The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the performance of the company Philip Morris ČR. The evaluation is done for years 2004 to 2010. The theoretical part describes methods and principles which are used in practical part. The practical part is composed from financial analysis and analysis of efficiency. The financial analysis contains horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and the statement of income, the ration indicators, Du Pont analysis, EVA and MVA analysis, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and inter -- company comparisons. The analysis of efficiency contains analysis of performance and productivity and then analysis of complex economic activity. The summary concludes the results of the analyses along with the recommendations.

The work focuses mainly on intercompany comparison of performance. In addition to the outputs from the company's benchmarking, the work also contains processed strategic analyzes. Based on the performed analyzes, the weaknesses of the company are identified and solutions are proposed to improve the current situation.

The aim of the work is to make an analysis of the financial situation in the company "K" in the term of 2004 to 2014, to appraise influences of the environment, that have an impact on the company and on the base of the gotten results to suggest a financial strategy. The work is composed of two parts: theoretical part and practical part.In the theoretical part, there are described methods of the financial and non-financial analysis which are used in the frame of suggestion of a financial strategy. Practical part contains informations of the analyzed company, real analysis of the financial indicators and non-financial factors and the real strategy formation. Strategy goals in the financial field are suggested in order to improve a situation in critical points, that over a long period are in difficulties.

The diploma thesis deals with the impact of innovation on regional development. The theoretical section explains the basic concepts of innovation and regional development, and describes the importance of innovation for regional development. The knowledge gained in the theoretical part is applied to the Central Region in the practical part of this thesis. Firstly, the individual actors in the Central innovation system are characterized and then their impact on the development of the region is outlined. Subsequently, the influence of the European Union support trough the Operational Programmes for the development of the region is evaluated. Due to the fact that innovation is the holder of sustainable economic growth and competitiveness of the region, the final chapter is dedicated to the innovative performance of the Central Region and to the comparison of the individual counties according to their level of competitiveness.

Innovation is one of the most important elements concerning higher performance in company efficiency. This methodical definition takes a look at the main benefits of on innovation on efficiency and hence on the efficiency and performance on the company as a whole, presenting the possibility of measurement of innovation efficiency and establishing defined methods for its improvement exploiting the development of innovation potential This particular issue is topical not only by reason of competitiveness of our companies but also maintaining share market and surviving the current economic crisis. Well managed and successfully introduced innovation into the market represents the tool for the companies, by means of which they can reach competitive advantages, enabling their prosperity in this slump. Every company has a certain innovation potential which should be explored, supported, utilized and systematically developed. The doctoral thesis focuses on the achievement of two basic goals, the cognitional and the inventive goal as well as confirmation or disconfirmation of set hypothesis. The first cognitional goal analyzes the present situation of solved questions, where current opinions and theories of our local and foreign experts are presented concerning innovation and company development. Basic definitions dealing with solved problems are described here as well. Various factors of innovation performance development are being carried out with the help of secondary and finally also primary research in Czech companies. The second related inventive goal is focused on design of methodical approach of increasing innovation performance that can be used in Czech companies. Contributions of the academic dissertation for theory and its contribution for corporation development and managerial practice are emphasized in the end part thesis.

Graduation thesis title: Analysis and comparison ofthe game performance ofthe Czech and Brazilian national teams of trainee officers at the 2003 World Championship focused on individua! defence techniques. Cíle práce: Provést rozbor a srovnání herní výkonnosti reprezentačního družstva kadetů ČR s družstvem Brazílie na MS kadetů 2003 v Thajsku z hlediska vybraných obranných herních činností jednotlivce- blokování, vybírání. Naší snahou bylo porovnat úspěšnost blokování a vybírání mezi reprezentačními družstvy kadetů ČR a Brazílie. Metoda: K provedení rozboru vybraných ukazatelů byla použita metoda zprostředkovaného pozorování, tzn. pozorování pomocí videozáznamu. Analyzované údaje jsou zpracovány do tabulek a grafů a jednotlivé hodnoty následně dle potřeby převedeny na procenta. Výsledky: Ukazují na rozdíly mezi vybranými družstvy a poskytují doporučení pro budoucí práci s mládežnickými reprezentačními týmy. Matzke, M. Comparison of Computational Complexity of Selected Data Mining Algorithms, Diploma Thesis. Brno, 2018. This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of the time complexity and the success of the classification of selected algorithms for mining knowledge from data with focus on neural networks and optimal settings for work execution. In the theoretical part, it is essential to get acquainted with the distribution of algorithms, their functionality and complexity. Then follows the selection of algorithms with focus on neural networks and their settings, especially hidden layers, momentum and learning rate. Another part deals with data used for experimental testing, which are both nominal and numerical data, and also real or generated. Also included is the accuracy of measurement and performance measurement of the two assemblies used to test individual experiments. The third part is the testing of the time complexity and the percentage success of the algorithms and the output especially in graphical form followed by analysis and recommendations from the results with focus on the optimal setting against the automatic and initial settings.

Title: Basic Fitness and Physical Development of the Czech Athletics Federation Sport Centers Members Abstract: Aims: Aim of this thesis was to evaluate basic fitness and physical development among 12-15 year-old boys and girls - members of the Czech Athletics Federation Sport Centers (CAF SCs) - in the year 2012. Methods: We processed results from normalized tests carried out by individual CAF SCs in 2012. After revision and correction of data, we: (a) assessed completeness of reported test results; (b) analyzed results from four tests (50m standing start run, standing long jump, 2kg medicine ball throw and 12 minute run) averaged for age groups (12,13,14 and 15 year old) along with respective standard deviations; (c) compared these data with respective data from previous testing in 2011 and with results of average school population (Zapletalová, 2011); (d) analyzed data on physical development (weight, height, BMI index) and their correlation with results of individual tests, and compared physical parameters with average population data; (e) analyzed results of individual tests for correlation between each other. Results: We received complete data from 2 530 athletes, which represent 73,78% of all 3 429 CAF SCs members in 2012. Physical parameters were reported by only 10 SCs (from the total of 36 SCs)...

Method This diploma thesis is a pilot study using inquiry. It arose in conjunctions with milítary instructors and limb trainers. Military limb instructors, military limb head instructors (person granting instructors license) and air rescuers, both from Army ofthe Czech Republic and Fire Rescue Brigade ofthe Czech Republic, and also head limb instructors from Fire Rescue Brigade ofthe Czech Republic were required to participate. Title: Changes in physical performance of Children at Athletic Preparatory Objectives: Aim of this paper is the diagnosis of physical and technical readiness of young children that are regularly preparing in an athletic course as a preparation for joining ASK Slavia Praha and their readiness for the next step of basic training. Methods: observation, videoanalysis, motor tests Results: During diagnostics of physical readiness via repeated use of a battery of motor tests (60m run, long jump, ball throw, 600m run) it was proven that majority of subjects showed a steady increase in performance. Only with technical activities (long jump, ball throw) there was sometimes a decrease in the results of some children. Also, in these activities the differences among results of subjects started to increase. More talented children increased their results by much more than the less handy. On the contrary, the differences among children in 600m run decreased over time. Title: Development of flexibility and subsequent compensation at various performance levels in rhythmic gymnastics in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find out how exercises for the development of flexibility are performed. The other aim is to find out how the girls are led to correct warm-up and compensation during the training and at home. Interviews with trainers of various levels of rhythmic gymnastics were used to gather information. Furthermore, the thesis compares training routines for the flexibility development between different levels of rhythmic gymnastics programs. Methods: Information was obtained from interviews with trainers of rhythmic gymnastics in the Czech Republic. These were then analyzed. Some questions were evaluated using statistical methods of quantitative research. Results: Three out of five hypotheses were confirmed, remaining two were not confirmed. The biggest differences were found between the free program and the other two programs. The main difference concerned the length of the training units and other different answers arose from this. The corporate social responsibility is the brand and guarantee that firm runs its activities not only within the law and ethical standards, but goes far beyond the law and moral values. Firm demonstrates its social responsibility through engagement in social issues, substitute for the state in support of underprivileged or disadvantaged groups, but also develop activities which have positive impacts on the environment, advocate and meet ethical business principles, take care of their employees, to distance themselves of corruption and bribery, etc. This thesis deals with the objective introduction of corporate social responsibility concept from its origin to contemporary approaches. The thesis introduces related theories which contributed to corporate social responsibility as well. This thesis examines the influence of EU development grants upon economic performance of SMEs in the South Moravian region. Data concerning the economic performance of a sample of ten chosen companies in years 2006-2011 was obtained from the Business registry. The economic performance of chosen SMEs was identified using performance indicators such as vertical analysis, horizontal analysis and ratios and consequently EVA spread and EVA were calculated. The results of the companies were compared with the manufacturing industry. Data concerning the economic performance of the manufacturing industry were obtained from the web pages of the Ministry of industry and trade. Differences in the companies' performance due to the grant were identified using the F-test and T-test. Also Fish-er's test was used to examine connection between different factors concerning the quantitative results as well as the qualitative results obtained from a survey. The index method was used to identify significant factors influencing the yearly changes of ROE.

The aim of the paper was the comparison of performance indicators of selected local action groups for the program period of 2007-2013. For the comparison, the Local Action Group Blatensko and the Local Action Group Strakonicko were selected. Both groups are located in South Bohemia and were suitable for comparison. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the LEADER method, its principles, history and origin. Then the focus shifts on explaining terms such as local action group, their standards, community-led local development, evaluation and monitoring. In the practical part, selected performance indicators which are used to evaluate LAG activity were analyzed. The result of this work was evaluation and comparison of selected LAGs. According to the analyzes, we have concluded that LAG Strakonicko is more successful and more efficient. The reason is better processing of the strategic plan and the Strategic document LEADER 2007-2013 itself.
