. Method: A total of 145 students of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (PASS) from different Spanish universities who took an online anti-doping educational course of the Spanish Anti-Doping Commission (CELAD) answered a questionnaire on their perceptions about doping before, after, and four months later. Results: The results show that the course reduced students’ ignorance about the effects of substances on performance and health and increased their moral judgment and feelings against doping. Discussion: The results are in line with previous research that showed that the moral stance against doping can be improved through educational programs. Conclusion: Online educational interventions can be effective in reducing doping behavior, so their future implementation among ASP can be an effective strategy to reduce doping behavior.

Abstract:
Background: One of the most frequent demands from athletes after rotator cuff tear repair is to return to sport, if possible at the same level of play. Purpose: The main goal of this study was to determine the rate of return to sport after treatment of rotator cuff tears. Study Design: Meta-analysis and systematic review. Methods: The PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines were followed to perform this systematic review and meta-analysis of the results in the literature, as well as for the presentation of results. A search of the literature was performed on the electronic databases MEDLINE, Scopus, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Library. The quality of the included studies was evaluated according to the MINORS (Methodological Index for Nonrandomized Studies) checklist. Inclusion criteria were studies in English evaluating return to sport after treatment of traumatic, degenerative, partial or full-thickness rotator cuff tears in patients practicing a sport regularly, whatever the level, all ages and sports included. The main judgment criterion was the number of patients who returned to a sports activity after treatment of a rotator cuff tear. The criterion was analyzed in 2 ways: return to sport (yes/no) and the level of play (identical or higher/lower level). Results: Twenty-five studies were reviewed, including 859 patients (683 athletes), all treated surgically after a mean follow-up of 3.4 years (range, 0.3-13.4 years). The level of sports was recorded in 23 studies or 635 (93%) athletes and included 286 competitive or professional athletes and 349 recreational athletes. The most commonly practiced sports were baseball (224 participants), tennis (104 participants), and golf (54 participants). The overall rate of return to sport was 84.7% (95% CI, 77.6%-89.8%), including 65.9% (95% CI, 54.9%-75.4%) at an equivalent level of play, after 4 to 17 months. Of the professional and competitive athletes, 49.9% (95% CI, 35.3-64.6%) returned to the same level of play. Conclusion: Most recreational athletes return to sports at the same level of play as before their injury, but only half of professional and competitive athletes return to an equivalent level of play.

Abstract:
In sports science, the link between the experimental protocol and the subject's behaviour in real condition is a key issue. Virtual reality enables to examine this topic because of the reproducibility of situations and the total control of animated humanoids in situations similar to the real world. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the degree of perception-action coupling on the performance of handball goalkeepers in a virtual environment. 8 national handball goalkeepers were asked to react to the actions of a virtual handball thrower in two conditions: a perception-action uncoupled condition (defined as a judgment task) and a perception-action coupled condition (defined as a motor task). In the judgment condition, goalkeepers were asked to make a perceptual judgment with their hand in their own time after the virtual throw; in the motor task condition, goalkeepers had to react in real-time to the virtual throwing motion. Results showed that percentage of successful response was higher in the motor task condition and radial error (distance between the ball and the closest limb when trial was unsuccessful) was lower for the same condition. Implications of our findings are discussed, as well as suggestions for further research..

Abstract:
The algorithm first uses the time domain information of the sports video image to segment the foreground image containing multiple sports targets through sample variance for background modeling. Then the spatial connectivity rate of pixels is defined, and the initial clusters are adaptively split and merged. The self-organizing iterative clustering algorithm can complete the segmentation of multiple moving targets without setting the number of clustering divisions in advance. Experimental results prove that the algorithm has a good segmentation effect on multiple moving targets, and the segmentation results are consistent with the judgment of human vision. The use of spatial connectivity information makes the algorithm iteratively converge fast and has good real-time performance.
