Abstract:
The present paper deals with the description of the technical activities conducted within the TACIS Project R2.03/97, 2 EC Contract no. 30303, related to RBMK. The project activities are focused toward the setting-up of a chain of computational tools suitable for the analysis of transients expected in the RBMK nuclear power plant (NPP). The accident leading to the rupture of one pressure channel, with fuel melting or high temperature damage, creep and brittle failure of the pressure tube and of graphite bricks with possibility of rupture propagation, constitutes the reference scenario for the project. However, a series of expected scenarios has been selected to prove the capability of the individual codes or chains of code in simulating the envisaged phenomenology. The paper summarizes the activities performed at NIKIET in Moscow and at University of Pisa (UNIPI) in Pisa. A top-down approach is pursued in structuring the executive summary that includes the following sections: (i) the safety needed for the RBMK NPP, (ii) the roadmap, (iii) the adopted computational tools, (iv) key findings, (v) Emphasis is given to the multiple pressure tube rupture (MPTR) issue and the individual channel monitoring (ICM) proposal.

Abstract:
The article presents the results of analyses of the impact of the socioeconomic status (SES) of the student’s family on the selection processes at the threshold of upper secondary school. It was checked whether SES affects these processes only through the results of the lower secondary school examination or there is a direct impact of this factor. The data used came from the nationwide survey of upper secondary school students, which was a Polish extension of OECD’s PISA study. The results of path modeling prove that there is a direct impact of status factors on the selection processes and its strength is similar to the SES effect mediated by the results of the lower secondary school (gimnazjum) examination.

Abstract:
We prove convergence of solutions to the parabolic Allen–Cahn equation to Brakke's motion by mean curvature in Riemannian manifolds with Ricci curvature bounded from below. Our results hold for a general class of initial conditions and extend previous results from [T. Ilmanen, Convergence of the Allen–Cahn equation to the Brakke's motion by mean curvature, J. Differential Geom. 31 (1993) 417–461] even in Euclidean space. We show that a sequence of measures, associated to energy density of solutions of the parabolic Allen–Cahn equation, converges in the limit to a family of rectifiable Radon measures, which evolves by mean curvature flow in the sense of Brakke. A key role is played by nonpositivity of the limiting energy discrepancy and a local almost monotonicity formula (a weak counterpart of Huisken's monotonicity formula) proved in [Allen–Cahn approximation of mean curvature flow in Riemannian manifolds, I, uniform estimates, to appear in Ann. Sc. Norm. Super. Pisa Cl. Sci.; arXiv:1308.0569], to get various density bounds for the limiting measures.

Abstract:
The Qur’an has a comprehensive view of the conception of education. Among the core of education is literacy. Student’s literacy skills are able to lead the nation’s generation to be literate and discover their potential. PISA research results in 2018 prove that Indonesia is ranked more than 10 and below in several assessment areas, such as reading, mathematics and science. The PISA 2018 data shows that the level of literacy in Indonesia is still low. Apart from the responsibility of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) to develop educational policies, students also have a role as booster of the quality of education. Seeing the conception of literacy education from the perspective of the Qur’an, the KATABA Ma’had Al-Jami’ah became the object of research. The existence of this community acts as a support for the literacy atmosphere in the Ma’had environment which contributes to developing the world of writing and research. Through the qualitative method used in this study, the authors found that KATABA is a manifestation of the practice of the concept of literacy in Al-‘Alaq verses 1-5. The existence of literacy community among students contributes to the academic development of students. An increasing achievement index is one indicator of the success of the community in increasing the level of education in higher education.

Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate the effect of a training program based on the trends in international mathematics and science study (TIMSS) on developing the habits of mind and mathematical reasoning skills among pre-service math teachers in Oman. The study sample consisted of 24 female pre-service math teachers divided into two equal groups: experimental and control. The study data was collected by sued the mathematical reasoning test and questionnaire that measured the level of habits of mind after appropriate validity and reliability. The study results showed statistically significant differences between the two study groups in favor of the experimental group in the mathematical reasoning test and the habits of mind scale. The study recommended that the need for pre-service math teachers to use programs based on international studies such as TIMSS, PISA, PIRLS, and TAILS; this was done to prove their effectiveness in developing the levels of habits of mind and mathematical reasoning skills by subjecting them to training programs, courses, and workshops with the aim of training teachers to implement the training programs effectively.

Abstract:
It is evident from the PISA 2018 results that a trend in mean performance in reading has been declining in the Slovak Republic. The KEGA Project “Idioms in Business Communication”, run at the Department of English Language, aims at improving reading literacy, widening formal and informal vocabulary and facilitating business communication. Both traditional and modern styles of language teaching are used. The control group of students does a traditional course and the experimental group of students enrols in a “Business Communication” e-course on LMS Moodle platform, as well. With the use of the Internet and supporting materials, this group is involved in various activities. The paper compares the study results of 144 first-year and 97 second-year students of the University of Economics in Bratislava achieved in departmental standardised business English tests after completing three courses in business English for advanced students. The method of Hypothesis Testing (t-Test) assesses the significance of the difference between the levels of knowledge of both groups. The research findings prove that the experimental group of students achieved better results in final evaluation than the control group of students. The results also confirm that an alternative form of business English teaching was effective.

The iodo-oxyimidation of styrenes with the N-hydroxyimide/I2/hypervalent iodine oxidant system was proposed. Among the examined hypervalent iodine oxidants (PIDA, PIFA, IBX, DMP) PhI(OAc)2 proved to be the most effective; yields of iodo-oxyimides are 34–91%. A plausible reaction pathway includes the addition of an imide-N-oxyl radical to the double C=C bond and trapping of the resultant benzylic radical by iodine. It was shown that the iodine atom in the prepared iodo-oxyimides can be substituted by various nucleophiles.

Abstract:
The results of research about functional literacy (i.e. ability to read, understand and create text and understand its further use), and especially those results that 15-year-olds show in Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), as well as the importance of this competence for life and work in a modern society, indicate the need for analysis of all the segments that affect its development and improvement. Project How to help students to successfully create oral and written, artistic and non-artistic texts addresses this area in particular. The culture of oral and written expression, as productive language skills, is very interesting to research, and especially to improve. Inseparable from the receptive skills of listening and reading, they are their explicit product. A significant number of theorists and methodologists dealt with this area, but their activity was usually focused on what the teacher needed to do for the students to write well (focused on the process, method, or the result: students' written work). What is unquestionably lacking, but is in the spirit of the changes that we have introduced in our educational system, is dealing with the student as a creator of the text. The observations of methodologists of language and literature teaching prove that this factor in teacher-student-written work conjunction was least dealt with. They point out that the main characteristic of the current literature on the written expression is exaggerated orientation towards written works and neglecting of their authors (creators). The aim of the project was to investigate and recommend the best ways in which to build a functional literacy in the area of successful creation of oral and written text, i.e. to propose a more efficient teaching in the field of oral and written expression. This paper analyzes the opportunities for the development of these areas, providing current educational programs for Mother tongue language and literature in Montenegro, and presents the methodical approach The Creator's path designed as a means of support for all students when creation of text is in question.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The last few years have brought us handbooks, companion guides and encyclopaedias in serried ranks. In size these works have ranged from magnum (opus) through to double magnum or perhaps (in the case of the 2010 Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Greece and Rome) to jeroboam. The new Wiley-Blackwell Encyclopedia of Ancient History outdoes them all in capacity (clearly a rehoboam) and range. This vast work – comprising over 5,000 entries in more than 7,000 pages – advances confidently (note the bold use of the definite article in the title: TheEncyclopedia of Ancient History) beyond the confines of the ‘classical world’ and ‘ancient Greece and Rome’ to provide nothing less than a reference work for the whole of Ancient History from the Near East to the Egypt of the Pharaohs, from the Neolithic to the eighth century ce. The refusal of this work to recognize traditional boundaries would clearly have appealed to the spirit of Alexander III, the Great (whose entry spans an impressive six pages). Alexander would no doubt also be impressed by the remarkable juxtapositions which occur within this alphabetized encyclopaedia: in volume 11 we move within five pages from an Egyptian residence and town associated with Rameses II (Piramese) to the Greek district of Elis around Olympia (Pisa) to a ‘short Jewish magical text of a Late Antique Babylonian provenance’ (Pishra de-Rabbi Hanina ben Dosa; 5337). Alexander's attempts at eastward expansion proved, in the end, too much for his men. One wonders if this work too – in the form of thirteen printed volumes – may prove to be similarly overwhelming to many an undergraduate whose starting point lies in Augustan Rome or Periclean Athens:(consider, for example the daunting thirty-five pages of maps which precede the first entry in volume 1 (not ‘Aardvark’, alas, but ‘Abantes’). However, it is important to consider that the print version of this work is not the end of the project nor even the main point of the project at all. The Encyclopedia of Ancient History is a true child of the World Wide Web. It has clearly been conceptualized as an online resource (not simply as a printed text that can be viewed on a computer screen) that will continue to expand and evolve: The electronic form of the EAH will continue to add new articles, indeed new areas of the ancient world; to revise existing ones; and to create spaces for correction and discussion of published articles – even, in line with our conviction of the open-endedness of history, counter-articles… . It will try to represent something of the unsettledness of our disciplines and their vitality. It will continue to evolve as historical studies do. (cxxxvi)

Abstract:
Background and Objective: Periodontitis is a complex disease and is proven to be a risk factor for various systemic diseases by causing an inflammatory burden. CRP is an extremely sensitive marker for inflammation and its levels have been shown to be associated with periodontal inflammation. IL-6 has been shown to affect the production of CRP. To associate periodontal inflammation to any systemic disease it is necessary to quantify the amount of inflamed periodontal tissues. A new measure Periodontal Inflamed Surface Area (PISA) has been developed for the same. In the light of the above mentioned facts this study is designed to assess serum and GCF levels of CRP and IL-6 and correlate these with PISA in patients affected by chronic periodontitis. Materials and Methods: A total of 45 systemically healthy patients with chronic periodontitis participated in the study. Periodontal parameters, i.e BI, PI, CI, mean CAL and PISA (using spreadsheet by Huojel et al,2000) were recorded for all patients. GCF and serum samples were harvested from all subjects and samples were stored and analyzed for CRP and IL-6 using ELISA kits. Results: The PI, BI, CI and mean CAL had a positive correlation with PISA. BI and mean CAL had a significantly positive correlation with PISA (p<0.05). PISA also had a positive correlation with GCF levels of CRP (r=0.098, p=0.57), serum CRP levels (r=0.14, p=0.42), GCF IL-6 (r=0.89, p=0.61) and a significantly positive correlation was seen between PISA and serum levels of IL-6 (r=0.41, p=0.014). Also, there was a positive correlation between GCF and serum levels of CRP and IL-6. The serum levels of CRP and IL-6 had a significantly positive correlation (r=0.39, p=0.02). Conclusion: Higher PISA values were associated with higher serum levels of the inflammatory markers., thus proving that PISA could probably be used to correlate the local inflammatory burden with the systemic inflammatory burden.

This article analyzes the ways to apply Learning Analytics, Cloud Technologies, and Big Data in the field of education on the international level. This paper provides examples of international analytical researches and cloud technologies used to process the results of those researches. It considers the PISA research methodology and related tools, including the IDB Analyzer application, free R intsvy environment for processing statistical data, and cloud-based web application PISA Data Explorer. The paper justifies the necessity of creating a stand-alone web application that supports Ukrainian localization and provides Ukrainian researchers with rapid access to well-structured PISA data. In particular, such an application should provide for data across the factorial features and indicators applied at the country level and demonstrate the Ukrainian indicators compared to the other countries’ results. This paper includes a description of the application core functionalities, architecture, and technologies used for development. The proposed solution leverages the shiny package available with R environment that allows implementing both the UI and server sides of the application. The technical implementation is a proven solution that allows for simplifying the access to PISA data for Ukrainian researchers and helping them utilize the calculation results on the key features without having to apply tools for processing statistical data.

Abstract:
Abstract Poly(ionic liquids) (PILs) exhibit better durability, processability, and mechanical stability than ionic liquids. PIL self-assembly in green solvents is a well-established strategy for preparing polyelectrolytes. Reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization-induced self-assembly (PISA) has proven to be the most controllable method for synthesizing polyelectrolytes. However, there have been few reports on preparing high-order morphology PILs by RAFT-PISA. A new type of ionic monomer, 1-butyl-3-(4-vinylbenzyl)imidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([BVBIm][PF6]), was prepared from substitution reaction and ion exchange reaction of 1-butylimidazole and 4-vinylbenzyl chloride. Herein, various morphologies, including spheres, worms, and vesicles, were easily obtained via RAFT ethanolic dispersion polymerization using poly(N,N-dimethylacrylamide) (PDMA43) as the macromolecular chain transfer agent and [BVBIm][PF6] as the monomer. Dispersion polymerization kinetic experiments, dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy, and differential scanning calorimetry were used to investigate the PDMA43-b-P([BVBIm][PF6]) x block nanoparticles. This efficient RAFT-PISA method for preparing functionalized PIL nano-objects with controlled morphologies represents significant progress in this field.

Abstract:

However, AprioriLike algorithm took a long time to search for them. Moreover, not all sequential patterns were important for the user. In order to get the right and meaningful features for classification, user uses a constraint in sequential pattern mining. Constraint is also expected to reduce the number of sequential patterns that are short and less meaningful to the user. Therefore, we developed CBS_CLASS* with Single Constraint Progressive Mining of Sequential Patterns or Single Constraint PISA or PISA*. CBS_Class* with PISA* was proven to classify data in faster time since it only processed lesser number of sequential patterns but still conform to user’s need. The experiment result showed that compared to CBS_CLASS, CBS_Class* reduced the classification execution time by 89.8%. Moreover, the accuracy of the classification process can still be maintained.</span><p> </p>

Abstract:
.Bali's creative economy in 2020 shows that 26.26% was dominated by music, 12.64% from performing arts, 8.29% from culinary, and 52.81% from other sub-sectors. By looking at the data, there are one sub-sector that is not quite as significant as the others and that is fashion. One subculture actor who is quite active in the local fashion industry is Pica, subdivided by Picamagz and Pica Fest. They are quite constant in holding subcultural events such as music shows and fashion festival. This proves that local fashion industry can give contribution and can also be supported by other industry. The purpose of this study is to analyze the social creative field of Picamagz and Pica Fest. The method used for this study is qualitative descriptive with the validation from interviews and observation. The result of this study shows that that the field of expression, production, dissemination and appreciation filled with active actors who holds their respective role.

Abstract:

The education sector has been effectively dealing with the prediction of academic performance of the Immigrant students since the research associated with this domain proves beneficial enough for those countries where the ministry of education has to cater to such immigrants for altering and updating policies in order to elevate the overall education pedagogy for them. The present research begins with analyzing varied educational data mining and machine learning techniques that helps in assessing the data fetched form PISA. It’s elucidated that XGBoost stands out to be the ideal most machine learning technique for achieving the desired results. Subsequently, the parameters have been optimized using the hyper parameter tuning techniques and implemented on the XGBoost Regressor algorithm. Resultant there is low error rate and higher level of predictive ability using the machine learning algorithms which assures better predictions using the PISA data. The final results have been discussed along with the upcoming future research work.

Abstract:
Abstract Planar inverted F antenna (PIFA) is mainly fit for mobile devices. PIFA is mostly designed for dual band frequencies as it is capable of covering wide range of wireless services. This in turn helps in making it acceptable for designing mobile devices. Sizes of ground plane as well as PIFA’s position with respect to ground plane actually effect the performance of PIFA. For example, placement of PIFA at corner of ground plane shows good radiation pattern. Major prerequisite of 5G is nothing but the capability to enhance data volume to every single user, while supporting majority of mobile users as well as new maneuvers. The best part is advanced antenna array technologies are able to meet such requirements. Although PIFA antenna has gained popularity in designing mobile handsets, because of light weight, lower cost as well as higher directivity, PIFA antenna Arrays have been proved to be strong foundation for future 5G Mobile Communication Systems as PIFA Arrays provide better gain than single PIFA antenna in same frequency band. Current work presents a comprehensive study on so far impact of PIFA as well as PIFA Array in providing infrastructure for future mobile innovations suitable for 5G communication.

Abstract:

AbstractIn unpublished notes, Pila discussed some theory surrounding the modular function j and its derivatives. A focal point of these notes was the statement of two conjectures regarding j, j′ and j″: a Zilber–Pink-type statement incorporating j, j′ and j″, which was an extension of an apparently weaker conjecture of André–Oort type. In this paper, I first cover some background regarding j, j′ and j″, mostly covering the work already done by Pila. Then I use a seemingly novel adaptation of the o-minimal Pila–Zannier strategy to prove a weakened version of Pila's ‘Modular André–Oort with Derivatives’ conjecture. Under the assumption of a certain number-theoretic conjecture, the central theorem of the paper implies Pila's conjecture in full generality, as well as a more precise statement along the same lines.

Abstract:
: In September 2017, passive surveillance allowed the detection of West Nile virus (WNV) lineage 2 for the first time in northern Spain in a northern goshawk (Accipiter gentilis). However, a cross sectional study carried out in Eurasian magpies (Pica pica) in a nearby area evidenced that WNV had been circulating two months earlier. Therefore, active surveillance in Eurasian magpies proved its effectiveness for the early detection of WNV in a non-endemic area. Further surveys in 2018 and the beginning of 2019 using young magpies (i.e., born after 2017) showed the repeated circulation of WNV in the same region in the following transmission season. Therefore, active surveillance in Eurasian magpies as well proved to be useful for the detection of WNV circulation in areas that may be considered as endemic. In this manuscript we present the results of those studies and discuss reasons that make the Eurasian magpies an ideal species for the surveillance of WNV, both in endemic and non-endemic areas.

Abstract:
In this study, we assessed the efficiency of compulsory lower secondary education. We selected three variables that may significantly affect students’ performance in a particular country. First, we assumed that student scores achieved in PISA testing determine the number of monetary funds spent on these three variables, specifically student–teacher ratio, class size, and the annual number of hours spent in school. Second, we evaluated the efficiency of education in a sample of 24 different OECD countries, comparing the students’ performance in PISA 2018. Third, we used the two-stage data envelopment analysis with a bootstrapping procedure for estimating technical efficiency scores. Finally, we applied OLS and quantile regression, where our regression estimates in both models showed a positive effect of GDP per capita on students’ achievement across countries. The positive impact of GDP per capita was significant only for the least efficient countries. Conversely, the level of impact of parental education was much stronger and more positive for the inefficient countries and proved to be negative for more efficient countries.

Abstract:
Abstract Posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) aneurysms account for 3% to 4% of all intracranial aneurysms with an unusually high predilection towards a nonsaccular morphology making microsurgical clipping or endovascular reconstruction of the parent artery difficult. The management of these complicated aneurysms may require revascularization procedures for flow preservation with aneurysm trapping. Recently, there is an increasing inclination towards intracranial–intracranial (IC-IC) bypasses over traditional extracranial donors. This video demonstrates a side-to-side PICA–PICA in situ bypass with trapping of an unruptured incidental right p1-PICA aneurysm. Radiological lesion progression and presence of dysplastic morphological characteristics prompted surgical management. The aneurysm was not amenable to clip reconstruction due to the dysplastic PICA segment and lack of a discernable neck. Institutional Review Board approval and patient consent were sought. With patient in three-quarter-prone position, a right far lateral craniotomy was performed. A left-to-right p3-p3 PICA bypass was completed. The aneurysm was clipped along with proximal PICA at its takeoff from vertebral artery. Indocyanine green videoangiography revealed complete occlusion of aneurysm and proximal PICA and a patent anastomosis with distal right PICA flow. Postoperatively, patient recovered with no new neurological deficits. Dolichoectatic posterior circulation aneurysms are not readily amenable to clip reconstruction. PICA–PICA in situ bypass is an elegant alternative to existing extracranial–intracranial revascularization constructs (occipital artery to PICA).1 There is lower neurological morbidity associated with IC-IC bypass vs PICA reimplantation due to the deep surgical corridor and its proximity to lower cranial nerves. Additionally, in this patient endovascular occlusion posed a higher risk of thrombotic complications and postprocedural cerebellar edema with brainstem compression.2

Abstract:
We present a complex analytic proof of the Pila–Wilkie theorem for subanalytic sets. In particular, we replace the use of $C^{r}$-smooth parametrizations by a variant of Weierstrass division. As a consequence we are able to apply the Bombieri–Pila determinant method directly to analytic families without limiting the order of smoothness by a $C^{r}$ parametrization. This technique provides the key inductive step for our recent proof (in a closely related preprint) of the Wilkie conjecture for sets definable using restricted elementary functions. As an illustration of our approach we prove that the rational points of height $H$ in a compact piece of a complex-analytic set of dimension $k$ in $\mathbb{C}^{m}$ are contained in $O(1)$ complex-algebraic hypersurfaces of degree $(\log H)^{k/(m-k)}$. This is a complex-analytic analog of a recent result of Cluckers, Pila, and Wilkie for real subanalytic sets.

Abstract:
Sequential pattern mining is one of the most important aspects of data mining world and has a significant role in many applications like market analysis, biomedical analysis, weather forecasting etc. In the category of mining sequential patterns the usage of progressive database as an input database is relatively new and has a wide impact in decision-making system. In progressive sequential pattern mining, we discover the frequent sequences progressively with the help of period of Interest. As the traditional approaches of frequency based framework are not much more informative for decision making, in recent effort utility framework has been incorporated instead of frequency. This addressed many typical business concerns such as profit value associated with each pattern. In this paper, we applied the concept of frequent utility over the progressive database and discovered the sequential pattern efficiently. To do so we proposed an algorithm called U-Pisa which works progressively with the help of a quantitative progressive database. We conducted sub-stantial experiments on the proposed algorithm and proved that this process performs well.

Abstract:
Background: The midline suboccipital approach with the patient in the prone position is safe and effective for clipping vertebral artery–posterior inferior cerebellar artery (VA–PICA) aneurysms. Using a conventional surgical microscope from the rostral end of the patient for this approach without an extreme head-down position requires the surgeon to overhang the visual axis of the microscope and perform surgical manipulations in an uncomfortable posture. We report performing the midline suboccipital approach from the rostral end with slight head-down position using ORBEYE, a new high-definition (4K) three-dimensional exoscope. Case Description: A 65-year-old woman was admitted for clipping of a right unruptured VA–PICA aneurysm (maximum diameter, 5mm) located medially and ventral to the hypoglossal canal. After induction of general anesthesia, the patient was placed in the prone position with the head titled slightly downward. A midline suboccipital approach was performed from the rostral end of the patient using ORBEYE. Clipping was safely accomplished in a comfortable posture. No operative complications occurred. Postoperative computed tomography angiography showed complete aneurysmal obstruction. Conclusion: Exoscopic surgery using ORBEYE is feasible for a midline suboccipital approach to VA–PICA aneurysms from the rostral end of the patient with the patient in the prone with slight head-down position.

It then explores relations between student scores and a number of institutional characteristics of countries' educational systems. Results show that relations exist between average scores and certain institutional or pedagogical practices such as grade repeating or tracking. A high degree of social inequality in achievement proves to be associated with overall score dispersion and degree to which educational system differentiates among students.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVECompressive cranial nerve syndromes can be useful bedside clues to the diagnosis of an enlarging intracranial aneurysm and can also guide subsequent evaluation, as with an acute oculomotor nerve (cranial nerve [CN] III) palsy that is presumed to be a posterior communicating artery aneurysm and a surgical emergency until proven otherwise. The CN VI has a short cisternal segment from the pontomedullary sulcus to Dorello’s canal, remote from most PICA aneurysms but in the hemodynamic pathway of a rupturing PICA aneurysm that projects toward Dorello’s canal. The authors describe a cranial nerve syndrome for posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) aneurysms that associates subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) and an isolated abducens nerve (CN VI) palsy.METHODSClinical and radiological data from 106 surgical patients with PICA aneurysms (66 ruptured and 40 unruptured) were retrospectively reviewed. Data from a group of 174 patients with other aneurysmal SAH (aSAH) were analyzed in a similar manner to control for nonspecific effects of SAH. Univariate statistical analysis compared incidence and risk factors associated with CN VI palsy in subarachnoid hemorrhage.RESULTSOverall, 13 (4.6%) of 280 patients had CN VI palsy at presentation, and all of them had ruptured aneurysms (representing 13 [5.4%] of the 240 cases of ruptured aneurysms). CN VI palsies were observed in 12 patients with ruptured PICA aneurysms (12/66 [18.1%]) and 1 patient with other aSAH (1/174 [0.1%], p < 0.0001). PICA aneurysm location in ruptured aneurysms was an independent predictor for CN VI palsy on multivariate analysis (p = 0.001). PICA aneurysm size was not significantly different in patients with or without CN VI palsy (average size 4.4 mm and 5.2 mm, respectively). Within the PICA aneurysm cohort, modified Fisher grade (p = 0.011) and presence of a thick cisternal SAH (modified Fisher Grades 3 and 4) (p = 0.003) were predictors of CN VI palsy. In all patients with ruptured PICA aneurysms and CN VI palsy, dome projection and presumed direction of rupture were directed toward the ipsilateral and/or contralateral Dorello’s canal, in agreement with laterality of the CN palsy. In patients with bilateral CN VI palsies, a medial projection with extensive subarachnoid blood was observed near bilateral canals.CONCLUSIONSThis study establishes a localizing connection between an isolated CN VI palsy, SAH, and an underlying ruptured PICA aneurysm. CN VI palsy is an important clinical sign in aSAH and when present on initial clinical presentation may be assumed to be due to ruptured PICA aneurysms until proven otherwise. The deficit may be ipsilateral, contralateral, or bilateral and is determined by the direction of the aneurysm dome projection and extent of subarachnoid bleeding toward Dorello’s canal, rather than by direct compression.

Among the side effects of taking antipsychotics, the leading place is occupied by extrapyramidal syndromes (ES) - akathisia, acute and tardive dyskinesia, parkinsonism, syndrome of the "leaning tower of Pisa", "rabbit", acute neuroleptic syndrome. The concept of a neuroleptic threshold assumes the simultaneous development of an antipsychotic effect and the emergence of an extrapyramidal syndrome. It has been proven that most antipsychotics have a limited therapeutic dose corridor, and ES caused by antipsychotics, which reduces the quality of life, occurs in 50-60% of cases and is the main reason for stopping treatment with these drugs [19].

Abstract:
Kata Kunci: Kehilangan Energi, Jaringan Pipa, Watercad V8i Piping system serves to drain liquid from one place to another. Flow occurs due to the high difference in pressure in the second place, that usually happens because of differences in water level or by the use of pumps. Fluid flow in the pipe experience a loss of energy along the length of pipe that passed, which caused the pipe roughness, length of pipe, pipe diameter, and type of fluid. In this study, two experiments, the experiment using a manometer manually in the laboratory with a wide variety of diameters and types of pipe is smooth pipes and plumbing rough and experiments using V8i WaterCad applications. At the trial the greater smooth pipe flow velocity value (0.792 m / s - 3,740 m / s) in the pipeline, then the value of the energy loss (0.028 to 4.813) will also increase. This proves that the flow velocity is proportional to the rate of energy loss. At the trial the greater rough pipe flow velocity value (0.875 m / s -2.548 m / s) in the pipeline, then the value of the energy loss (0.096 to 0.808) will also increase. This proves that the flow velocity is proportional to the rate of energy loss. The difference with experiments on smooth pipe is greater speed, this diakibarkan because the cross section of the inner tube has a smoother surface and has a smaller cross-sectional area compared to the rough plumbing and rough pipe flow velocity at low due to friction with the rough surface of the pipe .Comparison using the manual method using Watercad V8i application of regression value of manual data and application data (0.787 to 0.975), the results of calculations using Watercad V8i application; the value of speed and energy loss obtained approaching / have a direct positive relationship both with speed and kehilagan energy value obtained using the manual method. Keywords: Loss of Energy, Pipeline, Watercad V8i

Abstract:
High Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) is the way of thinking which should have been mastered by students everywhere early for their life skills. This HOTs skill has been internationally assessed since 2000 every three years attended by all OECD members includes Indonesia through Program International for Student Assessment (PISA). Result of PISA of Indonesian students from 2000 until 2018 still have achieved at level 1a of highest level 6 as national average. Considering geographical area located from West to East, it is very important to map students literacy in each area as base-line of creating integrated effort for Junior High School to increase student’s literacy. This descriptive study aims to promote the profile of Junior High School Literacy. About 40 of 9-grade students and two science teachers involved in this study as research subject. Data were obtained through participative observation, test and video typing for classroom activity during two months on the topic of heredity and electricity. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively as well. Result showed that students literacy still in low category based on national competence assessment. However there is increase of learning outcome proven by pretest (24.46), post test (33.46), and second post test (59.82). Looking into class level in detail based on daily assessment on the topic of electricity and heredity percentage of students literacy can be categorized as scientific comprehension (57%), higher than partial comprehension (19%) and naïve or wrong comprehension (24%). Student scientific comprehension promoted close to PISA literacy competencies includes explaining phenomena scientifically, evaluating and designing scientific enquiry, interpreting data and evidence scientifically. The study imply the important of keep improving daily science classroom activity which promote students higher order thinking skills in order to achieve better scientific literacy.

Abstract:
Machine learning algorithms crucially depend on non-linear mathematical functions such as division (for normalization), exponentiation (for softmax and sigmoid), tanh (as an activation function), logarithm (for crossentropy loss), and square root (for back-propagation of normalization layers). However, when machine learning is performed over secure computation, these protocols incur a large communication overhead and high round complexity. In this work, we propose new multi-party computation (MPC) protocols for such functions. Our protocols achieve constant round complexity (3 for semi-honest, 4 for malicious), an order of magnitude lower communication (54 − 121× lower than prior art), and high concrete efficiency (2−1163× faster runtime). We rely on recent advances in function secret sharing (FSS) to construct these protocols. Our contributions can be summarized as follows: (1) A constant round protocol to securely evaluate nonlinear functions such as division, exponentiation, logarithm, and tanh (in comparison to prior art which uses round complexity proportional to the rounds of iterative methods/required precision) with high accuracy. This construction largely follows prior work in look-up style secure computation. (2) Our main contribution is the extension of the above protocol to be secure in the presence of malicious adversaries in the honest majority setting. We provide a malicious sketching protocol for FSS schemes that works over rings and in order to prove its security, we extend (and prove) a corresponding form of SchwartzZippel lemma over rings. This is the first such extension of the lemma and it can be of independent interest in other domains of secure computation. (3) We implement our protocol and showcase order of magnitude improvements in runtime and communication. Given the low round complexity and substantially lower communication, our protocols achieve even better performance over network constrained environments such as WAN. Finally, we showcase how such functions can lead to scalability in machine learning. Note that techniques presented are applicable beyond the application of machine learning as the protocols effectively present an efficient 1-out-of-N oblivious transfer or an efficient private information retrieval protocol.

Abstract:
Abstract. Given a consistent interest in comparing achievement across sub-populations in international assessments such as TIMSS, PIRLS, and PISA, it is critical that sub-population achievement is estimated reliably and with sufficient precision. As such, we systematically examine the limitations to current estimation methods used by these programs. Using a simulation study along with empirical results from the 2007 cycle of TIMSS, we show that a combination of missing and misclassified data in the conditioning model induces biases in sub-population achievement estimates, the magnitude and degree to which can be readily explained by data quality. Importantly, estimated biases in sub-population achievement are limited to the conditioning variable with poor-quality data while other sub-population achievement estimates are unaffected. Findings are generally in line with theory on missing and error-prone covariates. The current research adds to a small body of literature that has noted some of the limitations to sub-population estimation.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Abstract Background: The clonal expansion of PIGA mutant hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) can be induced by secondary driver mutations in genes such as HMGA2 and JAK2 in some patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). Theoretically, this type of PNH may be cured by molecular targeted therapy if the therapy is specific for the driver mutations and can eliminate PIGA mutant HSCs that acquired a proliferative advantage. However, this theory has not been proven because of the lack of an appropriate targeted therapy for known driver mutations responsible for clonal expansion of PIGA mutant HSCs. We recently treated a case of PNH complicated by chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) with nilotinib and observed a complete molecular response of CML followed by a complete disappearance of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein-deficient (GPI-AP-, PNH-type) cells after 19 months of treatment. Case report: The patient, a 27-year-old Japanese woman, developed severe anemia with leukocytosis and thrombocytosis in 2013. The laboratory findings on admission were as follows: white blood cell count of 18.7x109/L with 1.7% stab neutrophils, 5.4% segmented neutrophils, 9.3% basophils, 1.3% promyelocytes, 5.0% myelocytes, 3.0% metamyelocytes, 18.0% lymphocytes and 0.7% blasts; hemoglobin (Hb)=6.0 g/dL, platelets=1,000x109/L, 20.0% reticulocytes, total/direct bilirubin=1.9/0.3 mg/dL, LDH=1963 IU/L and haptoglobin <10 mg/dL. A high-sensitivity flow cytometry analysis of the patient's peripheral blood at diagnosis revealed that 99.2% of granulocytes, 75.7% of erythrocytes and 99.3% of monocytes were GPI-AP-, while no T cells, B cells or NK cells had the PNH-phenotype (Figure 1A). This GPI-AP- cell distribution pattern was in sharp contrast to that of a patient with typical PNH who showed various percentages of GPI-AP- cells in all lineages of leukocytes and erythrocytes (Figure 1B). A fluorescent in situ hybridization analysis showed that 98.0% of the patient's granulocytes were BCR-ABL gene-fusion positive. Deep sequencing of leukocytes obtained at diagnosis showed a G279T (Q93H) mutation in exon 4 of the PIGA gene. The patient was diagnosed with PNH complicated by CML in the chronic phase, and was treated with nilotinib at 400 mg/day. The percentage of GPI-AP- cells rapidly decreased in response to nilotinib, with 0.02% GPI-AP- granulocytes after six months of nilotinib therapy when the patient's BCR-ABL mRNA decreased to 0.007%. BCR-ABL mRNA decreased to less than 0.0035% 15 months after therapy; however, small populations of GPI-AP- granulocytes (0.01%) and erythrocytes (0.005%) were still detected at this time (Figure 1A). GPI-AP- cells became undetectable after 19 months of nilotinib therapy, suggesting that the BCR/ABL fusion occurred in a subclone of a PIGA mutant hematopoietic progenitor cell (HPC). The patient was continuing nilotinib as of August 2015 without any signs of an increase in the BCR-ABL mRNA copy number. Conclusions: This case indicates the BCR-ABL fusion can be a driver mutation capable of inducing the clonal expansion of PIGA mutant clones. More importantly, the origin of PNH in our case proved to be a minor HPC clone with a PIGA mutation, suggesting that PNH can be derived from an HPC with a limited life span only if a potent second hit occurs in the PIGA mutant HPC. The identification of driver mutations in patients with PNH may therefore lead to the development of targeted therapy capable of curing PNH. Disclosures No relevant conflicts of interest to declare.
