Il nostro lavoro si propone come uno sguardo-attraverso il pensiero di Alfred Schütz, al fine di evidenziare il leit motiv del lavoro del sociologo-filosofo austriaco, ovvero quello della costruzione e condivisione della realtà da parte degli attori sociali. Il punto di partenza è costituito dall’analisi del saggio del 1945 di Schütz Sulle realtà multiple, in cui l’autore si prefigge lo scopo di affrontare la questione della realtà riprendendo le analisi compiute da William James sul tale questione, e esposte in un celebre capitolo de I Principii di psicologia. Schütz assume la definizione jamesiana del reale affermando che tutto quello che assorbe e riesce a trattenere la nostra attenzione, orientando il nostro sentire ed agire, è in qualche modo reale, e riprende l’idea di James delle molteplici realtà in cui vive il soggetto umano, ma anziché parlare di “sotto-universi”, utilizza l’espressione “province finite di significato” per sottolineare che la realtà sia costituita dall’insieme delle nostre esperienze, e non dalla struttura ontologica della realtà. Inoltre egli, nel saggio Don Chisciotte e il problema della realtà, finisce per ancorare la questione della realtà al tema della costruzione intersoggettiva di essa: ciò che intendiamo per reale e come reale è ciò che crediamo reale. Ma tale credenza è possibile solo se convalidata intersoggettivamente, ovvero se è il risultato di un accordo intersoggettivo che si basa in parte sulla tradizione di ogni gruppo sociale e in parte è costantemente riprodotto e confermato dall’attiva prestazione di fede da parte degli attori sociali. Pertanto si è cercato di dimostrare come la questione dell’intersoggettività si dimostri fondamentale ai fini del rapporto tra fenomenologia e scienze umane, e in particolar modo per la fondazione di una sociologia di stampo fenomenologico quale quella di Alfred Schütz, che riprendendo la lezione di Max Weber, riconosce, che tutte le scienze sociali si occupano del problema della comprensione dell’azione umana, e inverte l’impostazione husserliana che collocava la radice dell’alterità e quindi dell’intersoggettività nella struttura del singolo soggetto. Schütz colloca la questione dell’intersoggettività non nell’ambito della fenomenologia trascendentale, ma in quella dell’atteggiamento naturale, ovvero nel mondo della vita quotidiana, che, per lui, è fin dall’inizio un mondo intersoggettivo. In tal modo l’ego non è più una monade solitaria, senza possibilità di contatto con altri ego, e quindi può, sempre insieme ad altri ego, costituire un mondo specificatamente umano, ovvero una dimensione, una “comunità sociale”. Questo punto ci ha permesso di soffermarci sulla fenomenologia del mondo sociale proposta da Schütz, e sull’analisi delle caratteristiche del mondo della vita quotidiana che lo rendono la “realtà preminente”, e di far notare, in limine, come la riflessione di Schütz non si limiti solo alla mera constatazione che il mondo della vita quotidiana sia la realtà fondamentale, ma come egli vada oltre proponendo una “serie di principi metodologici” che siano adeguati alle scienze sociali e ad una sociologia fenomenologica, e che non si rivelino fallimentari nel campo dell’intersoggettività.<br>Our work sets out as an overview regarding the thoughts of Alfred Schütz in order to highlight the Austrian sociologist and philosopher ‘s leitmotif , in other words a look at the construction and sharing of reality by the actors socially involved.
Our starting point is the analysis of Schultz’s 1945 essay on multiple realities, where the author seeks to address the issue of reality and takes into consideration the analyses carried out by William James regarding this topic and depicted in his famous chapter found in Principles of Psychology.
Schütz takes on the Jamesian definition of reality affirming that everything that absorbs and manages to hold our attention, directing our feelings and our our reactions, is in some way real. He picks up on the idea of James’s multiple realities within which human beings live, however instead of talking about “sub universes or alternative universes,” he utilizes the term, “significant finite provinces” in order to underline the fact that reality is the set of our experiences and does not involve the ontological structure of reality.
Furthermore, in his essay on Don Quixote and the issue of reality, he ends up anchoring the question of reality regarding the theme of its inter -subjective construction. In other words, what do we mean as real and what is real as we perceive as real.
This type of thinking is possible only if it is validated by inter -subjectively, in other words, it is the result of an inter- subjective agreement that is based, in part on the tradition of each social group and that is constantly reproduced and confirmed by the active performance of faith on behalf of the actors involved.
Therefore, we have tried to demonstrate how the question of inter -subjectivity proves crucial in regards to the relationship between phenomenology and human sciences. In particular, we find the establishment of a type of sociology based on phenomenology as in the case of Alfred Schütz, who follows the lesson of Max Weber and acknowledges that all the social sciences deal with the problem of the understanding of human actions and reverses the Husserl impostition that placed the foundation of the “other” and hence the idea of inter-subjectivity on the individual’s structure.
Schütz does not place the question of inter subjectivity in the realm of transcendental phenomenology, but in the natural sphere, which involves everyday life. For Schütz, this has always been an inter -subjective world. In this manner, one’s ego is no longer a solitary monad, with the possibility of meeting any other alter egos. Therefore, one can, together with other egos, make up a world which is specifically human, in other words a a dimension or a “social community.”
This point has allowed us to concentrate on the phenomenology of the social world as proposed by Schütz and dwell on the analysis of the characteristics of the world’s everyday life which makes us note that, from the onset, as we can see in Schütz ‘s reflections. He does not limit his considerations to the mere fact that the world of everyday life is the fundamental reality. He goes beyond by considering a series of methodological principles which are relevant to the Social Sciences and to the field of phenomenological sociology which does not turn out to be unsuccessful in the area of inter-subjectivity.

Oggi la famiglia "tradizionale" fondata sul matrimonio tra uomo e donna con figli, non è più l'unica tipologia di famiglia espressione della società italiana. I mutamenti sociali riguardanti le nuove famiglie stanno assumendo, anche nel nostro paese, una consistenza e una dimensione sempre maggiore. Le risposte della politica a queste realtà sono ancora limitate e terreno di scontro o di strumentalizzazione da parte delle forze politiche, soprattutto se si parla di unioni tra persone dello stesso sesso. Il fenomeno è molto ampio ed eterogeneo, ma prendendo in considerazione in particolare i nuclei monogenitoriali femminili e le famiglie "arcobaleno", attraverso un'analisi di testimonianze di persone che vivono nella loro quotidianità la realtà di famiglia atipica, si cerca di capire se, nonostante le differenze tra tipologia di nucleo, esista o possa esistere una "coscienza atipica" capace di comprendere tutte queste nuove famiglie a prescindere dalle diversità, in grado di sviluppare e attivare un percorso di nuove politiche e nuovi diritti per tutti questi nuclei.

Il servizio sociale ospedaliero è ad oggi una tematica poco affrontata ma di una grande rilevanza, dato che il ruolo dell’assistente sociale è fondamentale all’interno di un servizio sanitario anche se spesso tralasciata o marginalizzata.
L’esigua letteratura a disposizione e le leggi non chiare hanno reso questo studio abbastanza stimolante, lasciandomi un’ultima domanda: come può un assistente sociale intersecare la sua professionalità con le altre a stampo prettamente sanitario? qual è il valore aggiunto che l’Assistente Sociale porta nell’equipe multidisciplinare?
Come si sviluppa la relazione tra i pazienti e l’assistente sociale? Quali i punti di forza e di criticità riscontrati all’interno del proprio lavoro?
Alla base di questi interrogativi e del mio desiderio di conoscere a fondo questa tematica nasce questa tesi in parte descrittiva ed in parte di ricerca sul tema del Servizio Sociale Ospedaliero in Italia e più nello specifico all’interno del territorio Veneto.
In questo elaborato si andrà a sviluppare in una prima parte l’osservazione e lo studio del Servizio Sociale ospedaliero professionale, verranno esaminati i cambiamenti della medicina, della settorializzazione delle competenze e si proseguirà analizzando i cambiamenti storici e legislativi avvenuti in Italia e in Veneto, analizzando il ruolo del servizio sociale in sanità con particolare riferimento al servizio sociale ospedaliero, i suoi compiti, le sue particolarità, presentando modelli e strumenti utilizzati dall’Assistente Sociale nell’ambito lavorativo specifico dell’ospedale, sarà quindi una descrizione ed un’osservazione tramite la bibliografia di ciò che è conosciuto ed è stato studiato del Servizio Sociale ospedaliero.
La seconda parte della tesi presenterà la ricerca vera e propria, analizzando i servizi sociali ospedalieri presenti presso i maggiori ospedali del Veneto, utilizzando le interviste discorsive come strumento principe.
A questo studio prettamente territoriale, seguirà un approfondimento sulla dimensione organizzativa e relazionale all’interno del contesto ospedaliero, analizzandone un’area molto spesso tralasciata.
Questo studio di ricerca servirà a capire e verificare quali le differenze ed i punti i comune presenti nei vari servizi, e la relazione che intercorre tra assistente sociale e pazienti per avere un quadro globale della situazione all’interno del territorio e delle reti sociali attivate.

In questa Tesi cerco di confrontarmi con gli aspetti teorici e pratici della dispersione scolastica, quindi la definizione del termine stesso, le sue varie forme e cause, ma anche il quadro legislativo e strumenti del servizio sociale per contrastare questo fenomeno.
Usufruendo della mia esperienza professionale e attraverso il confronto con una rete di professionisti esperti sul campo, cerco di capire meglio le ricadute sociali delle ragazze e dei ragazzi in questione con l’obiettivo di realizzare uno studio sull’ efficacia ed efficienza delle varie offerte per gli adolescenti a rischio del territorio. Inoltre, spero di delineare una panoramica sulle cause del fenomeno, in quanto sarebbe importante per la progettazione degli interventi preventivi per contrastare il fenomeno ancora prima che si manifesti.
Nel primo capitolo cerco di entrare nell’aspetto teorico della dispersione scolastica, ossia la definizione, forme e cause della stessa. Nella letteratura italiana, questi termini sono stati elaborati in un modo molto diverso dagli autori studiati, mentre in quella tedesca ho riscontrato più omogeneità, ciononostante ho cercato di fare una panoramica sia degli studi tedeschi che di quelli italiani.
La seconda parte è caratterizzata di un’inchiesta qualitativa sull’esperienza e la percezione di varie figure professionali. Con questo metodo non riuscirò a produrre abbastanza materiale per uno studio scientifico, però avrò l’occasione di esaminare gli effetti del fenomeno su vari livelli, possibilmente creando la base per un eventuale studio successivo.

In un panorama cinematografico europeo spesso intimista e volto ad esplorare l’individuo borghese, Ken Loach ha la capacità unica di rappresentare il proletariato in una narrazione realista eppure ricca di significati altri. I film di Loach nascono sempre da uno studio approfondito dei fenomeni sociali e tentano di rispecchiare in storie singole i meccanismi politici ed economici e l’influenza che questi esercitano sulla vita dei singoli. Nei suoi film l’autore ha rappresentato ed analizzato i cambiamenti socio-economici avvenuti nell'Europa dalla seconda metà del 20° secolo.
Ken loach denuncia sempre l'oppressione del potere sugli ultimi, ma nella sua poetica gli oppressi trovano spesso vie di uscita alla dinamica di oppressione. Loach denuncia le conseguenze che le politiche economiche hanno avuto sui corpi e le menti delle persone e lo fa in modo sempre documentato, senza identificare nemici fantastici o ideologici, ma facendo i nomi dei colpevoli.
Il lavoro vuole partire dai fatti (le politiche liberiste e la loro diffusione nel quadro europeo) per verificare in primis quanto la rappresentazione loachiana sia verosimile e credibile e successivamente in che modo l’opera d’arte possa mostrare vie nuove per risolvere le questioni urgenti.

Questa tesi analizza gli aspetti peculiari caratterizzanti il fenomeno migratorio contemporaneo degli albanesi dall’area balcanica nell’area veneta. Esplora tre diversi ambiti disciplinari: studi sociali, studi culturali e studi sociolinguistici. La prima parte ricostruisce la fenomenologia e il quadro storico degli eventi migratori esplorandone le caratteristiche delineanti e viene studiato il background della società albanese contemporanea, al fine di comporre una visione integrale delle traiettorie incrociate degli albanesi nella storia comune della loro terra di origine, prima dell’arrivo nella loro terra di immigrazione. La seconda parte comprende i risultati delle ricerche sul campo relative alla questione sociale dei vari focus groups esaminati in Veneto e in Albania, in linea con la visione transnazionale della migrazione come fatto sociale duplice, studiato sia nel contesto di emigrazione che in quello di immigrazione. La terza parte concerne lo studio di alcuni aspetti della cultura albanese esportati, evoluti oppure trasformati dall’evento migratorio nei soggetti indagati, soprattutto negli albanesi di seconda generazione. Nella quarta parte si analizzano le produzioni linguistiche degli albanesi di seconda generazione per verificare le problematiche della preservazione della lingua albanese e le pratiche linguistiche differenziate di L1 e L2 (bilingual mode e code-switching) nei domini di riferimento (sociale o familiare).<br>This thesis is concerned with the analysis of the peculiar aspects characterizing the contemporary migration phenomena of the Albanians from the Balkan area to the Venetian region. It explores three disciplinary fields: the social, the cultural and sociolinguistic studies. In the first part, the respective phenomenology and historical framework of the migration’ events (1990-2010) are reconstructed in order to explore their delineating features. Besides, the contemporary Albanian society’s background (1985-2010) is studied with the purpose of compounding an integral view of the intersected trajectories of the Albanians in the history of their land of origin/of emigration, before their arrival in their land of immigration. The second part of this thesis includes the fieldworks’ results related to the social question of the different Albanian focus groups examined in Venetian region and Albania, compatible with the transnational vision of migration as a double social fact that concerns the researches conducted in either the emigration or the immigration contexts of the migrant. The third part of the study is concerned with the exported, evolved or transformed aspects of Albanian culture in the observed subjects, with particular attention to the second generation’ Albanians. In the fourth part, the linguistic productions of the second generation’ Albanians are analysed in order to verify the difficulties of preservation of the Albanian language, the differentiated linguistic practises of L1 and L2 (bilingual mode and code-switching) in the respective domains (social or family).

Il lavoro di ricerca intende aprire una riflessione inerente al valore delle pratiche portate avanti dalla sezione danza dell’organizzazione Operaestate Festival Veneto di Bassano del Grappa e agli intenti che si celano dietro a queste, legati a una nuova visione del ruolo e del potenziale, della pratica e della fruizione della danza all’interno della società. Emerge, difatti, il quadro di una realtà che si spinge ben oltre un Festival, in cui la danza esce dai teatri per rientrare nella vita quotidiana delle persone. La lettura dei processi, che stanno prendendo forma e si stanno evolvendo all’interno di questo contesto, avverrà alla luce di uno sguardo più ampio, che tiene conto dello sviluppo dell’articolata rete di relazioni che Operaestate Festival Danza / Centro per la Scena Contemporanea (CSC) ha coltivato tanto sul piano cittadino, regionale, nazionale, quanto soprattutto sul piano europeo e internazionale. Il primo caso di studio si riferisce alle attività che hanno segnato la conclusione del progetto europeo Migrant Bodies – Moving Borders: il simposio finale del 12 e 13 luglio 2019. Il secondo caso di studio concerne invece il progetto coreografico Folk Manifold, realizzato per la città di Bassano dalla coreografa Masako Matsushita in collaborazione con quattro danzatrici del territorio e il danzatore gambiano Lamin, portato in scena per la prima volta in piazza Garibaldi il 12 luglio 2019. La pratica e la fruizione della danza si fanno strumenti d’incontro, negoziazione e costruzione di relazioni, riposizionamenti, riappropriazione di spazi sociali e di visibilità, configurandosi come mezzi per dare avvio a processi di cambiamento all’interno della società. Particolarmente interessanti risultano il desiderio di artisti e operatori di espandere i confini della disciplina della danza contemporanea e assumere un ruolo attivo nel territorio, così come le strategie impiegate per raggiungere questi obbiettivi. Emergono in questo senso, nei progetti e nelle pratiche costruite nel contesto di Operaestate, numerose affinità con l’antropologia pubblica e applicata, sia da un punto di vista delle metodologie e dei principi di ricerca e di azione, sia da un punto di vista divulgativo. È presente il desiderio di ampliare il bacino di persone a cui ci si rivolge e di diffondere concetti e pratiche che permettano, ad esempio, il superamento degli stereotipi e delle difficoltà legate all’affrontare la diversità. Viene adottata l’espressione Public Dance, coniata da Tamisari in relazione alla costruzione del parallelismo sviluppato in questa tesi e alla scelta dei luoghi in cui si sviluppano i progetti e vengono agite le performance.

Una delle realtà criminali che ha maggiormente fruito delle innovazioni introdotte dalla “società dell’Informazione” è, senza dubbio, quella dell’abuso sessuale sui minori.
Tra le differenti forme di abuso sessuale sui minori, si è scelto di affrontare il fenomeno della
pedopornografia online in ragione del preoccupante diffondersi di questa forma di criminalità che, grazie all’implementazione delle tecnologie dell’informazione, ha assunto caratteri nuovi, per alcuni versi difformi dai “tradizionali” profili della pedofilia, che sollevano interrogativi e nuove sfide sia sul versante della repressione di queste condotte illecite, sia sul piano della prevenzione. Nell'ambito di questo contributo, saranno esaminate in particolare le politiche penali elaborate in due diverse realtà nazionali, l'Italia e la Francia, a partire da differenti punti di vista e ponendo particolare attenzione agli strumenti, normativi ed operativi, introdotti per reprimere lo sfruttamento sessuale dei minori legato alla dimensione virtuale.<br>Child sexual exploitation is, without doubt, one of the most increased crime since the advent of the “information society”. Among this context, it has been chosen to focus on child pornography by reason of its dangerous growth. In fact this crime gradually assumed new characters, due in particularly to the information technologies development. These new features are in some ways detached by the canons of “traditional” pedophilia, giving back furthermore questions and challenges both in terms of prevention and repression of these crimes. Within this contribution, specific criminal policies developed in two different national contexts, Italy and France, will be examined, starting from different points of view and focusing on both the operative and normative instruments, as already introduced in order to punish child sexual exploitation related to the virtual dimension.<br>Une des réalités criminelles qui a le plus bénéficié des innovations introduites par la “société de l'Information” est, sans aucun doute, celle de l'abus sexuel sur les mineurs. Celui-ci prend différentes formes, parmi lesquelles figure la pédopornographie en ligne, que nous avons choisi d’aborder plus particulièrement en raison de l’inquiétante diffusion de cette forme de criminalité. En effet, grâce à la mise en œuvre des technologies de l’information, elle revêt de nouvelles caractéristiques – à certains égards non-conformes aux profils « traditionnels » de la pédophilie – qui soulèvent des questions et de nouveaux défis tant dans le domaine de la lutte contre ces conduites illicites que sur le plan de la prévention.
Cette intervention propose d’examiner les politiques pénales élaborées dans le cadre de deux réalités nationales différentes – celles de l'Italie et de la France – à partir de plusieurs points de vue et en prêtant attention aux instruments, normatifs et opérationnels introduits pour réprimer l’exploitation sexuelle des mineurs liée à la dimension virtuelle.

Within this contribution, specific criminal policies developed in two different national contexts, Italy and France, will be examined, starting from different points of view and focusing on both the operative and normative instruments, as already introduced in order to punish child sexual exploitation related to the virtual dimension.<br>Une des réalités criminelles qui a le plus bénéficié des innovations introduites par la “société de l'Information” est, sans aucun doute, celle de l'abus sexuel sur les mineurs. Celui-ci prend différentes formes, parmi lesquelles figure la pédopornographie en ligne, que nous avons choisi d’aborder plus particulièrement en raison de l’inquiétante diffusion de cette forme de criminalité. En effet, grâce à la mise en œuvre des technologies de l’information, elle revêt de nouvelles caractéristiques – à certains égards non-conformes aux profils « traditionnels » de la pédophilie – qui soulèvent des questions et de nouveaux défis tant dans le domaine de la lutte contre ces conduites illicites que sur le plan de la prévention.
Cette intervention propose d’examiner les politiques pénales élaborées dans le cadre de deux réalités nationales différentes – celles de l'Italie et de la France – à partir de plusieurs points de vue et en prêtant attention aux instruments, normatifs et opérationnels introduits pour réprimer l’exploitation sexuelle des mineurs liée à la dimension virtuelle.

Il servizio sociale ha un importante funzione di osservatorio e di riflessione sui fenomeni sociali, sui loro mutamenti e sull’evoluzione dei bisogni nel contesto in cui opera, per individuare interventi adeguati in un sistema integrato di servizi. Il presente lavoro intende evidenziare i maggiori processi economici e sociali che operano a livello nazionale e sovranazionale, rilevare come interagiscono con il contesto pordenonese in relazione alla sua storia economica, sociale e culturale. Molti specialisti e operatori dei servizi riportano come, negli ultimi anni, siano emerse in Italia nuove fragilità tra la popolazione, il cronicizzarsi e l’aumento delle situazioni di marginalità sociale rispetto ai quali i territori si dimostrano espulsivi e i servizi in difficoltà. È necessario adottare uno sguardo ampio che riesca a riconoscere la complessità dei fenomeni emergenti, con le loro connessioni e contraddizioni, e insieme affinare un’attenzione ai microcontesti per identificare i problemi, le disuguaglianze, le emarginazioni e le sofferenze, ma anche le risorse mobilitabili e valorizzabili. Ho voluto quindi analizzare quali bisogni, progettualità, strategie di lavoro ha individuato l’Ambito Distrettuale Urbano 6.5, attraverso gli strumenti che gli sono propri: i profili di comunità, i piani di zona, i percorsi di studio e di ricerca, l’operatività degli assistenti sociali con gli utenti e il lavoro di rete con i servizi e le istituzioni.

The second study investigated the process of presence, by analyzing data produced in the first study, within a grounded theory approach. The use of Virtual Reality in mental health, and particularly for psychotherapy, introduces a radical modification in the therapeutic setting: the typical configuration requires the patient to be immersed in the VE, while the therapist observes and controls the interaction by “outside” the environment. This unique ecosystem requires a qualitative approach to investigate it. In the third study, a qualitative content approach has been used, in order to describe the interactional processes and the co-construction of the sense of presence. In the fourth study, conversational processes in a shared VE have been investigated by creating a shared task in VR and in vivo. Results from this research program suggest the interactional nature of the sense of presence.

La realizzazione di questa ricerca ha come obiettivo principe lo studio approfondito dell’istituto della riabilitazione penale all’interno del panorama legislativo italiano, con riferimento al contesto bolognese, e nella legislazione belga; inoltre si pone come scopo l’analisi dell’interazione autore-vittima del reato, con una particolare attenzione al risarcimento elargito alla persona offesa dal reato e alla figura della vittima prima nel sistema penale, poi nel procedimento specifico che porta alla riabilitazione del condannato. Il punto di partenza del lavoro di ricerca intrapreso è costituito da un’accurata ricerca bibliografica inerente agli argomenti trattati, al fine di poter approfondire una buona parte della letteratura italiana e belga esistente in materia. La fase successiva della ricerca è stata quella di reperire informazioni riguardanti l’ambito di studio da approfondire, cioè la riabilitazione, secondo una direttrice empirica. Pertanto, per quanto concerne la realtà italiana, sono stati analizzati, tramite una griglia di rilevazione costruita ad hoc, i fascicoli processuali relativi alla riabilitazione presenti negli archivi del Tribunale di Sorveglianza di Bologna (2004-2009); la situazione belga è invece stata studiata reperendo dati, riferiti alla réhabilitation pénal, rintracciati presso il “Service Public Fédéral Justice - Bureau Permanent Statistiques et Mesure de la charge de travail (BPSM)” (2008-2009), sia livello nazionale che delle cinque Corti di appello. Inoltre, al fine di ottenere un ulteriore punto di vista empirico riguardante l’istituto della riabilitazione penale, sono state effettuate delle interviste semi-strutturate al Presidente del Tribunale di Sorveglianza Dott. Francesco Maisto e al Sostituto Procuratore Generale di Liège Mr. Nicolas Banneux. Infatti l’esperienza lavorativa e il particolare ruolo ricoperto da questi “osservatori privilegiati”, competenti di riabilitazione e particolarmente sensibili alle tematiche criminologiche e vittimologiche, li pone direttamente in contatto con l’istituto e la procedura della riabilitazione, determinando in loro una profonda padronanza dell’oggetto di ricerca.<br>The purpose of this study is the analysis of the penal rehabilitation from a legal and empirical point of view within the Italian and Belgian criminal proceeding and inside the rehabilitation's process. Moreover, the analysis is also focused on how the subjects involved in the criminal event (the perpetrator and the victim) have interacted and how the perpetrator of the crime acts reparatory or compensating behaviours towards the victim. Referring this first part, the purpose of this study is to analyse how (and if) the Italian and the Belgian legal procedures could “rehabilitate” and “give satisfaction” to the victim by giving hem or her a possibility to feel recognised, involved and/or to participate in a certain way. In order to have an empirical point of view, dossiers of penal rehabilitation from the Surveillance Court of Bologna were studied; also federal and regional data concerning the réhabilitation pénal, find in the “Service Public Fédéral Justice - Bureau Permanent Statistiques et Mesure de la charge de travail (BPSM)” (2008-2009), were analysed. Another empirical perspective is done thanks to two interviews submitted to the President of the Sourvelliance Court of Bologna Mr. Francesco Maisto and the Substitute of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Liège Mr. Banneux. They are key persons that could help people to better understand the process and the meaning of penal rehabilitation because of their job and the particular attention that they have ever paid to criminology and victimology.

L’avanzamento delle tecnologie digitali ha permesso ai soggetti di interagire in ambienti diversi da quelli fisici causando cambiamenti nelle modalità di comunicazione. Il dispositivo Microsoft HoloLens (MHL) ha introdotto la possibilità di sperimentare un nuovo ambiente chiamato pure mixed reality. Questo lavoro consiste in una proposta metodologica interdisciplinare per studiare la comunicazione sincrona e il farsi dell’identità in essa quando viene utilizzato MHL. Per rispettare la complessità ontologica del fenomeno, ho combinato due prospettive: multimodality e social psychology of cyberplaces. L’adozione di queste prospettive ha permesso di ritagliare all’interno del fenomeno studiato un oggetto di ricerca definibile come (inter)azione comunicativa. Per studiarlo, ho elaborato una proposta metodologica che combina due metodi qualitativi: multimodal (inter)action analysis (MIA; dalla multimodality) e analysis of conversations (AC; dalla social psychology of cyberplaces). Per esaminare il farsi dell’identità nell’(inter)azione comunicativa, ho arricchito la proposta metodologica con l’intersubjectivity model, una proposta di modello teorico derivato da: MIA identity framework dalla multimodality e modello dell’intersoggettività enunciativa dalla social psychology of cyberplaces. L’intera linea argomentativa del lavoro è stata supportata da esempi di analisi utilizzando un corpus di 16 (inter)azioni comunicative diadiche videoregistrate. Ogni diade era composta da un soggetto che utilizzava MHL e uno che utilizzava un pc.<br>Advances in digital-based technologies have allowed subjects to interact in environments other than physical ones causing changes in communication modalities.
Microsoft HoloLens (MHL) introduced the possibility of experiencing a new digital environment: pure mixed reality. This work consists of an interdisciplinary methodological proposal to study synchronous communication and the making of identity in it when MHL is used. To respect the phenomenon’s ontological complexity, I combined two perspectives in this work: multimodality and social psychology of cyberplaces. The adoption of these perspectives reduced the phenomenon in a research object called communicative (inter)action. To study it, I elaborated a methodological proposal that combines two qualitative methods: multimodal (inter)action analysis (MIA; from multimodality) and analysis of conversations (AC; from social psychology of cyberplaces). To examine the making of identity in communicative (inter)action, I enriched the methodological proposal with a theoretical model proposal. The theoretical model proposal is a model that I called intersubjectivity model derived from: MIA framework on multimodal identity from multimodality and utterance intersubjectivity model from social psychology of cyberplaces. The line of argument was supported by analysis examples using a corpus of 16 videotaped dyadic communicative (inter)actions. Each dyad had one subject using MHL and another using a pc.

In questo lavoro verrà affrontato e discusso il concetto di esperienza immersiva e delle tematiche ad esso collegate con l’obiettivo finale di individuare e descrivere i principali fattori da tenere in considerazione durante la progettazione e lo sviluppo di artefatti digitali immersivi in contesti sociali.
Nella prima parte del lavoro verranno quindi introdotti i concetti di immersività, le tecnologie che consentono la creazione della sensazione di immersione e i sensi che vengono stimolati.
La seconda parte del lavoro introduce invece quella che è una classificazione dei contesti in cui è possibile fruire questo tipo di esperienze, permettendo quindi di evidenziare possibili differenze tra le necessità, i vincoli e gli agenti presenti all’interno di ciascuno.
La combinazione e l’applicazione dei primi due argomenti ha portato a dover affrontare e definire il concetto di esperienza immersiva, le teorie e i concetti importanti da seguire per una sua buona realizzazione.
Durante l’argomentazione delle tematiche relative al concetto di esperienza immersiva si è arrivati a delineare quelli che sono gli elementi caratterizzanti di questo tipo di esperienze (social contexts, environment, content, fruition, people relation, people disabilities, involved display, tracking e outcomes) e che si vanno a riflettere su quattro variabili principali da tenere in considerazione durante la progettazione, lo sviluppo e l’analisi.
Queste riflessioni hanno portato alla concezione di un modello che si basa sulla descrizione delle informazioni legate al contesto in cui l’esperienza viene fruita (Context), la tipologia di utenti coinvolti (Users), la tecnologia necessarie per lo sviluppo (Technology), e le competenze necessarie per la sua realizzazione (Expertise).
Tale modello, abbreviato in CUTE (Context, Users, Technology, Expertise), è stato poi quindi utilizzato per la progettazione e lo sviluppo delle esperienze immersive realizzate durante l’intero percorso di dottorato oltre che per l’analisi di progetti esistenti a cui si è contribuito, permettendo di evidenziare con facilità le alternative che i singoli elementi sono in grado assumere e consentendo l’identificazione di bisogni, requisiti e problematiche in maniera agile per ciascuna delle singole variabili.
Le singole esperienze hanno riguardato lo sviluppo di funzionalità aggiuntive per un simulatore di operazioni videolaparoscopiche; la progettazione e sviluppo di un prototipo di simulatore di parto; lo sviluppo di un’esperienza di realtà aumentata in contesto education per l’apprendimento; la creazione di un virtual coach per il recupero motorio; un survey sulle possibili alternative d’uso di Natural User Interfaces su dispositivi mobile; uno studio su un’applicazione per la fruizione di luoghi non accessibili a causa di limiti strutturali degli ambienti o fisici/cognitivi degli utenti; la realizzazione di un prototipo immersivo per la progettazione di spazi dedicati a eventi pubblici; lo sviluppo di un’applicazione dedicata al immersive journalism; ed infine lo studio di un sistema intelligente per lo smaltimento dei rifiuti.
Nelle conclusioni verranno i ripresi i concetti introdotti nelle varie sezioni e che insieme ai risultati emersi dalle singole esperienze permetteranno di fare delle riflessioni sulla readiness, cioè il livello di prontezza operativa, dei singoli contesti rispetto all’introduzione delle tecnologie immersive oltre che delle considerazioni sull’applicabilità e le possibili evoluzioni del modello CUTE sviluppato.<br>This work will analyze the concept of “immersive experience” and notions related to it, with the final aim to identify and describe the key elements to consider when designing and developing immersive digital artifacts in social contexts.
The first part of the dissertation introduces the concepts of immersiveness and immersion, with a specific focus on technologies able to stimulate various human senses, thus enabling a perception called “sense of immersion”.
Then, I will classify the possible social contexts in which an immersive experience can happen, highlighting the differences in terms of needs, constraints and agents involved.
The combination of the knowledge belonging to immersion and social contexts leads to a deeper concept of immersive experience with theories and best practices useful for its development.
This insight allowed the categorization of nine key elements that shape an immersive experience: social contexts, environment, content, fruition, people relation, people disabilities, involved display, tracking and outcomes. Such elements converge in four different variables to consider during the stages of analysis, design and development.
Such variables refer to the information related to the context in which the experience occurs, the kind of users involved, the technologies and expertise required to complete the development.
Starting from these considerations, I developed a model named CUTE (Context, Users, Technologies, Expertise) that can be used to analyze existing products and develop new projects.
The model has been used for all the immersive experiences I realized during these years of PhD. In particular, the development of additional features for a videolaparoscopic simulator; the design and development of a birth simulator; the development of an augmented reality experience in educational context; a survey on the possible alternatives to enable Natural User Interfaces on mobile devices; the creation of a virtual coach for motor recovery; the development of an application to visit inaccessible places; the creation of an immersive solution for the design of public spaces and events; the development of an application dedicated to immersive journalism; the study of an intelligent system for waste disposal.
Altogether the concepts introduced in the various sections and the results of single experiences gives hints about the readiness of the individual contexts regarding the introduction of immersive technologies as well as considerations on the applicability and possible evolutions of the CUTE model developed.

Tale riflessione è stata propedeutica all’analisi volta a cogliere l’impatto che hanno avuto sulla relazionalità intersoggettiva e sulle dinamiche di realizzazione del sé l’interazione semantica nello spazio delimitato della piazza tradizionale, la molteplicità e la potenza seduttiva delle offerte comunicative dei media elettronici nella estensione della piazza massmediale e soprattutto la nascita e l’affermazione del cyberspazio come luogo della comunicazione nella piazza digitale.
Se la peculiarità della piazza tradizionale è nel farsi dei rapporti face to face e quella della piazza massmediale nella funzione rilevante della fonte rispetto al destinatario, la caratteristica della piazza digitale consiste nella creazione autonoma di un orizzonte inclusivo che comprende ogni soggetto che si collega con la rete il quale, all’interno del network, riveste il doppio ruolo di consumatore e di produttore di messaggi.
Con l’avvento dell’online nella prassi della relazionalità sociale si producono e si attuano due piani di interazioni comunicative, uno relativo all’online e l’altro relativo all’offline.
L’ipotesi di lavoro che è stata guida della mia ricerca è che la pervasività dell’online conduca all’integrazione dei due segmenti comunicativi: l’esperienza della comunicazione digitale si inserisce nella prassi sociale quotidiana arricchendo i rapporti semantici propri della relazione face to face e influenzandoli profondamente.<br>My research project started with a reflection on a fundamental question that the digital communication scholars are dealing with nowadays: the current media technologies that have created new communication patterns and opened new forms of social interrelation lead to a digital dualism or to an augmented reality? This reflection has been preparatory to analyse and understand the impact that three key moments have on the intersubjective relationality and on the dynamics of self-realization: the semantic interaction within the delimited space of the traditional square, the multiplicity and the seductive power of communication proposals linked with the mass media square and the affirmation of cyberspace as a place of communication in the digital square.
If the peculiarity of the traditional square is indentified with the develop of a “face to face” relationship and in the mass media place the relevance is linked with the predominant role of the source compared to the recipient, the characteristic of the digital square is the creation of a self-inclusive horizon that includes every person who is connected with the network and also the double role of the user who is at the same time a consumer and producer of messages . With the coming of the "online" in the everyday life of social relationality, two levels of communicative interactions are produced and implemented: one related to the online and other related to the offline.
The working hypothesis that has driven my research is that the pervasiveness of online communication leads to the integration of the two segments and to their mutual influence.

D'abord objet de recherches des psychologues americains qui furent a l'origine de la parution de ce terme, la creativite a ete ensuite introduite en europe vingt ans plus tard et notamment en france ou sa notion, vulgarisee, a ete confondue avec invention, decouverte, creation, imagination, et dont il est primordial de la dissocier afin qu'elle recouvre sa signification concrete dans la conjoncture sociale. Les definitions europeennes influencees par les travaux americains soulignent l'idee de restructuration, de reorganisation des donnees sous une forme nouvelle, l'idee de divergence, d'originalite et la mise en jeu de processus combinatoires et associatifs. L'etude de savants et d'artistes fait apparaitre des traits fondamentaux (aptitudes, attitudes et comportements) et des motivations a l'origine des manifestations creatives et creatrices, communs a tous les individus creatifs mais en intensites variables selon la personnalite de l'individu et les circonstances socio-culturelles dans lesquelles il evolue, ces differentes intensites conduisant a des degres de creativite inegaux. This notion thus appeared as an answer to multiple political, economic and technical requirements as well as a social and cultural demand. Creativity was first studied by the american psychologists who invented this term. It was introduced twenty years later in europe, and more particularly in france, where its meaning has been confused with invention, discovery, creation, imagination ; it is, in fact, fundamental to define its precise sense to give it back its concrete meaning in the social context. The european definitions, influenced by american research, underline the concepts of divergence, originality and combinatory and associative process. The study of scientists and artists (aptitudes, attitudes and behavior) has shown the existence of fundamental features and motivations leading to creative expression, all of them to be found in creative individuals in various proportions according to their personalities and the socio-cultural context, and generating unequal creativity levels. Apart from the genetic inheritance, the family, cultural, social and physical environment factors interacting upon the personality development, condition the rise of creative potentialities and experiences. Taking into account the field covered by the notion of creativity, creativityprompting group techniques and experimental pedagogical methods have been set up. Their aim is to prompt specific aptitudes and mental processes. However, in the midst of the basic contradiction of a society in which, on the one hand, new values -including creativity- are emerging, and on the other hand, the values belonging to traditional systems are being maintained, creativity, without being an utopia, does not appear to be a social factor

Basti pensare alle modalità con cui oggi pianifichiamo e prenotiamo un viaggio. Ciò che cerchiamo è allontanarci dalla quotidianità per vivere un’esperienza memorabile, che ci emozioni. Spesso la scelta di una destinazione è influenzata dai racconti di viaggio che abbiamo ascoltato da amici o parenti, da immagini che abbiamo visto su Facebook o dai video su YouTube, oppure navigando in internet ci è capitato di imbatterci in forum di viaggio che hanno catturato la nostra attenzione. Oggigiorno non ci rechiamo più in un’agenzia di viaggi per farci consigliare e per farci pianificare l’intero viaggio. Siamo noi a voler creare, passo dopo passo, la nostra avventura e possiamo farlo comodamente a casa o al lavoro o in qualsiasi altro posto, grazie all’immenso patrimonio fornitoci dal Web.
L’obiettivo della mia tesi è quello di analizzare i cambiamenti che ci sono stati nel modo di viaggiare, focalizzandomi sulla diffusione dei social media e cosa ha comportato questo per le strutture di pernottamento. Partendo dall’analisi del profilo del turista 2.0, attento, competente ed esigente, affronto il passaggio da un mercato reale ad un mercato digitale soffermandomi sugli strumenti 2.0 fondamentali per intraprendere strategie di web marketing turistico. Dall’importanza di essere presenti online, per quanto riguarda la realizzazione di un sito web efficiente e la creazione di una propria pagina sui social media, fino alla realtà delle recensioni. Mediante la diffusione di due questionari, uno rivolto ai consumatori e uno alle strutture di pernottamento, ho attuato un confronto su ciò che pensano e cercano le persone quando decidono di intraprendere un viaggio e come si stanno muovendo gli albergatori di fronte a questo cambiamento. L’analisi presenta un approfondimento su TripAdvisor, essendo la community di recensioni più utilizzata al mondo, dimostrando che oramai le persone si fidano maggiormente dell’opinione di persone anche sconosciute, piuttosto che esperti con fini commerciali.

Given the social distortions born from the movement of reforms launched at the end ofthe 1970's in China, the present thesis investigates evolution regarding three major topics: labour market, the level of education and the health status. Using the CHNS database, I first consider returns to human capital in China, given the requirements of a more competitive economic environment in terms of productivity. I highlight increasing returns to education and nutrition in China since 1991, underlining the impact of the reforms on the way wages are now fixed. The conclusion appears positive for a rise in productivity and consequently for future growth. However, if individuals do not have equal access to education and to a good health, a higher payment of these factors can lead to deterioration in terms of inequalities. I subsequently focus on the evolution of the level of education and of the health status since the movement of reforms through two channels: potential transmission of the parents' social status to their children, i. E. Social mobility ; and inequalities in wellbeing in three social dimensions which are income, education and health. Using mobility matrices as well as econometric strategies, I demonstrate a comparably high level of mobility in education and wages as in other developed and developing countries. Nevertheless, the increasing impact of parents' wages on the child's schooling attainment can result in future lower mobility. Combined with results found from the analysis of multidimensional inequalities in wellbeing, I conclude that social inequalities in China are expected to increase in the coming years. Policy measures should address them focusing particularly on providing equal access to education and good health<br>Au regard des distorsions sociales qui ont suivi le mouvement de réformes initié en Chine à la fin des années 1970, cette thèse étudie les évolutions récentes relatives à trois principaux sujets : le marché du travail, le niveau d’éducation et le niveau de santé. En utilisant la base de données CHNS, je considère dans un premier temps les rendements du capital humain en Chine, étant donnés les besoins en gains de productivité liés à une économie plus compétitive. Je souligne l’augmentation des rendements de l’éducation et de la nutrition en Chine depuis 1991, soulignant également l’impact des réformes sur la manière dont les salaires sont fixés aujourd’hui. Cette conclusion apparaît dans un premier temps positive pour l’augmentation de la productivité et de la croissance dans l’avenir. Cependant, si les individus ne bénéficient pas d’un égal accès à l’éducation et à la santé, une plus forte rémunération de ces facteurs peut mener à une détérioration en termes d’inégalités. C’est pourquoi je me focalise dans un deuxième temps sur l’évolution relative au niveau d’éducation et de santé depuis le mouvement de réformes à travers deux canaux : la possible transmission du statut social des parents à leurs enfants, i. E. La mobilité sociale ; puis les inégalités de bien-être dans trois dimensions sociales que sont le revenu, l’éducation et la santé. Grâce à l’utilisation de matrices de mobilité ainsi que de stratégies économétriques, je démontre un niveau de mobilité salariale et en terme d’éducation en Chine dans la moyenne en comparaison à celui d’autres pays développés ou en développement. Cependant, l’impact croissant du salaire des parents sur la scolarisation des enfants peut se traduire par une mobilité plus faible dans le futur, dans la mesure où cela renforce les dynamiques inégalitaires. Mis en parallèle avec les résultats de l’analyse multidimensionnelle des inégalités de bien-être, je conclus que les inégalités sociales en Chine sont amenées à augmenter dans les années à venir, nécessitant des mesures politiques en faveur de l’amélioration de l’accès à l’éducation et à la santé

L'interaction sociale en univers virtuel est un domaine émergent en l'informatique et en sciences sociales. L'objectif de cette recherche était de qualifier ce qu'est une interaction sociale et d'identifier les conditions que doit fournir un environnement virtuel pour qu'effectivement, cette interaction sociale puisse se dérouler (se co-construire). Nous nous sommes particulièrement intéressés à la dimension non verbale de la communication ainsi qu'à l'articulation entre animation intentionnelle et non intentionnelle. Alors qu'une grande partie des travaux dans ce domaine est basée sur un paradigme d'interaction entre humain et avatar, notre approche concerne l'interaction entre des avatars animés par des humains. Notre objectif était d'identifier un ensemble de règles d'interaction susceptibles de respecter deux principes fondamentaux de l'interaction sociale : la réflexivité et l'indexicalité. C'est la mise en œuvre de ces deux principes qui permettent aux acteurs humains de co-construire le sens de leur interaction en temps réel. Plutôt que de représenter toutes les fonctions cognitives humaines, nous avons développé un moteur d'animation capable de reproduire la dimension dynamique de l'interaction sociale. Ce moteur permet de gérer la fusion entre l'animation intentionnelle produite par l'acteur humain et les animations autonomes de l'avatar. La validation de notre modèle est basée sur une analyse ethnométhodologique visant à comparer les interactions sociales entre interlocuteurs en situation réel et en univers virtuel<br>Virtual reality is an emerging technology that has proved its great potentiality in various fields. In these last years, researchers start to investigate the problem of realistic and effective social interaction in virtual worlds. The aim of our research is to improve the level of efficiency of virtual communication focusing mostly on the role of non-verbal communication. Our approach is mostly based on non-deterministic social theories that stress the role of emergence and contextual intelligence in contraposition of the classical cognitive modelling and plan-based artificial intelligence. Considering the limits of artificial intelligence to reproduce in an effective way the complexity of human social interaction, we decide to develop an architecture able to leave the user free to exploit all his contextual intelligence to drive the social interaction. In such way we are able to grant that the characteristics of reflexivity and indexicality are taken in care during the interaction. The result of our work is a virtual environment in which a set of basic social interaction rules partially drive the behaviours of the avatars. The virtual reality platform includes an animation system that handle the priority between the animations driven by the automatic modules and the one controlled by the user. The user in then always in control of his avatar and can stop the automatic animations at any moment via his voluntary control. The validation of the model is based on a series of ethnomethodological analysis performed to directly compare similar social interactions between users in real world and in virtual environments

This thesis has four chapters which, together, offer a non-exhaustive but still quite extensive account of social reality.
In Chapter 1, I defend an analysis of the notion of sociality which has it that to be social is to somehow involves cooperation.
In Chapter 2, I present and defend an account of cooperation which roughly claims that cooperation occurs when people pursue a goal they have in common, according to a plan they share, and in a state of mutual awareness.
In Chapter 3, I put forward an account of a particular kind of social phenomena: institutions. I draw on the work of Searle, Hindriks and Thomasson and argue, very roughly, that institutions are created by people who cooperate in a way that commits them to certain rules, which they have the power to enforce.
Finally, in Chapter 4, I argue that circular accounts of social phenomena can be illuminating and, in particular, that they can help vindicating reductive identifications of the phenomena they target, even though they fail to provide reductive identifications of the notions they aim to analyze.

<p>In international development cooperation of today there is a great multitude of NGOs in Developing countries that are financed by Western donors. Facing criticism of imperialism and lack of local anchorage the concept of partnership has been introduced which is based on mutual cooperation where the local partner is the one responsible to define problems and implement the work. The Swedish International Development Agency - Sida has practised partnership for over ten years. This study looks at the perception and function of this policy from Swedish organizations point of view by interviewing representatives from four organisations working under Sida cooperating with foreign partners. Findings reveals a great difference between aim and reality where the equality partnership refers to is absent. The main obstacles were to create an open dialogue and that Sida turn down applications based on local needs as they don’t fit their current trends. Power-inequalities created by economic resources cannot be ignored and the traditional roles of donor and receiver with a paternalistic undertone persists. The partnership approach needs to be reconsidered in terms of definition and extent if it is to be realistic and beneficial for both parts.</p>

Världen har genomgått stora förändringar de senare åren, liksom sättet på vilket vi interagerar och relaterar till den. Ankomsten av sociala medier har gett upphov till ett fenomen varigenom åberopandet av den spridande fitnesskulturen har möjliggjort för ett beteende bestående av publicerandet av allt mer sexuellt utmanande och explicit material att få fotfäste och normaliseras bland unga svenskar idag. Syftet med denna studie är att utforska meningsskapandet bakom och den bärande logiken för personligt uttryck och publikationen av personligt material i den moderna digitala världen av sociala medier. Jag ämnar göra detta genom att kombinera de teoretiska perspektiven framförda av Thorstein Veblen och Jean Baudrillard med Norman Faircloughs tredimensionella modell för kritisk diskursanalys. Denna metodologiska ansats, en sammanvävning av teori och metodologiska riktlinjer, kommer att tillämpas på det moderna svenska fitnessfenomenets uttrycksformer och emanation på sociala media-plattformen Instagram. Genom att studera bilder och deras associerade bildtexter är målet att bena upp och försöka förklara de diskursiva relationer och villkor som bär och ger liv åt detta beteende, och tillåter det att normaliseras. Tolkningarna av resultatet indikerar förekomsten av ett slags diskursivt maskerande av en underliggande strävan efter social validering genom förvärvandet av socialt kapital. Genom att åberopa fitness som legitimerande faktor transformerar diskursen verkligheten som omger dessa publikationer från någonting som hade betraktats som opassande, till att utgöra en del av ett beteende mer i linje med existerande sociala normer.<br>The world has seen some rather significant changes in recent years, and with it the way we interact and relate to it. The advent of social media has given rise to a phenomenon in which the invoking of the spreading culture of fitness has allowed a behavior consisting of the publication of increasingly sexually explicit and provocative material to take hold and become normalized among Swedish youth. The purpose of this study is to explore the drive and reasoning governing the concept of personal expression and the publication of personal material in the modern digital age of social media. I aim to do this by combining the perspectives outlined in the works of Thorstein Veblen and Jean Baudrillard respectively, with the three-dimensional model of critical discourse analysis as created by Norman Fairclough. This methodological approach, combining theory and methodological guidelines, will then be applied to the modern Swedish phenomena surrounding fitness and its emanation and expression on the popular social media platform Instagram. By studying the images and their related captions the aim was to decipher the discursive relations and conditions that maintain and sustain this behavior and allow it to be normalized. The resulting interpretations indicate the occurrence of a discursive masking of the underlying strive for social validation through the acquisition of social capital. By invoking fitness as a legitimizing factor the discourse transforms the reality of these publications from something which would otherwise be frowned upon, into a behavior more in line with existing social norms.

Sammanfattning Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka några nyblivna socionomers erfarenheter av sina första två år som yrkesverksamma. Fokus har legat på respondenternas reflektioner kring sin arbetsmiljö, förutsättningar och handlingsutrymme i yrkesrollen samt vilken roll utbildningen har haft som förberedelse till yrkeslivet. Jag har använt en kvalitativ forskningsmetod för att genomföra en intervjustudie med sju socionomer. Resultatet visar att av sju respondenter arbetar endast en kvar på samma arbetsplats som efter examen. Fyra av sju har under sina första två år erfarit någon form av arbetsrelaterad ohälsa och har varit sjukskrivna till följd av det. Dessa resultat ligger i linje med såväl nationell som internationell forskning. De flesta respondenter anser att de har ett relativt stort handlingsutrymme i sin yrkesroll men att detta i hög utsträckning beror på organisatoriska omständigheter som exempelvis hur ledarskapet fungerar på arbetsplatsen. Alla respondenter påtalar även resursbristen som en central faktor i deras upplevelse av arbetsmiljön och hur de lyckas med att utföra sitt värv som socialarbetare. En annan faktor som spelar stor roll för hur respondenterna trivs med sitt yrke är om de har funnit en bra balans mellan arbete och fritid samt om arbetet i sig rymmer en balans mellan krav, kontroll och stöd. Ytterligare ett område som påverkar trivsel och tillfredsställelse med arbetet är om respondenterna upplever att det finns utrymme för personlig och professionell utveckling exempelvis genom fortbildning. Flera respondenter anser att den verksamhetsförlagda delen av socionomutbildningen har lagt en bra grund inför att senare komma ut i yrkeslivet men vissa tyckte att det borde vara två perioder med praktik. Det många av respondenterna saknar från utbildningen är mer praktisk undervisning i samtalsmetodik, exempelvis i motiverande samtal (MI), och överlag mer praktiknära moment.<br>Abstract The aim of this study has been to investigate how a few newly graduated social workers have experienced their first two years as professionals. The main focus has been on how they view their work environment, how they reflect on discretion and agency in practicing social work and how the participants perceive the role of the social work programme in preparing them for their professional life. I have used a qualitative method doing semi- structured interviews with seven social workers. The result of this study shows that out of seven participants, only one remains at the same work place as after graduating. Four out of seven have experienced work-related health issues like stress and fatigue syndrome which have led to sick leave some time during their first two years as qualified social workers. That result corresponds to other findings, both national and international. Most respondents feel that they have a rather large area of discretion in their profession but that the level of agency is largely related to organisational issues, for example how well the leadership at the work place functions. All respondents claim resource shortage as a central factor in how they view their work environment and how well they manage to perform their work duties. Another area that affects satisfaction in the work situation is whether the respondents feel that they have found ways to create a healthy balance between work and private life and also if the workplace itself offers a balance between demand, control and support. Furthermore, another important factor that affects job satisfaction is whether there is room for personal and professional development at the workplace. Several of the respondents view social work practice during the studies as very valuable in giving them a good ground for future work experience. Some believed the placement period should be extended or occur twice during the social work programme. Many respondents say that they would have liked to have more practical training in communication methods like motivational interviewing (MI).

It consists of three essays, which use partial least squares modeling to analyze different consumer behavior models. The first essay examines the influence of quality, human, and environmental factors on AR reuse intention in a mobile social networking context. The second essay introduces position relevance, a new construct essential to AR research in e-commerce, and it looks at the influence of this construct and app involvement on user purchase intention, while using view-in-room features on mobile retail apps. The third essay examines the influence of service quality and visual quality on recommendation intention of mobile retail apps while using view-in-room features compared to shopping without using these AR features.

Esta tesis tiene como objetivo el estudio de las ceremonias de entrada real en la Barcelona del siglo XV. Los artículos que la componen cubren un arco cronológico que va desde la entrada del rey Martín el Humano, en 1397, hasta la visita de la reina Isabel de Castilla, en 1481. Se intenta en ella no solamente describir y dar visibilidad a dichos eventos, sino mostrar también la existencia de un código ceremonial, privativo y diferencial de la ciudad, por el cual se rige toda recepción solemne celebrada en Barcelona a lo largo de este siglo. La existencia de una tradición para este tipo de ceremonias, que se remonta hasta la Antigüedad y que es compartida por el conjunto del Occidente medieval, convive así con su expresión en términos locales, determinados, entre otras cosas, por las necesidades inmediatas del presente y las expectativas especulativas del futuro. Debido a esta circunstancia, resulta imprescindible, para poder entender en su exacta dimensión el sentido de estas ceremonias solemnes de recepción, vincularlas estrechamente con el contexto histórico en el que se desarrollan. Por ello, en esta tesis se privilegia una lectura de dichos eventos desde una perspectiva sociopolítica, analizándolos a la luz de las circunstancias históricas que rodean su puntual celebración. Desde ese punto de vista, las ceremonias de entrada real que tienen lugar en la Barcelona del siglo XV no aparecen nunca ajenas a la inestabilidad política de este período, cuya culminación será el estallido de la Guerra Civil Catalana (1462-1472), y su escenificación siempre tiende a reflejar dicha realidad.
Se analizan, así, en esta tesis las entradas solemnes en Barcelona de Martín el Humano (1397), María de Luna (1400), Martín el Joven (1405), Fernando I (1412), Juan II (1458, 1472 y 1473), príncipe de Viana (1460 y 1461), Pedro de Portugal (1464), Juan de Calabria (1466), Fernando II (1461, 1473 y 1479) e Isabel de Castilla (1481), y el estudio comparado de todas ellas permite determinar en qué medida su celebración, a pesar de ser fruto de la negociación previa con la monarquía, es un asunto cuya planificación, organización y puesta en escena competen exclusivamente al gobierno municipal barcelonés. Por ese motivo, estas ceremonias, que sirven para plasmar, básicamente, la relación de la ciudad con el poder real, son al mismo tiempo un instrumento que la propia Barcelona utiliza para expresarse institucional y socialmente. El seguimiento de la participación tanto de las autoridades consistoriales como de los diferentes estamentos urbanos en dichas recepciones solemnes ofrece una imagen dinámica y activa del municipio que muestra tanto los elementos que lo cohesionan y estructuran como aquellos que lo estratifican y tensionan.
Utilizando documentación procedente fundamentalmente del Archivo Histórico Municipal de Barcelona, esta tesis pretende demostrar que es posible acceder al conocimiento, análisis e interpretación de las ceremonias de recepción solemne celebradas en la Barcelona del siglo XV, superando la inexistencia de trabajos previos sobre dicho tema y desechando, por errónea, la percepción que pueda tenerse de estos eventos como acontecimientos puntuales y aislados en manos de la improvisación y el azar.<br>The aim of this thesis is to study the ceremonies of royal entry in Barcelona in the fifteenth century. The articles included here cover a chronological arc that goes from the entrance of King Martin the Human, in 1397, until the visit of the queen Isabel of Castile, in 1481. This thesis attempts not only to describe and give visibility to these events, but also to show the existence of a ceremonial code, peculiar to the city, which governed all solemn reception being held in Barcelona throughout this century. It privileges a reading of these events from a sociopolitical perspective, analyzing them in the light of the historical circumstances that surround their punctual celebration.
Are discussed in this thesis the solemn entries in Barcelona of Martin el Humano (1397), Maria de Luna (1400), Martin el Joven (1405), Fernando I (1412), Juan II (1458, 1472 and 1473), príncipe de Viana (1460 and 1461), Pedro de Portugal (1464), Juan de Calabria (1466), Fernando II (1461, 1473 and 1479) and Isabel de Castilla (1481). A comparative study of these receptions allows determining that, despite being the fruit of previous negotiations with the monarchy, the planning, organization and staging of every solemn entry is a matter whose responsibility is to the Barcelona municipal government.
Using documentation from the Municipal Historical Archive of Barcelona, this thesis aims to demonstrate that it is possible to access the knowledge, analysis and interpretation of the ceremonies of solemn reception held in Barcelona in the fifteenth century.

<p> Human beings organize and navigate their experience of everyday life and their interactions with others through the creation, presentation, and representation of myths. This dissertation expands the definition of myth beyond stories of gods and humans to include social narratives used by groups and individuals to contextualize and define everyday situations. As such, they perform vital social functions. These include providing common narratives that have the power to bind otherwise independent beings into more or less coherent collectives capable of joint actions, as well as reducing feelings of individual isolation and existential anxiety by narratively making sense out of the violence, unpredictability, and discontinuity that accompany life. Myths are constructed narratives that masquerade as common sense; they appear to have a supernatural or supra-human basis or origin. Their created nature is collectively, and often unconsciously, denied by those who adhere to them. </p><p> This dissertation outlines an approach to mythology grounded in sociological principles as an alternative to the more familiar approaches of the humanities, religious studies, or psychology. Synthesizing principles drawn from the sociological schools of social constructionism and symbolic interactionism, this dissertation proposes that humans, as users of complex, symbolic language, necessarily experience the world through a matrix of narratives both written and unwritten. But this approach is not simply social constructionism or symbolic interactionism with a mythological gloss. Instead, it serves as a bridge between the macro view of social constructionism and the micro view of symbolic interactionism. </p><p> This dissertation treats myths not as currencies of belief, but rather as currencies of behavior and consequence. For illustration, three examples from the modern world are presented: 1) How same-sex inclusion challenges traditionalist myths of marriage; 2) How myths of divine providence and expansionism have influenced American domestic and foreign policy from the nation's inception to the present; and 3) The role that the propagandizing of engrained cultural myths and stereotypes played during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Ethical and moral implications of human-constructed myths are also considered.</p>

This thesis deals with the comparison of users' behaviour in virtuality and in reality. The thesis is divided into two interrelated parts. I'm analyzing participants' behavior according to results from our own research in chosen social network. I'm comparing the results with other scientific works and putting them into context with theoretical knowledge. I'm looking for conjunctions with reality, focus on the differences and trying to explain different behaviour of users of social networks. The theoretical part gives a comprehensive overview of the concepts of virtuality, social network and virtual world. It provides an overview of the potential danger lurking in the virtual reality, focusing on children, because for them is virtuality already a natural part of life, and they are also because of their credibility very vulnerable. It also deals with the meaning of the concept of friendship, which has in the virtual world a bit different meaning. It also examines the behaviour of individuals in various situations in a virtual environment and looks for reasons why people change their image, why they behave aggressively, and whether their virtual behaviour influence their behaviour in reality. I'm analyzing the differences between virtual and real communications and the influence of the increasing tendency of using virtual means of communication for real communication.

Lo studio nasce dall’individuazione di due differenti fenomeni che stanno caratterizzando il mondo attuale e che inevitabilmente si riversano sulle imprese e la loro gestione: da un lato, l’enorme diffusione dei social media nella vita quotidiana e lavorativa delle persone; dall’altro, la crescente necessità di internazionalizzazione delle imprese, in particolare delle PMI, per le quali la vendita all’estero rappresenta ormai una strategia fondamentale per la sopravvivenza e la crescita.
In particolare si è cercato di rispondere a due differenti domande di ricerca:
1. Quali sono i fattori, le modalità di adozione e le strategie di utilizzo dei social media da parte delle PMI italiane nel mercato domestico? In particolare si sono indagati i fattori correlati all’utilizzo dei social media da parte delle PMI, tramite l’applicazione del modello del TOE (Technology Organization Environment).
2. Nell’ambito delle strategie di marketing internazionale, se e con quali modalità le PMI italiane utilizzano i social media per comunicare con i clienti stranieri?
L’analisi empirica realizzata è andata ad indagare i due fenomeni all’interno di un campione di PMI italiane appartenenti al settore del Food&Beverage. Si tratta di uno studio esplicativo sequenziale, nella sua forma “follow-up”, all’interno del quale, una survey quantitativa (n.122 questionari analizzati), ha preceduto una fase qualitativa di approfondimento (multiple case study). Dall’analisi dei risultati, emerge una scarsa propensione all’utilizzo dei social media in un’ottica strategica, sia nelle attività di comunicazione rivolte al mercato domestico, sia in quelle rivolte al mercato estero. Tale situazione è determinata dalla mancanza di competenze, di una struttura aziendale adeguata e di risorse finanziarie sufficienti, ma anche, e soprattutto, da uno scarso orientamento al marketing e una limitata conoscenza delle opportunità offerte dai social media nel marketing e nella comunicazione internazionale.<br>The rapid penetration of social media into modern society and into the customer’s habits, has forced firms to adopt and integrate them in their marketing and communication strategies (Tsimonis and Dimitriadis, 2014). Concurrently, the need for internationalization of SME has increased over the past years, as it represents a key strategy for their survival and growth. In this scenario, this study tries to integrate this two different phenomena, by answering the following research questions:
1. How are social media adopted and used as marketing tools by Italian SME? In particular, what are the factors within the technology-organization-environment (TOE) framework that are correlated with the use of social media?
2. As part of its international marketing strategies, whether and in what way the Italian SMEs are using social media to communicate with foreign customers?
The empirical analysis has been carried out to investigate the two phenomena within a sample of Italian SMEs belonging to the Food & Beverage sector. We used a mixed methodology that generates multiple sources of data. In particular, it is a sequential explanatory study, in its "follow-up" design, in which a quantitative survey, preceded a qualitative phase (multiple case study). The results show an unplanned and improvised use of social media by SME, without a clear strategy in mind, both in in the domestic and foreign markets. This situation seems to be determined by the lack of competence, an adequate organizational structure and sufficient financial resources. In addition, the lack of a marketing orientation and a limited knowledge of the opportunities offered by social media, are factors that affect the absence of an international social media marketing strategy.

Working within the systemic functional theory of language, and utilising the concept of a social network to model the social order, the primary aim is to put on display the relationship between the linguistic system and social order, between language and culture. Systemic functional grammar (Halliday, 1995; Halliday and Hasasn, 1985/9; Halliday and Matthiesen, 1997; Eggins and Slade 1997), with its emphasis on language as a social semiotic, is used to analyse the language used by a group of four women engaged in casual conversation in a small Australian island community. Here the analysis reveals how the women negotiate their social reality when speaking to each other. It shows how their social relations are shaped within a text (Hasan, 1996), and explores the notion that, despite the seemingly trivial, unconscious nature of casual interactions, power and solidarity are continually being negotiated by the participants (Halliday, 1994; Eggins and Slade, 1997). More specifically, this research examines the notion that through lexico-grammatical and semantic selections participants are able to negotiate dominant positions in interaction. Social Network analysis has been used to examine the relationship between the individual and the group. It offers a quantifiable analytical tool for describing the character of an individual's everyday social relationships (Milroy, 1987). A social network analysis is used in the present study to map the social relationships in the tight-knit network, or speech fellowship, of these women (creating a map of the context of situation in SFL terminology). Change in the social relationships and language choices is modeled by revisiting the participants 15 months later in a contextually similar environment and re-analysing the network and linguistic options. Systemic functional linguistics is then used to highlight the interdependency of language and social order. Through systematic accounts of language and the context in which it is embedded this reciprocal nature is displayed and language and social order can be seen, not as two distinct entities, but rather as one phenomena seen from two different perspectives (Halliday, 1978; Mathiessen, 1993).<br>Mode of access: World Wide Web.<br>v, 291 p. ill
