Abstract:
Since the second half of the 19th century, a new committee was created to prepare for the transformation of the spiritual and educational institutions. The new committee in the devel-opment of the charter took into account the suggestions of the special Committee for the prepara-tion of the «Draft charter of 1862». The new charter includes the definition of an educational institution and the evaluation of the education it provides: general, special. The disciplines and the number of hours, the coherence of subjects with theological lessons were determined. A problem-atic issue of the Tambov Seminary at that time was a large number of state-serving students and the constant growth of eparchial funds for the maintenance of the seminary, the decision of which was taken up by the newly created temporary committee for improving the life of the seminary. The year 1860 in the Tambov Seminary became transitional, from which gradual preparation began for changes in the teaching and educational processes of the seminary, including the search for additional funds for household needs, the introduction of new and the abolition of certain subjects, as well as the development of programs in those subjects that remained in a seminar course. The participation of the Seminary pedagogy corporation in the preparation of the new charter inspired teachers and contributed to the fact that already in the first half of the 1860s they aimed to update many aspects of the life of the Tambov Seminary.

Educating Teachers for Northern Norway – the Institutions in Trondheim 1717–1732

In this article I will give an account of the seminaries between 1717 and 1732 in the cathedral city of Trondheim, Norway. Key questions that the article seeks to answer are who initiated and supported these seminars, and also how they were organized and how staff and seminarians were recruited. Seminarium Scholasticum was initiated by the Danish Society for promoting Christian knowledge (Misjonskollegiet) in Copenhagen. The seminary was located at the Cathedral school in Trondheim and the seminarians were also students here. The purpose of Seminarium Scholasticum was to educate missionaries, catechists and teachers for the Sami population in the northern county of Finnmark. The seminary also served as a pre-school for the University of Copenhagen. Seminarium Domesticum was a private seminary instigated by Thomas von Westen and located in his home in Trondheim. His wealthy wife, Anna von Westen, assisted him and paid the expenses. The two institutions represented two different educational paths. Whilst the prior qualified for positions as missionaries, catechists and teachers, von Westen’s seminary qualified for post as assistants for catechists and teachers.

Seminary is an educational place (dormitory and school) which is devoted to children who have the desire to become priests. These young people are nurtured by the teaching staff of the priests. This study aims to examine the influence of seminary promotion factors, student religiosity, social media and students' understanding of seminary so that they are interested in joining the seminary. Quantitative research was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 generation Z students of SMP Panca Setya 2 Sintang from January 2021 to April 2021. The results showed that seminary promotion and social media had a significant effect on understanding and interest in seminary. However, student religiosity has no significant effect on interest in entering the seminary. Conclusion: Interest in entering seminary is influenced by seminary promotion, social media and students' understanding of seminary. Therefore seminaries need to increase promotion of seminary, social media and understanding of Generation Z students about seminary in an effort to increase student interest in entering seminary.

Abstract:
The site for this seminary is located within the northwest quadrant of the District of Columbia. The site consists of a ridge approximately one hundred and ten feet in elevation bounded by Clark Street at its north western tip and a rocky promontory a quarter of a mile to the southeast. Along its southwestern edge lies Canal Road, the C&O Canal and the Potomac River. To the northeast lies upper Georgetown. My intention was to utilize the natural axis of the ridge to construct a clear line of demarcation between the secular world and the world of religious education and scholarship. It was clear from the beginning that the site had to be developed in accordance with the natural orientation and steep topography of the ridge. The clearest means of access to the site exists to the north east along an abandoned rail bed that intersects Fox hall Road. The new road to be constructed within this depression constitutes the first in a series of moves to create a datum line between the natural setting of the seminary and the urban fabric of Georgetown. Parallel to this road lies a continuous reflecting pool eight hundred feet in length. This second element of separation is broken only at the entry to the seminary. The third and final element of separation is an extended wall that defines both the natural orientation of the site and the linear structure of the seminary. From the northwest it extends over one thousand feet to the southeast. Like the reflecting pool, the datum wall is broken only at its single point of entry. The structure of the seminary can be viewed in its entirety from the southwest. It is a linear composition with a semi-circular terrace at its entry which forms an open air cloister. On either side stand the auditorium and lecture spaces, administrative facilities, library, refectory, seminarian cells, chapel, terrace and bell tower.

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to contribute to find new ways of teaching using the opportunities that Communication and information technology(ICT) give today. This contribution proposes a teaching strategy that allows students to think in a creative way and integrate technology in elementary school. This strategy consist in making the teacher student think themselves as inventors, detecting a need in society, designing and developing an invention that has not been yet patented. Creating marketing strategies for selling the product and presenting all this work in class for peers and teachers to evaluate. It was applied to student teachers during the period 2012- 2015 in a three month Seminary about the use of Technology at School. Surveys show that they are highly motivated with the methodology used at the Seminary and satisfied with the process. Most of them think that it is very useful when planning classroom work for children in elementary school. Presentations done for the seminary showed that the teacher students develop significant learning and many skills using information and communication technology (ICT) for learning purposes. Keywords: Technology, significant learning, teachers´ training

Abstract:
Linguistic and literary analysis of Old Russian literature’s texts implies that a special methodology of studying should be employed. Such a methodology was developed by V. N. Peretz at his “Seminary”, while he was teaching at St. Vladimir’s University in Kiev and at Petrograd University. In the article the principles of reading the text proposed by the scholar are reviewed basing on “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign”, published by V.N. Peretz in Ukrainian in Kiev in 1926.

Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to create a proposal for a seminar program for sailplane instructors. Since 2021, new European legislation has come into effect regulating the flight crew licensing. Part of this legislation is the obligation to attend a seminar for each instructor once every 3 years. The seminars can be organized by the declared training organizations (DTO), for which the organization of these seminars is new and have no experience with it, so this program proposal can help them organize the seminar. This research deals with current legislation, analysis of conditions imposed by EASA, analyses the current recommended flight instruction syllabus for new flight instructors together with the syllabus for training new pilots, analyses selected aviation accidents and finally analyses important chapters in aviation medicine.

Abstract:
This seminar introduces the logic of meta-analytic structural equation modeling (MASEM) and illustrates how to conduct the analyses with R. Meta-analytic SEM is an incredibly powerful tool for hypothesis and theory testing, relying on pooled correlation matrices from primary studies, and this seminar will teach you the basics of MASEM and how to apply it in your own research, using many hands-on examples with Professor Cheung's R package for MASEM. When purchasing the MASEM seminar you will be freely enrolled in two on-demand seminars that introduce the logic of path analysis and CFA/SEM in R by Professor Zyphur, offering a substantial value. An official Instats certificate of completion is provided at the conclusion of the seminar. For European PhD students, the seminar offers 2 ECTS Equivalent points.

Abstract:

Abstract:
This seminar introduces “text as data” statistical methods using R. The course is very applied, with the primary aim of helping social science researchers understand the types of questions we can ask with text, and how to answer them. The seminar covers how texts may be modeled and compared as quantitative entities, and then moves to supervised and unsupervised methods—including topic models and embeddings. At the seminar's conclusion, participants will know how conduct their own text as data research projects. An official Instats certificate of completion is provided at the conclusion of the seminar. For European PhD students, the seminar offers 2 ECTS Equivalent point.
