Abstract:
The church history of the Russian-Ukrainian border is a significant area for research, in particular in the issue of the meeting of the Moscow Orthodox Church, which was intensively reformed, and the church structure of numerous immigrants to Slobodа Ukraine from the Kyiv Metropolis («Cherkasy» (Ukrainians)). The main ecclesiastical administrative formation in Sloboda Ukraine was the Bilgorod diocese, ruled by metropolitans in 1667–1721. In this case, the important features of the border are the presence of non-Moscow printing books and the emergence of schools.Already the first Bilgorod Metropolitan Theodosius brought 150 liturgical books to the center of the diocese from Moscow. But according to later data, Moscow books did not dominate in this space: a significant part of the books was from Kyiv, Lviv, and even Ostroh printing houses. The register of books of the Kuryazh monastery, published before the beginning of the 18th century, and other available registers testify to the coexistence of books of various printings in monastery book collections and churches. The «school tradition» of the establishment of schools at churches, similar to the Kyiv Metropolitanate, was also characteristic. The Bilgorod metropolitans did not bring their teachers from Moscow and apparently did not control the «cherkasy schools». These examples once again emphasize the heterogeneity of the borderline and the multiplicity of identities.

Abstract:
This article centers around the publication of a unique document titled ‘The Register of Hired Compositors, Pressmen, and Bookbinders’, which records the employment of 74 individuals in the printing house of the Vilnius Basilian Monastery between 1774 and 1818. In addition to lists of employees, it involves detailed contracts signed by printers itself. This document is kept in Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv. The publication consists of two parts: the first one presents the preface, both in Lithuanian and in English, the second one contains the text of the document. The preface discusses the origin, structure and content of the document. The document being published is important, above all, to the history of the Basilian printing house. However, it also contains valuable information concerning the activities of all other printing houses in Vilnius in the 18th century. Keywords: printing house of the Vilnius Basilian Monastery; printers’ contracts; Ruthenian Order of Saint Basil the Great; 18th century printing press.

Abstract:
Additive manufacturing or 3D-printing is a revolutionary technique for prototyping and building objects for final use. Since the first registers at ~1890 the improved technology has boosted the applications of such technique, decreasing its market price. The most affordable 3D-print technique is Fuse Deposition Modeling (FDM), which is based on a layer-by-layer deposition of a fused polymer on a cooled table. Although FDM has been used by industrials, students and researchers, there are few published protocols dealing with small challenges and daily problems. Here we use a basic object to detail pre- and post-printing steps. This technical note offers the reader tools to model, print and treat the 3D-object. We point out basic challenges, such as positioning the objects on the virtual table of the slicing software, that may lead towards undesirable printed pieces. The protocols described here do not cover the uncountable possibilities of 3D-printing by FDM, but surely help researchers and industrials to start working with it. Abstract:
This paper discusses the stylistic characteristics of the language of cartoons in some Nigerian newspapers. The analysis focuses on printing styles, stylistic registers, and textual features. The author concludes that the informal style (exemplified by the occurrence of Pidgin English, colloquial forms, loan blends, ellipsis, and telegraphic sentences) characterizes the language of the cartoons. Thus, cartoonists use language as an artistic medium in which various options of language are explored for effective communication.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: This essay explores the ways in which Edgar Allan Poe used script, along with text, portraits, and voice, to help him navigate the moral registers of nineteenth-century American authorship. Given the cultural belief that there was little distinction between the character of an author and the characters within a text, Poe's gothic work necessitated that he seek to disarticulate his self from the various selves that peopled his tales, in particular, or risk being branded a degenerate and ignored. This essay examines several of Poe's manuscripts for strategic shifts in his handwriting, contextualizing these alongside texts, images, and literary performances in the period's salons, in order to disclose the important work that his handwriting, with its various scripts, did in shaping his authorial self for the public. It considers Poe's plans for The Stylus and his fascination with anastatic printing as a means for ushering in new conditions of literary production that would not only offer financial benefit to authors but ensure their ability to control the interpretive registers of the self through the presentation of the hand.

Abstract:
Early Stuart England was awash in handwriting. Handwriting was the medium of property records, law, account books, and scholarly note taking. A large share of government was conducted through handwritten policy briefs, registers, and circular letters. Equally, it was the medium of prisoners, beggars, petitioners, and village wits. Collectors compiled handwritten poems, prophecies, speeches, recipes, and anecdotes. The number of English people who knew how to operate a printing press was probably in the low hundreds, the number who could write at least a bit likely in the hundreds of thousands. Writing was accessible, widely understood, and practiced. It was the medium to hand.

Cooperative Extension has relied heavily on the distribution of printed materials to accomplish its mission of providing research-based educational materials to agricultural producers and consumers. As the costs of print media have escalated and budgets have been reduced, Extension has continually sought more efficient and effective alternatives. World Wide Web information servers are central to this task, since they are relatively inexpensive to set up and operate, and can deliver high-quality materials for on-screen viewing or printing on demand. Recent developments (specifically the WebTV network) indicate the Web to be the medium of choice for Extension delivery systems. In addition to providing electronic versions of publications, slide shows, and video clips, most Web browsers also support e-mail and interactive forms for obtaining information from the client. Analysis of Web server logs and guest registers can be used to determine client use patterns to address issues of access and accountability. The current and next generations of most word processing, page layout, and presentation software offer Web-ready layout as one saving option.

Abstract:
The author’s autographs in the early printed books from the collection of the Vasyl Stefanyk Lviv National Scientific Library of Ukraine can be grouped in two categories. The first one includes author’s signatures, their individual notes concerning the book, amendments and supplements to the text. These materials, quite rare in the books, are of particular importance for the researchers of the history of writing and printing. They can become an authoritative reference for dating, settling authorship of anonymous works, preparations of critical editions. The following authors are mentioned in the text: Mikołaj Bernett (1643-1710), Stanisław Brzeżański (ca 1650-1738), Tadeusz Juda Krusiński (1675-1757), Gottfried Lengnich (16891774), Ignacy Krasicki (1735-1801). The other category of author’s autographs, bigger and as precious as the previous one, includes hand-written author’s dedications. The annex to this text registers 67 Polish dedications from the 16-18th centuries. The following famous persons can be found among authors and recipients: Erazm of Rotterdam, Ercole Sassonia, Martinus Glicius of Pilzno, Andrzej Wolan, and Daniel Mikołajewski.

Abstract:
This article posits that Steve McCaffery's radical poetico-graphic experimentation, from the 1970s through to the present day, is an exemplary site at which innovations in poetics and technology converge. At stake in McCaffery's multifaceted achievement are, among other issues: the composition of the poetic page as a screen, with its integral design and integrity; the transition between analog and digital print organisations, in thinking as in technology; the history of printing, as evidenced by his deployment of the transitional technology of the IBM Selectric typewriter in the composition of images as well as texts; and the notion that graphics (figures, cartoons, maps, and charts – with and without words) can be imbued with the figuration and articulatory nuance characteristic of verse. Throughout McCaffery's double compilation volume, Seven Pages Missing (2000 and 2002), the poet explicitly registers the transformations in communications, information, and technology that he could not help but experience around him. His poetic experiments are concurrent with luminous introductions to the cybernetic universe furnished by the likes of Anthony Wilden and Douglas Hofstadter. McCaffery's experiments, in their boldness and scope, also shed light on the venerable, ongoing cultural play between analog and digital: not period-specific or bound to particular technologies of calculation, communications, and reproduction.

Abstract:
In Indonesia, many manufacturing industry companies large and small are trying to make products of good quality to the market. This is because only companies that have good product quality can compete and survive. PT. Fajar Makassar Grafika is a subsidiary of Fajar Group that specifically handles newspaper printing production, in carrying out the process of newspaper production there are still many problems with product defects that are not by the standards of the company. The method used in this study is the Six sigma method using DMAIC stages (define, measure, analyze, improve and control). Six Sigma is one of the tools commonly used in product quality control. This method has the concept of setting quality standards until it reaches 3.4 rejects per one million possibilities.Based on the results of analysis with the Six Sigma method it has been known that in the production process there are 5 types of defects, namely blurred mold defects, dirty prints, not registers, folded and torn newspapers with sigma levels obtained at 3.92 with an average damage rate of 7760 for one million productions (DPMO). From the analysis of fishbone diagrams can be known the causal factors of defective products derived from machine, material and human factors. The proposed improvement is done using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) analysis, so that the company can take precautions and improvements to reduce defective products and improve product quality

Abstract:
In spite of the advantages of high throughput and a low manufacturing cost conferred by the gravure printing method, it has been shown that antennas printed using the gravure printing method do not offer satisfactory performance because of the limitations of the conductive materials used as ink. In this article, a roll-to-roll gravure-offset printing system is proposed for the manufacturing of printed ultra-high frequency radio frequency identification (RFID) tag antennas. Antennas printed using the multi-layer gravure-offset system are also demonstrated with their performances. The gravure-offset printing system mainly consists of three printing parts, i.e. drying units, vision systems, and register control systems for multi-layer printings. In the identification range test using an RFID reader, compared to the conventional RFID tags with copper-etched antennas, which show the identification range of about 3.2 m on average, the three-layer printed antennas with bonded tag chips exhibit the identification range of about 1.8 m on average (i.e. the performance of about 60 per cent of conventional copper-etched antennas), which implies that the printed antennas could be applicable to real fields.

Abstract:
The manufacture of printed electronics by roll-to-roll printing machine requires more accurate register performance than conventional media printing technology. Moreover, high drying temperature and long drying time to sinter the inks can induce the substantial changes in the length of the substrate and consequently register errors. Among the roll-to-roll printing methods, the gravure one, despite its relatively fast productivity and fine-line printing capacity, has difficulty in achieving the required register specifications for printed electronics because of the dependence of the register control on web dynamics. This study proposes a roll-to-roll gravure-offset printing equipment, including the register measurement system designed to enhance register performance and the related register control method for the application of printed electronics. Each cylinder constituting the printing unit is driven independently by an individual servomotor. Moreover, the printing patterns of the plate cylinder can move in the axial direction by position control, as well as in the web transport direction by a phase shift of the plate cylinder, without affecting the dynamics of the web. The time difference between the measurement and the actual control action is considered and modeled. The register measurement system, including selections of sensors and marks is also proposed to consider the effect of the time difference. The simulation results and the experiments of the register control are shown to verify the effect of the time difference on the control performances. It is found that a proper estimation of time difference should be obtained in order to guarantee more accurate and stable control performances.

Abstract:
In the latest type of gravure printing machines referred to as the shaft-less drive system, each gravure printing roller is driven by an individual servo motor, and all motors are electrically synchronized. The register error is regulated by a speed difference between the adjacent printing rollers. In order to improve the control accuracy of register system, an accurate mathematical model of the register system should be investigated for the latest machines. Therefore, the mathematical model of the machine directional register (MDR) system is studied for the multicolor gravure printing machines in this paper. According to the definition of the MDR error, the model is derived, and then it is validated by the numerical simulation and experiments carried out in the experimental setup of the four-color gravure printing machines. The results show that the established MDR system model is accurate and reliable.

Abstract:
Register control systems are a necessary technical measure and an important means of large-scale roll-to-roll industrial printing production. They are effective in reducing the generation of unqualified printing products and improving the accuracy and stability of industrial printing production lines. In this paper, we propose a new register control algorithm that effectively improves the detection accuracy and compensation speed of printing register control systems. Firstly, according to the principle of register color mark detection, a new pulse-width subdivision detection algorithm is proposed, which can greatly improve the accuracy of register error detection without increasing the resolution of external encoder pulse signals. Then, the optimized error compensation method can adaptively adjust the corresponding system parameters, such as the output intensity, error filtering period and output period, according to the current register error size. The new output method greatly improves the error compensation speed without increasing error oscillation. Lastly, the experimental results of 0.01 mm show that the proposed control approach significantly improves the detection accuracy of register errors. Furthermore, the new control algorithm can be applied in the industrial field.

With the register detection problems in the rotary screen printing process, the curve matching strategy was proposed to get the position vector of off-pattern-topping, on the basis of the proposed rotary screen printing machine automatic register detection system based on machine vision. In order to ensure the capture positions of the target edge image and the standard edge image is the same, Fourier-Mellin curve matching was used to match them to eliminate the shooting error;then the curve matching method, based on the Fourier transform shift theorem, was used to match the well-tuned target edge image and the standard edge image to detect the register error. The matching strategy eliminated the error, and the computation is small. The experiments show that its detection accuracy and the computing speed can meet the requirements of the fabric register detection on line.

Abstract:
Background: In cases with solid tumors, preoperative radiological investigations provide valuable information on the anatomy of the tumor and the adjoining structures, thus helping in operative planning. However, due to a two-dimensional view in these investigations, a detailed spatial relationship is difficult to decipher. In contrast, three-dimensional (3D) printing technology provides a precise topographic view to perform safe surgical resections of these tumors. This systematic review aimed to summarize and analyze current evidence on the utility of 3D printing in pediatric extra-cranial solid tumors. Methods: The present study was registered on PROSPERO—international prospective register of systematic reviews (registration number: CRD42020206022). PubMed, Embase, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar databases were explored with appropriate search criteria to select the relevant studies. Data were extracted to study the bibliographic information of each article, the number of patients in each study, age of the patient(s), type of tumor, organ of involvement, application of 3D printing (surgical planning, training, and/or parental education). The details of 3D printing, such as type of imaging used, software details, printing technique, printing material, and cost were also synthesized. Results: Eight studies were finally included in the systematic review. Three-dimensional printing technology was used in thirty children with Wilms tumor (n = 13), neuroblastoma (n = 7), hepatic tumors (n = 8), retroperitoneal tumor (n = 1), and synovial sarcoma (n = 1). Among the included studies, the technology was utilized for preoperative surgical planning (five studies), improved understanding of the surgical anatomy of solid organs (two studies), and improving the parental understanding of the tumor and its management (one study). Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging were either performed alone or in combination for radiological evaluation in these children. Different types of printers and printing materials were used in the included studies. The cost of the 3D printed models and time involved (range 10 h to 4–5 days) were reported by two studies each. Conclusions: 3D printed models can be of great assistance to pediatric surgeons in understanding the spatial relationships of tumors with the adjacent anatomic structures. They also facilitate the understanding of families, improving doctor–patient communication.

Abstract:
The use of machine vision technology is being investigated at VTT for improving the colour quality and productivity of web offset printing. The visual inspection of colour quality is performed by a colour CCD camera which traverses the moving web under a stroboscopic light. The measuring locations and goal values for the colour register, the ink density and the grey balance are automatically determined from the PostScript™ description of the digital page. A set of criteria is used to find the most suitable spots for the measurements. In addition to providing data for on-line control, the page analysis estimates the zone wise link consumption of the printing plates as a basis for presetting the ink feed. Target calorimetric CIE-values for grey balance and critical colours are determined from the image originals. The on-line measurement results and their derivations from the target values are displayed in an integrated manner. The paper gives test results of computation times, measurements of register error with and without test targets and the colour measuring capabilities of the system. The results show that machine vision can be used for on-line inspection of colour print quality. This makes it possible to upgrade older printing presses to produce a colour quality that is competitive with more modern presses.

Abstract:
Background: Three-dimensional (3D) printing is becoming increasingly popular around the world not only in engineering but also in the medical industry. This trend is visible, especially in aortic modeling for both training and treatment purposes. As a result of advancements in 3D technology, patients can be offered personalized treatment of aortic lesions via physician-modified stent grafts (PMSG), which can be tailored to the specific vascular conditions of the patient. The objective of this systematic review was to investigate the utility of 3D printing in PMSG in aortic lesion repair by examining procedure time and complications. Methods: The systematic review has been performed using the PRISMA 2020 Checklist and PRISMA 2020 flow diagram and following the Cochrane Handbook. The systematic review has been registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews: CRD42024526950. Results: Five studies with a total number of 172 patients were included in the final review. The mean operation time was 249.95± 70.03 min, and the mean modification time was 65.38 ± 10.59 min. The analysis of the results indicated I2 of 99% and 100% indicating high heterogeneity among studies. The bias assessment indicated the moderate quality of the included research. Conclusions: The noticeable variance in the reviewed studies’ results marks the need for larger randomized trials as clinical results of 3D printing in PMSG have great potential for patients with aortic lesions in both elective and urgent procedures.

The offset printing system dominates for the number of prints with medium to small quantities, in the printing process it requires skills and techniques in the printing process from the design process, to the manufacture of offset plates. Many problems that often arise from paper materials and printing techniques, efforts to control the problem of misregister printing on offset sheet-fed machines come from paper that is not angled and from machine factors because the machine is not maintained and because the number of prints is small so the operator ignores the printing process procedure the data is taken from the Pareto analysis tool to the printing process at Indah Sakti Printing on Rawamagun Roast Chicken packaging located in Central Jakarta. From the factors causing problems in the process of printing the “Panggang Rawamangun” cardboard packaging on the SM 52 offset sheet-fed machine, the problem is that the gripper pressure is not right so that the print register is difficult to reach and often changes. How to control the prints in the process of printing cardboard packaging by applying the design to be printed in order to minimize the cause of this print misregisters. on the SM 52 offset sheet-fed machine.

Abstract:
Since the increase in the price of newsprint in Indonesia, in some newspaper printers, the waste of dirty newspapers has increased, reaching more than 4%. This is due to frequent paper breaks when printing at speeds above 30,000 per hour. The paper often breaks because it is affected by the tension of the newsprint, it does not have sufficient strength when webbing is done on the web offset newspaper printing machine. And the influence of webbing also turns out to be able to affect the quality of the color print register on the web offset newspaper printing machine. To determine the existence of this influence, research was carried out on measuring the speed of the printing machine, and its relationship with paper tension. Which is measured on the paper that passes before and after the dancing roller, which is matched with observations on the results of the print register. Observations were made at low, medium, and high speeds. From the results of observations and research, it turns out that at low speeds there is a tendency for the tension of the paper to loosen, different at medium and high speeds makes the tension of the newsprint, the stretch becomes tighter. The changes in paper tension are then matched with the accuracy of the print register, it can be concluded that if the paper tension is getting better, the results of the accuracy of the print register are also getting better.

Abstract:
SUMMARY BACKGROUND: The use of the 3D printer in complex cardiac surgery planning. OBJECTIVES: To analyze the use and benefits of 3D printing in heart valve surgery through a systematic review of the literature. METHODS: This systematic review was reported following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and registered in the Prospero (International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews) database under the number CRD42017059034. We used the following databases: PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, Web of Science and Lilacs. We included articles about the keywords “Heart Valves”, “Heart Valve Prosthesis Implantation”, “Heart Valve Prosthesis”, “Printing, Three-Dimensional”, and related entry terms. Two reviewers independently conducted data extraction and a third reviewer solved disagreements. All tables used for data extraction are available at a separate website. We used the Cochrane Collaboration tool to assess the risk of bias of the studies included. RESULTS: We identified 301 articles and 13 case reports and case series that met the inclusion criteria. Our studies included 34 patients aged from 3 months to 94 years. CONCLUSIONS: Up to the present time, there are no studies including a considerable number of patients. A 3D-printed model produced based on the patient enables the surgeon to plan the surgical procedure and choose the best material, size, format, and thickness to be used. This planning leads to reduced surgery time, exposure, and consequently, lower risk of infection.

Abstract:
To improve the control precision of the nonlinear register system for flexographic printing, a feedforward active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) parameter self-tuning decoupling control strategy based on radial basis function (RBF) is proposed to address the existence of coupling interference and multiple working conditions. Firstly, according to the structure of the flexographic printing equipment system and registration principle, a nonlinear mathematical model of the global registration system is established and linearized using the small deviation method. Secondly, the decoupled controller of the register system is designed by integrating feedforward control, ADRC, and RBF, in which the feedforward control is used to eliminate the registration errors caused by modeled disturbances, the ADRC performs the estimation and compensation of unmodeled disturbances, and the RBF realizes the self-tuning of the ADRC controller parameters. Finally, different operating conditions are simulated to compare and verify the control performance of the proposed controller. Simulation results show that the designed controller has a better performance compared to traditional PID and ADRC control, and its register error peak is reduced by about 32% compared to ADRC, achieving the high accuracy control of a multi-color register system.

Abstract:
Online defect detection system is a necessary technical measure and important means for large-scale industrial printing production. It is effective to reduce artificial detection fatigue and improve the accuracy and stability of industry printing line. However, the existing defect detection algorithms are mainly developed based on high-quality database and it is difficult to detect the defects on low-quality printing images. In this paper, we propose a new multi-edge feature fusion algorithm which is effective in solving this problem. Firstly, according to the characteristics of sheet-fed printing system, a new printing image database is established; compared with the existing databases, it has larger translation, deformation, and uneven illumination variation. These interferences make defect detection become more challenging. Then, SIFT feature is employed to register the database. In order to reduce the number of false detections which are caused by the position, deformation, and brightness deviation between the detected image and reference image, multi-edge feature fusion algorithm is proposed to overcome the effects of these disturbances. Lastly, the experimental results of mAP (92.65%) and recall (96.29%) verify the effectiveness of the proposed method which can effectively detect defects in low-quality printing database. The proposed research results can improve the adaptability of visual inspection system on a variety of different printing platforms. It is better to control the printing process and further reduce the number of operators.

Abstract:
AbstractA field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis was carried out to determine the origin of the oriental printing inks used inThe Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, which are a national treasure of the Republic of Korea and listed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register. The average diameters of the carbon black found in the printing inks of all the samples were in the range of 30–500 nm. The carbon black diameters of the printing inks in J-Se 68, J-Se 124, and T-Gwang 37 were 80–130 nm, whereas those of the printing inks in J-Seong 1, T-In 46, and T-Heon 4 were larger than 150 nm. It could be concluded that the printing inks in J-Se 68, J-Se 124, and T-Gwang 37 are lampblack ink, and those in J-Seong 1, T-In 46, and T-Heon 4 are charcoal ink. Furthermore, the results of infrared (IR) and principal component analysis (PCA) of printing inks suggest that there was no difference in the binding medium used in the manufacturing process of the charcoal ink stick and the lampblack ink stick.

Abstract:
The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the marginal fit and internal adaptation of provisional crowns and fixed dental prostheses (FDPs) fabricated using 3D-printing resins and compared them with those fabricated by CAD/CAM (computer-aided designing/computer-aided manufacturing) milling and conventional resins. The null hypotheses tested were that there would be no differences in the marginal fit and internal adaptation of 3D-printed provisional crowns and FDP resins when compared to CAD/CAM-milled and conventional provisional resins. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines were used to construct this systematic review. The focused PICO/PECO (Population, Intervention/Exposure, Comparison, Outcome) question was “Do provisional crowns and FDPs (P) fabricated by 3D-printing (I) have similar marginal adaptation and internal fit (O) when compared to those fabricated by CAD/CAM milling and conventional techniques (C)?”. The protocol used for this systematic review was pre-registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO). Electronic databases (e.g., MEDLINE/PubMed and Web of Science (Core Collection)) were systematically searched for indexed English literature published up to June 2022. In the initial electronic search of the selected databases, 519 articles were identified. Duplicates were removed, and screening was performed to select the articles that met the preset inclusion criteria. Sixteen studies were selected for qualitative analysis, but only ten of them provided comparative data and were selected for quantitative analysis. The modified CONSORT scale was used for qualitative analysis, and most of the included studies were rated to be of moderate quality. Based on the findings, it could be concluded that provisional crowns and FDPs fabricated from 3D-printing resins have a superior marginal fit and internal adaptation when compared to CAD/CAM-milled and conventional provisional resins; thus, they can be used as a dependable alternative to other resins.

Abstract:
Purpose – Most of the total quality management (TQM) programmes implemented in the printing industry fail to produce the intended benefit, because of the view that quality achievement is workers responsibility. The purpose of this paper is to examine the role management plays in the implementation of TQM programme in the Ghanaian printing firms. Design/methodology/approach – The study employed mixed method in gathering relevant data. A cross-sectional survey questionnaire was given to 145 managers of registered members of Ghana Printers and Paper Converters Association, Southern Sector to assess the role management plays in TQM programme. Key informant interview was conducted among ten randomly selected production managers of printing firms to complement the survey data. Findings – The study finds out that organizational performance (OP) is not significantly influenced by the level of commitment of top management in a printing organization. Rather OP is greatly influenced and determined by leadership styles of management and the quality policy which guides printing operations. Practical implications – The Ghanaian printing industry can ensure better OP by considering the kind of leadership style exhibited in the firm and develop quality policy to guides printing operations and activities. No matter the level of commitment of organizational resources, if it is not back by a good leadership style and a quality policy, TQM initiative will not yield the intended result. Originality/value – The study presents managerial issues and practices critical for successful TQM programme in the Ghanaian printing industry.
