Abstract:
This paper proposes a strategic behavior categorization between the contractor and the provider in information technology (IT) outsourcing. We identified four behaviors (or attitudes) focusing specifically on the contractors’ attitudes: (a) conservative, (b) collaborative, (c) opportunistic, and (d) transformational. Theoretical concepts from IT Outsourcing, Relational Governance, and Knowledge Transfer were used to derive the study hypotheses. A questionnaire was developed to collect the information to test the hypotheses. An empirical analysis of a sample of 247 Brazilian companies was used, supporting the grouping of the companies as follows: 38.49% of them had the conservative attitude; 29.14% of them had the collaborative attitude; 14.97% of them had the opportunistic attitude; and 17.40% of them had the transformational attitude. We found that the relational attitudes should be adjusted to the individual contractors’ conditions, specific characteristics, and sectors. Our results also emphasize that the type of outsourced activity (traditional or customized) enables the managers to identify the need to balance the participation in relational governance. This study brings innovations to the understanding of the importance of the relationship between the contractor and the supplier, supporting, for example, the prioritization of new relational profiles according to the level of the IT service that was contracted, whether it is traditional or customized.

Abstract:
Counselor educators and mental health counselors often have a lukewarm attitude toward counseling research and evidence-based practice. This attitude may be because of a perceived mismatch between evidence-based technical procedures and the relational orientation that most counselors value. To warm up mental health counselors' attitudes toward evidence-based research and practice, we propose a relationally oriented research agenda that focuses on integrating evidence-based relationship factors (EBRFs) into counselor training and practice. Eight EBRFs are defined and operationalized, and specific counselor behaviors are described. Reframing and refocusing counseling research on relational variables has the potential to support current counseling practices and inspire development of a counseling-specific research base. Recommendations for a rapprochement between counselor education research and mental health counseling practice are offered, including a list of brief measures that mental health counselors could introduce into their counseling practice.

Abstract:
Studies on evaluative conditioning show that a change in liking can occur whenever stimuli are paired. Such instances of attitude change are known to depend on the type of relation established between stimuli (e.g., “Bob is a friend of Mike” vs. “Bob is an enemy of Mike”). Research has so far only compared assimilative and contrastive relational qualifiers (e.g., friend vs. enemy). For the first time, we compared the effect of nonoppositional qualifiers on attitude change in an evaluative conditioning procedure (e.g., “Bob causes Positive Outcomes” vs. “Bob predicts Positive Outcomes”). Differential effects of nonoppositional relational qualifiers were observed on explicit and implicit evaluations. We discuss the implications of our findings for attitude research, theories of attitude change, and optimizing evaluative conditioning for changing attitudes in applied settings.

Abstract:
Relational sociology rejects substantialism and focuses its attention on the complexity and dynamics of all forms of social life and the subjective nature of action. Relational thinking is an alternative attitude to both functional structuralism and strongly individualistic-oriented theories. Relationality emphasizes the processual and emergent nature of reality. Actions— individual and collective—appear as successive stages of a specific process of events, and result from the configuration of relations and social interactions constituting a particular situation. Different conceptions of identity have been developed within relationally oriented sociology. The aim of the article is to summarize the narrative and realistic approaches, and to present how much they differ in their ontological assumptions. The constructionist concept of narrative identity presented by Margaret R. Somers, and Kenneth J. Gergen’s project of a “relational self,” illustrate the narrative approach. Pierpaolo Donati’s concept of the relational subject and the theory of agency developed by Margaret S. Archer exemplify the position of critical realism.

Abstract:
Contemporary relational psychoanalytic theory provides new opportunities in the dialogue between psychology and religion. This article suggests three examples. First, by seeing the self as inherently interrelated and by underscoring the importance of experience, relational psychoanalysis creates the possibility of a more open attitude toward religious experience. Second, a relational understanding of human nature potentially contains new resources for theological reflection. Third, this shift leads psychoanalysis to focus on how religious forms embody various relational themes. The article concludes by presenting a case which illustrates a contemporary relational approach to religious material.

Abstract:
Biology course can be difficult for students at times as it includes a lot of concepts and a relatively intense content. At this point, students’ attitude towards biology and biology course is highly important because having developed a positive attitude would significantly affect behavior. In other words, those students who have developed a positive attitude towards biology and biology course are expected to be more interested in class, more enthusiastic for learning, and as a result more successful. In this research, the gender and grade level variables as well as the pet-keeping variable were examined. The effects of these variables on the attitudes of secondary school students towards biology and biology course were examined by MANOVA. The sample of the research, which was designed in a relational survey model, consisted of 1047 secondary school students. In the collection of data, “Secondary School Students’ Attitude towards Biology and Biology Course Scale” was used. It was concluded that students who keep a pet have a more affirmative attitude. It was determined that female students have a more affirmative attitude compared to male students and 9th graders have a more affirmative attitude compared to students in other grade levels. Finally, it has been discussed why female students', pet keeping students' and lower grade students' attitudes towards biology and biology course are more affirmative, and suggestions for increasing students' attitudes have been developed. Keywords: attitude towards biology, biology course, secondary school students, pet-keeping behavior.

Abstract:
Even though the adopted teaching-learning approaches and the curricula that are based on them are subject to change in an educational institution, teaching competencies and attitudes determine the basic quality of the educational system. The study mainly intends to determine the relationship between levels of teacher candidates' attitude to teaching and levels of their teaching-learning competencies. This study has a survey design as it identifies teacher candidates' attitudes toward the profession and teaching-learning process competencies, and a relational survey design as it explores whether attitudes toward the profession and teaching-learning competencies correlate or not. As the study aims to make a comparison between social sciences and science-math fields, the data was collected from 387 teacher candidates, whose subject fields can be grouped within these two areas. The data was collected through "Attitude to Teaching Profession Scale" and "Teaching Learning Process Competencies Scale". The results revealed that teacher candidates have a positive attitude towards the teaching profession and teaching competencies at high levels. In addition, it was found that teacher candidates' positive attitude correlates significantly with their teaching-learning competencies.

Abstract:
Purpose While much has been debated about venture formation and demise, the behavioral dynamics of why entrepreneurs intend to continue and persevere post-startup have received scant attention and scrutiny. Building upon the rich tapestry of entrepreneurial cognition, the purpose of this paper is to forward entrepreneurial continuance logic as a theoretical framework to empirically investigate the antecedents, contingencies and mediators of entrepreneurial continuance. Design/methodology/approach Using observations from surveying 156 practicing entrepreneurs across the USA, UK, South Africa and India, this research offers interesting findings. Findings Results surface attitudinal tensions between the transactional attitudes of entrepreneurial climate, entrepreneurial responsiveness and calculative commitment and the relational attitudes of affective and normative continuance. Specifically, the authors find that affect is the strongest direct predictor of continuance intentions but only in the absence of entrepreneurial responsiveness behavior. Research limitations/implications Entrepreneurial responsiveness, rather than commitment, is found to be a core continuance constituent, traceable as a positive influence on continuance as a direct antecedent, a moderator and a mediator. Practical implications The research reveals that entrepreneurs willing to seize and adapt to a changing entrepreneurial landscape are more like to continue with their ventures, but not just driven by strict underpinnings of affect and norms but by a strong sense of economic rationality. Social implications Entrepreneurial continuance is an important behavioral phenomenon with substantial socio-economic consequences. Given the scant attention paid to entrepreneurial continuance – symptomatic of broader downstream effects of entrepreneurial survival and positive socio-economic spillovers, the authors embark on a systematic investigation of continuance intention as post-startup behavior. Originality/value The paper explains post-startup entrepreneurial behavior in several ways. First, while affective commitment, a relational attitude, still drives continuance intentions, calculative commitment, a transactional attitude, is a significant contender. Interestingly, the nature of contemporary entrepreneurship disregards continuance behavior based on norms. Second, entrepreneurial responsiveness needs to be cautiously examined in relationship to commitment and continuance. Entrepreneurial responsiveness, a transactional attitude, positively influences continuance; however, in the presence of a relational attitude such as affective commitment, the interplay reduces continuance intentions. Third, perceptions of entrepreneurial climate are found to trigger more opportunity-seeking behavior among entrepreneurs, which in turn increases an entrepreneur’s intention to continue.

Abstract:
This article describes how relational models permit explaining cognizance courses or cognitive successes by progress chances. Yet, growth and progress develop along finite trends: men's acquired science tells us that the universe suffers entropy. Global ecology appears to be different alarm: we shall understand that disposal and pollution necessitate recycle and recovery processes, i.e., we shall address frugal innovation ideas. The men followed along the ages the haughty attitude to enjoy absolute truths (God-backed or matter immanent); the thriftiness is assumed to be a faulty condition, when, on the contrary, it is the only way we can build the (comparative) progress. In the survey, the author moves around these topics, suggesting that some communal truths shall need revisions when aiming at the supply chain eco-sustainability.

Abstract:
Objectives:Online Health Communities (OHCs) are increasingly being used by patients in the Web 2.0 era. Today's patients have instant access to a great deal of medical information and contacts. Despite the considerable development of OHCs, little is known regarding the impact on the patient–physician relationship. This research aims at filling this gap and examines how interpersonal trust on peer-to-peer OHCs influences two key relational variables, namely patient trust in the physician and patient satisfaction with the physician. It also investigates their influences on the patient's attitude toward the physician. Methods:Drawing on both the relational and medical literatures, we propose a research model that brings out the relationships between interpersonal trust in OHCs, and patients’ trust, satisfaction and attitude toward the physician. We then conduct a quantitative survey of 512 OHC users in France, using structural equation modeling to test our hypotheses. Results:Our findings indicate that interpersonal trust in OHCs exerts a positive influence on both patients’ trust in and satisfaction with their physician. It also highlights that these two relational variables have a positive influence on patient attitude toward the physician. Our findings also indicate that patient trust influences patient satisfaction with the physician. Conclusions:This research highlights the importance of OHCs, which can be seen as valuable instruments for enhancing patient–physician relationships. It shows that healthcare managers should seek to enhance interpersonal trust among OHC users, because this trust has a positive influence on patient satisfaction with, trust in and attitude toward the physician.

Abstract:
The simultaneous existence and evolvement of the intra-psychic and the interpersonal is the basis of the term ‘relational’. Group analysis seems to have the same convictions about the essence of the human mind, the interconnection of minds and the need to refresh our psychotherapeutic concepts. Referring to Billow’s article, I suggest that the clearest connection between his ideas, the relational point of view and group analysis is his view about the meaning of nodes as an active (rather than passive) processing communication. However, contemporary relational thinking requires some self-report of the therapist’s counter-transference as a manifestation of relational attitude. From this point of view, some parts of Billow’s article are written from an orthodox, one-person psychology perspective. It seems that Foulkes’ suggestion that the conductor is also a participant and is subject to the same group processes is an essential connection between group analysis and relational thinking. Recognizing and understanding the conductor’s participation in the group may be relevant and rewarding to our professional elaboration in relational terms.

Abstract: Background: Vision is the most important sense because it allows interacting freely with the environment and enjoying the beauty of life. The eye is the window to the world and it is a sensitive, highly specialized sense organ subject to various disorders, many of which lead to impaired vision. Blindness is a lack or loss of ability to see; lack of perception of visual stimuli. The diseases of the cornea are one of the major causes of blindness in India for which the vision can be restored by eye donation. Eye sight is very important for human life. The World Health Organization (W.H.O) estimates that for every 5 seconds, someone goes blind. Globally 37 million people are blind and of these nearly 10 lakh blind people are willing for corneal transplantation. Well informed adolescents could be expected to influence eye donation rates. Methods: Descriptive survey approach with co-relational design was used for the study. The aim of the study was to assess the knowledge and attitude regarding eye donation among the adolescents and to identify the relationship between them. The Structured knowledge questionnaire and Attitude scale on eye donation were used to collect the data. The data were collected by questionnaire method from 100 adolescents, who were selected using non-probability purposive sampling technique at Yenepoya pre- university college, Mangalore, India. Data collected from the subjects were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The mean percentage of the knowledge scores among adolescents were 57%, the mean percentage of the attitude scores among adolescents were 70.5% and there was a positive correlation between knowledge and attitude among adolescents (r(98) = 0.201). Table value r(98) = 0.236, p< 0.313). Conclusion: The findings of the study showed that the adolescents had good knowledge and positive attitude towards eye donation and there was a positive co-relation between knowledge and attitude among adolescents.

Abstract:
Gender equality at work in male-dominated industries is conditioned by intrinsic systemic issues which established policies have, to a significant extent, failed to address, as women’s participation remains under-represented. This study argues for the reappraisal of the issue through a different lens and carries out a systematic and thematic review of the literature on women in construction in Australia through a women’s empowerment framework. Despite its usual application in gender inequality at work in development studies, the concept of empowerment lacks attention in the context of developed countries, particularly regarding the construction industry. Empowerment has been proved a useful overarching framework to analyse personal, relational, and environmental factors affecting women’s ability to be or do. In the examined studies, there is significant focus on external barriers to women in construction, such ‘organisational practices’ (environmental), ‘support’ and ‘others’ attitudes and behaviour’ (relational). There is, however, limited attention to more active stances of power, such as one’s attitude (personal), control and capacity, in shifting power dynamics. The paper draws seven major findings, covering personal, relational and environmental dimensions, supported and supplemented by some international studies, and suggests the way forward for empowering women in construction.

Abstract:
This paper presents a systemic functional analysis of three types of processes in academic texts: verbal, mental and relational. It intends to explore how certain process types in Spanish are related to the expression of evaluation in academic texts. Our study draws on Systemic Functional Linguistics and, in particular, on the Appraisal Theory (J. R. Martin & White, 2005), which explores evaluative aspects of the language, here we shall analyze only one of its subsystems, Attitude. The method of this research is counting the number of words and clauses in our corpora and registered the frequency of verbal, mental and relational processes in these clauses. Our analysis is based on student texts collected at the Faculty of Arts, belonging to two disciplines: literature and history, but to only one genre: question-answer. The preliminary results show certain differences between the two corpora: in the literature texts clauses with appraisal prevail and judgment is the preferred means of expressing Attitude, while the history texts prefer clauses without appraisal and appreciation prevails among the subtypes of Attitude.

Abstract:
Abstract Our study examines the relation between explicit and implicit attitudes toward academic cheating and the frequency of committing it among students of different faculties (pedagogy and psychology, and law and administration). The implicit attitudes were measured using two methods - the Implicit Association Test (IAT) and Implicit Relational Assessment Procedure (IRAP). As hypothesized, the explicit attitude toward academic cheating was positively related to the its frequency. Results indicate that the implicit measures did not predict the frequency of self-reported academic cheating behaviours. The field of study itself was not a differentiating factor for any studied variables. The methodological problems related with using IAT and IRAP as measures of implicit attitudes toward cheating and the study’s possible limitations were discussed.

Abstract:
Associative attitude learning is typically viewed as a low-level process that automatically registers mere co-occurrences between stimuli, independent of their validity and relational meaning. This view invites to critically examine how attitude formation conforms to four operating conditions (i.e., unawareness, efficiency, goal independence, and uncontrollability) and two operating principles (i.e., unqualified registration of mere co-occurrences between stimuli and formation of direct stimulus–response links), which is the main purpose of the present contribution. The general discussion examines how contemporary attitude models endorse these conditions and principles. Overall, this contribution calls for (a) a nuanced understanding of the nature and scope of associative attitude learning, (b) a fine-grained understanding of how contemporary attitude models endorse conditions and principles reviewed here and find them relevant to their theorization of attitude formation, (c) a clarification of how direct and indirect evaluative measures relate to these conditions and principles, and (d) enhanced efforts in specifying contemporary attitude formation models.

Abstract:
This paper examines the debate as to whether something can have final value in virtue of its relational (i.e., non-intrinsic) properties, or, more briefly put, whether final value must be intrinsic. The paper adopts the perspective of the fitting-attitude analysis (FA analysis) of value, and argues that from this perspective, there is no ground for the requirement that things may have final value only in virtue of their intrinsic properties, but that there might be some grounds for the alternate requirement that final value be grounded only in the essential properties of their bearers. First, the paper introduces the key elements of the FA analysis, and sets aside an obvious but unimportant way in which this analysis makes all final values relational. Second, it discusses some classical counterexamples to the view that final value must be intrinsic. Third, it discusses the relation between final, contributive, and signatory value. Fourth, it examines Zimmerman’s defense of the requirement that final value must be intrinsic on the grounds that final value cannot be derivative. And finally, it explores the alternative requirement that something may have final value in virtue of its essential properties.

Abstract:
Promoting an intercultural perspective in education must rely on a certain vision upon society. Given the special significance in educational approaches, the intercultural approach is a new way of designing and implementing the school curriculum and a new relational attitude among teachers, students and parents. The intercultural perspective opens new avenues for the manifestation of diversity and differences. Intercultural positioning is not reduced to a cumulative presentation of knowledge about the values of others, but it means cultivating attitudes of respect and openness to diversity. This attitude is born through a permanent communication with others and through a careful and optimal decentralization towards one’s own cultural norms. Therefore, the management of the intercultural conflicts made in the context of school learning experiences must be related to the dynamic perspective on the changes that characterize the educational reality in terms of educational innovation. As a consequence, a pertinent analysis of this phenomenon is required, in order to bring the necessary restructuring in order to optimize school activity and prevent conflict management between students belonging to different cultures, being known the fact that the more elaborate the interaction, the more effective and productive it becomes.

In the late twentieth century, interreligious education emerged as a way to transform one’s attitude toward other religions and reduce religious prejudice. This article addresses the philosophical aspects of this practice, in particular the problems that arise when an essentialist approach is accommodated. The problems include the why (philosophical rationale), the who (subject and participant), the what (content), and the future (purpose). In response, the author explores how a relational approach grounded in a Whiteheadian philosophy of multiplicity would allow us to understand interreligious education differently. The article finds that a relational approach can help us imagine and embody interreligious education in a more humanizing, inclusive, and transformative way.

Attitudes and values related to entrepreneurship imbibed by graduates may serve as impediments to future economic growth and development of entrepreneurship. Factors behind the nonchalant attitude towards entrepreneurship by the potential entrepreneur youth need to be identified and their influence remedied. This descriptive and co-relational study analyzed the socio-economic factors determining attitude towards entrepreneurship among graduates in Botswana. A valid and reliable questionnaire was used for data collection through a survey of 149 (n=149) randomly sampled graduates in Botswana. Data was analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistical tools of mean, frequency, independent t-test, one way analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. Descriptive statistics indicated that the students would like to pursue their future career as entrepreneurs but opposite to the student career ambition, the parents want their children to become future professionals. Findings revealed that eight socio-economic factors namely; gender, program of study, year of study, mothers’ education level, mothers’ profession, family income level and students career ambition after completion of degree program and parents career ambition after completion of degree program have significant influence on the students’ attitude towards entrepreneurship. Multiple regression analysis indicated that the socio-economic factors are significant predictors of students’ attitude towards entrepreneurship. Furthermore, mothers’ education level was the top significant socio-economic factor predicting the students’ attitude followed by students’ career ambition after completion of the program, the year of study and the program of study. Further research can be conducted to investigate the reasons for gender difference in students’ attitude towards entrepreneurship and, reasons for contradicting career ambitions of the students and their parents.

Abstract:
Purpose This paper aims to investigate the impact of gift-givers’ perception of relational closeness on their gift-selection attitude and eventual selection when the gift is not a requested-gift. Design/methodology/approach A conceptual framework was constructed on the basis of five hypotheses, which were tested by field data collected through surveys of urban Indian gift-givers while they shopped for a gift. Logistic regressions were used for validating hypotheses. Mediation effect was computed using the PROCESS macro in SPSS. Findings The giver may have either a “recipient-centric” or a “giver-centric” attitude towards gift-selection. It was found that givers who feel greater closeness towards recipients are less likely to be “giver-centric” and more likely to believe that the recipient’s preferences are similar to their own. The givers’ belief that the recipient’s preferences are similar to their own mediates the effect of closeness on attitude. Closeness reduces the odds of making a “preference-contrary” selection among “recipient-centric” givers because of a perceived similarity of preferences. Research limitations/implications The study was conducted among urban Indian gift-shoppers. Cross-cultural study may be required for general interpretation of the results. In addition, the role of reciprocity in determining giver’s attitude and gift-selection was not studied. Practical implications The study found that the odds of making “preference-contrary” gift-selection depend on the closeness of the dyadic relation. This understanding can be used in advertising and promoting products that are used as gifts between close relations. Originality/value Previous studies postulated and demonstrated that relational closeness affects gift-giving behaviour, but none connected closeness to gift-selection. This research conceptualised gift-giver’s attitude, which influences giver’s selection.

Abstract:
The sharing of tacit knowledge is an important influence on the development of intellectual capital in a University of Technology but whereas its effects are clear in a business context, they have been absent from studies in the context of higher education. This study integrated relational social capital and reasoned action theory to construct a model for investigating factors that predict an individual’s intention to share tacit knowledge. Specifically, it examined the relationship between relational social capital in terms of trust (affect and cognitive-based trust), shared norms and values (including social norms and norms of social support and reciprocity) and the individual’s attitude towards sharing tacit knowledge. It further examined the relationship between the individual’s attitude, their perceived norms and perceived behavioral control over the sharing of tacit knowledge and their intention to share tacit knowledge.A hypothesized, theoretical model of the individual’s intention to share tacit knowledge was developed. This model was found to be a poor fit to the data and an alternative model was developed which was found to be a good fit to the data. This study incorporated nine research interviews and five hundred and fifty four questionnaires. Relational social capital was found to be significant for predicting individuals’ intentions to share tacit knowledge but the reasoned action variables were found to be less significant, particularly perceived behavioral control over the sharing of tacit knowledge, indicating the need for further research.

Abstract:
Individual differences are considered as important factors in the language learning process. Apart from individual differences, affective factors such as attitudes and motivation of individuals and their anxiety levels which affect the individuals’ language learning directly or indirectly are also believed as significant impacts in this process. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to examine the relationship between self-regulation strategies, motivational beliefs, attitudes, speaking anxiety and foreign language classroom anxiety and to investigate the predictive power of these variables for foreign language classroom anxiety. The relational model was used in the current study. The research group included 320 male (65.6 %) and 168 female (34.4 %) English preparatory students at Istanbul Technical University. Attitudes toward English Lesson Scale, Foreign Language Speaking Anxiety Questionnaire, The Motivational Strategies for Learning Questionnaire, and Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale were used as the data collection tool. The statistical methods used for analyses were correlation and multiple regression. The findings indicated that there is a significant positive correlation between foreign language classroom anxiety and self-regulation, test anxiety, and foreign language speaking anxiety. Also, there is significant negative correlation between foreign language classroom anxiety and self-efficacy intrinsic value perception, and attitude towards English. Moreover, self-efficacy, test anxiety, attitude towards English, and foreign language speaking anxiety are predictors of the university students’ foreign language classroom anxiety.

Abstract:
This study was conducted to determine to what extent the attitudes of pre-service teachers of social studies and history towards the teaching profession may predict possible teacher selves. Participants of the research are senior social studies teacher candidates studying at a public university in the spring semester of 2018-2019 academic year and history teacher candidates registered in the pedagogical formation program. Relational survey model, one of the survey models, was used in the research. The data was collected through Teacher Candidates Possible Selves Questionnaire and Attitude Scale towards Teaching Profession. The data obtained from the study were analyzed by Independent samples t test and simple linear regression analysis techniques. According to the results obtained from the research, there was no difference between the attitudes of social studies teacher candidates and history teacher candidates who received pedagogical formation education towards the teaching profession. While the department of teacher candidates was not effective on the expected teacher selves, it was determined that it was effective on the feared teacher selves. It has been understood that the attitude towards teaching profession is effective in predicting expected possible selves, but it is ineffective in predicting feared possible selves that are feared. Suggestions were made in line with the results obtained from the research.

A review that synthesized scientific evidence was carried out. The results distinguished between attitudes and interventions. On the one hand, they highlighted the relevance of the therapeutic alliance for attitude development. On the other hand, they pointed out the importance of motivational interviewing as well as “cognitive-behavioral” and “Solution-Focused Brief Therapy” theoretical models for intervention development. Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediational role of relational psychological contract in social beliefs and work input attitude dependency. We analyzed data taken from employees (N = 258) in four different organizations operating in the Pomeranian market. A mediation analysis showed a strongly mediating role of psychological contract in the negative relationship between perception of life as a zero-sum game (BZSG) and work input. The motivational effect of the relational psychological contract, that is the role of job security, interesting work, a career in the company, opportunities for promotion and other HRM practices prevail over the significance of personal beliefs, especially when these are negative. If the company lacks the appropriate HRM systems then day-to-day social exchanges can be crucial in modifying the social beliefs of the employee.
