The poetry analyzed are “Hatiku Selembar Daun”, “Yang Fana Adalah Waktu”, and “Akulah Si Telaga”. The poetry are analyzed using qualitative research methods, which are analyzed descriptively through words, lines, and verses, using Roland Barthes's semiotic theory. The results of this study explain that the myth that Barthes interpreted as an ideology delivered by poets in his poetry to instill the view of Islam in living life because of moral degeneration that occurs in humans today. Through the poetry, the poet contests his ideology about attitudes and traits that must be possessed by humans based on the teachings of Islam, that: First, humans are very fragile creatures. Second, there is no eternity on this earth. Third, sacrifices that do not ask for rewards or profit.

Abstract:
AbstractThe most characteristic hallmark of life is its homochirality: all biomolecules are usually of one hand, e.g. on Earth life uses only L-amino acids for protein synthesis and not their D mirror images. We therefore suggest that a search for extra-terrestrial life can be approached as a Search for Extra- Terrestrial Homochirality (SETH). The natural choice for a SETH instrument is optical rotation, and we describe a novel miniaturized space polarimeter, called the SETH Cigar, which could be used to detect optical rotation as the homochiral signature of life on other planets. Moving parts are avoided by replacing the normal rotating polarizer by multiple fixed polarizers at different angles as in the eye of the bee. We believe that homochirality may be found in the subsurface layers on Mars as a relic of extinct life, and on other solar system bodies as a sign of advanced pre-biotic chemistry. We discuss the chiral GC-MS planned for the Roland lander of the Rosetta mission to a comet and conclude with theories of the physical origin of homochirality.

Dystopia in Film Tiga Liberalism Conditions (Roland Barthes Semiotics Studies about Dystopia on Liberalism in Jakarta in Film Tiga). This study goals is to determine the meaning of dystopian condition of Jakarta in the Film Tiga through the sign, signifier and signified. Three films is a film that adopts Liberal describe the depravity of Jakarta twenty years in the future in 2036. The method used semiotic analysis of Roland 2 Bartes. The object of research is the Film Tiga were directed by Anggy Umbara and classified through five objects dystopia condition of Jakarta, dystopian condition of the state apparatus, dystopia conditions of religion, dystopia technology, and dystopias journalism to find signs and markers and meaning at the level of the first and second, the denotation, connotations and myths. These results indicate that the situation of Jakarta transformed into an increasingly metropolis marked by the increasing number of high-rise buildings, as well as demonstrations marked depicted in 2015 until 2025. In 2026, the revolution ended and became State Liberalism. Changes in the State apparatus are characterized by the wish to dominate the world to create freedom in the face of the earth. One is to get rid of religion, by damaging the face of religion. State Officials do havoc with bring into conflict of the Religion. Changes religion marked by shifting religious values, is marked by religion becomes a thing wrong choice. The lack of freedom is depicted in this film, must be eradicated in order to function in a Liberal to be ideal. Technological changes are interpreted as changes in technology that convey information quickly, as well as the ability to hacked That meaning is characterized by technological devices that undergo changes such as, mobile phones, flash, televisions, doors, computers, laptops and so forth is now transformed into transparent. The changes meant the journalistic agenda setting media that is still happening characterized by lack of freedom of the press.

Abstract:
The customary practice across both feature-length cel-animated cartoons and television animation has been to cast adults in the vocal roles of children. While these concerns raise broader questions about the performance of children and childhood in animation, in this article I seek to examine the tendency within computer-animated films to cast children-as-children. These films, I argue, offer the pleasures of “captured” performance, and foreground what Roland Barthes terms the “grain” of the child’s voice. By examining the meaningless “babbling” and spontaneous vocalisations of the aptly-named child Boo from Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. (2001), this article offers new ways of conceptualising the relationship between animation and voiceover, suggesting that computer-animated films celebrate childhood by emphasising the verbal mannerisms and vicissitudes of the unprompted child actor. The calculated fit between the digital children onscreen and the rhythms of their unrefined speech expresses an active engagement with the pleasures of simply being young, rather than privileging growing up. Monsters, Inc. deliberately accentuates how the character’s screen voice is authentically made by a child-as-a-child, preserving the unique vocal capabilities of four-year-old Mary Gibbs as Boo, whilst framing her performance in a narrative which dramatises the powers held within the voice of children.

Magness, Jodi. "Were Sacrifices Offered at Qumran?" Journal of Ancient Judaism 7, no. 1 (May 14, 2016): 5–34. http://dx.doi.org/10.30965/21967954-00701003.

Abstract:
Among the most puzzling features at Qumran are deposits of animal bones belonging to sheep, goat, and cattle, mixed with ash, which were placed on the ground between large potsherds or inside jars and covered with little or no earth. The deposits are concentrated in the open air spaces, mainly on the northwest and southeast sides of the site. Following Roland de Vaux, most scholars have interpreted these deposits as the remains of ritual but non-sacrificial meals eaten by the Qumran sectarians. However, comparisons with remains from ancient sanctuaries around the Mediterranean world and Near East leave little doubt that these deposits represent sacrificial refuse and consumption debris. Furthermore, records from de Vaux’s excavations suggest that in the first century B. C. E., an altar was located in an open air space on the northwest side of the site. The possibility that animal sacrifices were offered at Qumran is supported by legislation in sectarian works and in non-sectarian works that were considered authoritative by the sect. This evidence suggests that the Qumran sectarians observed the laws of the desert camp with the tabernacle in its midst, including offering animal sacrifices as mandated by biblical law.

Abstract:
AbstractThis article updates Karen May’s earlier 2012 hypothesis (Could Captain Scott have been saved? Revisiting Scott’s last expedition). In this revised hypothesis, Cecil Meares, not Surgeon E. L. Atkinson, originated the unsubstantiated statement that “Strict injunctions had been given by Scott that the dogs should not be risked in any way.” This hypothesis incorporates new information uncovered since 2012, specifically Meares’ misrepresentations during the Terra Nova expedition; Atkinson’s 1911 journal entries; Atkinson’s 1919 allegation that Meares had “disobeyed orders”; and Tryggve Gran’s “The Race for the South Pole between Scott and Amundsen”, a 1945/post-1945 document that appears to have been Roland Huntford’s source for anecdotes in Huntford’s 1979 Scott–Amundsen biography. The article gives a proposed chronology for how Meares’ early misrepresentations and Gran’s later misunderstandings influenced the decisions, and later presentations, of the Terra Nova expedition.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Florence Bascom (1862-1945) was a petrologist and field geologist at Bryn Mawr College who provided a basic description and interpretation of major areas of Pennsylvania and surrounding regions. This paper is the first of a two-part study that explores the question of how Bascom became a geologist. The initial phase of this process took place in Wisconsin, to which she moved at the age of twelve when her father became president of the University at Madison. Both of her parents supported women's education, rights, and suffrage.Bascom graduated from the coeducational university in 1882 and, in a series of fits and starts in which scientific study alternated with social pleasures and non-scientific pursuits, she began to take a serious interest in geology. In 1883-84 she studied under two well known geologists there, Roland D. Irving and his student Charles R. Van Hise, obtaining a B.S. degree. Although she did not participate in field work, she conducted laboratory research on the gabbros of Lake Superior using the petrographic microscope and thin sections. She obtained a Master's degree from the University in 1887 on the basis of this investigation.

Florence Bascom (1862-1945) was a petrologist and field geologist at Bryn Mawr College who provided a basic description and interpretation of major areas of Pennsylvania and surrounding regions. This paper is the second of a two-part study that explores the question of how Bascom became a geologist. The first part dealt with Bascom's early history in Wisconsin, from the time she went to Madison at the age of 12 to her completion of a Master of Science degree in Microscopic Lithology under Roland D. Irving (1847-1888) at the University Of Wisconsin in 1887.This second part of the study begins with Bascom's experience teaching at Rockford Seminary in Illinois, where she was exposed to Mary E. Holmes (1850-1906). who had obtained a doctorate in paleontology from the University of Michigan. It then details the extension of Bascom's education from a limited laboratory-based experience to involvement in field work with George Huntington Williams (1856-1894) at Johns Hopkins University in the years 1891-1893. Johns Hopkins did not officially admit women to graduate study then. Nevertheless, on the basis of combined field and laboratory research in the Monterey district of Pennsylvania, Bascom received the first doctorate granted to a woman at the University. She was then hired as an Assistant in Geology by Edward Orton (1829-1899), at Ohio State University, a highly unusual appointment at that time. In addition to teaching, she was engaged in field and laboratory work at Ohio State until 1895, when she was hired by Martha Carey Thomas (1857-1935) at Bryn Mawr.

Abstract:
Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common causes of orthopedic disability in people under 45 years of age. Primary LBP accounts for more than 90 % of all cases. The main objectives of treatment are to slow the progression of the degenerative process, reduce the intensity of inflammation and pain, increase functional activity and quality of life of patients. The solution of the set tasks is impossible without effective complex influence on numerous links of pathogenesis of degenerative-dystrophic and inflammatory process and ensuring safety at treatment. The objective: to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of complex conservative treatment of primary LBP with the use of the drug Alsokam (meloxicam) in patients with uncomplicated forms of degenerative-dystrophic lesions of the spine in the period of exacerbation. Materials and methods. A non-randomized, prospective comparative clinical study in two parallel groups involved 30 patients with exacerbation of LBP on the background of uncomplicated forms of degenerative-dystrophic lesions of the spine (osteochondrosis, spondyloarthritis). The mean age of patients was 40±7,2 years. There were 12 (40 %) female patients and 18 (60 %) male patients. The main group consisted of 15 patients who were prescribed the drug Alsokam (meloxicam) at a dose of 15 mg 1 time per day intramuscularly for 7 days. The control group consisted of 15 patients who received diclofenac sodium at a traditional daily dose of 75 mg intramuscularly once daily for 7 days during the same treatment period. In both groups, tolperisone 150 mg 3 times a day and B vitamins were also used for 10 15 days. Outcome evaluation parameters included: Visual analog pain scale (VAS), Huskisson; assessment of the patient’s functional status on the Roland-Morris scale (RDQ-24); accounting for side effects and adverse events in the observation groups. Results. In both groups, a significant decrease in the intensity of the pain syndrome was observed in the assessment of pain by VAS, but no statistically significant difference was observed between the observation groups (p=0,312). The analysis of the results of the evaluation of RDQ-24 also showed an increase in functional capacity in both groups, but without a significant difference between the groups of clinical observation (p=0,302). Analysis of the number of undesirable side effects in the observation groups showed a significantly lower frequency in patients of the main group with a high statistical probability (p<0,01). Conclusions. The results of a clinical study showed the effectiveness of meloxicam (Alsokam) in the complex conservative treatment of patients with primary LBP in the period of exacerbation, which correlates with the effect of diclofenac sodium in the average daily dose. The nature and frequency of adverse reactions in the main and comparator groups showed that meloxicam in Alsocam has a significantly higher safety profile compared to diclofenac sodium, and its use in complex treatment regimens for patients with primary LBP syndrome reduces the risk of NSAIDs gastropathies.

Abstract:
In this paper, seismic activity characteristics in the East Sea area was analyzed by authors on the base of the unified earthquake catalog (1900-2017), including 131505 events with magnitude 3 ≤ Mw ≤ 8.4. The seismic intensity in the East Sea during the period 1900-2017 is characterized by the earthquake representative level Mw = 4.7. The strong earthquake activity in the East Sea area clearly shows the regularity in each stage. In the period from 1900 to 2017, the East Sea area has four periods of strong earthquake activity, each stage is nearly 30 years with particular characteristics. The distribution of the maximum earthquake quantities by years has a cyclicity in all four periods. In each stage there are 1-2 strong earthquakes with Mmax ≥ 8.0. The strong earthquakes with Mmax ≥ 7.5 have occurred by a repeatable rule of 3-5 years in all four stages. This allows the prediction of the maximum earthquake repeat cycle of Mmax ≥ 7.5 in the study area is 3-5 years. In other hand, the maximum magnitude values for the East Sea region has assessed by GEV method with several different predict periods (20, 40, 60, 80, 100 years), with predicted probability 80%. We concluded that it is possible that earthquake have Mmax = 8.7 will occur in next 100 years.ReferencesBautista C.B., Bautista M.L.P., Oike K., Wu F.T., Punongbayan R.S., 2001. Abstract:
The purposes of retreatment are to eliminate the cause for failure of initial endodontic treatment and to preserve the tooth as well. The aim of this study is a comparative evaluation of efficacy of Protaper rotaty retreatment instruments for gutta-percha removal with or without solvents specific both to the sealer and gutta-percha. Materials and methods: Forty single-rooted extracted teeth were randomly divided into 4 groups according to different methods of retreatment. The teeth were prepared with Protaper Universal system (Dentsply-Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) and filled using lateral condensation of gutta-percha and AH Plus (Dentsply DeTrey, Konstanz, Germany). All root canal fillings were removed using Protaper Universal Retreatment system (Dentsply-Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland). During the retreatment procedure, in group 1 Resosolv (Pierre Rolland, Merignac, France) was used; in group 2 eucalyptol was used, in group 3 Endosolv E (Septodont, Paris, France) was used and in group 4 no solvent was used. The times required for retreatments and radiographycal evaluation after retreatment were recorded. Results: All root canals showed filling material remnants and group 1 with specific solvent for AH Plus recorded the shortest time. Conclusions: Although it is not possible to eliminate the entire filling material on the canal walls, the duration of retreatment was reduced by the use of a solvent specific to the sealer compared with a gutta-percha solvent or no solvent.

Abstract:
Referencias Bernal, John D.
