In questo lavoro, svolto durante i tre anni di dottorato, viene presentato lo studio dei sistemi fotovoltaici e termici a concentrazione. Nella prima parte della tesi, si sono messe a confronto gli effetti delle ottiche secondarie sulle prestazioni delle celle fotovoltaiche a tripla giunzione tramite un banco di prova indoor ed outdoor. Le celle fotovoltaiche utilizzate sono a tripla giunzione III-V di forma circolare con una superficie attiva di 4,15 mm2.
