Introduction:La fibrose retro-peritoneale est une maladie rare, pouvant entrainer une insuffisance renale chronique. Lobjectif de notre travail etait dapporter les caracteristiques clinico-radiologique et therapeutique de la fibrose retro-peritoneale idiopathique. Materiel et Methodes:Etude retrospective portant sur 10 cas de fibrose retro-peritoneales idiopathiques, entre Janvier 2019 et Decembre 2023 dans le service de nephrologie et dhemodialyse du Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire du PointG. Les parametres utilises etaient les donnees socio-epidemiologiques, clinques et therapeutiques. Resultats:Nous avions colliges 10 cas de fibrose retro peritoneale sur une periode 5 ans. Le sexe masculin etait predominant avec un âge moyen de 57 ans.Les Œdemes des membres inferieurs, lalteration de letat general, lamaigrissement et Hypertension arterielle (HTA) etaient des signes cliniques les plus frequents dans notre serie.Le bilan biologique et radiologique etait realise chez tous nos patients.Le scanner et lImagerie par resonance (IRM) ont permis devoquer le diagnostic de la fibrose retro-peritoine dans 100% des cas. Letude anatomo-pathologique a ete realisee chez 5 de nos patients pour la confirmation du diagnostic positif.La corticotherapie a ete prescrite chez 5 patients, la mise en place dune sonde JJ chez tous les patients. Le recours aux immunosuppresseurs et au Tamoxifene navait pas ete necessaire. Levolution etait marquee par la normalisation de fonction renale chez 7 patients. Conclusion:La fibrose retro-peritoneale est une cause rare dinsuffisance renale. Les recidives tardives sont possibles. Une surveillance clinique, biologique et radiologique rapprochee est imperative.

INTRODUCTION : La biopsie de la prostate guidée par l'imagerie par résonance magnétique (IRM) a une sensibilité plus élevée que la biopsie échoguidée, mais sa réalisation nécessite un matériel spécifique d'IRM interventionnelle, ce qui n'est pas disponible dans notre contexte. Par conséquent, la biopsie guidée par ultrasons reste d'un grand intérêt pour le diagnostic du cancer de la prostate. L’objectif de notre travail était d'évaluer notre pratique de la biopsie transrectale échoguidée de la prostate à l'aide d'une sonde endorectale en décrivant la technique et en évaluant la morbidité et les résultats. MATERIELS ET METHODES : Il s'agit d'une étude rétrospective et descriptive des biopsies prostatiques échoguidées réalisées sur une période de deux ans. Les paramètres étudiés étaient la fréquence de la procédure, l'âge, les résultats de l'examen rectal, le taux de PSA total. Des statistiques descriptives ont été réalisées, et la comparaison des variables qualitatives a été faite par le test du Chi-2 avec une signifiance statistique fixée à α<5%. RESULTATS : Deux cent-et-trente-et-un patients ont été inclus sur une période de deux ans. L'âge moyen de nos patients était de 65 ± 8,2 ans. Le résultat de l'examen rectal était suspect dans 36,9% des cas et le PSA total médian était de 19,8 ng/ml (0,1 – 5.936 ng/ml). L'adénocarcinome prostatique a été le plus fréquent, représentant 53,7% des résultats. Des complications ont été observées chez 16 patients (6,9 %) avec une prédominance de l'hématurie initiale. CONCLUSION : Dans notre série, le taux de détection du cancer était significatif et le taux de complications était acceptable à 6.9%.

Matt und vor Seekrankheit taumelnd, stellte man die Arbeit an Bord ein und beschloss, geduldig auf das Ende zu warten. Der Erzähler berichtet, wie ein «Gott sei uns gnädig!» ausgerufen wurde. Bald darauf habe er das Bewusstsein verloren, aber doch noch spüren können, wie das Schiff an einem harten Felsen «zerscheiterte». Erst am folgenden Tag sei er wieder aufgewacht: auf einer Sandbank liegend, «an der Sonne», die ihm neue Kraft gab, und unter klarem Himmel. Neben ihm seine künftige Frau.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to present the design and field test results of an LED (light emitting diode) lamp for integrated pest management (IPM) and other entomological studies. The light spectrum of the LEDs was tuned to optimize insect attraction and lower energy consumption. An electronic circuit with control software was integrated with the lamp, enabling it to operate in standalone mode, automatically identify night and day, monitor and control the battery charge with energy from a photovoltaic solar panel, protect the battery against over-discharge, and provide feedback about the operating status of the system. Additionally, energy consumption is about five times lower than that of the fluorescent lamp, reducing the battery and solar panel size needed for its energy supply. In the 2017/2018 growing season, the smart LED lamp was installed in a Sonne light trap in an irrigated rice field, and the total number of insects captured was compared with the number collected in a conventional light trap fitted with a traditional 15 W black light fluorescent lamp. Total captures in the Sonne trap were approximately three times greater than in the conventional system.

Comunicamos nuestra experiencia con la aplicación del inmunoensayo enzimático al diagnóstico serológico de Plasmodium vivax con antígeno homólogo. Este se obtuvo a partir de una muestra de sangre de un paciente y luego de lisar los glóbulos rojos con detergente (NP-40). En un "pool" conformado con 11 sueros de pacientes con malaria por P. vivax se encontraron anticuerpos de las clases IgM, IgG e IgA. Se introdujo además la proteína A como sonda secundaria para determinar la respuesta anti-P. vivax en una muestra de 30 sueros de pacientes con un primer episodio palúdico. Se encontró un 93% de correlación con el diagnóstico parasitológico y la prueba resultó específica y reproducible.

This research aims to describe the phenomenon of word processing which has socio-cultural meaning. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is research used to obtain more in-depth data, namely data that contains meaning. The meaning in question is the actual data in the form of words, sentences and discourse. The data in this research are words, phrases, sentences written by social media users which imply socio-cultural meaning. Data collection techniques in this research are library techniques and note-taking techniques. Library technique is a data collection technique by examining books and journal articles that are related to the problem being solved. The note technique is a technique for noting several forms that are relevant for research on written language use. The data analysis technique in research is descriptive analysis through the steps of identifying data, classifying data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. As a result of this research, the researcher found five examples of socio-cultural words, including: 1) Black skin, curly hair, I'm Papuan Bae sonde bae land of Timor lebe bae 3) Jogja is special, the country is special, the people are special, Bali Island Attractive Gods, Ama Mawolo, Ina Marawi.

A Hiperplasia Prostática Benigna (HPB) é uma condição extremamente prevalente em homens, que geralmente cursa com sintomas incomodativos do trato urinário inferior. Tratamentos cirúrgicos minimamente invasivos, como o Urolift® e o HoLEP, surgiram como intervenções eficazes e seguras, cada um com suas vantagens e limitações. A partir disso, objetivou-se comparar dados objetivos intra e pós-operatórios entre estas duas técnicas, a fim de analisar se há superioridade de alguma. Para tanto, o estudo adotou como metodologia uma coorte retrospectiva. Os pacientes foram divididos em dois grupos, cada um submetido a uma das técnicas em um hospital privado de Curitiba, Paraná. Os dados coletados foram: idade, volume prostático, tempo cirúrgico, internamento, sonda vesical, complicações intra e pós-operatórias e ejaculação retrógrada. O programa IBM SPSS Statistics v.28.0 foi utilizado para análise, que envolveu descrição das variáveis, Teste T de Student ou Mann-Whitney para variáveis quantitativas contínuas e teste qui-quadrado ou exato de Fisher para variáveis categóricas. Os resultados revelaram diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre os grupos no que diz respeito ao volume prostático (p = 0,004) e tempo cirúrgico (p < 0,001). Não foram observadas diferenças significativas em relação à idade (p = 0,130), complicações intraoperatórias (p = 1,000), tempo de internamento (p = 0,086), tempo de sonda vesical (p = 0,100), ocorrência de sangramento pós-operatório (p = 0,489) e ocorrência de ejaculação retrógrada (p = 0,642). Concluímos que a técnica Urolift® cursou com menor tempo cirúrgico e abordou próstatas menores. Contudo, ambos os procedimentos demonstraram-se igualmente seguros.

Introdução As Unidades de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) são ambientes de alta complexidade que exigem especialização e assistência personalizada, sendo o monitoramento constante e a competência da equipe cruciais para garantir bons resultados. Delinear o perfil dos pacientes nas UTI é uma das formas de prover aos profissionais de saúde, maior compreensão das características individuais e clínicas dos pacientes. Objetivo: Identificar os fatores associados ao desfecho dos pacientes adultos hospitalizados em uma UTI. Metodologia: Estudo transversal, retrospectivo, quantitativo, realizado em um hospital público da baixada litorânea do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. A coleta de dados foi feita por meio de consulta aos prontuários dos pacientes internados na UTI. Adotou-se o IBM®SPSS para a realização da análise dos dados. Resultados: Do total de 250 (100%) indivíduos hospitalizados houve predomínio de pessoas do sexo masculino 152 (60,8%), com média de idade de 61 anos. Com relação ao desfecho, 134 (53,6%) evoluíram para óbito. A idade, o tempo de internação, a ventilação mecânica, uso de sonda vesical de demora, alimentação via sonda, acesso venoso profundo compreenderam fatores associados ao óbito (p<0,05). A sondagem vesical de demora permaneceu como fator associado ao óbito aumentando em treze vezes a chance de ocorrência do desfecho (OR= 13,116, p= 0,004). O acesso venoso periférico aumenta em oito vezes a chance de ocorrência do desfecho (OR=8,022; p=0,001). Conclusão: Este estudo identificou que a gravidade clínica aumenta a demanda por procedimentos invasivos, que são essenciais, trazendo também riscos adicionais, reforçando a necessidade de padronização rigorosa e intervenções personalizadas.

Ehrlichiosis y Anaplasmosis, son infecciones bacterianas transmitidas por garrapatas, actualmente consideradas como problema emergente. Entre especies, Anaplasma phagocytophilum es la responsable de la infección humana. Se trata de paciente masculino de 55 años, que ingresa por fiebre y debilidad. Refiere hiperplasia prostática grado III, tratada desde hace 2 años, requiriendo uso de sonda vesical, a la espera de prostatectomía. Habita en vivienda rural, con antecedente epidemiológico de ocupación como entrenador de perros. A la exploración presentaba temperatura de 39°C, adenopatías de gran tamaño en cuello, axilas, epitrocleares e inguinales, petequias generalizadas y esplenomegalia dura grado III (Boyd). En la analítica destaca leucocitos 2.100/mm3, Hemoglobina 4,5 g/dL, plaquetas 75.000/mm3, proteína C reactiva 5,66 mg/L. El urocultivo reporta Escherichia coli y Cándida sp. En su primera estadía hospitalaria recibe diagnóstico presuntivo de síndrome linfoproliferativo e infección urinaria, tratada con antibioticoterapia. Sin mejoría de los síntomas egresa contra opinión médica. Posteriormente acude a centro privado por exacerbación del cuadro clínico. El diagnóstico se basó en los antecedentes epidemiológicos, manifestaciones clínicas y confirmación de infección activa mediante determinación de anticuerpos IgM positivas. La biopsia ganglionar reporta hiperplasia ganglionar reactiva. Excelente respuesta al tratamiento con Doxiciclina, resolución de síntomas generales, desaparición de adenoesplenomegalia y compromiso hematológico. La literatura reporta que este tipo de bacterias tiene especial afinidad por las células sanguíneas y son responsables de las citopenias observadas, provocando grados importantes de inmunodepresión, hecho que facilita la aparición de infecciones oportunistas que, aunado al uso de sonda vesical, fue el caso de la infección urinaria.

BackgroundIntravital multiphoton microscopy (IMM) provides single cell imaging within intact living systems. IMM of the autofluorescent metabolic co-enzymes NAD(P)H and FAD, optical metabolic imaging (OMI), provides in vivo label-free imaging of metabolic changes. The metabolism of tumor and immune cells is closely associated with cancer progression and tissue site,1–4 so we aim to study metabolic trends during administration of an effective, triple-combination immunotherapy within murine melanoma tumors.5 This therapy includes external beam radiation, intratumoral hu14.18-IL2 immunocytokine (anti-GD2 mAb fused to IL2), and intraperitoneal anti-CTLA-4 leading to in situ vaccination and cure of GD2+ murine tumors.5 Previous work has shown that a T cell response is critical to the efficacy of this therapy,5–6 so we created an mCherry-labeled T cell mouse model to study this response. Here, IMM was used to image concurrent tumor and CD8+ T cell metabolic trends during administration of immunotherapy.MethodsWe created an mCherry-labeled CD8+ T cell mouse model through CRISPR/Cas9 knock-in. We then implanted syngeneic B78 (GD2+) melanoma cells into the flanks of these reporter mice to induce measurable tumors. Mice were anesthetized, skin flap surgery performed, and tumors imaged at several time points. IMM was performed using 750–1040 nm to excite NAD(P)H, FAD, and mCherry through a 40X (1.15 NA) objective. Fluorescence lifetime data was collected using time correlated single photon counting electronics. Murine tissues were harvested and analyzed via flow cytometry and multiplex immunofluorescence to corroborate IMM findings and characterize the immune infiltrate.ResultsHere we demonstrate the feasibility of our IMM platform to capture single cell metabolic changes during immunotherapy administration. Through our intravital imaging we show that CD8 T cell and tumor cell redox ratio (intensity of NAD(P)H/intensity of NAD(P)H + FAD) is significantly increased in treated compared to control mice (figure 1), possibly indicating increased glycolytic activity. We also show differences in protein binding within both CD8 T cells and tumor cells during treatment. Overall, this technology enables analysis of metabolic changes in CD8 T cells and tumor cells in vivo during administration of our immunotherapy regimen.Abstract 43 Figure 1In vivo multiphoton images of immune and tumor cell populations during immunotherapy. Greg war vollkommen erschöpft. Acht Stunden war sein Tag schon lang, und es warteten immer noch zwei Aufgaben auf ihn. Jetzt durfte er auf keinen Fall aufgeben. Vor Greg lag ein riesiger Berg Holz, der kaminfertig gemacht werden musste. Greg nahm das erste Stück Holz und platzierte es mittig auf dem Hackklotz. Er griff zur Spaltaxt. Beide Hände umfassten das Ende des Stiels. Ein gutes und vertrautes Gefühl. Gekonnt holte er über den Kopf aus. Die Axt sauste Richtung Hackklotz. Mit nur einem Schlag schaffte es Greg, das Holz zu spalten. Es war zwar immer und immer der gleiche Ablauf, aber die langjährige Übung zahlte sich aus. Inzwischen war er ein Meister der Spaltkunst. Dennoch war Greg so müde, dass er sich am liebsten Schlafen gelegt hätte. Glücklicherweise hatte er in seinem Rucksack noch ein paar Kräuter, die ihm neue Kraft verliehen. Ein sanfter Schauer lief durch seinen Körper als er sich bewusst machte, dass sich die Aufgabe morgen wiederholen würde. Jetzt war er aber erst einmal dankbar und stolz auf sein geschafftes Werk. Der Moment der Freude dauerte nicht lange. Die Sonne stand schon tief und er hatte für seine Freund*innen noch kein Abendessen organisiert. Er schnappte sich seine Angelrute und lief zum See. Schnell erreichte er seine Lieblingsstelle. Normalerweise bissen die Fische wie verrückt, doch in der letzten Zeit war es wie verhext. Als hätte jemand den See verzaubert. Doch heute hatte Greg neue Köder dabei. Keine Maden, kein Mais, keine Mistwürmer. Er hatte von anderen Waldbewohner*innen gehört, mit einem Blinker könnte man super Hechte fangen. Der war zwar teuer, aber dann musste die bessere Holzaxt eben warten. Für den Fischfang war er heute jedenfalls bestens vorbereitet. Er holte gekonnt mit der Rute aus, der Köder flog durch die Luft, genau an die gewünschte Stelle. Mit kurzen Rutenschlägen bewegte Greg seinen Köder. Am Westufer versank die Sonne bereits langsam am Horizont. Noch hatte er keinen Erfolg. Aber er war ja geduldig. Und irgendwann musste seine Pechsträhne ja reißen. Plötzlich ertönte eine laute Stimme hinter ihm: „Alexander, sitzt du schon wieder an deiner Spielkonsole? Warst du heute endlich bei der Agentur für Arbeit? Hast du den Einkauf erledigt? Hast du Ralf und Rita schon vom Kindergeburtstag abgeholt?“ Alexander zuckte zusammen, seine Schultern sackten nach unten. Er fühlte sich ertappt und schuldig. Er legte sein Headset ab und schaltete den Computer aus. Greg war verschwunden. Alexander stand allein im Wohnzimmer. Er hatte ein schlechtes Gewissen. Seine Arbeitslosigkeit hatte er ausgeblendet. Zum Einkaufen war ohnehin kein Geld da. Und Greg hatte noch keinen Fisch gefangen, die Kinder hatten dafür vermutlich zu viel Kuchen gegessen. Wie sollte er den heutigen Tag noch retten? Vielleicht wird morgen besser. Bestimmt wird Greg dann alle anstehenden Aufgaben lösen. Und ganz sicher einen Hecht fangen.

Here, IMM was used to image concurrent tumor cell and T cell metabolic trends, T cell infiltration, and tumor microenvironment composition.MethodsWe created mCherry-labeled T cell mouse models through CRISPR/Cas9 knock-in and Cre- lox genetic modifications. We then implanted syngeneic B78 (GD2+) melanoma cells intradermally into the flanks of C57BL/6 mice to induce measurable tumors. Mice were anesthetized, skin flap surgery performed, and tumors imaged at varying time points. IMM was performed using 750–1040 nm to excite NAD(P)H, FAD, and mCherry through a 40X (1.15 NA) objective. Fluorescence lifetime data was collected using time correlated single photon counting electronics. Murine tissues were later harvested and analyzed via flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry to confirm mCherry expression in mouse models and IMM findings.ResultsHere we demonstrate the feasibility of our IMM platform to perform single-cell resolution imaging in vivo. We establish that our genetically engineered mouse models enable clear identification and tracking of mCherry T cell populations. In addition, we show that label-free OMI provides metabolic trends and structural information in vivo (figure 1). Overall, we demonstrate concurrent imaging of intravital tumor cell and T cell populations within the tumor microenvironment.ConclusionsOur preliminary results suggest that the combination of IMM and our mCherry mouse models with OMI allows for concurrent imaging of T cell infiltration and metabolic trends. O câncer esofágico (CE) é a terceira neoplasia mais comum do trato gastrointestinal e apresenta taxas de mortalidade elevadas. Essa patologia é mais comum em homens que em mulheres. Isso se deve possivelmente ao fato de os principais fatores de risco do CE estarem associados ao tabagismo e etilismo que são hábitos geralmente mais comuns no sexo masculino. Com a possível disfagia, obstrução parcial ou total causada pelo carcinoma esofágico, uma alternativa de tratamento é a utilização de sonda gástrica para administração de dietas especiais. As intervenções nutricionais devem compensar o consumo energético inadequado com o objetivo de melhorar os resultados clínicos. Sendo assim, o principal objetivo deste estudo é avaliar o efeito da nutrição enteral no prognóstico do câncer de esôfago. Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica integrativa no banco de dados PUBMED das principais publicações referentes aos anos de 2012 até 2020, veiculadas em língua inglesa, as quais foram filtradas de acordo com o objetivo do trabalho. Os resultados obtidos foram: aumento no IMC, albumina sérica, pré-albumina, contagem de células TCD4 e CD8, razão CD4/CD8, IgA, IgG e IgM e a redução no custo total de hospitalização, taxa de complicação cirúrgica com risco de vida, tempo de internação pós-operatório, taxa de perda de peso e incidência de pneumonia pós-operatória. Sendo assim, os pacientes submetidos a Nutrição Enteral (NE) obtiveram, de alguma forma, um prognóstico positivo em todos os cenários analisados.

Background: The aim of this study was to calculate and compare the peak acceleration and peak negative velocity of uke’s shoulder during the course of two judo throwing techniques, Sode-Tsurikomi-Goshi (STG) and Tsurikomi-Goshi (TG). Methods: This study recruited male adult elite judo players with a mean age 26.5 of (SD = ± 8.916), a minimum black belt ranking, and no injuries in the past six months. Participants were selected from the Aris Judo Club, Thessaloniki, Greece, ensuring high-level technique for safe and reliable outcomes. Informed consent was obtained. A Huawei 5T with a 48-megapixel camera was used to record the throws. Kinovea (version 0.8.15) software was used for two-dimensional motion analysis of shoulder displacement during throws and IBM SPSS Statistics (version 25.0, Armonk, NY, USA) with Microsoft Excel were used for the statistical analysis of the data. Results: The peak acceleration of uke’s shoulder during STG was lower than in the case of TG, but the statistical test did not confirm this difference (p = 0.1). The mean peak negative velocity of uke’s shoulder in TG was higher compared to STG, and this difference was statistically significant (p = 0.04). The test–retest reliability of STG throws was good (ICC = 0.74), and for TG throws, it was moderate (ICC = 0.60). The effect size was large for negative velocity in TG (d Cohen = 1.12) and moderate for acceleration in STG (d Cohen = 0.43). The individual test did not show a statistically significant difference between STG and TG (p = 0.2). Conclusions: A statistically significant difference in peak negative velocity in TG compared to STG would reveal that uke is thrown quicker by tori. Further research on impact forces to determine the effective mass of uke’s shoulder is advised.

Primary maternal infection with infectious agents of abortions in women is frequently associated with transplacental transmission to the fetus. This study was conducted to test the utility ELISA assay to detect recent infection with Toxoplasma (TOXO), Rubella virus (RV), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), the incidence of viral hepatitis B (HBS) & C (HCV) in addition the determination of cross reactivity among serological tests. Three hundred forty three women with high risk of pregnancy (who had previous recurrent abortion & congenital abnormalities) & 60 normal pregnancies (control) were tested for the presence of the tests that described in above. The all rate of infectious agents was 22.15 % that divided into 8.88%, 8.02% & 4.84 % for RV, CMV, & Toxo antibodies respectively. Igm Ab of RV(31.5%) was higher than CMV( 17.6%) & Toxo( 3.39% ) P<0.05.While IgG Ab shows the reveres as 17% for Toxo, followed by 6.75% & 7.89 % for RV& CMV respectively P<0.05. Relationship between distribution of Toxo Ab concerning age was not significant P>0.05. incidence of HCV shows equality rates 2.63% within sero-positive Toxo,RV&CMYV, while HBS shows high occurrence in sero-positive for RV ( 5.26%) than in sero- positive for Toxo & CMV(1.31% )P<0.05. Relationship between frequency of abortions & stillbirthsé& infectious agents was significant P<0.05. In addition .relationship between women occupations & frequency of scro-positive reveals significance P<0.05 especially in sera of homemakers (housewives) than other women occupations. Control groups were negative for viral hepatitis &Toxo, except few cases>0.05.

<p><strong>Latar Belakang :</strong> Parasetamol adalah obat analgesik dan antipiretik, bila digunakan dalam dosis berlebihan atau dalam jangka waktu lama dapat menyebabkan efek toksik pada hepar dan dapat menyebabkan kematian sel atau nekrosis sel hepar. Ekstrak biji petai (Parkia speciosa) memiliki senyawa flavonoid yang merupakan antioksidan</p><p> </p><p><strong>Tujuan :</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak biji petai (Parkia speciosa) terhadap gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) jantan galur wistar yang diinduksi paracetamol. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Metode :</strong> Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratoris dengan desain post-test only control group menggunakan 24 ekor tikus yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok. Kelompok kontrol positif yang diberi diet pakan standart, aquades dan paracetamol 9 mg/ ekor/ hari secara sonde per oral; kelompok perlakuan 1 yang diberi ekstrak biji petai; dan kelompok perlakuan 2 yang diberi ekstrak biji petai (Parkia speciosa ) 7,2 mg/ ekor/ hari dengan paracetamol 9 mg/ ekor/ hari 45 menit setelahnya. Penelitian dilakukan selama 14 hari, kemudian hepar diambil pada hari ke 15 dan dilakukan pemeriksaan secara mikroskopik.Selanjutnya data dianalisa menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 23 dengan metode Kruskal-Wallis.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Hasil :</strong> Uji Kruskal-Wallis menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan, uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan adanya pasangan yang memiliki pengaruh yaitu kontrol positif terhadap perlakuan 1 dan kontrol positif terhadap perlakuan 2, hal ini bisa dilihat dari nilai signifikansi p&lt; α (0,05). Eventos de hibridização interespecífica são importantes na evolução de diversas famílias de angiospermas. No gênero Cuscuta (Convolvulaceae), seção Denticulata, há apenas três espécies, duas diploides: C. denticulata Engelm. e C. nevadensis I.M. Johnst., ambas com 2n = 30) e uma tetraploide (C. veatchii Brandegee, 2n = 60). Recentemente, foi encontrada uma outra espécie tetraploide, denominada provisoriamente de C. psorothamnensis (2n = 60). Estudos moleculares sugerem que tanto C. veatchii quanto C. psorothamnensis teriam se originado de hibridização interespecífica entre C. denticulata e C. nevadensis. Para testar citologicamente essa hipótese foi realizada hibridização in situ fluorescente com sondas genômicas (GISH) dos dois supostos ancestrais diploides e com sondas de DNA ribossomal 5S e 35S (FISH) para identificar o número e posição desses sítios. A análise de GISH em C. veatchii revelou 30 cromossomos marcados mais fortemente com o DNA de C. denticulata, enquanto os 30 cromossomos restantes marcaram mais fortemente com a sonda genômica de C. nevadensis. Em C. psorothamnensis, pouco menos de 30 cromossomos marcaram com o DNA de C. denticulata ou com o DNA de C. nevadensis e alguns cromossomos pareceram não marcar com nenhuma das duas sondas. A FISH com DNAr revelou os seguintes números de sítios: C. denticulata, 2 (5S) + 2 (35S); C. nevadensis, 6 5S + 10 35S; C. veatchii, 6 (5S) + 4 (35S); C. psorothamnensis, 4 (5S) + 4 (35S). Variação no número de sítios de DNAr foi encontrada em todas as populações, exceto naquelas de C. denticulata. Os dados de GISH suportam a hipótese de que tanto C. veatchii quanto C. psorothamnensis são alopoliploides derivados de C. denticulata e C. nevadensis. Por outro lado, a análise de sítios de DNAr sugerem que dois ou mais eventos de hibridização interespecífica podem ter ocorrido entre C. denticulata e C. nevadensis.

Bergiaria westermanni e Pimelodus pohli são espécies pertencentes à família Pimelodidae (Siluriformes) e endêmicas da bacia do rio São Francisco. Estudos citogenéticos no grupo já evidenciaram cromossomos B, sistemas de cromossomos sexuais heteromórficos e diversificação cariotípica. O presente trabalho objetivou analisar citogeneticamente duas espécies de Pimelodidae coletadas na bacia do rio São Francisco (MG): B. westermanni (26? e 3?) e P. pohli (28? e 19?). Para ambas, o 2n foi de 56 cromossomos sem a ocorrência de cromossomos sexuais e, em B. westermanni uma variação intra e interindividual de 0 a 4 cromossomos B foi observada. As fórmulas cariotípicas são diferenciadas para as duas espécies (28m+14sm+10st+4a, NF = 94 para B. westermanni) e (20m+18sm+12st+6a, NF=106 para P. pohli). A heterocromatina alocou-se preferencialmente nas regiões centroméricas e terminais, sendo os cromossomos B de B. westermanni totalmente heterocromáticos. Evidenciou-se NOR simples, terminal, ativa e coincidente com os sítios de rDNA 18S no par cromossômico 27 em B. westermanni, e no par 24 de P. polhi, além de sítios do rDNA 45S nos cromossomos B de B. westermanni com evidências de atividade transcricional. Sítios intersticiais de rDNA 5S foram detectados nos pares cromossômicos 1 e 5 em B. westermanni e nos pares 1 e 18 em P. pohli. A localização in situ da sonda do snRNA U2 foi sintênica a um par cromossômico portador do rDNA 5S, par 5 em B. westermanni e par 18 em P. pohli. A sequência (TTAGGG)n foi evidenciada nas porções terminais dos cromossomos das espécies, inclusive nos cromossomos B de B. westermanni. Em P. pohli, sítios teloméricos intersticiais (ITS) foram detectados em três pares cromossômicos, os quais podem ser resultado de rearranjos cromossômicos ou quebras da dupla fita com mecanismo de reparo mediado pela telomerase. Os resultados citogenéticos para estas duas espécies evidenciam uma conservação do número diplóide. Entretanto, variações nas fórmulas cariotípicas, presença de cromossomos B em B. westermanni, com genes rRNA 45S provavelmente ativos, e ITS em P. pohli, demonstraram diferenciação na estrutura dos cromossomos e no conteúdo genômico. Nach zwei coronabedingt veränderten Jahren wollten die Internationalen Filmfestspiele in Berlin wieder durchstarten und mit dem Motto ‚Let’s get together‘ zu alter bzw. neuer Form finden. Filmteams reisten aus aller Welt an und waren bei den Premieren anwesend. Besonders politisch wollte die Leitung unter Mariëtte Rissenbeek und Carlo Chatrian deutliche Zeichen setzen und insbesondere die Kunst – und den Film als Mittel der Kunst – in ihrer gesellschaftlich wichtigen Rolle hervorheben. Politische Krisen spiegelten sich sowohl in der Eröffnung als auch im Programm der Sektionen wider: beginnend mit dem Krieg in der Ukraine, über die schwierige Situation im Iran, bis hin zum Schicksal der Kurd*innen und der Belagerung von Sarajewo im Balkankrieg der 1990er-Jahre. Das aktuelle Zeitgeschehen kam bereits zum Festivalauftakt mit einer Live-Video-Zuschaltung des ukrainischen Präsidenten Wolodymyr Selenskyi direkt in die Kinosäle. Kriegsgeschehen und gesellschaftliche Umbrüche sowie grundlegende gesellschaftliche Fragen dominierten das Festival. Das Angebot zeigte vielfach Widersprüchlichkeiten, Brüche und harte Realitäten auf. Geradezu als ‚Gegenbilder‘ zum Gewohnten waren einige Filme eine Demonstration von Sprachlosigkeit, indem sie Botschaften mal gänzlich und mal in Passagen ohne Worte transportierten. SPRACHLOSIGKEIT ALS MITTEL DER KOMMUNIKATION Survival of Kindness von Rolf de Heer„Nach dem Verlust der Vernunft kommt das Überleben der Freundlichkeit“ titelt der Film aus dem BERLINALE WETTBEWERB. Stille und Sprache als etwas Befremdliches dominieren hier. Eine absurd anmutende Welt, in der gesprochene Worte nicht verständlich, Geräusche jedoch wichtige Orientierungspunkte für das Überleben sind und ganz offenkundig Feindschaft vorherrscht. Die Protagonistin beginnt ihre Reise in Gefangenschaft und das Publikum folgt ihr bei ihrem Ringen um Freiheit auf ihrem Weg zurück in ihre Heimat, zu einer Zukunft, in der die Freundlichkeit noch existiert. In langen, intensiven Bildern durchwandert die Figur dabei die Umgebung, erlebt kurze zwischenmenschliche Begegnungen, entwickelt Achtsamkeit und Überlebenskunst. Die Bedrohung ist allgegenwärtig, ihre Hautfarbe ist der Verräter und kann nur mit Schminke und einer Gasmaske oberflächlich verborgen werden. Nur kurz erleben die Zuschauenden mit ihr so etwas wie eine Idylle, wenn sie etwa inmitten unberührter Natur an einem See sitzend ihr Gesicht in die Sonne hält. Das Ziel entpuppt sich als eine in eine Industrie-Wüste verwandelte Stadt in Feindeshand, die Heimat ist verloren und symbolisch verbrennt die Protagonistin eine Spielzeug-Flagge – ein Abschied. Erneut entkommt sie und macht sich auf den Weg. Nur einmal im Film kommt es zu einem echten Austausch von Worten zwischen der Protagonistin und einem anderen Mädchen. Beide sprechen unterschiedliche Sprachen, es gibt keine Untertitel für die Zuschauenden; somit sitzen alle im gleichen Boot. Es wird in dieser Szene deutlich, dass es auch ein Verständnis über Worte hinaus gibt. Der Rückweg der Protagonistin wird nicht mehr von steter Wachsamkeit überschattet. Am Ende sind es die unerfüllten Sehnsüchte und Vorstellungen, die das Geschehen steuern und noch ein letztes Mal Widerstand leisten. Survival of Kindness ist ein bildgewaltiger Film, der durch die Kameraführung und den Umgang mit Audio eine magnetisierende Dystopie entwirft und gleichzeitig den Fokus auf das Ungesagte und dessen ungeahnte Möglichkeiten lenkt. Im toten Winkel von Ayşe PolatDer Film der kurdisch-deutschen Regisseurin Ayşe Polat (aus dem Nebenwettbewerb ENCOUNTERS) macht die sechsjährige Melek, die kaum spricht, deren Blick aber durch Mark und Bein geht, zu einer Schlüsselfigur einer Geschichte über Schicksal und Traumata kurdischer Familien in der Türkei. Im Thrillerformat erzeugt Polat mehrere filmische Ebenen: zum einen als Actionkrimi zwischen wütenden Attentaten, geheimnisvollen Überwachungen und Mystery-Elementen. Melek scheint hellseherische Fähigkeiten zu besitzen und weiß Dinge, die sie mit ihren sechs Jahren eigentlich nicht wissen kann. Zum anderen der Film-im-Film durch das Drehen einer Dokumentation der deutschen Filmemacherin Simone im Nordosten der Türkei. Drittens das Doku-Material, das Portrait der kurdischen Frau Hatice, die ihren Sohn verloren hat. Seit dieser vor rund 25 Jahren nicht mehr nach Hause gekommen ist, kocht Hatice jeden Freitag eine Suppe für ihn und verteilt sie im Dorf. Die Schaffung ‚imaginärer Denkmäler‘ ist der Antrieb für Simones Dokumentation und basiert gleichzeitig auf der wahren Begebenheit, dass insbesondere in den 1990er-Jahren eine Vielzahl an jungen Kurd*innen spurlos verschwand. Bis heute demonstrieren die sogenannten ‚Samstagsmütter‘ in Istanbul, um auf ihr Schicksal aufmerksam zu machen. Mit komplexen Perspektivwechseln zwischen den Fronten, geisterhaften Szenarien und nüchternen Überwachungsaufnahmen im ‚Blickwechsel‘ mit Melek, die als einzige die Kameras schon längst entdeckt hat, ist Ayşe Polat ein raffinierter Film gelungen. Sie schildert die Paranoia von Überwachung und Verfolgung und präsentiert gleichzeitig ein authentisches Sozialdrama. VERLUST UND MEER Sica von Carla SubiranaDie Grenze zwischen Dokumentation und Fiktion interessiert auch die spanische Regisseurin Carla Subirana. Ihr Spielfilm Sica (Weltpremiere bei GENERATION 14plus) wurde an der Küste Galiciens mit Lai*innen aus der Region gedreht. Die 14-jährige Sica hat ihren Vater verloren, der mit einer Fischer-Crew im Meer ertrunken ist. Ständig sucht sie das Meeresufer nach ihm ab. Es heißt, es blieben sieben Tage, bis das Meer seine Opfer zurückbringe. Wenn sie bis dahin nicht kämen, tot oder lebendig, behalte das Meer sie für immer. Nach dem tragischen Ereignis muss Sica sich im Ort auf neue Art behaupten und ein schwerer Zyklon steht bevor. Die Story bewegt sich zwischen der Naturgewalt der Costa del Morte und dem Mikrokosmos eines ärmlichen Fischerdorfs. Ein ruhiger, teils poetischer Film mit beeindruckenden Hauptdarstellerinnen (Sica und ihre Mutter), der streckenweise die zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen Sicas tiefer hätte inszenieren können. In den erstenMinuten werden Lenas unbeschwerte Kindheit und ihre Liebe zum Meer und zu ihrem Vater eingeführt, ehe in einem jähen Szenenwechsel die Trauerfeier auf See den tragischen Tod der Seeleute ins Zentrum rückt. Lena sieht einen riesigen schwarzen Schatten unter dem Boot tauchen und ist überzeugt, dass ein Seeungeheuer für den Tod des Vaters verantwortlich ist. Auf dem Grat zwischen Kindheit und Erwachsenwerden erscheint Lena die mystische Variante des Monsters greifbarer, als den realen Tod des Vaters zu akzeptieren. Der Film konzentriert sich stark auf die Hauptprotagonistin, die beinahe wie im Wahn an der Idee der bösen Kreatur festhält. In diesem Sinne wird Zeevonk zu einer Fabel. Lenas Handeln wird egozentrischer und ungerecht gegenüber anderen, die ebenfalls mit Trauer und Verlust umgehen müssen. Dabei behält die Inszenierung Lenas Mutter, Geschwister sowie auch die beste Freundin Kaz und deren Familie immer im Auge. Das Meer in seiner Symbolik bleibt die unergründliche Konstante: mächtig, unbezähmbar, aber auch Lebensgrundlage der Fischerfamilien. Das Drehbuch haben Regisseur Domien Huyghe und seine Schwester Wendy gemeinsam geschrieben und den Verlust des eigenen Vaters in jungen Jahren autobiographisch einfließen lassen. Eine alte Frau bereitet sich auf ihren Tod vor und ein Junge liest ihr gemäß eines Ritus’ aus einem Buch mit buddhistischen Lehren vor. In Gesprächen zwischen den beiden erfahren die Zusehenden etwas über den buddhistischen Übertritt, wie er in Laos verstanden wird; über den Weg sowie über die Wünsche der alten Frau für ihre Wiedergeburt. Als es soweit ist, kommt der Übertritt und für die Kinobesucher*innen ist es eine ungewöhnliche, experimentelle auditiv-visuelle Erfahrung. Ein spiritueller Film, der zugleich die Seh-gewohnheiten und die spirituelle Erwartung und Erfahrung des Publikums nutzt und damit spielt. Dancing Queen von Aurora GosséMina hat Spaß am Lernen, einen besten Freund, eine coole Großmutter und verständnisvolle Eltern. Als ein neuer, tanzbegeisterter Schüler auftaucht, ist sie voller Aufregung. Sie beginnt ebenfalls zu tanzen, koste es, was es wolle und wird dabei immer von ihrer Großmutter bestätigt. In ihrer Begeisterung weckt Mina auch bei ihrem besten Freund die Tanzfreude, verliert sich aber auch in ihren und den Ansprüchen anderer an sie. Auch hier ist ihre Großmutter diejenige, die Orientierung gibt. Am Ende macht Mina das Beste aus den Erfahrungen und gewinnt an Vielfalt, Nähe, Freundschaft und der Liebe zum Tanz. Der Film beleuchtet Themen des Erwachsenwerdens wie Eigen- und Fremd-Wahrnehmung, die Suche nach den eigenen Wünschen, das Streben nach äußerlichen Idealen, aber auch das Überwinden von Schwächen und Ängsten und die Wichtigkeit von Bezugspersonen, die Halt geben können. IhreOma hilft Mina beim Ausprobieren ihrer heimlichen Leidenschaft, bestärkt sie im Scheitern und im Dazugewinnen. Vor allem bestärkt sie Minas Weg der Selbstfindung. In klarer Erzählstruktur und mit viel Situationskomik entwickelt sich Minas Geschichte und die Liebe zur Großmutter kommt in einer bodenständigen Poetik zum Ausdruck. Ein Wohlfühl-Film mit glaubwürdiger Botschaft. KAMMERSPIEL MIT KAKTUS Adolfo von Sofía Auza Ein Kaktus ist nicht schön, aber sehr robust. Anders als die beiden jungen Filmfiguren, die sich an einer abgelegenen Bushaltestelle irgendwo im Nirgendwo begegnen. Momo sitzt mit ihrem Skateboard auf der einen Straßenseite. Am Bushäuschen auf der anderen Seite zischt ein Bus vorbei – der letzte für heute. Hugo hat ihn verpasst. Damit beginnt die Story von Adolfo der mexikanischen Regisseurin Sofía Auza. Die beiden unterhalten sich – zunächst über die Straße hinweg. Momo will zu einer Geburtstagsparty und ist gerade aus einer Rehaklinik zurück. Hugo hat einen Kaktus in der Hand und ist auf dem Weg zur Beerdigung seines Vaters. Alles, was er ihm vermacht hat, ist ein Zettel mit der Bitte, für Adolfo ein neues zu Hause zu finden: Adolfo ist der Kaktus. Wir begleiten Momo und Hugo durch die Nacht bis zum ersten Bus. Sofía Auza hat großartige Dialoge geschaffen. Die Ästhetik aus Licht, Farben und dem quadratischen Bildformat ist faszinierend. Ein Kammerspiel mit zwei sehr starken Charakteren und einer heimlichen Hauptrolle: dem Kaktus Adolfo. Die Geschichte ist warmherzig, manchmal sehr lustig und im nächsten Moment wieder nachdenklich und traurig. Sie könnte überall auf der Welt spielen. Im Zentrum stehen die Gefühle, Gedanken und Sehnsüchte der beiden Jugendlichen und die global gültige Sensibilität macht Adolfo zu einem ganz besonderen Film. Verdient erhielt er den Gläsernen Bären für den besten Film der 14plus-Jugendjury. LEBEN(S)GESCHICHTE Ha'mishlahat (Delegation) von Asaf Saban Auf Klassenfahrt – Freundschaften werden erforscht, neu gebildet, Grenzen ausgetestet. Nur geht es auch darum, Gedenkstätten des Holocaust zu besuchen und in geschichtliche Gräuel einzutauchen, die beinahe unvorstellbar sind. Ein Zeitzeuge reist mit, um aus erster Hand zu berichten, die Lehrer*innen haben klare Vorstellungen, wie sich dem Thema genähert werden soll; auch, welche Wirkung bei den Schüler*innen erwünscht ist. Die persönlichen Themen der Jugendlichen finden dazwischen statt. Ein Thema, das zunächst schwere Erwartungen weckt, wird hier mit der Unmittelbarkeit der Erfahrungen Jugendlicher verknüpft. Ein Freundes-Trio steht dabei im Mittelpunkt. Aus verschiedenen Perspektiven werden erste Liebe, Facetten von Freundschaft und die Auseinandersetzung mit einer zutiefst persönlichen Verfolgungsgeschichte thematisiert. Dabei suchen die Jugendlichen nach ihrer eigenen Weise, mit dem Geschehen umzugehen. So werden mit einem dramaturgischen Kniff Erwartungshaltungen unterlaufen und ein anderer Blickwinkel eröffnet sich. Der verwunderte Blick auf politisches Gebaren eines der Protagonisten, als er Verursacher und alleiniger Ehrengast einer Impromptu-Gedenkfeier wird, lässt auch das Publikum neu hinsehen und seine Suche besser nachvollziehen. Schauspielerisch stark zeichnen sich die Erfahrungsschritte in den Gesichtern der Protagonist*innen ab. Ein einfühlsamer Film über die jugendliche Welt und die Orientierungssuche unabhängig von den Erwartungen Erwachsener. Ein nachdrücklicher Film auch angesichts dessen, dass der israelische Produzent Yoav Roeh beim Screening auf die aktuelle, prekäre politische Lage in Israel hingewiesen hat.

This research aims to analyze farmers' knowledge and skills in using audiovisual media technology. The study was conducted in Tincep Village, Sonder District, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi. The research period was from April to May 2024, encompassing preparation through to the completion of the research report. Data collection methods involved primary data obtained through surveys, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to respondents. Secondary data was collected from journals, theses, and relevant research. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, with a total of 43 respondents selected based on specific criteria using Slovin's formula. The analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS 26 software. The results indicate that the use of audiovisual media has an impact on farmers' knowledge and skills. The F-test significance value is 0.035, which means the independent variables have a simultaneous effect on the dependent variable. Farmers use audiovisual media to learn agricultural information with the help of applications such as YouTube, Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Instagram, with content including educational materials, tutorials, and promotions.

Die Antworten fallen unterschiedlich aus: von einer vorbehaltslosen Bejahung des hohen Alters der Menschen bei Pierre Boitard und Gabriel de Mortillet, zu einer zurückhaltenden Einschätzung bei Louis Figuier, der nicht prinzipiell das hohe Alter der Menschheit ablehnt, sondern die Vorstellung der tierischen Abstammung des Menschen. Louis Figuiers L’homme primitif richtet sich an ein jugendliches Lesepublikum, bei ihm findet eine Versöhnung von zwei aus heutiger Warte als tendenziell unvereinbar verstandenen Haltungen statt. Für ihn ist der Mensch der „privilégié de Dieu“ und weist keine Abstammung vom Tierreich auf, dennoch stütz er sich auch auf evolutionistische Ansätze, die eine Entwicklung der Menschheit wenigstens im kulturellen Bereich annehmen lassen. In den belletristischen Bearbeitungen steht die Frage nach dem Alter der Menschheit nicht mehr im Zentrum, einzig bei Adrien Arcelins Chasseurs de rennes à Solutré wird auf diese Debatte eingegangen, um sie dann als nicht relevant zu beurteilen, da die Bibelexegese über 150 Berechnungen des Alters der Erde und der Menschheit produziert habe. Bei Weinland fällt die Einschätzung leicht anders aus: Der Untergang der Aimats wird beklagt, aber Weinland lässt die Stammesälteste im Sterben noch die Prophezeiung ausstossen, dass später einmal die echten Kinder der Sonne – Arier – kommen würden, die für den Fortschritt stehen. Die Vorstellung, dass das Leben in der Vorzeit hart und von Einschränkungen geprägt gewesen sei – ein permanenter Kampf ums Überleben – findet sich in fast allen der untersuchten Werke. Die Menschen der Vorzeit werden in der Regel als schmutzig, hässlich und mehr tierisch denn menschlich geschildert, besonders deutlich tritt dies bei Boitards homme fossile zu Tage, den der Erzähler an seiner Gewaltbereitschaft als Menschen erkennt. Auch Érnest D’Hervillys Crek passt in dieses Schema, denn er durchläuft eine Entwicklung von einem mehr tierischen als menschlichen Jungen zu einem Modell für alle Kinder – die prähistorischen wie die das Buch lesenden. Von einem Nutzen des Studiums der Vorzeit wurde also ausgegangen.
