Abstract:
Passenger road transport plays an important role in the functioning of the state. This thesis can be substantiated by the fact that passenger road transport performs an important social task — the transportation of passengers. Passenger road transport is fully integrated into the transport system of the country and its subjects. The article considers three main types of activities in which passenger road transport is involved. The authors refer the commercial transportation of passengers to the first type, the transportation of passengers for the own needs of the carrier company to the second, and the use of passenger road transport as a means of individual mobility to the third. If we consider these groups from the point of view of the openness of information on them in various databases, then the first type of activity is the most informative, and the second and third are the least informative. Currently, there is no tool for qualitative and quantitative assessment of the impact of passenger road transport on gross regional products (GRP) and their components. This leads to inadequate reactions in the control system, for example in the field of passenger transportation. Increasing the validity of the development of passenger road transport systems by improving the accuracy of assessing its impact on the socio-economic development of regions is an urgent scientific and practical task. The working hypothesis is that passenger road transport is one of the key factors influencing the development of the subjects of the Russian Federation. Finding the relationship between the qualitative and quantitative assessment of the impact of passenger road transport on GRP and their components will create an understandable and informative tool for assessing the socio-economic condition of the subject in particular, and the country as a whole. The work uses methods of system analysis, mathematical statistics, in particular, correlation and regression analysis. When analyzing the data and processing the results, the authors used the discovery of information databases. The aim of the work is to create theoretical prerequisites for an analytical platform for managing the structure of the passenger vehicle fleet in the regions. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the revealed relationship between the number of passenger vehicles and the gross regional products of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (correlation coefficients from 0.57 to 0.79), as well as parts of gross regional products by industry (correlation coefficients from 0.07 to 0.9). For the first time, an indicator of the number of conditional passenger motor transport units in the region is proposed, which gives an integral assessment of the methods of passenger motor transport correspondence, taking into account the categories and classes of vehicles. The practical significance of the study lies in the creation of a modern tool for managing passenger transportation in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation by improving the process of operating passenger road transport and managing the number, categories and classes of passenger vehicles. Directions for further research are to apply the above methodology to the integrated management of transport systems of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Abstract:
The presence of online transportation is considered to really help the community in the process of mobilizing goods or people. Online transportation is currently very popular among the public, because online transportation is considered cheap and practical. Transportation is a system consisting of facilities and infrastructure, supported by management and human resources which form a service network that functions as a driver, driver and supporter of development. Protection by providing compensation for losses is an important basic basis in insurance, requiring the company to have a legitimate financial interest in the object or event being insured. In the context of online transportation, it is important for companies like Gojek to apply this principle in passenger accident life insurance. This research is a legal research using a normative juridical approach. The specifications of this research are analytical descriptive, because this research can provide a comprehensive, systematic picture and analysis of the realities in the field, especially regarding liability and insurance protection contained in legislation. Data collection is carried out by making observations and using applicable legislation. In carrying out transportation activities other than carrying out passenger trips, the transportation service provider is obliged to insure its liability, meaning that the public transportation company is obliged to compensate for losses suffered by passengers or goods senders due to negligence in carrying out transportation services. Based on article 237 paragraph (1) of the Road Traffic and Transportation Law, it is stated that public transportation companies are obliged to participate in an accident insurance program as a manifestation of their responsibility for insurance coverage for victims and public transportation companies are obliged to insure people employed as vehicle crew. The form of insurance protection provided by Gojek to passengers who use its services is the application of Article 302 of the Criminal Code. The online transportation service provider company Gojek provides insurance to passengers to ensure that travel is protected because passenger safety is Gojek's priority. The form of insurance protection for passengers in Gojek online transportation is stated in the GoRide Pasangger Insurance provisions.

Abstract:
The role of the presence of the state is important so that the implementation of social security from the government to the community is managed from compulsory contributions and community contributions. Management and control of the funds are submitted to the State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) PT. Jasa Raharja. This research method is normative juridical (normative law research) using normative legal studies in the form of legal behavior products. Research findings: (1) The Political Law of Social Security for Passenger Accidents and Road Traffic Accidents provides an overview of the Insurance business that has been managed so far PT. Jasa Raharja is a social insurance program that can be organized by BUMN, so PT. Jasa Raharja as a state-owned company is the only provider of social security insurance for passenger accidents and road traffic accidents. (2) Barriers to adjusting the implementation of the Social Security Program based on Act No. 40 of 2014 concerning Insurance in terms of regulation between Act No. 33 and 34 of 1964 with Act No. 40 of 2014 concerning Insurance, the institutional provisions of article 89 of the Insurance Law are implemented, so there is a fundamental change in the administration of the mandatory insurance coverage for passenger accidents and road traffic accidents.

Abstract:
The presence of online transportation can be recognized if it fulfills the requirements of the Ministerial Regulation of Transportation Act Number 108 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of Transportation of People with Public Motorized Vehicles Not on Routes. The problem that arises is when this online transportation does not have a transportation operation permit, which then the passengers do not get legal protection for it. The method used is normative juridical where the data used are primary data and secondary data and the data collection used is library research. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. From the discussion it can be concluded that 1.Insurance compensation for passengers who have an accident through PT Jasa Raharja is given to an online application-based transportation company that already has a transportation operation permit based on the provisions of the Ministerial Regulation of Transportation Act Number 108 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of Public Transportation with Public Motorized Vehicles Not On Routes which is carried out based on Act Number 33 of 1964 concerning the Passenger Accident Compulsory Insurance Fund, for online application-based transportation companies that do not have a transportation operation permit, in the event of an accident the passenger does not receive insurance compensation from PT Jasa Raharja. The responsibility of online transportation service providers has complied with Article 188 of Act Number 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic to compensate for the loss of passengers or shippers due to omission in carrying out transportation and road transportation services.

Abstract:
The government is always looking at the latest technology that can ensure safety of road users, as outlined in the construction industry transformation plan. A small Korean manufacturing company invented a new concept longitudinal barrier, (The Rolling Barrier) which had continuous pipes covered with urethane rings. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the “Rolling Barrier” and to understand the Rolling Barrier’s characteristics of crash cushioning, how to correct the vehicles running direction and the required strength of barriers. They convert that impact energy into rotational energy to propel the vehicle forward rather than potentially breaking through an immovable barrier. When a car hits the barrier, the rotating barrel converts shock from the vehicle to rotational energy. Upper and lower frames adjust tires of large and small vehicles to prevent the steering system from a functional loss. The Rolling Barrier can be effectively used in curved roads sections, ramps, medians and entrance or exit ramps in parking garages. In this paper, the description and studies of Rolling Barriers are elaborated. In 2015, there were 63,805 traffic accidents over on the Maharashtra, India, with 54.2 % composed of vehicles that crashed into longitudinal barriers. Such accidents can be drastically reduced if more safe barriers are installed for traffic safety. A small Korean manufacturing company invented a new concept longitudinal barrier, the Rolling Barrier (RB), which has continuous pipes covered with urethane rings. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the RB & to understand the RB’s characteristics of crash cushioning, how to correct the vehicle’s running direction & the required strength of barriers. Experiments with barriers performance & crashing vehicle behavior at curved sections using a 1.3-ton passenger car & a 3.5-ton truck showed satisfactory vehicle behavior as they ran parallel with the RB after crashing. The structural problem of the RB wasn’t found during the time of the crash. In the strength performance test using the 8-ton truck & in the passenger protection test using the 1.3-ton passenger car, the RB satisfied the Ministry of Construction & Transportation’s “ Guidelines for Installation & Management of Road Safety Facilities.” The differences between the RB & conventional barriers where crash cushioning & required strength of barriers were involved were verified by mathematical equations. The RB can be effectively used in curved road sections, ramps, medians & entrance/exit ramps in parking garages. Abstract:
Abstract The article aims to identify the shortcomings of the statistics describing the size and structure of passenger car parc in Poland, and to formulate the consequences of these limitations for geographical research. Analysed in detail, the shortcomings are divided into three groups: (1) ‘dead souls’, i.e. an overestimation of the number of vehicles which have not been on the road for a long time but remain on the register; (2) ‘cars with a grid’ (cars registered as trucks in which the cargo part is separated from passenger seats by a metal grid), i.e. an underestimation of the number of passenger cars and overestimation of the number of trucks related to the mass phenomenon of registering passenger cars as large goods vehicles (LGV-approved cars); and (3) company cars, i.e. an overestimation of the number of vehicles in cities where leasing companies and large enterprises owning those cars have their headquarters. The article determines the scale of car ownership overestimation in Poland and the areas where this overestimation is the highest, using districts (PL: powiaty) as basic spatial units. We conclude that the present motorisation statistics do not fully reflect the real geography of car ownership in Poland.

The presented work is done for a company that currently operates twenty lines of passenger transport in the metropolitan area of Seville. The planning of these was originally carried out manually, building routes and shifts in an Excel spreadsheet. In order to automate the process as much as possible. It was designed and implemented by a scheduling algorithm that would be much simple than other algorithms in the literature and that, in addition, would make it possible to allow mixing vehicles and drivers between the lines. The objective was, firstly, to employ the minimum number of drivers; then, it is trying to use the least possible number of vehicles; finally, the study tries to reduce as much as possible the amount of split shifts. In addition, restrictions on the design of routes and shifts were added. At all times the service frequencies remained above the set limit. To allow the possibility of unexpected demand peaks, was established in the capacity of each route some slack.

Abstract:
Railway passenger transportation has always had a significant place in the economic, material and technical development of Ukraine. The current conditions are no exception, when in connection with the beginning of a full-scale military invasion of our country, passenger transport assumed responsibility for the timely evacuation of people and their safe relocation to other regions of the country or abroad. Due to the fact that railway transport is of strategic importance for Ukraine, its infrastructure has increased risks of destruction. Each destruction of the railway infrastructure has serious consequences for the organization of the movement of passenger trains, in particular high-speed trains. Therefore, with the aim of reducing the possible costs of organizing the movement of high-speed passenger trains in the event of the destruction of the railway infrastructure and increasing the reliability of the functioning of the high-speed railway passenger transport system in Ukraine, an automated technology for providing an alternative route for the trains of the branch “Ukrainian Railway High-Speed Company” (UZShK) is proposed. The formation of this technology is considered on the example of the most popular passenger direction, namely - Kyiv-Lviv, the topology of which is represented by a weighted graph, where the vertices are railway stations, and the edges are railway sections with a weight in the form of a tuple (time to overcome each section, presence of electrification, bandwidth). The proposed technology also provides for the possibility of attracting additional “shuttle” trains or road transport, in cases where it is necessary to significantly reduce the travel time by an alternative route or the possibility of the arrival of railway transport to the station where it is necessary to board/disembark passengers is excluded. The formalization of this process was carried out by forming an optimization mathematical model according to the criterion of minimum operating costs. The formation of a set of alternative routes was carried out using the adjacency matrix of the graph representing the Kyiv-Lviv transportation direction. The developed technology is proposed to be integrated in the form of a software product for automated workplaces (AWP) of operative personnel in the form of a decision support system (DSP), the algorithm of which is also given in this publication.

Abstract:
The sustainable development of urban mobility cannot be envisaged without a transport system which could be able to meet the needs of citizens and businesses, make a positive impact on the environment and be socially fair and economically efficient. An efficient transport system increases safety, improves network efficiency and stimulates intermodality which reduces transport impact on environment and makes cities more attractive. In order to survive and successfully operate in the market, it is necessary for public transport companies to look for and implement new management models in their system. Every organization is surrounded by the environment and it is very important to examine external factors if an organization wants to gain a strong position in the market which is also important for public transport companies. The involvement of stakeholders in the supply of public transport services i.e. what level of relationships are needed between a transportation company and its various stakeholders is necessary in order to meet the main stakeholder ‐ passenger needs. Consequently, as to supply the passenger with the best service, relationships between different stakeholders (municipality, public transport company, state road maintenance service etc.) are of vital importance. It is essential to emphasise that state institutions and municipalities play a crucial role in managing public transport companies. State institutions influence them through legal instruments and regulations and municipalities, as the main shareholders, through the impact on management board and through subsidizing the company from municipality budget. Therefore, it is very important to have in mind this particularity in managing public transport companies and in the relationships with their stakeholders.

Abstract:
Health emergencies occur in passenger cars where victims do not have immediate access to either layperson or professional, proper medical services, resulting in deterioration of their health or death. Installation of robotic first aid system for passenger-car occupants has been proposed. This study is part of a larger work of designing the system and seeks to identify the safest location inside the vehicle for it to survive any form of impact in a crash and retain the ability to assist the victims. The study population comprised 70 passenger cars (14 automakers across 7 segments) involved in road traffic accidents, which had been recovered by a roadside vehicle assistance company based in Harare, Zimbabwe, and were on the company’s premises on September 23rd, 2017. Vehicle damage was rated considering direction of force in comparison to a clock-point diagram, area damaged, and the damage severity on a scale of 1 to 7, following an official vehicle damage guide for traffic crash investigators. Data were analysed in Microsoft Office Excel 2016. In cases where vehicles were damaged in more than one area, all areas were recorded, hence 95 points of impact were analysed. Damage direct to the front denoted by 12 on the clock-point was the most common at 26%. This was compatible with the rate of frontal damage on vehicles, which was the highest at 51%, followed by the right and left sides that had 22% and 19%, respectively, the rear at 6%, and lastly the top (due to 2 recorded rollovers) at 2%. 56% of the damaged areas had a severity rating of either 5, 6, or 7. By eliminating all areas which had received damage in the study population, the robotic first aid system’s best chances of car crash survival are at the middle, towards the floor of the vehicle. It is advisable that the system does not depend on components in the proximity of the vehicle’s body as they are prone to damage in crashes. There is need for further research into the magnitude of impact that could reach the middle of different vehicles to define the strength of the robotic first aid system.

Abstract:
Regional cooperation in rail transport can help participating countries diversify their trade patterns. Improved rail transport can also help attract foreign direct investment, increase participation in global production networks and the scale of related trade in manufactured goods, and diversify exports. Improved rail infrastructure will increase global competitiveness and spur economic development. In addition, improved rail infrastructure will help regional cooperation and integration through improved connectivity between people, goods and services. The operation is carried out by a railway company, providing transport between train stations or freight customer facilities. Power is provided by locomotives which either draw electric power from a railway electrification system or produce their own power, usually by diesel engines or, historically, steam engines. Most tracks are accompanied by a signalling system. Railways are a safe land transport system when compared to other forms of transport. Railway transport is capable of high levels of passenger and cargo utilisation and energy efficiency but is often less flexible and more capital-intensive than road transport, when lower traffic levels are considered. Railways are a climate-smart and efficient way to move people and freight. Abstract:
The article deals with the influence of professional drivers’ fatigue on the occurrence of traffic events. The study of various scientific works on the causes of traffic events related to human psychophysiological qualities has revealed that all of these works highlight the complex work process of a driver as an operator of a certain mechanism. It is governed by the regulatory documents reviewed in this article. Driver's fatigue is a quite frequent accident-causing human factor. Building upon the results of the study on human idiosyncrasies, the authors suggest a methodology for professional selection of drivers. This methodology is based on practical data, i.e. on a comprehensive analysis of performance peculiarities of professional drivers employed at Joint-Stock Company ‘Vilnius Public Transport’ (in Lithuanian – UAB ‘Vilniaus viešasis transportas’). Application of the suggested methodology enables to reduce the number of road accidents caused by city passenger transport drivers by up to 40÷50%. The article proposes a methodology for compilation of professional selection criteria for passenger transport drivers, also applicable to drivers working in other transportation areas, as well as to employees of field investigation services and other persons who constantly face nervous and emotional stress and experience a lack of information and time.

Abstract:
The problem of congestion is one of the key issues faced by cities. There are many ways to improve the functioning of the city’s road infrastructure, enabling reduction of the congestion level. The proper level of transport infrastructure development is indispensable for the proper functioning of transport, which determines the effective transport service of residents, and thus improves the broadly understood quality of life. The article focuses on the effects possible to achieve thanks to the implementa-tion of investments in road infrastructure with particular emphasis on city bypasses. The example of Starogard Gdański presents the problem of eliminating transit traffic from city centers through the construction of a bypass. The article discusses the results of the experiment carried out to estimate the benefits of the construction of the Starogard Gdański bypass. As part of the experiment, the travel time and fuel consumption were measured during the passage of a passenger car on the route from the planned initial node to the final node of the future bypass. The obtained results were referred to the study of traffic density within DK 22 carried out by GDDKiA Branch in Gdańsk and traffic intensity studies on the intake roads to the city carried out by the Transprojekt Gdańsk design company, which allowed to calculate the level of fuel savings, time and reduction of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere, thanks to transfer of transit traffic outside the city limits.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to reassess the marketing strategy of Britain’s Big Four railway companies during the interwar period to locate railway marketing in the broader context of railway business and the general development of service marketing in Britain. Design/methodology/approach By a detailed analysis of internal company records, this paper discusses three aspects of railway marketing: the development of marketing departments within the companies, the control of marketing expenditure and the industry-wide marketing alliance. The three areas of railway marketing are examined by way of comparing them with the corresponding situations in other British industries. Findings It reveals the relatively advanced state of railway companies’ marketing in the contemporary context. Furthermore, a series of re-organisations are interpreted as a response to the inter-modal competition from road traffic. Originality/value By characterising railway marketing in the interwar period as part of the industry’s rear-guard battle in the competitive travel market, in which railways were clearly losing out to road traffic, the paper provides a perspective that enables to understand how the “golden age” of railway marketing coincided with the railways’ decline in the passenger business.

Abstract:
Introduction. This study analyses the economic and management trends of the company Ferrovie Elettriche Abruzzesi SA (FEA), the owner of the concession granted to build and use the Tavo railway from Penne to Pescara, and the tramway service in the city of Pescara from 1925 to 1956. Aim of the work. This study highlights how the management of concessionary companies of secondary railway lines is interconnected with the more general Italian problems of passenger and freight railway traffic management. Methodological approach. An analysis of the company's financial statements, the content of the reports by the technical bodies and the Internal Works Com- mittee, and the company's correspondence with stakeholders facilitated the reconstruction of all the internal and external causes of the crisis. Main findings. The common denominator of the crisis was the associated and growing competition from road traffic and bus services, which led to increas- ingly poor operating results for FEA. The Penne-Pescara line had a low volume of traffic, which was part of the more general ‘rail problem' that characterised Italy. Originality. Delving into the interface of accounting and the history of local pub- lic transport, this study provides a case study of ‘bad practice', which is rarely available in the scientific literature on corporate crises.

Abstract:
The expediency of the organization of the combined mode of traffic on city bus routes with taken into account the introduction allocating a priority lane in order to increase transport demand, due to involving interests of transport companies and the requests of passengers in terms of quality, reliability and safety are considered. As the level of motorization increases, a significant number of road accidents (accidents) are recorded by the Road Traffic Safety Administration in Ukraine, with not only an increase in their number but also their severity. Most road traffic accidents occur with the participation of city buses. In order to reduce the risk of vehicle collision and improve traffic safety, it is proposed to organize the movement of urban transport vehicles on a dedicated lane. To assess the possibility of implementing high-speed traffic or BRT-like systems by allocating a lane for urban transport routes, Kharkiv city route system was considered with various factors in mind. From the considered urban routes for further consideration regarding the implementation of the dedicated (specialized) lane for routes of the urban transport, the route network of the Slobidsky district of Kharkiv city was selected. Obtained indicators of the route № 226e of Kharkiv during full-time observations in the peak period and the use of the objective function of the feasibility of introducing a combined mode of traffic on city routes indicate that when organizing a combined mode of traffic on the route № 226e, a rational ratio of the number of vehicles is 4 buses operating normally and 2 in express mode. In this ratio, the total cost is minimal, which satisfies both the interests of the transport company and the interests of passengers. The assessment of the feasibility of organizing a combined mode of traffic on urban routes, taking into account the implementation of a dedicated lane indicates that such a process contributes to the reduction of harmful emis-sions into the air and increases the demand for urban passenger transport services by improving the quality of service. The results show that the implementation of a dedicated (specialized) lane for urban transport routes has the effect of reducing the likelihood of an accident, increasing the level of traffic safety along the route. Keywords: traffic safety, urban public transport, priority traffic lane, city transit service.

Abstract:
The railway industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan is currently an emerging market for transport services that integrates into the global economy, primarily in the Asian space. This is explained by the fact that the Republic of Uzbekistan occupies a strategic geographical position in Central Asia and is the center of the region’s geopolitical development, the main transit corridors connecting the North and South, East and West of the continent pass through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan [1]. When organizing both freight and passenger rail traffic, the issues of ensuring their safety should be considered taking into account the parameters of economic sustainability, which is still not given due attention. Based on the analysis of the indicators and the assessment of traffic safety in JSC “Uzbekistan Temir Yollari”, the authors identified such planning steps as analyzing traffic safety indicators and identifying problems, analyzing the causes of the problems identified, forming the idea of a goal, checking the achievement of a goal, development of options for activities to achieve goals. For each stage, based on the methods of correlation, regression and factor analysis, algorithms for their implementation have been developed. A concept of measures has been developed with the aim of increasing the economic efficiency of traffic safety management depending on the method of control. The authors believe that the implementation of the proposed recommendations for decision-making on road safety is a comprehensive preventive measure to ensure a guaranteed level of economic security in the developing market of Uzbekistan.

Abstract In today’s rapidly changing business environment, it is important for a company to succeed. This applies to companies that produce goods as well as to those that provide services, and public transport is not different. Nowadays, people prefer individual transport. In the Slovak Republic, individual transport is perceived as an expression of personal prestige and freedom. On the other hand, however, it places a heavy burden on road infrastructure and has a great impact on the environment. In this paper, the authors aim to present the information obtained through a questionnaire survey focused on customer satisfaction and preferences in public mass transport in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the statistical evaluation, the interdependence of two quantitative variables (ownership of a passenger car versus the purpose of the public mass transport customer’s trip) will be observed. Based on the research results, customer requirements and preferences were summarized and can be used by management of companies as a valuable basis for managerial decision-making and communication towards customers.

Abstract:
Work-related road accidents are estimated to con-tribute to at least one quarter to over one third of all work-related deaths. Changing the vehicle has a major impact on traffic safety. Some studies have shown that drivers’ knowledge and practical driver training can improve traffic safety when changing vehicles. The aim of this paper is to determine whether there is an impact of the vehicle change on traffic safety. The research was conducted at the location with cylinders, braking coeffi-cient sensors, and brake pedal force detector, as well as with ten different passenger car brands and types. At the time of the research, all cars were registered and used daily in traffic. Prior to the research, the precision of the measuring instruments at the research site was checked. On the basis of the results, it can be concluded that there are two significant factors: the vehicle and the driver who needs to be trained before starting to drive a new ve-hicle. When changing the vehicle brand and type within the company, it is necessary to conduct systemic training of drivers which would include theoretical and practical parts and involve at least braking, driver distraction, and active and passive vehicle safety.

Abstract:
Currently one of the most urgent tasks of improving conditions for the formation of economic development is to create a developed logistic infrastructure. However, the views on the nature and composition of the logistics infrastructure are contradictory, and the composition of the organization’s logistics infrastructure is not sufficiently systematic, mainly in terms of the environment. Specifying the nature and components of the logistics infrastructure business in Ukraine, we believe, will help create a system model of the logistics of a particular company and requires further research. The purpose of the research is to clarify the essence of the category "enterprise’s logistic infrastructure", the composition of its objects and the detailing of these objects for Ukrainian organizations Research methods are: specification; monographic method; critical analysis, synthesis. We believe that the logistics infrastructure of the company is a combination of external and internal objects that form the mechanism of movement of material and associated with them flows from producer to consumer.Given this definition, the objects of the external and internal logistic infrastructure of the organization can be grouped according to their functional roles. Among the objects of external logistic infrastructure of the organization offered are: objects of institutional regulatory infrastructure (the legislature, executive and judiciary and local authorities dealing with transport and road facilities, Tax, Sanitary Inspection Service, standards bodies and metrology, etc.); objects of trade and intermediary infrastructure (trade exchanges, trading houses, broker, agency, commission, company, wholesale markets, retail stores, etc.); financial and credit facilities infrastructure (banks, insurance companies, leasing companies, currency exchanges, etc.); infrastructure facilities personnel (labor exchange, employment agencies, employment centers, etc.); objects of social infrastructure (international and domestic logistics association Chamber of Commerce, the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Central Union of Consumer Societies of Ukraine, Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine, the International Road Transport Union, etc.); objects of engineering infrastructure (producers and service center for technical devices used in logistics activities, vehicles of different types and purposes, handling equipment and handling machinery, commercial and technological equipment, office equipment, devices communications, safety and fire safety, cargo terminals, transport and public warehouses, packaging enterprises, etc.); objects of foreign infrastructure (customs services, trade representative of State, World Trade Center, etc.); objects of information infrastructure (enterprise communications, information and telecommunications networks, support services company for the development and implementation of software, etc.); facilities of infrastructure advisory (consulting firms, accounting firms, legal counseling centers, etc.); objects of innovation infrastructure (research organizations and design offices involved in the development of new types of packaging, design and handling equipment handling machinery, more efficient and economic, marketing firms that study and predict the markets of logistics products and services, logistics firms who develop optimal routes of passenger and freight transport, warehouse design rational processes of cargo, etc.). The company may have its own logistics infrastructure facilities, and can use appropriate objects of other companies and organizations. Globalization of logistics activities and implementation of Ukrainian economy capacity need to make further scientific and applied research aimed at developing complex measures to create advanced and efficient logistics infrastructure on the base of system approach at micro and macro levels.

Abstract:
Bus transport in Dublin has been and continues to be perceived as a poor alternative to the car. It is generally seen as the “poor person’s” mode of transport, with many people upgrading to a car as soon as they can afford to do so. The result has been a significant increase in traffic congestion fueled by the recent period of economic growth during which car ownership levels have risen from 238 per 1,000 in 1991 to 350 per 1,000 in 1999. One of the main difficulties facing the state-owned bus company is that buses compete with cars for inadequate road space. In 1995, the Dublin Transportation Initiative proposed a new public transport strategy incorporating light rail transit and what they described as quality bus corridors (QBCs). To date, 9 out of 11 QBCs have been implemented. The characteristics of a QBC include a dedicated lane between 0700 to 1900 in most cases, although some 24-hour bus corridors also exist. Although there is no physical separation between the bus lane and other lanes, enforcement by the police is strict and there is a relatively low level of noncompliance. The QBC concept is described in more detail and the effects since introduction in Dublin are discussed, particularly with regard to travel times, passenger numbers, and reliability of service frequency. Future plans for bus transport in Dublin are mentioned, highlighting the significant contribution buses will be expected to make in solving Dublin’s transport problems.

Abstract:
Abstract. The industry standards for the consumption of material resources currently in force in road transport are advisory in nature and are used by carriers in their current work for production planning. Industry standards, regulated, for example, by order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 158 dated May 30, 2019, establish resource consumption on an average for all road carriers of the Russian Federation. Taking into account the individual operating conditions of the rolling stock and the organization of the transport process is possible only by a correction factor to the fuel consumption rate, the calculation method of which is not regulated. The result is low convergence of planned and actual traffic figures. An effective solution to this problem is the use of resource consumption rates calculated on the basis of statistical data on the consumption of material resources obtained using the means of objective control and data storage of ERP systems. This will make it possible to fully take into account the complex of significant factors that determine the volume of consumption of material resources, reduce the amount of inventory, increase the turnover of funds, and increase the accuracy of rationing and pricing processes for any trucking company. However, the substantiation of such resource consumption norms requires an assessment of the influence of significant factors, the establishment of a relationship between them and the development of a mathematical apparatus for normalization. Therefore, the purpose of this study, which is to increase the efficiency of passenger transportation by buses based on ensuring the reliability of material resource consumption rates, taking into account individual operating conditions, is aimed at solving an urgent scientific and practical problem. Theoretical studies are carried out on the basis of the analysis of scientific and regulatory and technical literature, the legal framework, systemic, statistical, factorial and technical and economic analysis, economic and mathematical modeling of the transport process, and expert evaluation. Experimental studies were carried out in the conditions of operating passenger transport enterprises using the methods of mathematical statistics, computer modeling, field observations. The main results of scientific novelty are: a set of qualitative characteristics and quantitative indicators of factors that determine the consumption of material resources in the operation of the bus fleet; mathematical models for calculating the consumption rates of fuels and lubricants, spare parts and car tires, as well as the corresponding standard operating costs; dependence of indicators of operating consumption of diesel fuel, resource mileage of automobile tires on the magnitude of significant factors established for domestically produced buses of various capacities. Further research is supposed to be carried out in the direction of the development of resource saving methods in the motor transport complex.

Abstract:
Objective: show the prospects of using an innovative type of public urban transport - a digital tram on tires with optical guidance along a strip marked on the road or using magnetic markers along the route, as attractive to passengers, cheaper in the arrangement of lines, as well as requiring less time to build than rail tram for urban transportation, allowing to relieve city roads from traffic jams and improve their ecology. Methods: an analysis and generalization of the operating experience of new digital trams built by the Chinese company CRRC, operated in the cities of China: Zhuzhou, Yibin, Yongxiu, Yancheng and Shanghai, as well as the most advanced designs of the operating rolling stock. Results: the operation of the tire tram revealed a number of problems: after a year of operation, severe rutting appeared on a dedicated lane of the road, speeds and capacity were lower than declared. The construction of new tire tram lines required costs for strengthening the roadway, which was not originally intended by the manufacturer. The possibility of their use in winter climate conditions on roads covered with ice and snow has not been proven. Further testing is required to identify and eliminate emerging deficiencies. Practical significance: despite a number of identified shortcomings, it is advisable to use a digital tire tram for cities with a warm climate, with complex terrain and narrow streets as a medium-capacity vehicle that can improve the mobility and quality of life of citizens, as well as reduce the negative impact on the environment. It is advisable to lay it in new residential areas and industrial zones under construction, as well as to use it for mass transportation of passengers in the event of any major one-time events: major exhibitions, forums, Olympic Games, world football championships, etc.

Abstract:
The high number of accidents in Indonesia is one of the impacts of the lack of awareness of road users and road transportation providers in maintaining traffic order and road transportation security. Services that are safe, secure, orderly, smooth, and integrated with other modes of transportation can boost the national economy, advance public welfare, strengthen national unity, and be able to uphold the dignity of the nation. This study aims to analyze law enforcement by police officers in single traffic accidents that cause passengers to die and the responsibilities of drivers and the Otobus Company (PO) to victims. The method uses normative legal research with a statutory approach and the concept of law enforcement. The research shows that the maximum punishment imposed on the perpetrators of traffic crimes normatively can be explained by the relatively low maximum punishment ranging from one year to five years and until now the legal basis for capturing the perpetrators of traffic crimes still depends on the Criminal Code inherited from the Dutch Colonial Government. Law enforcement by police officers with the investigation and investigation of criminal cases in the case of a single accident experienced by the suspect on the toll road ensnares the Road Traffic and Transportation Law (LLAJ Law). Drivers and POs are responsible for victims by providing compensation to accident victims following the LLAJ Law by not removing or reducing criminal liability.

Abstract:
Road transportation bookings have traditionally been done over the counter in transportation terminals but with the exponential growth of e-commerce, this has changed. This study focuses on automating the Road Transport Booking System to allow travellers (passengers) and employees to buy and sell tickets online. The study also discusses issues that consumers and administrators face, such as long wait times to book a trip, unsafe environments and more. The project investigates several implementation problems and makes suggestions about how to successfully incorporate an Online Road Transport Booking System. This web portal would aid future development of a fully integrated system that connects transportation company employees to consumers, employees to employees, employees to other types of transportation providers, employees to companies, and employees to government agencies. The development tools used in the development of this research are PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, MYSQL database, and XAMPP server.

Abstract:
This research includes the analysis and comparison of long-term values of key business parameters of profit-oriented companies in Serbia, which are engaged in road transport of cargo or passengers. This paper takes into account the decreasing emissions of CO2 and its relation to the size of business (in terms of transported cargo or number of passengers), and thus by the company’s business success (income, profit). In the empirical part of this research—ecological, operational, and business factors were analyzed on a sample of road carriers from Serbia, i.e., the most common type of organized transport of people or physical goods. Key difference was made between large and small companies engaged in transport activities, followed by difference between those companies which have business activities only in Serbia, or engage also in international activities in the Balkan region (or in the rest of world). The main goal of this paper is to determine statistically significant differences between transport companies in terms of key performance indicators, depending on whether they operate only domestically or abroad. In relation to company size, this paper examined the sustainability of operations in the case of the largest transport companies, which represent half of the total transport activity in the country (by number of people transported or the amount of transported cargo), compared to all small carriers with less than 50 employees. Future research involves extending this sample of road transport companies to all Balkan countries, which have not yet become a part of the European Union and including additional operational as well as environmental indicators that are not conventionally measured during vehicle inspections.

Abstract:
This article describes an example of negligence of drivers transporting passengers and methods of solving it using modern inventions. One of these troubles is driving a car and moving passengers by taxi driver in a tired state. Since not every driver can correctly assess their psycho-physical condition, so to do this, scientists began to create devices for tracking human behavior when he drives vehicle. The purpose of implementing driver fatigue monitoring systems is to ensure road safety and preserve lives and property of citizens. The use of these systems is to facilitate the work of emergency services and taxi company owners, taxi drivers and their passengers. In our article we want to touch on the problem of overwork, specifically taxi drivers, since their work activity is socially significant and non-compliance with the norms of work and rest periods can lead to tragic consequences. Modern taxi drivers often rely on a strong body of car and electronic gadgets in an unexpected situation on the road. Therefore, when driving a car, despite being overworked, they allow themselves to relax beyond the limit and dont react in time if an emergency occurs. We have studied options for implementing driver fatigue monitoring systems and offer to install them on a taxi car.

Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to study the information aspects of the activities of a motor transport enterprise, to build a communication network within the enterprise, which seeks to fully satisfy the needs of society for the transportation of goods and passengers. Methodology. The study was carried out using graph theory - one of the major branches of discrete mathematics, which is widely used in solving economic and management problems. Using these methods, the minimum path in the information network is found. Results. The quality and timeliness of information coming in the forward and backward directions determines the quality of management of individual objects of the road transport system, as well as the possibility of its coordinated functioning in order to fully satisfy the needs of society for the transportation of goods and passengers. The article examines the introduction of information technologies in transport, which are used at all stages of receiving, storing, processing and transmitting information, should fully ensure the timeliness and high quality of information support when making managerial decisions at all levels of the transport system. The general principles of the construction and functioning of motor transport systems are analyzed through the prism of the information procedures implemented in them and the emerging information flows. It has been established that most of the total volume of information processed in a company can be information necessary for the management and control of logistics operations. Since the road transport system is geographically distributed, a modern specialist must master the methods of spatial analysis based on geoinformation technologies. The development of the information and communication infrastructure of a new transport company, which plans to carry out the transportation of goods by road, has been investigated. The company will provide services such as cargo transportation, freight forwarding services, cargo tracking, cargo insurance, settlement of cargo deliveries, cargo unloading and loading. For the optimal placement of the company's network, graph theory is used. An optimal communication network has been built, connecting various departments of the company, namely, the transportation department, the office, the accounting department, the economic planning department, the legal department, the mechanical department, the communications department, and the personnel department. The scientific novelty of the article is the use of the method for constructing an optimal communication network at a trucking company. The practical significance of the work is that this method can be used at any transport company that begins its activity to build communication links between any departments of the company. In this case, these connections will be optimal.

Abstract:
BackgroundSafeBoda is a motorcycle taxi company that provides road safety training and helmets to its drivers in Kampala, Uganda. We sought to determine whether SafeBoda drivers are more likely to engage in safe riding behaviours than regular drivers (motorcycle taxi drivers not part of SafeBoda). Methods We measured riding behaviours in SafeBoda and regular drivers through: (1) computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI), where 400 drivers were asked about their riding behaviours (eg, helmet and mobile phone use) and (2) roadside observation, where riding behaviours were observed in 3000 boda-boda drivers and their passengers along major roads in Kampala.ResultsAcross the two cross-sectional studies, a higher proportion of SafeBoda drivers than regular drivers engaged in safe riding behaviours. For instance, helmet use among SafeBoda compared with regular drivers was 21% points higher (95% CI 0.15 to 0.27; p<0.001) based on the CAPI and 45% points higher (95% CI 0.43 to 0.47; p<0.001) based on roadside observation. Furthermore, compared with regular drivers, SafeBoda drivers were more likely to report having a driver’s license (66.3% vs 33.5 %; p<0.001) and a reflective jacket (99.5% vs 50.5 %; p<0.001) and were less likely to report driving towards oncoming traffic (4% vs 45.7 %; p<0.001) in the past 30 days.ConclusionThe SafeBoda programme is associated with increased safe riding behaviours among motorcycle taxi drivers in Kampala. Therefore, the promotion and expansion of such programmes may lead to a reduction in morbidity and mortality due to road injuries.

Ambassador, a product by Hindustan Motors previously deemed the “King of Indian Roads” has lost its clout with the emergence of the New Economic Policy in India (1991) because of resistance to change and lack of marketing orientation. Not only did the new corporate entrants appear as threats to them, but the consumers’ changing demographics, needs, and preferences also went against the company. Therefore, Ambassador, the elegant Indian mystic, was pushed to the taxi segment. But the taxi segment was gradually populated by competitors such as Maruti Suzuki or Tata Indica. The Ambassador brand had again gone into limbo. As a final attempt to survive, the company planned to bring in the New Amby Sub-4 Meter in 2013. However, the managing director was in a dilemma whether to position it as a taxi or a passenger car and what should be the marketing strategy for it.

Abstract:
Congestion in the urban transport network is common not only in large agglomerations, but also in medium-sized cities in all countries that are characterized by a high level of socio-economic development. Traffic congestion has negative impact on economic, social, and environment development. The costs of congestion are borne by all users of the transport system, both drivers, passengers, entities providing transport services, as well as enterprises using freight transport services. The purpose of the article is to discuss the results of the study on the impact of congestion on the costs of public transport in a medium-sized city. The research method consisted in the analysis of vehicle road cards, fuel consumption statements for buses belonging to the Municipal Transport Company in Starogard Gdański and the examination of real bus travel times and the scale of delays caused by congestion on individual lines. The analysis of the data shows that thecompany bears much higher costs of fuel consumption, and passengers are exposed to bus arrivals and departures inconsistently with the timetable, prompting them to opt out of public transport services. This results in lower revenues from ticket sales and deterioration of the company’s financial result.

During a violent storm the Danish-Norwegian frigate Fredensborg was wrecked on 1 December 1768, at Tromøy, an island outside Arendal in southern Norway. The long journey in the triangular route was nearly completed when the crew of 29 men, three passengers, and two slaves managed to save their lives under very dramatic conditions. The Captain, Johan Frantzen Ferents, and the Supercargo, Christian Hoffman, saved the ship's logbook and other journals. These, together with other documents which are in the national archives in Denmark and Norway, make it possible for us to follow the course of the frigate from day to day, both during the journey and after the wreck. The Fredensborg was built in 1752-53 by the Danish West India-Guinea Company in Copenhagen. On its first journey in the triangular trade, and during five subsequent journeys to the West Indies, it sailed under the name of Cron Prins Christian. In 1765, when the Guinea Company replaced the West India-Guinea Company, taking over the forts on the Gold Coast and all trading rights and ships, the name was changed to Fredensborg, after the Danish-Norwegian fort at Ningo. At that time Denmark-Norway owned the islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix in the West Indies and their need for slaves was growing. They weighed anchor in Copenhagen on 24 June 1767 with 40 men on board, and anchored in the road at their main fort Christiansborg on the Gold Coast 100 days later, on 1 October 1767. Because of an inadequate supply of slaves, the Fredensborg remained in the road for 205 days. This had a very adverse effect on the health of the crew, with 11 deaths, including that of the Captain, Espen Kiønig. One of the deceased had drowned.

Abstract:
The traditional definition of sustainability calls for policies and strategies that meet societys present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (1). Sustainability is a concern in private and public sectors all over the world; it is an issue that resonates with people in all age ranges, income levels, and geographic locations. The main idea of sustainability is reduce, reuse, and recycle. People and organizations alike must consider every possible effect from the decisions they make in regards to the environment. With over 600,000,000 passenger cars on the road in the world, and over 50,000,000 passenger cars built each year, it is imperative that automakers make sustainable decisions (2). It is not just the large number of vehicles in the world that is cause for concern, but the immense amount of resources needed to manufacture, transport, and fuel them. Automakers must consider the impact that each car has during every stage of its life cycle, in addition to their responsibility to society (in terms of the environment, education, and safety) and the impact of their suppliers. This case study is designed to discuss the background of Toyota and highlight the companys current actions in regard to sustainable marketing; a comparison will also be made to the sustainable efforts of Honda and Subaru.

Abstract:
Tariff is the level of price or fee paid by users of goods transport services per unit trip, weight or per unit volume per kilometer. Because the tariff is intended to encourage the creation of optimum use of transportation infrastructure and facilities by considering the traffic concerned. In calculating the cost (transportation rate) of goods using an approach to vehicle production costs, it means that the ideal freight rate is determined based on vehicle operating costs plus a number of percentages of management and profits that are allowed. This case study reviews the special freight rates for the Banjarmasin – Amuntai route along 200 km. by land transportation. Where in this case, due to low tariffs, the tendency of owners of transportation services to increase the number of transport loads, one of the impacts on road network infrastructure is not achieving the planned age of the road construction. The calculation of transportation rates refers to the technical guidelines for determining tariffs for goods and passengers from the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation with three basic components, namely ownership costs, fixed costs and vehicle operating costs. From the combination of the three components, the basic tariff value for goods transportation from Banjarmasin - Amuntai per kilogram is Rp.681.39 so that the expedition company can determine the ideal tariff according to the level of service to service users

Abstract:
Public transport safety is still an issue that needs to be studied by bureaucrats and researchers. This is because public bus accidents are still quite high. This is because many families, involved in traffic accidents, are shocked by the accident. Therefore, the problem of perception of a safe bus needs to be studied. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception model of a safe public bus. Mathematical modeling based on the parameters that have been studied was selected first. While the second objective was to determine the importance value of the parameters that are an indication of the perception of the safety of intercity bus public transportation. This research is a type of perceptual one where the data is taken from the relevant respondents. The method of data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with respondents from bus company owners, drivers, and passengers in the province of East Java, Indonesia. Respondents were asked to answer questions related to the variables of income, speed, comfort, and safety. The method of conjoint analysis is used. The first stage is the result of modeling the perception of a safe bus. Further analysis is carried out to obtain the importance value of the parameters. The result of this research is a utility model for the perception of a safe bus, which is expressed by the equation U, where the variables include income, speed, comfort, and safety. The highest level of importance is income 33.29 %, followed by the security variable with a weight of 25.39 %. This shows that the income factor is a top priority for drivers and management of bus company owners, while road safety is second only to income. In other words, respondents' perceptions are more concerned with income, while safety is still a non-priority factor.
