Abstract:
The noticeable changes which take place in museums, regardless of the character of the collected and displayed artefacts, allow to draw attention to a definite turn towards the audience. The inclusiveness of educational activities, which results from the transition from passive to active cooperation methods, causes an increasingly common educational turn within the field of museum studies. The article is an attempt to present the research perspective undertaken by the author. This kind of approach is meant to examine the use of museums in order to change the society. The definition of social responsibility ought to be considered on different points of view while acknowledging documents of museum strategies.

Abstract:
Social networking sites are among the most popular daily activities of students these days. Students are mostly using social networking sites for communication and sharing of their experiences. Facebook is an example of a social networking site, which supports additional features such as creating a profile page, creating group pages and supports possibility of implementing different integrated application with Facebook. These features improve the Facebook experience, allowing users to form groups, where they can introduce ideas and concepts, which can be shared and discussed in a structured style. For this thesis we have created a new learning management system by implementing an online educational platform within a Facebook context. This work introduces a new, complementary style of education, where students can improve their knowledge and sociality outside the university in an innovative way. The platform takes advantage of gamification, which introduces game-like elements to concepts such as education and learning management systems, to make them more fun and rewarding. The goal of this thesis is to extend the educational border to an interesting online environment where students can learn, communicate, and examine their knowledge globally in different courses within our application platform in Facebook.

Abstract:
The current situation in the North Caucasus is characterized by a high level of social tension, the severity of socio-economic problems, the solution of which is possible on the basis of the potential of social entrepreneurship. The lack of a scientifically based methodological and theoretical basis for teaching social entrepreneurship in the system of non-formal education is a constraining factor in the rapid, holistic development of social entrepreneurship in the republics of the North Caucasus. The aim of the study is to analyze the content-structural and technological features of informal social and entrepreneurial education. The research methodology is based on the application of the basic ideas of system-activity, ecosystem, axiological, andragogical and competency-based approaches. When solving research problems, methods of a comparative analysis of scientific literature on the problem of social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial education, methods of comparing and summarizing scientific and theoretical results and empirical information were used. The analysis of the experience in the region allowed the authors to identify and present the characteristics of the psychological and pedagogical features of informal social and entrepreneurial education in the North Caucasus: – strategic orientation of non-formal social and entrepreneurial education on advancing social transformations in the region; institutionalization of the system of social and cultural norms that promote the development and support of social entrepreneurship as a factor in youth self-employment, its involvement in innovative socio-educational practices; – axiological potential of non-formal social and entrepreneurial education: the formation of students’ sustained interest in socially oriented entrepreneurial activity; systematic development of their entrepreneurial competencies; – openness of non-formal social and entrepreneurial education: strengthening the relationship of subjects of social and entrepreneurial education in the regions with the external sociocultural environment, actively involving existing social entrepreneurs in the development of the local entrepreneurial community based on the values of the public good, taking into account dynamic social changes in a wide regional and global context. An analysis of the results allows us to conclude that the development of nonformal social and entrepreneurial education involves the widespread use of interactive educational technologies in the formation of applied entrepreneurial competencies of students, the establishment of a new style of interaction of social entrepreneurs based on trust, resource sharing, value-semantic coordination of ideas and approaches to innovative development of the republics North Caucasus.

Abstract:
"This qualitative study reflects the perceptions and experiences of intermediate phase student teachers in dealing with multiculturalism and social justice in diverse classrooms. The content of Social Science as a subject in the intermediate phase, respond to many societal challenges currently associated with issues such as urban and rural settlement, pandemics, climate change, poverty, racism, etc. -these contents as portrayed in some subject themes, fulfils a role in enhancing social cohesion and tolerance for one another. In an age in which diversity, multiculturalism and social justice are increasingly prominent features of higher education and society, researchers are tirelessly exploring numerous ways to meet the educational needs of diverse populations. Social Science as a subject in the intermediate schooling phase of South Africa deals with the interrelationship of humans and their environment and can thus play an integral role to meet the needs of diverse populations. Through a qualitative research methodology, data was gathered from Focus Group Discussion (FGD) sessions with three groups of five teacher education students from the same race, in their final year, specializing in Social Science teaching. The results of the study indicate that student teachers find the teaching of Social Science in a multicultural classroom very challenging, irrespective of their race, culture, or socio-background. The study therefore recommends regular exposure to diverse learners through mandatory teaching practice at multicultural schools, appropriate training and development throughout the students’ teacher training with supported policies and integration of social justice into the curriculum content."

Abstract:
The growing popularity and use of social media tools have determined teachers to integrate them in the educational process. Many students are incorporating social media tool, such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, blogs, forums, newsgroups, chats and others, into their daily activities and are using them to interact and communicate with their friends. On this basis, social media can be an efficient way to connect teachers and students since it offers new, diverse and socially engaged educational experiences for students in the higher education system. Social media can be used to stimulate active learning for students and it can support multidirectional communication and debates among students and teachers. Also, the flow of information transmitted through social media can be significantly larger than in the traditional environment. Social media has the potential to encourage participation, engagement, reflective thinking and collaborative learning in different learning contexts. Also, given the extended communication capacity of social media tools, teachers can address a large number of students in an interactive manner. The integration of social media as an educational tool in the higher education system offers an alternative for teachers since the current generation of youth becomes less receptive to traditional methods of teaching and learning. It is important for teachers to understand the advantages, but also the disadvantages of using social media in the classroom. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to examine the role of social media in the higher education system and to analyse how these online tools can be used to enhance teaching and learning nowadays.

Abstract:
Many adaptations had to be made to classes worldwide amid the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping students engaged and interested in class became a priority for educators. This pandemic has posed a challenge since it forced schools to rapidly migrate the teaching-learning process to an online platform. Particularly, Gen-Z class engagement has been an issue for most teachers, because students tend to rapidly drift away from class; this, alongside the anxiety and stress over the future and the health of their loved ones, has made class engagement an even greater challenge. Using social media as a tool in class may seem unorthodox but given the main features that distinguish Gen-Z, it can be a useful tool to approach and engage them. In order to do so, three different phases of educational innovations were implemented, coronabunker, teaching with memes, and open thread. Each implementation built on the learnings from the previous one, to develop strategies targeted for the participants. The results indicated that students perceive these implementations as fun, when developing the posts from the thread activity, students stated that it also allowed them to integrate curricular content. This generation shares unique language and cultural references that may provide educators a rare glimpse to approach and start to build a bridge that would eventually diminish the gap between generations.
