The paper discusses how a schema-based English listening teaching paradigm can help Secondary Vocational Schools (SVSs). SVS English instruction has prioritized grammar, vocabulary, and reading comprehension over hearing. A lack of teacher preparation and large classes with diverse English proficiency has hampered students' English listening experience. To support integrated language learning curricular revisions, the paper emphasizes listening skills for efficient communication. Recursive graph queries are increasingly popular for extracting information from interconnected data found in various domains such as social networks, life sciences, and business analytics. Graph data often come with schema information that describe how nodes and edges are organized. We propose a type inference mechanism that enriches recursive graph queries with relevant structural information contained in a graph schema. We show that this schema information can be useful in order to improve the performance when evaluating recursive graph queries. Furthermore, we prove that the proposed metho

This paper studies a new problem of relation enrichment. Given a relation D of schema R and a knowledge graph G with overlapping information, it is to identify a small number of relevant features from G , and extend schema R with the additional attributes, to maximally improve the accuracy of resolving entities represented by the tuples of D. We formulate the enrichment problem and show its intractability. Nonetheless, we propose a method to extract features from G that are diverse from the existing attributes of R , minimize null values, and moreover, reduce false positives and false negative

More particularly, we investigate some ways in which integration through correspondence assertions affects the interrelationship of two component schemata. One of the consequences of combining schemata is the appearance of events, for the united schema, that allow spurious transitions between models, transitions that would not have been possible in one of the original schemata. The Ontological Square is a four-categorial scheme that is obtained by crossing two formal distinctions which underpin conceptual modelling languages and top-level ontologies alike: that between types (or universals) and tokens (or particulars) on the one hand, and that between characters (or features) and their bearers (or substrates) on the other hand. Thus the Ontological Square consists of particular substrates, called substances, and universal substrates, called kinds, as well as particular characters, called modes or moments, and universal characters, called attributes.
