Abstract:
For increasing heat efficiency and preventing crack resulting in thermal stress, the laws of heating slab must be accurately studied. The thermal stress field distribution in slab heating process is researched, which adopts FEM and bases on the transient non-linear heat analysis theory. The 3500 slab heating model is established in according to the heating technique in mills. The factor of conduction coefficient and specific heat changing with temperature also are considered. The heating process is simulated and the influence laws of furnace temperature and heating rate are drawn, which is very significant in engineering.

Abstract:
This paper presents a design & implementation of 3P3Z (3-pole 3-zero) digital controller based on DSC (Digital Signal Controller) for low voltage synchronous Buck Converter. The proposed control involves one voltage control loop. Analog Type-3 controller is designed for Buck Converter using standard frequency response techniques.Type-3 analog controller transforms to 3P3Z controller in discrete domain.Matlab/Simulink model of the Buck Converter with digital controller is developed. Simualtion results for steady state response and load transient response is tested using the model.

The determination of real-time dynamics of strongly coupled quantum fields is a central goal of modern nuclear and particle physics, which requires insight into quantum field theory beyond the weak-coupling approximation. While lattice QCD has provided vital insights into the non-perturbative static properties of quarks and gluons it hides their real-time dynamics behind an ill-posed inverse problem. In this proceeding I will discuss developments in tackling the inverse problem on the lattice and touch upon progress in the direct simualtion of real-time dynamics.

Abstract:
This paper presents a time-to-digital converter (TDC) based built-in self-test (BIST) scheme for operational amplifier (Op Amp). The propagation delay exiting in the transient response of the Op Amp is monitored by the inverter based TDC, and converted into a digital code based on the referenced delay interval of the inverter used in the TDC, as a result, the digital code is finally employed to determine the test rsults. The circuit-level simualtion results of the proposed BIST syetem for a two-stage Op Amp are presented to demonstrated the feasility of the proposed BIST scheme with high fault coverage.

Abstract:
The objective of this research is to develop the industrial-scale fluid bed dryer for paddy by scale-up of lab-scale experimental data. The developed dryer was conducted by simulation using a two phase model. Firstly, the experimental works by using lab-scale batch fluid bed dryer, was conducted to determine the drying curve of paddy (Xin 0.32 kg/kg dry base). In the experimental works, the inlet air temperature was varied (°C): 40; 50; 60. The drying rate curves as a function of moisture content showed only decreasing drying rate period. Then, a very good agreement between the measured and simualtion results of the profile of moisture content in solids was produced by simulator. Finally, a simulated continuous fluidized bed dryer for paddy with dimension 5 m of length and 1.5 of width was succesfully performed, in which the influence of mass solid flow rate 0.1; 0.2; 0.4 tons/h, height of bed 0.25; 0.50; 0.75 m, and air temperature 50; 70; 100 °C on drying process were studied. This paper considers information transmission issue observed in a large scale test of cellular-based vehicular to everything (C-V2X) technology in China, which is the information blockage for the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) wireless communication. With such findings, we propose utilizing relaying-based information routing solutions by the support of K-means-type algorithm and an on-request relay selection method in a vehicular adhoc network (VANET). From the algorithm perspective, we refine the K-means-based VANET seeding principle with considerations on the global vehicle layout. On the other hand, base station and/or core network aided relay selection associated with vehicle maneuver is introduced for waking up relays when necessary in order to address the typical non-line-of-sight (NLOS) signal attenuation by taking the power consumption into consideration. To evaluate the system performance, we conduct Matlab and network simulator (NS)-3 simualtions to justify the algorithms, and adopt Veins-based simulations to show the data packets loss gain over non-relaying scenarios of realistic V2V scenario with NLOS signal dissemination.

Urgency of the research. In the context of design of new, improved devices or technical systems containing electronic elements, we are increasingly encountering the concepts like mechatronics, mechatronic systems, mechatronics system solving approach or just simply mechatronics. The impact of mechatronics is most noticeable in mobile mechatronic products, especially in the automotive industry, where mechatronic systems are increasingly being used. Target setting. The design a wheeled chassis with improved ability to cross rugged terrain. Its indivitual parts are subject of simualtions and stress ananlysis, which confirmed the advantage of the chosen design and mobility of the chassis. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. Designing a robot for a specific purpose always involves several steps. Before considering the design of a robot, it is necessary to determine the environment in which it should operate. The problem of four or more wheeled chassis arises when the wheels are unsprung and the unevenness of the terrain surface causes loss of wheel contact with the terrain surface and thus loss of traction. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. The question of the physical design of a mobile robot is uninvestigated, because it will be solved in future. The research objective. The main aim was design and stress analysis of individual parts of the mobile wheeled robot with improved ability to pass through rugged terrain. The statement of basic materials. The chassis is based on five modules which are connected between each other. Its steering ability against each other is determined by the upper connection cover. Two modules integrated between wheels are for storage, which can be used for battery sources or auxiliary control. Conclusions. All construction parts of this mobile robot were designed in Solidworks software, taking into account the simplicity of the structure and its ease of manufacture. The mobile chassis was tested in various terains simulations, where all his movements and terrain adaptation were monitored. The mobile chassis structure was recalculated from the point of view of the mechanics theory.

<p>Keberhasilan Ujian Nasional salah satunya ditentukan oleh kondisi psikis<br />para siswa. Perasaan takut gagal dapat menjadi beban yang menyebabkan para<br />siswa memiliki kecemasan dalam menghadapi ujian nasional. Kecemasan ini<br />dapat mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis mereka yang akan mengganggu aktivitas<br />mereka sebagai reaksi terhadap adanya sesuatu yang bersifat mengancam.<br />Ketenangan dalam menghadapi ujian nasional mutlak diperlukan bagi peserta<br />ujian nasional. Diharapkan dalam menghadapi ujian nasional siswa dalam kondisi<br />tenang<br />Berdasar observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, dari Jumlah total Kelas IX<br />SMP Negeri 1 Dagangan ada 245 siswa dan hanya 25% yang tidak mengalami<br />kecemasan menghadapi UN. Sesuai dengan permasalahan yang diteliti dan<br />prosedur yang ditempuh, penelitian ini menggunakan desain True-Experimental.<br />Sampel penelitian ditetapkan secara acak yang keseluruhannya berjumlah 40<br />siswa SMP Negeri I Dagangan Madiun dengan perincian 20 siswa untuk<br />kelompok yang diberi perlakuan game simulation untuk mereduksi kecemasan<br />dalam mengahadapi UN dan 20 siswa untuk kelompok yang tidak diberi<br />perlakuan game simulation untuk mereduksi kecemasan dalam mengahadapi UN.<br />Pelaksanaan eksperimental berlangsung selama 10 kali 45 menit di lapangan.<br />Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan melalui test, dianalisis dengan t-test. Hasil<br />analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penelitian mengenai perbedaan kecemasan<br />siswa dalam menghadapi UN antara yang diberi perlakuan dengan game<br />simulation dan yang tidak diberi perlakuan game simualtion dalam taraf<br />kepercayaan 95 % terbukti secara signifikan. Begitu pula pada taraf kepercayaan<br />99 % terbukti ada perbedaan yang signifikan.<br />Berdasar perhitungan t-score diketahui ada perbedaan sebesar rata-rata 6,44<br />antara kedua kelompok tersebut. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa game simulation<br />berpengaruh positif dalam mereduksi kecemasan siswa dalam menghadapi UN,<br />baik dalam taraf 95% maupun 99%.<br /><br /></p>

AbstractHigh resolution transmission electron microscopy during in‐situ quenching of YBa2Cu3Oz is used to study the kinetics of microdomain formation during oxygen loss in this system. Image simulations based on atomic models of oxygen‐vacancy order in the basal plane of this material generated by Monte Carlo calculations are used to interpret high resolution micrographs of the structures obtained by quenching. The observed domain structures agree well with those obtained from the simualtions.
