Abstract:
Purpose – This paper seeks to describe the work of Ian Macneil, a legal scholar advocating the use of relational contract theory and behavioral norms to evaluate exchange relations in business. The aim is to show through bibliometric and comparative analyses that Macneil has influenced management scholarship and dialogue about relational contract theory to an extent not recognized by management scholars. Design/methodology/approach – Evidence of impact is evaluated through a bibliometric analysis of primary and secondary citations. This is followed by a comparison of Macneil's theory with four theories – integrated social contract theory, stakeholder theory, transaction cost theory, and rational choice theory. Findings – Results indicate that Macneil has had a substantial impact on researchers working in different business disciplines, from marketing to economics and management. Bibliometric analysis reveals that his work is widely cited, suggesting that Macneil's contribution extends beyond legal scholarship to influence business scholarship. Research limitations/implications – Implications are that Macneil's relational contract theory should be considered when developing frameworks for guiding research on workplaces that are increasingly relational, connected and global. This is especially relevant in cases where workplace exchange appears on the surface to be non-contractual and based on societal customs and norms. Originality/value – This paper recognizes the work of a major legal scholar in the formulation and discussion of relational contract theory in business scholarship. It introduces concepts that can support and act as a guide for future research on forms of relational exchange and recognizes the importance of Ian Macneil's work in supporting that research stream.

Abstract:
Abstract Purpose - Organizations have an important role in human life. Some of the important roles include being a place for activities, work, increasing knowledge and abilities, and achieving the targets and/or goals of the organization itself. Further research is to review how important organizational sustainability is and to find out how far an organization is able to survive in the midst of global competition. Design/methodology/approach - This study uses the Scopus metric as an Evaluation Technique where for research on Sustainability from 2020 and 2022 the highest in this research is sustainability. The relational bibliometric network visualization technique draws a global representation of the concepts and their relationships,Bibliometric Density visualization relational techniques show little research. and Relational Bilbliometric Techniques Visualization Ovelay Visualization shows new and old research, Findings and Discussion –The results of mapping using the Scopus metric are from 2020 and 2022 where the highest in this research is sustainability. Bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer with the type of analysis "co-occurrence" with the unit of analysis "author keywords" and the choice of visualization display results "density visualization", shows that sustainability has a greater link strength value. In the "overlay visualization" display, the results show that if the color is brighter or more yellow, then the keyword is the latest or most recent research. Conclusion - Organization is an institution or group that is consciously coordinated, and relatively continuous to achieve a common goal that has been set.Relational Bibliometric Visualization Techniques Ovelay Visualization depicts that the darker the color means the research has been done for a long time, the lighter the color, the newer the research is. The "overlay visualization" technique shows that the brighter or yellower the color, the more recent or recent the research

Abstract:
This is an application of the mathematical and statistical techniques of bibliometrics to the field of crystallography. This study is, however, restricted to inorganic compounds. The data were taken from the Inorganic Crystal Structure Database, which is a well defined and evaluated body of literature and data published from 1913 to date. The data were loaded in a relational database system, which allows a widespread analysis. The following results were obtained: The cumulative growth rate of the number of experimentally determined crystal structures is best described by a third-degree polynomial function. Except for the upper end of the curve, Bradford's plot can be described well by the analytical Leimkuhler function. The publication process is dominated by a small number of periodicals. The probability of the author productivity in terms of publications follows an inverse power law of the Lotka form and in terms of database entries an inverse power law in the Mandelbrot form. In both cases the exponent is about 1.7. For the lower tail of the data an exponential correction factor has to be applied. Multiple authorship has increased from 1.4 authors per publication to about four within the past eight decades. The author distribution itself is represented by a lognormal distribution.

Abstract:
This article exposes the formulation of a relational model that allows in any type of organization the practical development of the concepts proposed by the theory of Dynamic Capabilities, to be integrated as a management strategy that allows for increasing the levels of competitiveness and business survival, for which a qualitative study was carried out under the methodology of bibliometric analysis and documentary review of more than 500 relevant scientific documentary sources through an analytical and interpretive synthesis of the most significant arguments. Among the most important results of this study, it stands out the power to establish the most representative results of recent years, a relational model that identifies each of the steps and key factors that any type of organization must develop, to achieve the postulates that it exposes. The theory of dynamic capabilities is based on concepts such as organizational learning, absorbing knowledge, innovation, value-added, adaptability, business competitiveness, internationalization, and survival.

Abstract:
Social dimension is a fundamental element in the evaluation of initiatives and policies that are demanded and promoted by public and private organizations as well as society as a whole. Thus, there is a thriving interest in social impact research, especially from the point of view of its measurement and valuation. In this work, we explored the rising attention on the concept of social impact to identify salient agents in the field and categorize the conceptual structure of research. To achieve this, we used evaluative and relational techniques combining traditional bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer and a text mining analysis based on natural processing language (NLP) to search for documents with the term “social impact” in the title. The documents were extracted from the database Web of Science (WoS) for the period of 1938–2020. As a result, we mapped the concept of social impact from up to 1677 documents, providing an overview of the topics in which the concept was used (e.g., health, finance, environment and development, etc.) and the trends of research. This work seeks to serve as a roadmap that reflects not only the evolution of social impact but also future lines of research that require attention.

Abstract:
This article empirically provides a global overview of physical literacy, which allows for the understanding of the structure of the epistemic community studying literacy for healthy living. Publications registered in the Web of Science are analyzed using bibliometrics (spatial, productive, and relational) based on data from 391 records, published between 2007 and April 2022, applying five bibliometric laws and using VOSviewer software for data and metadata processing and visualization. In terms of results, we observe an exponential increase in scientific production in the last decade, with a concentration of scientific discussion on physical literacy in seven journals; a production distributed in 46 countries situated on the five continents, but concentrated in Canada and the United States; co-authored research networks composed of 1256 researchers but with a production concentrated of around 2% of these, and an even smaller number of authors with high production and high impact. Finally, there are four thematic blocks that, although interacting, constitute three specific knowledge production communities that have been delineated over time in relation to health and quality of life, fitness and physical competence, education, and fundamental movement skills.

Abstract:
There has been a significant increase in the number of studies addressing smart experiences in the context of tourism (SET). Nevertheless, no previous work has systematically and critically analysed the literature on this subject. To fulfil this gap, this paper examines the evolution of SET as a research topic by mapping the scientific production on it. To this end, 84 papers published from 2011 to April 2019 were retrieved from Scopus. To map this data, a blend of bibliometric analysis techniques, including the analysis of evaluative measures (productivity and impact metrics) and relational techniques (word frequency analysis and key theme analysis), was employed. Evaluative metrics were carried out using Plotly, Excel, and DB Gnosis software. The reviewed papers were then visually analysed through mind maps using BizAgi Process Modeler. The study presents an original theoretical insight, as well as a significant methodological contribution, as it employs an integrative approach of bibliometric analysis that relies on a set of rigorous techniques and can be implemented in future studies.

Abstract:
The publication of the Brundtland report in 1987 introduced the concept of sustainable development, placing “sustainability” as a unifying idea for all academic disciplines. Consequently, in the tourism sector, sustainable tourism emerged as a new approach to research in the field. Since then, the body of literature on sustainable tourism has only increased, as has the discussion around the conceptual structure of sustainable tourism among academics and professionals. The aim of the study is to complement this theoretical discussion with an inductive approach to the limits of the conceptual structure of sustainable tourism. To do so, we identify the main research topics in the field and their evolution in the past 32 years through bibliometric methods such as evaluative techniques, relational techniques, and visualization of bibliometric data techniques using the VOSviewer program. The results of the study reflect that the sustainable tourism has reached a complexity that is reflected in its current polyhedral content to function as a conceptual umbrella. In addition, it demonstrates that the bibliometric analysis is an adequate and useful methodology for academics and professionals involved in the academic debate around this field of knowledge.

Abstract:
Amidst the development of Industry 4.0, the appropriation of digital tools applied to production and manufacturing of activities represents a challenge for managers in other areas. Digital Twin (DT) technology is based on the integration of different "traditional" tools, such as simulation modeling and sensors, and aims to increase the performance of any process that can be represented virtually. With the increase in population, the demand for more efficient and universal Health Management (HM) has become a challenge of the 21st century. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the field of knowledge DT and HM and their interactions. A bibliometric review was performed using the Web of Science database through the Bibliometrix package and the VOSviewer application to evaluate studies, applications and identify research clusters and future trends. Our study indicates that the applications of DT in HM are focused on the diagnosis and monitoring of chronic diseases and that, so far, there is not a critical mass of knowledge that consolidates a general theory of application of DT and HM. This study identifies a relational hotspot between the integration of a DT in the optimization of resource management and patient care.

Abstract:
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to synthesize the review of the existing literature attached to the grey economic system theory and applications and aims to offer a comprehensive picture of the contribution brought by the researchers to this particular field. Also, the paper underlines the main research areas within the grey economic theory and applications and serves as an informative summary kit for future research works and research directions. Design/methodology/approach – For appreciating the scientific progress made since the grey systems theory has been initiated to the present, with an accent on the literature dedicated to the economic field, a bibliometrics analysis has been conducted. The Perish or Publish software was used for extracting the needed data from Google Scholar for the entire period since the appearance of grey systems to now-a-days. In addition, an ISI Web of Science (WoS) search has been performed for extracting the grey economic papers. As the main focus is on the economic subject area of the grey systems, only the papers related to this field have been selected. Findings – The total number of grey economic paper from both Google Scholar and ISI WoS database, the number of authors, some citation metrics, H-index, authors’ provenience country, papers’ language, etc., have been presented and analysed. Also, a list with the most cited papers in the grey economic relational analysis, grey economic prediction models and grey economic incidence is putted forward. Practical implications – Through the bibliometric analysis on grey economic papers written over time, a qualitative analysis was performed on this field in order to underline the main research direction, to analyse what has been done in this field and to determine which can be the next research directions that can emerge from here. Originality/value – The paper succeeds in enlarging the view regarding the usage of grey systems theory in the economic field, offering a suitable analysis on the considered areas. Even though bibliometrics analysis have been conducted on the grey systems theory field, a grey economic bibliometric analysis has not been done yet, to the authors’ knowledge. Therefore, a synthesized of the existing literature attached to the grey economic system theory and applications is presented in order to offer a more comprehensive picture of the contribution brought by the researchers to this particular field.

Abstract:
In the post-Covid-19 era, tourism impacts and the role played by sustainable planning on the long-term success of destinations have gained renewed importance. Understanding the image and perceptions tourists hold of a destination is vital for tourism planning, as they play a key role in tourists’ decisions. Considering the importance of these two key concepts (perceptions and sustainability), the present paper contributes to the advancement of knowledge on sustainable tourism by characterizing the state of the art of Sustainability Perceptions in Tourism and Hospitality (SPTH). To this end, the scientific literature on the topic was mapped through a combination of three bibliometric analysis techniques, namely: evaluative, relational, and systematic bibliometric analysis. These were based on productivity and impact indicators, including SciVal topic prominence. The results reveal that sustainability perceptions in SPTH focus on tourists’, stakeholders’, and residents’ perceptions. These findings highlight the need for involving local communities in the destination planning process to align the outcomes of tourism development with their expectations. Finally, this paper presents an original methodological contribution, as it is the first to apply the SciVal topic prominence analysis to SPTH.

Abstract:
Information and communication technologies play a critical role in tourism, providing benefits such as improvement in tourism experiences, co-creation of value, and promotion of the marketing of relationships and phygital experiences, where online and offline environments are combined. In recent years, tourism planning and management through smart destinations has aroused great academic interest by including the dimensions of governance, sustainability, accessibility, innovation, and technology. This work aims to analyse and to visualize the scientific production associated with technology in the context of smart destinations. For this, evaluative and relational bibliometric analysis techniques were applied to the bibliographic data of 395 articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science up to September 2021. The results indicate that there is considerable growth and that a number of authors, countries, and leading institutions contribute significantly to scientific knowledge. In addition, using two bibliometric software tools, VOSviewer and SciMAT, a co-citation network of authors was built to describe their intellectual structure, and a keyword co-occurrence analysis was performed to identify the main thematic areas. The motor themes that drive the research are the conceptualization of tourist destinations, innovation, and data, while experience is a crosscutting theme. Additionally, some limitations and applications of the research are discussed, as well as the practical implications for destination management.

Abstract:
Turbulent and unstable times caused by the COVID-19 pandemic constitute specific training grounds as well as a stress test to verify in practice the validity of assumptions underlying the modern paradigms in management on the one hand, and to assess which factors contribute, or pose challenges and threats, to the resilience and sustainability of modern organizations on the other hand. Research was conducted among 990 Erasmus+ project leaders to assess to what extent the factors connected with the relational and networking characteristics of Erasmus+ projects, functioning as temporary organizations, facilitate the sustainability of European transnational cooperation projects in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion concentrates on the digital and social dimensions of transnational cooperation and places these dimensions in the broader context of relational view and network paradigm in the modern science of management as well as in the context of strategic management. Bibliometric analysis shows that no such research has been conducted so far. Researchers tend to analyze the impact of Erasmus+ projects on regional, national, and European communities but do not touch upon the aspects connected with the management of the projects themselves, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently, this research fills a research gap in this respect.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to analyze the evolution of the entrepreneurial characteristics parting from Kuratko and Hodgetts (1995) studies over these characteristics, from 1848 to 1982, seeking to respond to questions about how they evolved over time? which characteristics remained? which disappeared? and which emerged? To this end, a bibliographic and bibliometric research from 1983 to 2014 was carried, complementing, amplifying and comparing the findings of the original research. The bibliographic survey was made based on the keywords Entrepreneur, Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Characteristics, Entrepreneurial Attitudes and Entrepreneur Profile, and from the selection of articles published in the highest rated national journals according to the Qualis system, composed by Revista de Administração de Empresas - RAE, the Revista de Administração Contemporânea – RAC, the scientific events ENANPAD and EGEPE, and the EBSCO data base in order to access international scientific journals, namely: Applied Financial Economics; Applied Economics Letters; Management Research Review; Journal of Product Innovation Management; European Management Journal; Service Industries Journal; International Journal of Entrepreneurship Innovation Management; Entrepreneurship: Theory Practice; Journal of International Entrepreneurship; Management Decision; International Small Business Journal. This study characterized as bibliometrics, reviewed 288 articles published by 341 authors and points on their results to a lot more relational entrepreneurial profile, based on interpersonal and social skills and focused more on the demands of the external environment than on the self-centered, sovereign, autonomous and independent entrepreneur profile of the first phase of the twentieth century.

Abstract:
Purpose Effectively handling knowledge is crucial for any organization to survive and prosper in the turbulent environments of the modern era. Leadership is a central element for knowledge creation, acquisition, utilization and integration processes. Based on these considerations, this study aims to offer an overview of the evolution of the literature regarding the knowledge management-leadership relationship published over the past 20 years. Design/methodology/approach A bibliometric analysis coupled with a systematic literature review were performed over a data set of 488 peer-reviewed articles published from 1990 to 2018. Findings The authors discovered the existence of four well-polarized clusters with the following thematic focusses: human and relational aspects, systematic and performance aspects, contextual and contingent aspects and cultural and learning aspects. The authors then investigated each thematic cluster by reviewing the most relevant contributions within them. Research limitations/implications Based on the bibliometric analysis and the systematic literature review, the authors developed an interpretative framework aimed at uncovering several promising and little explored research areas, thus suggesting an agenda for future knowledge management-leadership research. Some steps of the paper selection process may have been biased by the interpretation of the researcher. The authors addressed this concern by performing a multiple human subject reading process whose reliability was confirmed by a Krippendorf’s alpha coefficient value >0.80. Originality/value To the best knowledge, this is the first study to map, systematize and discuss the literature concerned to the topic of the knowledge management-leadership relationship.

Abstract:
Sustainability reporting has become an increasingly common practice among companies around the globe as around 90% of the world’s 250 largest companies from Fortune 500 prepare and publish its sustainability reporting. Aiming to help researchers to grasp the intellectual landscape of global research on sustainable reporting, we conducted a bibliometric analysis using CiteSpace software by applying evaluative and relational techniques to 928 articles published in 480 different journals in Scopus and 698 articles published in 374 different journals in Web of Science Core Collection from 1981 to 2020. Our findings indicate that the number of articles published in the field has increased rapidly, especially since 2009. We identified the leading countries (the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands and Italy), the most prolific journals (Journal of Cleaner Production, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Business Ethics), main journals categories (Business, Economics, Management and Finance, Environmental and Ecology and Science, Technology and Engineering), and the major research directions in the near future (sustainability reporting, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, disclosure). From our findings we infer that the sustainability reporting research has just recently (2013-2019) gained traction in the literature. Moreover, our findings testify that a kind of bifurcation point has occurred is 2011 that manifests the maturity of the field of sustainability reporting. All this provides the reader with a high-view look at sustainable reporting as these quantitative findings complementing qualitative and providing valuable insights into the field.

Abstract:
The world’s cultural and natural heritage has been gradually affected by climate change, and although the research agendas of many countries have included this reality since 2003, there is still an incipient approach to it, with analysis techniques used being limited. In addition, there are very few case studies that describe in detail the adaptation processes of spaces to these new conditions. The aim of this research is to identify the scientific production related to the impact of climate change on cultural and natural heritage indexed in the international databases Scopus and Web of Science (WoS), which will enable to establish maturity of the research on this subject. The methodology used for the analysis of the data obtained is bibliometric analysis; evaluative and relational measures are applied to a set of 78 articles (45 in Scopus and 33 in WoS) and to a joint base of 47 articles after deleting those articles that overlap in both databases. The result is a scientific mapping that enables observing of the evolution of knowledge generation in this field of study. The main findings show that research is incipient, with a large presence of transient authors with a single publication, the research is limited to the geographical scope of Europe and North America, neglecting many other areas, the impact which is measured by the citation of articles is very low, the relational measures corroborate that the thematic approach is new by identifying a high presence of isolated relationships among authors. The results obtained will be very useful for researchers working in this scientific area, as they can find a synthesis of scientific production in this document, allowing them to draw their own conclusions regarding the current gaps in research; constituting the starting point of their research, with the aim of filling these gaps.

Abstract:
The sustainability approach applied to tourism has been taking shape as a dominant paradigm in tourism research, as well as becoming a requirement to achieve tourism competitiveness. This paper focuses specifically on the application of both concepts to protected areas, as tourist destinations. A bibliometric approach is adopted to provide information about the patterns and trends in the accumulation of knowledge related to this field, as well as to map its social, conceptual, and intellectual structure. Both evaluative and relational techniques are used to analyse the papers published until August 2019 and collected in the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases. The results indicate that the research field has experienced significant growth in the last decade, with institutions of the USA and Australia as stimuli of scientific progress in this field. This study finds eight thematic clusters, although there is subject dispersion within each cluster, linked to the emerging and multidisciplinary nature of the field. Based on the working lines open, the study also identifies possible future approaches, linked to the incorporation of the perspectives and objectives of the different stakeholders, and the development of indicators to monitor and control dimensions of interest.

Abstract:
The paper investigates the current state of studies on double-entry bookkeeping and ledgers in accounting through a bibliometric analysis covering the1990-2021period. The study allows an interpretation of accounting information systems as they evolve, due to the impetus of recent, disruptive information technology. The authors used a sample of 230 publications, collected from the Web of Sci-ence, and adopted VOSviewer software to illustrate different relational techniques: citation, co-citation, keyword co-occurrence, and bibliographic coupling analyses. The results highlight the emergence of recent research streams that are weakly connected to the foundation of modern accounting, albeit sharing the same roots with seminal historical accounting contributions in terms of trustworthiness, moral-ity, and communication. This study's main contribution, based on its findings, is a better understanding of the growing interest in double-entry bookkeeping and ledg-er, focusing on blockchain and its dimensions. Potentially, the study can shed light on the possible implications of new technologies for accounting and bookkeeping. The universality of accounting language is called upon to describe new "genealo-gies of calculation" by converging professional and academic efforts in a field that can benefit extensively from a transdisciplinary approach to research.

Abstract:
Context: The new generation of immunoenhancers will have to offer solutions to each clinical and technological limitation that currently exists. This innovative context requires periodic technological surveillance by the veterinary biopharmaceutical industry to anticipate technological changes and predict future competitive advantages. Aims: To evaluate the current status, scientific trends, and technological projections in the use of veterinary immunological adjuvants for productive and companion species in the period 2015 and 2021. Methods: The bibliometric analysis included scientific articles on adjuvants in veterinary medicine published in English in 2015–2021 and indexed on the Scopus and Web of Science platforms. All relevant records retrieved between 2015 and 2022 were grouped using the EndNote bibliographic manager, while the analysis of the relational metric indicator was performed and viewed by VOSviewer®. Instead, data on the main commercial veterinary vaccine adjuvants in 2022 were collected from the official websites of 20 veterinary vaccine manufacturers with experience in the market. Results: The academy dedicated 68.2% of its production to disseminating articles with original experimental results with 73.6% being novel notifications about adjuvants of natural, microbial and nanotechnological origin. Industrial production mainly used monoadjuvation (86.9%), inorganic salts adjuvants (48.1%), particularly aluminum hydroxide (43.0%), and classical technology (89.2%) to produce their commercial formulations. Ruminants, swines, and poultry dominated both sectors, with ruminants being the main protagonist. Conclusions: The new scientific knowledge will not have a significant impact on the veterinary pharmaceutical industry in the short term and the hegemonic continuity of traditional adjuvants, in particular aluminum hydroxide, is expected.

Abstract:
This article uses bibliometric analysis to track the breadth and depth of the concept of New Public Management as it has developed in the 25 years since the coining of the term, in order to provide a deeper understanding of how academics have engaged with the subject. The article uses bibliometric and qualitative analysis to map the use of the concept as a whole and over time, and the use of bibliometrics provides an original, methodical and quantitative way of analysing the usage and movement of New Public Management as a concept. It looks at the breadth of the literature in terms of whether it has spread to new journals or academic disciplines and depth in terms of whether articles on New Public Management engage with new research on the subject. It is shown that the breadth of the literature has increased, but there has been no significant deepening. By providing an overarching view of New Public Management as a concept, this article allows for more systematic academic engagement with the concept, leading to a deeper research agenda that goes beyond its current somewhat limited usage.

Abstract:
The reliable assessment of individual faculty members’ contributions is a key challenge in the governance of research institutions. Traditionally, scientific impact is estimated based on bibliographic analyses. With online platforms, particularly social media, gaining popularity among academics, new opportunities for the analysis of scientific impact arise. Proponents of the “altmetrics” approach hold that both general purpose social media and services tailored to the scientific community allow for a range of usage metrics that may inform scientific impact assessment. We propose that relational analyses of social media platforms may shed new light on these understudied dimensions of scientific impact and may enrich assessment efforts. Based on a sample of Swiss management scholars’ active on ResearchGate, we conduct a social network analysis, derive relational metrics, and correlate these metrics with bibliometrics, webometrics, and altmetrics to gauge their potential to inform scientific impact assessment, specifically in business and management research.

Abstract:
For years, human resources management has been considered a relevant factor to improve the levels of performance and competitiveness of organizations. Therefore, it has increasingly captured the attention of researchers at a global level. This paper aims to analyze such context in Ibero-America from a bibliometric perspective – the construction of knowledge in the field of human resources management and organizational performance. With that purpose, articles published in the main collection of Web of Science between the years 2010-2020 are analyzed with the help of Bibliometrix and VOSviewer. The results show that Spanish, Brazilian, and Portuguese researchers are the most productive of the group, and that Brazilians are equally the most influential. Likewise, there is a low participation of Latin American authors in prestigious international journals, and little cooperation with the most prestigious universities worldwide. The paper concludes that, in general, when compared to global production, Ibero-American production is still marginal, pointing to a challenge for these authors, especially for Latin Americans. This is a pioneering study, the first attempting to characterize Ibero-American scientific production in the field of human resources management and organizational performance.

Abstract:
This issue of Cuadernos de Administración by the Faculty of Administration Sciences of the Universidad del Valle, allows us to come closer to its 45th year of existence. Throughout this time, we have tried to publish different types of scientific research, review, or reflection papers by national and international authors who have relied on us to disseminate their knowledge. To every one of them, our authors, our referees, the members of the Editorial and Scientific Committees, but especially our readers, we would like to thank them for allowing us to continue, through digitalization, to bring a more significant impact on the sciences of administration. In the 66th issue, thirteen scientific papers have been published. The arbitration process guarantees the quality of the authors and their contributions in Spanish or English, to make a publication 100% in English, in the pursuit of higher knowledge dissemination. In this sense, we put to our readers’ consideration the editorial process undertaken in this issue, in the hope that its content will be a support or become a starting point for new discussions and concerns in their reflections and research, or that, if applicable, it will allow in future reviews or translations into other languages. The first article in this issue, entitled “Characterization and determinants of organizational satisfaction in Mexican SME workers,” by using quantitative methods, attempts to build a model to understand organizational satisfaction from variables related to job satisfaction through a survey to 646 workers, of both sexes and between the ages of 18 and 70, in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). “Management of Corporate Social Responsibility in Project Management: Theoretical Approach” is the title of the second paper, and it aims to conduct a theoretical discussion on social responsibility within the framework of project management. The methodology defines the steps taken by the researchers to achieve presenting elements and conclusions from the different theoretical approaches found. The third article “Coordinating sustainability, globalization and urban intelligence with Habitat III and SDG-2030 agendas: the challenge of sustainable urban development in cities”, is the result of research in 83 cities where, using the correspondence analysis technique, the authors analyzed around urban development, globalization, urban intelligence and sustainability, and whether these relate to sustainable development and habitat goals. The fourth article, “Trust as a mechanism to improve performance in organizations,” includes a relational model between employee trust in the organization and company performance, as mediated by an organizational commitment to learning and employee commitment to the company. Using quantitative methods, through a 31-item survey applied to 161 individuals from different organizations in the southwestern region of Colombia, the relationship between competencies and skills management and the performance of organizations is analyzed. In the fifth paper, the authors investigate the concept of productivity in the context of knowledge workers. As a method, they applied interviews to a group of managers and workers from organizations in the knowledge-intensive services sector and ultimately raise some challenges. The title of this article is “Work Productivity Management in Knowledge Intensive Service Companies: Considerations and Challenges.” “Impact of economic internationalization policies in Colombia, Peru, and Chile,” is the sixth scientific research paper, where, from a mixed approach paired with documentary analysis of the different government plans and categories of export development, integration agreements, and institutional development, and by analyzing quantitative variables from GDP, exports and trade balance, the authors analyze how trade policies and integration in Colombia, Chile and Peru impacted their international trade in the period from 1980 to 2017. The seventh article in our 66th issue is called “Financing decisions in the creative and cultural SMEs of Bogotá, Colombia.” Through a survey, the authors compare assumptions from financial theories in cultural and creative SMEs in Bogotá, finding some factors that drive their financial decision-making.Using linear regressions, the authors compared the influence of social networks in the self-perception of the academic performance of a group of university students in Mexico and Spain. The findings show differences in both countries. “Social networks and academic performance self-perception in business sciences students” is the title of the paper mentioned above. The ninth article is entitled “Social norms and entrepreneurial intent in university researchers in Colombia.” Therein, the authors, using quantitative methods, propose relationships between social norms, among other variables, and entrepreneurial intent when conducting a survey on peer reviewers at Colciencias and the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The results account for the relationships found, which a literature review supports. In the paper “Sociological ambivalence in three Latin American corporate control institutions: Tax Inspectorate (Colombia), Statutory Examiner (Mexico) and Statutory Audit (Argentina),” the authors propose some contradictions present in corporate control and do so from the theoretical framework of sociological ambivalence. Qualitative content analysis is used to approach the institutions studied. The paper “Reflections towards Responsible Tourism in the Framework of Social Responsibility” aims to present Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) elements in the context of the hotel subsector, based on literature documentary analysis, to propose improvements in social responsibility practices in the sector.“Investment projects: definition from the perspective of processes” is the title of a paper that presents an analysis of the definition of investment projects from the perspectives of the subject, method, and object of intervention in order to identify their relationship with the improvement of processes. Among the findings, it is evident that most of the definitions are framed within the method or form of intervention. Our last paper in this issue is a review. It carries the title “Shared value: a bibliometric review of literature from the approaches of strategy, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholders,” where the authors conduct research based on a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis, and focus on the evolution of the concept of shared value, presenting elements from its proposal and some current tendencies. The content of each paper is the sole responsibility of their authors. This issue presents a new opportunity for the national and international scientific community to judge the outcome in each of these proposals. We hope you will continue to accompany us as readers of our scientific journal.
