For the people of South Kalimantan, river-based myths provide awareness to make friends with rivers. The aim of this study was to understand the form of myths found in the South Kalimantan’s folklor and itsmeaning which dealing with river. The problem in this research is how is the form and what is the meaning of those folklores. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with literature review. Based on theanalysisresults , the form of myths in the South Kalimantan folklore related with the emergence of figures and the presence of certain animals, while the meaning of the myths related with the presence of figures in the myths itself.Bagi masyarakat Kalimantan Selatan, mitos berbasis sungai memberikan kesadaran untuk bersahabat dengan sungai. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui wujud mitos-mitos berbasis sungai yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat Kalimantan Selatan serta makna yang terkandung dalam mitos-mitos berbasis sungai tersebut. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana wujud mitos-mitos berbasis sungai yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat Kalimantan Selatan dan apa makna yang terkandung dalam mitos-mitos berbasis sungai tersebut. Kajian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik kajian pustaka.Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa wujud mitos-mitos dalam cerita rakyat Kalimantan selatan dapat berupa kelahiran tokoh dan keberadaan binatang tertentu serta makna-makna mitos berkaitan dengan keberadaan tokoh-tokoh mitos tersebut.

This study analyzed the effects of the economic linkages between regions Other Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, East Java and East Kalimantan. North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and Gorontalo aggregated into one unit area of Sulawesi Other. South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi aggregated into a single unit into a region of South Sulawesi. Combined with consideration of South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi because in 2005 both areas are still joined in a single administration. Basic Data 2005 in upgrade to the Year 2011 by using the technique of RAS. The estimated number of sectors as many as 35 sectors. The study analysis showed patterns of economic linkages Other Sulawesi region is relatively lower than other regions. The pattern of economic linkages in South Sulawesi region is relatively better than Other Sulawesi. Role of East Java's economy is very large compared to other regions. The pattern of East Kalimantan's economy is relatively good, but more influenced by oil mining sector. The impact of economic linkages between regions showed Sulawesi region Another economic impact to the region of East Java and East Kalimantan but very little significance to the region of South Sulawesi. Other Sulawesi region provide spillover effect to East Java and East Kalimantan but very little influence to South Sulawesi. The impact of economic linkages East Java provides a very small influence other regions. The impact of economic linkage East Kalimantan region give greater influence to the East Java region than to Other Sulawesi and South Sulawesi region

Background: Malaria has caused high morbidity and mortality rates and has decreased the productivity of human resources and national development. Malaria is endemic in several districts in South Kalimantan. Purpose: This study aims to describe the malaria situation in South Kalimantan by examining the malaria cases, Case Fatality Rate (CFR), Annual Parasite Incidence (API), and Slide Parasite Rate (SPR) in the South Kalimantan Province during the period of 2010–2018. Method: This research was a descriptive study with the South Kalimantan population, who were at risk of getting malaria. This study adopted a total participation technique and included all the cases of malaria recorded in the electronic- Surveillance Information System of Malaria (e-SISMAL) data of South Kalimantan province in the period 2010–2018. The study used secondary data from the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office during 2010–2018. The data included the number of malaria cases, morbidity, and the mortality rate of malaria. The data collected was analyzed using CFR, API, and the SPR formulae. Results: The number of malaria cases in South Kalimantan from 2010 to 2018 fluctuated. The highest number of malaria cases occurred in 2011, while a decreasing trend was observed up to 2018. At the same time, the number of deaths during 2012–2018 increased. The death rate from 2010–2018 decreased in South Kalimantan. Conclusion: The number of cases as well as deaths caused due to malaria in South Kalimantan continues to decrease. By 2025, all districts in South Kalimantan could be free from malaria.

The research aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Product Quality And Perceived Service Quality Toward Customer Value, Behavior Intention And Customer Response Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province. The population in this research is the customer Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province. Sampling technique by using accidental sampling with selected respondents must meet predetermined criteria standards. because the population is very much. The number of samples as many as 120 responden, this was according to Ferdinand (2002:48). The analysis was using SPSS and using AMOS 20.0 software. The test results showed that only six hypothesis have a significant effect, namely: Perceived product quality significantly influence toward customer value in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province, Perceived service quality significantly influence toward customer value in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province, Perceived product quality significantly influence toward behavior intention customer in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province, Perceived service quality significantly influence toward behavior intention customer in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province, customer value significantly influence toward customer respon in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province, customer intention significantly influence toward customer respon in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province. While three other hypothesis have not significant namely: customer value have not significant influence to customer intention in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province, perceived product quality have not significantly influence to customer response in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province and perceived service quality have not significant influence toward customer response in Residential Area In South Kalimantan Province.

In the regional scale of the province in Kalimantan, the spread case appeared in West Kalimantan and East Kalimantan on 18th March 2020, Central Kalimantan on 20th March 2020, South Kalimantan on 22nd March 2020 and North Kalimantan on 29th March 2020. In this case the Covid-19 epidemic was caused by coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). The prediction of the Covid-19 is currently sought. We use the SIR Model to perform basic reproductive value calculations (R0). This model is the mathematic language, interpreted as the number of nativity of a new case due to a person infected with Covid-19 into a fully healthy and potential population for illness or infection by the Covid-19. Using the linear regression, we estimate the value of R0. The value of R0 in Kalimantan region is West Kalimantan (R0 = 1.15), East Kalimantan (R0 = 1.17), Central Kalimantan (R0 = 1.09), South Kalimantan (R0 = 1.24), and North Kalimantan (R0 = 1.20). According to the SIR Model, the highest R0 value is in South Kalimantan, followed by North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, and Central Kalimantan.

Malaria elimination in Kalimantan is targeted to be completed by 2020. This study aimed to analyze efforts to eliminate malaria in South Kalimantan from 2010-2018. This research is a descriptive study of the population of South Kalimantan who is at risk of suffering from malaria. This study used a total participation technique involving all cases of malaria recorded in the malaria surveillance information system (SISMAL) 2010-2018 for South Kalimantan. The data used are secondary data obtained from the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office in 2010-2018, namely the number of suspected malaria cases, confirmation and inspection, treatment use data, bed nets distribution, village stratification and annual parasite incidence (API) in each district. The results showed that there was the trend of malaria elimination efforts in South Kalimantan was increased from 89% of suspected patients in 2010 to 100% in 2018, and trend of API decreased from 1.5‰ in 2010 to 0.21‰ in 2018. So, with the provision of artemisinin combination therapy (ACT), from 78% in 2010 increased to 100% in 2018. All regencies/cities in South Kalimantan showed API number <1‰ in 2018. Stratification of high case incidence (HCI) villages/sub-district in 2018 decreased compared to 2010, from 211 villages to 19 villages, while malaria-free stratification from 0 in 2010 to 1,761 villages. Malaria elimination efforts in South Kalimantan showed a significant increase and it is expected that 2020 South Kalimantan will be free of malaria.

AbstrakParindra merupakan organisasi pergerakan berpusat di Jawa yang mempunyai cabang organisasi di Kalimantan Selatan. Peranannya di Kalimantan Selatan belum banyak dipublikasikan. Atas dasar alasan itulah, maka kajian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui persebaran organisasi Parindra di Kalimantan Selatan; (2) mengetahui perjuangan Parindra di Kalimantan Selatan; (3) mengetahui tindakan Pemerintah Hindia Belanda terhadap Parindra di Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sejarah (historical research) dengan menggunakan sebagian besar data primer yakni memoar para pelaku sejarah dari anggota perintis kemerdekaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa asal mula Parindra di Kalimantan Selatan adalah organisasi Persatuan Bangsa Indonesia (PBI) yang dibentuk pada tahun 1930. Karena berfusinya PBI dengan Budi Utomo dan organisasi lainnya di pulau Jawa menjadi Partai Indonesia Raya (Parindra) di tahun 1935 maka dengan sendirinya PBI di Kalimantan Selatan menjadi Parindra. Perjuangan Parindra di Kalimantan Selatan di antaranya: duduk dalam keanggotaan dewan legislatif (Raad), mendirikan Rukun Tani, Koperasi, Rukun Pelayaran Indonesia (Roepelin), dan Lumbung Padi, Mendirikan organisasi Keputrian, Kepanduan Surya Wirawan, dan Sekolah Parindra, menulis artikel politik dan mengeluarkan mosi menentang peraturan kerja paksa (erakan, rodi). AbstractParindra is a Java-based movement organizations that have branch organization in South Kalimantan. Its role in South Kalimantan has not been widely publicized. Based on that reasons, the study aims are to: (1) determine the distribution of Parindra organization in South Kalimantan; (2) determine Parindra struggle in South Kalimantan; (3) determine the action of Dutch East Indies government against Parindra in South Kalimantan. This research is the historical research by using most of the primary data that the perpetrators of historical memoirs of pioneering independence members. The results show that the origin of Parindra in South Kalimantan is the organization Persatuan Bangsa Indonesia (PBI) was formed in 1930. Since the fusion of PBI with Budi Utomo and other organizations on the island of Java, Indonesia Raya became a Party (Parindra) in 1935 then by itself PBI in South Kalimantan into Parindra. Parindra struggle in South Kalimantan include: sitting in the membership of the legislative council (Raad), established the Pillars of Farmers, cooperatives, Pillars Shipping Indonesia (Roepelin), and Lumbung Padi, Establishing keputrian organization, Scouting Surya Wirawan, and School Parindra, write political articles and issued a motion against the labor regulations (erakan, forced labor). Dutch East Indies government facing Parindra movement with perform acts of supervision, prohibition and dissolution of the meeting as well as the arrest and imprisonment of activists Parindra in South Kalimantan.

KUB chicken is a new breed of local chickens as the result of selection by the Indonesian Research Institute for Animal Production, Ciawi-Bogor. KUB chicken has been developed in South Kalimantan since early December 2013 at farmers assisted by livestock services in South Kalimantan and animal house belongs to the Assesment Institute of Agricultural Technology (AIAT) South Kalimantan. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the potency, production performance, and development opportunities of KUB chicken in South Kalimantan. KUB chickens have several advantages i.e. high egg production (160-180 eggs/hen/year), low brooding (±10%), faster growth, more savory meat taste, and adaptable to environment. Problems encountered in the development of KUB chicken in South Kalimantan are low hatchbility, expensive feed prices, and susceptible to diseases such as Newcastle Disease (ND) and Avian Influenza. Performance of KUB chicken at small farmers in South Kalimantan include egg production 65-67%, egg weight of 36.12-38.12 g/egg, feed consumption 85-105 g/head, feed conversion ratio 3.8-3.9, eggs fertility ranged between 90.21-92.61%, hatchability of eggs is 79.67-81.80% and DOC weight ranged from 34.50-36.86 g/head. Efforts to prevent diseases are the use of herb medicine, ND vaccination, and biosecurity. Appropriate feed technology, disease prevention and strengthen the marketing network are strategies that should be applied to develop KUB chicken in South Kalimantan. This will lead new job and increase farmers’ income.

The use of medicine derived from natural ingredients had already begun since ancestors and passed down from generation to generation. However, the properties of those various plants were not clinically been proven. This study aims to find out phytochemical content of medicinal forest plants based on information from the local communities. The study was conducted in two ecosystem types namely wetland ecosystem in peat swamp of Sungai Rasau, Sebangau National Park, Central Kalimantan and dryland ecosystem in Meratus Mountain slope, Peramasan Bawah village, South Kalimantan. Vegetation data in the field was collected by making line transect. Phytochemical analyses qualitatively was done in the Faculty of Math and Natural Science laboratory of Lambung Mangkurat University, while specimen samples were taken from some species that commonly used by the local communities for medicinal purpose as 100 gr to 150 gr of gross weight of each plants. . Then the plant specimens were tested for their secondary metabolites comprised steroids/triterpenoids, quinone, tannin, flavonoids, saponins, and alkaloids tests in the laboratory. The research results showed that medicinal plants used by local communities were still available in their natural habitat In dryland ecosystem, there were 27 plant species discovered and 22 species found in peat swamp ecosystem that potentially use as herbal medicine. Phytochemical analyses showed that most of the plant samples were proved to have secondary metabolites in the form of steroid/triterpenoids, quinone, tannin, flavonoid, saponins and alkaloids. This condition showed that those plant species have potential as herbal medicine. IntisariPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeroleh data bibliografis tentang kesenian musik di Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian berjenis kualitatif-deskriptif ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (literature research), dilakukan selama tiga bulan dari Maret hingga Mei 2017. Sumber data berupa bahan pustaka tentang musik di Kalimantan Selatan diperoleh dari berbagai perpustakaan di Kota Banjarmasin. Selain itu, dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti juga melakukan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen terkait subjek penelitian ini. Keabsahan data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui perpanjangan keikutsertaan peneliti, ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, diskusi sejawat/pakar, serta dengan kecukupan referensial. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah tersusunnya sebuah bibliografi kesenian musik di Kalimantan Selatan dengan beberapa catatan berikut. Dalam kurun waktu hampir 40 tahun (1978—2017), tercatat sebanyak 17 terbitan dengan subjek musik di Kalimantan Selatan. Dari 15 terbitan yang dapat ditelusuri, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar masih menggarap khazanah musik tradisional di Kalimantan Selatan, seperti musik Gamelan, Panting, Kintung, dan lain-lain. Terbitan-terbitan lain yang membahas musik modern-populer belum banyak dilakukan. Selain itu, jumlah 17 terbitan dalam kurun waktu empat dasawarsa dapat dikatakan masih belum mencerminkan kondisi yang ideal dalam perkembangan ilmu musik di daerah Kalimantan Selatan. This descriptive qualitative research uses literature research method, conducted for three months from March to May 2017. Sources of data in the form of library materials about music in South Kalimantan obtained from various libraries in the city of Banjarmasin. In addition, in data collection, researchers also conducted observations, interviews and document studies related to this research subject. The validity of this research data is obtained through extension of researcher's participation, observational persistence, triangulation, peer/expert discussion, and with referential adequacy. The result of the research is the compilation of a bibliography of music art in South Kalimantan with the following notes. In the period of nearly 40 years (1978-2017), there were 17 publications with the subject of music in South Kalimantan. Of the 15 publications that can be traced, it is known that most are still working on the treasures of traditional music in South Kalimantan, such as Gamelan music, Panting, Kintung, and others. Other publications that discuss modern-popular music have not been widely practiced. In addition, the number of 17 publications within a period of four decades can be said still does not reflect the ideal conditions in the development of music science in the area of South Kalimantan.Keywords: music bibliography, Kalimantan music, South Kalimantan music

The kyokushin karate practitioners in South Kalimantan do not have their own practice sites, and are forced to rent a place to practice. The kyokushin karate dojo in South Kalimantan aims to create a special training ground for practitioners of kyokushin karate who have values from the kyokushin philosophy itself, so that they understand that the art of fighting is only a tool to perfect the body and soul, and can be a strong foundation for human development completely. The philosophy of Kyokushin as a concept will be combined with linguistic methods as the goal of solving problems in the design of this dojo.

This research focused more on the theory and practice of music science regarding the music accompaniment of this local South Kalimantan theater. This research used naturalistic qualitative method because it was held in natural conditions (natural setting), this method is also called the ethnographic method. Data gathering techniques include; observation, interview, documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Japin Carita is a traditional theater art from South Kalimantan which is derived from the art of Japin, a dance that originates from Arab. The word Japin in Arabic originating from the word zafin which means fast footwork, and just like the definition Japin dance movement is indeed prioritizing foot movements. The structure of musical forms that can be used as music accompaniment to Japin Carita are; Gasim, Takzim, Rawis, Melagu, Nyanyian, and Tahtim. Japin music in Japin Carita theater is not only for the opening music, but also when the actors enter and leave the stage, and for the closing music. Music illustrations depicting the atmosphere of a place or the mood of an actor, whether sad, afraid, anxious, happy and so on must also follow the rhythm of Japin music. Japin Carita musical instruments consist of baboons, gongs, violins, keprak, and gambus. The function of Japin music accompaniment includes entertainment media, communication media, symbolic tribute, physical responses, continuity media, cultural statistics, and atmosphere proponent of the Japin Carita play/ script.

This is not appropriate with the lack of existing facilities and infrastructure makes theatre activities in South Kalimantan not well developed. Therefore in 2019, South Kalimantan Provincial Government together with Banjarmasin Cultural Park will plan the construction of Theatre Performance Building in a New Cultural Park Area which is located in the Governor’s Office Area of South Kalimantan. They want Theater Performance Building with an adequate lighting system and functional support space with directional access. Beside that, they want this Performance Building to become a Landmark in Banjarbaru City with the nuance of South Kalimantan Architecture. Therefore, the suitable method chosen is the Iconic Architectural Method which can be realized with 3 design principles based on a concept review, there are: (a) Traditional Elements, (b) Continuous Rhythm, and (c) Functional Elements. These three elements are realized by analyzing the point of view, circulation, material, color and texture of the interior and exterior in order to produce a good performance building design according to the client's needs.

Abstract: When compared to popular destinations like Bali or Jogjakarta, the number of tourists visiting South Kalimantan is of course lower. It takes sustainable efforts for South Kalimantan tourism board and related parties to promote this province tourism. Online English articles promoting South Kalimantan are sadly not that many in number. When English articles describing about tourist destinations and hospitality of Banjarese people are hardly found online, at least the articles are well written in order to sell the tourism of this province better. However, language barrier may cause the writers of the articles to use English incorrectly. This study is set to contribute to the promotion of South Kalimantan tourism in terms of foreign language usage. The study is descriptive research because its main objectives are to describe how English is used in articles promoting South Kalimantan and to suggest possible improvements for the misuse of English found in the articles. This research is conducted for three months, December 2017 – February 2018. The location of the research is Banjarmasin. The data of this research are collected from six websites promoting South Kalimantan. After the articles becoming the data of this study are collected, they are read carefully in order to determine the accuracy of the English used in the articles and to find the language phenomena being questioned in this research. After making the decision on the accuracy of English usage in the articles, the researchers then focus to find the misuses of English in the investigated articles. The results of the study are useful to review how English is used in online articles promoting this province. The conclusions drawn for this study are (1) the English used in online articles promoting South Kalimantan are generally accurate though several misuses of the language are still found, (2) syntactic problems in the articles do not disturb of the flow of the stories being told. Thus, the writers of the articles have been successful in promoting South Kalimantan through their writings, (3) Semantic problems in the articles are not that many though improvements are still neededrole, and how it promotes active students’ interaction.

DNA barcoding based on partial Cytochrome Oxidase subunit I (COI) gene in the mitochondrial has widely used in species identification and biodiversity studies. COI gene application is expected to obtain genetic characteristic, genetic variations and phylogeny of giant featherback. The aim of this research was to analyze genetic diversity of giant featherback Chitala lopis in Lampung and Kalimantan. To analyse genetic distance, Kimura two parameter (K2P) model was performed where to determine nucleotide variation & polymorphism and also reconstructed of phylogenetic tree was used MEGA 7.0 software. Total nine individuals were obtained from three populations, i.e. Lampung, West Kalimantan and South Kalimantan. The results showed that giant featherback has 689 bp conserve, 18 bp variation, 13 bp parsimony-informative, and 2 bp singleton sites from 707 bp COI partial gene. The average within-species, in-group, and out-group based on K2P distances were 1.24%, 1.43% & 1.58% (AP008922.1; KM213054.1), and 13.00% respectively. The Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) was obtaining from 13 SNP sites. West Kalimantan samples have two SNP (471 and 528 site). The South Kalimantan samples showed more specific nucleotides with nine SNP (120, 129, 144, 201, 306, 324, 474, 615 and 644). Based on genetic distance, the biggest difference was in the South Kalimantan sample (1.58%) compared with Lampung and West Kalimantan. The results of the K2P neighbour-joining phylogenetic tree reconstruction show that the South Kalimantan samples are in a different group. The West Kalimantan sample shows that it is closely related to the Lampung.

Natural resource abundance in South Kalimantan has been expected to optimize public services. The SDGs accomplishment requires an equitable implementation in economic, social, and environmental aspects. This research aimed to (1) discover the human and economic condition and (2) determine the development direction of South Kalimantan Province. It was based on institutional-secondary data that were processed in GIS software and analyzed with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed that: (1) the human resources in South Kalimantan could accelerate regional development—however, some of the qualitative indicators are associated with poverty complicated by gender disparity—, while the land resources became increasingly limited due to intensive agricultural practices that caused the rise of industrial and trade sectors; and (2) the development of South Kalimantan should improve people’s perception of gender-related topics, recruit more medical workers, and reduce pressures on agricultural land by switching into stable industrial activities.

In order to know the growth rate of superior export product in south kalimantan, the researcher used growth analysis, while to analyze the rate of competitive ability of export commodity in south kalimantan, the researcher used Revealed Competitive Advantage (RCA), Revealed Comparative Trade Advantage (RCTA) and Indeks Spesialisasi Perdagangan (ISP) analysis. Based on the research and data analysis, it is known that since 2003 until 2007, the export growth in south kalimantan has always been increasing. The average rate of export in south kalimantan is 25,4% since 2003 until 2007. While the hogest average rate of superior export product is 150, 01% for rubber product.While the lowest average rate is -3,06% for Rotan. The level of export competitive abilty, mining product has the higest RCA index, 6,78 since 2003 until 2007. And the lowest average index is 6,18 for logging product. By using RCTA analysis, the higest average index is 24,89 for mining product since 2003 until 2007. In ISP analysis, the higest average index is 0,99 for mining, while the lowest is 0,44 for Rotan product since 2003-2007.

The green revolution movement is an action to change people's behavior quickly and precisely to care for environment quality through planting activities in South Kalimantan Province. This movement requires the quality forest tree seed supply, thus requiring research to determine an integrated and systematic strategy for developing forest tree seed programs in South Kalimantan in the next 10 years. SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) with the analytical hierarchy process approach is used to determine the planning strategy. The results of the analysis show that the position of forest tree seed implementation programs is in an investment position, which shows a big opportunity but still has internal constraints/weaknesses. Weakness-opportunities strategies were chosen with 6 programs, i.e.: increasing the human resources competence; construction of facilities and infrastructure for seeds and seedlings certification; organizing certification of seed sources, seedling quality and seed quality; development of superior seed sources; strengthening of quality seed and seed production systems; and the provision of technological information, documentation and supervision systems of the seed and seedling distribution. This strategy can be described in a work program which is expected to be able to improve the performance of the forest tree seed implementation in order to provide quality seeds and seedlings and to become a community economic generator from the forest tree seed sector in South Kalimantan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi genotip dari lokus growth hormone-AluI (GH-AluI) pada populasi sapi Bali di Pleihari, Kalimantan Selatan. Sampel darah diambil dari 46 ekor sapi Bali (25 jantan dan 21 betina) di lokasi Pleihari, Kalimantan Selatan. Identifikasi genotip dari lokus ini dilakukan dengan mendigesti fragmen DNA berukuran 221 bp yang merentang dari daerah intron 4 (49 bp) hingga exon 5 (162 bp) menggunakan enzim restriksi AluI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokus GH-AluI pada populasi sapi Bali di Pleihari, Kalimantan Selatan hanya memiliki satu macam alel, yaitu alel L, dan tidak ditemukan alel V atau alel lainnya pada lokus ini. Disuimpulkan bahwa lokus GH-AluI pada populasi sapi Bali di Pleihari, Kalimantan Selatan bersifat monomorfik.

Investment and labor are factors that affect the economic growth of a region. Economic growth is measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of investment in the mining sector and the labor force participation rate on the GRDP of South Kalimantan. This study employs a quantitative approach with secondary data on macroeconomic indicators obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan. The data used is panel data which is a combination of time series data with cross-section data. The estimation results of the Fixed Effect Model show that foreign investment, domestic investment, and the level of labor force participation simultaneously have a significant effect on economic growth in South Kalimantan. Partially, foreign investment on mining sector has a negative and insignificant effect; domestic investment on mining sector has a positive and significant effect, and Labor Force Participation Rate has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in South Kalimantan

This study aimed to (1) identify the distribution of fish-transporting vessels under the authority of South Kalimantan Province; (2) to analyze the causes of unregistered and unmarked fish-transporting vessels within the provincial authority; and (3) to analyze the causes of fishery capture licensing that continues to run without a Fishing Vessel Book (Buku Kapal Perikanan – BKP). This research activity was conducted at the Banjarmasin Fishing Port, Pelambuan Village, Banjarmasin Barat District, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, with the fish-transporting vessel’s owners within the South Kalimantan authority as the research object. The data collected were the data sourced directly from the observation result in the research location, and other supporting data related to the research object. The results showed that the spreading of fish-transporting vessels that land their cargo at the Banjarmasin Fishing Port were found in Kotabaru Regency, Tanah Bumbu Regency, Tanah Laut Regency, Banjar Regency, Barito Kuala Regency, and Banjarmasin City. Based on the data, there are 183 fish-transporting vessels within South Kalimantan Province authority, but only 42 vessels or 23% ships that are registered as fishing vessels. While for the marking of the vessels, 100% have not carried out marking as fishing vessels. This is due to the unavailability of a standard BKP and the lack of understanding from the vessel owners. The Licensing of Fishery Capture in the form of SIUP and SIKPI is still issued by BPTSP using only recommendation from Department of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs of South Kalimantan Province. The registration and marking of fish-transporting vessels of South Kalimantan Province Authority are not optimal due to the unavailability of a standard BKP that can be used as collateral so that a policy is needed from the local government in terms of budgeting funds for the procurement of BKP so that fish-transporting vessels in South Kalimantan Province can be registered and marked as Indonesian fishing vessels.

Unfortunately, the use of silica sand in concrete mix is still limited as filler material. The challenge is then to explore the use of such silica sand, for instance in the form of nano silica. This research work explores silica sand from: Bangka Belitung, Pangkal Pinang, Lampung, West Java, East Java, West Kalimantan and South Kalimantan. The selected silica sand are then processed by the novel method developed by Indonesia Center for Ceramics using Polishing Liquid Milling Technology. The result is expected to contribute in the development of increased added value of locally available silica sand and to advancing application of nano silica for concrete.

Apart from religious leadership, ulama also have social leadership that is able to control many individuals or groups. This study aims to reveal the form of ulama leadership in South Kalimantan during the Covid-19 conditions. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data is taken from some information posted on trusted websites. The results showed that ulama in South Kalimantan practiced transformational religious leadership in society. Ulama in the context of this research are ulama in South Kalimantan who often get the spotlight from the public. With the interaction of scholars on leadership, the leadership is modeled on religious leadership. Religious leadership offers religious, theological, moral, ethical, and spiritual guidance on most aspects of the daily life of Muslims.

Abstrak: Ulama merupakan tokoh masyarakat yang memiliki kompetensi beragama tertinggi di dalam masyarakat dan menghantarkan ulama menjadi pemimpin agama. Selain kepemimpinan beragama, ulama juga memiliki kepemimpinan sosial yang mampu mengendalikan banyak individu atau kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bentuk kepemimpinan ulama di Kalimantan Selatan selama kondisi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Data penelitian diambil dari beberapa informasi yang dimuat di situs web terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ulama di Kalimantan Selatan mempraktikkan kepemimpinan transformational beragama dalam masyarakat. Ulama dalam konteks penelitian ini adalah ulama di Kalimantan Selatan yang sering mendapat sorotan dari public. Dengan adanya keterlibatan ulama pada kepemimpinan, maka kepemimpinannya bermodel kepemimpinan religius. Kepemimpinan religius menawarkan bimbingan religius, teologis, moral, etis, dan spiritual pada sebagian besar aspek kehidupan sehari-hari umat Islam.

Abstract. Metal age in Indonesia is the period when humans were familiar with metalworking. In general, metaltools were used for either everyday or ritual purposes. However, there are also metal tools which are used asideofacts as well as technofacts. The results of a number of archaeological researches in South Kalimantanindicate that data of metal tools are very few. Therefore, the determination on the earliest use of metal tools andthe varieties of its use has not been comprehensively understood. This paper discusses a number of archaeologicalresearches in Kalimantan in the effort to identify problems related to metal culture. The research method used inthis study was descriptive and inductive reasoning. Data were collected by studying research reports of the Centrefor Archeology, Banjarmasin, literatures on metal culture in Indonesia as well as metal tools references of thecollection of Lambung Mangkurat Museum. The results showed that metal age sites in South Kalimantan aresettlements indicated by material cultures of fragments of iron tools or iron slag. Besides fragments of iron, neitherthe complete artefacts nor the chronology, have been identified yet.

Abstract Determination radon concentrations in dwelling in South of Kalimantan Province by using a passive method had been conducted. South Kalimantan is a province in Indonesia and also known as a coal mining area which has the potential for internal exposure of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) to the human. The research area divided into several sections called grid. Each grid represents a 60 km × 60 km area that installed passive radon monitoring 10 population. Passive radon monitors installed in the dwelling with exposures time approximately 3–4 months and then radon monitors were collected and brought to the laboratory for processing and then read the track to calculate the radon concentrations. The data concentrations of radon in the dwelling and GPS location as an input to the make a map of radon concentration by using MapInfo Software v.10.5. The results of the analysis of the concentration of radon in the dwelling of South Kalimantan in the ranged 3.1 ± 0.2 Bq m−3 up to 94.0 ± 6.7 Bq m−3. The result was lower than the reference level radon set by UNSCEAR was 300 Bq m−3. These data are useful in the development plans and regional development, as well as the basis for health policy analysis due to radon in Indonesia. Furthermore, these data will be the contribution of Indonesia in the international world through UNSCEAR, IAEA and WHO. The data obtained as an input in making a map of the concentration of radon in houses of Kalimantan Selatan as part of the map of the concentration of radon in Indonesia.

The design of South Kalimantan Souvenir Center is motivated by the number of tourists visiting South Kalimantan, especially Banjarmasin. One of the influential needs of the increase in tourists is the need for local specialties. Souvenir shops in Banjarmasin currently are less representative, so the existence of a souvenir center that sells a variety of South Kalimantan specialty products in one place that has local characteristics so that tourists not only shop but also get a tour experience. The problem solving method applied is the Metaphor Architecture method which refers to the building design stage as a certain character from a formation or object that is unique to Banjarmasin. The design concept applies the concept of one stop shopping where this souvenir center is able to accommodate a variety of typical products of South Kalimantan in one place. The result of the design is in the form of a building design that can become one of the icons of the city of Banjarmasin that accommodates souvenir shopping facilities in one place.

This research departs from the activities that are often done by the Banjar community which is always identified with Islam. Sociologically, the identity of the Banjar community with Islam refers to a social identity that reflects a common social bonding foundation. Historically, Islam was used as a pivot of trading system by Banjar society. This means that the behavior of Banjar people can be searched the source on Islamic references, including in it is the behavior of Banjar people in trading and selling both in the study of verses and hadith. This study aims to find out how to buy and sell floating market in South Kalimantan, how to buy and sell transaction agreement in floating market in South Kalimantan and what is the underlying proposition of people in South Kalimantan in trading and selling floating market. Thus, at least that has been the point of trouble can be revealed and can be scientific information that brightens. This study aims to describe 1) the focus point of illustration of the title of the first winner of the contest writing opinion of the senior high school level in South Kalimantan? 2) the focal point of information information of the first winner of writing contest for high school level opinion in South Kalimantan; 3) the focal point of illocution of the moral message of the first winner of the high school opinion writing contest in South Kalimantan. The study was conducted in October 2016 at Balai Bahasa Balai. The method used is qualitative deskreptif. The technique used in this paper is the sampling purposive sampling. The sample used as data is the first winner of the contest for writing the opinion of the senior high school level in South Kalimantan, in South Kalimantan Language Hall, in 2016. This first winner is named Norhidayah, a student of SMAN 4 Banjarbaru, with the title of Language Role in Introducing Children of Nation. Data analysis is done by steps, data collection, data identification, classification, selection and interpretation. The results of data analysis are presented in ordinary words with technical terminology. Based on the results of the study of the focal point of the article, the first winner of the South Kalimantan high school opinion writing contest includes the focus point of the title illusion, the focus point of information illocution, and the focus point of the illustration of the moral mandate. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwamasyarakat Dayak Maanyan menggunakan mantra untuk berbagai keperluan hidup, antara lainuntuk pelindung diri, penawar racun, menyembuhkan orang sakit, menangkap ikan, bercocok tanam,atau untuk keperluan hidup yang lain. Dalam mantra yang digunakan ditemukan sejumlah kosakata36yang merepresentasikan kepercayaan dan aspek sosial-budaya masyarakat Dayak Maanyan. Peristiwa-peristiwa itu terjadi dalam kehidupan yang memiliki latar belakang berbeda dengan daerah lain. Sastra Banjar dan penulisnya memiliki kekhasan masing-masing dari waktu ke waktu. Perkembangan sastra pascakemerdekaan tahun 1950—1959 memiliki ciri yang khas, meskipun karya sastra yang berkembang memiliki kategori yang sama, yakni puisi, prosa, dan drama. Ciri-ciri yang khas itu, dapat dikatakan karena beberapa faktor, antara lain karena bangsa ini kondisi transisi pascakemerdekaan. Berdasarkan uraian itu, masalah dalam penelitian ini akan membahas tentang perkembangan sastra pascakemerdekaan tahun 1950—1959 dengan latar belakang kehidupan masyarakatnya sebagai pemilik sastra daerah Banjar di Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Metode ini digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang perkembangan sastra daerah di Kalimantan Selatan dan kemudian menjadi bahan analisis. The percentage of early marriages in South Kalimantan is the highest in Indonesia but the poverty rate in this province is the third lowest. This gives an early indication that early marriages in the province are not associated with poverty. Therefore, the case of early marriages in South Kalimantan is interesting to be observed. This study investigates what are the causes of early marriages in South Kalimantan and whether early marriages have a correlation with poverty and other indicators such as education and health levels. To answer that, data collection is done by documentation of interviews transcript and data report from the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan. This study finds that the causes of early marriages in South Kalimantan relate to economic problems and as a way to protect families. This study also finds that there is a significant negative correlation between early marriages and the level of education ( -0,005 < 0,05) and between early marriages and health (-0,001 < 0,05). Surprisingly, there is no significant correlation between early marriages and poverty (0,073 > 0,05). This means that the higher the number of early marriages, the lower the level of education and health and vice versa. This finding is important for policy makers, communities, and religious leaders to focus on supporting public education to prevent early marriages and break the cycle of problems associated with early marriages. Persentase pernikahan dini di Kalimantan Selatan tertinggi di Indonesia tetapi angka kemiskinan di Provinsi ini berada posisi tiga terendah. Hal tersebut memberi petunjuk awal bahwa pernikahan dini di provinsi ini tidak berhubungan dengan kemiskinan. Oleh karena itu, kasus pernikahan dini di Kalimantan Selatan menarik untuk dicermati. Penelitian ini mencari penyebab terjadinya pernikahan dini di Kalimantan Selatan dan korelasi antara pernikahan dini dengan tingkat pendidikan, kesehatan, dan kemiskinan. Untuk menjawab itu pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dokumentasi transkrip wawancara dan laporan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penyebab terjadinya pernikahan dini di Kalimantan Selatan adalah permasalahan ekonomi dan sebagai cara untuk melindungi keluarga. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pernikahan dini berkorelasi signifikan dengan tingkat pendidikan (-0,005 < 0,05) dan kesehatan (-0,001 < 0,05) dengan nilai negatif, tetapi pernikahan dini tidak berkorelasi signifikan dengan kemiskinan (0,073 > 0,05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika persentase pernikahan dini menurun, tingkat pendidikan dan angka harapan hidup akan meningkat. Temuan ini penting untuk pengambil kebijakan, komunitas, serta tokoh agama untuk fokus pada dukungan terhadap pendidikan masyarakat untuk mencegah pernikahan dini dan memutus siklus permasalahan yang terkait dengan pernikahan dini.

Abstract
This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of National Economic Recovery program (Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional/PEN) in supporting the level of walfare in South Kalimantan. In measuring the level of effectiveness, the indicators used are Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the Open Unemployment Rate. The methods used in this article are the modelling of the exponential trend and the ARIMA time series forecasting. The measurement result shows that the PEN program that has been implemented in 2020 effectively supported the GRDP level of South Kalimantan better than the prognosis of the condition without the implementation of the PEN program. The PEN program also effectively holding back the rate of increase in the open unemployment rate in South Kalimantan to 4.74 percent, compared to the estimated condition without the implementation of the PEN program, which is 5.19 percent.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas program Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional (PEN) dalam menopang tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat di Kalimantan Selatan. Indikator yang digunakan dalam mengukur tingkat efektivitas program PEN adalah Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT). Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah pemodelan Trend Eksponensial dan Forecasting Deret Waktu ARIMA. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa program PEN tahun 2020 secara efektif menopang tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat Kalimantan Selatan sehingga mendorong tingkat PDRB Kalimantan Selatan jauh lebih baik dibandingkan dengan prognosis kondisi tanpa diimplementasikannya program PEN. Program PEN dapat menahan laju pertambahan angka pengangguran terbuka di Kalimantan Selatan menjadi 4,74 persen, dibandingkan perkiraan kondisi tanpa diimplementasikannya program PEN yaitu 5,19 persen.

This article intends to discuss the development of the Salafi-Wahabi movement in South Kalimantan in relation to conflict and integration. In South Kalimantan, the development of the Salafi-Wahabi movement was quite fast. Although less than two decades, this group's preaching has covered almost all regions in this province. The development of this group in recent years has become a topic of discussion among people in South Kalimantan, in both ways: pro and contra. This article employs a qualitative method that contains the study of literature and fieldwork. Fieldwork conducted in Banjar, South Kalimantan, to gather data related to the development of the Salafi-Wahabi movement and its implications to the changes community’s social order related to conflict and integration. The research shows that there are many issues of the Islamic purification movement that caused a strong response from the community that potentially prone to conflict. For example, are its teaching on Tawheed (monotheism) and accusation of many practices as bid’ah (heresy), which targeted respected local figures or groups like Guru Sekumpul in traditional circles. It becomes the main factor of the negative view of the Salaf-Wahabi group. However, there are some efforts made by Salafi-Wahabi to integrate their activities into the Banjar community.

Genotype performance of Tambakan, Helostoma temminckii (Cuvier, 1829) from Sumatera, Java and Kalimantan Polulation using Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) Tambakan, kissing gourami (Helostoma temminckii) is well known as a freshwater tropical species from Southeast Asia. In Indonesia, tambakan is an important commodity. However, total production of tambakan tends to decrease. Therefore, domestication has urgently to be done to solve the problem of Tambakan population. Three different tambakan populations from Sumatera, Java and Kalimantan were observed to find good genetic resources for culture activity. This study aimed to investigate the genetic variation of tambakan especially from West Java, Jambi, and South Kalimantan province using RAPD. The result showed that the highest polymorphism and heterozygosity was from South Kalimantan population among others. The three population observed had the fragment size ranged from 100- 2000 bp. The highest genetic distance was between Sumatera and Kalimantan (0,2877), while the lowest was between Kalimantan and Java (0,1961). Key words: Helostoma temminckii, genetic, heterozigosity, genetic relationship ABSTRAK Ikan tambakan (Helostoma temminckii) adalah salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang berasal dari wilayah tropis, tepatnya Asia Tenggara. Di Indonesia ikan tambakan merupakan salah satu ikan komoditas penting. Saat ini, jumlah produksi ikan tambakan cenderung menurun. Sehingga domestikasi sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi masalah peneurunan populasi tambakan Tiga populasi ikan tambakan dari Sumatera, Jawa dan Kalimantan diobeservasi untuk mendapatkan sumber genetic terbaik yang dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan budidaya.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keragaman genetika populasi ikan tambakan Jambi, Jawa Barat dan Kalimantan Selatan menggunakan metode RAPD. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa polimorfisme dan heterosigositas tertinggi terdapat pada populasi ikan tambakan Kalimantan Selatan jika dibandingkan dengan populasi ikan tambakan lainnya. Ukuran fragmen DNA teramplifikasi berkisar antara 100-2000 bp. Jarak genetik paling jauh adalah antara populasi tambakan Sumatera dengan Kalimantan (0,2877), sedangkan jarak genetik terendah adalah tambakan Kalimantan dengan Jawa (0,1961).Kata kunci: Helostoma temminckii, genetik, heterosigositas, kekerabatan

The low median of age of first marriage in South Kalimantan is partly due to the high number of adolescent marriages that hinder the maturity age of marriage program. Adolescent marriages in this study is the age at first marriage for someone under the age of 20 years. This paper aims to analyze the factors that influence adolescent marriage in South Kalimantan. The study used a cross-sectional research design with data from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS), South Kalimantan Province. The sample in this study were all married women aged 15-49 years who were respondents to the 2017 IDHS, which were divided into two categories as follows. (1) The category of adolescent marriage was the age of first marriage 15-19 years who met the criteria, amounting to 305 respondents. (2) The category of adult marriage is the age at first marriage of 20 years and over who meets the criteria, amounting to 328 respondents. The analysis in this study used univariable, bivariable and multivariable analysis. The results of the analysis show that 13.3 percent of women with low education, come from poor households and live in rural areas, cause adolescent marriages in South Kalimantan.

National soybean consumption in 2018 was not in balance with its production. One of factors affecting soybean production is location-specific improved varieties utilization. The research aimed to identify farmers’ considerations in responding improved soybean varieties and prospective lines. The research was conducted in KP Taman Bogo, East Lampung and BP3T at Tambak Ulang, South Kalimantan. Data collected presented into tables. A descriptive analysis used by calculating means and percentage value. The results showed that crop height, seed shape, drought resistance, and fall resistance were the dominant considerations for East Lampung farmers. South Kalimantan farmers chose growth type, flowering age, harvest age, pod color, non-breaking pod, leaf shape, seed color, wilting symptoms, pests and diseases resistance, fall resistance, and ease of sale variables. Of the ten lines and four Iletri’s improved soybean varieties, East Lampung farmers chose Grobogan for crop phisycal performance as priority I (37.9%) and II Tgm/933 (24,2%); while South Kalimantan farmers chose Tanggamus (23.3%), Tgm/Anj-910 (26,7%) and Tgm/Anj-933 lines (30%). For seed characteristics, 51.7% of East Lampung farmers chose Grobogan as priority I, while South Kalimantan farmers chose Tgm/Anj-931 line (30.0%). It is expected that by selecting location-specific improved varieties, farmers can increase soybean production, thereby increasing their income.

Dengue and chikungunya are increasing global public health concerns due to their rapid geographical spread and increasing disease burden. Knowledge of the activity of sucking blood at night (nocturnal) Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus in some areas of Borneo need to be known. Natural population of Aedes was collected by human bait collection and resting collection from 18:00 to 06:00 out door and indoor. The biting activities of Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus occurred throughout the night from 18:00 to 05:50 out door and indoor in Dadahup and Mandomai, Kapuas District, Central Kalimantan (2015), Pulau Ku’u, Tabalong district, South Kalimantan (2011), Bangkal Ulu, Kutai Timur district, East Kalimantan (2012), and Antaraya and Karyajadi, Barito Kuala district, South Kalimantan (2016). These results showed that the biting activities of Ae. aegypti dan Ae. albopictus did not only occur diurnally but also nocturnally.
