Abstract:
‘Revisionist’ historians, led by David Loades, have begun to reexamine various aspects of the reign of Mary Tudor and thus to challenge traditional interpretations. Anyone considering the religious history of that period eventually encounters Cardinal Reginald Pole's refusal to accept into England some members of the newly founded Society of Jesus. Concurrent with the reappraisal of Mary's reign, a similar re-examination has dominated early Jesuit historiography. This work, which has generally passed unnoticed by Tudor historians, highlights the encouragement and support that the Society received from reformers, spirituali such as Cardinal Gasparo Contarini and Cardinal Giovanni Morone and, equally important, the attacks that both suffered from their common critics, for example from Gian Pietro Carafa (later Pope Paul iv), and Melchor Cano. One of that circle was Cardinal Reginald Pole. As research elucidates the relationship between that group and the Jesuits, it adds a new dimension to the old question: why did Pole resist Jesuit involvement in the restoration of English Catholicism? It is the purpose of this article to bring the two fields together and so first to demonstrate how developments in Jesuit historiography challenge established views and, second, to propose a more plausible interpretation.

Abstract:
ABSTRACTIn the period 1520–50 there was a large English community in the Veneto. This has traditionally been associated with the household of Reginald Pole, who is believed to have dispensed learning and patronage to those who went to the University of Padua in search of a continental education. However, an examination of both primary and secondary sources for the life of Pole suggests that he was only one of a number of reference points for young English scholars and travellers. Of equal, and perhaps greater, importance was the household of Edmund Harvell, a merchant who became English ambassador to the Republic. His household was philo-protestant in tone, and linked to Venetian dissenters and literary circles. These two central figures presented English scholars with the chance to experience the varying strands of Venetian political and religious philosophy at a time of great intellectual vitality. Men such as Richard Morison and Thomas Starkey returned home to write books about English government and society. When their work is set against the Venetian milieu of Harvell and Pole, we can gain a greater understanding of those Venetian influences which underpinned English political thought in the Tudor period and beyond.

In this examination of the piety and devotional books of Reginald Pole and his friends, three booklists are compared: Pole's own, and those of Marcantonio Flaminio and Michael Throckmorton. The article also probes their comments and choices about reading and prayer, sacrament and preaching, as well as the observations of contemporaries. Piety in Pole's household was nourished principally by the Bible, the Fathers and the Imitation of Christ, but scriptural commentaries by suspect reformers also became part of their devotional reading, moulding religious identities which were unusual and became dangerous.

Abstract:
This thesis intends to present the career of Regina Vater, a Brazilian artist. This in turn, is accomplished through an analysis of interviews and of her personal art collection. Additionally, it purports to provide an analysis juxtaposing the concept of her memory objects with a critical and theoretical view of her art work. Based on the granted access to her collection, sources are taken into account as well as documents, art objects and signifying elements, which give meaning to the art work presented. The structural hypothesis of this research is based on the thesis that, in this particular space, as the artist gathers and organizes her own trajectory, she also sheds light in ways of managing her own art work. This study also aims to restore the relevance of Regina Valters art work within the national art scene. With regards to Guy Bretts considerations, we believe the lengthy recognition of Regina Valters art work by the Brazilian art circuit is mainly due to a wide diversity in the media, formats and technologies encompassed by Regina Valters art production. It is noted that the artist work is mainly grounded on experimentation, conceptual idea and processes of art production. Driven by these concerns and supported by the granted access to the artist collection, the thesis seeks to elucidate pertinent questions in the realm of an unstable Contemporary Art field, such as: Is it possible to observe the artist performance through her art collection despite slightest historical distance in the context of a specific generation? Are strategies and conceptual framework identifiable under which her art production revolves around? How can boundaries be set with regards to access to the artist collection and/or work of relevance? There is no way to dismiss the character of intimacy generated by the contact with the artist in this study. Influenced by Regina Valters work and words, this thesis aims to signal the contribution of her work to the Brazilian art scene, and hence give voice to Regina Valter herself.
Esta tese propõe apresentar o percurso artístico da artista brasileira Regina Vater, por meio da análise de seus depoimentos, de seu acervo pessoal e do cruzamento desses objetos de memória com textos críticos e teóricos em torno de seu trabalho. A partir do acesso ao seu acervo, as fontes são consideradas como documentos, objetos de arte e elementos agenciadores de sentido. A hipótese estrutural desta investigação apoia-se na tese de que, nesse espaço particular, a artista, ao reunir e organizar sua própria trajetória propõe também o gerenciamento de sentidos de sua obra. Outro objetivo é recompor sua relevância no cenário artístico nacional. Reportando às considerações do crítico Guy Brett, acreditamos que a morosidade do circuito de arte brasileiro em reconhecer a obra de Regina Vater deve-se à diversidade das mídias, formatos e tecnologias gestados na produção de seu trabalho, pautado principalmente pela experimentação, pela ideia/conceito e pelo processo. Movida por estas inquietações e amparada pelo acesso ao próprio acervo da artista, esta tese procura responder algumas questões nesse território movediço e incerto da Arte Contemporânea e também da memória presente nos acervos de artista: é possível observar sua atuação, apesar do pouco distanciamento histórico, no contexto de uma geração específica? É possível demarcar estratégias e estruturas conceituais sob as quais suas produções gravitam? Como demarcar espaços de acesso ao seu acervo e/ou obras de relevância? Não há como despojar desta pesquisa o caráter de intimidade gerado pelo contato com a artista. Contaminada por sua arte e por suas palavras, este trabalho busca sinalizar o lugar de sua obra, e principalmente dar voz a Regina Vater.

El cerezo es una especie que se ha ido expandiendo en la Zona Centro y Sur de Chile, debido a su rentabilidad económica, sin embargo, pese al tiempo que se cultiva en el país, aún persiste una serie de aspectos que han impedido alcanzar los rendimientos potenciales, sobre todo en las variedades con mejor proyección como Kordia y Regina. La caracterización morfológica floral permite conocer y determinar las características de diferentes poblaciones en distintas condiciones de cultivo. Con el objetivo de ampliar la información disponible acerca de las variedades Kordia y Regina, se llevó a cabo, durante la temporada 2010-2011 la caracterización morfológica de sus flores. Para ésta actividad se evaluaron siete huertos de la Zona Centro y Sur de Chile, injertados sobre distintos patrones. Adicionalmente, se analizó el rendimiento de los huertos y la viabilidad del polen in vitro, en cada caso evaluado. Se registró las temperaturas máximas y mínimas durante la floración en cada uno de los huertos. En cada huerto se evaluó variables como: diámetro de la corola, diferencia de altura entre estigma y estambres, largo del pedicelo, diámetro del tubo floral, ancho de las anteras, largo del pistilo, ancho del ovario, tamaño del óvulo, ancho de la pared ovárica. Existe variabilidad morfológica y productiva entre los casos evaluados; el ancho del tubo floral y de corola se encontró dentro de rangos estrechos, con resultados muy similares entre los casos. Algunas variables fueron escogidas para realizar un análisis de componentes principales (ACP) y un análisis de conglomerados; el dendograma mostró tres grupos principales: el primero con flores pequeñas en Los Ángeles, Huerto la Joyita, el segundo en Molina, Huerto El Manzano con las flores de mayor tamaño y los mejores rendimientos y un tercer grupo con el resto de las muestras evaluadas. Se encontró una relación negativa entre el largo del pistilo y la diferencia entre el estigma y los estambres. Los rendimientos se relacionaron de manera lineal y positiva con el porcentaje de germinación del polen.
Sweet cherry growing area has been expanded in the South Central area of Chile, due to its profitability. However, despite the time that it has been grown in the country, still persist a number of issues that have impeded reaching potential yields, especially in varieties with good projection as ´Kordia` and `Regina´ In order to expand the information about this specie, a study was conducted during the 2010-2011 season, consisting of the morphological characterization of sweet cherry flowers of ´Kordia` and `Regina´, grafted on different rootstocks in seven orchards in the South Central area of Chile. Additionally yield data and vitro pollen viability was determined in all cases Morphological variables of the flowers were evaluated: corolla diameter, height difference between stigma and anthers, pedicel long, calyx diameter, width of anthers, pistil length, width of the ovary, egg size, and width of the ovary wall. Also, maximum and minimum temperatures were measure at the bloom time in every orchard. The results showed variability morphological and productive in the evaluated cases, however the width of calyx and anthers were within a narrow range, with similar results between cases. Some variables were chosen to perform principal component analysis (PCA) and cluster analysis, the dendrogram showed three main groups, according flower size. A negative relationship between the main components along the pistil and the difference between stigma and stamens was found. Yields were linked linearly and positively with pollen germination percentage.

Reginald Pole's 1532 return to Italy, where he had spent five years between 1521 and 1526 to complete his studies, marked the beginning of his rapid rise in the ecclesiastical hierarchy. Not only did the Plantagenet cousin of Henry VIII come close to being elected pope, but he also became the focus of the widespread expectations of Church reform. For his part, however, Pole did never outline a concrete programme for reform, not even in his De reformatione Ecclesiae, on which he worked from the eve of the council of Trent until the last years of his life. The numerous versions of this unpublished treatise have been the starting point of my study, which examines the apparent contradiction between Pole's silence on the practical measures to restore Peter's ship to its pristine state and the high hopes he aroused as a reformer, to the extent that he was often hailed as the long-awaited Angelic Pope. The analysis of De reformatione shows a peculiar conception of reform, grounded in Pole's "radical eclecticism" (both at philosophical and at doctrinal level) as well as in his belief in the coexistence of the exoteric ecclesiastical institution and the esoteric spiritual Church. The development of this unconventional ecclesiology was significantly inspired by a usually neglected source, that is to say the Joachimist tradition within which the prophetic myth of the Angelic Pope developed before reaching Pole, at the time of his first sojourn in Italy. These convictions led him, along with the circle of the spirituali of Viterbo, to put into practice a reform outside of the Tridentine council, by means of the same non-institutional channels through which they attempted to spread the religious message that lay at the heart of their undeclared programme.

Introdução: As doenças inflamatórias intestinais representam um conjunto de doenças crônicas que englobam como principais patologias a doença de Crohn e a colite ulcerativa que estão relacionadas a distúrbios nutricionais, deficiências de vitaminas, fatores genéticos e ambientais levando a má regulação da microbiota intestinal desencadeando lesões gastrointestinais. Objetivo: Abordar as principais adversidades das doenças inflamatórias intestinais, enfatizando os distúrbios nutricionais envolvidos. Material e métodos: A presente pesquisa segue os princípios e diretrizes de uma revisão de literatura. Foram consultadas as bases de dados online, Scientic Eletronic Online (SciELO), National Library of Medicine (Pubmed) e Bliblioteca Reginal de Medicina (Bireme); foram contemplados artigos publicados entre 2009 à 2019, incluindo os clássicos, nas línguas portuguesa, inglesa e espanhola. Resultados: A Doença de Crohn é caracterizada por uma inflação crônica do trato gastrointestinal que afeta predominantemente a parte inferior do intestino delgado e grosso, acometendo maioritariamente o público feminino; sua a manifestação está relacionada ao estilo de vida. Além de extensa, seu processo inflamatório pode dispor de complicações e como consequência as funções como absorção de nutrientes essenciais são afetadas e como resultado, a diarreia se torna um sintoma comum durante uma crise. Já a Colite Ulcerativa afeta o intestino grosso podendo ter início em qualquer idade, sendo caracterizada por inflamação e ulceração da camada mais superficial do cólon. Diarreias também é um sintoma muito comum que compromete a retenção de proteínas e vitaminas que provoca emagrecimento e anemia pela deficiência dos nutrientes essenciais. Conclusão: A excelente absorção de substâncias vitais ao organismo interfere diretamente na fisiologia humana e torna-se essencial para manutenção de funções básicas. As doenças inflamatórias intestinais geram inflamações nas paredes das mucosas intestinais afetando diretamente a absorção dos nutrientes, causando sintomas inespecíficos, interferindo no quadro nutricional do paciente refletindo diretamente sua qualidade de vida.

Muito conteúdo em forma de palestras e defesas de orientados de pesquisadores ativos e referencias em modelagem da informação da construção ficam dispersos ou são consumidos presencialmente somente por aqueles presentes nos eventos específicos onde as apresentações ocorrem. O conhecimento apresentado por pesquisadores ativos em BIM em palestras de disseminação da temática ou em defesas de pesquisas científicas carregam uma visão holística e ao mesmo tempo específica baseada no rigor acadêmico e científico, assim se diferenciando de palestras meramente com objetivos mercadológicos. Outro diferencial é a antecipação de resolução de problemas e respostas à lacuna do conhecimento norteador da pesquisa científica. Esse material é rico em conhecimento e se centralizado e tornado persistente pode apoiar atividades educacionais, de capacitação e de disseminação do BIM no Brasil. Esse resumo apresenta um esforço de resgate e disponibilização gratuita na licença de Creative Commons de palestras e defesas proferidas na temática de Modelagem de Informação da Construção realizadas pela pesquisadora Regina C. Ruschel (RUSCHEL, 2021). A proposta é dar suporte ao ensino de BIM por meio da metodologia ativa de sala de aula invertida. A sala de aula invertida consiste em inverter ações que ocorrem em sala de aula e fora dela. A transmissão dos conhecimentos, que no modelo tradicional, ocorre na sala de aula passa a ocorrer fora dela antes da aula em si. O material de estudo deve ser disponibilizado com antecedência para ser lido, assistido ou pesquisado pelo estudante. Na aula são realizados debates, projetos, simulações, trabalhos em grupos e obtidas solução de problemas tendo o aluno como protagonizador central, enquanto o professor é o mediador do processo de aprendizagem (VALENTE, 2014). Segundo Schneiders (2018, p. 67) o professor prepara os conteúdos e o compartilha, os alunos acessam o conteúdo, o professor acompanha esse acesso, em sala de aula os alunos apresentam suas dúvidas, o professor as esclarece, realiza-se uma atividade conjunta e após a aula revisa-se os conteúdos e se planeja um novo tópico. Nesse contexto, antes da aula desenvolvem-se as habilidade cognitivas de recordação e compreensão. Durante a aula o enfoque está em aplicar, analisar, avaliar e criar, analisar. Após a aula retoma-se todas as habilidades cognitivas desenvolvidas. Foi realizado um esforço de resgate e disponibilização gratuída, na licença de Creative Commons, de palestras e defesas proferidas na temática de Modelagem de Informação da Construção realizadas pela pesquisadora Regina C. Ruschel. A pesquisadora levantou em seu acervo pessoal um total de 59 palestras sobre a temática de BIM. Essas palestras ocorreram entre 2011 e 2021 sendo em eventos acadêmicos e não acadêmicos. Na grande maioria as palestras abordam o significado do BIM, estratégias de ensino e capacitação, desenvolvimento de usos específicos e tendências. Foi realizada uma classificação e priorização e iniciada a regravação das palestras que variam em duração de trinta minutos a uma hora. Foram criadas playlist no canal do YouTube associada à conta pessoal da pesquisadora. Essa opção, em contraposição a um canal institucional foi adotada visto que o vínculo da pesquisadora como professora colaboradora é instável, podendo resultar em descontinuidade. Na regravação das palestras participa apenas a pesquisadora. No entanto, na regravação das defesas participam o orientado e a pesquisadora. Orientamos nesse resumo como aplicar dois vídeos de palestras que abordam: competências BIM, processo de implantação BIM em projetos, usos do BIM, tecnologias BIM e a avaliação de desempenho em processo de concepção arquitetônica. Observa-se a riqueza de temas abrangidos em apenas duas palestras. O vídeo da palestra regravada do III ENCONTRO DE USUÁRIOS BIM DA BAHIA promovido pela Universidade Federal da Bahia e NÚCLEO BIM apresenta o conceito de competências BIM e quais competências são necessárias no processo de implantação do BIM em projeto. Também aborda-se as competências BIM possíveis de serem fomentadas em cursos de graduação de Engenharia Civil e Arquitetura e Urbanismo. Esse vídeo pode ser utilizado como preparação de aulas para o desenvolvimento de Planos de Execução BIM (PEB). Em sala de aula o professor pode promover atividades de aplicação simulada, criação ou analise de PEB para uma empresa fictícia ou uma empresa representada pela competência dos alunos envolvidos. Pode-se discutir instrumentos de diagnóstico de competências existentes para a tomada de decisão de treinamentos requeridos dado um PEB desejado. As referências apresentadas na descrição do vídeo também são indicativos de leitura para o material da sala de aula invertida. O vídeo “Avaliação em BIM na concepção de projeto: integração entre múltiplos desempenhos“ é a regravação da palestra proferida em 02/2021 no evento da ASHRAE abordando os impactos da modelagem da informação da construção em projetos de construção civiL promovido pelo Student Branch ArchTech-Labaut SP realizado pela Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo. A palestra associou os conceitos de processo de projeto da metodologia de projeto arquitetônico com os processos e tecnologias BIM. Entre análise, síntese a avaliação, da concepção de projeto, foi dado o enfoque na avaliação. Foi apresentada a problemática da integração de múltiplos desempenhos ambientais na concepção de projeto e como BIM media esse processo. Esse vídeo é rico em conteúdo e pode ser utilizado na preparação de aulas invertidas que abordam o desenho de mapas de processo, a associação de tecnologias ao usos e os usos do BIM como a coordenação 3D ou detecção de interferências e avaliações de desempenho ambiental. Em sala de aula o professor pode promover atividades de desenhos de mapas de processo específicos ou a macro integração de mapas de processos. As referências apresentadas na descrição do vídeo é extensa e amplia com pesquisas internacionais e nacionais, principalmente, a leitura para preparação da sala de aula invertida. Essa plataforma de conteúdo tem grande potencial de transformação do conhecimento científico de BIM em material didático que fomenta o aprendizado e ensino continuado.
