Abstract:
Abstract – This study aimed to examine the contribution of religiostiy toward marital satisfaction of parents whose child has Down syndrome in Jakarta and Tangerang. The sample of this research consisted of 54 individuals. The Four Basic Dimensions of Religiousness Scale was used to measure the religiosity, while Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) was used to measure the marital satisfaction. Findings indicated that religiosity is not significantly associated with marital satisfaction. However, the result indicated a significant contribution of Believing dimension of religiosity toward marital satisfaction (10.7%) of parents who had a child with Down syndrome.Abstrak — Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh religiositas terhadap kepuasan pernikahan pada orangtua yang memiliki anak dengan Down syndrome di Jakarta dan Tangerang. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri atas 54 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur religiositas adalah The Four Basic Dimensions of Religiousness Scale dan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) untuk mengukur kepuasan pernikahan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara religiositas dan kepuasan pernikahan. Akan tetapi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dimensi believing memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan (10.7%) terhadap kepuasan pernikahan orangtua yang memiliki anak dengan Down syndrome.

Abstract:
The religiosity construction of the human body in Indonesian poemsThe body is an integral part of being human. It is physical as well as spiritual, not only natural but also supernatural. In this regards, proper treatment of the body may indicate the level of one’s religiosity. The purpose of this study was to find the religiosity of the human body in poems written by Indonesian poets. Adopting Küçükcan’s (2005) religiosity dimension framework, we examine the body's religiosity from the following dimensions: belief, practice, and spirituality. Our data were a collection of language units in lines and stanzas taken from poems written by Mashuri and Alek Subairi. They were analyzed using hermeneutic approach. The results show that within the dimension of belief reflected in the poems, the body is considered mortal and religious. Within the practical dimension, the body is used to fulfill economic necessity. It is also used as a means to meet God. Within the dimension of spirituality, the body channels God’s presence in various forms: love, caringness, and warmth. We conclude that these three religiosity dimensions support and complement each other.Keywords: religiosity, beliefs, practice, spirituality, bodyKonstruksi religiositas tubuh dalam puisi IndonesiaTubuh merupakan bagian penting dalam diri manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan religiositas tubuh pada puisi-puisi karya penyair Indonesia. Religiositas tubuh dikaji dari segi dimensi keyakinan, praktik, dan spiritualitas dengan memakai teori dimensi religiositas yang dikembangkan oleh Küçükcan (2005). Penelitian ini menggunakan data yang berupa satuan bahasa dalam larik dan bait yang terdapat pada puisi Mashuri dan Alek Subairi. Data lalu dianalisis secara hermeneutik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dalam dimensi keyakinan yang terdapat dalam puisi, tubuh dipandang fana dan religius. Dalam dimensi praktik, tubuh dipakai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi dan juga sebagai sarana pertemuan dengan Tuhan. Dalam dimensi spiritualitas, tubuh menjadi sarana kehadiran Tuhan dalam aneka rupa: cinta, kepedulian, dan kehangatan. ABSTRAK: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat religiositas dan kinerja karyawa bank syariah x; pengaruh religiositas karyawan erhadap kierjanya. Lebih lanjut penelitian ini juga melihat bagaiamana manajer meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah karyawan bank syariah X yang ada dikantor pusat. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan kombinasi kualitaif dan kuantitaif. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dari wawancara dan juga data sekunder. Dalam menganalisis data kuantitatif menggunakan regression test, sedangkan untuk yang kualitatif menggunakan induktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah; tingkat religiositas bank syariah X berada pada level yang bagus dan juga tingkat kinerja karyawan; tingkat religiositas berpengaruh sebesar 33,8 % terhadap kinerja karyawan dan selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh factor yang lain.Kata kunci: Religiositas, kinerja karyawan, Bank syariah, dan regresi.ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research is to test : (1) how the religiosity rate and workers performance in x syariah bank; (2) the influence of religiosity rate to workers performance. furthermore, this research will looking for the way how to increase workers performance. The object of this research is the workers of x syariah bank at the head office. The method of this research is the combination between quantitative and qualitative method. Using two types of data, the primer data (questionnaire, interview and observation) and the secondary data (documentation and literature). In quantitative analysis Regression test is used. Whereas for qualitative analysis, using inductive method. The result of this study show that: (1) the religiosity rate of x syariah bank workers is relatively at very religious level, Workers performance rate also relatively at very good level; (2) that there is a significant influence 33,8% between religiosity rate to performance. Whereas 66,2% performance influenced by other aspect such as culture and job environment, leadership from top management, job motivation, job satisfaction, and others.Keywords: Religiosity, performance, Islamic bank, Regression

Abstract This article discusses the findings of a study that measures the level of religiosity of students who participated in a tauhidic science education program for six months. The study aims to gauge the worldview and personality of students after being exposed with science education interdisciplinary with Islamic religious education. This study employs the set of Muslim Religiosity Personality Index (MRPI). Based on the findings of this study, this group of students has a moderate level of Islamic Worldview, but high Religious Personality. The findings of this study provide information about the religious experience among students based on the program in which they have enrolled. AimsWe wished to explore associations between intrinsic religiosity, extrinsic (non-organizational (ENORG) and organizational (EORG)) religiosity and hallucinations phenomenology in a non-clinical Muslim population.MethodsWe selected full-time students at Qatar University using systematic random sampling and administered the Questionnaire of Psychotic Experiences online. We modelled the effects of sociodemographic variables, anxiety, depressive symptoms, and religiosity measures, delusions on hallucinations severity and distress/impact in the past week, using structural equation modelling.ResultsDirect-effects models supported ENORG religiosity's protective role against experiencing distress or negative impact on daily function from hallucinations. Intrinsic religiosity had positive indirect-effects on hallucinations distress/impact through depression, anxiety, and through EORG but negative (suppression) indirect-effects on hallucinations distress/impact through ENORG. Younger and married from lower socio-economic class participants had comparatively more severe hallucinations and more distress from them.ConclusionWe present evidence of differential associations between the religiosity types, socioeconomic and cultural groups, and past week distress/impact of hallucinations.Our data support the importance of alignment between religious education and mental health and well-being education.

Abstract. Countries differ in their religiosity and these differences have been found to moderate numerous psychological effects. The burgeoning research in this area creates a demand for a country-level religiosity index that is comparable across a large number of countries. Here, we offer such an index, which covers 166 countries and rests on representative data from 1,619,300 participants of the Gallup World Poll. Moreover, we validate the novel index, use it to examine temporal change in worldwide religiosity over the last decade, and present a comprehensive analysis of country-level religiosity’s nomological network. The main results are as follows. First, the index was found to be a valid index of global religiosity. Second, country-level religiosity modestly increased between 2006 and 2011 and modestly decreased between 2011 and 2017 – demonstrating a curvilinear pattern. Finally, nomological network analysis revealed three things: it buttressed past evidence that religious countries are economically less developed; it clarified inconsistencies in the literature on the health status of inhabitants from religious countries, suggesting that their psychological and physical health tends to be particularly good once economic development is accounted for; and finally, it shed initial light on the associations between country-level religiosity and various psychological dimensions of culture (i.e., Hofstede’s cultural dimensions and country-level Big Five traits). These associations revealed that religious countries are primarily characterized by high levels of communion (i.e., collectivism and agreeableness). We are optimistic that the newly presented country-level religiosity index can satisfy the fast-growing demand for an accurate and comprehensive global religiosity index.

Abstract. The religiosity of students on campus tends to decrease during their education on campus because of the secularization of knowledge on campus. Thus, the role of the campus is very important in increasing student’s religiosity. The religiosity of students can be influenced by the campus by developing religious courses such as Islamic Religious Education and also through scientific courses that are widely studied in religious contexts. The problem is the extent to which the ability of scientific lecturers to study religious knowledge in the context of science which is taught in the course. This research uses narrative and explanatory analysis. The result of this research is that there is no curriculum that has been studied in detail and comprehensively in public universities in the world so that religiosity becomes the core basis for the preparation.Abstrak. Religiositas mahasiswa di kampus cenderung mengalami penurunan selama menjalani pendidikan di kampus karena sekulerisasi keilmuan yang diajrkan di kampus. Peran kampus dengan demikian sangat penting dalam meningkatkan religiositas mahasiswa. Religisositas mahasiswa bisa dipengaruhi oleh kampus dengan cara mengembangkan mata kuliah keagamaan seperti Pendidikan Agama Islam dan juga bisa melalui mata kuliah keilmuan yang banyak mengkaji keilmuan itu dalam konteks keagamaan. Problermnya adalah sejauhmana kemampuan dosen dalam mengkaji ilmu agama dalam konteks keilmuan yang diajarkannya dalam mata kuliah. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis naratif dan eksplanatori. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa belum ada kurikulum yang dikaji secara detail dan komprehensif pada universitas umum di dunia ini agar religiositas menjadi dasar inti dalam penyusunan tersebut.

Novel Nadzar-Nadzar Jiwa karya Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi menggambarkan religiositas tokoh utamanya.Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi secara deskriptif sikap religiositas tokoh utama yang terdapat dalam novel Nadzar-Nadzar Jiwa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Metode ini dipandang sesuai dengan masalah dan tujuan penelitian yang telah ditentukan. Metode ini berusaha mendeskripsikan sejumlah masalah religiositas dalam novel Nadzar-Nadzar Jiwa karya Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi.Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Nadzar-Nadzar Jiwa karya Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2009. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan dapat diperoleh hasil penelitian, yaitu sikap religiositas tokoh utama yang digambarkan berupa hubungan tokoh utama dengan Tuhan, hubungan tokoh utama dengan sesama manusia, dan hubungan tokoh utama dengan hakikat hidup. Bertitik tolak dari hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa novel Nadzar-Nadzar Jiwa karya Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi berisi kisahperjuangan sosok Anas dalam mencapai harapannya untuk sukses.Abstract:Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi’s Nadzar-Nadzar Jiwa describes main character’s religiosity. This study intends to gain information regarding main character’s religiosity depicted in the story. The study employs a descriptive method. The method is as considered suitable to the problem and the aim of the study. This method attempts to describe a number of religiosity problems in Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi’s Nadzar-Nadzar Jiwa. The data source of this study is Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi’s novel “Nadzar- Nadzar Jiwa” published in 2009.The result of the analysis reveals that the attitudes of main character’s religiosity were depicted in the form of God’s relationship with the main character, the relationship of main character with fellow human beings, and the relationship of main character with the essence of life. Based on the findings, it is concluded that Budi Sulistyo En-Nafi’s Nadzar- Nadzar Jiwa contains the story of Anas’ life struggle, as the main character, in his expectation to succeed in life.

This study investigated the social dynamics that underlie the negative association between religiosity and cigarette use among U.S. adolescents. Using data from the 2007 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, the authors used a theory-based conceptual model (vicarious learning networks [VLN]) to examine the role that key reference group norms play in the religiosity—smoking relationship. This relationship is partially mediated by parents’ and close friends’ perceived disapproval for smoking. However, religiosity maintains a strong negative association with smoking. Consistent with the VLN model, cigarette use varied substantively based on reference group normative configurations. To the extent that the protective effects of religiosity arise from its influence in structuring the social milieu, some of religiosity’s benefits could potentially be leveraged through interventions that promote healthy norms among reference groups within the social network. The VLN model may be a useful tool for conceptualizing the transmission of health behavior through social learning processes.

Adolescents who live in the orphanage usually don’t live with their own family for a variety of reasons. Separation and disappointment with the family often make them hard to show gratitude. Previous studies show that there is a correlation between religiosity and gratitude. But even when they were educated in Christian orphanage that has a routine religious activity, many are found has a hard time to show his or her gratitude. By this research, author wanted to find out the influence of religiosity to gratitude, also the influence of each dimension of religiosity to gratitude. This study used The Four Basic Dimensions of Religiousness Scale and Gratitude Questionnaire – 6 Item Form. The participants of this study are 88 Christian adolescents who live at Christian orphanage, which are 11-20 years old. The result of this study shows that there is a significant influence of religiosity to gratitude (R2= .176, p= .003), with the most significant influence of religiosity’s dimension is behaving (B= .302, p= .019).

Abstract Morality in the campus environment tells about the lives of students which talks about the actions and behavior of students from Christian education backgrounds—problems about my actions and behavior that can still do things that violate morality. Students can apply a moral life on campus and in the community. First, this study aims to determine the level of religiosity among students of the Kupang State Christian Institute for the 2019 Christian Religious Education study program. Second, the level of morality in the students of the Kupang State Christian Institute for the Study of Christian Religious Education, class 2019. The third is to prove the relationship between religiosity and morality in students. Kupang State Christian Institute, Class of 2019. This study uses a quantitative approach. Based on the results of the research analysis proves that the level of student religiosity is very high. The percentage level of student morality is high. The correlation test results show a significant relationship between religiosity and the morality of students at the Kupang State Christian Institute, Christian Religious Education Study Program. Abstrak Moralitas dilingkungan kampus yang bercerita tentang kehidupan para mahasiswa yang didalamnya berbicara tentang perbuatan dan tingkah laku/ahklak para mahasiswa yang berlatar belakang mahasiswa pendidikan Kristen. Masalah tentang perbuatan dan tingkalaku yang masih kedapat melakukan perbuatan yang melanggar moralitas. Mahasiswa mampu menerapkan kehidupan yang bermoral di lingkungan kampus maupun di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara religiositas dengan moralitas, berdasarkan studi kasus pada mahasiswa Institut Agama Kristen Negeri Kupang, Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Kristen angkatan 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian membuktikan tingkat religiositas mahasiswa sangat tinggi. Persentase tingkat moralitas mahasiswa tinggi. Dari hasil uji korelasi terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara religiositas dengan moralitas mahasiswa Institut Agama Kristen Negeri Kupang, Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Kristen.

This article examines religiosity among a sample of Jews living in Windsor-Essex County. This study uses three indicators to measure religiosity, including belief in G-d, prayer routine, and the Sabbath. The researcher interviewed fifty members of this community with an age rage between their early twenties to late eighties. The results show that the community has a somewhat moderate belief in G-d but does not pray or honour the Sabbath at comparable levels. To account for this diminished religiosity, Pippa Norris and Ronald Inglehart’s existential security theory will be applied. The article concludes that given the high degree of existential security derived from the sample’s high education level, there is little personal need to adhere to the major tenets of Judaism. Cet article examine la religiosité parmi un échantillon de Juifs vivant dans le comté de Windsor-Essex. Cette étude se base sur trois indicateurs pour mesurer la religiosité, notamment la croyance en Dieu, la routine de prière et le sabbat. Le chercheur a interrogé cinquante membres de cette communauté dont l’âge varie entre 20 et 80 ans. Les résultats démontrent que la communauté a une croyance assez modérée en Dieu, mais ne prie pas ou n’honore pas le sabbat à des niveaux comparables. Pour rendre compte de cette religiosité diminuée, la théorie de la sécurité existentielle de Pippa Norris et Ronald Inglehart sera appliquée. L’article conclut qu’étant donné le haut degré de sécurité existentielle découlant du haut niveau d’éducation de l’échantillon, il n’est guère nécessaire, sur le plan personnel, d’adhérer aux grands principes du judaïsme.

Penelitian ini menggunakan 123 sampel dari mahasiswa aktif jurusan Akuntansi yang memiliki akreditasi A dan B. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan purposive sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat religiusitas berdasarkan tata kelola universitas yang baik. Semakin baik manajemen pendidikan tinggi, semakin tinggi religiositas siswa. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa perguruan tinggi tidak hanya menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kecerdasan tinggi tetapi juga lulusan yang memiliki religiusitas yang baik. Abstract: The University that is trusted by the community should have a moral responsibility on students ethics and behavior who are graduated. As part of its responsibility to the community, universities must have good governance and produce quality graduates. This study aims to examine the relationship of good university governance that is proxied by the value of accreditation with the level of student religiosity both intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity. This study uses 123 samples from active students majoring in Accounting who have accreditation A and B. This research is a quantitative study with purposive sampling as a sampling technique. The results of the study show that there are differences in the level of religiosity based on good university governance. The better management of higher education, the higher the religiosity of students. This research implies that universities should not only produce graduates who have high intelligence but also graduates who have good religiosity. As the descendant of Werner Erhard's 1970s Human Potential group est (Erhard Seminars Training), Landmark Education has continuously denied being a religious organization. Despite ample discourse on the religious nature of the group within popular online and print media, a conspicuous void within academia - particularly within Religious Studies - speaks volumes. Rarely are the boundaries of what constitutes a ‘religion’ expanded in order to explore those groups that, though not understood to be ‘religious’ in a traditional sense, clearly contribute to contemporary 'spiritual' life. And yet, that Landmark Education is perceived as being somehow religious demands deeper analysis. This article highlights the problematics of 'religion' within late Western modernity as illustrated by the contention surrounding the religious status of both Scientology and Transcendental Meditation. A discussion of Landmark Education is offered in light of these issues, along with a dissection of the religio-spiritual dimensions of the organisation and its primary product, the Landmark Forum. Incorporating several eastern spiritual practices, the highly emotional nature of the Landmark Forum’s weekend training is such as to create Durkheimian notions of 'religious effervescence', altering pre-existing belief systems and producing a sense of the sacred collective. Group-specific language contributes to this, whilst simultaneously shrouding Landmark Education in mystery and esotericism. The Forum is replete with stories of miracles, healings, and salvation apposite for a modern western paradigm. Indeed, the sacred pervades the training, manifested in the form of the Self, capable of altering the very nature of the world and representing the 'ultimate concern'.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to define the brand religiosity phenomenon and develop a theoretical process model showing the interrelationships between brand religiosity and other related concepts leading to the formation of a distinct brand sub-culture or community. Design/methodology/approach A large volume of prior literature on consumer–brand relationships has been reviewed to develop the conceptual framework. Findings The framework developed shows several actionable antecedents and desirable marketing outcomes of brand religiosity. The framework also depicts that brand religiosity leads to the creation of social anti-structure by forming a distinct brand community that frees individuals from the regular social structure and motivates them to adopt a distinct brand sub-culture formed. Theoretical contributions and business policy-related implications of brand religiosity are discussed. Originality/value Value of the study lies in conceptualizing brand religiosity and developing an integrative process model centering the concept.

In this essay the author explores the thesis that music is by its nature religious, or rather, that it has qualities that correspond well with what religion, in a broad sense, aspires to be. Four musical qualities are explored: timbre, the tonal system of western music, the time relations within the tonal network, and the non-referential nature of music. These qualities are linked to the definition of ‘the religious’ by John Dewey. The main conclusion is that an analogy can be shown between the musical and the religious experience: both composers and musicians challenge the listeners to explore the hidden religiosity in the performance of music.

This study aimed to establish the significant influence of religiosity on the credibility of the Bids and Awards Committee of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. There were 300 respondents in this study chosen through the random sampling technique. Respondents were the members of the Bids and Awards committees, office personnel, suppliers, and bidders of the Civil Aviation of the Philippines, excluding the rest of the aviation employees not involved in the procurement system of CAAP. A non-experimental quantitative design utilized a descriptive correlational technique to gather data. Statistics used in data analysis were the mean and standard deviation, Pearson r, and regression analysis. Results showed a very high level of religiosity and a high level of credibility among the respondents. In addition, the correlation test revealed a significant positive relationship between religiosity and credibility. Furthermore, the regression analysis revealed the overall influence of religiosion to credibility. When regressed individually, it was found that responsibility best predicts credibility.

In addition, it is also to illustrate the relevance of literary works as teaching materials in literature learning at the high school level. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method with content analysis techniques. The results of this study found 18 dimensions of religiosity, including 3 dimensions of belief data, 3 dimensions of worship data, 5 dimensions of experience data, 4 dimensions of religious knowledge, and 3 data dimensions of effects. The data is relevant to Indonesian literature learning related to basic competencies to find elements and features of novel language in high school level. Thus, this novel can be used as teaching material. Despite the low level of new venture survival particularly during the period of economic crisis, extant studies have not explained much about factors that contribute to entrepreneurial persistence. Therefore, this study aims to explain entrepreneurial persistence by testing the effects of religiosity, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial persistence. This study uses a quantitative approach; using data from 150 entrepreneurs living in some major cities in Indonesia. The data was obtained through an online questionnaire and was analysed by using SmartPLS version 4. Our results show the effects of religiosity, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial persistence. In addition, the results show the role of entrepreneurial passion as a mediating variable in the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and persistence. However, the result does not indicate the role of entrepreneurial passion as a mediating variable in the relationship between religiosity and persistence. Overall, the results suggest the important role of self-efficacy, passion, and religiosity in supporting entrepreneurial persistence.Di tengah rendahnya tingkat keberlangsungan usaha baru terutama pada masa krisis, penelitian selama in belum banyak menjelaskan tentang faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap entrepreneurial persistence atau kegigihan entrepreneur dalam menjalankan usaha. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan entrepreneurial persistence dengan menguji peran religiosity, entrepreneurial self-Efficacy dan entrepreneurial passion. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data yang didapat dari 150 pengusaha di berbagai kota di Indonesia. Data primer dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui sebuah survey online dan diolah dengan menggunakan Smart PLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa religiosity, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, dan entrepreneurial passion memiliki pengaruh terhadap entrepreneurial persistence. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan peran mediasi entrepreneurial passion dalam hubungan antara entrepreneurial self-efficacy dengan persistence. Akan ttetapi peran sebagai variabel mediasi ini tidak terdapat dalam hubungan antara religiosity dengan persistence. This phenomenon is also evident in the youth communities within the church. The core teaching of the Christianity is love, in which love is supposed to inhibit individuals to initiate aggressive behavior. This study aims to explore the correlation between religiosity, which has two components (intrinsic religiosity orientation and extrinsic religiosity orientation), towards aggressive behavior in youth communities within the church. This study used quantitative method. To obtain and collect the data, we used the aid of questionnaire distributed through purposive technique towards 87 subjects. The instruments included the Verbal Aggressive Scale for the aggressive behavior, the I/E-R Scales to measure religious orientation, and Faith Development Scale to measure the development of faith in each individual. The result of this research pointed out that there is no significant correlation between intrinsic religious orientation and aggressive behavior and that is a positive correlation between extrinsic religious orientation and aggressive behavior.</em><br /><br />Abstrak — Banyak individu yang memiliki hidup dengan keterkaitan yang erat dengan agama, namun di sisi lain perilaku agresivitas mereka tetap tinggi. Fenomena ini juga terjadi dalam komunitas pemuda gereja. Inti dari ajaran agama Kristen adalah kasih, di mana idealnya kasih tersebut menahan individu untuk tidak melakukan perilaku agresif. Untuk menjelaskan fenomena ini, dilakukan penelitian mengenai hubungan antara religiositas, yang di dalamnya terdiri dari orientasi religiositas intrinsik dan ekstrinsik, dengan agresivitas pada pemuda gereja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner di mana sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling kepada 87 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Verbal Aggressiveness Scale untuk mengukur agresivitas, I/E-R Scales untuk mengukur orientasi religiositas, dan Faith Developmental Scale untuk mengukur perkembangan iman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara religiositas intrinsik dengan agresivitas, namun terdapatnya korelasi positif antara religiositas ekstrinsik dengan agresivitas.</p>

Information on the absence of basic immunization due to religious reasons and the general overview of immunization coverage among religious believers in Indonesia is still limited. This study aims to examine the relationship between parental religiosity and basic immunization status on children because there are still many children who are not fully immunized in Indonesia. This study used cross-sectional data of the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) 2007 and 2014 with the unit of analysis for families having children aged 1-5 years. Our estimations using ordered logistic regression confirm that there is a relationship between religiosity on the parents' decision to perform basic immunization on their children. The differences in religiosity patterns in 2007 and 2014 illustrate changes in individual religious behavior towards the basic immunization program. These changes occur through religious social support. Abstrak Informasi tidak dilakukannya imunisasi dasar karena alasan agama masih terbatas dan gambaran cakupan imunisasi di antara pemeluk agama di Indonesia secara aktual belum dapat diketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara religiositas orang tua dengan status imunisasi dasar pada anak dikarenakan masih banyaknya anak yang tidak diberikan imunisasi secara lengkap di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan sumber data Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) Tahun 2007 dan 2014 dengan unit analisis keluarga yang memiliki anak usia 1-5 tahun dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi ordered logistic. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara religiositas terhadap keputusan orang tua untuk melakukan imunisasi dasar pada anaknya. Perbedaan pola religiositas tahun 2007 dan 2014 menggambarkan adanya perubahan perilaku beragama individu terhadap program imunisasi dasar. Perubahan tersebut dapat terjadi melalui dukungan sosial keagamaan.

In Vietnam, individuals possess the fundamental right to exercise their freedom of religion, resulting in a diverse array of religious practices observed throughout the country. Furthermore, the matter of premarital sexual permission and the associated attitudes towards abortion consistently provoke moral and religious disputes. Hence, conducting research to explore the under-researched association between intrinsic religiosity, abortion attitudes, and premarital sexual permissiveness within the context of Vietnam is necessary. The study included 181 participants who were members of popular religious groups in Vietnam, including Buddhism, Christianity, and Caodaism. The participants' ages ranged from 16 to 35 years old. Participants in the study completed measures of intrinsic religiosity (IR), attitude towards abortion (AAS), and premarital sexual permissiveness (PSP). The findings reveal differences in these among individuals with different genders and relationship statuses. The findings also indicate that individuals with high levels of intrinsic religiosity exhibit a more pro-life attitude toward abortion. Furthermore, a positive correlation between premarital sexual permissiveness and attitudes towards abortion was also found. Religiosity's influence on abortion attitudes and premarital sexual permissiveness necessitates further investigation due to its widespread appeal.

Beberapa riset menunjukkan kontribusi religiositas terhadap kesehatan mental selama pandemi tidak selalu seperti yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini berusaha melihat kaitan konsep diferensiasi diri dari teori keluarga Bowen dalam kontribusi religiositas terhadap kesehatan mental. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 1574 mahasiswa dari 16 universitas di Jabodetabek. Hasil hierarchical multiple regression menemukan dimensi behaving dari 4-BDRS justru memberikan kontribusi negatif pada kesehatan mental sedangkan dimensi maintaining identity dari diferensiasi diri berkontribusi positif pada kesehatan mental. Implikasi dari hasil ini akan dijelaskan. Some research shows that the contribution of religiosity to mental health during a pandemic is not always as expected. This study seeks to examine the relationship between the concept of self-differentiation from Bowen's family theory in the contribution of religiosity to mental health. The respondents of this research were 1574 students from 16 universities in Jabodetabek. The results of hierarchical multiple regression found that the behaving dimension of 4-BDRS actually gave a negative contribution to mental health, while the dimension of maintaining identity from self-differentiation contributed positively to mental health. The implications of these results will be explained.

Abstract:
This article argues that secular humanists’ scholars like postmodernists are developing great interest in spirituality as though they are beginning to have a positive approach towards religion and as though they are beginning to abandon their secular humanistic beliefs. Despite such positive approach towards spiritualism, they have not changed their position against religion. In fact, in the spiritual practices of Eastern religions such as the transcendental meditation of Buddhism and Hinduism in healing Western troubled souls has however no clear relationship with religiosity. In the same vein, Postmodern preaches that mental growth, development, inner peace and contentment are gained on a personal and individual level instead of developing a relationship with God. This kind of secularization to spirituality is absurd and confusing to Muslims who do not differentiate between the Western conceptions of spirituality and religiosity. Hence, the objective of this paper is to address the issue of spirituality brought forth by secular humanism and postmodern, by drawing the distinction between western secular conception of spirituality and Islamic spirituality, the nature and the significant of spirituality and the relationship between spirituality and religiosity and spiritual intelligence. This paper concludes there is a necessary and positive relationship between religious and spiritual practices and psycho-spiritual wellbeing and life as a whole. From Islamic perspective, no spirituality without religiosity. Spirituality is the essence of religiosity and they are undoubtedly of equal important and significant to understand the role of religion which is revealed from God, as a way of life. Hence, there is no good without God. Abstrak Artikel ini berhujah bahawa sarjana humanis sekular seperti postmodernis sedang mengembangkan minat yang besar dalam kerohanian seolah-olah mereka mula mempunyai pendekatan positif terhadap agama dan seolah-olah mereka mula meninggalkan kepercayaan humanistik sekular mereka. Walaupun pendekatan positif terhadap kerohanian, mereka tidak mengubah pendirian mereka terhadap agama. Malah, dalam amalan kerohanian agama-agama Timur seperti meditasi transendental agama Buddha dan Hindu dalam menyembuhkan jiwa-jiwa bermasalah Barat bagaimanapun tidak mempunyai hubungan yang jelas dengan religiositi. Dalam nada yang sama, Postmodern mendakwa bahawa pertumbuhan mental, perkembangan, kedamaian dalaman dan kepuasan diperoleh pada peringkat peribadi dan individu dan bukannya membina hubungan dengan Tuhan. Sekularisasi kepada kerohanian semacam ini adalah tidak masuk akal dan mengelirukan umat Islam yang tidak membezakan antara konsep kerohanian dan religiusiti dari percepsi Barat. Oleh itu, objektif artikel ini adalah untuk menangani isu kerohanian yang dibawa oleh humanisme sekular dan pascamoden, dengan membezakan antara konsep kerohanian sekular barat dan kerohanian Islam, sifat dan signifikan kerohanian dan hubungan antara kerohanian dan keagamaan. dan kecerdasan rohani. Artikel ini menyimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang perlu dan positif antara amalan keagamaan dan kerohanian serta kesejahteraan psiko-rohani dan kehidupan secara keseluruhan. Dari perspektif Islam, tiada kerohanian tanpa religiositi. Kerohanian adalah intipati religiositi dan mereka tidak dapat dinafikan sama penting dan signifikan untuk memahami peranan agama yang diturunkan daripada Tuhan, sebagai cara hidup. Oleh itu, tanpa agama dan wahyu dari Tuhan tidak akan ada kebaikan/salvation.

Abstract:
In the paper, the author deals with the relationship between gender and frequency of (ir)religiosity. Bearing in mind that the finding of more frequent religiosity of women is almost universal within Christianity, various psychological and sociological explanations are presented and dealt with. In the latter part of the paper, the author presents empirical survey data from Slovenia. The longitudinal analysis of correlation of gender and religiosity does not indicate any trend, though fluctuations are detected. A two step cross tabulation of education, gender and religiosity points to a minimal possibility of explanation by lower education among females. Regression analysis indicates that social variables remain robust, when gender is introduced into the model. It is concluded that factors of a sociological nature cannot explain the full difference in religiosity among males and females and that psychological factors immanent to gender should be taken into account.

Abstract:
The paper starts from the problematization of the results of recent empirical studies on the connection between poverty and religiosity. All of these studies confirm the secularization thesis on negative correlation between the degrees of religiosity and wealth of some society. For this work primarily importance is to determine why it is that among the members of a poorer societies religiosity is higher, or to point on poverty as a "social situation" that favors it. On the other hand, considering the question of varying degrees of religiosity among the countries with same or similar level of development, suggesting on a problem of growing economic inequality and the consequences it has on the level of people's religiosity, both in the poor and in rich and developed societies. The conclusion is that classical secularization paradigm should be supplemented by explaining the influence of neoliberal capitalism on all segments of society and culture and also on religion.
