Abstract:
Abstract Mature bearing 'Anjou' trees were sprayed with aircarrier equipment applying 400 gal/acre for control of pear pests. Three rates of Insegar were compared to a standard program including a 15 May application of Guthion 35% WP 3 lb, Agri-Mek . 15 E 20 oz and oil 1 gal/ acre followed by a 19 Jun application of Guthion 35% WP 3 lb/acre. Insegar was applied 4 times during the season beginning at first egg lay of codling moth as determined by DD accumulation and again 21 d later for first generation then 2 second brood sprays timed the same way. Application dates and corresponding DD post biofix were as follows: 23 Apr, 74; 15 May, 231; 19 Jun, 586 and 9 Jul, 993. Plots consisted of 3 replicates of 30-40 trees in rectangles. Treatments were evaluated for control of PP and phytophagous mite species by counts made at 2-wk intervals. Adults PP were counted from a 25-beating-tray sample per replication. PP nymphs and phytophagous mites were counted from a 50-leaf sample per replicate. Leaf samples consisted of the proximal leaf, distal leaf and 3 leaves from the middle of 10 terminal shoots. Leaves were brushed and resulting slides were examined under magnification. Pest damage was rated according to U.S. grade standards for fresh market pears on 2 samples of 25 mature fruits per replication. Factors of fruit quality including firmness, soluble solids and size were evaluated from 2 10-fruit samples per replicate at normal harvest maturity. Fruit and foliage were examined for phytotoxicity after each spray.

Abstract:
Sweetener is food additive consisting of natural sweetener and artificial sweetener which give sweet sensation to food products. Table-top sweeteners are sought due to its advantages in comparison to sugar, which is giving off sweet sensation in food with no or low calorie. This is proven useful for people who suffer from illnesses, such as diabetes mellitus, obesity, and sensitive tooth. This need should be supported by development of table-top sweeteners to satisfy consumer preferences. Rate-All-That-Apply (RATA) is a consumer based test developed from Check-All-That-Apply (CATA). The objective of this research is to study sensory profiles of various table-top sweeteners based on diabetic and non-diabetic consumer and its intensity, as well as identifying attributes which determines consumer preference. There were six table-top sweeteners used in this study with three group of panelists based on their medical history. The research result revealed that sweetener A was identic to the attribute cooling, sweet aftertaste, sweet, body thickness, licorice, and mouth drying. Sweetener C and F were identic to the attribute metallic aftertaste, bitter aftertaste, bitter, and metallic. Diabetics give the most hedonic score above the average value to Sweetener A, B, and D. Non-diabetics with a heredity of diabetes give the most hedonic score above the average value to Sweetener B. Non-diabetics without a heredity of diabetes give the most hedonic score above the average value to Sweetener D and E. Generally, consumer could not identify attributes which determines their preference, however they could define unwanted attributes in table-top sweeteners, which are bitter, bitter aftertaste, metallic, metallic aftertaste, and mouth drying.

Abstract:
Demographic transition as well as urbanisation is a great factor of the socio-economic behaviour of tribal communities but it is also affecting their health status because simple tribal people have ability to adopt themselves in their habitation throughout their life span whereas impact of alien environment and uprooting from their habitat and settlement in another place generating fertility and pregnancy associated problems amongst them. Fertility rate is usually defined by the total live birth within the fertile age group but pregnancy rate measures the actual parameters of having child (Child Birth) which is based on total live birth, total abortion and loss of foetus. Hence it is hypothesised that the pregnancy rate is absolutely related to the wealth and education level of the tribal population in both rural and urban areas. With above background and hypothesis, the main objective of the study is to find out the fertility and pregnancy rate by residence and find out its associate factors which are responsible for high and low pregnancy rate. Secondary literature review and primary data collection are the basic tools of this research paper whereas District Level Health Survey Report 3, Sample Registration Report (2009), Annual Health Survey Report (2011) and different published articles, news, Internet and books have been followed as review and primary data are gathered from field work by pre tested structured schedule with the help of interview and Focus Group Discussions. The Specific formulas are used to find out the rate of pregnancy and its associated measures which are correlated with economy and education of the target group. After analysis results /findings are justified with secondary literature. For the study purpose tribal dominating village Nerli and urban area Bacheli of district south Bastar Dantewada, Chhattisgarh had been selected. The total live birth is 28 point less than the TLB of rural areas whereas abortion rate is 52.06 point high in urban area along with the loss of foetus is also 10 point high in that area in same income group. Hence, the high abortion rate and loss of foetus had been seen in low wealth quintile in urban population while abortion rate and loss of foetus were high in the middle wealth quintile category in rural areas. It is positive result of our research that the abortion rate and loss of foetus both are comparatively low in high wealth quintile group in both rural and urban areas as compare to low and middle economy group. In account of literacy the abortion rate and loss of foetus were lower amongst literate people of urban (141.76) and rural areas (98.55) as compared to illiterate people of both residential areas (urban: 180.46 and rural: 73.16) but it has been significant of the study is both abortion with 43.21 point and loss of foetus with 1 point high in rate in urban population rather than rural population. The findings of our study are the evident about the tribal population who had been resided in urban areas had lower pregnancy rate (242.67) and also low fertility rate (2.3) with higher abortion (322.22) and higher rate of the loss of foetus (6.1) which plays an essential role of declining in their population in Chhattisgarh. In order to solve the fertility and pregnancy related problems there is a need of assessment by anthropologists and medical practitioners together to find out the pregnancy and fertility related socio-physical factors for their betterment.

Abstract:
This study analyzes the factors responsible for the lower net interest rate at commercial banks located in Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. Data were collected from 35, 10 and 13 commercial banks in Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, respectively, from 2012 to 2020 using the Fixed effect model. The Simultaneous Equation Model was used to analyze the macroeconomic factors and banks’ specific characteristics towards Loan and Time Deposit rates. The result showed that macroeconomic factors, such as the inflation rate, significantly affect loan and time deposit rates in these countries. In Indonesia, bank competition should be reduced and banks’ stability should be higher to minimize Net Interest Margin Spread (difference between Loan Rate and Deposit Rate). In the Philippines, banks should increase their capital and liquidity. So, they will be more confident and prudent in lowering their NIM. Thailand’s banking industry has unique characteristics with high monopoly power. The bigger and greater the market share, the larger the interest rate spread on customers. Therefore, regulators in each country need to consider these important variables when making decisions on lowering the net interest rates by banks to enhance social welfare.

Abstract:
Purpose Our knowledge of speech rate development remains inadequate because of limited longitudinal data and lack of data from children under age 3;0 (years;months). The purpose of this longitudinal study was to test the pattern of speech rate development between ages 2;0 and 3;0. Method Speech rate was assessed at 4 time points between ages 2;0 and 3;0. The analysis employed multilevel models to characterize the development of speech rate (syllables per second), phonemes per second (PPS), length of active declarative sentences, and mean length of utterance. Results The results indicate a significant linear increase in speech rate, PPS, length of active declarative sentences, and mean length of utterance occurring over the 1-year period. Male and female children differed in speech rate, PPS, and utterance length, suggesting sex is a potential factor in early speech rate development. Conclusions Our findings indicate that the speech motor system develops rapidly during the period when grammar emerges. Speech rate has the potential to be an important metric for understanding typical speech development and speech disorders.
