Abstract:
This study examines how ten prominent older Australians—seven male and three female—impart a sense of spiritual meaning to their lives. The study is a secondary analysis of published interviews conducted by Caroline Jones on the Australian Broadcast Corporation's radio program, “The Search for Meaning.” The interviews explicitly address issues of personal meaning. The findings reported in this article focus mainly upon non routine or “spiritual” aspects of meaning. The topics addressed are: global sense of meaning, altruistic behavior, transcendent experiences, life review, and wisdom. Acquiring knowledge emerges as a global life purpose; altruistic behavior is prevalent, transcendent experiences are reported with frequency; life review and wisdom underscores both a sense of coherence and the continuity of personal characteristics over the life span, and a decidedly optimistic orientation toward human nature. The impression gained is one of older persons with an integrated and often deep and spiritual orientation toward their lives.

Abstract: Purpose: There are many problems that occur in the pronunciation and delivery of information both in writing and orally and visually. This happens because there is no filter in language style, therefore language style is needed with the aim that every information conveyed can be digested and consumed properly by listeners according to the age level of the listener Method: This scientific work is a descriptive study use a qualitative approach. using survey, interview, and recording methods. In collecting data the researchers used several interrelated and complementary techniques, namely, observation, interviews, recording and documentation. Results: Intern students are directly involved in the process of covering the media. In this study, while the researchers listened to several parts, namely the recorded documentation on May 14, 2022 that the entire “Sie Reuboh” programme used standard and formal language calls. The researcher concludes that the use of language style in a communication process, especially in this popular voice programme, uses several language styles to convey and explain meaning without having to use excessive word stress. Limitations: The limitation in this study lies in the search for references to previous studies because research on semiotic analysis of language style in the form of sound is still very rarely studied. and data retrieval during recording. Researchers had difficulty during interviews because of the broadcaster's schedule not every day. This research in the future will also cover other radio programs. Contribution: The result language style is more to mediate and straighten out the problems that exist between the communicator and the communicant. Keywords: 1. Semiotic analysis 2. Language style 3. Abstract:
The Purpose of the article is to reveal, on the example of the Ternopil region, the peculiarities of the radio broadcasting process and its dynamics in the western regions of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialistic Republic (USSR) as well as to show the establishment of radio broadcasting in the first postwar years like one of the Bolshevik propaganda tools in the Sovietization. The methodological basis of the study includes the principles of historicism, scientific compliance, combination of system and regional approaches, authorial objectivity, as well as the use of general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and special historical (historical-genetic, historical-typological, historical-systemic) methods. The scientific novelty of the study is based on the original problem formulation, as the researched topic has not been considered in Ukrainian historiography before. In addition, a significant amount of the archival documents that have not been involved in scientific circulation is used in the research. Conclusions. Radio broadcasting was an important tool for the Stalin’s regime to implement the Sovietization policy on the Western Ukrainian territories. Its formation began immediately after the liberation of the region from the German occupiers and during 1945-1947 there was a positive dynamics of its development. The editorial radio broadcast staffs were deprived of their right of independent creative search and were guided exclusively by the Bolshevik Party’s instructions in their work. The radio programs content corresponded to the main directions of the Sovietization policy implementation. Through the radio broadcasting, Stalin’s propagandists were able to significantly expand their audience, directly or indirectly impose the Bolshevik system of values on the people, to implement the priorities of a new lifestyle in which there was no place for the church, private property and freedom of choice in its broadest meaning. Gradually, radio became an attribute of the people’s everyday life in the western regions as it was one of the most accessible media.

Abstract:
Abstract Volunteering provides sense of meaning in life. The impact of volunteering on different dimensions of meaning in life and the mechanisms explaining the effects have been rarely researched. This study examined the effects and the mechanism of a formal volunteering program for mental health in older persons, including training, service provision, and supervision, on two dimensions of meaning in life — presence of meaning and searching for meaning — among senior volunteers. A mixed method study was conducted. 103 volunteers (average age=63.3±6.6) completed assessments at three time points: before and after the training, and one-year after service provision. They self-assessed Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ) and reported time use in different tasks. 26 of them participated in focus groups discussing their experience in the program. Volunteers’ search for meaning differed between time points (F(1.87,173.81)=3.20, p<.01) while presence of meaning persisted. Search for meaning reduced from before the training to after service provision (p<.05) as revealed by post-hoc tests. Proportion of home visit during service provision explained 2.7% of the variance of presence of meaning before and after service provision (R2=0.05, F(6,74)=1.376, p<.05). Findings from focus groups revealed that application of trained skills and building trusting relationship with their clients via home visits are sources of meaning. Formal volunteering may have dual impacts on meaning in life in older age: reducing search for meaning and maintaining presence of meaning. For senior volunteers, being able to apply what they learn and building social connects are the key factors for attaining meaning.

Abstract:
An art therapy exercise program is posed in the article. The author has proven the effectiveness of the art therapy program for a person's search for life meanings. Study participants are 59 women aged 18 to 20 years (M=18,63; Std.=0,72), who noticed various manifestations of the state of meaning loss (apathy, emptiness, boredom, etc.). Standardized psychological diagnostic techniques were used in the research. The first psychological diagnostic technique was the test of life-meaning orientations by D. Crumbot and L. Makholik in adaptation of D.A. Leont’ev). This test allows to identify the life guidelines of a person. The second psychological diagnostic technique was the methodology "Scale of psychological well-being" by K. Riff in adaptation of L.V. Zhukovskaya, E.G. Troshikhina. This methodology was used to measure the level of psychological well-being, which was a subjective indicator of the effectiveness of the art therapy program. The empirical base of the study was made up of two groups of respondents. The first group was experimental (E-group, N=25; M=18,50; Std.=0,60), the second one was a control group (С-group, N=22; M=18,76; Std.=0,72). The author used descriptive statistics, difference reliability analysis method (Mann-Whitney U test, Wilcoxon test), correlation analysis by the r-Spearman method. The effectiveness of the developed art therapy program was confirmed for a person's search for life meanings by the results of an empirical research. The indicators of life-meaning orientations and psychological well-being increased, the strength and intensity between both indicators increased because of the strengthening of the creative activity of the person, which contributed to the deep awareness of the participants in the process of their life experience, significant connections with other people and the world in general, fixation on creative images and immersion in personal meanings that filled these creative images.

Abstract:
In its multiple-meaning, the word “program “ is widely penetrating in the field of social life and is also understood as a list, index, notes (of theatre, concert performances, performed roles, and their performers, in radio and television broadcasts, of authors of reports, scientific conferences, and symposia), etc. Namely, the potential range of application of that term is the grounds for transferring its general meaning upon wider and wider fields of applicability, within which frames to define its aspect meaning and content. For the aims of our study, we determine the term “program” in the aspect of a particular public activity, what social activity is. We use the concept “social program” in this sense, which definition finds manifestation in several aspects: The social program is a perspective concept for the growth of wealth and development of social relations. Social programs appear to be special sections of the economic and social development plans (yearly or for a longer period) of the corresponding planning regions, districts, and municipalities.

Abstract:
This paper examines feelings and emotions in relation to entertainment experiences. Feelings reflect an appraisal of everyday events or media products that shape our experience of pleasure and interest which are complementary. Pleasure can result from the meaningful interpretation of a program or from positive associations that it evokes. Interest in a program can result from intellectual engagement and a search for meaning or simply to alleviate boredom. According to a reactive model of media involvement, a person selects stimuli which modulate feelings of pleasure or excitement. This affective covariation process is superficial in the sense that there is no need for deep processing in order to determine the value of the stimulus. Emotions are more closely tied to the self and the meaning of social situations. Emotion can be related to a reflective model of aesthetic involvement whereby a person interprets the work in terms of relevant aesthetic knowledge and personal life experiences. This search for underlying layers of meaning leads to deeper aesthetic engagement and emotional elaboration. The main point here is that processes related to the experience of feelings and emotions run concurrently. Feelings reflect more global responses to events involving characters and plots. Emotions are more firmly grounded in the search for meaning in depicted situations and implicate the lives of audiences who watch the programs.

AbstractThe first long-term maser (mainly methanol) monitoring program is under way with the radio telescopes of Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Center. The first activity of this program was to develop an observations methodology and data registration and reduction software for the Ventspils telescopes. The developed routines are to be used for maser variability monitoring, investigating short bursts of intensity and a search for new, previously unknown, maser sources. Currently the program consists of 41 methanol masers observed at 6.7 GHz, while new ones are periodically added. The maser sources are observed at 3 – 5 day intervals. It was found that most the sources display a significant level of variability with time, ranging from a few days, up to several months and, perhaps, years. In addition to non-varying masers, several types of maser variability behavior were observed, including: monotonic increases or decreases, un-periodical, quasi-periodic and periodic variations.

AbstractThe Ohio State SETI program has been in operation since 1974, making it the longest-running search. The Ohio State radio telescope is equivalent in size to a 175-foot circular dish. The latest and best all-sky meridian-transit survey is about 60% complete, searching in the Water Hole (1.4 to 1.7 GHz). Signals detected are automatically examined at greater resolution and then tracked for up to 1 hour. A dual-beam pattern-matching system is used for real-time signal detection and RFI rejection. A new 4 million channel receiver built at UC Berkeley is now being installed. A simultaneous broadband continuum survey at 1415 MHz is in progress, searching for natural radio sources that have changed since the previous OSU continuum survey was made 20 years ago. A new radio telescope called Argus is being designed that will look in all directions simultaneously, allow usage by everyone simultaneously, and have no moving or machined parts. It is a large timed array which is based on computers rather than steel. All possible beams are formed all the time, so there is no scanning or need to «point» the telescope. This approach has many advantages over dish-type telescopes, such as RFI rejection and retroactive observations. Ohio State University has decided to abandon its radio telescope at the end of 1997 and allow it to be torn down by land developers.

Following Gödel's own suggestion, this article explores ideas from phenomenology to specify a meaning for his mathematical realism that allows for a defensible epistemology.

Abstract:
ABSTRACTIf the funding that has been requested in NASA’s FY89 budget is forthcoming, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) will inaugurate its microwave search program on Columbus Day, 1992. This systematic search for evidence of narrowband microwave signals generated by another technology will continue at several sites around the world until at least 1998. The search will be conducted in two modes: a sensitive targeted search of selected solar type stars covering 1 to 3 GHz, and an all sky survey that covers 1 to 10 GHz. This region of the spectrum is the quietest in terms of natural background noise from astrophysical sources and/or the terrestrial atmosphere, which is why it was chosen. Unfortunately, at the same time that terrestrial technology has enabled this systematic search, it also threatens to render the search all but impossible from the surface of the Earth. Terrestrial transmissions generated for an enormous number of different purposes will be the signals most frequently detected by the SETI systems! This paper describes the design decisions and observing plans that the SETI Program is now making in order to have a chance of successfully “listening” throujgh this heavily utilized portion of the spectrum. We do not yet know precisely how heroic our efforts to discriminate against and identify RFI may have to be, but we have been accumulating observational experience and data that demonstrate convincingly that the situation is rapidly growing worse. Because of the real-time nature of the signal processing being planned, SETI systems will provide an excellent opportunity to monitor, and perhaps identify, sources of narrowband interference within the radio astronomy bands at each site where observations are being conducted.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the establishing of the organizing models, on one side, and with folk music and its aesthetic characteristics in the interwar period, on the other. This problem significantly contributed to the present meaning of the term ?folk music? (?narodna muzika?). The program of Radio Belgrade (founded in 1929) contained a number of folk music shows, often with live music. In order to develop folk music program, numerous vocal and instrumental soloists were hired, and different bands accompanied them. During that time, two official radio ensembles emerged - the Folk Radio Orchestra and the Tambura Radio Orchestra - displacing from the program the ensembles that were not concurrent to their technical and repertoire level. The decisive power in designing the program concept and content, but also in setting standards for the aesthetic values, was at the hands of music editorship of Radio Belgrade. The radio category of folk music was especially influenced by Petar Krstic (folk music editor in the period from 1930 to 1936) and his successor Mihajlo Vukdragovic (1937-1940), who formally defined all of the aforementioned characteristics, but in rather different ways. A general ambivalence in the treatment of the ensembles that performed at the radio reflects the implementation of their policies. In comparison to the official orchestras, the tavern singers and players received poor reviews in the editors? reports, despite their strong presence on the program. On the other side, the official orchestras were divided according to the regional folklore instrumentarium, but also according to the quality of playing. The Folk Radio Orchestra probably had double leadership, so it was possible to observe different approaches to the music folklore, which eventually resulted in a unique tendency towards cherishing folk music. This paper represents an attempt to show how the media term ?folk music? was constructed and where it currently stands in comparison to the usual study objects of ethnomusicology and popular music studies. My argument is that the discourse of authenticity was fundamental for the creation of official folk music.

Abstract:
The main radio equipment used by aviation specialists are communication, radar and radio navigation systems. Training of students in these areas is a complex task that requires significant efforts of lecturer. The article proposes a concept of simulator designing that are supposed to be adopted in the educational process of civil aviation institutions based on hybrid approach to the virtual simulators designing. Such concept was applied in the development of methodology for designing of simulators for flight electronic support, which involves solving the problem of selective structural synthesis. The problem of selective structural synthesis of design solutions is described using a morphological tree and implies finding the graph edge that ensures meeting a set of rules with the constraints specified in the process of specification drawing up, which is replenished by the developer-user. Due to random nature, the structural optimization method implies a sequential search for possible options. A computer-aided system of simulator designing for flight electronic support systems was developed based on the methodology. The development of a computer-aided system of simulator designing for radio communications, radar and navigation equipment makes it possible to provide effective training of future pilots and air traffic control officers.

The purpose of this study was to find and study about public services advertising community movement program “GERMAS” public health. This research is in the form of field research. Field research is research that is aimed directly at the location of the research to be studied, namely in a community, agency or company to search for data and then observe and conclude. Based on the results of the discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the public service advertisement broadcast of the GERMAS program broadcast by Odan FM Radio is effective, because listeners find it helpful to have information in the form of advertisements delivered through Odan Radio broadcasts, where many people follow several the points in the GERMAS program, although there are still people who do not know about and participate in this GERMAS program, where there are deficiencies felt by the Health Office in delivering the GERMAS program in the community.

AbstractDuring the second half of 1986 tests were made of a new Q-band (43 GHz) receiver designed for the Parkes radio telescope. As part of the trial observation program 12 symbiotic stars were examined for SiO maser emission. No significant new emission was detected from any of the candidates, although several previously known SiO sources (including one symbiotic star) were confirmed. We conclude that potential SiO maser action near the Mira star in most symbiotic systems is prevented by the presence of the hot companion star.

Abstract:
This paper is devoted to development of an algorithm for the synthesis of receiving and transmitting radio devices block schemes. Based on the presented algorithm, it is possible to develop a program that implements automated circuit synthesis. Such a program allows to a developer to obtain the most optimal scheme in the class of Pareto-optimal solutions. The algorithm is based on the method of exhaustive search of structural and elemental designs, and the decision-making method based on the criteria convolution method. The application of the exhaustive search of possible structural-element designs method allows creating a complete set of implementations and thus making choice decision of a scheme according to certain criteria among all possible constructions. This allows asserting the optimality of the obtained solutions, selected from a complete ensemble of possible designs. The use of the vector optimization method to select the optimal structural block scheme design of receiving and transmitting radio devices allows determining the most optimal construction according to the criterion for the highest value of the optimization function formed by the criteria convolution method. In the paper also considered a practical example of the synthesis of the input circuit of the receiving module RF part. As an example, the task of change the electronic components of the input part of the receiving module RF part with alternative microcircuits is given. To solve the described problem, a program was developed in the MATLAB. The results of the program are also given in the paper. The effectiveness of the developed algorithm and method for solving the task of synthesizing a block scheme from an elemental base represented by modern electronic components and circuit solutions is shown. Recommendations on further promising application of the proposed algorithm and method are presented.

Abstract:
BL Lac object 3C 371 is variable in optical and radio range, according to long-term monitoring data, for example AAVSO (American Association of Variable Star Observers) and OVRO (Owens Valley Radio Observatory). In addition, some authors note intra-night variability. However, in terms of access, just a few works are devoted to this topic, and questions remain about intra-day variability in radio range. The purpose of the work is to search for fast variability in radio (5, 6.1, 6.7 GHz) and optical bands (V, R, I) using international cooperation in 2019 and 2020 observation sessions. The 16-m radio telescope VIRAC, in Latvia, as well as optical telescopes AZT-3 (Mayaki, Ukraine), VNT (Vihorlat, Slovakia), and Schmidt camera (Baldone, Latvia) were used. To analyze variability, the STFT method of spectrograms and Lomb–Scargle periodograms for non-uniform time series were used. As result of the work, there is no correlation between optical and radio observations, and no significant quasi-harmonic variability was detected in radio range, but there is irregular low amplitude variability. In the optical range, there is variability with a characteristic time of about seven days and possibly less. Cyclical variability of 3C 371 was found in the optical range, and intra-day variability in radio range is most likely absent, as there are irregular variations and noise. It is planned to continue joint radio-optical observations 3C 371 to accumulate the necessary statistics.

AbstractWe leverage new ultra-deep, high resolution, multi-frequency radio imaging at 6 and 3 GHz with the unique datasets available in the GOODS-S/HUDF region in order to assess the AGN fraction in a faint radio-selected sample. For AGN identification, we adopt a multi-wavelength approach, combining X-ray and (mid-)infrared (IR) selections with radio identification such as X-ray to radio excess, flat radio spectral slopes, and the radio-IR correlation. We identify AGN in 43% of our radio sample, yielding an AGN source density of ∼ 1 arcmin−2. This AGN fraction is likely underestimated, as 1) our shallower 3 GHz data is biased against flat radio spectrum sources and 2) all of our selections may be biased against the most heavily obscured AGN. The James Webb Space Telescope’s Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) will address the latter issue and we briefly outline our Cycle 1 Guaranteed Time Observation (GTO) program to search for heavily obscured AGN.

AbstractThe SERENDIP program is an ongoing search for narrow band radio signals from extraterrestrial civilizations. Each generation SERENDIP instrument has on average been about 35 times more powerful than its predecessor. In this paper we discuss the hardware design of the latest generation instrument, SERENDIP IV, which will be deployed in early 1997 for a 21 cm sky survey at the National Astronomy and Ionospheric Center’s 305 meter radio telescope in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. SERENDIP IV is a 167 million channel spectrum analyzer, covering a 100 Mhz bandwidth, with 0.6 Hz resolution and a 1.7 second integration time. SERENDIP IV’s modular design incorporates a bank of digital mixers and filters to separate the 100 MHz band into forty 2.5 MHz sub-bands. Each 2.5 MHz sub-band is further broken down into 0.6 Hz bins by means of a four million point fast Fourier transform. The resulting power spectra are analyzed by 40 high speed processors. Narrow band signals having power significantly above background noise levels are recorded along with telescope coordinates, time, and frequency. The data are sent in real time to Berkeley for analysis. SERENDIP IV hardware is also utilized by the Ohio State University SETI program and pulsar programs at Nancay Observatory (France), the US Naval Research Lab, the Effelsberg telescope (Germany), NRAO’s Greenbank Observatory and NAIC’s Arecibo Observatory.

AbstractSince its commissioning in 1981 the Molonglo Observatory Synthesis Telescope has been used by the Astrophysics Department in the University of Sydney for many astronomical programs. These include completed surveys of both Magellanic Clouds made to study their SNR and HII content. The SNR work is essentially complete with 55 remnants identified and firm indications that the previously assumed evolution of a typical SNR (if such exists!) is incompatible with observation. The cataloguing and analysis of the HII regions and planetary nebulae data is complete in the SMC but barely started in the LMC. Other observing programs include the mapping of southern radio and ‘normal’, galaxies, the study of variable sources, ‘deep mapping’ of a selection of far southern fields for cosmological studies, studies of mass loss stars, the Galactic centre and a general survey of a strip along the Galactic plane as a long term program. In addition, advantage has been taken of the ‘real-time’ beams for pulsar studies and for the development of a ‘transient event recorder’ to permit a search for pulsed or other rapidly varying phenomena during normal map synthesis. Some of these programs have been completed but the majority are still in progress.

Abstract:
Abstract The Cycling Without Age (CWA) program provides residents of long-term care homes with a bike ride experience, as a volunteer pedals them around the community in a specially designed trishaw. There is limited evidence of the program's effectiveness on older adults, pilots, and communities. The purpose of this literature review is to scope and summarize contemporary CWA discourses to generate future research questions that will provide evidence for future implementation of CWA. Data collection and analysis followed Arksey and O'Malley's 2005 framework. A systematic search was conducted in PubMed, OMNI, and Ebscohost databases. A grey literature search strategy incorporated: grey literature databases, customized Google searches, targeted websites, consultation with expert librarians, and a social media analysis on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Content analysis was used to identify the key themes. A total of 165 sources (2 peer-reviewed, 103 grey literature, 60 social media) were included in the final analysis. The three main themes were (a) meaning from being on a bike, (2) impacts of CWA, and (3) formation of relationships. Findings suggest that the CWA program brought valuable meaning to the participants' lives, significantly improved their happiness, and was associated with the formation of new and diverse intergenerational relationships. A large amount of anecdotal evidence, social media chatter, and global adoption of CWA indicate its importance and potential to satisfy the need of older adults to engage with society. Future research on the physical and mental health benefits of CWA is required to support further implementation of the program.

Abstract:
UX Arietis is an active binary system with an orbital period of 6.44 days. The presence of long lasting large spots on the surface of the more active star has been deduced from optical observations (Vogt & Hatzes 1991).The observations presented here have been performed from December 1992 until October 1994 using the Effelsberg 100 m telescope. The instrument was available for this program in the gaps between previously scheduled observations. For this reason our observations span a frequency interval between 1.4 GHz (21 cm) and 43 GHz (7 mm), depending on the scheduled receiver at each observing time. These data, which are an extension of those published by Neidhöfer et al. (1993), are shown in Fig. 1, plotted in terms of the known orbital period (6.44 days). The search for different periodicities (by using the Phase Dispersion Minimization method) has shown the existence of two main other periods: at 156 days and at 24 days (Massi et al., in preparation).

We consider the use of huge salt domes in the shallow underground of the north-eastern part of the Netherlands as a possible site for such a high-energy ν telescope. Abstract:
An adult language corpus of spoken Hong Kong Cantonese (HKCAC) has recently been developed consisting of spontaneous speech recorded from phone-in programs and forums on the radio in Hong Kong. The database represents the speech of a total of sixty-nine speakers in addition to the program hosts, and has approximately 170,000 characters. It is believed that HKCAC will be of great value to linguists who are interested in studying Cantonese, and speech therapists and educators who work with the Cantonese speaking population. A search engine with a user-friendly interface has also been developed by using FileMaker Pro 4.0 (Chinese version). Apart from the basic frequency information and the display of search results in KWAL (Key Word And Line) format, the search engine also allows users to search for various phonetic realizations of a particular character or the set of characters associated with a particular syllable. The content and structure of the corpus, and the overall architecture as well as the technical aspects of the search engine are described. Search procedures are illustrated with examples. The paper ends with a discussion of the future development of HKCAC.

Religious conversion has often triggered a heated debate that pushes forward scholarly investigation. This paper is not based on a theological study of conversion, but a psycho-social exploration that aims to examine religious conversion among Indonesian celebrities and seeks factors that influence the conversion. This qualitative study selects five Indonesian celebrities who converted to Islam. All data and information were gathered from YouTube and the websites on entertainment and celebrity news. The study unveils that religious conversion is not a simple one-way process. Instead, it is a long process of search of meaning and identity, shaped by interpersonal relations and social interactions. Before conversion, the converts had made personal and colleague relationship with their Muslim friends and known Islam as it was manifested in everyday life through TV program, the call for Islamic prayer (adhān), neighborhood. The fact that Islam is the majority religion in the country has provided environments that further hastened the quest for the meaning of religion and identity amongst the celebrities.

It is important to examine the experiences of students who are receiving additional support to understand how they develop through this complex transition process. Forty-six first-year SEEK students and 38 upperclassmen responded to a set of five narrative prompts of different genres. Using values analysis, the data showed that over half of the values guiding participants’ narratives (53.30%) discussed the many benefits of SEEK and the sources of support youth rely on. Participants used the genres to express the complexities of transitioning to college as freshman, along with a settling in the later years. The findings of this study demonstrate youth perspectives on the ways in which EOPs can significantly contribute to student retention.

The article reveals the content and outlines approaches to the definition of the legal nature of mining. Attention is drawn to the necessity of legal regulation of this activity, which is predetermined by the Federal Program «Digital Economy of the Russian Federation» — a project that provides for normative regulation of the digital environment. In order to support the mission to eliminate digital illiteracy, which is also envisaged in the National Program, the author elucidates the etymology and meaning of the term «mining» and considers various doctrinal interpretations of this concept. The paper presents such analogies of the blochchain technology as the public ledger, DNA, and a layer-cake for a better understanding of the blockchain technology that is associated with mining. Material-technical and organizational foundations of mining are revealed. The author demonstrates advantages and disadvantages of solo mining, pool mining, and cloud mining. The results of comparative monitoring of the attitude to the recognition of cryptocurrency as a means of payment are presented. Attention is drawn to the liberal legal regulation of blockchain technology and mining under the laws of the Republic of Belarus. The paper determines the stages of a law-making process aimed at legal support of mining in Russia. Based on the results of comparison of concepts of entrepreneurial activity and mining, it is concluded that mining represents one of new types of entrepreneurship brought to life due to the needs of digital economy. The author suggests thatmining participants be recognized as self-employed persons. It is noted that the entrepreneurial nature of mining arises questions concerning measures of its state regulation which is difficult within the framework of the existing paradigm, but should be built on the basis of a balance between private and public interests.

Abstract:
We consider the problem of establishing that a program-synthesis problem is unrealizable (i.e., has no solution in a given search space of programs). Prior work on unrealizability has developed some automatic techniques to establish that a problem is unrealizable; however, these techniques are all black-box , meaning that they conceal the reasoning behind why a synthesis problem is unrealizable. In this paper, we present a Hoare-style reasoning system, called unrealizability logic for establishing that a program-synthesis problem is unrealizable. To the best of our knowledge, unrealizability logic is the first proof system for overapproximating the execution of an infinite set of imperative programs. The logic provides a general, logical system for building checkable proofs about unrealizability. Similar to how Hoare logic distills the fundamental concepts behind algorithms and tools to prove the correctness of programs, unrealizability logic distills into a single logical system the fundamental concepts that were hidden within prior tools capable of establishing that a program-synthesis problem is unrealizable.

Abstract:
Serendip II is an automated system designed to perform a real time search for narrow band radio signals in the spectra of sources in a regularly scheduled, non-Seti, astronomical observing program. Because we expect Serendip II to run continuously without requiring dedicated observing time, we hope to survey a large portion of the sky at high sensitivity and low cost. Serendip II will compute the power spectrum using a 65,536 channel fast Fourier transform processor with a real time bandwidth of 128 KHz and 2 Hz per channel resolution. After searching for peaks in a 100 KHz portion of the radio telescope's IF band, Serendip II will move to the next 100 KHz portion using a programmable frequency synthesizer; when the whole IF band has been scanned, the process will start again. Unidentified peaks in the power spectra are candidates for further study and their celestial coordinates will be recorded along with the time and power, IF and RF frequency, and bandwidth of the peak.

Abstract:
Methyl mercaptan (also known as methanethiol), CH3SH, has been found in the warm and dense parts of high- as well as low- mass star-forming regions. The aim of the present study is to obtain accurate spectroscopic parameters of the S-deuterated methyl mercaptan CH3SD to facilitate astronomical observations by radio telescope arrays at (sub)millimeter wavelengths. We have measured the rotational spectrum associated with the large-amplitude internal rotation of the methyl group of methyl mercaptan using an isotopically enriched sample in the 150−510 GHz frequency range using the Köln millimeter wave spectrometer. The analysis of the spectra has been performed up to the second excited torsional state. We present modeling results of these data with the RAM36 program. CH3SD was searched for, but not detected, in data from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) Protostellar Interferometric Line Survey (PILS) of the deeply embedded protostar IRAS 16293−2422. The derived upper limit corresponds to a degree of deuteration of at most ∼18%.

Abstract:
The Female Headed Household Association (Pekka Union) accompanies poor women conducting roles and responsibilities as breadwinners, household managers and decision makers in the family by setting five main themes in their empowerment programs, namely: Economy, Education, Law, Politics, and Media Communication. In communication media development, Pekka Unions in the regions built Radio Community. As a participatory media that requires community involvement in it, Radio Community aims to improve education and increase community capacity. The research is focused on "How do female headed households interpret messages on Pekka FM Radio in Batumulik, Lombok?" The interpretation of Female headed households about empowerment messages on Pekka FM Radio, covers the following: (1) female headed household’s knowledge about broadcast on Pekka FM radio, (2) Frequency of listening, (3) most preferred radio broadcasts, (4) benefits obtained from listening to Pekka FM radio , and (5) changes that occur to female headed household after listening to Pekka FM radio broadcasts. This research used a phenomenological approach to find out the experiences and inter-subjective interpretations of Pekka taken from the in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results showed that the interpretation of Pekka to messages on Pekka FM Radio resulted in a model called the Meaning of Change Model.
