Abstract:
Many people think that Punk is a deviant behavior, a nuisance, synonymous with violence, a free lifestyle, closely related to drugs, free sex, thuggery, and so on which gives a negative stigma. Punk children who are members of the underground Sufism community, have learned and made themselves better, this indicates that not all punk children are negative like what is stigmatized by society. This study aims to find out how the background of the underground Sufism community, as well as how the underground Sufism community can be close and change punk children by applying appropriate educational methods. The da'wah guidance carried out by Ustadz Halim focused on releasing alcohol, drugs, sex, and other crimes, by conducting psychotherapy following tariqoh qadariyah wa naqsybandiyah (TQN) Suryalaya with the concept of al-inabah. Abstract:
The media raises our children and form an important part of their daily lives. It is impossible to imagine life without the presence of the media. They are the main source of information, content, and topics on upbringing, education, culture, politics, and entertainment. The media are socializing agent which impact on society, children and youth is significant. Accordingly, there should be a greater social intention for media education and training. The role of media education in our schools is still underused, often marginalized and sometimes misunderstood by both teachers, preschool teachers, children and young people. The number of media, internet users and profiles and social networks is growing every day, as evidenced by numerous studies, but there is not enough education for the media nor education for critical thinking. Therefore, in this paper we tried to explore the media habits of children and youth in the local community, with special reference to the time that they spent on the Internet, mostly on social networks, and whether the time spent affected their daily interactions with the environment, friends, family and, at the end of the day, their succes in school. We where interested in how much they used social network, at what age they created their profiles, and how free they felt in providing information about themselves and others through the media. According to the results, children create their profiles on social networks at a very early stage, even when they are not ready or educated for it. In addition, children are very open to the virtual world of communication with the people they do not know in real life, even to meet strangers without being aware of possible manipulation, false profiles, violence and the like. There is a clear awareness among most respondents about the need for media education, regardless of the difference in the amount of time that they spend on social networks, as well as a clearly articulated stand on the need to introduce media education as part of compulsory education in schools.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to determine the level of religious intensity of punk groups in West Java and their attachment and how the influence of punk religious intensity on the decline in their group attachment. This research uses a correlational approach that aims to detect the extent to which variations in a factor are related to variations in one or more other factors. After data processing, the results showed that 13% of punk children have a high intensity of religiosity, 43% are moderate and 44% are low. Regarding the level of attachment to the punk community, the results showed that 35% were categorized as high, 49% were moderate, and 16% were low. This means that 65% of punk children experience attachment to their community. This study shows that there is a strong correlation between religious intensity and disengagement in the punk community with a correlation coefficient of 0.745. This strong correlation implies a corrective effect of religion on the level of social deviance. This research also shows that the most effective da'wah to overcome social deviation is with the targhîb approach in the form of amar ma'ruf which is persuasive compared to the tarhîb approach in the form of nahyi munkar which tends to be repressive.

Abstract:
This chapter presents personal reflections and insights from my own fieldwork experiences. These ethnographic studies involved the children of sex workers in a red -light area in Pune, India, and children living in the conflict zone of Indian-administered Kashmir. The chapter addresses questions of reflexivity as an ethical stance, and the integral and dynamic role of researcher identity, which highlights the emotional labour of doing research on such sensitive research themes. This chapter also evaluates methods, tools, and fieldwork practices used to elicit the views of vulnerable children often neglected in such controversial and contested topics.

Abstract:
Abstract The chapter concerns exile, both as a historical trauma and a metaphor for all human alienation. It begins with prefigurations of exile in Proto-Isaiah (chs 1–39), the vertiginous pun between the words for exile and revelation, and typological figures who proleptically embody the deportation, such as the king and the prophet. The rest of the chapter focuses on the mission of Cyrus as YHWH’s anointed in ch. 45, the displacement of the Davidic promise onto Israel, the servant and the prophet in chs 55.3–5 and 61.1–3, and the figure of Zion as the spectral mother in ch. 49. Zion is the mother whose dead children return to her; however, it is those very children who mourn for her. The message is that the dead come back to life, but that one cannot erase the past. Presiding over this change is the exiled, maternal figure of God.

Abstract:
As the seasons turned and a new year passed, Love Canal remained a whirlwind of remediation activity. “A plan is being set in motion now to implement technical procedures designed to meet the seemingly impossible job of detoxifying the Canal area,” EPA administrator Eckardt C. Beck declared in January 1979. Though a cold Western New York winter had set in, Beck explained that everything remained on track. “The plan calls for a trench system to drain chemicals from the Canal. It is a difficult procedure, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will yield some degree of success.” Beck reiterated that securing Love Canal’s poisons, rather than evacuating all area residents, remained the key to the neighborhood’s future. While conceding that no “one has paid more dearly already than the residents,” Beck commented that the Love Canal “tragedy” was well on its way to a successful resolution. Beck was wrong. In February, New York declared homes beyond the inner ring potential health hazards to pregnant women and children under age 2. Health officials recommended temporary evacuation but no more home buyouts. While roughly two dozen families exited, remaining residents exploded. If the broader neighborhood was deemed unsafe, they clamored, then everyone should be evacuated. The LCHA, several of whose members had been arrested in December for blocking remediation vehicles, intensified its protests but to no avail. Most Love Canal residents remained in a toxic environment. As one person put it dimly, the neighborhood itself had become a chemical “prison.” A local punk band called the Vores captured the area’s dark mood. “Contaminated. We’re all contaminated. Don’t get near us, or you’ll turn blue,” the band growled in a tune entitled simply “The Love Canal.” “Contaminated. We’re all contaminated. Don’t let us move in or you’ll get it too.” The troubling tenor of the times notwithstanding, Love Canal residents refused to give up.

Abstract:
Western Berlin, October 3, 1991. Tag der Einheit: “Unity Day.” The first anniversary celebrating German reunification. Or perhaps “marking” reunification is a more accurate term. No jubilant talk of a New Germany, no flag-waving nearby. My forehead pressed against the cool glass of the third-storey living-room window, I watch a half-dozen skinheads swagger in the street below. “Asylanten Raus!” (“Asylum Seekers Out!”) they chant. “Deutschland den Deutschen!” (“Germany for the Germans!”). Black jeans, jackboots, bomber jackets stabbed with Waffen SS insignias. Dirty blond hair clipped close on the sides, Hitler-style, with a single long forelock. Punk turned political with a vengeance. Waving swastikas, shouting the inevitable yet overwhelming “Sieg Heil!” they’re heading toward the Breitscheidplatz, West Berlin’s central square. Behind me, the Thursday evening news. The sparkle of holiday fireworks gives way to the explosion of terror sweeping across the country. Shelters for asylum seekers torched in Karlsruhe in the southwest and Dusseldorf in the northwest. On the island of Rügen, in the Baltic, a dormitory for refugees razed and incinerated; two Lebanese children severely burned. A hostel for foreigners firebombed in Bremen. “. . . at least 16 racist assaults within 48 hours, bringing the number of attacks to 1,387 since the beginning of the year: the worst outbreak of violence since Hitler’s Germany.” The right-wing German People’s Party, which has just captured an alarming six seats in Bremen’s local elections, does not denounce the violence; its spokesman instead urges immediate restrictions on immigration. A conservative minister pitches Prime Minister Kohl’s proposal to push through a constitutional amendment curbing Germany’s liberal provisions for asylum, which have already opened the doors to more than 1.3 million foreigners since 1989. An interview with historian Golo Mann: “It’s 1933 again.” But dinner is ready. Wolfgang, 44, a wissenschaftlicher Assistent (lecturer) in sociology at the Free University of Berlin, joins me at the window. He takes a long drag of his cigarette. “The Hitler Youth of the ’90s,” Wolfgang says. “German Unity!?! Who knows what this ‘new Germany’ will lead to?” He turns his back on the receding parade of young faschos.

Abstract:
Slobodan and Aleksandar Obradović (father and son) from Bijelo Polje are authors whose fiction abounds in fantastic motifs ‒ characters’ actions, their ability to travel through time zones, their mythological features and the mission they are devoted to accomplish. Capable inventors, fliers, beings who transcendentally move from place to place require critical judgment ‒ whether contemporary children’s literature is truly in accordance with their age and whether and to what extent a child can identify with or distance from the characters. By combining symbols and fiction, both writers encourage readers to decipher the symbols and teach them the lesson of the story. The writers express their thoughts about important life issues through fictional characters, using narrative polyphony, skillfully avoiding identification with any character. Crossing the line between literary and non-literary is typical for both writers. In addition, parents’ role in child upbringing and their influence on the development of child’s imagination should be considered.
