Abstract:
U sjeverozapadnoj Hrvatskoj meki svježi sir se tradicionalno proizvodi po nepisanoj recepturi od sirovog kravljeg mlijeka. Mlijeko predstavlja idealan supstrat za rast i razmnožavanje brojnih mikroorganizama, mnogih uzročnika zoonoza tako i vrste Y. enterocolitica. Tijekom naših istraživanja pretraženo je 159 uzoraka, od toga 109 uzoraka sirovog kravljeg mlijeka i 50 uzoraka svježeg kravljeg sira i vrhnja. Y. enterocolitica izdvojena je iz 2 (1,8 %) uzorka sirovog mlijeka. Od 50 uzoraka mliječnih proizvoda (sir i vrhnje) u 16 (32 %) dokazana je E.coli, u 12 (24 %) uzoraka S. aureus te u 1 (2 %) uzoraka L. innocua. Osim njih u 15 (13,8 %) uzoraka sirovog mlijeka i 24 (48 %) uzoraka svježeg sira i vrhnja izdvojene su enterobakterije, a biokemijski su identificirane vrste: S. marcescens, S. liquefaciens, M. morganii, C. freundii i C. braakii. Bakterije iz roda Salmonella i L. monocytogenes nisu dokazane u istraživanim uzorcima. Nakon provedene biokemijske identifikacije, dva soja identificirana kao vrsta Y. enterocolitica pretraženi su na molekularnoj razini, molekularnom pretragom dobiven je potvrdni rezultat samo kod jednog uzorka, što je usporedivo s rezultatima drugim istraživanja. Zbog zahtjevne identifikacije bakterijske vrste Y. enterocolitica, kombiniranom primjenom uzgojnih i molekularnih metoda dobiju se pouzdaniji i brži rezultati identifikacije. Sirovo mlijeko i vrhnje od sirovog mlijeka izvor su patogenih mikroorganizama (E. coli i S. aureus) i drugih enterobakterija, a našim istraživanjem dokazali smo i patogenu bakterijsku vrstu Y. enterocolitica koja predstavlja potencijalni rizik za zdravlje potrošača i u Republici Hrvatskoj. Y. enterocolitica je znatno otporna na procese u proizvodnji hrane (dezinfekcija, niski pH, salinitet, preživljavanje u hladnijim uvjetima) te u budućnosti zaslužuje veću pažnju i nadzor u proizvodnji hrane.

Abstract:
U ovom radu istraživan je utjecaj procesnih parametara prešanja sjemenki crnog kima na prinos hladno prešanog ulja te njegovu kvalitetu. Prešanje sjemenki crnog kima provedeno je na laboratorijskoj pužnoj preši za proizvodnju hladno prešanih biljnih ulja. Prešanjem su dobivena tri proizvoda: sirovo ulje, uljni talog i pogača. Prilikom prešanja mijenjani su procesni parametri: frekvencija elektromotora, temperatura grijača glave preše i nastavak za izlaz pogače. Nakon prešanja provedena je sedimentacija (prirodno taloženje) proizvedenog sirovog ulja te vakuum filtracija kako bi se uklonile krute čestice. Primjenom standardnih metoda određeni su parametri kvalitete hladno prešanog ulja crnog kima: slobodne masne kiseline, peroksidni broj, udio netopljivih nečistoća i udio vlage. Primjenom plinske kromatografije određen je sastav masnih kiselina u ulju. Dobiveni rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da je prešanje crnog kima primjenom nastavka za izlaz pogače veličine 5 mm, temperature grijača glave preše 110 °C i frekvencije elektromotora 20 Hz proizvedena najveća količina sirovog i hladno prešanog ulja crnog kima. U sastavu masnih kiselina ulja crnog kima dominiraju linolna i oleinska masna kiselina.

Abstract:
Geophysical logs can be used not only for qualitative interpretation such as strata correlation but also for geotechnical assessment through quantitative data analysis. In an emerging digital mining age, such a use of geophysical logs helps to establish reliable geological and geotechnical models, which reduces safety and financial risks due to geological and geotechnical uncertainty for new and existing coal mining projects. This paper presents some examples of geological and geotechnical characterizations from geophysical logs at various coal mines in Australia and India. The applications include rock strength and coal quality estimations, automated lithological/geotechnical interpretation and geophysical strata rating, all based on geophysical logs. These derived parameters could provide input to modelling, control, even ‘digital twin’ generation in a form of geological and geotechnical models as part of the future digital mining. The outcomes can be visualized in 3D space and used for identifying the key geotechnical strata units that are responsible for caving behaviors during longwall mining. This could assist site geologists and planning and production engineers predict and manage mining conditions on an ongoing basis. Both conventional logs such as density, natural gamma and sonic and less common logging data, such as full waveform sonic, televiewer and SIROLOG spectrometric natural gamma logging data are examined for their potential applications. The geotechnical strata classification and rock strengths predicted from the geophysical logs match the laboratory tests, drill core geotechnical strata classification, core photos and the mining condition/behavior observed. These illustrate the usefulness and effectiveness of using geophysical logs for geological and geotechnical characterizations.

U radu je prikazano osnivanje Talionice Caprag u Sisku (1938. godine), preteče Metalurškog kombinata Željezare Sisak, kao najveće i najvažnije metalurške tvornice u Republici Hrvatskoj (RH). Ukratko je opisan postupak proizvodnje sirovog željeza u visokoj peći, uključujući i tehničke karakteristike visoke peći i pomoćne opreme u to vrijeme. Prikazana je proizvodnja sirovog željeza prije, za vrijeme i neposredno nakon II. svjetskog rata. Prikazana je uloga i značenje ing. Miroslava Tomca, utemeljitelja industrije crne metalurgije u RH. Opisana je obnova i proizvodnja sirovog željeza u Talionici Caprag sve do početka izgradnje Željezare Sisak (1948. godine).

Abstract:
Biodizel je prvo alternativno gorivo čija su fizikalno-kemijska svojstva regulirana odgovarajućim standardima: američkim ASTM D 6751 i europskim standardom EN 14214. Proces proizvodnje biodizela sastoji se od tri glavne faze: 1) pripreme sirovine, 2) transesterifikacije i 3) obrade produkta reakcije – pročišćavanje sirovog biodizela kako bi se zadovoljile specifikacije koje su navedene u prethodno spomenutim standardima. Proces pročišćavanja sirovog biodizela obično se provodi dvjema tehnikama: vlažnim i suhim pranjem. Najčešće primjenjivani postupak je mokro pranje. Glavni nedostatak u upotrebi vode u procesu pročišćavanja je stvaranje velike količine otpadne vode koja uvelike povećava troškove proizvodnje biodizela nakon čega slijedi sušenje proizvoda, što zahtijeva dodatni utrošak energije i vremena. Najveći nedostatak suhog pranja s različitim ionsko-izmjenjivačkim smolama je nemogućnost uklanjanja glicerola i metanola iz sirovog biodizela do onih granica koje su propisane EN 14214 te problem odlaganja iskorištenih ionsko-izmjenjivačkih smola. Zbog toga se kao alternativa postojećim tehnikama pročišćavanja pojavila primjena membranske tehnologije u procesu pročišćavanja biodizela. Membranska filtracija je ekološki prihvatljiva i zahtijeva manje energije. Membranskom filtracijom može se smanjiti udio glicerola, metanola i vode u biodizelu do količina propisanih standardima. U okviru ovog rada prikazan je kratki pregled mogućnosti primjene ultra i/ili mikrofiltracije u procesu pročišćavanja biodizela.

Abstract:
U ovom je radu istražena mogućnost primjene niskotemperaturnih eutektičkih otapala za ekstrakcijsku deacidifikaciju otpadnih životinjskih masti te uklanjanje glicerola i glicerida iz sirovog biodizela. Istraživanje je uključilo odabir povoljnog katalizatora te masenog omjera katalizatora, metanola i masti koji bi rezultirali najvećom konverzijom triglicerida u metilne estere masnih kiselina. Definirano je potrebno vrijeme pročišćavanja sirovog biodizela te optimalan maseni omjer otapala i sirovog biodizela. Ekstrakcijskom deacidifikacijom pomoću niskotemperaturnog eutektičkog otapala na bazi kalijeva karbonata uspješno je reducirana kiselost sirovine uz relativno mali utrošak otapala (maseni omjer otapala i masti: 0,25 : 1,00) i kratko vrijeme trajanja procesa (30 min). Kalijev hidroksid pokazao se kao učinkovitiji katalizator. Udio katalizatora u reakcijskoj smjesi utječe više na konverziju masti od udjela metanola. Udio glicerola i glicerida reduciran je ekstrakcijom pomoću niskotemperaturnog eutektičkog otapala na bazi kolin klorida na vrijednosti manje od standardom propisane vrijednosti (EN 14214:2019). Odabrano se otapalo pokazalo selektivnim zbog toga što nije došlo do redukcije udjela metilnih estera. Pri masenom omjeru otapala i biodizela 1 : 1 i 90 min trajanja ekstrakcije postignuti su najbolji rezultati. Pročišćeni biodizel također zadovoljava standard kvalitete s obzirom na udio estera, gustoću i viskoznost.

The response of phalaris (Phalaris aquaticu cv. Sirosa, Sirolan and Seedmaster) and cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata cv. Currie) to 2- or 4-weekly cutting at heights of 2 or 7 cm was compared in a glasshouse experiment. Treatments were imposed over a period of 16 weeks.Dry matter production was greatest under the most lenient defoliation regime (4 week17 cm) and least under the most severe defoliation regime (2 week12 cm). Differences in harvested dry matter per tiller and leaf area per pot among cultivars increased with increasing leniency of defoliation. There were significant cultivar x cutting frequency x cutting height interactions for total winter leaf and spring stem production. Harvested dry matter from Sirosa and Sirolan was greater than that from Seedmaster under 4-weekly cutting, although differences in harvested dry matter per tiller were evident under all cutting regimes. Currie cocksfoot consistently maintained higher tiller numbers than the phalaris cultivars, but leaf, stem and leaf area production per tiller were generally ranked Sirolan > Sirosa > Seedmaster> Currie. When reproductive tillers were decapitated, Sirolan and Sirosa tended to produce more new tillers than Seedmaster under frequent cutting. More crown buds were found at the base of Sirolan tillers than on those of other phalaris cultivars, but the number of buds was reduced more on Sirolan with increasing severity of defoliation than on other cultivars. It is postulated that Sirolan and Sirosa may benefit from spelling in spring, and defoliation to a higher residual herbage mass andlor sward height than Australian-Seedmaster type.

Abstract:
Cilj je ovoga rada prikaz proizvodnje sirovog čelika u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 1954. do 2020. godine. Metodologija rada uključivala je analizu sirovina za proizvodnju čelika, tehnoloških procesa, asortimana čeličnih proizvoda, znanstvenoistraživački i stručni rad te visokoškolsko obrazovanje iz metalurgije čelika.Čelik je najvažniji metalni materijal koji se može definirati kao deformabilna slitina željeza s maksimalno 2 mas. % ugljika. Pored željeza i ugljika, čelik sadrži poželjne (mangan, krom itd.) i nepoželjne primjese (sumpor, fosfor, kisik, vodik itd.). Primarna sirovina za proizvodnju čelika je bijelo sirovo željezo koje se do sredine 1991. godine proizvodilo u visokim pećima Željezare Sisak. Čelični otpad je sekundarna sirovina koja se relativno lako prerađuje u čelik pretaljivanjem. Sirovi čelik (ugljični i niskolegirani) u Republici Hrvatskoj proizvodio se u nekadašnjim željezarama u Sisku i Splitu. Proizvodna postrojenja za izradu čelika su Siemens-Martinove (Željezara Sisak) i elektrolučne peći (Željezara Sisak i Željezara Split). Utvrđeno je da je u razdoblju od 1954. do 2020. u Republici Hrvatskoj proizvedeno oko 9,34 Mt čelika.Proizvodnja čelika u Siemens-Martinovim pećima temeljila se na izradi čelika u tzv. otvorenom ognjištu primjenom predgrijanoga zraka i goriva uz proces regeneracije. Za proizvodnju čelika u elektrolučnim pećima toplinska se energija osigurava primarno iz električnoga luka između grafitnih elektroda i čeličnoga otpada.Proizvodni program Željezare Sisak primarno je bio usmjeren na proizvodnju čeličnih cijevi (bešavnih i šavnih), dok se u Željezari Split proizvodio tzv. betonski čelik za građevinsku industriju (građevinska armatura, žica itd.). Danas se čelik proizvodi u moderniziranoj elektrolučnoj peći (uz primjenu postupaka sekundarne metalurgije: lonac-peć i vakuumsko otplinjavanje) u talijanskoj firmi ABS Sisak d.o.o. koja od 2012. godine djeluje u okviru grupacije Danieli.U okviru znanstvenoistraživačkoga i stručnoga rada realizirani su brojni nacionalni i međunarodni projekti, objavljeno je niz članka u časopisima i zbornicima radova konferencija, izrađeno je 110 stručnih elaborata, izdan je sveučilišni udžbenik pod naslovom Metalurgija čelika u dva izdanja (2005. i 2006.), izrađeno je nekoliko priručnika itd. Visokoškolsko obrazovanje iz metalurgije čelika odvija se od ak. god. 1962/63. (na početku na Metalurškom odjelu u Sisku Tehnološkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu), a od 1979. godine do danas na Metalurškom fakultetu u Sisku kao jedinoj znanstvenonastavnoj instituciji u Republici Hrvatskoj iz polja metalurgije.

Abstract:
An analysis of the quality of rainwater has been carried out in rainwater storage tanks in Sirongo Village, North Tidore District, Tidore Islands City. The purpose of this study was to identify the quality of rainwater storage (PAH) based on the drinking water quality requirements according to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 and knowing the quantity of water in meeting the drinking water needs of the local community. The results showed that based on the quality standards in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 492/ Menkes/ Per/ IV/ 2010 concerning requirements for drinking water quality, rainwater quality in Sirongo Village is viewed from the physical parameters (Odor, Taste, Color, Temperature, and turbidity), chemical parameters (Flourida) and biological parameters (total coliform), meet the quality standards, while the chemical parameters (Iron and pH) do not meet the quality standards. Rainwater storage (PAH) in Sirongo village cannot meet the community's water needs because it is influenced by the amount of water used by each family member and the size of the PAH.

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada usaha tani karet di Desa Salah Sirong Kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Bireuen, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan Usaha Tani Karet di Gampong Salah Sirong Kecamatan Jeumpa Bireuen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 31 orang petani pada usaha tani karet yang ada di Desa Salah Sirong. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Variabel modal memiliki nilai probabilitas signifikan sebesar 0,000 < α = 0,05 berarti bahwa variabel modal berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap pendapatan usaha tani karet di Kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Bireuen. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig FChange sebesar 0,000< 0,05. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini sangat signifikan dan dapat diterima yang berarti secara serempak modal, produksi, harga, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan usaha tani karet di Kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Bireuen. Kata kunci : Analisis Faktor-Faktor, Pendapatan Usaha Tani Karet.

Bakterija Clostridium botulinum može biti prisutna u proizvodima od sirovog i kuhanog mesa s rokom trajanja duljim od 10 dana koji se čuvaju u hladnjaku, a za koje se ne može jamčiti strogo održavanje hladnog lanca. Ova studija slučaja opisuje ispitivanje novog sustava označavanja prehrambenih proizvoda clean label, Rosal XB, koji je osmislila tvrtka Kerry Taste &amp; Nutrition za sprječavanje germinacije spora C. botulinum u kuhanim proizvodima od mesa peradi. Proizvodi su inokulirani neproteolitičkim sojevima C. botulinum i pakirani u modificiranoj atmosferi (MAP). Pohranjeni su u uvjetima koji oponašaju hladni lanac, a u odgovarajućim vremenskim intervalima ispitivani su na rast C. botulinum. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da se u ispitivanim uvjetima može postići rok trajanja proizvoda od 25 dana, bez opasnosti rasta C. botulinum.

In this paper we studied the effect of different amino acids (arginine, tryptophan, tyrosine, and phenylalanine) as nitrogen sources on the growth of actinomycete Streptomyces hygroscopicus CH-7 and the consumption of crude glycerol, obtained as a by-product in the biodiesel production from sunflower oil. The highest biomass concentration (9.5 g/L) was achieved using the basic medium and the medium with tryptophan (9.2 g/L), while the crude glycerol consumption was the highest in the basic medium (5.9 mg/mL) and the medium with phenylalanine (3.3 mg/mL).

Virus krpeljnog meningoencefalitisa (KME) najčešći je uzročnik infekcija središnjeg živčanog sustava u endemskim područjima srednje Europe. Radi se o prirodno žarišnoj zoonozi, čiji rezervoar čine šumski glodavci, domaće i divlje životinje, a čovjek se zarazi prigodno, ubodom inficiranog krpelja. U posljednje je vrijeme sve više izvješća o epidemijama KME povezanih s konzumacijom svježeg mlijeka i mliječnih proizvoda. Cilj je rada prikazati kliničke značajke i tijek bolesti kod oboljelih od KME u tijeku grupiranja u Primorsko- goranskoj županiji (lipanj 2019. godine), povezanog s konzumacijom nepasteriziranog kozjeg mlijeka iz istog izvora. Tri su bolesnika hospitalizirana s kliničkom slikom meningitisa, a kod dvoje se infekcija prezentirala kao febrilna bolest s mijalgijama i općom slabošću. Kod svih je bolesnika infekcija potvrđena serološkom obradom. Niti jedan bolesnik nije bio cijepljen protiv KME niti je imao podatak o ugrizu krpelja. Ovim radom želimo ukazati na zdravstvene opasnosti prehrambenih navika konzumiranja sirovog mlijeka koje u današnje vrijeme postaje sve popularnije, osobito među zagovornicima „zdrave hrane“.

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat suatu basis data spasial dan model sistem informasi jaringan telepon PT. Telkom yang interaktif dengan memanfaatkan citra Quickbird yang bersumber dari Google Earth, Global Positiong System (GPS) dan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk penentuan rute optimal penanganan gangguan jaringan telepon PT. Telkom berdasarkan Algoritma Floyd-Warshall. Penentuan rute optimal didasarkan atas variabel impedensi, berupa jarak tempuh dan waktu tempuh yang diturunkan dari panjang jalan dibagi dengan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan per ruas jalan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa Sistem Informasi Rute Optimal Telkom Bantul (SIROTOL) yang berbasis dekstop dan dapat berdiri sendiri tanpa adanya software SIG yang lain. Rute optimal program SIROTOL mampu digunakan untuk menentukan rute optimal penanganan gangguan jaringan telepon PT. Telkom Bantul dengan hasil yang akurat atau mendekati kondisi di lapangan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi lapangan yang memiliki nilai uji akurasi rute optimal berdasarkan jarak tempuh sebesar 97.06% dan nilai uji akurasi rute optimal berdasarkan waktu tempuh sebesar 96.14%.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p><p><em>Nowdays, many providers are emerging in Indonesia so that they lead high competition among telecommunication operators. As a state owned company that has authorities on the development of telecommunications sector, especially for cables telephone, PT. TELKOM also realize that, so they strive for a better service to the customers.This research aims to create a spatial database and interactive telephone network information system model of PT. Telkom by using Quickbird imagery derived from Google Earth, Global Position System (GPS) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to determine the optimal route telephone network for error handling based on Floyd-Warshall algorithm. Determination of the optimal route is based on the variable impedance of the travel distance and travel time derived from the length of road divided by the average speed of vehicles per road segment. Subsequent tissue analysis results are integrated with GPS navigation technology to help a network technician search for location of interference and network technicians to assist the movement towards the location of the phone to crash in the field. The result of the research is Telkom Bantul Optimal Route Information System (SIROTOL) desktop based and stand alone application. SIROTOL optimal route program can be applied to determine the optimal route accurately on Telkom Bantul’s error handling or at least close to field conditions. It can be proved by field validation results which resulted in accurate optimal route test value based on travel distance of 97.06% and travel time of 96.14%</em><em>.</em><em></em></p><p><em>Keywords: optimal route, network analysis, Floyd-Warshall algorithm, telephone network</em></p>

A two-year old sward of Phalaris aquatica cultivar Sirolan was cut at 2-, 4-, 6- or 12-week intervals and at heights of 2 or 7 cm over two 12-week cycles from June to November 1986. Defoliation treatments were split and 100 kg ha-1 of nitrogen was applied to half the plot at the beginning of each cycle. Tiller density and dry matter production were measured throughout winter and spring of 1986, and in two 6-week regrowth periods in 1987.During winter, high cutting always gave less harvested dry matter than low cutting. In spring, the regression lines relating cutting frequency to cumulative harvested dry matter crossed over at a frequency of about 5 weeks. Below this frequency high cutting yielded more harvested dry matter than low cutting. High cutting gradually changed sward appearance in winter, resulting in better yields at later harvests. At the conclusion of spring cutting, there were more dead tillers on plots cut at 6- and 12-week intervals than on those cut every 2 or 4 weeks, while numbers of live tillers increased progressively as cutting interval rose from 2 to 12 weeks. Regrowth in autumn 1987 was much better on plots cut every 12 weeks than on other plots, primarily owing to the greater vigour of individual tillers, but also owing to higher tiller numbers. The timing of defoliation in spring appeared to be the most important factor governing crown bud production and regrowth in the following season. Spelling in spring is recommended to permit reproductive and crown bud development in Sirolan.

U ovom radu istraživan je utjecaj procesnih parametara hladnog prešanja sjemenki konoplje na iskorištenje ulja. Ispitivani su parametri frekvencija elektromotora, veličina otvora glave preše za izlaz pogače i temperatura grijača glave preše. Također je istraživan utjecaj mikrovalnog zagrijavanja na oksidacijsku stabilnost ulja konoplje, sa i bez dodatka antioksidansa i sinergista. Od prirodnih antioksidansa korišteni su ekstrakt ružmarina, ekstrakt kadulje, sintetski antioksidans BHA te sinergist limunska kiselina. Uzorci ulja zagrijavani su u mikrovalnoj pećnici kod konstante snage u različitom vremenskom periodu. Također su uzorci zagrijavani kod različite snage uređaja i konstantnom vremenskom periodu. Rezultat testa ubrzane oksidacije ulja konoplje izražen je peroksidnim brojem. Porastom frekvencije elektromotora i veličine otvora glave preše za izlaz pogače dolazi do smanjenja količine proizvedenog ulja konoplje. Porastom temperature glave preše povećava se proizvodnja sirovog ulja i hladno prešanog ulja. Mikrovalnim zagrijavanjem uzoraka ulja u vremenu 10-50 minuta dolazi do porasta temperature i peroksidnog broja, dolazi do porasta oksidacijskog kvarenja ulja. Najveća stabilnost ulja konoplje postignuta je kombinacijom ekstrakta ružmarina i sinergista limunske kiseline.

The Jiangnan orogenic belt is located between the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks in South China and is one of the largest W–Sn–Nb–Ta ore belts worldwide. Mineralization occurred from the Proterozoic to Mesozoic, but Caledonian Sn mineralization has rarely been reported. The Jialong cassiterite–sulfide deposit is located in the western Jiangnan orogenic belt. It is hosted by the Sibao Group and in contact with the northeastern part of the Yuanbaoshan granite. The deposit was overprinted by the Sirong ductile shear zone. Here, we present cassiterite U–Pb and mylonitic granite muscovite 40Ar/39Ar ages for this deposit. The cassiterite and muscovite yielded concordant U–Pb and 40Ar/39Ar ages of 422–420 Ma, indicating that Sn mineralization occurred during the early Paleozoic and was spatially and temporally related to the ductile shear zone. The cassiterite is depleted in Nb (0.51–5.46 ppm), Ta (0.01–1.09 ppm), Ti (32.84–423.15 ppm), Sc (0.02–1.45 ppm), Hf (0–1.11 ppm), and other high-field-strength elements. Elements, such as Pb (0.01–8.11 ppm) and Sb (9.92–56.45 ppm), are relatively enriched in the cassiterite, which indicate the Jialong deposit was not directly related to magmatism. Shearing along the Sirong ductile shear zone occurred at 419.6 ± 3.8 Ma, concurrent with the formation of the Jialong Sn–Cu deposit. Moreover, cassiterite in the deposit exhibits obvious shear and brittle deformation, and dissolution and regrowth, suggesting that Sn mineralization was closely related to ductile shearing. The Sirong ductile shear zone and secondary shear structures had a key role in controlling the Sn orebody. The heat generated during tectonic deformation in the ductile shear zone may have produced the ore-forming hydrothermal fluids, and NW–SE-trending fractures in the strata provided the space for mineralization. Metamorphic hydrothermal fluids generated by Caledonian shear deformation extracted Sn from Sn-rich strata, which then migrated along interlayer fractures produced by shearing. A decrease in pressure and water–rock reactions led to the mineralization of Sn and other elements. This deposit is the first example of Caledonian and shear zone-related Sn mineralization identified in the Jiuwandashan area of northern Guangxi.

In current paper, ballasted flocculation as a simulated Actiflo and Sirofloc process with coagulant, micro-sand (MS)/magnetic powder (MP) and PAM was optimized using single-factor and orthogonal experimental method for eutrophic landscape water treatment. A flocculation index instrument was also used to indicate the flocs property. It was determined that the optimum removal rate of turbidity, UV254, CODMnand total phosphorus, with 96.11%, 34.63%, 57.88% and 55.32%, respectively were achieved under MP ballasted flocculation with PAM added 2 minutes after initial mixing. Additionally, MS/MP ballasted flocculation with or without PAM could not significantly increase the velocity of flocs formation, but the flocs size could be increased observably by MP ballasted flocculation regardless of PAM.

Listeria je patogen prenosiv hranom i predstavlja veliku opasnost za ljudsko zdravlje. Teški su simptomi praćeni visokom stopom mortaliteta većinom prouzročeni L. monocytogenes. Bez obzira na politiku nulte tolerancije, rod Listeria je još uvijek prisutan u sirovim proizvodima i proizvodima spremnim za konzumiranje, predstavljajući veliku opasnost za zdravlje ljudi. Za sada još u bliskoj budućnosti ne postoje studije o kontaminaciji hrane vrstama Listeria u Bosni i Hercegovini. Ovim istraživanjem htjeli smo dobiti osnovne podatke o količini kontaminiranosti hrane ovim patogenom. U studiji je analizirano ukupno 238 uzoraka hrane, pri čemu su u 105 uzorka bile različite vrste sirove hrane te 133 uzorka hrane spremne za konzumaciju (gotove hrane). Od ukupno 238 uzoraka, 18 uzoraka je bilo pozitivno na Listeria vrste. Nakon izolacije i detekcije, konfirmacija pozitivnih izolata Listeria spp. je provedena pomoću biokemijskog kita API® Listeria.

Poznati proizvodi mljekarske industrije u Bosni i Hercegovini su autohtoni Livanjski i Travnički sir koji pripadaju grupi sireva proizvedenih od sirovog, nekuhanog ovčjeg mlijeka. Livanjski i Travnički sir su specifični zbog specifičnog biljnog pokrivača na području gdje se proizvode, kao i klimatskih uvjeta i mlijeka autohtone ovce pramenke, tako da možemo očekivati razlike u sadržaju aromatskih komponenti, koje u velikoj mjeri određuju karakteristike spomenutih sireva. Sinteza isparljivih aromatskih komponenti je dinamičan proces koji započinje sazrijevanjem sira do karakterističnog okusa, koji se razvija u vrijeme sazrijevanja. U formiranju okusa i mirisa određene vrste sira ne sudjeluje samo jedna komponenta, nego mješavina komponenti različitih koncentracija. Izuzetno je teško utvrditi koja komponenta je nosilac “tipične arome” određenog sira ili mliječnog produkta. Cilj ovog istraživanja je bio odrediti aromatske komponente u Livanjskom i Travničkom siru, komponente koje determiniraju senzorne karakteristike ovih sireva, te pratiti promjene u njihovom sadržaju ovisno o periodu uzorkovanja. Prema postavljenom cilju istraživanje je obuhvaćalo uzorkovanje i analizu dvije vrste sira, bijelog mekog Travničkog (Vlašičkog) i tvrdog Livanjskog sira. Od isparljivih aromatskih komponenti u uzorcima Livanjskog i Travničkog sira najviše su bili zastupljeni etanol, acetaldehid, etilacetat i 2-butanol. Aromatske komponenete u uzorcima Livanjskog i Travničkog sira su određene HSGC i GC/MS tehnikama.

Phalaris (Phalaris aquatica L.) is a temperate perennial grass which occasionally causes toxicity in livestock. Immunoassays (ELISAs) were used to measure the level of the dimethyltryptamine and related alkaloid group (TRYP) and the tyramine-related group of alkaloids (TYR) in cultivars, breeding populations and wild accessions of phalaris. Herbage was sampled from grazed swards or spaced plants at several sites and times. Component alkaloids in 4 cultivars were also determined by thin-layer chromatography (TLC). Levels of TYR were higher than TRYP at all times of sampling. Alkaloid levels varied widely with site and sampling time, green herbage sampled in autumn being much higher than herbage sampled from July onwards. Plants sampled in autumn usually appeared moisture stressed and this may have been 1 factor causing high alkaloid levels in autumn. Comparative levels of TRYP in older cultivars agreed with published information. Two semi-winter dormant cultivars, Australian and the new and closely-related Australian II, were both higher than other cultivars in TRYP (maximum levels 18–20 mg/100 g fresh weight) but similar to most in TYR. Among winter-active cultivars, Holdfast and Sirolan were very low in TRYP (maximum levels <0.5 mg/100 g fresh weight) but Holdfast was the highest of all cultivars in TYR. While we argue on the basis of the TLC analyses and from previous work that the bulk of TYR in phalaris cultivars is N-methyltyramine, Holdfast was an exception in having one-third of its TYR as the less toxic hordenine in TLC analyses. Other new cultivars, Landmaster and Atlas PG, and breeding populations being developed as potential cultivars for acid soils or with improved grazing tolerance were generally higher than Holdfast and Sirolan, and similar to Sirosa, in TRYP (maximum levels 1–5 mg/100 g fresh weight). All were less than Holdfast in TYR. Two sets of wild accessions, 1 of which is being used in the development of a cultivar for the North-West Slopes of NSW, were relatively high in TYR alkaloids.

Abstract:
Trangie wallaby grass, Austrodanthonia caespitosa (Dc1), is a composite of wild ecotypes collected from western New South Wales. A. caespitosa is a widespread native grass adapted to a broad range of environmental conditions but is particularly suited to low rainfall (300–450 mm) areas of south-eastern Australia. In this region, this cultivar has a demonstrated superior persistence to its close relative A. richardsonii (Cashmore) H.P. Linder cv. Taranna and the widely used pasture species, phalaris (Phalaris aquatica cv. Sirolan) and cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata cv. Currie). This superior persistence was apparent in its ability to recruit new seedlings, even under summer drought conditions. Trangie wallaby grass was maintained under seed increase for 5 years at Trangie Agricultural Research Centre and subsequently at Dareton Agricultural and Advisory Station for 3 years.

Analiz, provedennyj na materiale razlicnyh funkcional'nyh stilej, pokazal, cto v sovremennom serbskom jazyke sojuz posto casto vstrecaetsja i v pricinnyh predlozernijah. V bol'sinstve slucaev imejutsja sintaksiceskie razlicija mezdu vremennymi i pricinnymi predlozenijami, v kotoryh est' dannyj sojuz. Eti razlicija casce vsego projavljajutsja v razlicnom vybore glagol'nyh form i v socetaemosti glagol'nogo vida v predikatah socinitel'noj i zavisimoj klauzy vo vremennyh i pricinnyh predlozenijah s ?tim sojuzom; odnako, imejutsja takze i drugie razlicija mezdu dannymi predlozenijami. Six species of Batrachospermum from Australia and New Zealand have a twisted to coiled carpogonial branch and determinate gonimoblast filaments, and are therefore referable to section Contorta or Hybrida. Batrachospermum australicum KÜtz. ex sp. nov. from large rivers in tropical Northern Territory has a tightly 3-coiled carpogonial branch; B. vittatum sp. nov. from tropical Northern Territory has a characteristic longitudinal mid-whorl band of spermatangia; and B. deminutum sp. nov. from a single locality in eastern-central New South Wales has reduced whorls and long carpogonial branches. The other three species are cosmopolitan in distribution: B. virgatodecaisneanum Sirodot is widespread but uncommon in temperate regions of both countries; B. ambiguum Montagne is widespread and common in tropical Australia; and B. globosporum Israelson is restricted in Australia to near Brisbane in subtropical southern Queensland.

Abstract:
Global warming has two dangerous global consequences for agriculture: drought, due to water scarcity, and salinization, due to the prolonged use of water containing high concentrations of salts. Since the global climate is projected to continue to change over this century and beyond, choosing salt-tolerant plants could represent a potential paramount last resort for exploiting the secondary saline soils. Olive is considered moderately resistant to soil salinity as compared to other fruit trees, and in the present study, we investigated the influence of NaCl solutions (ranging from 0 to 200 mM) in a salt-tolerant (cv Canino) and two of its transgenic lines (Canino AT17-1 and Canino AT17-2), overexpressing tobacco osmotin gene, and in a salt-sensitive (Sirole) olive cultivar. After four weeks, most of the shoots of both Canino and Sirole plants showed stunted growth and ultimate leaf drop by exposure to salt-enriched media, contrary to transgenic lines, that did not show injuries and exhibited a normal growth rate. Malondialdehyde (MDA) content was also measured as an indicator of the lipid peroxidation level. To evaluate the role of the S assimilatory pathway in alleviating the adverse effects of salt stress, thiols levels as well as extractable activities of ATP sulfurylase (ATPS) and O-acetyl serine(thiol)lyase (OASTL), the first and the last enzyme of the S assimilation pathway, respectively, have been estimated. The results have clearly depicted that both transgenic lines overexpressing osmotin gene coped with increasing levels of NaCl by the induction of S metabolism, and particularly increase in OASTL activity closely paralleled changes of NaCl concentration. Linear correlation between salt stress and OASTL activity provides evidence that the S assimilation pathway plays a key role in adaptive response of olive plants under salt stress conditions.

El estudio se desarrolló en 544 alpacas Huacaya de color blanco localizadas en 19 centros de producción de la Región de Huancavelica, ubicadas un rango de altitud entre 4000 y 4800 msnm. Antes de la esquila se tomaron muestras del vellón de aproximadamente 20 g de la zona del costillar y posterior a ella se registró el peso de vellón grasiento (PVG), sexo, edad y unidad productiva de cada animal. El diámetro de fibra (DF), coeficiente de variación del diámetro de fibra (CVDF) y el factor de picazón (FP) fue determinado utilizando el Sirolan-Laserscan. En función a los datos obtenidos se realizó el planteamiento de un esquema de mejora y sobre ello se estimó la respuesta a la selección bajo distintos escenarios. Ayurveda is a science of life that has been around for thousands of years. In Ayurvedic medicine, polyherbal combinations are common for treating various ailments, especially Vata Roga. In the Classical literature of Ayurveda, so many compound formulations are found with more than two ingredients, and Dasamoola is one of them. The health benefits of Dasamoola have been used in several formulations for different diseases like Swasa (Bronchial asthma), Kasa (Cough), Siroroga (disease-related Brain), Tandra (Drowsiness), Sotha (Inflammation), Anaha (distended abdomen), Parswa Sula and Aruchi (Anorexia). Even though this formulation has been widely used in the Ayurvedic system of medicine to cure inflammation-related diseases, no more profound research studies have been conducted to prove its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. From the pharmacological study, Dasamoola had impeccable anti-inflammatory activity. The Dasamoola preparation contains various phytochemicals such as alkaloids, tannins, saponins, flavonoids and quinones, total phenolic content and exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities.
