Abstract:
Článek rozebírá vývoj a útlum multikulturních imigračních politik realizovaných vládami v některých evropských zemích, zvláště ve Velké Británii a Nizozemí. Konstatuje, že posun od multikulturních politik k občanské integraci imigrantů není primárně výrazem pravicové xenofobie, ale spíše liberální reakcí na vzestup protizápadních postojů v některých segmentech imigrantských komunit a sociální problémy jako rostoucí segregace ve městech. Hlavním konfliktem, se kterým se integrační politiky musejí vypořádat, není střet mezi tradiční kulturou imigrantů a moderním životním způsobem evropských národů, ale spíše mezi liberálními institucemi a fundamentalistickými ideologiemi. Článek také reflektuje situaci v České republice, která se od roku 1989 postupně stává imigrační zemí.

Abstract:
Segmentation of an image into individual tree crowns is a key step in the processing of remotely sensed data for forestry practice. The doctoral thesis gives a broad overview of this topic. It comprehends theoretical context from mathematical point of view and defines basic terms from airborne imaging and laser scanning. Mathematical methods of tree detection are focused on a robust adaptation to the actual conditions in a region of interest. A novel approach of crown area delineation is introduced, it combines a seeded region growing technique with an active contour as a crown boundary representation. The parametrisation of all algorithms is analysed in a practical half of the thesis and more application-oriented issues are mentioned. Executable computer programs are attached.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with an analysis of the marketing activities of the company "Österreich Werbung". This company is mainly concerned with marketing communication, whose single elements it uses to promote campaigns of their Austrian partners or its own brand "Holiday in Austria". The analysis is preceded by an analytical and methodological section, which provides important theoretical starting points for the evaluation of the analysis and for recommendations for the future. In the second section the single elements of communication mix with regard to the target group are analysed by means of examples of concrete campaigns in 2010. Due to the analysis carried out, the communication mix of the company is evaluated and recommendations are proposed to optimise the mix.

Abstract:
The airborne hyperspectral remote sensing is used as an approach to monitor actual state of environmental components. This thesis covers priority treatment to analyse of hyperspectral data with the aim of a tree crowns delineation. Specific algorithm applying adaptive equalization and the Voronoi diagrams is designed to subdivide a forest area into individual trees. A computer program executes the algorithm and allows testing it on real data, checking and analyzing the results.

The master’s thesis analyses a selected company operating in the tourism industry. The company has customers from more than five countries and specialises in offering hotel services in the Giant Mountains, especially for Czech, Polish and German clients. The result of this thesis is an international marketing strategy that is in line with current trends in the hotel industry. The secondary objective is to segment current and potential customers by using Google Analytics when preparing international marketing strategy.
