This research is part of the teacher-training discussions and focuses on a group of teacher-trainers who teach in an undergraduate Parfor-Pedagogy Program, part of the National Plan for the Training of Basic Education Teachers (Parfor) at a Confessional University in Baixada Santista (SP). This program was created by the Ministry of Education (MEC) as an emergency plan, and was implemented by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Staff (CAPES), with the purpose of achieving the goals of the National Plan for the Training of Basic Education Teachers, by offering scholarships for teachers who teach in public schools. We chose to investigate the implications of teaching in the Parfor-Pedagogy program for teacher professionalism of teacher-trainers. The authors who served as a solid foundation for this study were: Freire (2009), Gatti, Barretto & André (2011), Imbernón (2011), Mizukami (2005-2006), Roldão (2005), Tardif (2011), Tardif & Lessard (2005), among others. The approach for the research was of qualitative aspect. For data collection, we created a discussion group, composed of five trainers, and analysis of two accounts published as books, about the training practices developed by two members of the faculty. Data analysis was developed under the perspective of content analysis, proposed by Franco (2012). Data highlights what teacher-trainers do and what they think of the student-teachers as well as the activities that are developed on the training locus. Student-teacher profiles, as regards to the functional situation of the schools where they work and also to the lack of knowledge about cultural heritage and symbolic aspects of language, has required further search for answers concerning the training needs of these student-teachers. This has led teacher-trainers to develop teaching strategies in order to enhance student-teachers learning and also to articulate academic-theoretical knowledge. This practice has shown that teaching in the Parfor Program has encouraged trainers to rebuild their knowledge and their practices. It is highly desirable that the actions and teaching practices that have been developed by these teacher-trainers at Parfor are properly recorded, discussed and shared, so that it can help to improve teachertraining policies.

Full textThis thesis investigates how the ideas of presence and of truth are articulated in the discourse of theatrical performance, and how actors shape themselves upon the emergence of these objects of thought. It seeks to approximate the voice of two pedagogue directors in activity, Peter Brook and Ariane Mnouchkine, to the concepts of truth and presence in philosophers such as Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht, Michel Foucault, Hannah Arendt and Friedrich Nietzsche, among others. Inscribing itself in the category of Studies of Presence, the methodology possesses a self-referential nature. It departs from four accounts of the author's own experience to approach that which is said of practice in practice, and how statements of philosophy help the understanding of these discourses. It aims to make perceptible that the ideas of presence and truth are confounded as manners of speaking of the actors to refer to something which is not possible to be said.

Full textThis study has been conducted to see how six representatives of the social partners look at working hours shortening and the values that underpin their approach, but also the view of working time shortening in relation to wear and tear, unemployment, members' preferences and ecological sustainability. Previous research that has been done about working time shortening shows that the majority of employees want a shortage of working hours rather than higher pay. But also the reduction of working time in relation to ecological sustainability takes the researchers as an important part. Several researchers argue that working time shortening generates well-being in the individual and that the life expectancy is something that is facilitated for the individual with shorter working hours. Interviews have been conducted with the Swedish Enterprise, Officials and the National Organization, but also the Union and Technology companies at central level and IF Metall at local level. The theories of the essay are the theory of instrumental rationalism, the theory of communicative rationalism, conflict and power theory and the theory of traceability. Results have shown that the social partners 'representatives are fighting for their members' interests, who want higher pay and no shorter working hours, which contrasts with previous research. If the members wanted shorter working hours, the parties had negotiated it, the representatives said. Results have shown that the social partners 'representatives are fighting for their members' interests who want higher pay and no shorter working hours, which contrasts with previous research. If the members had a shorter working time, the parties had negotiated it, the representatives said. Resultatet also shows that the social partners do not consider that reduction in working hours would be helpful in the event of wear and tear injury or unemployment which they instead consider to be solved in other ways. he ecological sustainability where any parties were not considered lay on their tables, but in personal responses, representatives had opinions about ecological sustainability. The result of the study is discussed in the discussion section

Full textThis master thesis is a qualitative research that aims at understanding the symbolic aspects of youth culture of high school students in a school located in Porto Alegre, which is part of the State Education Network of Rio Grande do Sul, from the Physical Education classes’ perspective. The research problem was delimited as follows: how and what are the representative symbolic aspects of youth culture of high school students in a school located in Porto Alegre and belonging to the State Education Network of Rio Grande do Sul from the physical education classes’ perspective? The theoretical and methodological choice by ethnography about the school culture and Youths are supported by Geertz , Magnani , Dayrell, Carrano and Neira , Basically. The fieldwork was conducted between March and December 2015 (10 months), during which it was established direct contact with the daily life and routines of young people in school. Fundamentally, the participants of this study were students in their first, second and third year of high school; in a privileged way, the participants were also the physical education teachers of these students’ classes, which were observed especially during the Physical Education classes, exchanges of periods, breaks and also during some other times of the school daily routine. During the fieldwork, dialogues with teachers of other subjects were established, as well as with the management team, the pedagogical supervision, the school staff and the trainees of Physical Education at the School of Physical Education, Physiotherapy and Dance at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). The dialogues were registered in two field diaries which later helped in the process of interpretation of the data collected. Shortly before leaving the fieldwork (during the beginning of December), it was made a selection of 6 students with whom semi-structured interviews were conducted, in order to clarify some questions that emerged from the field that still were lacking in depth. There was also a document analysis of the State Education Network of Rio Grande do Sul and of the school – documents such as the Pedagogical Political Project, the school rules and the work plan of the teachers. It has been interpreted that the teenagers of the researched school assume different identities according to the context that is presented to them, such as the context of the classroom, the break, the physical education classes or of the cultural groups which students pass through; students "seem to be" a different subject in each one of these spaces. This attitude is assumed in order to bypass the norms imposed by the school, whether the rules of coexistence or the rules posed by teachers, in a way that these young people can thus experience and share youth culture within the school environment. The Physical Education classes could be the environment in which youth culture finds space to express itself, since it deals with culture - the culture of body movement. On the other side, the exclusion of the young students’ culture, which are historical and socio-cultural subjects, ends up making this compulsory curricular component meaningless, thus leaving a space of emptiness.

The objective of this dissertation is to investigate the links between Christianity and politics in the works of Rousseau, links that indicate movements of rupture and continuity between the two. It defends the thesis that, in the middle of these dynamic relationships, there is a process of restructuring Christianity, suggested by Rousseau, in which the political domain overrides the theological. First, I will develop a historical and critical reflection of the Old Regime and of Christianity from the points of view of the clerics Erasmus and Jean Meslier and demonstrate how the culture of Christianity was imbibed by the customs of aristocratic society. Secondly, I will present the concepts of reality and appearance as possible lenses with which to interpret the work of Rousseau with its ethical and political biases. I will substantiate the inquiry by exploring the historical, social and moral dimensions of Rousseau guided by the conflict between truth and appearance as it relates to Christianity. On the historical plane, the goal is to demonstrate Rousseau’s understanding of history, beginning with the improvement of civilization and followed, paradoxically, by the corruption of customs. Christianity is part of Rousseau´s understanding, to the extent that Christians abandon their life of earlier times—of poverty, simplicity and humility—when they begin to cultivate the sciences, liberal and visual arts and philosophy. The decadence of modern Christianity is the consequence, in part, of the change in attitude of Christians in history. On the social plane, I will demonstrate how the departure from the natural state for the civil state culminated in the “fall” of man to the civil state by way of the institution of property and of nascent moral and political inequality until the establishment of a new civil order proposed by Rousseau in the “Social Contract.” In the Social Contract, the objective of religion should be to strengthen the social ties between subjects and prevent individual will from overriding the general will through a “profession of civil faith” to which all members of the State should adhere. In this context, Christians should obey the dogmas imposed on them by the State through the general will, which limits their own beliefs and conscience. On the moral plane, the focus will be to demonstrate how vices invade and proliferate in human nature, having ramifications on society by forming men to live hypocritically, hypocrisy being an integral part of a society of masks. In this way, modern Christianity, Catholic or Protestant, beyond supporting local political powers, was absorbed by their structure and visible customs. By supporting such powers, the majority of the Christian churches encouraged intolerance and fanaticism against those who did not profess their beliefs. In the case of the official Catholicism of the Old Regime, beyond the abuses of fanaticism and intolerance, the hierarchy was practically part of the nobility, and thus, was subject to live in a society of masks and appearances. Clearly the restructuring of Christianity in Rousseau is relevant to a historical analysis because he denounced the abuses of the existing religion in contrast to authentic, primitive Christianity. It can also be included in a social analysis since Christians can live in the State conceived by the Social Contract as long as they follow their conscience and obey the “profession of civil faith.” It presents a strong moral appeal because the accusation falls on Christianity immersed in hypocrisy and in the Old Regime society of masks.

Full textThis research aims to bring to present days the memory of a time forgotten writer, Luzia. We present the life and work of this author, as well as the reception it had in society at the time. We present a recollection of her experiences, travels, wanderings and the pursuit of "self" that the author transpires throughout her work. The author’s work is analyzed, seeking the most significant images, which proves the existence of a magical kingdom in which Luzia sometimes inhabits. It’s also provided a compilation of press clippings, years after Luzia died, converging the opinion of both laymen and scholars, of the writer and her work, while trying to understand the reasons that led her to oblivion. It’s also highlighted the traits that distinguished Luzia as a woman and writer in her days.
