Este trabajo busca aclarar los motivos filosóficos por los cuales Martin Heidegger empleó, a lo largo de toda su obra, tres maneras de escribir la palabra ser: Sein, Seyn y Seyn (tachado). Se busca comprender cuál es el sentido de cada una de estas escrituras y su relación mutua, si existe entre ellas superación, negación o complementariedad. La tesis propuesta es que cada una de ellas nombra un aspecto distinto de la donación del ser, cada una se aproxima más que la anterior al fondo de la experiencia del ser, pero esto no significa que haya una superación, sino que los tres ámbitos designados están en una íntima relación de copertenencia. Se mostrará que Sein designa el proyecto filosófico que busca al ser como sentido, es decir, en la comprensión preontológica del hombre; Seyn se refiere a que el hombre no está inmediatamente vinculado con la esencia más auténtica de la verdad del ser, sino que ha de ser apropiado para ella, de modo que se apunta a la idea de Ereignis; finalmente, como es sabido, Seyn alude a la idea de la cuaternidad (das Geviert), pero además de ello, los últimos Cuadernos negros publicados permiten ver que el surgimiento de esta tercera escritura del ser está directamente vinculado con dos ideas prácticamente desconocidas en la obra publicada en vida del autor: la escatología del ser y un acontecimiento de expropiación, Enteignis.

Abstract Tracing the history of ‘natural’ style from late 17th century letter writing manuals to Gellert’s reform, this article shows how the ideal of ‘naturalness’ is being derived from the topos of letters as conversations among absentees (sermo absentis ad absentem). The article argues that semantic shifts within the concept of ‘naturalness’ go along with changes in the relationship between letters and publicity. Unlike gallant letters, Gellert’s letters generate their quality of ‘naturalness’ by emphasizing that they were allegedly not intended for an outside audience.

Die handschriftlich vervielfältigten Zeitungen informierten schon im 16. Jahrhundert einen kleinen Kreis von Beziehern über die wichtigsten politischen Entwicklungen. Sie können als das erste Medium in der Geschichte des Nachrichtenwesens gelten, das regelmäßig im Wochenabstand über das Weltgeschehen unterrichtete. Für die erste Zeitung der Welt in Straßburg wie für eine Reihe von weiteren Zeitungsgründungen ist nachweisbar, dass aus den geschriebenen Wochenzeitungen gedruckte entstanden. Somit ging von diesem Medium die Initialzündung für die Entstehung der gedruckten Zeitung aus. Gleichzeitig begannen fast zwei Jahrhunderte der Koexistenz von altem und neuem Medium, ein Verhältnis, das zugleich ebenso von Konkurrenz geprägt war. Der Beitrag befasst sich mit den Wirkungen, die von der gedruckten Zeitung auf die handgeschriebene ausgehen, bestimmt die wesentlichen Charakeristika der geschriebenen Zeitung, fragt nach ihren Verfassern und Lesern sowie nach ihrer Rolle im Gesamtsystem des frühneuzeitlichen Nachrichtenwesens.

Is Heidegger’s philosophy of Being (Seyn) a mystique? In this article I examine whether late Heidegger’s philosophy (Gesamtausgabe volumes 65–74) can be called a mysticism. For serious reasons the answer should be negative. Heidegger’s early statements relating to the mystique are very unflattering. I try to grasp what the Heidegger’s exact attitude to the mystique is. Reflections on the mystique do not appear in late Heidegger’s philosophy (with one exception). Heidegger treats the term “mysticism” as an objection to thinking, which consists in masking a lack of understanding of thinking. According to the immanent criteria, the philosophy of Being cannot be called the mystique. But it is possible to transpose the concept of the mystique, which means to carry the word from the first in another beginning. The second part of my work is an attempt at such a transposition. As a result I obtain the word “mysticism” conceived from the side of Being, that is as a source for mysticism conceived in the traditional way. So I can say that the philosophy of Being is a mystique in this particular sense of this word.

O intuito deste texto é fazer uma abordagem fenomenológica a respeito da terceira juntura (Fügung) das Contribuições à filosofia (Do acontecimento apropriador). Buscamos discutir de que modo o salto (der Sprung) é uma forma de passagem do primeiro princípio do pensamento (filosofia como metafísica) ao outro princípio do pensamento (meditação filosófica acolhedora do ser (Seyn) em seu profundo velamento). O salto é irrepresentável, não é passível de ser modulado por nenhum cálculo ou representação do ente, uma vez que saltar, segundo as meditações de Heidegger, indica lançar-se em uma via totalmente outra do percurso ôntico seguido pela metafísica em toda a história ocidental. O salto é o deslocamento do ser-aí (Da-sein) da zona da entidade rumo ao acolhimento da recusa do ser. Nesse sentido, o ser-aí recepciona o fundamento na sua mais singela e profunda vigência, isto é, como o Nada do ente e como fosso abissal (Ab-grund).

This article re-examines the system of discourses in traditional Chinese poetics from the German hermeneutical perspective extending from Chladenius to Heidegger. The author also conducts a comparative research on the Vietnamese counterpart with a view to illuminating several hidden assumptions that shaped the way scholars in China and Vietnam made a critical reading of literary works. If the objective of most modern poetics has been found in the attempt to clarify the intrinsic structure of a specific piece of literature, Chinese and, to a lesser extent, Vietnamese traditional poetics tended to underline the constant relationship between a poet, who was called upon to serve Tao and Tao or Seyn, using a Heideggerian term.

Since the publication of Heidegger’s 1936-38 collection of reflections titled Beiträge zur Philosophie (Vom Ereignis) in 1989, there has been a trend in Heidegger studies to overstate the significance of the notion of das Ereignis in his thought. To be sure, Heidegger considered that his arrival at the name Ereignis was an important event in his thinking and that this particular word had a special power and nuance to make manifest die Sache selbst, the fundamental matter for thought. Even so, there is neither sufficient nor convincing textual evidence to maintain that he ever considered Ereignis as a more fundamental matter for thought than das Sein, that is, Being thought in an originary and fundamental way as the finite and negatived unconcealing of beings (das Seiende) in their beingness (die Seiendheit) as made manifest meaningfully by Dasein in language. (Note that I retain the convention of writing Being (with a capital B) for this usage only.) In fact, to the contrary, he was clear and emphatic right to the end of his life that the single, defining concern of his path of thinking was about the originary, fundamental, unifying meaning of Being, named by him over the many years Beyng (das Seyn), Being itself (das Sein selbst), Being as such (das Sein als solches), and Being as Being (das Sein als Sein). Certainly, there is no denying the importance of the notion of Ereignis in his thought, but its significance has been overworked and overstated by several Heidegger scholars in recent years. In other words, I think that if we examine Heidegger’s words carefully, we find that he understood Ereignis to be (only) another name for Being itself.

Heidegger’s Manichaeism: Comments on Peter Trawny’s Heidegger and the myth of a Jewish world conspiracy. In the book Heidegger and the myth of a Jewish world conspiracy, Peter Trawny convincingly shows that anti-Semitism in Heidegger’s thought does not have the shape of the Nazi call for racial discrimination, but rather is a stereotypical and unfortunate element of Heidegger’s call for a transformation of thinking so that philosophy and the human attitude to life would be focused on Being itself (Seyn selbst) instead of beings (Seiendes). Despite the advantages of Trawny’s book, I think that Trawny unlawfully tries to demonstrate that anti-Semitism is the main ethical and political problem of Heideggerian philosophy, while in my opinion the main problem is Heidegger’s “being-historical Manichaeism” — a phenomenon which is only marginally evoked by Trawny. This Manichaeism brings Heidegger to criticize the values of human subjectivity, personality and social and economic self-security as the en-emies of Being. These views not only can have severe political collectivist implications, but — to put it in the terminology of Sein und Zeit — they also make Heidegger speak in the manner of the conservative variant of “idle talk” (Gerede) of “the they” (das Man).

The present paper engages with Heidegger’s attempt to rethink, during the 1930s, the metaphysical history of being from the inside. It treats the movement of the appearance of Being (Seyn) in the concealment of the essence of truth, and moving from such a notion of “essence” (Wesen), it shows that the role of Phantasie falls within the seynsgeschichtliches Denken. The Heideggerian “Phantasie des Wesens” is thus studied through Holderlin’s poetry, which is central to the elaboration of the “thought of the history of being” in the thirties. It seems therefore, following Heidegger’s interpretation, that is from its own language (Sprache) that the metaphysical history of being can be rethought or “reinvented”. The paper rather explores the process of channeling Stimmung into Grund-stimmung, by which the Phantasie may be able to shape the experience of meaning.

A partir da visão prévia (Vorsicht) das Contribuições à filosofia, a proposta do artigo é discutir sobre o acontecimento apropriador (Ereignis) como a essência do pensamento de Heidegger que abre a filosofia do Ocidente ao pensar do outro princípio (acolhedor do ser (Seyn) em seu profundo velamento) distinto do saber do primeiro princípio (o saber metafísico, que durante séculos identificou o ser com o ente em suas representações). Nesse sentido, demonstramos, a partir das considerações de Heidegger, como o pensar do outro princípio se torna uma meditação histórica que permite o advento do questionamento espantoso, mas, ao mesmo tempo, possibilita o perguntar sereno sobre a essência da verdade acerca do acontecimento apropriador. Fica claro que o espanto se dá no ser-aí porque ele compreende que a sua situação finita no mundo acontece pela retração do ser. Contudo, daqui surge a serenidade, porque o ser-aí percebe que o ir embora do fundamento é o que lhe permite existir como possibilidade no mundo.

RESUMO: Esta pesquisa busca esclarecer alguns contornos de um conceito-experiência central à filosofia de Martin Heidegger: a noção de tonalidade afetiva (Stimmung). Esta visa remeter o ser-aí (Dasein) ao espaço aberto que se efetiva como lugar de realização de sua existência. A tonalidade afetiva dimensiona a inserção do ser-aí ao mundo, marcando decisivamente sua relação com tudo aquilo que se apresenta no seio aberto. Tais fenômenos são, mediante características específicas de abertura, compreendidas como tonalidades afetivas fundamentais (Grudstimmung), instâncias essenciais por situarem o ser-aí na tentativa de se singularizar no bojo do horizonte semântico que é o seu. Logo, tais afecções se notabilizam por igualmente abrirem o âmbito do desvelamento do seer (Seyn), apreendido em sua radical diferença ao ente, se notabilizando como articulações que possibilitam a manifestação do ser no ente. This paper engages “A Triadic Conversation” in Conversations on a Country Path. The context of this engagement is Heidegger’s account of τέχνη and φύσις in Contributions to Philosophy (Of the Event) as they are put to work in the conversation of a guide, a scholar, and a scientist. The leading questions are whether Heidegger’s thoughts of Seyn, Wesen, and Machination are helpful to understand and engage the pressing challenges to Western societies? Are those challenges primarily the devastations wrought by a culture of technology and its accompanying mind-set that, according to Heidegger, inevitably lead to war and massive types of destruction among all worldly lives? And is “A Triadic Conversation” an indication of a dangerous alienation from the everyday social and political world in which it was conceived? Stillness and silence play significant roles in the discussion of his accounts of the Wesen of humans and of nature as it brings to bear the everyday events that defined the time during which Heidegger wrote “A Triadic Conversation.” The paper concludes with a reflection on the importance of the differences between Heidegger’s approach and ones that begin by confronting the confusing, uncertain, but specific events that are taking place in the thinkers’ world.

If we are to understand the conditions in which human existence or Dasein might be free, we must understand the conditions in which it is not free, that is, the nature of the conditions whereby Dasein’s freedom is constricted. In this paper I explore the idea that at best Heidegger’s ontology might support a picture of freedom somewhat akin to Spinozan freedom: in the right conditions we might to a greater or lesser degree act in a way aligned with our own being. In the post-Kehre Heidegger of the 1930s and early 40s, this would take the form of existing in a way properly grounded in – or rather, aligned with our ground in – beyng (Seyn) as event (Ereignis). If this is the case, to understand the conditions whereby we are not free – at least at an ontological level – means to understand the nature of our alienation from our ground in beyng as event. In this paper, I examine Heidegger’s account of the nature of this alienation in Beiträge zur Philosophie (Vom Ereignis). In that text, this alienation is described in terms of our condition within an alienated configuration or ‘epoch’ of history – that of metaphysics – a configuration defined by ‘Seinsverlassenheit’ (‘abandonment by being’), expressed in terms of ‘Machenschaft’ (machination), ‘Vor-stellung’ (representation), and ‘Erlebnis’ (lived experience).

AbstractThis paper “on the logics of language” discusses the fundamental role which the reality of language plays in the thinking of Hölderlin as well as in Hegel. Common to both is the emphasis on the ‘Wirklichkeit der Sprache’ – in the double sense of this phrase: the reality language is, and the reality language has. At the same time there is, of course, the great difference that for Hegel the logic of language fulfils itself in the ‘work of the concept(s)’ [“Arbeit des Begriffs”], while for Hölderlin it is fulfilled in forms of poetry or in the broader sense of poetic work. The paper explores the origins, conceptual basics and consequences of the dialectic between moving ‘from language to logics’ in Hegel and moving ‘from logics to language’ in Hölderlin. The main works of Hegel considered here are Die Phänomenologie des Geistes, Wissenschaft der Logik and some parts of the Enzyklopädie (1830); from Hölderlin the focus is on the theoretical fragments Seyn, Urtheil, …, Das untergehende Vaterland … and Wenn der Dichter einmal des Geistes mächtig ist …. One central issue treated by exploring the discussion between Hegel and Hölderlin is their respective concepts of memory and its development. Reflecting on the connection between the power of imagination and the necessity of forms of utterance is the other. The primary aim of the paper is to explain the relevance that Hölderlin’s poetic work has in philosophical perspective – a relevance which can be explained in relation to Hegel.

Im folgenden Beitrag geht es um die Darstellung von Grundlagen der innerhalb der deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur relativ jungen Konzeption des nature writing am Beispiel zweier Lyrikbände von Marion Poschmann Nimbus und Esther Kinsky Schiefern. Es wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit in diesen Werken eine Weiterentwicklung des „Schreibens aus Naturerfahrung zu beobachten ist. Innerhalb der hier vorgeschlagenen Lesart steht weniger der Naturbegriff als eine Form des Seinsbegriff, der sich an Heideggers Existentialontologie orientiert bzw. anlehnt, im Mittelpunkt des Interesses. Abschließend wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob es sich tatsächlich um eine neue „Poesie des Anthropozäns“ handelt, wie es für Poschmanns Werk behauptet worden ist.

Abstract:
A podridão-mole ou podridão-negra, causada pelo fungo Chalara paradoxa (De Seyn.) Sacc., é uma doença de pós-colheita que pode ser responsável por perdas elevadas, tanto em frutos para consumo in natura, quanto naqueles destinados à indústria de processamento. O corte do pedúnculo e ferimentos na casca do fruto favorecem a infecção. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar o efeito de indutores de resistência abiótica, fungicida e extratos vegetais no controle da podridão-negra em abacaxi. Os isolados foram obtidos de frutos coletados no município de Santa Rita, Paraíba, que apresentaram sintomas da doença. Utilizaram-se 32 frutos de cv. 'Pérola', lavados em água corrente e desinfestados com hipoclorito de sódio (produto comercial) a 4,0%, por cinco minutos. Após secagem em temperatura ambiente, os frutos foram pulverizados com os tratamentos: 1) ADE (água destilada esterilizada); 2) Derosal; 3) BION® (Acibenzolar-S-Methyl); 4) Ecolife® (Quinabra); 5) Agro-Mos® (mananoligossacarídeo fosforilado); 6) extrato de alho a 20%; 7) extrato de cebola a 20%, e 8) extrato de nim a 20%. Os frutos tratados permaneceram em câmara úmida por 24 horas, antes da inoculação com um disco de micélio (6mm) do fungo, incubado em BDA a 25±2ºC e fotoperíodo de 12 horas e colocado sobre um ferimento na região da casca. A avaliação do progresso da doença foi realizada seguindo-se escala de notas, onde: 1 - Ausência de sintomas; 2 - Podridãonegra em área da casca equivalente a 1-5 frutilhos; 3 - Podridão-negra em área da casca equivalente a 6-10 frutilhos; 4 - Podridão inicial da polpa com coloração pardo-amarelada; 5 - Podridão e desintegração da polpa atingindo área superior a 50% do fruto. O delineamento experimental foi o inteiramente casualizado, com oito tratamentos e quatro repetições, utilizando os modelos lineares generalizados com distribuição multinomial, sendo as médias comparadas pelo teste de Scott-Knott, a 5% de probabilidade. O tratamento que apresentou melhor resultado foi o indutor de resistência Ecolife®, aumentando o período de vida útil dos frutos e diminuindo a severidade dos sintomas da doença.

Peroneal neuropathy is a rare complication after bariatric surgery, but it occurs in 15% of mononeuropathy. The etiology of peroneal neuropathy is multifactorial and is often blamed for these factors due to rapid weight loss and nutritional imbalance. Emine Karaca, 25 years old, female Patient 1 year ago, she had a stomach reduction (obesity surgery) surgery due to her weight of 130 kg. Six months after the operation, it decreased to 60 kg. Meanwhile, numbness in his right foot began to be pain and loss of strength after the operation. In the EMG performed on May 10, 2016, he was diagnosed with Fibulahead entrapment neuropathy-low foot. He was tied to lie in the same position for a long time during the operation. After this diagnosis, 15% prolotherapy was applied around the peroneal nerve of the fibular head on 11.05.2016. Prolotherapy was applied 2 times with 10 days intervals. L4-5 and L5-S1 segmental neural therapy in the lumbar region and neural therapy around the fibular head of the peroneal nerve and along its trace were applied twice a week. After a total of 2 prolotherapy and 6 neuraltherapy applied in 3 weeks, complete clinical recovery was achieved. This complete recovery was confirmed by EMG. Since electrophysiological findings of denervation occur after 2-3 weeks, it is recommended that EMG examination be performed 3 weeks later. Treatment includes relief of complaints (analgesics and gabapentin), physical therapy applications and support immobilizers. In cases that do not respond to treatment, nerve exploration and relaxation is provided with a surgical approach. Prolotherapy and neural therapy, among complementary medicine modalities, can also be used in peroneal nerve neuropathy.

Although the word discipline, derived from the word disciplining, means teaching or training, it is associated with the application of punishments aimed at correcting inappropriate/improbable behavior (Knox, 2010, Larzelere & Kuhn 1993 cited in Zoysa, 2011). There is undeniably a special interest in parental disciplinary practices (DPP) (Straus & Stewart 1999) within several disciplines. In a country where the physical punishments are considered efficient and normal, presenting the realities regarding the way children are disciplined is more than necessary, it is almost vital. Starting from the premise that adults tend to become their parents (Zoysa, 2011, Fink, 2014), we are interested in finding out to what extent these milestones in education are still respected and how adolescents perceive DPP. 252 students answered online questionnaires and 48 teenagers participating in group discussions confirmed the cognitive theories according to which the focus in parental discipline must fall on moral internalization and autonomy (Baumrind, 1978, Grusec & Kuczyuski 1997). Internalization, along with the maintenance of the child's self-esteem and the parent-child relationship represents the, goals and finalities in fact of the application of effective disciplinary techniques (Grusec, Goodnow, 1994).

Abstract This article expands on some of the polemical theses the author proposes in his book European Cinema and Continental Philosophy (2018), focusing on the idea of European cinema as 'thought experiment', the notion of 'double occupancy', which the author now articulates in terms of a 'cinema of abjection' and the idea of 'mutual interference', which is now re-examined as part of a broader re-assessment of the core Enlightenment values of 'liberty-equality-fraternity' viewed under present-day conditions of asymmetry, but also in light of their 'antagonistic mutuality'. These concepts, taken together, are an attempt to put forward a change of both model and method when studying European cinema, one based neither on the 'Europe-Hollywood' binaries, nor on an ever-elusive identity, but rather on Europe's self-understanding as a 'work-in-progress', as well as on its position in a globalized world, in which it is no longer the central player. Elsaesser proposes to 'enlarge the context' ‐ a phrase coined by the European politician, diplomat and thinker Jean Monnet: if you cannot solve a problem, enlarge the context. Enlarging the context means taking a step back and focusing not on cinema, but on what in this period of intense internal and external crises we mean by 'Europe', before evaluating some of the ways in which certain films and filmmakers have positioned themselves in light of the challenges that are in play today.
