Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this discursive exploration that is influenced by ethnography and autoethnography is to present how Western-based music therapy intersects with the pluralistic healthcare culture in Malaysia. We will first be situating music therapy as a Eurocentric-based healthcare practice. We will then introduce the history of Malaysia and healthcare culture through a pluralistic lens, drawing inspiration from a popular Malaysian street food—rojak, a form of salad. We use rojak as an analogy to honor Malaysia’s food culture while drawing similarities between the diverse flavors and textures between the distinct components of rojak, with the unique pluralism that exists throughout Malaysian culture and healthcare practices. Through this rojak pluralist lens, we will share several unique Malaysian vignettes to explore the different ways we consider Eurocentric music therapy as a potentially colonial practice, ranging from postcolonial theory perspective to a pragmatic, inclusive perspective. As Malaysia has maintained its pluralistic culture as a uniquely multiracial Asian country despite the lengthy history of colonization, we offer these Malaysian, post-British-colonial music therapy vignettes in this article.

Abstract:
The growth of Vibrio cholerae O139 inoculated into cendol (a mixture of coconut milk, brown sugar, and green jelly from rice flour), rojak (prawn paste, sugar, soy sauce, spices, garlic, and peanut gravy), gravy, tofu, fried tofu, and wheat-flour noodles (all except rojak gravy containing the natural microbial flora) was examined at four incubation temperatures (7, 15,25, and 35°C). V. cholerae O139 grew well in cendol incubated at 25 and 35°C but not at 15°C or below. No growth of V. cholerae O139 in rojak gravy was detected at any temperature except for very slow growth at 35°C. V. cholerae O139 inoculated into tofu exhibited slow growth at 25 and 35°C and growth was not detected at 7 and 15°C. However, in fried tofu, the organism entered the growth phase after 12 h of incubation at 25 and 35°C. Growth of V. cholerae O139 was not demonstrated in noodles at any incubation temperatures. Nutrient broth with 1% NaCl added supported the growth of V. cholerae O139 at 25 and 35°C. At both of these incubation temperatures mean generation time was longer at pH 5 than at pH 8. The high variation in growth of V. cholerae O139 in the distinct foods examined might have been due to differences in pH, fat content, and aw. Proper sanitary practices and storage of foods at refrigeration temperatures will help to reduce the possibility of growth by Vibrio cholerae O139 in foods to levels which do not imply a risk for food-poisoning.

Foodborne hazards in seafood have only recently received increased attention in Singapore since the illness outbreak in 2009 that was associated with consumption of Indian rojak (a traditional salad of fruits, vegetables, and seafood). The microbiological quality of seafood must be evaluated for assurance of food safety. The aim of this study was to evaluate the microbiological quality and to determine the prevalence of Salmonella and Vibrio spp. in seafood sold in Singapore. A total of 116 samples (41 prawn, 44 shellfish, and 31 fishball samples) were collected from major supermarkets and wet markets in Singapore. The mesophilic and psychrotrophic bacterial counts for prawn, shellfish, and fishballs were 2 to 7 log CFU/g. One Salmonella Lexington strain was isolated from a thawed-frozen shellfish product and two Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains were isolated from commercial fishball and shrimp meat products. Thus, seafood sold in Singapore has the potential to be contaminated with Vibrio spp. and Salmonella, and proper handling at food service establishments is required to ensure food safety. Effective control measures also are needed to prevent cross-contamination during postharvest seafood processing.

This study aims to design a reservation system table and food at Roast Chicken Restaurant Mang Rojak that has not utilized internet technology. This application is a solution to the reservation problems that occur and can be used as a means of developing services to customers. The system development method used is the waterfall model. This method consists of several stages of activity flow that runs in one direction from the beginning to the end of the system development project, starting from the analysis of design, design, coding, testing and system implementation. In the analysis phase, the data were collected by observation and interview. The testing of this application is done with Black Box Testing. The results of the study have provided sufficient information about the current food ordering procedure, so that the new system is needed. This table and food reservation information system is website-based that supports online ordering process. This system also provides menu price information and other promotions without coming to the restaurant. Development of this application is needed in order to be able to help issues related to information needs both for the company and customers

Abstract:
Celem artykułu jest zestawienie trzech koncepcji uniwersaliów prezentowanych przez Pawła Rojka w Tropach i uniwersaliach z koncepcjami uprawdziwiania. Rojek poddaje analizie trzy podejścia do problemu jedności w wielości: (1) jedności szczegółowej obejmującej abstrakcyjne własności, (2) jedności ogólnej uchwytującej nieokreślone aspekty oraz (3) wyróżnienie konkretnych uniwersaliów. Dwa pierwsze interpretuje w odniesieniu do teorii uprawdziwiania, przywołując „argument z passiflory” i rozwijając jego autorską wersję. W tekście kontynuuję refleksję Rojka, rozwijając ją w odniesieniu do trzeciej koncepcji uniwersaliów, czyli konkretnych powszechników. Zestawiam je z monizmem Jonathana Schaffera, aby następnie zbudować trzecią wersję „argumentu z passiflory” opartą na ufundowaniu.

Malaysia is a multi ethnic country that has a diverse cultures. The policy during the colonial era caused a conflict between ethnic groups in Malaysia.To foster a racial integration in Malaysia, the government has been striving to create a nation state.One of the most important methods in creating a nation state is through the use of one language which is ‘Bahasa Melayu’.Various efforts have been made by the Government in order to upholding the Malay language. Among them have established laws and special Act on Malay language, writing in various fields in the Malay language and the establishment of Wawasan school.The findings found some challenges in achieving the nation state are lack of fluency in Malay language among the multi-racial society, political aspects, education and the usage of the ‘rojak’ Malay language. Various efforts from the Government in empowering the Malay language need to be pursued so that the Malay language can be one of the main tools in moulding the identity of the Malaysian society. Keywords: Malay language, nation state, challenges, Malaysia Abstrak: Negara Malaysia adalah sebuah negara yang mempunyai pelbagai etnik dan suku kaum. Dasar penjajah ketika era kolonial telah menyebabkan berlaku konflik antara kaum di Malaysia. Bagi memupuk integrasi antara kaum di Malaysia, kerajaan telah berusaha mewujudkan sebuah negara bangsa. Salah satu kaedah yang penting dalam mewujudkan negara bangsa adalah menerusi penggunaan satu bahasa yang sama iaitu bahasa Melayu. Pelbagai usaha telah dilakukan kerajaan dalam usaha untuk memertabatkan bahasa Melayu. Antaranya dengan mewujudkan undang-undang dan akta khas mengenai bahasa Melayu, penghasilan penulisan dalam pelbagai bidang dalam bahasa Melayu dan penubuhan Sekolah Wawasan. Dapatan kajian artikel ini mendapati beberapa cabaran yang mengekang usaha untuk mencapai negara bangsa melalui bahasa Melayu antaranya kurang penguasaan bahasa Melayu dikalangan masyarakat pelbagai kaum, aspek politik, pendidikan dan penggunaan bahasa Melayu yang salah. Pelbagai usaha daripada pihak kerajaan dalam memperkasakan bahasa Melayu perlu diteruskan supaya bahasa Melayu boleh menjadi salah satu alat utama dalam membentuk identiti masyarakat Malaysia.

Amb una presència destacada de militants a la Universitat de Barcelona, Bandera Roja va desplegar alhora una acció política de masses amb accent propi tant a barris com a fàbriques. Abstract:
Political economy played a central role in the construction of the new Republic of Colombia through the influence of Ezequiel Rojas. In his pursuit of theoretical and practical guidance to organize a new society of free individuals pledged to happiness, Rojas looked to political economy for inspiration. However, the sources that Rojas drew on did not belong to the tradition of classical political economy; he based his own approach on other, less traditional sources; namely utilitarianism and ideology. In this text I aim to reconstruct this approach, showing its tensions and contradictions and the way in which Rojas tried to address them through religion.
La economía política jugó un papel importante en la construcción de la nueva República de Colombia en cabeza de Ezequiel Rojas. En busca de elementos teóricos y prácticos para organizar una nueva sociedad de individuos libres y destinados a la felicidad, Rojas buscó en la economía política inspiración. Sin embargo, no era la economía política clásica la que Rojas difundía en sus enseñanzas. Rojas construyó su propia propuesta a partir de tradiciones e influencias menos usuales: el utilitarismo y la ideología. En este texto pretendo reconstruir esa propuesta, mostrando sus tensiones y contradicciones y la manera como Rojas intentó conciliarse recurriendo a la religión.

La distribución diferencial de las especies macroalgales que habitan la zona intermareal está influenciada por diversos factores entre los que destaca la desecación. Este factor, que se encuentra asociado a oscilaciones de los niveles de la marea y a condiciones climáticas, puede generar alteraciones fisiológicas, estrés oxidativo e incluso la muerte celular en organismos intermareales sensibles a estrés mediante vías dependientes de especies reactivas de oxígeno (EROs). La macroalga Pyropia columbina habita exitosamente la zona alta del intermareal chileno, por lo cual es considerada un modelo tolerante a desecación. Bajo esta condición de estrés, se ha observado la activación de enzimas antioxidantes y cambios a nivel proteómico y metabolómico. Sin embargo, poco se conoce sobre la tolerancia a desecación a nivel molecular. Con el fin de comprender la modulación génica de esta especie bajo desecación, se analizó mediante qRT-PCR y actividad enzimática la cinética de expresión de genes de tolerancia presentes en P. columbina, bajo el ciclo de desecación y re-hidratación natural. Además, las respuestas de los productos génicos codificados por estos factores de tolerancia se compararon mediante análisis enzimático en las especies sensibles que habitan la zona media y baja del intermareal (i.e. Mazzaella laminarioides, Scytosiphon lomentaria y Lessonia spicata). Los resultados indican que diariamente durante desecación, el nivel relativo de transcritos de genes asociados al metabolismo basal en P. columbina disminuye significativamente. Sin embargo, durante rehidratación el nivel de sus mRNA aumenta alrededor de 4 veces. Contrariamente, genes asociados al metabolismo antioxidante aumentan sus transcritos 15-20 veces durante desecación, retornando a niveles basales hacia el final del período de re-hidratación. Comparativamente, todas las enzimas antioxidantes tuvieron una mayor actividad en P. columbina durante desecación. Las especies que habitan la zona más baja del intermareal (S. lomentaria y L. spicata) mostraron los menores niveles de actividad e incluso inhibición enzimática. Los resultados demuestran que durante el proceso de desecación, existe una expresión génica diferencial de los factores de tolerancia en P. columbina y que las especies sensibles presentan una respuesta ineficiente a ésta condición de estrés. Estos resultados aportan significativamente al conocimiento de las bases funcionales y moleculares que sustentan los patrones ecológicos de distribución diferencial en la zona intermareal rocosa
The differential distribution of macroalgae species on the intertidal rocky zone is influenced by several factors such as desiccation. This stress factor, associated with daily tidal changes and climate conditions, can generate oxidative stress, physiological alterations and cellular death on sensible intertidal organisms by means of oxygen reactive species (ROS). The seaweed Pyropia columbina is considered a model of desiccation tolerance because of its ability to inhabit the upper zone of the intertidal rocky zone. Under this stress condition, activation of antioxidant enzymes and proteomic and metabolic alterations has been observed. However, the behavior at genetic level remains unknown. In order to understand the genetic modulation of this species under desiccation, the kinetics of gene expression of several tolerance factors in P. columbina was analyzed by qRT-PCR and enzymatic assays under the natural desiccationrehydration cycle. In addition, the responses of these gene products were compared by enzymatic analysis in the sensitive species that inhabit the middle and lower part of the intertidal zone (i.e. Mazzaella laminarioides, Scytosiphon lomentaria and Lessonia spicata). The results indicate that during desiccation the relative mRNA levels of genes associated with basal metabolism in P. columbina was down-regulated. However, during rehydration their levels were increased fourfold. On the other hand, transcript levels of genes associated with the antioxidant metabolism increased about 15-20 times during the stress period, returning to basal levels during the final hours of rehydration. All antioxidant enzymes studied showed higher specific activity on P. columbina under desiccation. Species that inhabit the lower parts of the intertidal zone (S. lomentaria and L. spicata) exhibited lower levels and even enzymatic inactivation. These results show that under desiccation Pyropia columbina presents a differential gene expression of tolerance factors and that sensitive species have an inefficient response to this stress condition. The results obtained in this work, significantly contribute to the understanding of the differential distribution patterns of seaweeds on the intertidal rocky zone at a molecular and functional level

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo general analizar y exponer la situación de las personas LGBTI en Perú, en base al caso Azul Rojas Marín y otra vs. Perú, por lo cual, se profundizará en los datos, doctrina y jurisprudencia, así como los argumentos y el razonamiento que la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos empleó para resolver el caso. Las principales conclusiones del trabajo son que, este caso es sumamente importante ya que es la primera vez que la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos se pronuncia sobre la tortura y violencia por parte de agentes estatales hacia una persona LGBTI. La Corte declara al Estado peruano como responsable de la violación del derecho a la igualdad y no discriminación, derecho a la libertad personal, derecho a la integridad personal y derecho a las garantías judiciales en perjuicio de Azul Rojas Marín, así como la violación del derecho a la integridad personal en perjuicio de la madre de Azul Rojas. Asimismo, la Corte declara el incumplimiento de diversas obligaciones y ordena diversas reparaciones, siendo una de las principales el desarrollo de un estándar de debida diligencia especial para la investigación y administración de justicia en casos de violencia contra personas LGBTI; no obstante, la Corte no tiene en cuenta el enfoque interseccional y no profundiza acerca del contexto peruano de violencia contra el colectivo mencionado, siendo esto importante para justificar el estándar de debida diligencia especial que se propone en la sentencia.
The main objective in this study is to analyze and expose the situation of LGBTI people in Perú, based on the case Azul Rojas Marín et al. V. Perú, for which it will deepen in data, doctrine, and jurisprudence, as the arguments and the reasoning that the Inter-American Court of Human Rights use to resolve the case. The final conclusions of the work are that this case is extremely relevant because is the first time that the Inter-American Court of Human Rights has ruled on torture and violence by state agents against LGBTI people. The Court declares the Peruvian State responsible for the violation of the right to equality and non-discrimination, personal liberty, personal integrity, and judicial guarantees to detriment of Azul Rojas Marín, as well as the violation of the right to personal integrity to detriment of Azul Roja’s mother. In addition, the Court declares that the Peruvian State failed to comply with international obligations and decrets several means of legal redress, one of the main ones being the development of a special due diligence standard for the investigation and justice administration in cases of violence against LGBTI people. However, the Court does not consider the intersectional approach and does not deepen into the Peruvian context of violence against the LGBTI people, this being important to justify the special due diligence standard proposed in the judgment.

This paper focuses on the figure of the graduate Francisco de Rojas, a minor playwright from the first half of the seventeenth century who is better known for copying several theatrical manuscripts and, above all, for the presence of his handwriting in dozens of other manuscripts. The objectives of this paper are to contextualize his activity as a copyist, to systematize the nature of his interventions in the dialogues of the plays, and to point out the—often silent—influence that Rojas’ amendments have had in several editions of early modern Spanish plays for over a century.

En Colombia las arcillas rojas son un recurso abundante cuya explotación minera está principalmente orientada a abastecer de materia prima a las empresas fabricantes de productos de construcción. Explorar nuevos escenarios de aplicación de estos materiales requiere identificar las tendencias tecnológicas más importantes de fabricación digital como es el caso de la manufactura aditiva (MA) que constituye un conjunto de técnicas alternativas o complementarias a métodos de producción convencionales. Tal es el caso de la manufactura aditiva por extrusión (MAE) donde los objetos se construyen mediante el paso a través de una boquilla de una pasta pseudoplástica y la deposición sucesiva de capas. Gracias a las propiedades de flujo que se pueden desarrollar en las pastas basadas en arcilla, resultan muy apropiadas para la aplicación de esta técnica. Debido a esto es posible identificar numerosos proyectos exploratorios que hacen uso de estos materiales para la construcción de estructuras impresas. A través de esta investigación se busca identificar las relaciones entre la composición de las arcillas, granulometría, fracción de sólidos de las pastas de arcilla roja y sus propiedades reológicas durante la fabricación aditiva basada en extrusión (EAM).

Durante la pandemia Cruz Roja puso en marcha en Servicio Cruz Roja Te Escucha para atender a personas que precisaban atención psicológica o escucha durante la pandemia. Durante la puesta en marcha se detectó que una parte de las llamadas eran realizadas por personas con problemas de adicciones, por lo que se elaboró un protocolo específico para esta atención 3. Resultados y conclusiones. Existe un doble nivel de atención. En un primer momento la llamada es atendida por voluntariado de salud mental, y si se precisa se deriva al segundo nivel, donde se es atendido por profesionales de la salud mental. Se elaboró un protocolo de recomendaciones teniendo en cuenta la experiencia en la atención, que será presentado en esta comunicación

INTRODUCCION: En el mundo hay 1.5 millones de nuevas infecciones/año por VHC El cribado en pacientes con prácticas de riesgo, puede prevenir la transmisión de la infección por VHC, dado que en el 80% de los pacientes es asintomática (OMS) En enero de 2022 los centros de adicciones de Cruz Roja han sido certificados como centros comprometidos con la eliminación de la hepatitis C. OBJETIVOS: Analizar el perfil de los usuarios atendidos en los Centros de Adicciones de Cruz Roja, en relación al VHC MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS Estudio descriptivo transversal. Se compararon 239 pacientes dados de alta como nuevos/as en 2021 frente a 906 pacientes atendidos/as a lo largo del 2021.. CONCLUSIONES Del total de pacientes atendidos en 2021, el 77.5% eran hombres y 22.5% de mujeres. Las personas que presentaban VHC (+) eran el 30.5%, frente al 56% de (-) y un 13.5% de pacientes con serología desconocida. La sustancia problema más utilizada son los opiáceos (42.1%), el alcohol (33.6 %) y la cocaína (12.6%). EL 71.9% eran autóctonos y el 28.1% extranjeros Del total de nuevos tratamientos el 2021, el porcentaje de VHC (+) desciende a un 13%. Esta disminución está directamente relacionada con que la droga más utilizada fue el alcohol (42.7%). El porcentaje de pacientes nuevos cribados en 2021 para la detección de su estado serológico fue del 85,4 %, detectándose 31 casos nuevos positivos en VHC lo que demuestra la eficacia del establecimiento de un protocolo de detección mediante tests de cribado inicial. En comparación con la prevalencia de 3% en población general, los nuevos consumidores de sustancias siguen presentando una mayor prevalencia de VHC. Del total de personas atendidas VHC (+), hasta un 56% se encontraban adscritas a programas de tratamiento de opiáceos.

El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar los elementos fundamentales del currículo del técnico agropecuario generalista del Instituto Nacional de Agricultura (INA) formulado desde una metodología de aportes técnicos complementados con participación social. La formación de técnicos agropecuarios en Panamá es pertinente y relevante por cuanto en la actualidad, se requiere de apoyo experto y de escenarios didácticos modernos que permitan el desarrollo de capacidades y cambio paradigmáticos, que solo puede levantarse sobre una clara plataforma curricular y con egresados, cuyas capacidades reviertan los mitos existentes. El trabajo investigativo, producto de una construcción colectiva utilizó como referentes la teoría y metodología curricular de Diaz Barriga Díaz, Lule, Pacheco, Saad, y Rojas-Drummond (2008) y de Vargas (2008). Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo y descriptivo, con un modelo basado en proyectos formativos y con enfoque en competencias. Se realizaron entrevistas, talleres focales, con fundamento en una revisión documental de materiales relacionados con el objeto de estudio. Se concluyó con una síntesis del perfil ocupacional del técnico agropecuario generalista lo cual fue determinante para generar los elementos del modelo curricular de este profesional.

El equipo de innovación y mejora educativa CTALENT viene trabajando desde 2015 en la educación para el desarrollo sostenible desde las aulas universitarias bajo el prisma de la Agenda 2030 de Naciones Unidas y, en colaboración con otras organizaciones para fomentar el desarrollo de competencias en los y las estudiantes de la Univesrsitat Politècnica de València. A menudo, se trabaja con la metodología Aprendizaje-Servicio, de forma concisa podría decirse que los y las estudiantes aportan mejoras a la sociedad, contribuyen al bien común, mientras aprenden competencias específicas y transversales de sus asignaturas junto a su profesorado. Esta metodología favorece el aprendizaje de competencias para la dirección y gestión pública y permite al alumnado tomar conciencia de los efectos que tendrán sus decisiones en la ciudadanía desde puestos de dirección, gestión y administración pública. Las últimas experiencias desarrolladas en el grado de Gestión y Administración Pública son “La ludopatía en cifras” y “La Agenda 2030 desde la transparencia y los datos abiertos” en las asignaturas de Introducción a la estadística y Estadística aplicada a la administración pública y “Niñas y niños auditores ISO 9001 en Cruz Roja” en la asignatura de Gestión de calidad.

Abstract:
Households that hire domestic workers are a space of compulsive encounters where people of different origins and social class meet, experiencing physical proximity that makes the social distance that prevails between them even more noticeable. Drawing on current research and scholarship on paid domestic work in Latin America, this paper explores the different ways of analysing the encounters of women from highly unequal social positions in the narrowness of the private household, arguing that the combination of physical proximity and affective ties fosters the (re)production of social inequalities and asymmetries of power. But while it is within the convivial relations of these households that inequality becomes evident, it is also there where it can be negotiated, fought, or mitigated. Households that hire domestic workers are thus a privileged site for observing negotiations and disputes concerning social inequalities, and hence, a critical context to study the reciprocal constitution of conviviality and inequality.

Este trabajo analiza la resignificación del legado cultural indígena en la obra de varios intelectuales argentinos vinculados al espiritualismo (Joaquín V. González, Ricardo Rojas y Ernesto Quesada) entre fines del siglo XIX y los años treinta. En contraste con perspectivas hegemónicas que devalúan la alteridad indígena — como en el caso de Estanislao Zeballos y Bartolomé Mitre —, estos autores destacan la importancia de los vínculos socio-culturales entre las elites tradicionales y los indígenas. Forjados especialmente en el noroeste argentino (NOA) desde la Conquista, estos lazos se basarían en el supuesto vínculo de los grupos indígenas con las “grandes” civilizaciones precolombinas, y en su participación en las guerras de emancipación. Al imaginar instancias de convivialidad entre actores sociales antagónicos, estos discursos tienden a ocultar asimetrías implícitas a lo largo de la historia nacional, y a negar a los indígenas como sujetos sociales activos en el presente.
