A palestra “Representação documental no contexto da arquivologia” apresentada por Barros (2020) pelo projeto SESA-ON-LINE abordou os processos de representação que fazem parte do cotidiano dos arquivos, bibliotecas e museus. No primeiro momento, buscou-se através do universo dos arquivos apropriar-se das discussões relacionadas à representação e à organização da informação e do conhecimento; em seguida, discutiu-se a respeito do percurso do conceito de representação sob dois eixos: no contexto da organização depois no contexto da arquivologia, com a intenção de sistematizar as várias facetas do conceito de representação e aproximar dos processos arquivísticos, visando um aprimoramento dos processos classificatórios e descritivos em Arquivologia.

Abstract:
Abstract Sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies over the tropical oceans are able to generate extratropical atmospheric circulation anomalies that can induce rainfall variability and changes in the sources of moisture. The work reported here evaluates the interdecadal changes in the moisture sources for southeastern South America (SESA) during austral summer, and it is divided into two complementary parts. In the first part the authors construct a climate network to detect synchronization periods among the tropical oceans and the precipitation over SESA. Afterward, taking into account these results, the authors select two periods with different degrees of synchronization to compare the spatial distribution of the SESA moisture sources. Results show that during the last century there were three synchronization periods among the tropical oceans and the precipitation over SESA (during the 1930s, 1970s, and 1990s) and suggest that the main moisture sources of SESA are the recycling over the region, the central-eastern shore of Brazil together with the surrounding Atlantic Ocean, and the southwestern South Atlantic surrounding the SESA domain. Comparison of SESA moisture sources for the 1980s (a period of nonsignificant synchronization) and the 1990s (a synchronized period) shows that the principal differences are in the intensity of the recycling and in the strength of the central-eastern shore of Brazil. Moreover, the authors find that a region centered at (20°S, 300°E) is a moisture source for SESA only during the 1990s. These differences can be associated with the development of a low-level anticyclonic (cyclonic) anomaly circulation over central-eastern Brazil that favors the transport of moisture from central Brazil (central-eastern shore of Brazil) toward SESA in the 1990s (1980s).

Sesamin is one of the major lignans found in sesame oil. Although some microbial metabolites of sesamin have been identified, sesamin-metabolic pathways remain uncharacterized at both the enzyme and gene levels. Here, we isolated microorganisms growing on sesamin as a sole-carbon source. One microorganism showing significant sesamin-degrading activity was identified asSinomonassp. no. 22. A sesamin-metabolizing enzyme named SesA was purified from this strain and characterized. SesA catalyzed methylene group transfer from sesamin or sesamin monocatechol to tetrahydrofolate (THF) with ring cleavage, yielding sesamin mono- or di-catechol and 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate. The kinetic parameters of SesA were determined to be as follows:Kmfor sesamin = 0.032 ± 0.005 mM,Vmax= 9.3 ± 0.4 (μmol⋅min−1⋅mg−1), andkcat= 7.9 ± 0.3 s−1. Next, we investigated the substrate specificity. SesA also showed enzymatic activity toward (+)-episesamin, (−)-asarinin, sesaminol, (+)-sesamolin, and piperine. Growth studies with strain no. 22, and Western blot analysis revealed that SesA formation is inducible by sesamin. The deduced amino acid sequence ofsesAexhibited weak overall sequence similarity to that of the protein family of glycine cleavage T-proteins (GcvTs), which catalyze glycine degradation in most bacteria, archaea, and all eukaryotes. Only SesA catalyzes C1 transfer to THF with ring cleavage reaction among GcvT family proteins. Moreover, SesA homolog genes are found in both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Our findings provide new insights into microbial sesamin metabolism and the function of GcvT family proteins.

Abstract Observations, atmosphere models forced by historical SSTs, and idealized simulations are used to determine the causes and mechanisms of interannual to multidecadal precipitation anomalies over southeast South America (SESA) since 1901. About 40% of SESA precipitation variability over this period can be accounted for by global SST forcing. Both the tropical Pacific and Atlantic Oceans share the driving of SESA precipitation, with the latter contributing the most on multidecadal time scales and explaining a wetting trend from the early midcentury until the end of the last century. Cold tropical Atlantic SST anomalies are shown to drive wet conditions in SESA. The dynamics that link SESA precipitation to tropical Atlantic SST anomalies are explored. Cold tropical Atlantic SST anomalies force equatorward-flowing upper-tropospheric flow to the southeast of the tropical heating anomaly, and the vorticity advection by this flow is balanced by vortex stretching and ascent, which drives the increased precipitation. The 1930s Pampas Dust Bowl drought occurred, via this mechanism, in response to warm tropical Atlantic SST anomalies. The atmospheric response to cold tropical Pacific SSTs also contributed. The tropical Atlantic SST anomalies linked to SESA precipitation are the tropical components of the Atlantic multidecadal oscillation. There is little evidence that the large trends over past decades are related to anthropogenic radiative forcing, although models project that this will cause a modest wetting of the climate of SESA. As such, and if the Atlantic multidecadal oscillation has shifted toward a warm phase, it should not be assumed that the long-term wetting trend in SESA will continue. Any reversal to a drier climate more typical of earlier decades would have clear consequences for regional agriculture and water resources.

Abstract Observations show an increase in maximum precipitation extremes and a decrease in maximum temperature extremes over southeastern South America (SESA) in the second half of the twentieth century. The Community Earth System Model (CESM) Large Ensemble (LE) experiments are able to successfully reproduce the observed trends of extreme precipitation and temperature over SESA. Careful analysis of a smaller ensemble of CESM-LE single forcing experiments reveals that the trends of extreme precipitation and temperature over SESA are mostly caused by stratospheric ozone depletion. The underlying dynamical mechanism is investigated and it is found that, as a consequence of stratospheric ozone depletion and the resulting southward shift of tropospheric jet streams, anomalous easterly flow and more intense cyclones have occurred over SESA, which are favorable for heavier rainfall extremes and milder heat extremes.

Abstract:
Purpose. To acquaint readers with the underrecognized subacute encephalopathy with seizures in chronic alcoholics (SESA) that has more recently been associated with different types of status epilepticus. Methods. Case reports and review of the literature on SESA and nonconvulsive status epilepticus (NCSE). Results. Two cases: one with alternating bifrontoparietal NCSE, and one with focal, confusional NCSE, with imaging and EEG correlates. Conclusion. Underrecognized SESA may present as NCSE with focal clinical, EEG and reversible diffusion-weighted MRI abnormalities, warranting expedited diagnosis and antiseizure treatment to minimize morbidity.

Abstract:
Jalan Drs. Esau Sesa is a non-shared two-way connecting road owned by the Manokwari Regency Government, Papua Barat Province. This road is the main road that connects between districts with a road width of + 6 meters. The rapid development of land use along with Drs. Esau Sesa has the potential to reduce road service levels. Field observations showed that commercial activities are high in this area. Thus the traffic activities, as well as parked vehicles are also high, exceeding the facilities capacities. This condition is one of the causes of traffic jams on the road. Based on the data analysis results, Jalan Drs. Esau Sesa has a Road Capacity (C) of 2,061 vehicles/hour with a Free Flow Velocity (FV) of 45,315 Km/hour and a Degree of Saturation (DS) of 0.808. These results are equivalent to the Level of Service (L.O.S) at level D which means traffic flow on Jalan Dr. Esau Sesa began to become unstable, with low traffic jams with creeping currents and vehicle volumes approaching maximum capacity.

Urbanization in Africa is growing at a rapid pace and so is the population growth. Cities in Africa are struggling to cope with the demand that urban migration brings. For example, Africa has over 60% of her population located in the urban areas. These urban locations are sprawling slums due to the massive influx of people and inadequate housing systems. The United Nations, through the Sustainable Development Goals called for a sustainable cities and communities. This project is focus on using the smart city approach to tackle these urbanization issues. With the advancement in satellite application systems, smart cities can be enabled through space technology to address these urbanization and other issues affecting the African region. Integrating space technology, such as communication, Earth observation, and satellite aided position timing & navigation application systems and small satellite technology, to the smart city paradigm could provide sustainable ways in which problems like digital division, over population, natural disaster, etc. could be managed and eradicated.

The general objective of the thesis is to develop a proposal for theoretical and methodological teaching academic about genres in way of the precepts of the Bakhtin and the Circle about the Sciense humanities, the speech of others on the border of verbal interaction and the act of responsibly in college and in life. Action research conducted between 2007 to 2010 served for way about datas and research for analysis and discussion of pedagogical practice. The research corpus is composed by three distinct groups, according to their materiality and their production conditions: electronic materials (eighteen articles and their opinions), questionnaires (forty in UEPB applied to map the students' prior knowledge and forty applied at the enddiscipline) and my observation. The data reveal that the voice student points to study the academic genres, and the act is responsible for awareness and recognition of this unique students no alibi in existence. The Project Seminars Arquivistíscos Knowledge - SESA achieved progress, however the structure chronotopic and institutional factors that interfere directly or indirectly in the learning process are identified as limitations. The explicit presence of word of others in the statements is established by reported speech, an utterance in the utterance of another utterance that is not exhausted in the quote, but should be considered by the apprehension of the word of others. Based on the study of Bakhtin the Circle (me - to - me, me - to - other, other - to - me), elaborated guidelines pedagogical axiological for teaching academic genres that encourage us to think about education since the formation of your resume to effective practices in the classroom, namely: curriculum and didactic transposition, interdisciplinary, academic cooperation, multi (literacies), pedagogical interaction in the classroom. Thinking about the pedagogical principles, the principles organize axiological and ethical interaction for teaching an academic genre that are established in three types of relationships: "relationships between objects; relations between subject and object; relations between subjects" and divided into two categories: principles socio-pedagogical interaction in the classroom; emotive ethical principles of interaction in the classroom. Taking into account the pedagogical axiological guidelines that are interconnected to the effective practice of the curriculum in the classroom, formulate dialogical sequences which we call a chain border academic activities for the production of a genre. Each step is organized in movement that seeks to respond to the principles socio-pedagogical and emotional ethical principles. We conclude that the teaching must be distinguished by the significant presence of your action to participate in this process and represent the discursive worlds. An action can establish a relationship that does not constitute an act by imposing, but that requires opening and it has as the only way to have confidence in the way. In Bakhtinian terms, the relation of friend with the word of another is critical to thepedagogical process. A frontier space where dialogue between Me and Thou is realized and constitutes, a place where theother should be heard, respected and recognized.
O objetivo geral desta tese é elaborar uma proposta teórico-metodológica de ensino de gêneros acadêmicos à luz dos preceitos de Bakhtin e do Círculo quanto às Ciências Humanas, ao discurso de outrem na fronteira da interação verbal e ao próprio ato responsável na universidade e na vida. A pesquisa-ação realizada entre 2007 a 2010 serviu para geração de dados e a pesquisa interpretativista para análise e discussão da prática pedagógica. O corpus da pesquisa é formado por três conjuntos distintos, conforme sua materialidade e suas condições de produção: materiais eletrônicos (dezoito artigos e seus respectivos pareceres), questionários (quarenta aplicados na UEPB para mapear o conhecimento prévio dos alunos e quarenta aplicados no término da disciplina) e diário de bordo. Os dados revelam que a voz discente aponta a proeminência de estudar os gêneros acadêmicos, que o ato responsável é a consciência, e o reconhecimento dessa obrigação singular que qualquer acadêmico terá de enfrentar, sem álibi na existência. O Projeto Seminário de Saberes Arquivísticos - SESA obteve progresso, entretanto a estrutura cronotópica e os fatores institucionais que interferem direta ou indiretamente no processo de aprendizagem são apontados como limitações. A presença explícita da palavra de outrem nos enunciados se estabelece pelo discurso reportado, uma enunciação na enunciação ou sobre outra enunciação que não se esgota na citação, porém deve ser considerado pela apreensão valorativa da palavra de outrem. Baseando-se na arquitetônica de Bakhtin e o Círculo (eu-para-mim, eu-para-o-outro, outro-para-mim), elaboramos as diretrizes pedagógico-axiológicas para o ensino de gêneros acadêmicos que nos estimulam a pensar o ensino desde a formação de seu currículo às práticas efetivas em sala de aula, a saber: currículo e transposição didática, interdisciplinaridade, cooperação acadêmica, multi(letramentos), interação pedagógica em sala de aula. Para se pensar nos princípios pedagógicos, organizamos os princípios axiológico-éticos da interação para o ensino de um gênero acadêmico que estão estabelecidos em três tipos de relações: relações entre os objetos; relações entre sujeito e o objeto; relações entre sujeitos e divididos em duas categorias: princípios sociopedagógicos da interação na sala de aula; princípios emotivo-éticos da interação na sala de aula. Levando-se em consideração as diretrizes pedagógico-axiológicas que estão interligadas do currículo à prática efetiva em sala de aula, formulamos as sequências dialógicas as quais denominamos de um encadeamento fronteiriço de atividades acadêmicas para a produção de um gênero. Cada etapa é organizada em movimento que procura responder aos princípios sociopedagógicos e aos princípios emotivo-éticos. Concluímos que a ação docente precisa se distinguir pela presença significativa da vontade que orienta a sua ação de participar nesse processo e de representar nos mundos discursivos. Uma ação capaz de estabelecer uma relação que não se constitui por um ato impositivo, mas que requer abertura e tem como única via a confiança. Nos termos bakhtinianos, a relação amorosa com a palavra do outro é fundamental para o processo pedagógico. Um espaço fronteiriço em que o diálogo entre o Eu e o Tu seja realizado e nos constitua, um lugar em que o outro deve ser ouvido, respeitado e reconhecido.

Este estudo analisa o Serviço Social da Indústria (SESI) - entidade de atuação nacional - que declara ter como objetivo proporcionar "bem-estar ao trabalhador da indústria" através de um amplo trabalho de assistência nas áreas da saúde, da educação, do serviço social, do lazer e da cooperação e assistência, além da promoção de concursos como o Prêmio Talento Brasileiro e a Campanha Operário Brasil (antigo Concurso Operário Padrão). O SESI ganha especial relevância a partir do momento em que se percebe que sua criação, em 1946, faz parte de uma estratégia sócio-política do empresariado industrial diante do contexto histórico da época permeado por conflitos sociais, econômicos e políticos. Nesse sentido, considera-se que o empresariado criou uma entidade assistencial que ao proporcionar "bem-estar aos trabalhadores e seus dependentes" teria como objetivo realizar a estratégia de "paz social" ("harmonia social"). A assistência passa a ser o meio de atingir um fim maior que é garantir que as relações entre patrões e empregados (capital-trabalho) sejam menos conflitantes e mais harmoniosas. Para este trabalho, além de estudos teóricos, foram realizadas uma pesquisa documental e uma pesquisa de campo. Ademais, a análise partiu do âmbito geral para o específico na medida em que começa resgatando a história do SESI no Brasil bem como sua estrutura funcional (administração, recursos, regulamentos e personalidade jurídica), passando para a análise no estado de Santa Catarina e no Centro de Atividades do SESI na Grande Florianópolis. Nesse estado, o SESI começou a instalar-se em 1948, justamente num período em que ele também vivenciava conflitos sócio-econômicos e políticos. Assim, além de recuperar a origem do SESI catarinense, foi dado destaque à atuação da entidade, tanto em termos do tipo de trabalho desenvolvido e da amplitude desse, como a forma como ele é executado. Também, foi vista a relação entre o SESI e a FIESC. Tendo essas questões como pano de fundo, buscou-se avaliar o efetivo alcance dos objetivos empresariais atribuídos ao SESI, através do significado que o trabalhador - seu usuário - dá à respectiva entidade. Para atingir esse objetivo, foi traçada a caracterização sócio-econômica do trabalhador que se utiliza do SESI e seu perfil político-ideológico a partir de um conjunto de indicadores (Concurso Operário Padrão, associação de funcionários, greve, sindicato e partido político). Foi resgatada, também, a percepção que esse industriário atribui ao seu próprio trabalho, ao empresariado e, principalmente, ao SESI. A partir deste estudo, verificou-se, entre outras coisas, que a tendência predominante entre os trabalhadores usuários do SESI é não saber ou ter vaga idéia sobre quem o criou. Também desconhecem quem dirige e/ou administra a entidade, mas afirmam que os recursos mantenedores dos serviços e atividades sesianos são provenientes das indústrias. A assistência é considerada o objetivo central do SESI, e é avaliada positivamente pelos usuários. Constatou-se, também, que o SESI se afirma positivamente através do trabalho que desenvolve e que de certa forma é mais presente e forte no espaço e no tempo cotidiano dos trabalhadores do que outras instituições, pois tende a ocupar o lugar de outras organizações próprias de reivindicação e representação política e corporativa (sindicato, partido político, associação). Assim, avaliou-se que sua força e seu conteúdo ideológico estão na realização dos seus serviços e atividades, os quais vão ao encontro das necessidades dos trabalhadores. Nesse sentido, seu objetivo de "harmonia social" tende a ser realizado mais através da ação do que propriamente do seu discurso, como se pensava ao se iniciar esse estudo. O trabalho do SESI seria a tradução concreta do seu discurso. Enfim, o SESI é uma organização que faz parte de um conjunto de espaços, de meios, de instituições que vão construindo e reforçando a ideologia e o poder empresarial dentro de um sistema integrado às demais organizações deste segmento. É mais um indicador da crescente influência do empresariado na sociedade contemporânea.

Abstract: The thesis Sertão Seca Sertanejo, has a rhizomatic and hybrid reading on the artistic processes of Os Sertões, directed by José Celso Martinez Corrêa, and the miniseries A Pedra do Reino, directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho. Thus, our goal in developing this thesis was to respond to this problem: What importance and relevance does the sertão, drought and sertanejo triad have in the culture and the arts? And in what way, are their interrelationships with languages developed, based on the theatrical play Os Sertões and the miniseries A Pedra do Reino? In order to understand the perpetuation of this triad in the arts, we conducted a Field Survey, carried out in three states of the Brazilian northeast (Sergipe, Bahia and Alagoas) between the years 2017-2018. Abstract:
The string quintet The Seven Seas attempts to explore the relationship between narrative and abstract perceptions. Challenging the axiom that our mind interprets all in-coming information in narrative terms, the piece attempts to determine to what extent such a condition persists when taken towards its opposite - a non narrative perception. Contrary to what the title suggests, the quintet does not depict physical bodies of water; rather, its main material employs seven pitch-classes C distributed over the range of seven octaves. Thus, the main idea of the piece is primarily linked to the element of register, examining each note as an individual entity from different timbral and spacial angles. Since the main idea of the piece consists of one note in registral disposition, the harmony plays a subordinate role in it and fulfills two functions: (I) articulating sectional divisions and (II) as a means of textural coloring. In terms of counterpoint, all material revolves around pitch class C, widening the pitch-class' territory by slightly deviating from it by half steps to create the illusion of variation. To reinforce its textural complexity, the piece heavily draws on rhythm. In terms of rhythm, the complexity was achieved by either (I) construction or deconstruction of rhythmical patterns or (II) by building polyrhythmic structures.

Sena fördyrande ändringar under produktionsfasen i byggprojekt är vanligt förekommande i byggbranschen. Skanska Mora är inte ett undantag och har börjat se dessa fördyrande ändringar som ett problem som de vill undersöka. Syftet med detta arbete har varit att definiera och minimera fördyrande sena ändringar under produktionsfasen. Målet har varit att ta fram en rekommendation till Skanska Mora på hur de kan förebygga kostsamma sena ändringar under produktion. Förhoppningen har varit att detta på sikt ska leda till möjligheter till fler lyckade byggprojekt på många plan för Skanska Mora, och att skapa diskussion för att belysa grundproblematiken i området.   Arbetet grundar sig främst på en litteraturstudie i områden om fördyrande sena ändringar, ändringshantering i projektarbeten och andra delar i byggbranschen. En studie på tre fördyrande sena ändringar i Skanska Moras projekt Kv. Valhall har genomförts parallellt med en skriftlig intervjuundersökning som skickats ut till en utvald del av projektpersonalen. Litteraturstudien har format studien av projektet för att identifiera och utreda dessa sena ändringar. Utifrån studierna formulerades en rekommendation till hur Skanska Mora ska kunna arbeta för att förebygga dessa sena fördyrande ändringar.   I rekommendationen föreslås att man börjar arbeta mot ett bättre samarbetsklimat för en bättre social miljö mellan alla medarbetare. För att uppnå det så ska arbetet inriktas mot att effektivisera kommunikationen och informationsöverföringen och skapa teamkänsla i företaget och projekten. Teamkänsla uppnås genom att ledarskapet inriktas mot att värna om de inre resurserna, det vill säga människorna i projekten. Att arbeta mot en bättre fungerande erfarenhetsåterföring är också en rekommendation som bidrar till att skapa god teamkänsla och ger möjlighet att tillsammans arbeta mot mer lyckade projekt utifrån att dra nytta av alla värdefulla erfarenheter.

This paper presents a generic technique for the transient nonlinear dynamic analysis (TNDA) and the static equilibrium stability analysis (SESA) of a turbomachine running on foil air bearings (FABs). This technique is novel in two aspects: (i) the turbomachine structural model is generic, based on uncoupled modes (rotor is flexible, non-symmetric and includes gyroscopic effects; dynamics of support structure can be accommodated); (ii) the finite-difference (FD) state equations of the air films are preserved and solved simultaneously with the state equations of the foil structures and the state equations of the turbomachine modal model, using a readily available implicit integrator (for TNDA) and a predictor-corrector approach (for SESA). An efficient analysis is possible through the extraction of the state Jacobian matrix using symbolic computing. The analysis is applied to the finite-element model of a small commercial automotive turbocharger that currently runs on floating ring bearings (FRBs) and is slightly adapted here for FABs. The results of SESA are shown to be consistent with TNDA. The case study shows that, for certain bearing parameters, it is possible to obtain a wide speed range of stable static equilibrium operation with FABs, in contrast to the present installation with FRBs.

The pressurized air cushion on a Surface Effect Ship (SES) can lift up to 80% of total vessel mass. The SES Motion Control System (SES-MCS) controls the vent valves which again controls the air cushion pressure, assuming lift fan air flow is pressurizing the air cushion. By controlling the air cushion pressure one can significantly counteract vertical sea wave disturbances, ensure high passenger comfort and reduce sea-sickness. The case studied in this work is the Umoe Mandal Wave Craft prototype, ’Umoe Ventus’, which is a high-speed offshore wind-farm service vessel specially designed for control in the vertical plane. The SES-MCS can adjust the draft from 1m to 3.2m in less time than the wave period. The SES-MCS can reduce motions significantly in order to perform Operation and Maintenance (O&M) in high seas. The craft is the fastest wind-farm service vessel of its size with high comfort in all relevant sea states. The performance of the SES-MCS is demonstrated through full-scale sea trials.

The 5 Russian Arctic Seas have common features, but differ significantly from each other in the sea ice regime and navigation specifics. Navigation in the Arctic is a big challenge, especially during the winter season. However, it is necessary, due to limited natural resources elsewhere on Earth that may be easier for exploitation. Therefore sea ice is an important issue for future development. We foresee that the Arctic may become ice free in summer as a result of global warming and even light yachts will be able to pass through the Eastern Passage. There have been several such examples in the last years. But sea ice is an inherent feature of Arctic Seas in winter, it is permanently immanent for the Central Arctic Basin. That is why it is important to get appropriate knowledge about sea ice properties and operations in ice conditions. Four seas, the Kara, Laptev, East Siberian, and Chukchi have been examined in the book “Russian Arctic Seas. Navigation Condition and Accidents”, Marchenko, 2012 [1]. The book is devoted to the eastern sector of the Arctic, with a description of the seas and accidents caused by heavy ice conditions. The traditional physical-geographical characteristics, information about the navigation conditions and the main sea routes and reports on accidents that occurred in the 20th century have reviewed. An additional investigation has been performed for more recent accidents and for the Barents Sea. Considerable attention has been paid to problems associated with sea ice caused by the present development of the Arctic. Sea ice can significantly affect shipping, drilling, and the construction and operation of platforms and handling terminals. Sea ice is present in the main part of the east Arctic Sea most of the year. The Barents Sea, which is strongly influenced and warmed by the North Atlantic Current, has a natural environment that is dramatically different from those of the other Arctic seas. The main difficulties with the Barents Sea are produced by icing and storms and in the north icebergs. The ice jet is the most dangerous phenomenon in the main straits along the Northern Sea Route and in Chukchi Seas. The accidents in the Arctic Sea have been classified, described and connected with weather and ice conditions. Behaviour of the crew is taken into consideration. The following types of the ice-induced accidents are distinguished: forced drift, forced overwintering, shipwreck, and serious damage to the hull in which the crew, sometimes with the help of other crews, could still save the ship. The main reasons for shipwrecks and damages are hits of ice floes (often in rather calm ice conditions), ice nipping (compression) and drift. Such investigation is important for safety in the Arctic.
