Abstract:
Abstract:
In (digital) grids, neighbor relation is a crucial concept; digital distances are based on paths through neighbor points. Digital distances are significant, e.g., in digital image processing for giving an approximation of the Euclidean distance and allowing incremental algorithms on images. Neighborhood sequences (i.e., infinite sequences of the possible types of neighbors) are defining digital distances with a lower rotational dependency than the distances based only on a sole neighborhood. They allow one to change the used neighborhood condition in every step along a path. They are defined in various grids, and they can be periodic. Generalized neighborhood sequences do not need to be periodic. In this paper, the triangular grid is studied. An equivalence and two partial order relations on the set of generalized and periodic neighborhood sequences are shown on this grid. The first partial order, the “faster” relation, is based on distances defined by neighborhood sequences, and it does not provide a lattice but gives a relatively complex relation for neighborhood sequences with a short period. The other partial order, the relation “componentwise dominate”, defines a complete distributive lattice on the set of generalized neighborhood sequences. Finally, a relation of the above-mentioned relations is established. Important differences regarding the cases of the square and triangular grids are also highlighted.

Managing public relations effectively is one of goal of public institutions, including Indonesian nationalist and Islamic political parties. This article is specified to examine the degree to which did PDIP dan PKS carry out political public relations activities and the ways they managed to do so as a political marketing strategy. To do so, we adopt Kiousis & Stromback’s (2013, 2014) political public relation theory and deploy descriptive qualitative method to anaylse the data derived from the existing literature, online news report and social media accounts of PDIP and PKS. The findings are as follows. PDIP and PKS have developed diverse types of political public relation (PR) activities. Each of these political parties strived to developed political PR activities. The ways they managed to do so are dissimilar. PDIP has prioritized to manage the media, issues and crisis managements. PKS has instead, preferred managing three following types of political PR activities, which are event management that is particularly directed to address the young electorates, campaign volunteer mobilization and also strategic digital communication and interactions, especially to the young voters targeted by this party much more. PDIP seems being less interested in establishing the abovementioned three political PR activities tactically

Abstract:
Digitalization affects the relation between human agents and technological objects. This paper looks at digital behavior change technologies (BCT) from a deontological perspective. It identifies three moral requirements that are relevant for ethical approaches in the tradition of Kantian deontology: epistemic rationalism, motivational rationalism and deliberational rationalism. It argues that traditional Kantian ethics assumes human ‘subjects’ to be autonomous agents, whereas ‘objects’ are mere passive tools. Digitalization, however, challenges this Cartesian subject-object dualism: digital technologies become more and more autonomous and take on agency. Similarly, human subjects can outsource agency and will-power to technologies. In addition, our intersubjective relations are being more and more shaped by digital technologies. The paper therefore re-examines the three categories ‘subject’, ‘object’ and ‘intersubjectivity’ in light of digital BCTs and suggests deontological guidelines for digital objects, digital subjects and a digitally mediated intersubjectivity, based on a re-examination of the requirements of epistemic, motivational and deliberational rationalism.

In this paper we prove results relating to two homotopy relations and four homology theories developed in the topology of digital images.

We introduce a new type of homotopy relation for digitally continuous functions which we call ``strong homotopy.'' Both digital homotopy and strong homotopy are natural digitizations of classical topological homotopy: the difference between them is analogous to the difference between digital 4-adjacency and 8-adjacency in the plane.

We also consider four different digital homology theories: a simplicial homology theory by Arslan et al which is the homology of the clique complex, a singular simplicial homology theory by D. W. Lee, a cubical homology theory by Jamil and Ali, and a new kind of cubical homology for digital images with $c_1$-adjacency which is easily computed, and generalizes a construction by Karaca \& Ege. We show that the two simplicial homology theories are isomorphic to each other, but distinct from the two cubical theories.

We also show that homotopic maps have the same induced homomorphisms in the cubical homology theory, and strong homotopic maps additionally have the same induced homomorphisms in the simplicial theory.

Abstract:
In this paper, we propose new definitions of digital Jordan curves and digital Jordan surfaces. We start with introducing and studying closure operators on a given set that are associated with n-ary relations (n > 1 an integer) on this set. Discussed are in particular the closure operators associated with certain n-ary relations on the digital line ℤ. Of these relations, we focus on a ternary one equipping the digital plane ℤ2 and the digital space ℤ3 with the closure operator associated with the direct product of two and three, respectively, copies of this ternary relation. The connectedness provided by the closure operator is shown to be suitable for defining digital curves satisfying a digital Jordan curve theorem and digital surfaces satisfying a digital Jordan surface theorem.

Full text
Abstract:
The article reviews the issue of the correlation of rules for the postmortem transfer of digital objects established by user agreements of online communities as public agreements on the one hand and national inheritance law on the other hand. Essentially, the problem is that the case law of the Supreme Court of Russia de facto sanctions contractual restriction of inheritance even in cases not directly stipulated by law. Such restriction is imperatively stipulated in the majority of user agreements. The author concludes that three approaches to the determination of the essence of a legal relation between a user being a testator and an Internet community administrator have been currently established in the doctrine and judicial practice. According to the first approach, such a legal relation is a legal relation involving a consumer, thus, the postmortem transfer of rights under a user agreement (and therefore digital objects assigned to the heir's account) should be carried out even notwithstanding any possible contractual limitations. The second approach is based on the conceptualization of such a legal relation as a legal relation not involving a consumer, for which cause contractual limitation of inheritance under a user agreement is possible. The third approach is based on the conceptualization of a separate type of such a legal relation — a legal relation between a player and an online game administrator — as a legal relation concerning the organization of a game and participation in it, the rights whereunder are not subject to judicial protection and thus may be restricted. Based on an analysis of specific cases, legal doctrine and legislation files, the author concludes that there are grounds for the determination of relations between a user being a testator and an Internet community (social media, game platform, etc.) administrator as relations involving a consumer. Therefore, a conclusion is made that the restriction of inheritance rights under a user agreement is inadmissible.

Abstract:
How do Mallarmé’s writings speak to the present? To answer this question, this article establishes a dialogue between one of Mallarmé’s early prose poems, ‘Le Démon de l'analogie’, and texts by the contemporary media theorists Mark Hansen, Steven Shaviro and Eugene Thacker. The article argues that Mallarmé’s poem explores how it feels to be a body modulated by code. The poem puts twentieth-century phenomenology with its focus on human perception under pressure, and instead presents a very contemporary view of individuation (subject-formation) as a process that is both thoroughly bound up with the environment, and difficult to comprehend and unify. In a final section, the article considers ‘Le Démon de l'analogie’ in relation to the poet's dream about le Livre, and suggests that Mallarmé’s work as a whole brings together the utopian and the dystopian tendencies that have marked media studies from their inception, and that continue to characterize our relations to the technological object.

Abstract:
The significance of notions such as digital worlds and spaces remains vague despite their common use in digital humanities, and the extent to which these are bound up with our relation to place and the world is often disregarded. The aim of this article is to clarify the philosophical underpinnings of these concepts, identify the problematic aspects of our relation to digital technologies, and explore the possibility of developing a topological reflection on our being in digital environments. In drawing from the 20th-century German thinker Martin Heidegger’s philosophy of place and technology, the article problematizes the modern conception of the world as a mere spatial network and outlines the phenomenological boundaries of digital spaces. By giving particular attention to explaining the ontological and hermeneutic meaning of the notion of distance, the article elucidates the interplay between nearness and remoteness and arrives at three correlated meanings of distance.

As a mode of technology mediated communication, the advent and development of social media has provided a vast array of interaction, which may lead to the attainment of understanding between public and government. Using Kent & Taylor’s model on dialogic two-way models, an organization could deliver an effective, sophisticated, and effective public relation programs using social media. Social media plays a significant role in providing avenues for such a high degree interaction. A successful public relation campaign, in the end, would contribute greatly in an organization’s efforts to manage its image. This article is aimed at providing elaboration on ways through which a government institution could effectively utilize social media in its public relations campaign, using a qualitative descriptive approach. This article found that the degree of social media utilization by a government institution would very much be depended on their respective social media adoption stage.

Abstract:
Sharing is a distinct form of interaction championed in digital contexts. Yet the term ‘sharing’ is a site of contestation. There are multiple overlapping imaginaries of sharing, such as sharing as an inherent social norm; sharing as a frictionless form of communication through social technologies; sharing as a fraught practice that, when over-performed, undermines and breaks down relationships and reputations; and sharing as an economic model. Furthermore, the term ‘sharing’ has been appropriated by specific cultural intermediaries at the cost of understanding the material and affective significance of sharing in everyday life. Yet still, there is no sufficient theory or formalisation of sharing, only reappropriations of existing theories – such as gift, reciprocity, knowledge and commodity exchange, and boundary work – that partially explain certain practices of sharing to the exclusion of others. Based on this observation, I argue that we are in need of a framework for theorising sharing as it is experienced in the contexts of digital device use. In response to this need, I set out a theory of sharing as a coherent and consistent set of elements, comprising competencies, materiality and symbolic values.

Abstract ›Bildung‹ in a Postdigital World. Digital Experiences and the Role of Responsibility in the Process of ›Bildung‹ This article addresses the question of the possibility of ›Bildung‹ in an increasingly digital world. Following Armin Nassehi, digitality can be understood as a process of translation that makes patterns and structures visible and thus experienceable, which are revealed in world relations. In terms of educational theory, the article addresses the question of how the visibility of patterns of the digital can affect and change the self-relation of individuals. Under circumstances in which the digital is a self-evident condition for accessing and understanding the world, in short, under post-digital circumstances, the inscription of world-relations into one’s own self-relations is not a purely passive process. Experiencing the digital – here as a quantified, collective experience – individuals can take responsibility for their own learning.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: This work starts from a base, which is not necessary to travel again, and takes it for granted, that is, repeating on the one hand the need to adapt as notaries to a new support; Just as the tabelion had to go from the waxed clay board that gave it its name, to the use of the parchment and then of the paper, we will have to adapt to the use of the digital document, that is, the instrument that has a metal-magnetic support. Nor do we get into the subject of the digital signature, its history, the procedure to reach it, etc. We do not want to waste time on these issues that other authors have developed so well in so many works to advance a specific topic, in relation to the digital document, this is the preparation of a digital testimony. We circumscribe the statement only in relation to the testimony of writing, and not in relation to the protocol, because we believe that while it is necessary to adapt to new technologies, the changes have to be gradual. Necessarily the change takes a first stage of experimentation, of error and correction, of knowledge and handling of the subject, and mainly because the change is not good for the change itself but based on serious foundations that give rise to it. We see very clearly in this world that has been revolutionized in the communication sector, that it is necessary to have a document capable of being transmitted, from one place to another with the immediacy that new technologies give us and with the advantages of having the full probative value (the advantages of this digital document being public and not private) have to come to light, but there is no need to set aside the matrix support and all the security it provides. The advantages of a digital protocol are still not clearly seen, perhaps in a few years, these advantages arise, or perhaps there are more secure systems in digital format than in paper format, and we must change, but this is not yet seen as the moment of doing it.

Abstract:
Digital transformation (DT) has changed the means and mechanisms for acquiring knowledge, meaning that higher education institutions (HEI) have changed the form of student-lecturer and teaching-learning interaction. Digital transformation must have a relevant role in building the hard skills (HS) necessary for academic entrepreneurship, where HS are easily taught and measured. This study analyses the basis of HS for digital academic entrepreneurship, answering the following research hypothesis: What are the hard skills—entrepreneurial education—for digital academic entrepreneurship and how are they formed? An extensive, inclusive literature review revealed that, due to the possibility of editing, reprogramming and generating digital technology, the basis of DT can support the development of HS in higher education students. The results show that HS can be developed considering three major pillars: (i) Management Tools, (ii) Digital Process, and (iii) Digital Products. Since HS are easily taught, this study shows how the use of digital technology can transform this scalable teaching process in order to reach the maximum number of students. It is therefore suggested that those in charge of HEIs use the pillars presented here in the framework proposed to guide their institutions’ strategic planning. With these pillars in mind, the aim is to stimulate the development of innovative business proposals developed in the academic environment and promote digital academic entrepreneurship.

Abstract:
This work critically examined the impact of digital technology on public relations practice in Nigeria. The objectives of the study were to examine the role of digital technology on public relations practice in Nigeria, identify types of digital technology and examine the positive and negative impacts of digital technology on public relations practices. The study made use of qualitative research methods which relied on books, journals, internet sources, review of related literature to critically discourse the impact of digital media on public relation practice. The study which was anchored on uses and gasification theory and technology determinism theory revealed that the advent of digital technology has greatly impacted how public relations has been practised in Nigeria. The study concluded that digital technology has transformed modern life by adding immeasurable benefits to it. The study recommended that to maintain a favourable image in the organization, public relations practitioners should maintain absolute control over this new media technology and continually monitor the web for unwanted online exposure. Furthermore, inadequate and erroneous online information broadcast by disgruntled employees, customers, and stakeholders should be promptly addressed by PR experts in organizations to avoid unfriendly relations with the public.

With the focus on organizations, this article describes power in relation to mediated surveillance using Luhmann’s systems theory, poststructuralist theory and theory of media sociography. It aims to sketch out the main issues in contemporary surveillance discourse and illustrate the current situation, as well as discuss surveillance from the perspective of poststructuralist theory in relation to Luhmann’s concepts of trust, risk and especially power. The underlying media sociographical question is which storing-, retrieving-, localisation- and temporal possibilities for communication and surveillance do digital media provide and how the realization of this potential feeds back into organizations’ power structures.

Abstract:
This study provides a critical analysis of digital transformation which not only creates new patterns in production, distribution, and consumption but also has implications for power. Various issues have yet to be responded to thoroughly by policymakers to have allowed the new labor relations created in the digital sharing economy to develop quickly and become fragile, especially for laborers. In this article used a qualitative method with the desk study approach, by collecting data and information through examinations, analyzing information data using secondary data. This data is in the form of books, journals, workforce data from BPS, supporting data from related institutions, laws and regulations related to work, reports and literature studies. The results of this study show the emergence of an online transportation based digital platform which has opened new job opportunities, on the other hand, the industrial relation formed are only based on "virtual agreement". The social partnership relations that exist between business/industry players and workers also give rise to new anomalies. This relation obscures the rights and protection of laborers who are unknowingly experiencing exploitation. Digital platform businesses cover the practice of labor exploitation within the rhetorical frame of freedom, flexibility, and partnership. It is the company that is at the peak of power, with control over technology, capital, and access. This study provides input to stakeholders, both government and digital industry, that digital developments should be able to be utilized in influencing social transformation that builds industrial optimism, technology, and empowers society more broadly. State authority and private power need to be integrated to act and be socially responsible. New findings in this study are on aspects digital-based industries cannot be separated from the process of commercialization and the massification of modern capitalism. Lack of regulations that become safety nets makes the labor's position vulnerable and prone to being exploited. The industrial relation of social partnerships, and the absence of regulations governing the work of the informal sector, especially on the digital online transportation platform, creating new anomalies and problems for the labor.

Abstract:
The article explores meaning-making by investigating the subject-object relation and human-machine intra-action within the context of archive and archiving practices. It discusses changing relations between humans, machines, and objects in changing technological environments. Entering the digital archive’s cosmos, the subject-object relation transfers the focus on human-machine intra-action. The article examines the thingness of digital objects and the role of search engines in generating data collections as prerequisites for the intelligibility of the entangled parts. In digital flowness, search engines provoke a stasis in the constant movement of information, creating ephemeral collections. Thus, meaning emerges as a temporal pause within the ongoing continuum. The article argues that in the processual continuum of movement-stasis, meaning is a process – always a momentum, always stillborn, thus, intelligible to both the human and the machine. Conceiving meaning as a process within the condition of digital flowness signifies the transcendence of content in favor of processual entanglements between the human and the machine.

In order to enhance the utility of online educational digital resources, the authors propose a practical and efficient multi-strategy relation extraction (RE) model in online education scenarios. First, the effective relation discrimination model is used to make relation predictions for non-structured teaching resources and eliminate the noise data. Then, they extract relations from different path strategies using multiple low-computational resources and efficient relation extraction strategies and use their proposed multi-strategy weighting calculator to weigh the relation extraction strategies to derive the final target relations. To cope with the low-resource relation extraction scenario, the relation extraction results are complemented by using prompt learning with a big model paradigm. They also consider the model to serve the commercial scenario of online education, and they propose a global rate controller to adjust and adapt the rate and throughput requirements in different scenarios, so as to achieve the best balance of system stability, computation speed, and extraction performance.

Abstract:
In this paper the author analyses the possible convergences and divergences of two current legislative proposals of the European Commission: the Portability Regulation and the Digital Content Directive. Both proposals address the issue of access to digital content from different perspectives and complement each other, although they use different legal terminology and in some respects have a different scope of application in the question of cross-border portability of the digital content provided for monetary counter performance to consumers. The Portability Regulation focuses on the cross-border portability of digital content [Art. 3 (1) Portability Regulation), while the Digital Content Directive specifies the consumer rights related to the distribution of digital content and subsumes the accessibility of digital content under the concept of “conformity of the digital content with the contract” [Art. 6 (1), (2) Digital Content Directive). The author aims to answer whether a consumer who is not allowed to use the digital content in EU Member States besides the Member State of his residence will be entitled to pursue claims arising from the non-conformity of the digital content with the contract.

This paper proposed the gamification design regarding the local characteristics of Snail Alley in Tainan, Taiwan, so that users could understand local features and take part in community affairs. Snail Oasis embraced the idea of the relation population (i.e., people who are not residents but have relations with a specific place) for inviting non-residents to contribute to the place. The research conducted semi-structured interviews to get feedback from Snail Oasis. The results showed that Snail Oasis has the potential to motivate users’ extrinsic motivation in terms of raising their interests in Snail Alley and suggested a way to utilise people’s intrinsic motivation when they have chances to contribute to the place. The research concluded that the integration of digital gamification helped attract visitors and highlighted the importance of cooperating with localities to come up with creative community activities and keep the communication channels with potential relation populations.

<abstract>
The purpose of the paper is to study digital topological versions of typical topological groups. In relation to this work, given a digital image $ (X, k), X \subset {\mathbb Z}^n $, we are strongly required to establish the most suitable adjacency relation in a digital product $ X \times X $, say $ G_{k^\ast} $, that supports both $ G_{k^\ast} $-connectedness of $ X \times X $ and $ (G_{k^\ast}, k) $-continuity of the multiplication $ \alpha: (X \times X, G_{k^\ast}) \to (X, k) $ for formulating a digitally topological $ k $-group (or $ DT $-$ k $-group for brevity). Thus the present paper studies two kinds of adjacency relations in a digital product such as a $ C_{k^\ast} $- and $ G_{k^\ast} $-adjacency. In particular, the $ G_{k^\ast} $-adjacency relation is a new adjacency relation in $ X \times X\subset {\mathbb Z}^{2n} $ derived from $ (X, k) $. Next, the paper initially develops two types of continuities related to the above multiplication $ \alpha $, e.g., the $ (C_{k^\ast}, k) $- and $ (G_{k^\ast}, k) $-continuity. Besides, we prove that while the $ (C_{k^\ast}, k) $-continuity implies the $ (G_{k^\ast}, k) $-continuity, the converse does not hold. Taking this approach, we define a $ DT $-$ k $-group and prove that the pair $ (SC_k^{n, l}, \ast) $ is a $ DT $-$ k $-group with a certain group operation $ \ast $, where $ SC_k^{n, l} $ is a simple closed $ k $-curve with $ l $ elements in $ {\mathbb Z}^{n} $. Also, the $ n $-dimensional digital space $ ({\mathbb Z}^n, 2n, +) $ with the usual group operation "$ + $" on $ {\mathbb Z}^n $ is a $ DT $-$ 2n $-group. Abstract:
In the past few years digital financial assets and digital currency have been getting more popularity among the tools of digital economy. Due to the demand for turnover of digital financial assets and digital currency, as well as the formation of an increasing number of jural relations, the object of which they are, they require efficient legal regulation, which is not a simple task for the legislator because of their dinamic development. Lack of such regulation causes the formation of non-uniform regulatory enforcements practices and the unpredictability of legal relations that are developed in relation to these instruments. One of the keys to the formation of effective regulation is a definition and precise legislative consolidation of the legal nature of digital financial assets and digital currency. This article analyzes the approaches to determining the legal nature of digital financial assets and digital currency in the current domestic legislation at the stage when such legislation has not been formed yet based on the analysis of regulatory enforcement practices and clarifications of state bodies. The current legislation is also analyzed in terms of the presence of legislative gaps taking into account the relationship between the relevant regulation and the provisions contained in other, non-major legislation. Moreover, the authors also analyzed the approaches to the regulation of the turnover of digital financial assets and digital currency abroad. Such approaches were classified as well, which allowed to identify the main trends of regulation of their turnover and to determine their legal nature.

Abstract The development of digital goods has profoundly changed the economic relationship and trading methods. Among all the digital goods recommendation information, ranking information is of prominent significance. The rankings impact consumers positively as they make decisions on buying digital products. We serve rankings and consumer psychologies as the object of this study, and will offer references and suggestions for the customization of the mobile terminal. Combining factor and cluster analysis, we subdivide the rankings into three groups first based on consumers’ values and lifestyles: reputation ranking, consumption behavior ranking and purchase intention ranking. Then, we use a correspondence analysis method to conclude the matching relationship between different types of rankings and various consumption psychology groups.

And there often occur, that such a different data in integrated form could contain a significant information for analysis, and moreover for a transformation of the technological process. At the same time, it is rather difficult to provide an analysis in frame of a significant asynchrony, and sometimes it becomes to a practical unsolvable problem. In this regard, the problem on developing of specialized methods for collecting, storing and processing big data of various structures are becoming fundamentally relevant. This is the purpose of the present work, which proposes a new method for organizing data based on the concept of object relations as a universal structure for production modeling. The proposed method is based on the concept of an "object", which is any entity of the production chain (plant, workshop, machine, production operation, unit of production, etc.) The key difference between the method of object relations and agent modeling is the fact that no behavioral scenarios are imposed on objects. Thus, the "object" structure turns out to be authorized to enter into any relationship with other "objects" within the framework of the model under consideration, which in turn allows to accumulate various kinds of data into a single hierarchy and guarantees the reliability of analysis at any level. The proposed method of object relations has been applied at several full-scale production sites, thereby confirming its stability and operability. The paper provides an analysis of key performance indicators of the application of the method of object relations to solve the problem of forming a technological passport of a product at the steel production, and also discusses ways of further development.
