Abstract:
The Shufʻa (preemption) or 'Side-Land Pre-Purchase Right Law' is a land by-law of Islamic Shari'ah law. The role of Shuf’a Law in land management is immense. Because Shufʻa law preserves the rights of all classes of partners and neighbors of the respective land. In the year 622 AD, the first practical application of this law took place in the state of Madinah Munawarah established by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). For around 1400 years, this law played an incredibly important role as an acclaimed land law of Muslim empires. Note that the amount of per capita land is gradually decreasing as the current global population increases. In such a situation, the land department along with the land owners are going through a transitional period in the purchase and sale of these poorly fragmented lands. In this situation, the land management law including the land pre-purchase right law need to be made more rich, practical and up-to-date. This article presents an authentic and evidence-based discussion of various aspects of Shufʻa Law. In addition, an attempt has been made to make a comparative analysis between the Shufʻa Law and the existing law of the country. The article has been prepared in a descriptive, analytical and comparative manner. Analyzing the results of Shuf'a law and relevant issues, presented in this article, it can be seen that the elements of this law can play an important role in the land management including the upgradation of Shufʻa Law.

Abstract:
Ayurveda the science of health always aimed to maintain health status of society. The good conduction of daily regimen not only maintains healthy lifestyle but also help to avoid medication for the treatment of diseases. To make the body healthy and strong, there are three sub pillars mentioned in Ayurveda. Ahara (food) is the basic need for an individual and an important tool in Ayurveda. Ahara acts as Aushadha (medicine). Shimbhi Dhanya Varga (Pulses) in daily diet plays an important role in maintaining muscle and bone strength. Health promotion can be done by pearl knowledge of Ayurveda, the science for the achievement of long, happy and healthy life. One among them is the varieties of pulses such as Mudga (green gram), Masha (Black gram), Adhaki (Red gram) and Makushtha (lentil), Rajashimbi (Soyabean), Satina (peas), etc. These three things help in balancing your Dosha. Diet means your food, and it is one of the most important things for our survival. The 12 groups men- tioned by Charaka Samhita. Shimbhi Varga (pulses) is one of them. They are also called Vaidala (dicotyledons). Bhavamishra has also explained 23 vargas one of which is Dhanya varga. Dhanya varga is divided into five sub types which are as follows: 1. Shali Dhanya, 2. Vrihi Dhanya, 3. Shuka Dhanya, 4. Shimbi Dhanya, 5. Shudra Dhanya. Shimbhidhanya Varga (pulses) is rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. The pulses are main source of protein except non vegetarians. Also, for the promotion of health seasonal regimen is given prime importance in our Ayurvedic texts. Ahara when used in an appropriate way can be used as a medicine in various diseases. The main objective of this article is to understand the use of Shimbhidhanya Varga in different Ritus andvarious diseases. An attempt has been made to explain eases based on Ayurvedic and modern pharmacology. Keywords: Shimbhidhanya, Ritus, Diseases

Literary work is a life guide of the Balinese Hindu community that still exists until today. One type of traditional Balinese literary work that is rich in moral teachings, especially related to Tri Parartha is kakawin Aji Palayon. This paper seeks to uncover the teachings of Tri Parartha contained in Aji Palayon's kakawin literary work with a set of semiotic and religious theories supported by content analysis and descriptive analysis methods. The results of the analysis show that Kakawin Aji Palayon is a traditional Balinese literary work in the form of a song that tells about the journey of the atman since leaving the rough body until it reaches shunya laya (a place of eternal peace). On the journey the atman is also filled with the teachings of Tri Parartha, namely asih (compassion), punia (sacrifice / sincere gift), and bhakti (truth devotion) which is dominantly found in chapter 1, 3, and 6. With high wisdom and understand the teachings of Tri Parartha well, then the atman can pass through various kinds of obstacles and temptations, so that finally he reaches shunya laya (place of eternal peace).

Full text
Abstract:
Pecan [Carya illinoinensis (Wangenh.) K. Koch] fruit presents a considerable weight for the tree to support during the growing season. A major part of this weight is due to the pecan shuck that surrounds the developing nut and kernel. Pecan clones vary considerably for the amount of shuck per nut, and little is known as to the value of this weight in determining final nut quality. Six cultivars differing in basic nut shapes and sizes were studied and found to vary greatly for shuck thickness, and weight of shuck per unit final nut weight and volume. Shuck thickness was shown to be a favorable genetic characteristic since fruit with thicker shucks had slightly greater nut fresh and dry weight, nut volume, nut density, kernel weight and content, and shuck weight per nut volume. `Sioux' had the thickest shucks (4.70 mm), while `Pawnee' had the thinnest shucks (3.72 mm). Fresh weight per fruit varied from 21.25 g for `Podsednik' to 10.18 g for Osage. Weight of fruit per tree was extrapolated using average shuck and nut weights, and it was determined that the fruit on each tree would weigh about 104 kg. This is a considerable weight, and adds substantially to limb breakage. However, thicker shucks contribute to final nut quality.

Abstract:
This study discusses the formation of the structure of the modus tokoro da based on Kato's (1989) theory. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of the modus tokoro da. In the process of collecting data, the author uses the listening method with a note-taking technique based on Mahsun's (2013) theory. In analyzing the structure of the modus tokoro da, the author uses the agih method with the direct element division (BUL) technique based on Sudaryanto's theory (2015). In writing this research, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method based on the theory of Sugiyono (2019). The data used is sourced from the fermi lab (ferumi kenkyuujo) youtube channel and supernatural genre anime. In this study, the data containing the tokoro da mode amounted to 45 data, but the data displayed in this study amounted to 15 data. The result of this research is that the modus structure of tokoro da is formed from the verb ~ru+tokoro da, the verb ~teiru+tokoro da, the verb ~ta+tokoro da, and the verb ~teita+tokoro da. Each verb attached to the modus tokoro da has a different type of verb, namely the modus tokoro da attached to the type of verb keizoku doushi totaling 7 data, the modus tokoro da attached to the type of verb shunkan doushi totaling 6 data, and the modus tokoro da being attached to the type the joutai doushi verb has 2 data. From this research, it can be concluded that the modus tokoro da is more dominantly attached to the type of verb keizoku doushi than the type of verb shunkan doushi and joutai doushi. Compared to previous studies which only stated that the structure of tokoro da was formed from tokoro da which was attached by verb ~ru, verb ~te iru, and verb ~ta. In this study, there is novelty where the verbs attached to the modus tokoro da have different types, namely joutai doushi, keizoku doushi, shunkan doushi, and daiyonshu no doushi (Kindaichi, 1989, pp. 9–11). The discussion in this study is useful for readers to understand the structure formed from the modus tokoro da by adding an explanation of the types of verbs attached to the modus tokoro da.

Abstract:
Shukra is studied in Ayurveda both as a dhatu and beeja. As a mammalian human body comprises both somatic and gonadal cells. Somatic cells help for growth and regeneration through mitosis. Meiotic cell division causes equal contribution for the inheritance from maternal and paternal sides. Beejartham (reproduction) is the supreme function attributed to Shukra. Reproduction refers to the formation of new cells for tissue growth, repair/replacement (sukshmavayavantarotpatti), or the production of a new individual (shareerantarotpatti). Regenerative capacity is distributed unequally among species, individuals, and tissues. The affliction of shukrastana by kusthadosha (skin disease) causes a failure in regeneration. The affliction of parents' shukra and artava (gametes) by kusthadosha (skin disease) inherits to the next generation. Vrushan (testis) and medru (penis) are the moola of the shukravahavaha srotus, which is meant to fertilise the ovum (beejarupishukra). Majja (bone marrow) and stana (breasts) are the moola of the shukravaha srotus of the one pervading the entire body (dhaturupishukra).

Full text
Abstract:
It has been proposed that an “oxygen overshoot” occurred during the early Paleoproterozoic Great Oxidation Event (GOE) in association with the extreme positive carbon isotopic excursion known as the Lomagundi Event. Moreover, it has also been suggested that environmental oxygen levels then crashed to very low levels during the subsequent extremely negative Shunga–Francevillian carbon isotopic anomaly. These redox fluctuations could have profoundly influenced the course of eukaryotic evolution, as eukaryotes have several metabolic processes that are obligately aerobic. Here we investigate the magnitude of these proposed oxygen perturbations using selenium (Se) geochemistry, which is sensitive to redox transitions across suboxic conditions. We find that δ82/78Se values in offshore shales show a positive excursion from 2.32 Ga until 2.1 Ga (mean +1.03 ± 0.67‰). Selenium abundances and Se/TOC (total organic carbon) ratios similarly show a peak during this interval. Together these data suggest that during the GOE there was pervasive suboxia in near-shore environments, allowing nonquantitative Se reduction to drive the residual Se oxyanions isotopically heavy. This implies O2levels of >0.4 μM in these settings. Unlike in the late Neoproterozoic and Phanerozoic, when negative δ82/78Se values are observed in offshore environments, only a single formation, evidently the shallowest, shows evidence of negative δ82/78Se. This suggests that there was no upwelling of Se oxyanions from an oxic deep-ocean reservoir, which is consistent with previous estimates that the deep ocean remained anoxic throughout the GOE. The abrupt decline in δ82/78Se and Se/TOC values during the subsequent Shunga–Francevillian anomaly indicates a widespread decrease in surface oxygenation.

Abstract:
In this study a ‘wonder plant’ Mucuna pruriens (L.) DC., which is commercially important medicinal plant of the Fabaceae family known for its treatment in Central Nervous System disorders like Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, etc. have been selected. Different germplasms have been collected to analyze the phytochemical variations between them and quantify the L-DOPA in root, stem, leaves and seeds of all the five germlines using HPLC. Along with the biochemical assays, antioxidant activity by DPPH, phosphomolybdneum method, the metal chelating and reductive potential activity of all the germplasms were studied. All parts of the plant have shown the presence of L-DOPA but, seeds have the highest quantity followed by the roots, stem and leaves. Arka Shubra seeds showed high L-DOPA content (51.9 mg/g) while the other germplasms showed L-DOPA ranging from 43-45 mg/g. Highest content of carbohydrates (258.8 mg/g) and phenolics (157.0 mg/g) was seen in the seeds of Arka Aswini. While the seeds and leaves of Arka Charaka showed high protein (332.2 mg/g) and flavonoid (10.2 mg/g) content, respectively. High proline (1.74 mg/g) was observed in the seeds of Arka Shubra. Antioxidant studies revealed that Arka Charaka and Arka Daksha to be having high reductive power and free radical scavenging activity by phosphomolybdate method while high metal chelating activity was observed in Arka Aswini (88.7%) and high antioxidant activity by DPPH method was seen in Arka Shubra (86.5%).

Abstract:
In Arabic literature, Bakseer’s figure is quite unique and well known.Particularly when we talk about historical novel,Bakseer is regarded as the pioneer of this genre. “Seeratush-Shujaa” is his typical historical novel which gives a graphic picture of the period of Al Aazid Billah the last ruler of Fatmic dynasty. The conspiracies of the royal court, along with the allied acts of treachery have been depicted in detail. This novl especially focuses on the differences and clashes between the two prominent ministers Shawer and Zargham. Both of them were real persons. Zargham killed Shawer’s two sons, but speared his third son Shujaa mainly for his bravery and honesty.Later on, Shujaa also started loving Zargham with the passage of time.Shawer fled to Noor-ud-Din Zangi and convinced him to help him. Zangi sent Asad-ud-Din Shairkooh and Slahudddin Ayobi to Egypt to help Shawer who ultimately succeeded in killing Zargham.Subsequently, Shawer regained ministry and Aazid became a puppet in his hands. All the affairs of the caliphate were supervised by Shawer.Taking advantage of his position,he developed friendly relation with the English-back King Maree, and hence became a traitor to his own country. He handed over Fustat and some other cities to Maree. As a result, his son Shuja started hating him and decided to support Asad-ud-Din and Slahuddin. The hero of the novel is Shjaa, who opposes his father and supports the truth. One day Shawer invited Asad-ud-Din and his army to a party and asked his new slave Yaqoot to poison the food to be served to Asad-ud-Din and Slahuddin.Shujaa’s wife Sumaiya overheard this conversation and informed Shujaa of the plot who consequently got annoyed. He exchanged hot words with his father and revealed that he knew all his evil [1]designs.this irritated Shawer and he ordered his slave Yaqoot to murder Shujaa. Before his death,Shuja expressed two wishes:one that Asad-ud-Din should forgive his father Shawer so that the latter might repent of his sins; the second that his son who has not yet born should be given the name “Zargham” and title “Asad-ud-Din”. The beauty of the novel lies in the writer’s skill of blending the romantic and the real. The diction is quite impressive and fully charged.Metaphors,Similes and references have been used dexterously.Dialogues are charged with sublime emotions and, as such, touch the chords of the heart.

Full text
Abstract:
The influence of fruiting stress on shuck decline, nut quality, and premature germinaiton was evaluated on trees of pecan [Carya illinoensis (Wangenh.) C. Koch]. Fruit at the liquid endosperm state were removed from trees with a mechanical shaker to reduce crop load by 0%, 25%, 41%, 56%, or 77%. Shuck decline and premature germination decreased and kernel quality increased with a reduction in crop load. An excessive fruit load or fruit stress elevated the incidence of shuck decline, previously referred to as shuck disease, tulip disease, shuck die-back, or late season shuck disorder; decreased kernel development; and increased premature germinaiton. Shucks were dissected from fruit ranging from healthy to those with premature shuck opening and examined by scanning electron, transmission electron, and light microscopy. Fungal growth was detectable, but only after tissue degeneration had occurred. Thus, results indicate the onset of shuck decline is caused by stress associated with an excessive crop load and not a pathological disorder. Fungal growth is a secondary, not a primary, factor in deterioration of shucks with decline.

Abstract:
Hickory shuckworm larvae, Cydia caryana (Fitch), in pecan shucks, were killed by extended periods of freezing temperature. While storage at −7°C killed 88% of larvae after 32 days of exposure, −18°C killed 85% after only 1 day and 100% by 8 to 16 days of exposure. Larvae exposed to cold temperatures prior to −18°C exposure appeared to possess enhanced cold resistance but were still killed after 32 days of exposure. Survival of the ichneumonid parasite, Calliephialtes grapholithae (Cresson), which comprised 92% of the total of all parasites emerging from pecan shucks, was not detectably affected by exposure to cooling (3–5°C) for up to 5 wks. Thereafter, when emergence began to decrease, about half of the parasites in the extended cooling treatment were viable for at least 10 wks. Conversely, 3 other parasites Phanerotoma fasciata Provancher (Braconidae), Macrocentrus instabilis Muesebeck (Braconidae), and Lixophaga mediocris Aldrich (Tachinidae), comprised the remaining 8% of total parasite emergence and survival was severely affected by extended cooling (3–5°C).

Abstract:
AbstractBy investigating the dielectric response of the Fermi–Dirac plasma in the linear limit and evaluating the electrostatic potential around the positive stationary test charge, we find that the Shukla–Eliasson attractive force is present for the plasma density range expected in the interiors of large planets for a wide range of plasma atomic number. This research, which is based on the generalized electron Fermi-momentum, further confirms the existence of the newly discovered Lennard-Jones-like attractive potential and its inevitable role in plasma crystallization in the cores of planets. Moreover, it is observed that the characteristics of the attractive potential are strongly sensitive to the variation of plasma density and composition. Current research can also have applications in the study of strong laser-matter interactions and inertially confined plasmas.
