Full textEscoamentos espiralados incidentes em superfícies são escoamentos altamente complexos, envolvendo uma variedade grande de regimes. A previsão numérica deste tipo de escoamento pode auxiliar na compreensão dos diversos fenômenos envolvidos, o que poderá permitir o desenvolvimento de processos mais eficientes, assim como auxiliar na avaliação de modelos de turbulência. Visando avaliar o desempenho de diferentes modelos de turbulência para a previsão de um jato axi-simétrico espiralado incidindo em uma placa quente, determinou-se numericamente o escoamento com o auxílio da ferramenta computacional FLUENT, utilizando duas metodologias. A primeira baseada na média de Reynolds (RANS) e a segunda na simulação de grandes escalas (LES). Diversos modelos RANS de duas equações diferenciais foram testados, visando identificar a validade de aplicação de cada um deles através da comparação com dados experimentais disponíveis. A metodologia LES foi avaliada utilizando o modelo dinâmico de sub-malha de Smagorinsky. Apesar do alto custo, devido à necessidade de utilizar grande espaço de memória e tempo de simulação, os resultados obtidos com a metodologia LES foram significativamente superiores, uma vez que o escoamento apresenta alta anisotropia, a qual os modelos RANS apresentam dificuldade em prever.
Incident swirling jets are complex flow, which involve a large variety of regimes. The numerical prediction of this type of flow can help understand the several phenomena present, which could allow development of more efficient processes, as well as assist in the evaluation of turbulence models. Aiming to evaluate the performance of different turbulence models in the predict of an axi-symmetric swirling jet impinging to a hot plate, the flow field was determined with the computational tool FLUENT, by employing two methodologies. The first one is based on the Reynolds average (RANS) and the second one is based on the Large Eddy Simulation (LES). Several two differential equations RANS models were tested, in order to identify their range of validity, by comparing with available experimental data. The methodology LES was evaluated with the dynamic Smagorinsky sub-grid model. In spite of the high cost, due to the need of utilizing a large memory space and simulation time, the results obtained with the LES methodology were significantly superior, due to the high anisotropy of the flow, which the RANS models have difficult to predict.

The work is focused on solving the actual scientific and applied problem of the heat transfer intensification in plate heat exchangers of welded design for special applications, namely the heat recovery of flowsheets in refineries and chemical plants. The work suggests the new approaches towards estimation of heat and hydraulic behavior inside channels of plate heat exchangers with welded sealing. The proposed approach is based on the heat and momentum transfer analogy, and is applicable for corrugated plates of square and round shape. The semi-empirical correlation determining the heat transfer in the channel of plate heat exchangers, which enables to take into account the influence of the Prandtl number, is developed. A physical-and-mathematical model of fouling deposition during the time in welded plate heat exchangers is proposed based on the "threshold" fouling model concept, which allow the thermal resistance caused by fouling deposition to be predicted in time for different velocities of the flow and temperatures of eat carriers. The possible application conditions for crude oil pre-heat train are considered and welded plate heat exchangers of two types with minimal heat transfer surface area were designed for each operation position. The modification of shell-and-plate heat exchangers was proposed, applying the plates with different cross-section area of cold and hot channels, which can be used for the conditions when the flow rates for the heat carriers differs significantly. The case study of the waste heat utilization from refinery is considered. The utilization of the waste low-grade heat for the district heating and hot tap water supply is proposed, with the design of twenty individual heat sub-stations for each household using the welded plate heat exchangers.

Consideramos em detalhes os fenômenos locais que ocorrem genericamente em famílias de curvas com dois parâmetros. Obtemos informações sobre as inflexões e vértices que aparecem nas curvas deformadas. Obtemos também as configurações das evolutas das curvas e das suas deformações e aplicamos os nossos resultados nas projeções ortogonais de curvas espaciais. Finalmente, consideramos o perfil de uma superfície regular no espaço Euclidiano R3. O perfil é a imagem do conjunto singular de uma projeção ortogonal da superfície, esta é uma curva plana e pode ter singularidades. Estudamos as alterações na geometria do perfil quando a direção de projeção muda localmente na esfera unitária.

У кваліфікаційній роботі досліджуються напружено-деформований стан складних круглих пластин при змішаних крайових умовах та різних варіантах навантаження. Розглянуто клас круглих пластин дискретно-змінної товщини. Розв’язано задачу про визначення статичного деформування такої пластини, яка знаходиться під дією зовнішнього нормального навантаження. Застосовано асимптотичний метод до розв’язування напружено-деформованого стану круглих пластин змінної жорсткості.
EN : The work is presented on 78 pages of printed text, 12 figures, 7 tables, 45 references, 2 supplements. The object of study is the research of the static deformation of composite circular plates. The aim of study is the research is to investigate the static deformation of composite circular plates under mixed boundary conditions. The method of research is analytical, numerical. Stress-deformed state of complex circular plates under the mixed boundary conditions and different loading variants are investigated in the qualification work. The class of circular plates of discrete-variable thickness are considered studied. The problem of determining the static deformation of such a plate, which is under the influence of the external normal load, is reviewed dealt with. Also, the asymptotic method has been stitched to the release of a strained-deformed mill of circular plates of varying degrees of rigidity.
