Abstract:
The purpose of the study presented in the article is the empirical study of the typical life spheres where social activity of young people is manifested. The empirical study was carried out on a sample of student youth ( N = 236), which included high school students from secondary schools ( n = 118) and students from higher educational institutions ( n = 118) from Saratov and the Saratov region. We used the questionnaire aimed at registering various forms of social activity and the degree of their manifestation (by R.M. Shamionov, I.V. Arendachuk, E.E. Bocharova, M.V. Grigorieva, A.I. Zagranichniy, M.A. Klenova, N.V. Usova, O.A. Cherekayeva, A.A. Sharov, 2018) and the technique called “Morphological Test of Life Values” (by V.F. Sopov, L.V. Karpushina, 2001) to study various life spheres. Presumably, there are typical spheres of manifestation of various forms of social activity, differing in content orientation. It has been established that the typical spheres of social activity manifestation in young people are the spheres of professional (educational and professional) life, social activity, education and hobbies. The study revealed the typical spheres for various forms of social activity manifestation. Among them are the sphere of professional (educational and professional) life, i.e. leisure, altruistic, socio-economic, spiritual, Internet-network, socio-political, and civil forms of activity; the sphere of social activity, i.e. leisure, altruistic, socio-economic, and socio-political forms of activity; the sphere of education, i.e. leisure, altruistic, educational and developmental, protest forms of activity; the hobby-related sphere, i.e. leisure, altruistic, spiritual, civil forms of activity; the sphere of family life, i.e. altruistic and subcultural forms of activity. We have discovered contradictory tendencies regarding functional manifestation in some forms of social activity in various life spheres and the restriction of other forms of social activity and areas of their manifestation. The applied aspect of the problem under study can be implemented in the development of youth policy programs.

Abstract:
The article describes the main gender features of the implementation of political activities. We study the gender analysis as a process of assessing the different impact on women and men, which is implemented by existing or planned programs, legislation, public policy directions, in all spheres of society and the state. Moreover, the research proves the existence in society of discrimination based on sex, which means acts or omissions that express any distinction, exclusion or privilege on the basis of sex if they are intended to restrict or make it impossible to recognize, use or exercise on an equal basis human rights and freedoms for women and men. The article analyzes gender stereotypes in the social and political sphere that carried out on the example of a gender portrait of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Therefore, various forms of political activity are considered as a set of actions of individuals and social groups aimed at realizing their own political interests. We explore the effectiveness of the implementation of gender policy, which is manifested in the actions of political actors aimed at the adoption of the partnership of the sexes in the definition and implementation of political goals, objectives and methods for their achievement. It was stated that in the process of the democratic development of Ukrainian society, a social order for women engaged in active public and political activities and capable of holding high management positions should be met. This work reveals that the necessary component of the process of social development is the conduct of gender analysis, the introduction of gender analysis in the practice of assessing all social processes and the effectiveness of management of socio-economic and political development. In addition, the study proves that prerequisite for the development of society is gender equality, that is, the equal legal status of women and men and equal opportunities for its implementation, which allows individuals of both sexes to participate equally in all spheres of society’s life. Also noted that the existence of gender inequality slows down the opportunities for economic growth, weakens the system of public administration and reduces the effectiveness of human development strategies. Therefore, careful study of the gender features of contemporary political life and the definition of the directions of further social development is an important condition for ensuring gender parity in various spheres of Ukrainian society. Accordingly, we determine that it is necessary to reduce the influence on the public consciousness of gender stereotypes, that is, stereotypes about the role and place of women and men in society having a cultural and historical basis and, in the majority, restricting the rights of women in society and generating gender discrimination. The article demonstrates that the peculiarities of modern political processes require the search for new approaches to explain and predict the various conflicts between the branches of power, political crises, in order to design policies and to choose the means of state policy.

This article discusses the influence of digitalization on diverse social activity spheres. The authors analyze the essential notions of digitalization with regard to philosophy, law, political science, and economics. The digital sphere becomes virtual space without understanding and recognizing territorial and hence, nation-state, jurisdiction. Global digitalization for all social spheres becomes a reality. Nowadays, the digital economy is globalizing, the public administration is digitalizing, electronic technologies in finance are developing, and smart cities are being created. Law lags significantly behind new digitalization challenges and does not always react swiftly with regard to social interaction dynamics. Philosophy conceptualizes human existence in digital society in the new digital era.

Abstract:
In his book The Venture of Islam, Marshall Hodgson (d. 1968) draws our attention to distinctive religious institutions—i.e., the sharī‘ah law, waqf, and Sufi orders—that played a significant role in the social and civic life of medieval Islamicate society. This paper discusses how medieval Muslims, elite as well as non-elite, used their social agency in the public sphere. It evaluates the effectiveness of these civic institutions for the public good. It attempts to identify how these religious institutions served peoples’ religious, spiritual, social, political, and material needs. ‘Ulamā’, Sufis, rulers, the wealthy elite, and the commoners used their religious, social, and political agency in this sphere for the betterment of the common people. While challenging the medieval despotism thesis, this paper attempts to defend the argument that medieval Islamic society had public spaces in the form of waqf, sharī‘ah law, khānqāh, and madrasah in which the whole social strata participated. Significantly, this paper argues that medieval Islamic societies did not merely have a single authoritarian sphere of social activity in which only the elite had agency; rather, there were multiple public spheres where people, recruited from a range of private spheres, expressed different modes of social agency.

Abstract:
Considering youth as the most important resource for the development of society, it is important to determine how they enter adulthood, which makes them an active subject of social actions and relationships. The formation of youth as a subject of social life can be interpreted as a state and as a process, which are expressed through the concept of «subjectness». The article gives the author's definition of the concept of subjectness of youth, which is considered as an opportunity for young people to show their independence, assert themselves and get real results from their actions, and also defines the spheres of activity in public and private life, within which the subjectness of student youth is manifested. The article argues that the subjectness of youth is a property that cannot be simultaneously and equally manifested in all spheres of activity, but is demonstrated only in certain areas, which can be in different periods, based on the political, socio-economic and sociocultural situation, serve different areas of activity. The article is written on the basis of an analysis of the data of the author's sociological research conducted in the universities of the city of Belgorod using the focus group method, and it substantiates the position that in modern reality the subjectness of student youth is manifested mainly in such spheres of activity as volunteering and family strategies. while in the educational process, in the political sphere and in professional careers, students do not recognize themselves as fully independent subjects.

Charity and other kind of benevolent actions were relegated to the private sphere as moral duties, or to government policies as political duties. But if we consider the activity, donations of time and money by natural persons as an evident manifestation of the civil sector, as an accepted form of socio-economic division of labor, why do we consider similar activities by legal persons as illegitimate? The answer to this question is usually that corporations are neither voters nor democratically empowered to carry out such activities. Abstract:
Design is one of the most popular instruments for administration of policy in different fields and spheres. This is reinforced by creation, implementation, and support of numerous political projects of the local, regional, national, and global levels. At the same time, design and fulfillment of various political projects is complicated by the absence of sound understanding of the content and main approaches towards the key concept of project activity — “political design”. The modern social-humanistic scientific literature has formed explicit approaches towards understanding the stages of political design, the actors of project activity in the political sphere, resources of political design, criteria for the effective implementation of political projects, classification of political projects. However, the very concept of “political design” remains polemical. Its content is saturated with different meanings, which subsequently complicates the study of other aspects and vectors of project activity in the political sphere. This article aims to summarize the main approaches towards elucidation of the concept of “political design”, outline its key parameters, and formulate the relevant definition. Methodological framework for this article is comprised of the theoretical principles of the project approach towards interpretation of politics. The author provides the original definition of the concept of “political design”, systematizes the main approaches towards explanation of its structure and content, offers the socio-technological assessment of the key parameters of modern political projects, and develops additional grounds for their classification. The article identifies and compares the procedural, administrative, pragmatic, organizational, sociocultural, historical, and innovative models of project activity in politics, describes their heuristic capabilities and conceptual boundaries. The author also develops the criteria for assessing the quality of project activities in politics, and correlates them with the basic models of modern political design.

Abstract:
The whole set of political, legal, scientific, educational and economic relations in society and the state absorbs its information and communication space. This is where all the concepts of the various sciences that study the material and virtual world are interpreted today. Political science as a social science cannot stand aside in this process. In turbulent conditions, it simultaneously differentiates and integrates the problems that make up its structural content. Activities of the authorities and their relations with civil society; political institutions, processes and systems; technologies of political activity and motivation of political behavior; political aspects of international relations and the problem of supranational power, everything is interested in political science, where today is the conceptualization of ideas of organization of global information and communication space – the spheres of generation, interpretation and consumption of information, the question of interaction of information actors in science, education, economic or political activities use a single information and communication environment. There is no doubt that the digital world we are entering is not only a new logical stage in the development of the technological sphere of humanity, but a transition of the existing political-legal and socio-political systems to a new dimension of reality. Digital technologies are already rapidly grasping the footholds for advancement in all spheres of society, and digitalization is becoming a trend in modern development, however, it will require ever more in-depth work to develop ever more effective ways of legal regulation of various information and communication relations, as well as effective organizational and legal support for informatization of the state. The complexity of this area is due to the fact that virtually all social and industrial relations have an information component, and therefore the information and legal nature are all norms of interaction in different sectors and spheres of citizens. For example, relationships that arise: in the production and dissemination of information by the media; when applying the organizational and legal mechanisms of its security; at creation and functioning of the state automated information and communication systems. Legal regulation of information relations and social production activities in the information and communication sphere (infosphere), one way or another, affect the organization of all political institutes and processes engaged in the process of creating all targeted programs to improve national, state and personal security of citizens of any country, normatively – legal acts, including laws on relations, which represent the subject of a new field of law integrated with the technical sciences – information law, which practically emerged 20–25 years . Both political science and jurisprudence are still amorphous enough and are not actively defining the scope of their tasks, but they exist and require their decision. Analysis of global trends in the development of mankind in the XXI century suggests that the further development of states will occur in the face of enormous technological and psycho-emotional challenges and risks associated with digital inequality of citizens, however, and under such conditions, the formation of societies and their policies is already happening today, military affairs and, of course, science and education. Risks are the foundation of a fundamentally new economy (knowledge-based economy), the basis of competitiveness in countries where new high-tech breakthrough technologies are being created based on digitized information. The digital economy is defined as an economy based on the digital use of digital information and communication technologies (ICTs), however, they do not take into account that digital technologies of information and knowledge processing are becoming, today, the energy that conceptually changes the organization of information and communication. Areas – Areas of processing (production, interpretation, communication) and consumption of information. The information space is changing – as a sphere of interaction of information actors who use a single information environment. Traditionally, the information environment refers to the totality of information infrastructure, ICTs and tools, as well as organizational and legal structures that represent the organizational, material and legal conditions for the existence and functioning of information actors. The basis (central part) of the information environment is not only the information and communication infrastructure – a set of interconnected communications, information systems and information resources, but also the ability of countries to adequately fulfill the political and legal conditions for its development. Key words: information, informatization, information and communication technologies, information and communication security, information and communication activity, information space, information war, humanities, scientific and educational policy, information legislation.

Abstract:
Corporate involvement in democratic processes typically takes the form of corporate political activity (CPA). In this paper, I develop a framework of political corruption to explain the corroding influence of CPA on democratic processes. CPA corrupts democratic processes by excluding (a) citizen representation from political decision making, (b) citizens’ voices from public deliberation, and (c) citizens’ interests from private deliberations about political preferences. By attending to the power relations within the three key democratic spheres in society—political, public, and private—I explain how corporations influence democratic processes and how these processes in turn become dependent on corporate involvement. My theorization explicates the corporate capture of democratic processes and provides a nuanced understanding of corruption in Western liberal democracies. Finally, I suggest ways to halt this process and thereby defend democracy as a system of governance from undue corporate interests.

Abstract:
The article examines the socio-psychological features of youth self-realization and its sustainability in internal and external dimensions. The specifics and difficulties of studying the problem of self-realization of young people are determined by the growing mediation of the social realization of young people by socio-cultural factors. In this study of the problems of social and personal development of youth, it is appropriate to use a sociocultural approach, within which social processes are considered from the standpoint of their determination by elements of the cultural process (values, norms, models, beliefs, knowledge). It is the sociocultural approach that makes it possible to study the self-realization of youth through the analysis of the value orientations of the individual as the main motivational and meaningful mechanisms of self-affirmation that direct and regulate their life activities, which becomes especially relevant in the era of social changes and the complication of public life. The study of social and cultural factors affecting the process of self-realization of an individual creates opportunities for adequate generalization of disparate facts in the field of social development of youth and identification of trends in the implementation of social self-realization of modern young people. Realization of personal values is carried out in the process of life, the main spheres of which are educational and professional activity, socio-political activity, the sphere of family and household relations and leisure. Hierarchy of values-goals of the individual, concentrated in each of the spheres of life, determines the inequality of these spheres for its self-realization. The most significant spheres of self-realization of young people are the family-household and educational-professional spheres related to the vital needs of young people. Key words: youth, self-realization, hardiness.

Abstract:
The macro-objective level of studying the political environment of state policy actualizes the comprehension of the political system in the structure of the external environment through the description of the category «political culture». In general, scientific understanding of the phenomenon of political culture has become a derivative of various research traditions. At the present stage, it is possible to identify several more or less formalized conceptual positions on this matter: subjective objective approaches, cultural and political doctrines. The essence of political culture unites the behavioral, activity aspects of subjects in the sphere of politics and the way the political system operates. Also, the notion of political culture captures the established system of values, norms, institutions, political consciousness that has developed historically, and the forms of political activity that correspond to it. At the same time, all these concepts, approaches have a point of intersection, which represents the main environmental feature of the phenomenon of political culture - universality, presence in one form or another in all spheres of social life.Domestic researchers recognize and underscore the importance of the influence of political culture on the whole complex of relations between the participants in the political process, the form of organization of state power, the form and effectiveness of the political system, the structure of institutions of power, the ability of political culture through its regulatory mechanisms to achieve social consensus, to promote or impede democratic development national state. At the same time, the problem of the environmental significance of political culture for public policy in foreign and domestic scientific discourses arises more theoretically than practical. In our case, the empirical basis for such a reflection was the information and analytical materials of the Razumkov Center «Political Culture and Parliamentarism in Ukraine: Current Status and Main Problems». Proceeding from this generalization, political culture in the structure of the political environment is a systematically organized integrity whose influence extends to its sphere components (mental, social, institutional, economic, etc.), Their interaction, the result of interaction. And finds its manifestation at all levels of society. The combination of these areas and their content is the conditions and factors of the public policy environment.

Abstract:
The paper considers the peculiarities of the process of the political socialization in modern conditions, i.e. in complication of all spheres of human life and society, primarily the informational and socio-cultural component of this process, which is now dominated by non-linear trends – traumas and gaps. The author (1) represents the informational and social factors of risks and vulnerabilities for the system of interactions of the agents of political socialization under the conditions of pluralization of meanings, simulacres, and the artificial creation of “non-events” and “post-truth”; (2) substantiates the necessity of preservation of value components of socialization of youth as a social group with specific socio-psychological characteristics manifested in social and political spheres; (3) attempts to systematize social and digital information factors that influence the political consciousness and the process of purposeful socialization of young people, their civic activity and involvement in the political processes of the country. The empirical study was aimed at identifying the degree of media activity of non-party youth associations and their influence on the political consciousness of Russian youth. The contentanalysis was conducted on the Medialogia media monitoring system to identify the quantitative characteristics of the publication and media activity of several of the most popular youth social movements and structures (the Nashi Youth Movement, the Revolutionary Communist Youth Union, the Yunarmiya Movement), as well as the Federal agencies for youth affairs of the Russian Federation, the Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on youth policy and the National Council of Youth and Children’s Associations of Russia. The sample included more than 140,000 materials published between February 2019 and February 2022 in print media, radio, TV, Internet and news agencies at the federal level.

This study is dedicated to the peculiarities of the functioning and adaptation of borrowings from foreign languages as a result of interaction with the Chechen language in the processes of globalization. The authors noted the importance of this problem in connection with the growing importance of the Chechen language in society, which, in turn, promotes the activation of its use as one of the state languages of the Republic in all organizations and institutions. It is noted that at the nowadays Anglicisms from the sphere of finance, law and information technology are the most popular among borrowings in the Chechen language, since these groups of terminological systems were most often used in the spheres of public administration, economics of administrative activity – that is, in the spheres of functioning of the official business style. The official business style, like other functional styles of the modern Chechen language, reflects socio-political changes in society that causes dynamic processes in the vocabulary of the Chechen language.

Abstract:
The question as to whether political influence can benefit the commercial activity of companies, and the relatedquestions surrounding political corruption that arise, are of perennial fascination for persons at every level of societyand in every country. With this in mind, this article seeks to explore the relationship between political connections incommercial firms and investment efficiency. This relationship will be studied on an empirical basis, and will shed somelight on the actual parameters, mechanisms, and effects of political influence in the business sphere in the RussianFederation. In this research, we consider only direct relations between business operators and the members of Russian ministries, councils, political parties, heads of the regions and cities. These relationships are categorised as being politicallyinfluential depending on the status of the politician, and whether they are active at a federal, regional or municipallevel. Connections with such politicians are examined where there is evidence of direct links with company CEOs andchairmen of the boards of directors of companies. This research is carried out on the sample of 106 Russian non-financial companies for the period 2010–2015. 44companies from the final sample were considered as politically connected on at least one level. Some firms haveconnections more than at one level (11 companies). Companies have politically connected chairman of the board (36companies) more often than connected CEO (26 companies). Using regression analysis, we determined whether thepolitical ties in Russia have a positive or a negative impact on the investment expenditures of companies.Interestingly, and perhaps contrary to popular belief, we identified a negative relationship between political ties and theefficiency of investment decisions for individual companies. The presence of politically-connected CEOs at federal andregional levels is seen to have a significant negative impact on investment efficiency. However, our results also indicatethat the presence of politically-connected chairmen of the board which are active at the municipal level is correlatedwith efficient investment activity. This indicates that political influence at this level may be responsible for more prudentrecommendations regarding commercial and investment decisions. Overall, it can be seen that in this sample ofcompanies from the Russian Federation, the presence of state-tied representatives may be aligned with a tendency forcompanies to follow targets that are favourable for its government connections and not for the firm itself.Although political connections have a mixed impact on the company’s value, the relation with investment efficiency isprimarily negative. Thus, we may reason that the government has a strong power over politically-related companies.Such influences are linked with a tendency for companies to deviate from their primary goal of value maximisation. These results may indicate the influence of undue pressure from a government which strives to reach its own goalsthrough the mechanism of commercial activity, or perhaps the opportunistic behaviour of individuals in managementpositions who are motivated towards personal political gain at the expense of the company. Political connections have amixed effect on the company’s performance and investment efficiency, and we postulate that firms establish relationshipswith government officials pursuing the goal to obtain more advantageous position. The links between political operatorsand business activity demonstrated in this research undoubtedly highlight some uncomfortable areas of discourse inthe commercial sphere. On a granular level, further research into specific transactions and motivations may seem morea research area for journalists or law enforcement investigators, but this may be simply a popular prejudice. There iscertainly ample opportunity for expanding the scope of this study’s results. Beyond the interests of political, sociologicaland legal researchers, the data presented herein will be of immediate interest to persons operating in the commercial, business, and economic spheres of the Russian Federation and internationally.

Abstract:
By the beginning of 1905, a crisis was impending in all spheres of Russian society. Agrarian problems caused by objective and subjective factors prompted the peasantry to declare their principled positions on solving agrarian problems. The period of 1905-1907 is a vivid example of the struggle of the driving independent force of the revolution, the peasantry, for carrying out an agrarian revolution. Goal: To study the social and political activity of the Russian peasantry in 1905-1907. During 1905-1907, Russia was unsettled by a tide of the social and political activity of the peasantry. The protests, which began in Poltava and Kharkiv Provinces, spread throughout the state and in a short time became uncontrollable by the authorities. Scholars give different figures for the total number of peasant unrests, but despite these differences, it is not difficult to determine that during 1905-1907 peasant unrests covered up to 50% of all European Russia in different periods of peasants revolutionary activity. Manifestations of the social and political activity of the peasantry can be observed in early 1905 in the spontaneous seizure of landowners estates, later the peasants started to pillage, plunder, damage agricultural implements, go on strikes, and cut down forests without permission. The manifestations of early 1905 did not become a novelty for Russian society, but 1905 1907 were a test for the power structures of the state. After all, the peasantry, although they still believed in the tsar, reacted to the unsystematic actions of the power in solving agrarian problems by radical actions and the large-scale protests.

Abstract:
This article is devoted to the analysis of activity of Bishop of Belgorod and Obolensk Joasaph (Mitkevich) (1724 - 1763). Vladyka Joasaph was known for his multilateral and multidirectional activity not only in the sphere of church administration, but also in other spheres: public, scientific, and political. During his ministry in the Belgorod Diocese, he let himself be known not only as a good priest, but also as an outstanding administrator, a wonderful educator, a talented scholar, and at the end of his life also as a far-sighted politician, who unmistakably foresaw new political trends and one of the first to congratulate the future Empress Catherine II on her accession to the throne, although at that time the fact that she would hold on to power was not yet obvious. Although sometimes the methods of his action could be called rather harsh, and sometimes even severe (take at least very strict punishments for ignorant or guilty priests), but in general his activities benefited the eparchy entrusted to him. On the basis of archival documents, the authors investigate the most diverse aspects of the activity of this church hierarch. The thesis is advanced that Joasaph (Mitkevich) fully implemented the ideal of the "Bishop of the Enlightenment" that emerged at the end of the 18th century.

Abstract:
The article deals with the semantics of lexical units of unrelated languages. Problems of studying the lexical level of related and unrelated languages are of particular interest, since the specificity of the national language systems is the most clearly reflected in the lexis. The study of common and different structural semantic features makes it possible to disclose the peculiarity of the native language and culture on the background of language contacts. The studied language systems belong to different types, and the comparison of languages of different types without regard to their genetic links is the greatest value for any research, since it contributes significantly to the correct understanding of the significance of the analyzed speech phenomena. The subject of the analysis is lexemes of socio-political meaning in the Ukrainian and English languages. The study of socio-political lexis is of considerable interest to linguistics, because it reflects one of the most important spheres of life of modern society – political. The study of such an active lexical category as socio-political lexis, contributes to the understanding of language phenomena, due to the evolution of the semantics of lexical units. Socio-political lexis is characterized by blurring of its boundaries, semantic dispersion and sphere of usage. In order to systematize the linguistic material, the lexical-semantic field of the studied lexical units was identified – “Political activity”, within which an anаlysis of the dynamic prosesses in the socio-political lexis was carried out in their correlation with the factors of a social nature. The peculiarity of the lexical-semantic field is that it is allocated on the basis of the logical division of the broad concept, but at the same time it is the actual linguistic division of the man’s representations of objective reality. The field approach to the organization of the vocabulary is one of the main principles of systematization of linguistic phenomena, through which the relationship, interdependence and hierarchy of linguistic units are revealed. This makes it possible to study not separate lexemes, but systems of lexical units and the reflection of their semantic links. Lexical-semantic fields are highly organized and intergrated conceptual spheres, elements of which are mutually delimiting one another, and their importance derives from the system as a whole. Each field analyzes the scope of experience, concrete or abstract; divided and classified in a unique way, reflecting a scale of values of society and a special vision of the world. As a result of the study of structural-semantic features of the lexical-semantic field “Political activity”, it became known that in English it is represented by larger number of lexical units. This advantage can be explained by the greater stability of the British political system in comparison with the Ukrainian. The presence in the lexical vocabulary of the English language of a greater number of borrowed lexical units with political meaning can be explained by the fact that Great Britain has more economic and political contacts with other countries of the world than Ukraine.

Knowledge is produced, stored and accessed in specific genres associated with different activity systems. Coordinated action among diverse groups is facilitated by alignment of knowledge across spheres. Our knowledge of the environment has been created in recent history by the interaction of discourses in military, scientific, public, political, corporate and governmental spheres, although these spheres do not always work in concert and there exist significant obstacles and even resistances to communication of knowledge across boundaries. Citizen concerns have been crucial over the last sixty years in creating environmental knowledge from the perspective of citizens, in contrast to governmental or corporate interests, even though government has since taken on major responsibilities for the production, dissemination and authentication of environmental information. Those with a desire to disrupt remedial action on the environment have found disrupting the knowledge functions of the government an important tool.

Abstract:
Lack of trust is one of the major problems in the political and legal spheres of modern Russia. The formation of institutional trust is a strategically important task because it is an indicator that determines the effectiveness of the authorities, forming a social basis for supporting government institutions and their economic or political course. Abstract:
Abstract The independent employment phenomenon becomes more widespread every day in Russian Federation; the ambiguity of its consequences in political, economic and social spheres of public life defines the need to study it scientifically, as well as to seek ways of bringing this category of students [1]. Room study results of the current phenomenon demonstrated the low pace of business legalizing in the pilot regions. Slow coming out of the shadow is due to the low expectations the students have for the new bill introduction. The analysis was carried out on the data of standard and legal base regulating this sphere of the legal relationship as well as by means of the secondary analysis of the self-employed who participated in the poll in 2018. The developing situation, according to authors, demands the implementation of educational actions; such actions have to rely on results of the sociological researches of self-employment conducted according to the recommendations developed by authors.

Abstract:
The mediaeval historiographical memory of the Crusades in the Kingdom of Navarre is unique precisely because two of its monarchs, the Counts of Champagne—Theobald I and II—actively participated in the Crusader campaigns during 1239–1241 and in 1270, respectively. Despite the importance of the Crusades which, starting from the early twelfth century, also encompassed the connection of this kingdom with Jerusalem’s paradigms of the warrior and religious pilgrimage, it can be asserted that there are scarcely any traces of narrative communication in Navarre about the Crusades, either politically or ideologically. This paper analyses the question of documentation and communication about the Crusades from the study of the chronicles of the Kingdom of Navarre in the Late Middle Ages. The purpose is to identify the characteristics and keys of the texts, dissimilar to the welcoming impact of the Crusades in Hispanic and European political, cultural and religious spheres.

Abstract:
The Islamic Republic of Mauritania as an independent State emerged as a result of the collapse of colonial French West Africa, which included Mauritania. Its independence was declared on November 28, 1960. At the turning point of historical epochs, under the influence of national liberation movements on the continent and the general democratization of world government institutions, wide opportunities opened up for political activity, both for individual parties and movements, and for a particular individual. The pressure of foreign monopolies, the archaic social structure, internal political instability and the complexity of relations with neighboring countries have become serious obstacles to the development of Mauritania. During the years of independence, Mauritania has repeatedly experienced coups d’etat, which could not but have a negative impact on the entire socio-political spectrum of this West African country. Decades of French colonial influence has been reflected in the formation of political institutions in Mauritania, such as the Constitutional Council and the judiciary. Mauritania’s domestic policy has been based on racial and ethnic lines for many years. The protracted confrontation resulted in a conflict between the black population mainly in the south of the country and the traditionally Berber Arabs living in the northern regions, whose representatives held leading state posts. Each new head of state who came to power in post-colonial Mauritania, among the main tasks of domestic development, set the task of uniting various ethnic groups. Despite the obvious difficulties in solving this issue, the main tasks of the country’s leadership in the field of domestic policy are strict compliance with the current legislation in order to restore public confidence in state institutions and psychological restructuring of the consciousness of the vast majority of the population, aimed at developing a new attitude to domestic political life. In the 1980s, the country began a movement for the right of women to participate in the socio-economic sphere. But only in the 21st century did they gain the right to hold political office, although they are still required to live under Sharia law. At the level of public consciousness, the participation of women in politics and in other spheres of public activity is not approved. Traditional slavery is a special problem of socio-political development.

Abstract:
Social activity of the city residents, aimed at changing in the different spheres of their life, implemented both in the structures of civil society and in the political organizations, has acquired a sound in scientific discourse as «urban activism.» This term does not have an unambiguous definition, which makes it difficult to operationalize it for sociological measurement, but allows using a number of methodological approaches to study this phenomenon in the structure of civil society in the city of Khabarovsk. Based on the sociology of «social movements» (G. Bloomer) and the analysis of collective actions from the standpoint of frame theory (I. Hoffmann), the article attempted to analyze the results of sociological studies of public opinion of citizens, reflecting indicators of their social activity, involvement in the socio-political sphere and actions of the local authorities. It has been shown that the origins of the low civic and socio-political activity of the citizens are rooted in a state of their concern about the urgent life problems that require their solution. They serve as a driving force, on the one hand, due to dissatisfaction with the real form of life, and on the other, out of desires and hopes for some new structure of their existence. It is noted that the semantic framework and value guidelines in the collective actions of the city community, authorities and activists of political parties are often contradictory and paradoxical, giving rise to indifference and alienation from the population from involvement in collective social activities to change life for the better. Strengthening of the position of civil activism aimed at the development of the city's civil society can be facilitated by targeted information and communication activities and demonstration of the successful initiative projects not only in the improvement of the urban environment, but also in formation of responsible political consciousness and behavior of the citizens.

Abstract:
Radical changes in political, economic and spiritual spheres entail changes in valued orientations and people’s professional behavior. Priorities that previously seemed immutable are replaced by different ones determining today 's reality. Personal meanings determine peculiarities of people 's behavior and relations with reality. The latter circumstance is essential for analyzing personal meanings of organizations’ heads as a social phenomenon in the transforming Russian reality. The appeal to reasoning is also due to the fact that job satisfaction is not limited to economic benefits. Purpose of work: analysis of sense in the labor activity of heads of organizations. Research methods: psychodiagnostic methods: M. Rokich's "value orientation" method, E. Shein's "Career Anchor" method. Strong and weak positions of possibility of realization of the management concept on the basis of senses are revealed.

Abstract:
The idea of the moral neutrality of law is a characteristic element of liberal political and legal doctrines. This concept is also an element of constitutional principles regulating the limits of permissible legislative interference in the sphere of freedom. In such context, the bond linking it with the clearly defined axiology from which it derives is severed. The aim of this study is to consider to what extent the principle of the moral neutrality of law, being a principle affecting the activity of the legislator, retains its potential in identifying and limiting totalizing practices aimed at systematically limiting choices in the field of the concept of a good life and favouring a specific vision of the legal and political order in both spheres of human activity, individual and collective. The numerous variants of the moral neutrality of law formulated in political philosophy, and the distinctions between individual variants, in conjunction with the criticism of this concept, make it necessary to pay attention to whether this way of limiting totalizing practices is a good tool, resistant to the changing conditions. A review of critical arguments directed against the idea of neutrality leads to the conclusion that the weakening of the concept of the moral neutrality of law translates not only into its value in identifying and preventing totalizing practices, but also into weakening the protection of fundamental values, such as individual autonomy.

Abstract:
The article analyzes the implementation of NATO’s regional strategy in Africa after the end of the Cold War. The author evaluates the intervention of NATO in conflicts on the continent, primarily in Libya, as well as anti-piracy missions and considers the development of NATO’s partnership with African countries in multilateral and individual formats. Special attention is paid to the study of the Alliance’s interaction with the states of the Sahel region, primarily Mauritania. It is concluded that Africa in the near future will be one of the world’s regions on which NATO will project its military and political power, trying to include it in the sphere of its geopolitical influence. To realize this goal, the North Atlantic Alliance will not only increase security cooperation with various regional partners, but will also seek to limit the cooperation of Russia and China with African states in the military-political sphere.

Abstract:
The article summarizes international experience and methodical approaches regarding the complex solution of tasks to overcome systemic vulnerabilities in the spheres of influence of hybrid threats and the formation of a national resilience ecosystem. Defines that the characteristic features of hybrid aggression are the use of a wide range of military, paramilitary and non-military means, which include tools of political, economic, and humanitarian influence of the enemy on the defining spheres of society's life. The asymmetry of hybrid aggression involves non-linearity and rhizomorphism, as well as the use of various means of influence and borders between war and peace, but does not affect the conceptual foundations and vector of its promotion of war. It is a prerequisite and accompanies the escalation of the conflict, which under certain conditions, often unforeseen, develops into full-scale military operations. Hybrid aggression uses mainly hidden means of informational and psychological confrontation and pressure, which includes: destabilization, provocation, incitement, propaganda, disinformation, discrediting, terrorist actions and cyber attacks, blackmail, etc. in relation to objects of hybrid influence. It is justified that one of the most important aspects of the processes of institutionalization of the environment in the field of the formation of comprehensive security of society should be considered the formation of a national ecosystem of sustainability with the appropriate structuring, which is a certain set of subsystems, components and elements that provide the dynamics of development and the main characteristics of the processes of institutionalization of the corresponding ecosystem of sustainability in various spheres of society's life on the basis of clear principles of its functioning, as well as the possibilities of using appropriate methods and means of response in conditions of hybrid threats. Emphasis is placed on the expediency of using the integrated ecosystem of resilience (CORE) model to analyze and find effective ways and means of countering hybrid threats that are potentially vulnerable to democratic societies and capable of influencing decision-making processes and creating cascading effects, as well as for forecasting (foresight) of various scenarios of the development of events in conditions of hybrid threats, as it demonstrates, among other things, dependencies between society, the state and clusters, as well as multilateral communities and global levels. An approach to defining integrated domains (macrodomains), whose spheres and tools of impression have a certain consistency, is proposed. An integrated approach to the systematization of domains of hybrid threats made it possible to conditionally differentiate their totality into 5 meaningful components (integrated macrodomains): 1) strategic (economic-infrastructural): economic domains, domains of critical infrastructure; domain of spatial (space) activity; 2) political (political-legal): political domains; legal domains; domains of public administration; diplomatic domains; defense (military-paramilitary): military domains; intelligence activity domains; societal (socio-humanitarian): cultural domains; social domains; information (information-technological): information domains; cyber domains. An integrated approach to the definition of meaningful components (integrated macrodomains) will contribute to prompt recognition and countermeasures against the use of standardized tools of hybrid influence on adjacent spheres (domains). It is noted that, based on the scope and spectrum of application of hybrid threat tools, the insufficient capacity of the professional security sector to effectively counter hybrid aggression, relying solely on its own resources, is determined. It is emphasized that under the conditions of the permanent spread of hybrid threats, the professional security sector cannot be isolated from society as a sphere of influence of tools of hybrid influence and feels an urgent need to focus more on public awareness of hybrid threats and the search for new and even non-paramilitary ways of countering hybrid aggression with on the part of the proactive public.

Abstract:
Political thought between the two world wars in Bosnia and Herzegovina was marked by substantive educational activity and production with pan-political characteristics. For this reason, it is important to investigate to what extent the thematic focus of Bosnian political thought at that time corresponds to the most significant contextual events in the domestic and extra-national spheres of politics. The theoretical approach that indicates that political activity, behavior, and thinking are determined by challenging contextual determinants represents one of the classic and fundamental research models in political science. Nevertheless, the achieved level of political awareness, the development of political culture, and the established system of government in a specified state context can significantly influence the thematic range of political opinion as well as the participation of citizens in the political process. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account the mentioned contextual and variable determinants in the analysis of the thematic orientation of Bosnian political thought in the period between the two world wars. The dominant narratives and thematic preoccupations in Bosnian political thought at the time will be identified and detected, after the research is conducted, and their compatibility with the key political challenges will be examined.

Abstract:
Abstract This paper is concerned with the ways in which mediating spaces like film festivals function as alternative public spheres when social movements escalate, arguing that the Istanbul International Film Festival and Documentarist right before, during and following the Gezi protests turned into politically and socially inclusive spaces for marginalised groups in Turkey. To account for how audiences and organisers aimed to transform these mediating spaces into socially inclusive and heterogeneous outlets during the Gezi protests, the paper relies on an audience ethnography in the sites of these film festivals from 2013 until 2017 including participant observation, go-alongs and in-depth interviews with audiences, film crews and organizers. Although the spaces of these two film festivals functioned differently, the article shows that film festival spaces generally transformed into cosmopolitan outlets in Istanbul in this period, opening room for a dialogue between marginalised and dominant groups, which was fed by social movements
