L'analisi dell'evoluzione del sistema duale in Francia, Germania, Austria e Svizzera fornisce importanti indicazioni su come orientare gli interventi; l'analisi dell'esperienza italiana mostra alcune fragilità del disegno di policy e consente di avanzare delle proposte di miglioramento.

Il saggio prende le mosse dai presupposti politici che portarono alla candidatura, nel 1978, di Gerardo Bianco alla carica di capogruppo DC alla Camera dei deputati. Dopo un primo insuccesso, l'elezione del politico irpino a capogruppo (giugno 1979) avrebbe costituito un inequivocabile segno di ribellione dei deputati democristiani verso gli indirizzi della segreteria del partito. Attraverso l'azione di Bianco come capogruppo DC alla Camera, l'articolo intende analizzare la linea della corrente democristiana «Proposta» (della quale Bianco era uno dei leader), volta - tra il 1979 ed i primi anni Ottanta - a decretare la fine della stagione del "compromesso storico" e ad orientare il partito ad intraprendere una fase di riforme del sistema politico e istituzionale. Il tentativo di Proposta fallirà, ma costituirà la base sulla quale si svilupperà, qualche anno dopo, la stagione referendaria condotta da Mario Segni.

Abstract:
Increasing water pollution is a rising concern due to industrial and domestic waste disposal in water bodies. River in the Delhi vicinity is highly polluted for the past few years due to receiving a large amount of wastewater disposal, where the in-organic waste of industrial disposal and domestic disposal are drained from 16 drainage points in the stretch of 21.9 Kilometres in river Yamuna. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cause of the pollution and compare it with the permissible parameter values using software tool. Using the Qual2Kw tool, this study analysed the water quality parameters along with the flow of the river. It is Waste load, Dissolve oxygen and pathogenic contain that plays the greatest role in the degradation of the river that leads to pollution by receiving discharge through different drain points in the length of 21.9 Kilometre along with the flow of the river in Delhi. This study defiantly explains the reason for increasing pollution and compares the calibrated data with the permissible standard values. It can be concluded that River Yamuna falls in Class D and highly polluted state, having a much higher value of waste load than permissible.

Abstract:
A previsão dos efeitos poluidores sobre uma bacia hidrográfica é uma constante necessidade para os órgãos de gestão ambiental e para os tomadores de decisão neste âmbito. Dentro deste contexto, os modelos matemáticos que permitam prever danos ou melhorias na qualidade de água de bacias hidrográficas são importantes ferramentas para este fim. O Qual2E desponta como uma destas ferramentas, de acesso livre, aplicável à sistemas fluviais, unidimensionais, bem misturados e de fluxo constante. Este trabalho propõe uma aplicação do Qual2E para o rio Corumbataí, localizado no interior do Estado de São Paulo, visando a obtenção de uma curva representativa para a qualidade de água do rio. Para tal, foi utilizada a metodologia sugerida pelo modelo, que prevê a divisão do sistema em trechos de características hidráulicas semelhantes e a subdivisão desses trechos em elementos de mesma extensão - os elementos computacionais (ECs). Os dados de vazão, profundidade, concentração de OD (oxigênio dissolvido), DBO (demanda bioquímica de oxigênio), temperatura, carga e localização de fontes poluidoras foram obtidos através de um projeto de parceria da CETESB com a USP, que contempla a elaboração de um banco de dados para qualidade de água da bacia. Este banco, georreferenciado, foi utilizado tanto para a entrada de condições iniciais no modelo,como para a construção da curva de referência dos dados reais de campo, para comparação com a curva calculada pelo modelo. Os coeficientes de reação - resultantes da interação entre as variáveis OD e DBO - presentes no sistema de equações diferenciais resolvidas pelo modelo, foram estimados através de tentativa e erro, até a concordância com os dados observados. A calibração efetuada se mostrou eficiente em reproduzir os dados observados, validando os parâmetros estimados através de um outro conjunto de dados.Uma análise de sensibilidade foi realizada para os parâmetros k1,k2,k3 e k4 e a curva calculada foi mais sensível ao coeficiente de decaimento de DBO. As limitações inerentes ao modelo, à coleta de dados e ao tratamento estatístico dos dados disponíveis impediram uma melhor concordância da curva calculada com a observada.
The forecast of the polluting effects over a hydric basin is a constant need for the official environmental managers and for the people responsible for the decisions in this subject. Therefore, mathematical models that allow forecast damages or improvements in the river basin water quality are important tools for this purpose. Qual2E appears as one of these tools, of free access, and suitable for one-dimensional well-mixed rivers with constant flow. The objective of this work is to apply the Qual2E model to Corumbataí River, located in São Paulo State, in order to obtain a representative curve of the river water quality. The method suggested by the model request the division of the river in reaches with similar hydric features and a subdivision of these reaches in computational elements (CEs) with the same extension. The flow data, depth, DO (Dissolved Oxygen) concentration, BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), temperature, load and location of pollution sources were obtained from a joint project between CETESB and USP, that resulted in a database for the water quality of the basin. This geo-referenced database was used both for the initial conditions to the model, as for the determination of a reference curve with the real field data, for comparison with the calculated curve of the model. The reaction coefficients - resulting from the interaction between DO and BOD - are the constants of the differential equations system solved by the model, were estimated through trial and error, until the agreement with the observed data. The calibration was efficient to reproduce the field data, through the validation for another group of data. A sensitivity analysis was executed for the parameters k1, k2, k3 and k4 and the calculated curve seemed to be more sensible to the BOD decaying coefficient. The limitations inherent to the model, the data collecting and the statistical treatment of the available data did not allow a better agreement between the calculated and the observed curves.

Abstract:
La schizophrenie est une maladie chronique invalidante et heterogene. Le pronostic et la reponse au traitement sont tres variables. Dans l'etat actuel de nos connaissances, malgre l'apparition de nouveaux antipsychotiques et les traitements psychosociaux la guerison n'est pas aujourd'hui un but realiste pour la majorite des schizophrenes. La qualite de vie offre une facon de considerer la situation de vie dans son ensemble plutot que de se centrer sur la pathologie, ce qui correspond a une perspective holistique de la sante pronee par l'organisation mondiale de la sante. Nous avons etudie les qualites psychometriques de la version francaise de l'echelle de qualite de vie de heinrichs (quality of life scale, qls), ainsi que les liens entre la psychopathologie, les donnees socio-demographiques et la qualite de vie. Les proprietes metrologiques de la version francaise de la qls sont satisfaisantes, seule la fidelite inter-juges parait moins satisfaisante dans notre etude. Ceci semble imputable au moins partiellement, a la methode de recueil des donnees (entretiens enregistres video). L'etude de la qualite de vie des schizophrenes montre que ces patients presentent un bas niveau de qualite de vie objective et subjective. Les symptomes negatifs ont un effet deletere sur la qualite de vie des patients schizophrenes. En revanche, la repercussion des symptomes positifs sur la qualite de vie doit etre nuancee. Dans notre etude, l'unique variable socio-demographique qui influence la qualite de vie est le travail. En effet, les patients ayant une activite professionnelle ont une meilleure qualite de vie quelle que soit l'intensite de leur symptomatologie negative. L'evaluation de la qualite de vie est appelee a se developper en psychiatrie et a se doter d'instruments adaptes aux differentes pathologies etudiees. Elle a pour objectif principal de faciliter une meilleure adequation entre les aspirations des patients et la nature de la prise en charge offerte par les therapeutes.

Abstract:
L'on étudie dans cette thèse les conséquences d'un cadre d'information incomplète et asymétrique sur la qualité et les prix des produits dans un contexte de concurrence monopolistique en qualité. Dans cette perspective on construit un certain nombre de modèles qui mettent en présence une ou plusieurs firmes et un groupe de consommateurs, dont la particularité est de ne découvrir la qualité des biens qu'au moment de la consommation. L'étude de ces modèles conduit a une analyse des concepts d'équilibre récents proposes par la théorie des jeux. L'on montre que ces concepts ne résistent pas a certains tests logiques et qu'ils ne prennent pas en considération la totale rationalité des acteurs. Aussi construit-on trois nouveaux concepts d'équilibre, fondes sur la non contradiction des interprétations des actions des acteurs, et la pleine exploitation des signaux inclus tant dans les déviations (par rapport aux actions d'équilibre) que dans les non déviations. Ces trois concepts mettent en lumière la complexité de l'impact de l'information incomplète et asymétrique sur les principales variables des modèles en prix-qualité étudiés
This thesis points out the impact of incomplete and asymmetric information on product prices and qualities, in a context of monopolistic competition in quality. To this aim one constructs a few models where one or more sellers face a consumer group, whose particularity consists in perceiving the product quality only after purchase. The study of these models leads to an analysis of the recent game theory equilibrium criteria. It underlines the fact that most of these criteria fail some logical tests, or do not take into account the whole rationality of the players. So it leads to the construction of three new equilibrium criteria, which are based on the absence of contradiction in the interpretation of players' actions, and on a whole exploitation of the signals conveyed both by deviations (of equilibrium strategies) and equilibrium actions. These criteria bring into light the complexity of the impact of incomplete and asymmetric information on the most important variables of the studied price and quality models

Abstract:
We introduce the concept of "tragic choices": those that concern our vital and identity experiences. As in the tragedies of classical Greek theater, there are circumstances in which there is no right and wrong, since theses capable of exhibiting arguments of almost equal strength are opposed. This is what happens today due to the contrast between economic and ecological predicaments: there is no optimal choice in this regard, valid always and in any case, that allows us to neglect and forget the other option. This is why, in pragmatic terms, the concept of “a-growth” is useful: we check on a case-by-case basis when economic growth can still be useful, when it should be slowed down and when it needs to be reduced. This approach is part of the research, itself pragmatic, of the "boundaries of the biosphere". These are not rigid limits, but constraints that must be interpreted and adapted, based on the idea of "being happy", where being satisfied means making the biosphere feel good with us inside.

My essay focuses on the correspondences sent to the Gonzaga of Mantua and received and preserved in the Mantuan chancery during the 14th century. The broad range of correspondences gathered in the Mantuan archives covers almost all the north and central Italy, from Tuscany to the Val d’Adige, from Genoa to Venice. Its quantity and variety open the gate to a most needed investigation of the epistolary forms of political and diplomatic communication in the 14th century, therefore fostering a better understanding of this crucial period, squeezed between the better known communal Duecento and princely Quattrocento.

Abstract:
Hot springs have traditionally been a tourist attraction in many parts of the world, such as Japan, Canada, Taiwan among others. During the peak tourist season, it is usually discharged into streams without treatment, which can affect the quality of the receiving water, causing negative impacts to the aquatic ecosystems. Downstream ecological impacts of several major spa recreational sites in different parts of the world have been studied, and it has been found that wastewater discharges of hot springs have adverse ecological effects. The mineral composition in hot springs, derived mainly from groundwater, is usually greater than that of stream water. Studies carried out with models such as QUAL2K (or Q2K), the modernized version of the QUAL2E (or Q2E), simulate the effect of the hot spring discharges on surface water sources, mainly negative in nature. Despite the negative consequences of the impacts on ecosystems derived from hot springs’ wastewater, it is interesting to note that there are regulations for wastewater discharges – including backwash water from swimming pools – into rivers and sewers (e.g., Germany and Canada), but not specifically for hot springs discharge. Nonetheless, this evidence indicates a necessity for the authorities to increase the control of the use of hot springs and the discharge of their untreated waters. In Colombia, Resolution 631 of 2015 regulates the discharge of wastewater into rivers and sewers. Yet, it does not consider parameters for the discharge of hot springs. However, the authors deem it necessary to advance in the investigation on the contamination of the wastewaters coming from hot springs, and think about a sustainable tourism of hot springs.

What future for fortified heritage: problems of conservation and enhancementWhat are the risk factors that undermine the conservation of fortified architecture? What are the future prospects of a heritage that is not always adequately protected and valued? These are the questions posed by castles, towers, fortresses that seem to have lost the meaning of their existence, for having failed in their original function. Certainly the abandonment involves an inevitable lack of maintenance with the inevitable decay due to natural causes with slow action and prolonged over time. But even bad restorations conducted without the necessary historical-critical awareness and the necessary technical skills can irreversibly cancel documents of art and history, as well as “material testimonies of civilization value”. It is a heritage of multiple criticalities that offers an extraordinary opportunity for contemporary design aiming at conservation. Innumerable problems are posed by fortified architectures, first and foremost the accessibility, but also their management, which cannot but take into account the very close typology-function relationship and where, however, the old utilization is no longer possible. Unquestionably the first step is represented by the knowledge of these singular architectures, in the becoming of historical processes, which is an unavoidable moment on which the choices aiming at conservation and valorisation depend. Emblematic from this point of view are some case studies investigated in Puglia which pose the problem of maximum conservative attention and desirable enhancement, pursued with the promotion of knowledge and the assurance of the best conditions of use, provided that the new function is respectful of the identity of the object of study, of its use vocations and attentive to the needs and expectations of the community.
