Abstract:
Purpose – This paper seeks to describe the work of Ian Macneil, a legal scholar advocating the use of relational contract theory and behavioral norms to evaluate exchange relations in business. The aim is to show through bibliometric and comparative analyses that Macneil has influenced management scholarship and dialogue about relational contract theory to an extent not recognized by management scholars. Design/methodology/approach – Evidence of impact is evaluated through a bibliometric analysis of primary and secondary citations. This is followed by a comparison of Macneil's theory with four theories – integrated social contract theory, stakeholder theory, transaction cost theory, and rational choice theory. Findings – Results indicate that Macneil has had a substantial impact on researchers working in different business disciplines, from marketing to economics and management. Bibliometric analysis reveals that his work is widely cited, suggesting that Macneil's contribution extends beyond legal scholarship to influence business scholarship. Research limitations/implications – Implications are that Macneil's relational contract theory should be considered when developing frameworks for guiding research on workplaces that are increasingly relational, connected and global. This is especially relevant in cases where workplace exchange appears on the surface to be non-contractual and based on societal customs and norms. Originality/value – This paper recognizes the work of a major legal scholar in the formulation and discussion of relational contract theory in business scholarship. It introduces concepts that can support and act as a guide for future research on forms of relational exchange and recognizes the importance of Ian Macneil's work in supporting that research stream.

Abstract Purpose - Organizations have an important role in human life. Some of the important roles include being a place for activities, work, increasing knowledge and abilities, and achieving the targets and/or goals of the organization itself. Further research is to review how important organizational sustainability is and to find out how far an organization is able to survive in the midst of global competition. Design/methodology/approach - This study uses the Scopus metric as an Evaluation Technique where for research on Sustainability from 2020 and 2022 the highest in this research is sustainability. The relational bibliometric network visualization technique draws a global representation of the concepts and their relationships,Bibliometric Density visualization relational techniques show little research. and Relational Bilbliometric Techniques Visualization Ovelay Visualization shows new and old research, Findings and Discussion –The results of mapping using the Scopus metric are from 2020 and 2022 where the highest in this research is sustainability. Bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer with the type of analysis "co-occurrence" with the unit of analysis "author keywords" and the choice of visualization display results "density visualization", shows that sustainability has a greater link strength value. In the "overlay visualization" display, the results show that if the color is brighter or more yellow, then the keyword is the latest or most recent research. Conclusion - Organization is an institution or group that is consciously coordinated, and relatively continuous to achieve a common goal that has been set.Relational Bibliometric Visualization Techniques Ovelay Visualization depicts that the darker the color means the research has been done for a long time, the lighter the color, the newer the research is. The "overlay visualization" technique shows that the brighter or yellower the color, the more recent or recent the research

Abstract:
This is an application of the mathematical and statistical techniques of bibliometrics to the field of crystallography. This study is, however, restricted to inorganic compounds. The data were taken from the Inorganic Crystal Structure Database, which is a well defined and evaluated body of literature and data published from 1913 to date. The data were loaded in a relational database system, which allows a widespread analysis. The following results were obtained: The cumulative growth rate of the number of experimentally determined crystal structures is best described by a third-degree polynomial function. Except for the upper end of the curve, Bradford's plot can be described well by the analytical Leimkuhler function. The publication process is dominated by a small number of periodicals. The probability of the author productivity in terms of publications follows an inverse power law of the Lotka form and in terms of database entries an inverse power law in the Mandelbrot form. In both cases the exponent is about 1.7. For the lower tail of the data an exponential correction factor has to be applied. Multiple authorship has increased from 1.4 authors per publication to about four within the past eight decades. The author distribution itself is represented by a lognormal distribution.

Abstract:
This article exposes the formulation of a relational model that allows in any type of organization the practical development of the concepts proposed by the theory of Dynamic Capabilities, to be integrated as a management strategy that allows for increasing the levels of competitiveness and business survival, for which a qualitative study was carried out under the methodology of bibliometric analysis and documentary review of more than 500 relevant scientific documentary sources through an analytical and interpretive synthesis of the most significant arguments. Among the most important results of this study, it stands out the power to establish the most representative results of recent years, a relational model that identifies each of the steps and key factors that any type of organization must develop, to achieve the postulates that it exposes. The theory of dynamic capabilities is based on concepts such as organizational learning, absorbing knowledge, innovation, value-added, adaptability, business competitiveness, internationalization, and survival.

Abstract:
Social dimension is a fundamental element in the evaluation of initiatives and policies that are demanded and promoted by public and private organizations as well as society as a whole. Thus, there is a thriving interest in social impact research, especially from the point of view of its measurement and valuation. In this work, we explored the rising attention on the concept of social impact to identify salient agents in the field and categorize the conceptual structure of research. To achieve this, we used evaluative and relational techniques combining traditional bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer and a text mining analysis based on natural processing language (NLP) to search for documents with the term “social impact” in the title. The documents were extracted from the database Web of Science (WoS) for the period of 1938–2020. As a result, we mapped the concept of social impact from up to 1677 documents, providing an overview of the topics in which the concept was used (e.g., health, finance, environment and development, etc.) and the trends of research. This work seeks to serve as a roadmap that reflects not only the evolution of social impact but also future lines of research that require attention.

Abstract:
This article empirically provides a global overview of physical literacy, which allows for the understanding of the structure of the epistemic community studying literacy for healthy living. Publications registered in the Web of Science are analyzed using bibliometrics (spatial, productive, and relational) based on data from 391 records, published between 2007 and April 2022, applying five bibliometric laws and using VOSviewer software for data and metadata processing and visualization. In terms of results, we observe an exponential increase in scientific production in the last decade, with a concentration of scientific discussion on physical literacy in seven journals; a production distributed in 46 countries situated on the five continents, but concentrated in Canada and the United States; co-authored research networks composed of 1256 researchers but with a production concentrated of around 2% of these, and an even smaller number of authors with high production and high impact. Finally, there are four thematic blocks that, although interacting, constitute three specific knowledge production communities that have been delineated over time in relation to health and quality of life, fitness and physical competence, education, and fundamental movement skills.

Abstract:
A sociologically integrated approach suggesting an interpretation of bibliometric indicators and maps is developed in this work. The programmatic element of the thesis is the integration of the constructivist perspective relating to the re-production of scientific community with the metric program in Bibliometrics. The accomplishment of the main purposes introduced above is realised through the following goals, which can be listed according to the level of generality. First of all, this work aims to demonstrate the potentialities of a proposal in the field of citation theory which encompasses different and divergent perspectives as it is based on the integration of structural-functionalist and constructivist approaches. More specifically, this proposal is applied to the field of Scientometrics, where the lack of a theoretical frame for interpreting bibliometric indicators as well as bibliometric maps constitutes a real problem as we are witnessing the affirmation of what can be called the “metric era”: as a matter of fact, like it or not, bibliometric measures and analyses are more and more important for scientists’ career. The purpose of providing a description of the intellectual and cognitive structure of the scientific field of Italian Sociology allows us, at the same time, to test the reliability of those bibliometric techniques employed in the empirical work here presented. In particular, we are testing the effectiveness of Bibliometrics in mapping scientific literature, as well as the effectiveness of the normative approach in describing citers’ behaviour with reference to high citation counts.

Relational Frame Theory (RFT) was proposed by Steven Hayes and Aaron Brownstein in 1985. Only in 2001 the first book whose content was exclusively dedicated to present RFT proposal and application fields was released. Inspired by research on stimulus equivalence and operant understanding of language RFT proponents argue that verbal behavior is closely related to a high order operant strengthened since early childhood via multiple exemplars training. This operant - arbitrarily applicable relational responding is defined by the properties of mutual implication, combinatorial implication, and transformation of stimuli function. RFT has received criticism directed to iits philosophical foundations, theoretical assumptions and regarding methodological research practices that guarantee its empirical support. This study aimed to review the empirical literature produced in the light of the RFT analyzing bibliometric aspects (year of publication, authors, affiliation of authors, journals, journals´ relevancy rates), methodological aspects (participants´ age, diagnosis and education, type and site of application, material and equipment used, relational frame employed, experimental task and measurement used) and trials to comprehend phenomena traditionally explore by other areas of knowledge/research lines/theories. 85 articles published between 1991 and May 2013 were reviewed. The Psychological Record led publications (42 articles). Studies majority employed participants from 18 years old onwards. Only 8% considered participants with psychiatric diagnosis. Just one publication was conducted in a group setting. Great part of the studies used computerized tasks. In terms of relational frames 68 studies investigated coordinated relations. 53 publications employed simultaneous matching-to-sample procedure. Between 1991 and 2001 there were nine studies that combined at least two measures but between 2006 and May 2013 there were 35. We found articles in which phenomena traditionally explored by areas such as philosophy, heuristic, clinics, theory of mind, neuroscience, among others, were discussed. Results show that RFT researchers produced empirical data through a variety of methodological conditions. However, we didn´t find evidence on non-human subjects or studies which assessed results in terms of sociodemographic variables or number of training and testing trials

Abstract:
Export performance is an important research part of export study. Extensive empirical research has been carried out to identify and study the determinant factors of successful export performance. The factors associated with the three major axes of organizational, environmental, and managerial factors in the work of (Leonidou et al. 2002). The research aims to find how export performance is affected by environmental, organizational, managerial factors, especially, the psychic business distance and cultural distance, relationship management, international business travel, firms’ financial capabilities and complementary capabilities, specially, psychic distance – the extent to which the norms and values of two countries differ (Ford,1984, p. 102), when it comes to the potential interplay between business distance and cultural distance with managerial factors. The other observation is that international business depends gradually on transmitting complex information through vis-à-vis communication (Cristea, 2011). Companies vary in their performance because they use their resources in different ways (Shuleska et al. 2016). International business travel plays very important role in export business, especially for wine business, as the export managers practice ritual international business travel to meet the overseas prospective customers, organize wine tasting, participate in international wine fairs. Nevertheless, up to now, we have known very little about the impact of such travel on export performance.Hence, the thesis is organized as follows.First, we present a bibliometric study by analyzing 1344 publications from 1900 to 2019. Second, we examine the interacting effect of the two forms of psychic distance (business and cultural) on export relationship management. Specifically, this research examines the moderating role of cultural distance in the effect of business distance on different dimensions of relationship management and financial export performance. This research builds on a sample of 174 French export executives who were asked to rate their views of their relationship with their Chinese business counterpart in the wine trade, and their related performance. Third, we examine the impact of international business travel on export performance by integrating organizational factors (annual turnover) and strategic management (complementary capability) into the analysis with equally 174 French wine exporting firms. The systematic bibliometric study and two empirical studies reveal meaningful results which shed light on the export literature study and provides numerous contributions on the theoretical, methodological, and managerial levels related to export performance

Abstract:
This paper has been developed in the frame of the research project “V:ALERE 2019” focused on Italian public-owned Academic Medical Centers. The main aim of the project is to provide evidence, advice, and remarks to help the agents of the public health system to address the many challenges that they face. In recent years, there is an increasing recognition of the potential value of research evidence as one of the many factors considered by policymakers and practitioners. Even more, in the case of medical science, the analysis of research and its impact is indispensable, in light of its implications for public health. The starting point for mapping a research area is to review the related scientific literature because by synthesizing past research findings, it is possible to effectively use the existing knowledge base and advance lines of future researches. In this sense, bibliometrics becomes useful, by providing a structured analysis to a large body of information, to infer trends over time, themes researched, and to show the “big picture” of extant research. In particular, in this work, we focus our attention on the scientific production of the last 20 years of the Scientific Institutes for Research, Hospitalization, and Healthcare (IRCCS “Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico”) specialized in the oncology research. IRCCS are biomedical institutions of relevant national interest that drive clinical assistance in strong relation to research activities. They are committed to being a benchmark for the whole public health system for both the quality of patient care and the innovation skills in the field of the organization. All the analyses were carried out by using the Bibliometrix, an open-source tool for quantitative research in scientometrics and bibliometrics that includes all the main bibliometric methods of analysis.

Abstract:
AbstractWe examine the main existing challenges that currently arise in the assessment of European Union (EU) funds devoted to three thematic objectives (TOs): Research and Innovation (R&I); Low-carbon economy (LCE); and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). In this regard, a literature review on the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) initiatives is performed, with a special focus on the Portuguese (PT) case, also addressing their assessment and reporting practices. Data systematization is coupled with the European Commission (EC)’s main guidelines and with the guidance recommendations brought by Management authorities (MA) for the 2014–2020 period. A bibliometric analysis is conducted to further understand the current research interest in the evaluation of EU funds, and the type of assessment methods and reporting practices employed. Most of the approaches rely on cost–benefit analysis and place less attention on data availability, variable selection, and monitoring/assessment options. The selection and application of the framework indicators, either related to their financial execution or achievement, are assumed as critical factors concerning the monitoring, reporting, and assessment processes. Our findings emphasize the need for harmonization and simplification of the reporting techniques, also highlighting the sparse data availability and some reporting conflicts.

Abstract:
Structural equation modeling (SEM), especially partial least squares path modeling (PLS-PM) has become a mainstream method in many fields of research. In the last years it has been increasingly disseminated in a variety of disciplines. The researchers have been promoting this new statistical methods for the evaluation of policies. Generally, policy evaluation applies evaluation principles and methods to examine the content, implementation or impact of a policy. To better understand and characterize this trend, a bibliometric study of international papers on this subject has been developed in order to describe the use of SEM and PLS-PM approaches in the policy evaluation in the almost last 20 years. A total of 450 articles from 2000 to 2020 have been selected and analyzed in order to discover the research trends in this field and the main dimensions and words related to the terms “decision making” and “SEM-PLS” approach, that are most commonly employed in the scientific literature. The research has been conducted in theWeb of Science from ISI Web of Knowledge database and Scopus database, with the aim of identifying the major themes, authors, areas, types of the sources, titles, years of publication and countries of these publications, as well as the main themes related to the two topic analyzed

AbstractThis chapter will focus on geographical contributions to tourism studies in Nordic scholarship. The chapter provides a thematised overview of the ways in which tourism dynamics and developments have been understood and researched by Nordic geographers. The themes are drawn from a bibliometric analysis and are arranged around the key geographical concepts of place, space and time. As such the chapter is not aspiring to provide a comprehensive listing of, or detailing all Nordic geographers who have addressed issues of tourism, nor exhaustively cover all topics, but to gauge the socio-spatial articulations of tourism studies in Nordic geography. Part one will look at how places are articulated as sites of tourism experiences, social relations and tourism industry dynamics in Nordic geography. Part two will look at how spatial flows and global ideas constitutive of tourism destinations are understood. Part three will focus on how Nordic tourism geography scholarship has developed through and on what looks to be promising future oriented studies therein. As such the chapter will contribute to the theorisations of geography and the development of socio-spatial theories within Nordic geography from a tourism studies perspective.

Abstract:
AbstractWith a significantly changing global climate and related impacts on our societies becoming increasingly visible, the call for a significant change of the energy production and consumption system gets increasing attention. Defined as energy transition, such change involves at least two dimensions: one technological and one social. Especially the latter is gaining importance because it is argued that the impact of technological innovation could be limited, if not harmful, if the technological would not be matched with social innovation. This refers to the emergence of decentralized energy systems at the local scale, and the increased involvement of non-state actors in shaping the transition, like civil society, business, and local public authorities. It includes new forms of governance, ranging from energy communities to the design of urban living labs. This work aims to provide the first insights for the further development of a theoretical framework in relation to governance and social innovation in the context of energy transition. It builds on a bibliometric quantitative analysis to explore the extent to which changes in energy governance are reflected in the scientific literature. Results indicate that energy governance issues have quite settled in the scientific literature across the world, but that social innovation is only a recently emerging topic. A snapshot interpretive analysis is then performed to get a better understanding of what types of energy governance and social innovations are addressed. These mostly refer to energy communities and organization types related to the use of renewable energies (e.g., cooperatives and public–private partnerships), as well as obstacles and opportunities that drive their implementation. A keyword analysis is used to get the first indications on the direction of the discussion. Generally, this seems rather heterogeneous, though most often it is related to urban development and cities, as well as in relation to the planning practice. Future research should extend and carry out further in-depth analysis of the preliminary insights outlined in this work.

Abstract:
This chapter describes the author's experience of building the research environment for the implementation of bibliometric research on the science of mining, being developed in Poland in 1945-1989, on the basis of periodicals published by the major technical universities involved in teaching and research in that field at that time. The study was conducted on the volume of data entered (by typing), collected, and processed in a relational database. The data, covering information of more than 36,000 articles and more than 22,000 authors, formed bibliographic database named “GRUBA” (an acronym for polish phrase “Mining Register Enabling Bibliometric Analysis” and a word meaning mine in the Silesian dialect as well). The aim of this chapter is not to present a comprehensive and extensive bibliometric research results. Only a small part of it is a background for presenting the experience gained during the implementation of research, with the primary emphasis on the final stages – modeling and analyzing the visual maps created mainly using Gephi software and representing science development.

Abstract:
The authors discuss the problem of publications by editorial board members in their parent journal with relation to bibliometrics and publication ethics. This issue is of the same nature as self-citedness. However, while self-citedness is classified, its motivation factors are defined, and recommendations are provided for the ethical thresholds, the problem of publishing in parent journals is still awaiting thorough investigation. The authors propose to categorize publishing in the parent journal. The ethical aspects and criteria are discussed, and a new bibliometric index – editorial board-parent journal publications coefficient is proposed to be introduced.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to investigate the literature that relates innovation and entrepreneurship for its recognized contribution to the economy. In this article a bibliometric analysis of the research on this topic extracted from the main collection of the Web of Science (WoS) database from 2000 to 2020 is carried out, obtaining 1785 documents. The main of the bibliometric method is to perform, through BibExcel and VOSviewer software, a trend analysis, a study of the general and annual structure of citations, to present the advances associated with the main authors, journals and most relevant countries and to analyze their evolution over time and identify key research topics to contribute to the development of this field. In addition, this study will analyze co-citations, bibliographic couplings, co-occurrences and co-authorships, among others. The results show that the publication trend increases considerably from 2010, and it is, in the last years 2019 and 2020, when the highest production of articles has been registered. In relation to the most publishing countries, the United States, China, England and Spain are among the most representative. It is also found that the most influential journals in this field are Small Business Economics and Journal of Business Research. This systematic mapping of the field helps to illustrate the evolution of research over time, identify areas of current interest for use in theoretical and empirical frameworks, and provide, thanks to its findings, a solid roadmap for future research by detecting potential directions.

Abstract:
Safety and health aspects are part of the strategic planning of contemporary organizations. These aspects must be observed and implemented in the day-to-day work and in all the products and goods developed by the organizations. The construction industry, as part of this contemporary organizational reality, increasingly adopts related practices to improve safety at the construction site. However, unlike traditional industrial sectors, the construction industry has specificities that also take it systematically among the most dangerous industrial sectors to work. This article presents an analysis of the scientific production on occupational safety and health management – OSHM, with focus on civil construction, specifically at the construction sites level. Throughout a systematic mapping study protocol, 108 published researches were collected by Web of Science. Using software and tools for bibliometric analyses, this article shows the main researches, authors, countries and institutions of research, the publication and dissemination platforms and the possible relations between the researches, researchers and subjects.

Abstract:
From time immemorial, the oceans, seas and their coasts have been the cradle of human civilization and still play a vital role in the lives of millions of people, indirectly affecting all of humanity. The phenomenon of coastalization suggests that our reliance on and dependence from marine and maritime sectors will grow, and their sustainable development is a topical challenge. The Blue growth strategy addresses this issue on a Pan-European level, fostering research and innovation with regards to marine environments. Building on the conceptual grounds of knowledge and innovation studies, we hypothesize that countries and regions within a common sea basin will achieve the highest efficiency in research collaboration and knowledge exchange. By using bibliometric data from the Scopus abstract and citation database, we track scholarly output, co-authorship, and citations in the framework of the Blue growth strategy affiliated to the institutions of the Baltic Sea basin. The visualization of the research landscape is done in VOSviewer software at the level of bibliographic coupling, cocitation, and co-authorship relations. Our study evaluates maritime research networks and knowledge flows between the coastal cities of the Baltic Sea basin countries. Findings suggest that sea-related challenges act as an integrating factor in research, driving cooperative initiatives in achieving sustainable development at the macro-region with that solving national objectives.
