This document deals with the private enterprise in the field of early childhood education and child care. Summarizes the various possibilities and forms of these institutions, which can currently be found in the Czech Republic, discusses their attributes. The aim is to draw attention to important facts and pitfalls related to the establishment and operation of private nursery schools to be included in the register of schools and school facilities. The topic of thesis is a business plan for the establishment of private universities. The aim is to propose a procedure for establishing a business and develop a real business plan for the launch and operation of the college. Individual work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Based on the literature describes the concepts of business, legal forms and business plan with all its parts and appurtenances. In the practical part there are the theoretical knowledge into practice. There is processed actual business plan. Part of the business plan are environmental analysis, financial planning, risk and business scenarios. Finally, we evaluated the results of the practical and possibly feasibility developed business plan. The goal of this master thesis is to summarise theoretical knowledge and characteristics of the corporate image and characteristics of public relations and subsequently to practice the PR audit and the research of the corporate image by the key target groups in the surrounding of the organization. An optimazing approach to the communication process has been developed based by outputs from the PR audit. The analysis and the research were conducted on a higher educational institution XY Ltd. The analysis of the material facts through the scientific literature and company internal documents and personal partially standardised interview were used as a methodological background for the PR audit. The subjective attitudes of the key target groups of interested persons towards corporate image was conducted with the help of questionionnaires.

The work examines the diversity of the status of graduates of private and public colleges in the labor market. It describes the main differences between the two types of institutions. It includes argument for the existence of both types of institutions and the issue is viewed in terms of cost recovery of investments in education. As the main analysis method it is used questionnaires and structured interviews with personnel agencies. The main hypothesis of this study was proved. It means that graduates of private colleges are evaluated worse than graduates of public universities in the labor market.

The aim of the master thesis named Valuation of the company Bankovní akademie - Gymnázium a Střední odborná škola, a.s. is to estimate market value of the company as at the date of August 31, 2015. The common valuation methods are used in the process of determination of the value. At first, the company is being shortly introduced, which is followed by a strategic and a financial analysis in order to examine the companys financial soundness and assess the perspective of the companys future. The conclusions of the analysis are used for value drivers prognosis and financial plan elaboration, which is followed by valuation of the company. Taking into account the good prospects of the company I choose the DCF equity method to determine its value. The comparable transactions method is used as a supplemental valuation method.

This thesis is a response to current education reform in the Czech Republic. EU objective and their long-term goals will be defined in the introduction. The main objective of the thesis is comparison of two different educational systems, both of which are under control of the European Union. There are two countries selected for this paper, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Not only the educational systems, but also the method of financing is compared. The Czech educational system is entirely dependent on public funding for their educational system, while in Netherlands a significant part of the finances going to the educational system is covered by students themselves. Besides other things current issues in educational sector, which are faced by selected countries, will be discussed in the thesis as well. Two private schools were chosen for comparison to illustrate the situation of private education in the Czech Republic, University of Finances and Administration and The European Polytechnic Institute in Kunovice.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to compare public and private high school system with respect to selected data. Firstly, conceptions of quality in education, the inspection of the quality based on the Czech School Inspectorate (ČŠI), international tests or the quality school criteria given by the ČŠI will be characterized in the theoretical part. The high school system in Czechia with respect to the establisher, the historical development, the offer of disciplines, the relationship with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT) and financing will be described. It will be characterized the private school system at an international level to compare studies comparing public and private schools. The chapter about equal educational opportunities in conditions of Czech schools will be added too. Educational conditions and results in the selected period (2017-2019) will be analyzed in the analytical part. For the purposes of the analysis, the quality school criteria will be used. The data of the Center for Finding Results in Education (CZVV) will be analyzed too with respect to results of the school-leaving exam and shares of failed students from all high schools and then separately from grammar schools and vocational schools. The diploma thesis describes the role of Montessori schools in a small town. In large cities, the range of educational opportunities is more varied; in a small town, Montessori schools are often the only alternative to regular primary schools. For the purpose of the research, the qualitative design of the multi-case study was chosen. Two schools participated in the research. Through in-depth interviews with five parents, four teachers and two school founders, initial expectations and their fulfillment were identified from the perspective of all groups of respondents. Parents expect a friendly and safe environment, an individual approach, and respect for the child, a cooperative environment, a stimulating way of teaching, support for the children's internal motivation, freedom and responsibility at the same time. Teachers' expectations consisted in the possibility of applying alternative ways of teaching with regard to the individuality of the pupil, respecting the approach and cooperating team. This diploma thesis deals with reading literacy in preschool education. The thesis compares the reading literacy development in public and private education. The theoretical part of this thesis presents reading literacy - definition of the concept and subsequent delimitation in different age groups with specific focus on preschool age. Next, the theoretical part of the thesis discusses selected empirical studies in the field of reading literacy, both Czech studies and international studies. The thesis further focuses on functioning of public and private preschool institutions. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis, reading is described in terms of contents of activities in preschool institutions. Empirical part of the thesis involves qualitative research that aimed to explore how reading literacy is developed in preschool children in public and private institutions. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with 10 participants: 5 teachers employed at state kindergartens and 5 teachers employed at private kindergartens. Title: General Project for Private Kindergardens Objectives: The primary aim of this diploma thesis is a survey of quality in organization of physical activities at the private kindergardens in Liberec. The secondary aim is to create a general framework for a specific kindergarden incorporated into the Czech Republic Idex of Kindergardens. Methods: This work combines direct, indirect and document methods; namely observing, dialogues, subject analysis and analysis of a secondary pedagogical school curriculum, which is a basis for theoretical and then consecutively for practical starting points of the work. The ascertained data are processed quantitatively. Results: Launching out into the market sector of private kindergardens in Liberec is not difficult. The quality of the physical activities offer shows an average up to below- average level but they keep a leading position in number of children per one teacher. Furthemore, there was found a lack in conducting children within physical activities in the public kindergardens in Liberec. Abstract:
v AJ The thesis addresses funding of public universities in the Czech Republic. It describes, analyzes and assesses the current method of university funding from public and other resources and points out the most important issues in this area. A part of the study is devoted to the topic of introducing tuition fees as one of the possible methods of students' participation on the university's funding. The study provides arguments for and against such measure and proposes a solution on how to apply it in the Czech Republic. In relation to that, the focus is also posed on financial aid to students, specifically student savings for education and student loans on tuition fees without which the introduction of such measure is difficult to imagine. Criteria which the system providing loans to students should account for are considered and further other possible alternatives of the system are introduced and assessed. The final section presents several possibilities from which public universities may obtain funding beyond the basic framework of the state budget.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the innovation potential of private primary schools in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author discusses the current education system with an emphasis on the functioning of private primary schools and their possible involvement in the process of inclusive education and outlines the specifics leading to the improvement of the educational process. The practical part was based on a sample of four private primary schools. On the basis of semi-structured interviews, analyses of the annual and inspection reports and personal observations the author concluded that the schools are able to offer a more personalized approach to the learners; are able to create a family atmosphere; and are able to involve parents in the educational process of their children. The learners of the examined schools, even the ones with special needs, achieve excellent results in the system of education. (in English) The thesis deals with information literacy of students of private universities in the Czech Republic and presents the results of a survey of information literacy conducted in four libraries of private universities. The introductory chapter presents a brief introduction to the topic. The second chapter then deals with private higher education and the status of academic libraries of private universities in the Czech Republic. The third chapter is devoted to information literacy and presents international definitions and standards of an information-literate university student. The current status and activities in the field of information literacy in the Czech Republic are mentioned as well. The core of the thesis consists of four case studies of academic libraries of private universities (The University of Finance and Administration, Skoda Auto University, The College of Nursing, and The Metropolitan University Prague) and the results of the survey for each of them. The conclusion summarizes the results of the survey.

Diploma thesis on the topic "Academic libraries of the private universities in the Czech Republic" deals with libraries of the private universities. An introduction into the issue containing history, present, good and bad points of the private universities is mentioned at the beginning. Another part of the work contains information about associations and corporations where the universities are involved in. Foreign private universities and their libraries are also mentioned for better overview. The work describes particular law documents relating to library activities (libraries in general as well as academical libraries). The main part of the thesis is the review of schools and their libraries. The end of the thesis there is a comparison with one public university and one private university and their libraries. The Master's thesis deals with the issue of social responsibility (SR) in selected private colleges and universities of economics in the Czech Republic. Based on classification and rating of SR activities in selected institutions that was reached through qualitative research (the analysis of the current state) in accordance with ISO 26000, there was suggested an official integration of SR principles to the organisations of tertiary education and CSR reporting. Furthermore, CSR should be integrated to study plans of private HEIs in form of a special course. The recommendations also aim to areas of communication with stakeholders, sustainable development, and community engagement.

This diploma thesis deals with the social responsibility of the economically oriented faculties of three public universities in Brno from the point of view of companies in the South Moravian Region. The results assessed the current state of social responsibility of selected faculties through the ISO 26000 standard and awareness of CSR activities through a questionnaire survey. The main objective was met by qualitative and quantitative analysis. Where there was a low awareness of CSR activities of individual faculties from the perspective of companies located in the South Moravian Region. On the basis of the information found, recommendations have been proposed to improve the current situation by increasing the promotion of CSR activities, by changing the length of professional practices and by cooperating individual faculties with enterprises through coworking centers.

Abstract:
The diploma thesis focuses on teaching grammar in the context of in-company language courses. What needs to be taken into consideration are both the psychological aspects of adult learners and the sociological characteristics of a typical course participant, their position of a client which is connected to high expectations of the service provided - language tuition. The role of the teacher in an in-company course is much less authoritative than in a traditional course and teachers become rather partners or coaches for the learners. The pedagogical research conducted among 172 Czech in-company learners with the help of an electronic questionnaire shows that the main aim of in-company students is to be able to communicate efficiently in real-life situations from their private and working lives. It is the role of the teacher, or the coursebook author, to choose which grammar structures are necessary to succeed in the respective situations. Therefore, the most suitable method for teaching grammar in the context of in-company courses is the Engage, Study, Activate method combined with the eclectic method.

This diploma thesis deals with the situation of emerging private elementary schools in the Czech Republic. As this is a new phenomenon, only recognised in the past few years, there is little detailed evidence that would provide the necessary information about these schools; such as what kind of schools are registered and why they were created. This paper aim is to identify and describe the main types of these schools and understand their functions. The first part is to comprehend the shift in education and stress out the influence and role of new actors. This is achieved through providing the different perspectives on education and through description of supply and demand for education. This new phenomenon is also supported by the Theory of Exit, Voice & Loyalty which explains behaviour of private school's initiators and founders. The thesis also examines different authors' and publications' views on alternative and traditional schooling, private, public and non-public schools and the difficulties in comparison across different educational systems. The practical part and its research offers systematic and objective evaluation of the new schools being established and how they work. The dissertation deals with the relationship between sport and the law, in conjunction with private international law. For more than a century sport passed through an important period of development. Many sports have been successfully forgotten, some have survived, and many can be included as the new sports with a tradition of several years or decades. Legal theory and legal practice so far took no particular need to take the issue of sports opinion. Sport is an objectively existing category in nature regardless the law. However, questions regularly associated with sports injuries and their resulting consequences emerged. The growing need for legal regulation of sport industry is primarily related to risks that sports bring to their surroundings and also to athletes. In the foreground there is the application of civil law, which affects compensation for damage to health and sports injuries. Clear solution has not been found to this day. The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate the current state winter sports legislation with an emphasis on skiing. The main topic of the dissertation is responsibility for damages in connection with ski injuries.
