Full textThe structure of the master's thesis includes an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, bibliography. In the first chapter of the work, the theoretical foundations of car lending as a direction - consumer lending are studied, the risks of car lending present in banking are identified.In the second chapter, based on the general theoretical provisions discussed in the first chapter, an analysis of modern trends in the field of car loans and the state of the auto loan market in Russia , as well as an analysis of the lending practice on the example of LLC "Media-mix". In the third chapter, on the basis of the analysis, the problems and prospects of the development of the car lending market in Russia are identified, and the main trends in the development of the car lending market are considered. In the conclusion, the results of the study are summed up, the main conclusions are drawn.

Full textProliferation of the hair salon business in the Bophirima region has led to intense competition for customers and this can have unfortunate consequences for hair salon’s competitiveness hence survival and economic performance. The only choice left for hair salons in the words of owner/managers who were informally interviewed is to obtain accurate information on market trends and customer preferences so as to tailor products and services to meet customer preferences. From a strategic management perspective, it makes perfect sense that in the highly competitive arena that hair salons in the Bophirima find themselves, research on industry environment to obtain accurate information on market trends and customer preferences so as to tailor products and services that meet customer preferences is a must if they are to prosper. In other words, hair salons in the Bophirima region need to conduct marketing research if they must prosper. Conceptually, it is argued in this study that market research will reveal variables such as market demand, market opportunities, market threats, etc. which if scientifically analysed can produce information that can aid management in making informed decision that can lead to superior business performance. Unfortunately, there is the perception among the few hair salon operators informally interviewed in the Bophirima region that for small businesses such as hair salons, engaging in marketing research will be too expensive, cumbersome, and time consuming hence unnecessary. However, this perception may not be true as normative assertions and research evidence elsewhere suggests that for service organisations, regardless of size, marketing research leads to superior performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the status of marketing research within the hair salons in the Bophirima region and the impact that hair salon’s engagement in generally accepted (conventional) elements of marketing research activities have on the economic performance (as measured by profitability). Analysis of data obtained from 118 owner managers suggest that marketing research may not be something they engage in although they are very much aware of the business benefits of engaging in marketing research. The findings also suggest possible positive link between marketing research activity and profitability. Details of the research as well as conclusions and recommendations are presented and discussed in the report that follows.

Automobile purchasing is a high-involvement process for most consumers. Purchase experience and recommendation from others will impact consumer’s final decision. However, automobile manufacturers usually put sales skill before after-sales service, and regarded it as merely one source of revenue. On the other hand, there is few study focus on the relationship between after-sales service cognition and repurchase intention of car buyer. This study, explored the impact on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention from customer relationship, brand image, service quality, and product quality. In addition, this study investigated the moderating effect of after-sales service on the relations between consumer’s satisfaction and repurchase intention. Survey from 120 owners of Mercedes-Benz, the study found that brand image and product quality will be positive impact on customer satisfaction and thus improve the repurchase intention. After-sales service of equipment and professional will strengthen the impact of customer satisfaction on repurchase intention.

In this study, we adopt support vector machine (SVM) to predict the hair salon wash care product sales volume according to the weather information. With climate-related open data of the Central Weather Bureau including the minimum temperature, maximum temperature, average temperature, average rainfall, wind speed, maximum ten minutes, the maximum instantaneous wind, pressure, humidity, average rainfall for several days and sunshine hours, those weather information are used as the attributes of LibSVM to run the analysis of sales volume prediction. The number of monthly sales volume of the hair salon wash care products from Jan. of 2011 to April of 2016 are collected from Taichung hairdressing salon industry by combining the weather information from Central Weather Burea as the experimental data for the prediction model. The results show that support vector machines can accurately predict the weather information for the sales volume of the hair salon wash care products. The results can help the company of the hair salon wash care products to plan good marketing campaigns and reduce inventory costs.

Full textEsta tese foca-se na aplicação da técnica de time-changed Lévy processes, apresentada em primeiro lugar por Carr and Wu (2004), a fim de deduzir o modelo de Bakshi et al. (1997) com uma distribuição arbitrária do tamanho do salto. O segundo objectivo passa por obter um modelo com correlação total, depois de deduzir o teorema fundamental onde se obtém a função característica conjunta de um número finito de time-changed Lévy processes sob a medida de alavancagem neutra. Posteriormente, obtivémos a função característica exacta para o preço de um activo com volatilidade estocástica, taxas de juros estocásticas, saltos e correlação total. Tanto quanto sabemos, foi a primeira vez que se obteve a função característica exacta de um modelo com volatilidade estocástica, taxas de juros estocásticas, saltos e correlação total.
This thesis focuses on applying the time-changed Lévy processes technique firstly presented by Carr and Wu (2004) in order to deduce the Bakshi et al. (1997) model with a general jump size distribution. The second goal is reach a full correlation scheme, after reaching the fundamental theorem, where we show how to compute the joint characteristic function of a finite number of time-changed Lévy processes under the leverage-neutral measure, we obtain an exact characteristic function for an asset price with stochastic volatility, stochastic interest rates, jumps and a full correlation scheme. As far as we know this is the first time that the exact characteristic function of an model that take into account stochastic volatility, stochastic interest rates, jumps and a full correlation scheme is achieved.
