Addition effects of free fatty acids (FFA), glycerol, monoacylglycerol (MAG), sesamol, and aqueous extracts of sesame seed meal (ASM) on the changes of sesamol and sesamolin were determined in thermally oxidized sesame oil (SO) at 180°C for 90 min. Sesamol and sesamolin in SO were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). ในการเสาะหาสารอัลลิโลพาธิคจากวัชพืชไทย และพืชเศรษฐกิจ พบว่าสิ่งสกัดจากหญ้าค้อนกลอง และต้นงา แสดงฤทธิ์ในการยับยั้งการเจริญเติบโตของต้นข้าว จึงทำการสกัดแยกและใช้การทดสอบฤทธิ์การยับยั้งการเจริญเติบโตของต้นข้าวในการติดตามหาสารอัลลิโลพาธิค จากต้นงาและหย้าค้อนกลอง จากการแยกสิ่งสกัดของ ต้นงาด้วยเฮกเซน และคลอโรฟอร์มโดยวิธีคอลัมน์โครมาโทกราฟี พบสาร 7 ชนิด ได้แก่ของผสมไฮโดรคาร์บอนโซ่ตรง (C₂₉-C₃₄), ของผสเอสเทอร์โซ่ตรง (C₂₈-C₃₄), ของผสมแอลกอฮอล์โซ่ตรง (C₂₈-C₃₄), ของผสมของ campesterol, B-sitosterol และ stigmasterol, sesamin, สารประกอบประเภทเอสเทอร์ของไตรเทอร์ฟีนอยด์ และของผสมกรดโซ่ตรง (C₁₂-C₂₄) นอกจากนี้กา
