Abstract:
Rehabilitation has received considerable attention recently, having been the subject of a number of consultations, reviews and policy documents. Despite such activity it is recognized that ‘there is widespread confusion about the meaning of rehabilitation’, with a general failure to clarify aims and objectives. Nevertheless, there is an emerging consensus that the elements of effective rehabilitation include:- responsiveness to users' needs and wishes- multidisciplinary and interagency working- availability when required- clear rehabilitative purpose and goals

Abstract:
To study the application effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing intervention in thoracic surgery nursing, this paper researches controlled trials. First, this paper sets up a control group and a test group. The control group uses traditional nursing methods for thoracic surgical nursing intervention, and the test group adds rapid rehabilitation nursing intervention based on traditional nursing intervention. In addition, the operation and rehabilitation conditions of the control group and the test group are the same. Moreover, this paper records rehabilitation information in real time, performs data processing through statistical methods, and conducts follow-up surveys on the rehabilitation process of patients. In addition, this paper compares nursing effects through data comparison and histogram comparison. From the research results, various parameters of the patient’s recovery process and the user satisfaction of the rapid rehabilitation can be seen. Furthermore, nursing is higher than those of the control group, which shows that the rapid rehabilitation nursing method can positively affect the nursing of thoracic surgery.

Abstract:
The significance of rehabilitation-promoting nursing care is emphasized in aging Finland. According to studies, rehabilitation-promoting nursing care enhances the functional capacity of the elderly. The Elderly Services Act obliges municipalities to create a plan to support the elderly population, emphasizing living at home and rehabilitative measures. A large portion of graduated practical nurses will be working with the elderly, so the education of practical nurses must meet the needs of the workforce. The study aimed to produce new information on the implementation of rehabilitation-promoting nursing care in the elderly services system and on the education of rehabilitation-promoting nursing care for the elderly in vocational institutions. The research data was collected in the fall of 2020 through individual theme interviews with practical nurse students (n = 8). The data was analyzed using inductive content analysis. The experiences of practical nurse students regarding rehabilitation-promoting nursing care for the elderly were related to nurses’ time management, organizational practices, nurses’ competence, nurses’ attitudes, nurses’ methods of operation, organizational development, implementation and development of practical teaching, factors affecting the use of aids, and the technology of aids in the future. In conclusion, it can be stated that the content of education and practical work life do not align. It is essential to increase competence in rehabilitation-promoting nursing care and develop organizational practices.

Abstract:
This article will first set rehabilitation nursing and the older person into an appropriate context and then address the nature of rehabilitation nursing, how definitions have developed over time and lastly, what it is that we now provide, in conjunction with others, to meet the rehabilitative needs of our older population. The boundaries defining ‘old’, and between seeing a person as experienced, a bit wrinkly, forgetful and perhaps eccentric, versus a person who is old and demented are by no means clear-cut.

Abstract:
Abstract Objective To determine the specific indicators of nursing students’ competency in rehabilitation nursing posts; to form a training mode of competency of nursing students in rehabilitation nursing posts based on a modern apprenticeship system; and to preliminarily explore the effect of this training mode. Methods The literature review method and the Delphi method were used to determine the specific indicators of nursing students’ competency in rehabilitation nursing posts. Based on the competency index results, the training mode of modern apprenticeship in rehabilitation nursing specialty was determined. Taking a university as an example, the modern apprenticeship training model of rehabilitation nursing specialty was put into the operation group, and the students were selected into the experimental group. The nursing students who accepted the traditional training mode were selected as the control group to compare the competency of the two groups of nursing students before graduation. Results Form a total of 191 indicators of nursing students rehabilitation nursing post competency content. The competency scores of nursing students in the rehabilitation nursing posts of the experimental group were higher than those in the control group in 24 work tasks, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusions Based on the modern apprenticeship system, the training model of nursing students’ competency in rehabilitation nursing posts could improve the matching degree of nursing posts of nursing students and may provide a reference for improving the training of rehabilitation nursing talents.

Abstract:
Introduction A nursing rehabilitation Kardex and reports could act as a framework to facilitate and organize rehabilitation programs. Objectives This study aimed to design a special Kardex and a structure to rehabilitation nursing reports. Methods This study was carried out in two phases consisting of literature review and Delphi method in Rofideh Rehabilitation Hospital, Tehran, Iran. In the first phase, a diverse literature review was done. PubMed, Elsevier, Web of Science, and Google Scholar as a search engine were searched using the keywords of Kardex, “nursing report,” “nursing note,” “nursing rehabilitation,” “nursing Kardex” from 2010 to 2020. After a literature review, the first draft of the Kardex was made. In the next step, using the Delphi method, the initial Kardex was sent to rehabilitation nursing experts in four rounds, and their comments were applied on that. Results The rehabilitation nursing Kardex was prepared after four rounds. The Kardex content included “Evaluation of nutritional needs,” “Requirements for daily living,” “Patients’ education,” “Examination of bedsores,” “Fall prevention,” and “communication with rehabilitation departments (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy).” Conclusion Rehabilitation Kardex and nursing report sample can be used as a suitable tool to promote patients’ independence in rehabilitation centers.

Abstract:
Objective. To investigate clinical efficacy analysis of fast rehabilitation nursing on pain mitigation after lumbar discectomy and bone graft fusion and internal fixation. Methods. A total of 60 patients with lumbar disc herniation who underwent lumbar discectomy and bone graft fusion and internal fixation in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2021 were randomized either into routine group (n = 30) or rehabilitation group (n = 30) via the random number table method. The patients in the routine group were intervened with the routine postoperative nursing mode, and the patients in the rehabilitation group were intervened with the fast rehabilitation nursing mode on the basis of the nursing of the patients in the routine group. The rehabilitation effect, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores, postoperative pain improvement, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results. The postoperative rehabilitation effect of the rehabilitation group was significantly better than that of the routine group ( P < 0.05 ). The fast rehabilitation nursing resulted in a notably lower postoperative SAS and SDS scores versus the routine nursing ( P < 0.001 ). The postoperative pain was significantly mitigated in the rehabilitation group when compared with the routine group ( P < 0.001 ). The fast rehabilitation nursing implemented in the rehabilitation group led to a remarkably higher nursing satisfaction of the patients ( P < 0.001 ). Conclusion. The fast rehabilitation nursing mode intervention for lumbar disc herniation patients undergoing lumbar discectomy and bone graft fusion and internal fixation is a promising approach to improve the postoperative rehabilitation, mitigate postoperative pain, and relieve anxiety, depression, and other negative emotions, with higher clinical nursing satisfaction.

Abstract:
Rehabilitation and nursing-care robots have become one of the prevalent methods for assistant treatment of motor disorder patients in the field of medical rehabilitation. Traditional rehabilitation robots are mostly made of rigid materials, which significantly limits their application for medical rehabilitation and nursing-care. Soft robots show great potential in the field of rehabilitation robots because of their inherent compliance and safety when they interact with humans. In this paper, we conduct a systematic summary and discussion on the soft rehabilitation and nursing-care robots. This study reviews typical mechanical structures, modeling methods, and control strategies of soft rehabilitation and nursing-care robots in recent years. We classify soft rehabilitation and nursing-care robots into two categories according to their actuation technology, one is based on tendon-driven actuation and the other is based on soft intelligent material actuation. Finally, we analyze and discuss the future directions and work about soft rehabilitation and nursing-care robots, which can provide useful guidance and help on the development of advanced soft rehabilitation and nursing-care robots.
