Abstract:

Seit einiger Zeit haben die Prosaromane der Gräfin Elisabeth von Nassau-Saarbrücken steigendes Interesse erfahren, was schließlich auch dazu geführt hat, dass sich Bernd Bastert (Bochum) und Ute von Bloh (Potsdam) jeweils mit einem Forschungsteam von Studenten darum bemüht haben, alle ihre vier Werke in kritisch bearbeiteten Ausgaben neu herauszugeben. Nun liegt der letzte Band vor, der Huge Scheppel und die Königin Sibille enthält. Wie in ihren bisherigen Editionen haben sie ganz bewusst den Namen der Autorin weggelassen, weil sie ernsthaft bezweifeln, dass Elisabeth entscheidend, wenn überhaupt, an der Schaffung dieser Romane beteiligt gewesen war. Dies wird freilich hier noch nicht einmal diskutiert, und der Leser sieht sich schlicht anonymen Texten gegenüber, was an und für sich genommen schlicht nicht stimmt. Diese Anonymität bleibt nach meiner Meinung sehr zweifelhaft, denn die Beweislast, ihr die Autorschaft abzusprechen, liegt bei Bastert und von Bloh, die aber bisher nicht genügend Evidenz für ihre negative These produzieren konnten, und was auch im vorliegenden Band nicht belegt wird.

OBJETIVO: Analisar a prevalência e os sintomas relacionados à asma em escolares e adolescentes residentes em Alta Floresta, Mato Grosso. MÉTODO: Estudo transversal de base populacional da prevalência de asma em escolares de 6 e 7 anos de idade e adolescentes de 13 e 14 anos do município de Alta Floresta, MT, no ano de 2007. Foi utilizado o método padronizado do Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood - ISAAC, fase I, considerando como asmáticos aqueles estudantes que responderam afirmativamente à questão 2 - "presença de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses". RESULTADOS: Participaram da pesquisa 2.071 estudantes, dos quais 1.072 eram escolares (51,7%) e 999 adolescentes (48,3%). A prevalência de asma entre os escolares foi de 21,4%, enquanto entre os adolescentes foi 12,4% (χ2 = 29,29; ρ = 0,00). Os escolares apresentaram maior prevalência dos seguintes sintomas: sibilos alguma vez na vida (49,9%), sibilos nos últimos 12 meses (21,4%), de 1 a 3 crises de sibilos (16,4%) e tosse seca noturna (38,2%). Para diagnóstico médico de asma não houve diferença entre os dois grupos, situando-se em torno de 6,0%. Os escolares do gênero masculino apresentaram maior prevalência de asma, asma diagnosticada por médico e freqüência de sibilos maior ou igual a 4 vezes nos últimos 12 meses (ρ < 0,05). Os adolescentes do gênero masculino apresentaram maior prevalência de sibilo forte dificultando a fala (ρ < 0,05). CONCLUSÃO: Alta Floresta está entre os municípios brasileiros com uma das maiores prevalências de asma da América Latina entre escolares na faixa etária de 6 e 7 anos de idade.

Nello scambio epistolare tra Sibilla Aleramo e Dino Campana realmente avvenuto tra il 1916-1918 e edito nella raccolta Un viaggio chiamato amore dalla studiosa Bruna Conti, si riscontrano ricercate pose da innamorati che danno origine ad una storia d'amore al confine tra realtà e creazione letteraria, di cui Sibilla si rivela essere abile artefice e regista. L'intento dell'Aleramo di fare della propria esistenza un'opera d'arte unito alla colta e raffinata complicità intellettuale di Dino Campana, rendono la lettera un luogo in cui proiettare non solo il sentimento di due amanti lontani, ma anche lo spazio in cui Sibilla plasma la sua identità di amante-attrice di un dramma amoroso. La corrispondenza, quindi, come unica testimone del loro idillio realizza la fusione tra vita e arte, trasformando il carteggio Aleramo-Campana nel romanzo del loro amore.

MÉTODOS: Estudo transversal utilizando o questionário do International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood e envolvendo 3.015 adolescentes de escolas públicas e privadas entre 2006 e 2007. RESULTADOS: As prevalências de "sibilos alguma vez na vida", "sibilos nos últimos doze meses" (asma ativa) e "asma alguma vez na vida" (asma diagnosticada) foram, respectivamente, 44,1%, 22,6% e 11,6%. As prevalências de "sibilos alguma vez na vida" (p = 0,001), "1-3 crises de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses" (p = 0,001); asma ativa (p = 0,002); "sono interrompido por sibilos menos que uma vez por semana" (p < 0,001) e "tosse seca noturna" (p < 0,001) foram maiores nas adolescentes. Alunos de escolas privadas apresentaram maior prevalência de "sibilos alguma vez na vida", asma ativa, "1-3 crises de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses", "4-12 crises de sibilos nos últimos 12 meses" e asma diagnosticada (p < 0,001 para todos), além de "sibilos após exercícios" (p = 0,032). CONCLUSÕES: A prevalência de asma e de sintomas associados em escolares de 13-14 anos na cidade de Fortaleza mostrou-se elevada, predominando no sexo feminino e no grupo das escolas privadas. A diferença entre as prevalências de asma diagnosticada e a de asma ativa sugere que a asma foi subdiagnosticada na população estudada.

Abstract:

O objetivo deste estudo foi estimar a prevalência de asma e fatores associados em estudantes de 13 e 14 anos do Município de São Luís, Maranhão, Brasil. Realizou-se estudo transversal utilizando o questionário do ISAAC (International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood) e questionário complementar, entre julho de 2008 e maio de 2009 com 3.069 adolescentes. A prevalência de asma (sibilos nos últimos 12 meses) foi de 12,7%, sendo que 32,4% apresentaram sibilos alguma vez na vida, 3,9% tinham dificuldade de fala por causa de sibilos e 9,8% relataram sibilos após exercícios físicos. Na análise multivariada, os fatores associados à maior prevalência de asma foram história familiar de asma, infecção respiratória e sibilos no início da vida, eczema, tabagismo passivo e rinite alérgica. A prevalência de asma encontrada foi inferior à brasileira. Os fatores mais associados com a prevalência de asma foram história familiar de asma (RP = 3,86), sibilos no início da vida (RP = 4,58) e rinite alérgica (RP = 3,21).

Abstract:

Avaliou-se, em estudo transversal, a influência do padrão alimentar sobre a ocorrência de sibilo e asma atópica e não atópica em 1.168 crianças e adolescentes em Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. Sibilo e sintomas de asma nos últimos 12 meses foram obtidos por meio do questionário ISAAC. Atopia foi definida pela presença de IgE específica a aerolérgenos. Questionário de frequência alimentar foi usado para definir padrões alimentares. Empregou-se regressões logística e logística politômica multivariadas. O consumo de pescados reduziu a ocorrência de sibilo em 27% (IC95%: 0,56-0,94) e asma em 37% (IC95%: 0,47-0,83); asma não atópica em 51% (IC95%: 0,31-0,79) e sibilo não atópico em 38% (IC95%: 0,46-0,83). O maior tercil do padrão alimentar reduziu o sibilo em 27% (IC95%: 0,57-0,95), sibilo atópico em 46% (IC95%: 0,30-0,98), asma em 36% (IC95%: 0,49-0,83) e asma atópica em 50% (IC95%: 0,28-0,89). O consumo de pescados pode conferir efeito protetor para sibilo e asma não atópica e o padrão alimentar para sibilo e asma atópica.

OBJETIVO: Antes do uso do questionário padronizado ISAAC (International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood) em inquéritos epidemiológicos, pouco se conhecia sobre a ocorrência comparativa de asma no mundo, dados os diferentes métodos empregados. No Brasil, outros estudos utilizaram o questionário ISAAC em regiões urbanas. Realizou-se estudo utilizando esse questionário nas zonas urbana e rural com o objetivo de estimar a prevalência de asma em escolares. MÉTODOS: Estudo transversal com o questionário escrito ISAAC, acrescido de perguntas sobre exposições de interesse, auto-aplicado em 3.770 escolares de 13 e 14 anos de idade do município de Montes Claros (MG) selecionados por sorteio. RESULTADOS: A prevalência de "sibilos no último ano" foi 15,8%, e de "asma ou bronquite alguma vez na vida" 23,8%, sem diferença significativa entre sexos. Houve diferença estatística (p<0,05) entre sexos (feminino e masculino, respectivamente) em "sibilos alguma vez na vida" (37,8% e 33,6%), "sono alterado devido à crise de sibilos" (13,7% e 9,5%) e "tosse seca noturna sem infecção respiratória" (36,6% e 28,7%). Houve associação nociva entre "sibilos no último ano", "contato com animais domésticos" (OR=1,27; IC 95%: 1,03-1,56) e "história familiar de asma" (OR=1,79; IC 95%: 1,50-2,14), e associação protetora entre "sibilos no último ano" e "localização rural da escola" (OR=0,63; IC 95%: 0,44-0,91), mas não houve associação com sexo, idade, domínio escolar e tabagismo passivo. CONCLUSÕES: A prevalência de asma na amostra estudada foi elevada, com alguns sintomas predominantes no sexo feminino. A ocorrência de "sibilos no último ano" mostrou-se associada à história familiar, contato com animais domésticos e localização urbana das escolas.

Abstract:

Os mitos antigos não estão mortos. A partir desta afirmação este trabalho pretende apontar os caminhos históricos que legitimaram a sobrevivência do mito das sibilas no mundo cristão, em sua estreita relação com a astrologia, como forma de poder persuasivo da arte. O paganismo esteve sempre presente no cristianismo, não só como símbolos, mas como efetiva influência essencial sobre os homens e as suas vidas. Alguns momentos históricos em particular são privilegiados neste caminho, desde os padres apologistas do cristianismo primitivo até o nascimento da ciência moderna. Sibilas e astrologia, como testemunhos “de fora” são presença constante nas representações plásticas do mundo cristão, que aqui privilegiamos. A sua sobrevivência ou pós-vida (Naschleben) é ora afirmada também pela legitimação de grandes nomes da patrística e da escolástica, e por meio da influência de Albumasar, teólogo muçulmano que faz o elo entre as sibilas e sua representação como poder.

INTRODUÇÃO: A asma é a doença crônica mais comum entre adolescentes. OBJETIVO: Determinar a prevalência de asma e sintomas relacionados utilizando o protocolo do International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC) em adolescentes de Santa Maria (RS). MÉTODO: Estudo transversal, em que foram avaliados 3.066 escolares urbanos (13-14 anos) de Santa Maria (RS), selecionados por amostragem aleatória, conforme protocolo do ISAAC. Os dados foram coletados de março a junho de 2003 utilizando-se questionário padronizado do ISAAC. O questionário foi respondido pelos adolescentes em sala de aula, na presença dos pesquisadores. RESULTADOS: O número de questionários válidos devolvidos foi de 3.066 (95,5%). A prevalência dos sintomas de asma nos adolescentes foi: sibilos alguma vez na vida em 42,1% dos adolescentes; sibilos nos últimos doze meses em 16,7%; quatro crises ou mais de sibilos nos últimos doze meses em 1,9%; sono perturbado em uma ou mais noites por semana nos últimos doze meses em 3,8%; prejuízo na fala nos últimos doze meses em 3,8%; asma alguma vez na vida em 14,9%; sibilos após exercícios nos últimos doze meses em 19%; tosse seca à noite nos últimos doze meses em 32,4% deles. Houve valores significativamente superiores no sexo feminino. CONCLUSÃO: A prevalência dos sintomas relacionados à asma em adolescentes urbanos de Santa Maria mostrou-se elevada, predominando entre as meninas. Ficou entre a média internacional e foi inferior aos dados observados nas capitais brasileiras. Estes dados reforçam a necessidade de estudos regionais para o melhor entendimento da prevalência da asma no Brasil.

Delo je nastalo na osnovi njegove (kot sam pravi) »Že davno napisane in neobjavljene« doktorske disertacije, ki jo je za izdajo v knjižni obliki dopolnil in obogatil ne le vsebinsko, ampak tudi oblikovno. Naslov sam skriva v sebi globoko simboliko; na eni strani kaže na simbolično povezavo med Sibilo, ki ni mogla umreti prej, dokler se ni dotaknila prsti iz svoje domovine (zgodba je povzeta po Serviju) in Prešernom kot prvim imenom slovenskega parnasa ter aludira na njuno nesmrtnost, po drugi pa že sam po sebi kaže na Prešernovo izjemno poznavanje antike.

Abstract:

The research "Primary Productivity of Lake Sibili of Tawaeli District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi" was carried out from January to February 2019. This study aims to determine the primary productivity of waters and the physical and chemical parameters of Lake Sibili and as a first step in the use of Lake Sibili sustainable. This study was carried out using the method of oxygen light bottles and dark bottles. The results of the research have shown that station III has the highest net photosynthesis with a value of 1.875.0 mgC/m3/day (Table 2) this is caused by the temperature and pH of the station is relatively high which has an average temperature of 30.3 oC and average pH - 7.6 so that this can increase the rate of photosynthetic activity by phytoplankton while the lowest net photosynthetic value is at station I with a value of 812.4 mgC/m3/day which has a relatively lower temperature and pH compared to other stations which have an average temperature average of 28.9 oC and average pH 7. so that based on primary productivity values obtained during the study, the waters of the lake Sibili can be categorized as Eutrophic waters.

Abstract Thanks to recent efforts by the text mining community, biocurators have now access to plenty of good tools and Web interfaces for identifying and visualizing biomedical entities in literature. Yet, many of these systems start with a PubMed query, which is limited by strong Boolean constraints. Some semantic search engines exploit entities for Information Retrieval, and/or deliver relevance-based ranked results. Yet, they are not designed for supporting a specific curation workflow, and allow very limited control on the search process. The Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics Literature Services (SIBiLS) provide personalized Information Retrieval in the biological literature. Indeed, SIBiLS allow fully customizable search in semantically enriched contents, based on keywords and/or mapped biomedical entities from a growing set of standardized and legacy vocabularies. The services have been used and favourably evaluated to assist the curation of genes and gene products, by delivering customized literature triage engines to different curation teams. SIBiLS (https://candy.hesge.ch/SIBiLS) are freely accessible via REST APIs and are ready to empower any curation workflow, built on modern technologies scalable with big data: MongoDB and Elasticsearch. They cover MEDLINE and PubMed Central Open Access enriched by nearly 2 billion of mapped biomedical entities, and are daily updated.
