Abstract:
SummaryThe idea of assessing needs both in individuals and in populations is popular in health and social care, but has serious conceptual shortcomings. The concept of needs does not distinguish between the identification of a problem and its solution. It inhibits a consideration of the probabilities as to how effective various interventions may be in any given case — nor does it reflect the iterative process that is the reality of most health and social care. It does not specify goals and oversimplifies evaluation of outcome because it does not take into account different degrees of change. In assessing population needs, there is the special risk of equating service use with service need, thereby entrenching the status quo. Instead of assessing needs, it is proposed that we identify problems, specify goals and choose interventions on the basis of probabilities of effectiveness. The outcome of any given intervention can be repeatedly reviewed with respect to its goals, and priorities may be reset accordingly.

AbstractVan de Vliert embraces a “supply side” model of human needs, underplaying a “demand” model whereby individuals, motivated by psychological needs, develop coping strategies that help them meet their personal goals and collectively exert an influence on social and economic systems. Undesirable climates may inflate the value of financial capital, but they also boost the value of social capital.

Abstract:
Takie rozwiązanie posiada zwykle zalety i wady.

Abstract:
There is also a rich tradition of music in India. Few countries have found such an old and rich tradition of music. Indian music has an inspiring Siva and Saraswati which means that human beings cannot develop such high art without any divine inspiration, only on their own strength. Music existed in India since Vedic period. The Yajurveda mentions several instrumental choirs in the 19th and 20th mantras of the 30th scandal. Which makes the existence of music clear. The history of Indian music is at least 4000 years old. The most ancient music mentioned in the world is found in the Samaveda, the artistic atmosphere of various instruments and vocals developed here. Pythagoras became the first person in Europe to determine the place of vowels by the laws of mathematics.

In my last column in GCT, I attempted to illustrate some of the salient ways in which the lives of gifted students today are significantly different from previous generations. Later in the column, I made a plea to adults to understand that growing up in a time not experienced by previous generations requires us to act in ways that are not necessarily the ways we think we should.

Abstract:
We know a lot about why the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has risen so dramatically since the 1960s. However, social science and social psychology in particular fall short in the analysis of autistic behavior, the real-life manifestations of the disorder. In this address, I suggest that unless we tackle behavior in interaction, rather than as emanating from individuals, we cannot analytically comprehend behavior as a socially real and holistic entity. The particular phenomena under investigation is transpositioning, or how a neurotypical (NT) professional initiates a sequence of action (first position) involving a recipient who has ASD. Then, the person with ASD fashions a response (second position) that is resistive or noncooperative. However, the NT professional subsequently fashions an action that portrays the ASD person’s second position or responsive behavior as an initiation or feature independent of what may have prompted it. Moreover, in reporting on the event in police, clinical, or other records, there is an elision of the prior initiations or first position actions such that the person with ASD is shown to have manifested ostensibly autonomous and anomalous behavior requiring interventions or remediation.

Abstract:
AbstractSocial innovations (SIs) contribute to solving or at least mitigating many of the most pressing grand challenges. Similar to profit-oriented innovations, which are mainly developed by existing organizations and profit-oriented entrepreneurs, SIs are mainly developed and implemented by existing organizations and individual actors - social innovators. While much of the existing literature examines the needs of profit-oriented entrepreneurs and suggests entrepreneurial ecosystems as an adequate approach for satisfying profit-oriented entrepreneurs’ needs, little is known about the emerging needs of social innovators. By conducting an in-depth qualitative analysis of an exemplary territorial context based on 28 semistructured interviews and secondary data collection, this exploratory study aims to shed light on the emerging needs of social innovators. Furthermore, through an analysis of the identified needs, the study explores similarities and differences between the social innovation ecosystem and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Thus, Isenberg’s entrepreneurial ecosystem model is leveraged for the development of a novel social innovation ecosystem model.

Abstract:
The ever-growing e-businesses across the globe have totally changed the landscape of business conventions that have been followed and rooted at the core of business activities for cons. Now the focus of business leaders is not just to develop the products but also its marketing. Since e-business reigns in the digital world; thus, the tactics which are being used should be digital and advanced to keep up with the pace. It follows a myriad of features such as user-friendly website designing, attractive picture selection, responsive web pages, and customer services to effective content writing. An online survey via emails was distributed among the digital business officers who responded to the changing needs of the online communication strategies that can help teachers equip their students with those needs, in the long run, to successfully manage their businesses. A total of 122 responses were received in order to analyze the specific needs of digital media marketers. Some of the factors, such as effective communication and giving importance to customers, were some of the important needs of digital marketers.
