Arabibarbus grypus (Heckel, 1843), which naturally lives in the Euphrates and Tigris River systems and is endemic, is an economically important fish species consumed by humans. Since the population of this species, which is hunted by both fishermen and local peo-ple, is decreasing day by day, its genetic characteristics need to be determined. This study aims to determine the genetic characteristics of A. grypus samples living in Great Zab based on sequence analysis of mtDNA cyt b and mtDNA d loop gene regions. Total DNA isolation was performed from muscle tissue using the kit. Then, Polymerase Chain Reac-tion was applied through spe-cific primers to mtDNA cyt b and mtDNA d loop gene re-gions, and the target regions were amplified. The products with the target length were sent to the commercial firm and sequence analysis was per-formed. Regarding these spec-imens living in Great Zab, two haplotypes were determined for the mtDNA cyt b gene re-gion and five haplotypes for the mtDNA d loop gene re-gion. These haplotypes were compared with the haplotypes in the gene bank and the re-sults were evaluated. Some important data has been ob-tained regarding the conserva-tion and management of this fish species. Since three new haplotypes were detected for the d loop region in this stud-ied locality, it is important to include the samples in this lo-cality in conservation studies.

(francuski) Entrant dans l'arri?re-pays du Mont Athos, le territoire de Kom?tissa (aujourd'hui le toponyme de Kumica) joua un r?le important dans la vie monacale sur la p?ninsule d?s les premi?res installations de moines, r?le qui se maintint par la suite, au cours des si?cles ult?rieurs, notamment aux ?poques o? divers envahisseurs ? Latins, Catalans et finalement Turcs s'avanc?rent sur l'Athos par la terre. C'est par Kom?tissa que passait la principale route dite imp?riale ou publique par laquelle l'Athos, via Hi?rissos, ?tait li? au reste de la Chalcidique. G. Ostrogorsky a consacr? un travail sp?cial ? cette r?gion et ? ses liens avec les monast?res athonites. Toutefois, depuis la parution de cet article se sont ?coul?es plus de trois d?cennies ayant vue la publication de 16 volumes des actes des archives des monast?res renfermant nombre de documents publi?s pour la premi?re fois. Compte tenu que certains d'entre eux jettent plus de lumi?re sur la r?gion de Kom?tissa ? s'agissant notamment de la pr?sence des monast?res athonites sur son territoire, ainsi que de l'attitude de sa population envers le Pr?taton nous avons estim? utile, en partant des conclusions d'Ostrogorsky et en ayant en vue les commentaires des ?diteurs des actes mentionn?s, de revenir sur cette important r?gion. La r?gion de Kom?tissa englobait la plus grande partie du proche arri?re-pays de l'Athos ? depuis Grande Bigla en direction de l'int?rieur jusqu'? la fronti?re de la terre des Athonites en direction du district d'Hi?rissos. Les fronti?res de ce territoire ont ?t? ?tablies par deux actes ? de l'?popte Thomas et du strat?ge Katakal?n, en 942, respectivement 943. Par cons?quent, Kom?tissa, et tout le reste du territoire constituant l'arri?re-pays de l'Athos se trouvait sous l'autorit? de l'administration centrale de l'Athos. Except? la terre et les parques, l'autorit? du Pr?taton s'?tendait ?galement sur les installations de p?cheurs (alieytika stasidia); celles situ?es sur la c?te est du golfe d'Hi?rissos avaient notamment ?taient riches en thon d'o? leur nom tou Orkiniou. Les habitants de Kom?tissa consid?raient le pr?te comme leur seigneur. Les affaires fonci?res concernant Kom?tissa ?tait du ressort du grand ?conome du Pr?taton, lequel, ? partir du milieu de la troisi?me d?cennie du XIVe si?cle, a ?t? remplac? par l'?conome de Kom?tissa. La cr?ation de sa fonction est en relation avec l'?rection ? Kom?tissa d'une forteresse qui devait prot?ger l'Athos des incursions turques, mais aussi offrir un refuge aux habitants de Kom?tissa face au risque d'?tre emmen?s en captivit?. Cette menace inqui?tait tout particuli?rement les moines athonites car les habitants de Kom?tissa cultivaient les terres de leurs monast?res et acquittaient un imp?t au Pr?taton. Les grands monast?res ? Lavra et Iviron ? poss?daient d?j? au Xle si?cle des biens ? Kom?tissa. Hilandar y a re?u avant novembre 1300 15 familles de par?ques, alors que de nombreux autres monast?res y poss?daient des p?cheurs sur la c?te du golfe d'H?rissos. Les p?turages et ces p?cheries de Kom?tissa ont souvent ?t? l'objet d'interminables litiges entre certains monast?res du Mont Athos. .

The identity of Chiromantes obtusifrons (Dana, 1851), previously considered widespread in the tropical West Pacific re-gion to the eastern Indian Ocean, is revised and found to be a species-complex. Chiromantes obtusifrons is now considered endemic to the Hawaiian Is., and four new species are described from Guam, Taiwan and Christmas Island. Two species live sympatrically in Taiwan. Species separation is based on carapace and frontal shape and granulation, leg proportions, abdominal somite proportions, and distinctive live colouration.

Oakwood in the re-gion has long been intensively exploited, their area reduced by 2-3 times, and the gene pool is severely malnourished. Restor-ing oak occurs very difficult with large omissions and economic costs. The main reason is the lack or total absence of acorns high quality selection. Research is devoted to the knowledge of the regularity and fruiting oak plus trees.

The paper considers the antioxidant properties of water and alcohol extractions of fermented and unfermented fireweed of the narrow-leaved fireweed family (Chamerion Angustifolium Onagraceae), St.), bitter wormwood (Artemisia absintium L.), red clover (Trifolium pratense). The effect of the fermentation process, solvent, and extraction time on antioxidant activity (AOA) was studied. A comparative assessment of the antioxidant properties of medicinal plants of the Perm region was carried out. Using the potentiometric method, it was found that the AOA values of water extracts of fireweed angustifolia increase with the time of extraction. Fireweed weakly fermented (finely ground) and fermented (finely ground) have the highest AOA values during extraction within 24 hours. Shoots of young fireweed angustifolia have very low AOA values compared to unfermented and fermented samples. The AOA of aqueous extracts of medicinal plants increases with the time of their extraction. Oregano has the highest AOA value – 2.78×10-2 mol-equiv, and red clover has the lowest value – 0.37×10-2 mol-equiv. The highest value of AOA among mixtures of medicinal plants has a mixture of oregano with fermented fireweed (finely ground) – 2.52×10-2 mol-equiv. It has been established that extracts prepared from 40% ethanol solution for fireweed angustifolia and 20 and 40% for oregano have the highest AOA values. The AOA values for the alcohol extract of oregano increase depending on the time of its extraction.

Les biens de cette ?glise comprenaient les villages situes sur la rivi?re Lukavica (aujourd'hui Kriva Lakavica), puis toute une r?gion limit?e au nord-est par le mont Draksan, au nord la rivi?re Petrova, au nord-ouest et a l'ouest les monts Slivnica et Ograzeden, au sud le village de Sekirnik et son territoire et, a l'est le ruisseau appel? Vasilica. Puis, l'empereur Dusan lui a rattache, peu ?pres 1348 et avant la d?livrance de son ordonnance de 1349-1353, des p?turages qui se trouvaient a une dizaine de kilom?tres au nord de l'Ograzeden et d'une ligne Draksan-Slivnica, en s'avan?ant vers les hauteurs appel?es Maleske. Toujours sous le r?gne de l'empereur Dusan Chilandar a re?u de Laskaris Koteanitza le village de Bresnica, situe sur la rive gauche de la Strumica, a une vingtaine de kilom?tres au nord-est de la ville de Strumica, mais il lui a ?t? repris vers 1364 pour ?tre remis a Saint-Panteleemon. Il semble qu'en 1375/76 la limite sud-ouest du metoque de Chilandar sur la Strumica partait du mont Draguljevo pour s'avancer, en suivant une cr?te jusqu'au ruisseau Drivos, 'puis passant' au-dessus de Packovo 'et' en suivant la route au-dessus de la source de Barovo, jusqu'a Bresnica, puis, plus au sud, la limite suivait la route partant de Sekirnik et traversant Borujevo, pour d?boucher sur la Turija, dont elle suivait le cours jusqu'au gue tou Staurou d'ou elle suivait la Strumica jusqu'au gue de Fragkopoulou et au ruisseau Vasilica. On ignore a quelle ?poque Chilandar a re?u la terre de pronoiaires grecs, sise sur la rive droite de la Strumica autour de laquelle a surgi un litige lorsque Saint-Panteleemon a re?u les villages voisins de Makrijevo et de Mokrani (1372-1375). Cette terre, reconnue comme un bien de Chilandar par un jugement des ?v?ques de Strumica et de Banje en 1375/1376, est mentionn?e d?j? l'ann?e suivante, comme une donation des fr?res Dragas, le despotes Jean et Constantin, a Saint-Panteleemon. L'observation de la cr?ation et de l'?volution du metoque de Chilandar dans la r?gion de la Strumica nous a permis d'?tablir certaines conclusions s'agissant des actes qui nous renseignent sur ce metoque. Nous consid?rons que l'acte compose (Korablev Chil. slaves, n 8) contient des donn?es fid?lement reprises de l'acte d'acquisition des biens de l'?glise du Saint-Archange-Michel a Stip et de celui de donation, en faveur de Chilandar, du roi Dusan. Les exemplaires du chrysobulle (1334, 1336) du roi Dusan portant confirmation de la donation de Chrelja a Chilandar ont ?t? modifies lors du litige autour des villages de Karbinci sur la Bregalnica et de Bresnica, sis sur la rive gauche de la Strumica, ainsi que de la terre des pronoiaires grecs.

In 2017-2019, in the agro-climatic conditions of the Lower Volga region, the experience of studying spring oat varieties of different ecological and geographical origin from the world collection of VIR was laid, in order to determine their photosynthetic potential, and to identify varieties with high photosynthetic productivity. Over the years of research, the most adapted varieties of this crop were selected, their photosynthetic potential was determined, and the intensity of photosynthesis during the reproductive period of development (during the main growth phases) of spring oats in the conditions of the Lower Volga region was analyzed. On average, for 3 years of studying the collection varieties of spring oats in terms of the net productivity of photosynthesis, samples were noted: Myrtle, Athlete, Urs guara, Urs penca, p. 1. 3326 It was determined that with the growth of (FP) and (BPF), the yield of oats also increased. Since this indicator directly depends on the physiological and bioclimatic processes occurring in plants during ontogenesis. In the highest yield in 2017, it varied from 0.66 to 2.01 / ha. In 2018, the minimum yield values for all varieties were obtained from 0.51 t / ha of the Dookie 10 variety to 1.78 t / ha of the Mir variety. In the conditions of 2019, the yield variability by variety was from 0.60 t / ha to 1.94 t / ha. Thus, out of the 8 studied varieties, 5 were identified - p.1. 3326, Guara Urs, Urs foam, Athlete, Myrtle, as highly productive, and therefore the most resistant to abiotic stresses of the conditions of the Lower Volga region.

En l'occurrence, on sait qu'outre la confirmation d'anciens privil?ges fonciers, ils ont octroy? de nouveaux droits ? ces ?tablissements ? travers la donation de nombre de villages et d'?glises sis sur le territoire de leur Etat, tr?s agrandi apr?s la bataille de la Maritsa (26 septembre 1371), et, le cas ?ch?ant, ont r?solu les litiges fonciers les opposant entre eux. Cette activit? est attest?e par plusieurs documents d?livr?s ? ces monast?res, dont les indications chronologiques subsistant sur les originaux endommag?s ne sont pas toujours fiables, alors qu'elles font totalement d?faut sur les copies. L'auteur estime que Chilandar et Saint Pant?l??m?n sont les premiers monast?res athonites ? avoir sollicit? l'intervention des nouveaux ma?tres de la r?gion de la Strumica, tout d'abord pour r?soudre un litige concernant le village de Breznica, qui opposait ces deux ?tablissements depuis approximativement 1364. On sait que ce village est vraisemblablement ?chu au monast?re russe un peu apr?s juin 1374. A cette ?poque, d'apr?s des copies conserv?es, les fr?res Dragas ? le despote Jovan et gospodin Konstantin ? ont offert ? Saint-Pant?l??m?n une dizaine de villages sis dans la r?gion de la Strumica, dont la majorit? existent encore aujourd'hui, ainsi qu'un ou deux hameaux; la donation de ces villages incluait celle de neuf ?glises patrimoniales, auxquelles ils ont ?galement ajout? une ?glise situ?e ? Strumica et deux respectivement ? P?trie et dans les environs de cette ville. Pour sa part, le gospodin Konstantin semble avoir rattach? ? Saint-Pant?l??m?n jusqu'? 18 villages, 3 hameaux et 6 ?glises sis dans la r?gion de Tikves. En fait, nous poss?dons uniquement une seule copie faisant ?tat de la donation ? cet ?tablissement de l'?glise Saint-Georges sise ? Polosko avec les villages de Polosko, Kosane et Dragozelj. Cependant cette donation pourrait justement ?tre mise en doute compte tenu que nous savons que l'empereur Dusan a rattach? cette ?glise avec les trois villages mentionn?s au monast?re de Chilandar en f?vrier 1340. L'auteur attire toutefois l'attention sur le fait que l'?glise Saint-Georges avec ces villages, dans ce cas, se serait retrouv? comme une possession isol?e de Chilandar, entour?e de possessions de Saint-Pant?l??m?n de sorte qu'il n'exclut non plus la possibilit? qu'il soit question d'une donn?e digne de foi. Par cons?quent, une solution serait que Chilandar s'est peut-?tre vu d?dommag?e la perte de ces villages et de cette ?glise sis ? Polosko par la cession de villages sis dans une autre r?gion. Les litiges apparus entre les moines de Chilandar et ceux de Saint-Pant?l??m?n au sujet de leur possessions limitrophes, sises sur la rive droite de la Strumica ont ?t? r?solus, sur ordre du gospodin Konstantin et du conseil de ses seigneurs par les ?v?ques de Strumica et de Vodoca en 1375/76. Puis, vers 1376/77, les fr?res Dragas avec leur m?re, l'imp?ratrice Evdokija, ont confirm? ? Saint-Pant?l??m?n la possession de villages sur la seule rive droite de la Strumica, ce faisant leur acte consigne de fa?on pr?cise les droits de ces villages tr?s probablement aux fins de pr?venir tout nouveau litige avec les voisins de ces biens dans la jouissance de ceux-ci. Les donations des fr?res Dragas en faveur de Chilandar s'av?rent ?galement tr?s nombreuses. Par un acte dat? du 1er juin 1377 le despote Jovan et le gospodin Konstantin ont confirm? ? Chilandar leur ?glise patrimoniale d?di?e ? la Vierge sise au lieu dit Arhiljevica et 19 villages avec leurs droits; au printemps 1380, Konstantin, ? la demande des moines de Chilandar, a rattach? ? leur monast?re quelques villages sis dans la r?gion de Vranje; une seconde importante possession de Chilandar sise ? Lesnovo, en l'occurrence l'?glise du Saint-Archange (Michel), a ?t? restitu?e par Konstantin ? ce monast?re le 15 ao?t 1381, ? la demande de ses moines et par l'interm?diaire du milosnik vo?vode Dmitar. L'?glise du Saint-Archange a ?t? remise avec 10 villages, 5 hameaux, 4 villages abandonn?s, ainsi qu'avec tous leurs droits dans la r?gion de Lesnovo, de Bregalnica et de Stip; parall?lement, Konstantin a confirm? ? l'?glise du Saint-Archange une donation de Dusan, en l'occurrence un revenu annuel de 100 hyperpres provenant du march? de Zletovo. En plus des villages offerts par les fr?res Dragas ou par Konstantin seul, les monast?res se sont vu attribuer tous les imp?ts et corv?es rattach?s ? ces biens. Pour tout ce qu'il a fait pour leur monast?re les moines de Chilandar reconnaissants ont rang? gospodin Konstantin au nombres des fondateurs de leur ?tablissement. Les fr?res Dragas ?taient en relation avec le monast?re d'Iviron par le biais de son m?toque d?di? ? la Vierge El?oussa, situ? non loin de Strumica, auquel ils ont c?d? (le 13 janvier 1380) deux importants privil?ges, exemptant pour toujours ses hommes de l'obligation de la bigla (bigliatikori) et de la moisson de froment (zetva zitna) ? corv?es au profit de l'Etat, dont les souverains serbes exemptent d'habitude les habitants des villages appartenant ? des monast?res. Une donn?e (juin 1393) nous apprenant que le gospodin Konstantin ?tait un bienfaiteur de Kutlumus appara?t toute ? fait digne de foi; ce seigneur y est mentionn? comme son 'protecteur et fondateur'. Toutefois, nous ne poss?dons aucune information sur les donations, assur?ment importantes pour justifier ces titres honorifiques, faites par Kontantin ? cet ?tablissement. A la diff?rence des actes par lesquels les Dragas ont proc?d? ? des donations ? Saint-Pant?l??m?n, Chilandar et Iviron, et qui, par leur formulation, sont tr?s proches des actes imp?riaux, ce qui pourrait attester qu'ils sont issus de la chancellerie de souverains ind?pendants, l'acte par lequel Konstantin a confirm? ? Vatop?di, en octobre 1393, le monast?re de la Sainte-Vierge Pantanassa sis ? Melnik, petit ?tablissement gravement d?labr?, montre clairement que le donateur a une position de vassal par rapport au sultan ottoman, qu'il mentionne comme. Pour cette raison l'auteur en conclut que le despote Jovan, jusqu'? son entr?e en religion un peu apr?s 1377, et le gospodin Konstantin, vraisemblablement jusqu'? la bataille de Kosovo (13 juin 1389) ont prot?g? les int?r?ts des moines hagiorites, ? ce qu'il semble en qualit? de souverains ind?pendants satisfaisant ? leur requ?tes. The paper presents the analysis of paleopathological and demographic features of the population from the settlement of Tsarevskoe Gorodishche and its environs which is located in Leninsky District of the Volgograd Re-gion. The purpose of the study is evaluation of the frequency of occurrence of distress traits in the population of the Golden Horde town. The examined series consists of 149 individuals. As the result of the conducted study, it has been ascertained that the majority of inhabitants of the town had a relatively peaceful lifestyle. Children were primarily affected by the negative factors of urbanization. Chronic diseases associated with micronutrients defi-ciency in the body were predominantly the cause of infant and child mortality.

(Chilopoda: Geophilomorpha, Geophilidae) is herein described and illustrated after the holotype (male), paratypes (males and females), and additional non type specimens from Northeastern Argentina (Mesopotamian region). The new species is characterized by having a cluster of coxal organs in each coxopleuron of the ultimate leg-bear-ing segment and a claw-like pretarsus in the ultimate legs, bearing a very unusual feature, in that the internal limbs of ten-torium have a conspicuous tooth-shaped sclerotized process directed inward. R. lewisi sp. nov. is only the second confirmed record of the genus Ribautia from Argentina, the other being R. jakulicai Pereira, 2007 from Northwestern re-gion of the country (Yungas biogeographical province).

The article examines the problem of state regulation of land management and land use issues by the white government of the European North during the Civil War. The author analyzes the state of land relations in this region and states that due to geographical, climatic, social and military-political conditions, similar relations in the provinces of central and southern Russia differed significantly. The article reveals the position that the main contradictions in the use of land were not in the legal regulation of landowner–peasant relations, but in the legal unsettlement of the boundaries of forest clearing and land plots of peasant community members, farmers, tenants, territories of neighboring peasant societies, monasteries and churches. In conditions when the idea of inviolability of communal land use prevailed in the legal consciousness of peasants, the normative legal acts of the Provisional Government of the Northern Territory, which largely reflected the main provisions of the land program of the Party of Socialist Revolutionaries on the legislative abolition of private ownership of land and free use of it, were generally positively received by peasants. At the same time, their temporary nature and the requirement of the Omsk Council of Ministers to unify land laws in matters of restoring ownership of land on a national scale aroused wariness and distrust in their own power among residents of northern villages. Because of this, peasants were leaning towards the Soviet government and its Decree on land.

The text traces the changes in the ethnic identification of Muslims in the municipality of Gotse Delchev (with a special focus on the villages of Breznitsa, Lazhnitsa and Kornitsa, where assimilation, called the "revival" process, has taken the most victims). The four censuses after 1989 were used, the first of which (in 1992) – annulled be-cause it did not correspond "to the real ethnodemographic structure of the popula-tion".Quantitative and qualitative studies have also been used to show a correlation between the memory of assimilation and the ethnic identification of people in the re-gion. The results of the study "Majority and Minorities: Attitudes towards the Differ-ent" are given, which also affects the attitude of the majority to the "revival" process.

The paper presents the results of the study (2016–2020) of five grapevine varieties under the code name Bessergenevsky at the Don ampelographic collection named after Ya.I. Potapenko (Novocherkassk, Rostov re-gion). In 1949, when examining the varietal composition of old grapevine plantations (in the village of Bessergenevskaya Rostov re-gion), grapevine varieties were discovered and called Bessergenevskie. Among them, some varieties turned out to be promising. As con-trols, we used classic varieties – for white ber-ry – Riesling Reinskiy, for varieties with col-ored berries – Cabernet Sauvignon. The per-centage of blossoming eyes in most of the studied varieties was higher than in the control ones (except for varieties – Bessergenevsky No. 7 and Bessergenevsky No. 3). The per-centage of fruiting shoots and the coefficient of fruiting in all studied varieties were lower than in the control ones. The average bunch weight varied from 84 g in the control variety Risling Reinskiy to 346 g in the Bessergenev-sky variety No. 7. In terms of yield (as well as the average bunch weight), all varieties (except for Bessergenevsky No. 5) exceeded the con-trol ones. For a more complete characterization of the studied varieties, auvological assess-ment was made. Samples of wine materials were prepared from the studied varieties ac-cording to the classical technologies for the preparation of white and red table dry wines. The highest degustation marks (8.8 points) were obtained for the control varieties; from the studied varieties, a sample – Bessergenev-sky No. 10, was pointed out, which received an estimate of 8.6 points. On the basis of the research among five grape varieties according to a complex of economically valuable traits, a medium-late wine white-berry variety Bes-sergenevsky No. 10 was distinguished, from which good quality dry table wines of a pale straw color, with a delicate harmonious aroma of field herbs and light floral tones are ob-tained.

But Ayurveda has described the Kshar sutra therapy for the treatment of fistula in ano which have high success rate, but time taken. With time, revolution has also come in Ayurve-dic treatment modalities for anorectal fistulas. A modified Ksharsutra technique is new technique for treatment of complex fistula in ano. The name of this technique is interception of fistulous tract and appli-cation of Ksharsutra (IFTAK). This technique has high success rate with minimal complication, early re-covery and there is no recurrence is associated. Cosmetically, this technique is good.

Russian real estate owners in Bulgaria are about 300–500,000 people. This figure exceeds the number of Russian immigrants in Bulgaria in the period 1917–1922 by over 10 times. They are concentrated predominantly in the Black Sea Coast re- gion forming a specific ethnic group gradually strengthening their presence in the local cultural context. The present research is based on fieldwork conducted in the town of Tsarevo, SE Bulgaria (2013–2018), interviews, participant observation, and media data. Ethnic relations between the two communities are analyzed in the context of cultural proximity, shared Orthodox faith, linguistic similarity, and the long and complicated history of Russian–Bulgarian relations. Against the background of these positive factors, strict maintenance of ethnic boundaries, practices of disrespecting local rules, politicizing everyday communication, and strategies of deliberate isolation of Russians from local Bulgarians are registered.

Las series de tiempo se agruparon con una igual discretización y duración. Usando métodos lineales y no lineales del análisis espectral (máxima entropía y máxima verosimilitud) se identificaron los principales periodos en el rango de días a décadas, obteniendo estimaciones de las amplitudes medias cuadráticas. Se discuten las causas físicas de las oscilaciones, así como las relaciones internas entre las fluctuaciones de diferentes parámetros hidrometeorológicos. Se discuten las causas de las grandes variaciones en el nivel del lago y en los brotes periódicos del lirio acuático.

The number of forest fires has increased significantly over the past ten years. It indicates that forest area estimates fires are a very urgent task today. The use of satellite-based data simplifies the process of assessing forest fires. The aim is to develop an information tech-nology for automated forest fire contours detection on digital optical satellite datas in con-ditions of non-stationarity and uncertainty based on convolutional neural networks. The most popular tools for forest fire analysis are considered. This work proposed using hotspots to identify all fire and smoke pixels for automated forest fire contour detection. It made it possible to obtain contour polygons of the corresponding areas with various attrib-utes: position, size, etc. The results are tested on Sentinel 2 satellite images of the Ávila re-gion. The proposed method has an overall accuracy of 94.3% for the selection of forest fires.

Aim. To study the status of provision of planned and urgent care to patients with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) in round-the-clock urological hospitals of the Ryazan region in recent 5 years. Materials and Methods. Statistical processing of the data for 2015-2020 obtained from medical statistics services of urological hospitals of Ryazan was performed. The following parameters were studied: the average age of patients who turned to emergency room with the diagnosis of acute retention of urine; the amount of surgical interventions (cystectomies) per months and years of the reporting period: open adenomectomy (in the following modifications: transvesical ade-nomectomy, retropubic adenomectomy), transurethral resection of prostate. Results. A high amount of referral of patients with BPH with clinical symptoms of acute reten-tion of urine was identified. The quantity and the share of palliative surgeries in the structure of patients with BPH stays at a high level. A tendency to growth in the amount of minimally inva-sive operations in surgical treatment for BPH is noted. Conclusion. The analysis of statistical data indicates the need for improvement of the quality of dispensary observation of patients with BPH, and improvement of methods of minimally inva-sive surgical treatment of BPH.

The special attention is paid to the manifes-tations of this phenomenon in the post-Soviet re-gion and the Middle East, as well as “soft power” in Turkish diplomacy. Nowadays Turkey is positioning itself as a global player, which is involved in the main geopolitical processes and is trying to extend its influence to neighboring regions. It is concluded that the combination of military and political poten-tial with “soft” instruments gives Ankara the oppor-tunity to declare itself as an authoritative regional and global leader. The authors predict possible di-rections of Turkish foreign policy in the near future.

The study of masticatory muscles allows timely detection of changes in their functional state, as well as to identify borderline pathological processes that can lead to the development of morphological and functional disorders in the maxillofacial region. This work was carried out in order to determine changes in the functional state of the masticatory muscles in patients with de-fects in the dentition in the lateral region before and after the orthopedic treatment. To achieve this goal, an electromyographic study of the masticatory muscles was performed in 95 patients with uni-lateral and bilateral defects of the dentition in the lateral region before and after restoration of the occlusal relationship of the dentition. As a result of the examination, pronounced malfunctions of the masticatory muscles were revealed in patients with defects in the dentition. After orthopedic treatment, a restoration of the balanced functioning of the muscular system of the maxillofacial re-gion was noted.

All the sections of the publication proposed by the authors have scientific content and “carry great educational and upbringing potential”. Studies have shown that the ex¬isting air service network does not fully meet the needs of the population and organizations of the region under consideration in air transportation. The dynamics and structure of passenger traffic passing though the airports of the region are ana¬lyzed. The issues of subsidizing passenger air transportation are considered. The results of cal¬culation of the level of aviation mobility of the population of the European and Ural North of Russia are presented. The issues of creating a fed¬eral state-owned enterprise for air transport and restoring the activities of Polar aviation in the re¬gion are considered. It is shown that further pro¬spects for the development of air transport net¬work in the European and Ural North of Russia are associated with an increase in the level of air accessibility of the territory under consideration.

Abstract The public library of Valenza, in the Italian region of Piedmont, holds two parchment fragments of Jacob van Maerlant’s Spiegel historiael which are used to protect other documents. The present paper is the first study dedicated to them. The leaves are first described separately, highlighting their shape as well as the text which has been handed down to us. Taking into account paleographical, ortho-graphical and linguistic aspects, the author tries to reconstruct the original manu-script from which both fragments derive, reaching the conclusion that it was writ-ten in the first quarter of the 14th century in the area of (South-)Eastern Flanders or Western Brabant. Furthermore, special attention is paid to the hypothesis that the fragments reached Piedmont because of the strong presence in the Low Countries of Italian money lenders, the so called ‘Lombards’, who came exactly from that re-gion. The complete edition of the Middle Dutch text, followed by notes, concludes the study.

The purpose of this publication is to present to scientific discussion a unique casting mould. The foundry mold was discovered accidentally in 2019 near the Pyshma River in the Yalutorovsk District of the Tyumen Re-gion. It represents a four-sided trapezoid bar of gray slate stone, slightly tapered to one end. On three sides of the bar, negatives are cut out for casting three different products. The first side has a negative for casting а slotted spearhead with roller on pen slots. The bushing is hollow, the blade is laurel-shaped. The second negative was also used for casting the short-socketed slotted spearhead. The third matrix was for casting celt-adze. The syn-chronicity of the negatives of the spearheads and the celt-adze on the cast allows dating this mould to the 15th–11th c. BC and correlating it to the time of existence of the Alekseevka-Sargary Culture.

The author analyzes the activities of missionaries from the Republic of Korea and the results of their work on Sakhalin in the post-Soviet period. The study is relevant due to the lack of research in Rus-sian historiography. The migration and religious legislation of the Russian Federation and the Sakha-lin region, which caused the successes and prob-lems in the activities of Korean missionaries in the 1990s are analyzed. The results of the activities of missionaries from South Korea, aimed primarily at representatives of the Korean diaspora, in the 1990s include a rapid increase in the number of Protestant religious organizations and their members actively involved in solving significant social problems of the post-Soviet transformation period (charitable, educational, educational activities of missionary churches). After 1997 the growth in the number of churches stabilized, however, the churches estab-lished by Korean missionaries in the 1990s are still active, defining the confessional image of the re-gion.

The purpose of this article is to structure current regional challenges and threats to the security of the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as to identify possible ways to overcome risk factors to achieve the effective implementation of nation-al regional development goals. The research methodology is based on activi-ty-based, interpretive, statistical, and monitoring approaches to the political analysis of potential challenges and threats to the territorial develop-ment of the subjects of the Russian Federation, regional social community, and regional political economic system. The authors substantiate possible ways to strengthen the safe space of the re-gion. As a result of the research, the authors draw conclusions that the lack of regulation of interregional borders, an insufficiently thought–out mechanism for creating agglomerations in the economic and geographical zones of the country, threats in the border area, and socio–economic difficulties hinder the strategizing of territorial development.

The object of the study was chosen as the infrastructure of the motor transport complex of the regions whose territories are fully belonging to the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation – the Murmansk Oblast, the Nenets, Yamalo-Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Okrugs. As estimation parameters on the social component were used the index of transport network density per 10 thousand people, complex index of transport provision of territories (Engel’s coefficient), coefficient of transport mobility of the population; as estimation parameters on the production component were used the indexes of transport network density relative to economic entities of the region and complex indexes of transport provision of production, taking into account the production of the re-gion.

A field experiment was carried out at the Afghanistan National Agricultural Sciences and Technology University (ANASTU), Kandahar, during the rainy (kharif) season (AprilAugust) of 2015, to study the yield and profitability responses of maize (Zea mays L.) to different crop-establishment methods and nitrogen (N) levels in semi-arid re- gion of Afghanistan. The treatments consisted of 3 crop-establishment methods, viz. broadcast, line sowing and ridge sowing, allotted to main plots and 4 N levels, viz. 0, 120, 160, 200 kg N/ha, in subplots. The experiment was conducted in a three-time replicated split plot. The results revealed that crop-establishment methods did not influ- enced yield attributes like number of cobs/plant, cob length, cob girth, rows/cob, grains/row significantly; however numerically higher magnitude of these yield attributes was observed under ridge planting. Moreover, ridge plant- ing recorded significantly higher number of grains/cob (390.1) and 1,000-grain weight (272.6 g), which finally re- sulted in significantly higher grain yield (6.30 t/ha). Owing to higher yield, Net returns and benefit: cost ratio were also higher with ridge planting. Among the N levels, an application of 200 kg N/ha resulted in the maximum values of all yield attributes, which led to significantly higher grain yield (5.77 t/ha) and benefit: cost ratio (2.43) compared to all other N-levels.

DNA polymorphism has been studied, indicators of genetic diversity and genetic originality have been de-termined for three natural populations and three replacement broodstocks of sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus Linnaeus, Acipenseridae) from the Volga Federal District. In the group of A. ruthenus replacement broodstock, 106 ISSR-PСR markers were identified, and in the group of natural populations, 103 ISSR-PСR markers. The indicators of genetic diversity and the coefficient of genetic originality (CGO) were slightly higher in the group of natural populations. Analysis of genetic structure of natural populations and groups of broodstock herds A. ruthenus showed that the coefficient of genetic differentiation are also slightly higher in the group of natural populations and equal 0,377. As a result of molecular genetic iden-tification, generic and species identification fragments of sterlet DNA were revealed, as well as combina-tions of polymorphic fragments for identification of the studied natural populations and stocks. The data obtained can be used to preserve the gene pool of populations, which is characteristic for a particular re-gion.

The article presents the results of the study of grapevine genetic resources at Don Ampelo-graphic Collection named after Ya.I. Potapenko (Novocherkassk, Rostov re-gion). In 2016–2020, agrobiological, uvologi-cal, chemical and technological study of 9 ta-ble varieties and 2 technical varieties of the Moldovan breeding was carried out. The pur-pose of the research was to determine the adaptive potential of varieties in the condi-tions of the Lower Don region and to accu-mulate material for the database. According to the complex of economically valuable signs (a high percentage of blooming eyes, fruit-bearing shoots, yield, sugar and acid content, organoleptic assessment), the following varie-ties stand out: Skorenskiy krasnyy, Moldova, Zvezdnyy, Vierul–59, Marshalskiy. The tech-nical variety of Norok was distinguished by the productivity and high quality of the wine, the wine tasting score was 8.7 points. The Pyfos variety can be recommended for selec-tion for winter hardiness (the safety of the eyes is 97.6 %) and productivity (the percent-age of fruitful shoots is 90.7, and the coeffi-cient of fruitfulness of shoots is 1.6).

The work raises an issue of development and implementation of the Russian regional law-making policy in the direction of ensuring innovative activity. The Tambov Region is regarded as a region for scientific and practical generalizations, conclusions, and recommendations. Some lagging of the regional levels behind similar policies at the federal level, where a significant number of legislative acts regulating innovation relations have been adopted, is stated. The legislative prescriptions that determine the task of developing innovative relations for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including through purposeful lawmaking in this direction, are indicated. It is proved that, according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have a sufficient number of powers to pursue a law-making and power-adminis-trative policy in the field of science, technology, innovation. The steps taken in the Tambov Region in this direction are assessed. Critical remarks and recommendations are expressed regarding the improvement of the law-making policy in the field of innovations in the territory of the Tambov Re-gion.

The article presents research data on the de-pendence between the yield and quality of grapes and shoot load. The studies were car-ried out at the All-Russian Research Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking named after Ya.I. Potapenko, Novocherkassk, Rostov re-gion. On the root-own vineyards of the Per-venets Magaracha variety tolerant to phyllox-era, the following load rates were studied: 30; 35; 40; 45 shoots per bush. For two years of research, the maximum yield was obtained in plantations with a load of 45 shoots per plant: in 2019 - 23.2; in 2020 - 14.7 t / ha with the mass concentration of sugars in berry juice 183 and 170 g / dm3, respectively. The best indicators of the quality of grapes were marked in the variant with the minimum load of shoots in the experiment: the mass concen-tration of sugars in berry juice was 196 g / dm3 in 2019 and 180 g / dm3 in 2020; the concentration of titratable acids was 7.6 and 8.8 g / dm3, respectively.

The article examines the topics related to the armed intervention of three empires - the Ottoman, German and British on the territory of the Caucasus in 1918-1920. The reasons why these states implemented their foreign policy in the Northern Caucasus and Transcaucasian during the First World War and immediately after it are given. It is proved that the three empires had completely different motivations for invading the territory of the former Russian Empire in the Caucasus re-gion. If the Ottoman Empire first of all hatched revanchist plans to return the region that once be-longed to them to its state, using pan-Islamism and pan-Turkism as leverage, then the German Empire wanted to join the economic exploitation of the Caucasus, primarily the Baku oil fields. It is concluded that the most large-scale military intervention came from Great Britain, which was due to extensive pre-war investments in the oil industry of the Caucasus and, in this regard, the desire to protect their positions in this region, including by military means.
